I hold a credit card from HDFC bank bearing no. [protected]. On 18 Dec 2009 I was given a settlement option to repay my outstanding in 8 equal monthly instalments of Rs. 6477.00. Against this agreement I issued the first instalment cheque from my HDFC account bearing 046415 dated 21/12/09, which got cleared from my account on the same day itself. On 18 Dec 09, I was informed that the settlement letter would reach me in two days. Till date I have not received any letter or intimation from HDFC bank regarding the same.

I received a call from HDFC credit cards to issue a post dated cheque for 21 Jan 2010 installment. I reminded them that I have not received the settlement letter till date and requested them to arrange for the same. The credit card has put my savings account on hold for this reason.

I have issued cheques and ECS for other reasons from this account. If the cheques or ECS is not honored due to the hold, why must I pay the penalty.

Please address this issue on priority and help me to resolve this issue at the earliest and oblige.
my name is Sushil Kumar bearing a HDFC credit card[protected]. Due to delaying in payment of hdfc credit card they were put my whole account existing amount put on hold 2 weeks ago. i phoned to customer service desk for the full and final settlement of the credit card payment they told me that aphone call is received with in 24 hours to your mobile number after that your whole amount was released.
But with sorry words i would say they are just harashing me as they have put my whole amount on hold and have not done anything till date and now when ever i am calling them. They just say sir! we are launching your complaint ... again they will phone you back in 24 hours... its such a mess what they are creating every day with me... i am unable to with drawl my money from my account now... as my amount have been putting on hold since 2 weeks .

I am requesting to resolve this issue as soon as possible on very first priority for not any possible delaying anymore by you or by me.

    Hi All,

    This is regarding the HDFCBANK Credit Card False Advertisment....Reference No: [protected], I gave compliant regarding the cash back being not credited to my card. i.e. I used my card in Apollo Hospital on Sept 29th for 58000 and also on Sept 5th for 5000+ (not sure abt the amount). But I was not given the cash back for this as per the site Advertisement Mentioned in the link:http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/customer_center/offers_deals/apollo.htm
    I called Helpdesk and registered a complaint with several follow ups, but went in vein.

    With Reference to the Advertisment (published in Website) i used my credit card in Apollo Hospitals which is established all over india, now they say that it is not valid in your region i.e. Chennai, for which there is no Terms and Conditions even mentioned in the webpage.(Screenshot attached) .By this false advertisment i incurred a loss of Rs.10500.

    So i Request this issue to be poped up to the concern department and fight for the justice as i find no benifits provided by HDFC Credit card is prompted.

      Sub: My loan was rejected forcefully.

      My Name: Susanta Dash ([protected]). Currently I am working at Bharati Airtel Bhubaneswar, Under Avid Communication limited. With 3 months joining. And also 3 ½ years experience at TATA Teleservises, Under Addico Flaxione.

      Sir, I am very sorry to say that my Bike loan was rejected due to some region that yet not been communicated me properly. I believe it was rejected intensely.

      On Dated:[protected] I was applied a Bike Loan from HDFC Bank Finance for Hero Honda CBZ Extreme. At Bhart Motors (Bhubaneswar, Rasulgarh: 751010(Orissa)) Sales Person: Tika (Nick name).Mobile No: [protected]. Documents: 1. Pan Card, 2.Airtel Telephone Bill(Original) 3. One Photo, 4. 2 Local Person Phone No along with Name & address.

      The verification was taken on Dated: 30.12.2009. After My continues follow-up they have rejected the verification. As per them no one is known me On hotel which is on ground floor. He didn’t ask my land lord and not went to my residence where my wife is waited for them. After Some Hour around 6.30PM some one has called me and says your location is not Traceable and no one is aware your name. He deny to wait for some time, I requested please wait for some time let me come to my residency as because I am at office.

      Then I Go to HDFC Bank Website and complained on agency. On very next day they have done once Verification and I believe they have traced the Address. On Around 5.30Pm Some one has called from your office and says your are mentioned that You are working at Bharti Airtel Ltd (Under Avid Communication) and you did not provided any document for that, I says I have only Visiting card for that, As Per them If some one from your Airtel offices mail to this ID samarendra.[protected]@hdfcbank.com they Will approved the Bike loan. On 6.00Pm My Colleague Mr. Jalendra Kumar sent a mil. Contained is mentioned below. Next day they called and says Your Profile is rejected.


      Due to this I am fully fade up, and then I goes to Bajaj Finance and applied for a bajaj pulsar 150, unfortunately they have also rejected too because HDFC was rejected. And also says that you can’t take any loan up to 6 months. Then I called to Mr. Samarendra Bihari (Mob: [protected]), He says On next Monday he will take care and my application will get approve at Bajaj Finance.

      Now Today is Wednesday, till date I Tried to approve my loan at Bajaj Finance They Denied to provide the loan as because of my wrong Impression at HDFC Bank.


      Sir, Need your Kind interference to take the loan at HDFC Bank as because I cant take from further financer.

          Dear Sir,
          I K.M. Babu brought Loan from HDFC Bank Ltd, for my Vehicle TVS XL Super vide loan a/c No. 13403605 I have paid all my EMI's through my post dated cheques and there is nil balance in account. But Bank Representative Mr. Vijay is telling that they got cheque bouced in the october month for that I have to pay penalty but, as per my bank statement they have not submitted the cheque till date even though if they submitted and it was bounced bank will entry the same in my pass book even I left the sufficient funds as on at that. I have already sent the bank statements to their Hubli office for reconciliation. But till now they are telling that I have to pay the penalty then only they will send my original documents.
          Inspite of several reminders they are taking seriously. If the cheque is bounced, I am ready to pay the penaly and for that they have to prove and send they cheque back to me and along with bank adivice, so that I will take action on my bankers.

            i had complain against HDFC bank and his parent HDFCSLIC Company , for fulfilling of their target they totally misguided , fradulant,and forcely selling theinsurance product.
            i am also a salary customer of hdfc bank , i had get number of callsfrom many of the branches for insurance, and also when i go to any of the branch of delhi , i once get and forced by the staff that why you money been idle and you had been not using any of the investment i.e insurance he give a plan
            and lastly they sold me a plan SAP(saving assurance plan)which just liked fd and a fixed tenure of 1 year
            but after getting document i aware that this is long term plan but i get canceeled in free look period
            i think that many of the customer had been misguided by yhe hdfc bank staff
            please do some urgent step that customer where not cheated

              I have a complain to HDFC Security regarding one trading.
              I do trading with HDFC Security telephonic as HDFC Security site is not accessible in my office.
              The details of the complain is given below:
              On 10th December I called HDFC Security and ordered to buy 1 lot of TCS share in future in open position at the rate of 706.90 per share.
              I called again on 16th December in the morning and put a bid to sell this 1 lot TCS share in future at the rate of 706 per share.
              After the call when I saw that TCS share rate is still decreasing then in the day time I called again and ordered to sell my this 1 lot of TCS share in future at market rate. That time the TCS rate was 699. It was asked to me by the executive that “is it for close position?”. I said “yes”.
              Now after that they didn’t sell my that 1 lot of TCS share but in place of that they placed a new request this way “sell 1 lot of TCS as an open position”.
              This was the big mistake taken by HDFC Security system because there is a big difference between selling future share as close position and selling future share as open position. If “sell future share as close position” order executes that means profit can only come if the share rate will increase and if “sell future share as open position” order executes that means profit can only come if share rate will decrease.
              I was unaware of this change and also it was not conveyed to me.
              When I checked my account on 22nd December I found that there is a deduction of 8,455 Rs from my account. When I enquired about it then I came to know that all this blunder happened.
              I talked to HDFC Security and explained everything but they are not ready to accept the mistake. Finally I squared up this position on 24th December at the rate of 744.
              There is a straight loss of 45,000 Rs + Brokerage which comes final total loss nearly 55,000 Rs.

              Please help me to resolve it.

                My application for apersonal loan from HDFC Kochi was ejected sighting the reasonthat I have Housing Loan and Credit Card dues, as per online information, the Bank claims to have gathered from www.infocivil.com. I would like to inform you that I have not availed of any housing loans in my name from any financial instituition: I do not possess any cred cards either.

                Hi,
                i already have a personal loan.There was a offer for top up where my existibng loan gets closed and i pay emi's for the new loan account.I have been paying EMIs for almost 1 year.now for top up they erejected me on verification level. i will still be paying the personal loan EMI's .they are utter fools without any brains.
                they have my company name address all the details.I will take it up to the media to site how foolish bank people can harrass and common people.Please guys refrain from taking personal loans from HDFC.They are really really stupid.
                Mr. Joseph, you can get your cibil report and if any discripencies are there you can talk to the banks and sort it out.

                  I m Amar S Thakur from Mumbai. I applied the personal loan from HDFC on 27th Sep 2010. 3 weeks past and still my personal loan are not approved yet. The agent did the mistake with form and the verification stuck in between the process.

                  Really i got fed up by HDFC's poor service.

                    They people had hold the amount of 23000.00 from my saving account, when i went there and asked them that why you have hold the amount from my account they told that you have take the loan and you have not paid the EMI.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I applied for a Home Loan from Union Bank of India. *UBI official did CIBIL report enquiry, and they told me that there is a Joint, Education Loan of Rs. 1.65 Lakhs ongoing, opened on 27 Dec 2008.*

                    I contacted CIBIL and as per information received from CIBIL, this Education loan A/c is HDFC Bank, and A/c No is 14256203

                    This information is INCORRECT as I have NEVER APPLIED & NOT TAKEN any education loan from ANY BANK. I have never ever been a customer of HDFC bank and never used any of their services

                    I request the concerned authorities to please get it checked and correct the details in in CIBIL Report. This is a criminal case of 'Identify Theft against HDFC bank" updating the wrong details into UNKNOWN PERSONS's CIBIL REPORT.

                    My CIBIL Control number is[protected] and Member id is BN01171091.

                    Looking forward for an immediate response from you,as my home loan process has been halted because of this wrong information.

                      This is with reference to my DEMAT ACCOUNT NO> 26201634 DP ID > IN 301151 with you I have complain against my depository M/s HDFC Bank ltd Fort mumbai as under


                      FACT OF THE CASE

                      I had open a demat with the HDFC Bank ( Hereafter refer as Bank) , At the time of opening of account bank personal is tell me that certain AMC charges is debited to your account against our DP services from second year and first year AMC is totally free to you.


                      Now at the time of completion of first year bank has charged Rs. 551.50 (500 + service tax) to my account for advance AMC charges against Second year demat Services. When I see the charges debited to my account I was rushed to bank for closing of demat account and ask for reversal of pro rata charges to my bank accounts

                      But bank personal is denied for reversed the charges and reply that this is bank policy.

                      Now sir this is my request that please go through the case and ensure the reversal of above charges as I am not using any services from Bank.

                      I never requested for a Dmat account still they created and attached it to my salary account.
                      This month they deducted amount of 551 as service charge..
                      now they are not evn telling waht is the procedure to close the demat account.

                      On 21st march 2011 I got a call from HDFC Security services regarding my Demat Account.After various queries They told that they are going to debit Rs.999/- regarding trading alerts from senior persons .

                      Same thing has happened to me. No body neither customer are executives nor the HDF ank employees provide proper information to customer regarding losing of dmat account and customer has to pay AMC charges unnecessarily.
                      I have even written the complain email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com however nothing has happened yet.
                      Please look into the issue and help me to get the refund of DMAT AMC charges on pro-rata basis
                      My client ID is 30085869 and DP ID is IN301549. I have already submitted the losure form on 8 Sept 2011.

                        I am a Policy holder of HDFC Standard Life Insuarnce, the policy number mentioned above.

                        I registered this policy to get and know about the Policy on 29.11.2009 only and really surprise to know the details of the Policy.

                        When I filled the Form at their Kolkata (Jeevan Deep-Middleton Street) Office then a Lady who took the signature explained me a different policy which is related with Loan from HDFC Home Finance to cover the Loan and Life. The policy which was explained me was for 5 Years prmium payment and sum assured for Rs.5 Lacs equivalent to the loan amount. On that basis I submitted a Cheque of Canara Bank. I took the loan as an NRI and before leaving India in the month of December'08, there was a standing instruction to HDFC Home Finance to add the first year prmium with my Loan Amount and returened back the said cheque.

                        When I came to know about the Policy then I requested to HDFC Standard Life Insurance to return back my money with Interest. Here, I like to inform that the amount of Rs.50,000/- 1st year premium was also taken as loan from HDFC Home Finance.

                        In reply, to that they have narrated a false story and replied as follows :-On conducting a detailed investigation on this matter, we have concluded that all the features and details of this plan were explained to you at the time of taking the policy. Hence we are unable to treat it as a missale.


                        Please look into matter and arrange to take necessary action.

                        Dear Please write a mis sell complaint to compliance head of hdfc slic Mumbai if he rejected your complaint then you can go to local ombudsman office to register a compalint with all the proofs that previous you had communicated with hdfc slic.

                        I have been cheated by HDFC officials and agents.
                        I took policy of HDFC one and a half year back, When I recieved the certificate I saw 60% was deducted as a allocation charges in the policy which was never told to me. When I contacted in the office and agent they told me that it is policy matter of the company which we always hide because we have to meet our targets.
                        Sir after that we made pressure on local company office they assured me that the money would be returned and they are fooling me and treating me like a footballthen I wrote many times to grievences cell of company they called me once I told them that I was never told about the deduction of allocation charges by Mrs. beena agrawal (The official agent of HDFCL)
                        Sir same they have cheated Mr. S k Tomar R/o Shyam complex and the company has returned his money after 14 months it was printed in national news paper Dainik Jagran. Kindly see the attachment.
                        Sir I was very happy when I saw your greivences cell advertisement in news paper it was like a life saving drug to a dead patient.
                        Sir please help me out as I have told company to cancel my policy and return my money as I don't want to have business with cheaters and liers

                        I have been miss- sold an HDFC policy of Rs. 40000/- P.A bearing Policy No.[protected] from your HDFC bank , Nahan Branch , Himachal Pradesh.
                        At the time of selling the policy I was communicated that with a Premium of Rs 40000/- PA , I will get a lump sum amount as mentioned below:
                        1. Premium deposited for 10 Yrs @ Rs40000/-PA --- Rs 400000/-
                        2. Maturity Amount --- Rs. 358000/-
                        3. Three time Bonus depending upon the performance of the Bank

                        So total amount that I wil get after 10Yrs will be Rs. 758000 + Bonus (3 times).

                        During that period I was not in the town But when I got the Policy Document then I Shocked to know that I will get only maturity amount i.e, Rs 358000/- only + bonus.
                        Then immediately I had a talk with your Bank Person as well as call centre persons at my no-[protected] & I communicated the same with them also but there was no response from their side.
                        Meantime I communicated the HDFC Bank Nahan for the cancellation of the Policy in the second week of August’10.

                        I am not interested in this policy & wanyt ny money back with the applicable Interest at the earliest. Already more than 2 months are over & my issue is still pending.

                        Being a loyal & classic customer of HDFC bank I have been cheated by the bank.
                        Now I wany my money back along with Interest without any further Delay in my Savings A/c [protected] HDFC Bank.

                        Hi All,

                        I was duped by an employee from Zuari Chambal named who never told me about the monthly charges for this policy. I was just aware of the fund management charges and nothing extra. I came to know about this when I saw units getting deducted from my policy every month. I want to now surrender this policy and would like to go to the consumer court for this. I would not recommend this policy to anyone and will tell everything which happened to me in all the networking sites.He had said that 60% allocation charges are there in the first month and now close to 8% is getting deducted from my policy every month. After 4.7 years investing in this policy, I have suffered loss of nearly 20k.I complained HDFC for the same the they gave me the cancellation process etc.

                        Invested amount till date=1.06 Lakh
                        Current value = 86k
                        Can someone please help me.

                          I have paid the bill of Rs.1183 purchase I made from Vishal Mega Mart Sec.14 Gurgaon with my HDFC Debit Card. The amount got deducted twice from my account. I sumitted the complaint regarding the same to the phone banking; complaint number: DEL151686 but to no avail. They say that the transaction was never credited to my account. The reference number and date of transaction are as follows:

                          even if now they say that the amount is not credited then I believe they need an eye check. When I asked the customer rep. to help me to get my money back she told me all she can do is file a complaint and gave me excuses and asked me to go to the Branch and fill a form or something. Its so disappointing that I have stopped using HDFC Debit card and planning to move my account to some other bank which can be more helpful.

                          Happened same to me. Money got deducted twice and when i called cust. Rep theu told me same thing to go to bank and fill some forms. As this is not a mistake which is done from our side. This is from bank side and they need to take care of this and they should see that our money get refunded. This is really bad and i am escalating tjis everywhere. I am raisimh complaints everywhere.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            I am a financial advisor (agent) of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co Ltd., and my advisor code is 00042010. My IRDA License expiry date was 11/2008 and when i contacted the company for renewal they completed all the formalities and after one month or so a new agency code was provided to me by the company 00333940.

                            I contacted the company on this and they refuse to provide me my old advisor (agent) code and now i am unable to give service to my old customers as all the details is in my old advisor code.

                            So kindly help me out to get back my old advisor code.

                              i would request you to sent me the final settlement letter of my account,

                              The person calling me from HDFC Credit Card dept, He should know that how to sepak with customer, they dont even know that how to talk, and they are called employee of HDFC Bank,
                              Please mind it!!!

                                sir im from goa india and have a credit card from HDFC BANK .one person called me from call center and told me he gonna give a health policy through my credit card.i tried telling him long time i dont want that policy then i gave him an excuse that father is not at home and i have ask him regarding that.he told me i gonna receive a conformation call after sometime you say ok to them and then he will call me in two days and take my final answer whether yes or no and then he will act foward,but he didint call me .after a weeks time the policy came to my house which i didnt want ,i tried to cancell it when somebody else call me regarding the credit card i used to tell them to cancel the policy but nothing was helpfull.then i went to HDFC BANK margao and gave a application to cancel the same but the time it was two months and i paid two installment already coz i didnt know that i was paying for the premium as i had done a lot of shopping.so now at last the policy is cancelled but ive to pay 3500 rs for preclosure of the policy which i didnt want to take before.i feel its a wrong thing from the bank side by forcefully giving the policy by hook n crook and then charging money to cancel the same.please i dont want to pay any money to the bank but one problem i had some credit on my credit card account which i had received from cathay pacific as i had cancelled the flight ticket.and the bank have deducted rs 3500 from credit balance which i had.please try to help me as i want get my full money back the installments as well a the preclosure fees from the bank.thanking you in advance awaiting for your positive answer.

                                  I took the HDFC credit card in the year of 2006 and blocked in the same year. I never used this HDFC Credit Card for any transactions. The HDFC credit card deparment themselves purchased “Bajaj Life Insurance policy” on March’2009 without informing to me or my approvals for the blocked card. Then HDFC Credit card division deducted amount of Rs.7245.77 from my HDFC Savings A/c on Nov'2009. I came to know all these transactions once the amount deducted from my Savings Account.

                                  Could you please help me to get my amount back?

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    This is with reference to my credit card no. xxxxxxxxxxxx4401(HDFC Bank), I would like to point out that I am an old customer of HDFC and regularly clear my dues except in a few exceptional cases in which I have been late due to some financial exigencies.



                                    But one of their branch in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, Phone no. [protected] (Caller name Mr. Gaurav Sharma, the number given by him was [protected]) abused and threatened today regarding payments where as I have already made payments except for the current month which I have already assured to make by 4th / 5th of January 2010.

                                    The kind of response and talking I have received from the agency is really pathetic and can’t be told in public.


                                    I hope the bank like HDFC should not tolerate this kind of behaviour from its agencies towards its customers.

                                    Also I want immediate action against the said agency. Kindly help me the procdures for these kind of complaints.
