This is to inform you that i have saving account at HDFC mehsana branch and i had loker to this branch which i have surrender as on 27th March 2010 with written application to personal banker. But because of irresponsibility of personal banker rent has been charged for period 1st April, 2010 to 31st March,2011. I have talked to personal banker on customer support but she is not taking responsibility for the same. So give suggestion to me .

      Hi,

      In brief, I was issued joining fee free of cost credit card in August 2004 but HDFC billed me joining fee. Later on, they reversed the charges but to levy it again, partially. Since the same was disputed from the very beginning and not paid for, HDFC continued to bill me finance charges for non payment of the finance charges of previous months. However, they had been reversing finance charges partially, clearly indicating my strong protest against the same. I had been paying my monthly outstanding in full, in the next month and lastly, closed card in June 2005. However, they are continuing to bill me finance charges till date i.e. Mar 2010 and are showing some Rs 31000+ and have put my name in CIBIL. I have proofs of the same and consequently, my creditability is affected.

      Attached herewith is chain of mails and statements. The sequence of events is self explanatory and clearly shows that I never kept any merchant transaction outstanding and paid in full in subsequent month.

      Accordingly, I am planning to launch consumer court case for claiming damages resulting from misdeeds of HDFC. Further, I request you to highlight the matter in media and make general public aware what HDFC is doing in name of CIBIL. This is sheer exploitation and needs to be stopped.

      I am willing to provide additional evidences of HDFC exploitation, if required.

      Dear Bheemaiah,

      I have dealing with HDFC on resolution of the issue pertaining to closed card: [protected] for over two years and it seem to be falling on deaf ears. By stating that I have some Rs 31000 odd outstanding does not help. If you continue to bill me for a card closed in 2005 till 2010, you can show lacs as outstanding charges. Your aim is to arm twist to extract some money out of discerning customers. However, I am now going to take HDFC to task. I am going to report matter in a full-fledged manner to media through appropriate channels and further initiate consumer court case for claiming damages for putting my name in CIBIL and thereby affecting my creditability. Now I have copies of CIBIL report and written evidences of its impact on my creditability.

      I have attached copy of my previous mail which already provides details as to why nothing is outstanding. However, no sensible explanation has ever been provided except for HDFC statements which continue to bill for finance charges. Now, HDFC needs to explain it in media as well as consumer court, as to how they have arrived at this outstanding and further, I will provide threatening recorded calls by HDFC goons recorded by me with full details of call dates, calling number and time.

      To reiterate, I will explain the sequence of events and why no charges are lawfully due, as follows:

      1. The card was issued in July/ August 2004 and it was issued free of cost by DSA who got my application filled. If your DSA misrepresent the facts by telling a lie that card is free when it is not, then principal i.e. HDFC is responsible for act of agent as per contract act 1872. Further, subsequent statements clearly indicate dispute pertaining to joining fees .

      2. In the statement of Sep 2004, joining fee of Rs 2160 levied is reversed fully, clearly indicating my protest and agreement of HDFC that the card is free card. I had merchant transactions of 1050.50 and paid in full Rs. 4151 towards August charges. This joining charge is root cause of later finance charges and dispute.

      3. In the statement of Oct. 2004, surprisingly, HDFC bills me again for membership charges of 2160 but provides credit of Rs. 1350 against the same. This credit does not appear to be any specific % credit and sounds like a very arbitrary amount. On this disputed net amount of Rs. 810, HDFC bills me finance charges in subsequent months !! There is no merchant transaction or any lawful charges on my account, in this month. Accordingly, nothing is lawfully due.

      4. In the statement of Nov 2004, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 5947.32. Although, joining fee of Rs 810 was wrongfully billed in Oct 2004 but non payment of the same results in levy of finance charges of 251.23. Accordingly, I was legally supposed to pay Rs 5947.32 only.

      5. In the statement of Dec 2004, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 8004. I paid in full merchant transactions of previous month i.e. Rs 5947.32. Futher, there was refund from IRCTC towards cancellation of ticket resulting in extra payment. My total credits were Rs 6779 and accordingly, lawful outstanding after excess credit was Rs. 7172.32. However, HDFC billed me 343.37 towards previous outstanding finance charges.

      6. In the statement of Jan 2005, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 32,254.76. I paid full payment of merchant transactions of previous month i.e. Rs 7174. Accordingly, lawful outstanding was Rs. 32,254.76. HDFC did not bill me any finance charges in this statement!

      7. In the statement of Feb 2005, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 12789.5. I paid full outstanding of merchant transactions of previous month i.e. Rs 32255. Accordingly , lawful outstanding was Rs. 12789.5. However, HDFC billed me finance charges of Rs. 1550 but reversed previous months’ finance charges partially for Rs. 602.56. This clearly outlines double standards of HDFC. While they accept my dispute of joining fee and consequently, wrongful levy of finance charges and reverses the same but at the same time levy finance charges on outstanding finance charges during the current month for Rs 1550!!

      8. In the statement of April 2005, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 3737. I paid full outstanding of merchant transactions of previous month i.e. Rs 12790. Accordingly, lawful outstanding was Rs.3737. In this statement HDFC reverses previously levied finance charges partially to the tune of Rs 799.71 clearly indicating my persistent strong protests and consequently, HDFC agreement to the same.

      9. In the statement of May 2005, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 342. I paid full outstanding of merchant transactions of previous month i.e. Rs 3737. Futher, there was refund from Airline cancellation resulting in extra payment for Rs 1441. My net excess payment/ credit was Rs 1101.42 and accordingly, lawful outstanding after excess credit was Rs. 0 (I had to recover Rs. 1101.32). However, HDFC appropriated the excess credit towards the finance charges previously billed!!

      10. In the statement of June 2005, I had merchant transactions of Rs. 6507.4. Since there was excess credit already, I was not supposed to make any payment. Accordingly, lawful outstanding after excess credit was Rs. 5405.98. However HDFC billed me finance charges again on previous outstanding finance charges for Rs. 390.2

      11. In the statement of July 2005, I had closed my card and submitted application along with payment towards previous months merchant transaction outstanding of Rs. 5405.98 by making payment of Rs. 5409. It was getting too much to handle HDFC dispute month after month. Accordingly, I had paid Rs 3.02 extra. There is no lawful outstanding

      12. Post my closure of card, you people continue to bill me for yearly charges and finance charges for non payment of finance charges, thereby accumulating some Rs 31000.

      I have spoken to several managers of HDFC and all agree orally to my plea, but state that HDFC management rules prohibit them to make any consideration, even in lawful cases. HDFC believes in the philosophy of extracting money by putting customers’s name in CIBIL, thereby arm-twisting them for clearance of their name from CIBIL.That’s why HDFC has maximum number of consumer complaints. Its the worst bank to deal with.

      Now as stated above, I have initiated steps to report this matter in media and also seek damages through consumer court, I would like to have a sensible reply / corrective action of clearing wrongful outstanding and clearing my name from CIBIL

      HDFC — Inefficient account management

      Done the online transection of Rs700 for Tata Photon(Internet Service) on 28 Dec 2011,due to some technical the transection got failed and the recharge was not successfull,even though the amount got deducted from the HDFC account.After registering so many complaints to both the service providers( HDFC Bank & Tata Photon) the problem is still not resolved. both of them are not willing to accept the fault from their end,resulting in customer harrasment.
      where is the loophole no one is willing to accept.Its not a matter of just a pity amount but how they are treating customer.

      Need the results on immediate effect.

        on 01 april,i used my debit card to check balance.after entering the pin and choosing bal enquiry from the menu,nothing happened and a mesage was displayed that the card was retained .I had entered the right pin.
        what could be the reason. this has caused great inconvinience and harrassment .Is the bank correct in doing this.can i complain against this?

        HDFC Bank Debit Card — Bad response on ATM PIN Number

        I have not got the HDFC Debit Card pin number after the 3 months of the Debit card Delivery so far... no calls from Bank also... what a Bank it is

        HDFC Bank — Worse ATM Service in NOIDA

        I want all concerned person to pay attention about ATM service provided by HDFC Bank in NOIDA.

        Its only pain for a person to have account with HDFC Bank.

        ATM service is most required in first 10 days of any month. But HDFC ATM SUCKS ..... when YOU require it MOST !!!!

        My nearest ATM is at Kanchanjanga MKT at Sec-51 and near UFLEX, but both remains out of serivce. Some time machine out of service ....some time machine out of cash.....

        Most of the ATM center have only one terminal....

        I warn every person to think thrice before opening account with HDFC BANK.
        I have not got the HDFC Debit Card pin number after the 2weeks of the Debit card Delivery so far... no calls from Bank also...Rohit Jain

        HDFC — Blocking debit card without proper updates

        I have applied for upgraadation of Gold debit card to Platinum debit card
        However I got my new PIN but not the debit card , when I enquired further they said it was returned as my mailing address was not updated properly.. However they did not bother to even inform me the same and now they are saying your current Debit card will also be blocked.....I also failed to understand how is that possible that when I applied for a new credit card it was deliverd to me at the same mailing address a month ago , but incase of debit card the address is not updated.....and noew they say the card will be delivered after i again uipdate my adress and this will take 20 days...till then i cannot use my exisiting debit card as well...I am completely pissed off with such pathetic service of HDFC bank

        I was withdrawing money with my HDFC bank debit card from
        Pimple Gurav, Pune ATM. But after getting cash my debit card not came out, it
        stuck into the ATm

        I am continuously trying to contact your customer support
        numbers but they are not connecting properly. I have tried almost 15 to 20
        times since last night but call gets disconnected or there is no reply.

        I have also contacted Sangavi branch near area to that ATM
        but they also said to contact branch where your account is. So I was searching
        Hinjewadi HDFC bank telephone no. but they are out of service (no existence)

        Can you please take this seriously and let me know the
        procedure to get my ATM debit card. Please provide me correct contact no. of

          I am holding HDFC Bank Credit Card more than 3 years.As per the oral comunication on phone with Mr.Amit Joshi executive of HDFC -Chandivali Division I had done setllement and made the payment.Every time for issuing chq to HDFC Bank for credit card was confirmed for the pending settlement amount with their representative who comes for collection and he has to call Amit Joshi and confirmed that now x amount is outstanding. So i asked for the letter in writing so he assured me that will receive after making final installement of settlement which was given to me on phone. So I have paid the final figures which they are given me on phone.But till today Havn't received any settlement letter and they started calling for further amount.On attemting their office -chandivali personally they told me that your settlement was postponed and now u have to pay all your dues and started calling & harrasing on phones . I was got BP & problems at office.This is nothing but a pure cheating from HDFC to the customers.

            I have done a transaction to transfer Rs. X around 12:30PM on 31-Mar-2010, as per the RBI norms or mentioned on the website that any request before 3:30PM will be processed on the same day.

            This transaction did not took place on 31-Mar-2010, when called the customer care on 01-Apr-2010 they mentioned the following:


            1. Due to 31-Mar-2010 i.e. Year Ending process the transaction will get processed after 2 days
            2. Not ready to register a complaint, as the money will get transferred within 2 days i.e. 03-Apr-2010 so the complain will be of no use as the complain takes 7 working days to attend
            3. I requested to transfer back the money into my account so that I can withdraw the cash from ATM, so their is nothing to reverse back the transaction

            My Query:

            1. Does HDFC Bank work manually or do they have any computerized system?
            2. Does NEFT process stops due to Year End? Any RBI official here to check on this.
            3. Does HDFC Bank stops the NEFT process on 31-Mar-2010 to show the max deposit / profit to their investors on our money?
            4. Why should they block the money of customers when they are not going to process? - the money should be blocked on the day the transaction is processed or transaction should be rejected at the bank's end if their is insufficient amount in the account.
            5. On 01-Apr-2010 due to year end closing, the bank does not process ECS or do not charge the interest to customer?

            RBI / HDFC officials please check the flaw in your system or provide correct instruction on NEFT/RTGS to customers so that they do not feel getting cheated by bank.

            Please resolve my above queries and advise.

            Dear Mridul,

            Kindly note that RBI was closed for NEFT and RTGS on 1st and 2nd April' 10. Thus RTGS was unavailable during this period.NEFT transaction done from 18:01 hours of 31st Mar' 10 onwards will be processed on 3rd April' 10. Hence, there was a delay in processing these transactions. The Funds Transfer requested by you usually takes minimum 2 working days from the date of presenting to RBI. The actual time taken to credit the account depends on the time taken by the Payee’s Bank to process the payment. The money would have reached your bank within the time stipulated by the Reserve Bank of India.

              Hi ,

              I had brought a HDFC children plan[protected] in 2009. An employee of Barasat branch (Sushanta) contacted me and informed that i would be refunded 30% of the 1st premium amount if i go this policy along with other gifts.
              Till date he paid me back 6% of the 30% promised and is not answering the phones anymore. The Manager of the same branch is in no mood of cooperation and it seems they are doing this as a standard practice.

              Complaint to the service desk didnot work complaint # HDFCSL=141-864.

              While checking the policy documents , i notices they have used the cheque which i paid the first premium and then cancelled it somehow using improper practice.

              I would like to get a refund of the entire amount of the premium.

                Dear Sir,

                I have shopped for Rs 1000/- in JC brothers, Ameerpet on 30th Jan 2010 and paid through my debit card. I had checked my bank account statement on 3rd march 2010 and found that the amount has been credited twice. I have approached the merchant and he confirmed me that they have swiped my card only once and showed me the statement from axis bank which clearly shows against by debit card there is only one transaction showing. i have called HDFC phone banker on the same day i.e on 3rd feb 2010 @ 11.10 and informed the case. in the call the representative assured me that the amount will be re credited in 12 working days and also informed me that the complaint no will be sms to my mobile. but i never received any such sms from the banker. i have even folloed up two times in between aswell. Finally the banker had re credited my amount on 25th of march 2010 i.e after 50 days from the day of the complaint. when i have asked for the interest for the days of delay i had not received any response from them. As per me the banker has no right to hold my funds. Please advise.

                    The EMI of Rs.2334.00 for the Month of April 2009 was not debited from my account [protected], even my account is having a balance was Rs.3426.25
                    and i had charge a Cheque bounce charges of Rs.33.00 on 15/04/2009.

                    As I confirm my Personal Loan account balance at Customer care (HDFC Personal Loan Team), they are asking me to deposit a balance of
                    Rs.3767.00 approx. (Rs.2334.00 Installment + Rs.900.00 Cheque Bounce Charges + Rs.533.00 Late Payment Fees)

                    Q. Why should i pay the Cheque bounce charges & late Payment Fees ?
                    When i am not responsible for the Non -Debiting of E.M.I.

                    My Account is Having sufficient fund to pay the EMI and it is HDFC fault that they had not charged the Installment.
                    and at the End of the Loan they are asking for another Rs.1433.00 for these extra payment is not justified.

                    I am attaching the Scanned copy of my Pass book that clears the Amount at the date,

                    Request you to Check the Matter and Waived off the Extra Charges Rs.1433.00 (Rs.900.00 Cheque Bounce Charges + Rs.533.00 Late Payment Fees),

                    I am Ready to pay the Balance EMI of Rs.2334.00 ONLY,

                    but request you to offer a letter showing the Corrected Balance and waiving off the Extra Charges,

                    and also request you to Provide the NOC in the Same respect.

                      I had applied for HDFC credit card & I had message from bank that your credit card is delivered. As I am going for service early in the morning & return late night, my mother stay at my home during the day time.
                      It was told to me that Card is delivered through Express IT courier service & they will call you first & come to your home. But no call is received on my phone & at my residence.
                      Yesterday I got SMS that your card is returned. How this can happen ? Is this the way to give service to your customer? Please do the needful Deliver the card immediately.

                          I got Car Loan # 11120334 from your bank and cleared 31 months payments. Unfortunately six months back I lost my software job due to recession, so I'm facing so many financial problems and my entire family getting mental agony.

                          In this duration I was not able to pay five months installments, and I expressed this information to your local executives and said them that I was looking for final settlement and was asking them many a times for settlement, but they could not turned up. The local loan manager folks Mr Kiran and Mr Ananthraj Bhatt are trying to show their heroism and trying to use unparliamentarily abused language and not responding properly and they instructed some body-building agents to threaten me and my family and my property. However, they forcibly taken over my car lock from my hands, in this case, I approached to Jubilee Hills Police Station and lodged a complaint against them, even they are not caring to the Police Department also.

                          Please save our lives

                            I have taken a 2 loan totalling 3 lacs from HDFC for an interest rate of 7.5 to 8% . Accordingly I had signed an agreement with HDFC for a monthly EMI of Rs.2868/-

                            Till date I have paid the said EMI of Rs.2868/- without fail.

                            But when inflation increased from 5 to 15 , HDFC had increased their interest rate to 13% from 8%.

                            Later inflation reached deflation of -2% from 15% , still HDFC did not reverse their increased interest rate from 15% .

                            Earlier HDFC had increased interest rate to all their customers , therefore I paid the increased difference.

                            Now MY COMPLAINT :

                            HDFC splits their customers into two 1) Old 2) New

                            For new customers they have reduced interest rates back to 8 to 8.75% whereas they insists old customers to pay 13% interest rates. WHY?

                            THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY , INTEREST RATES SHOULD BE TO ALL HDFC CUSTOMERS IRRESPECTIVE OF OLD AND NEW .

                            REQUEST YOUR INTERVENTION IN THIS MATTER.

                                1. Refer HDFC Insurance Policy No. 12697604.

                                2. Firstly, I had never applied for this insurance policy. However it consists of all my details and my signature (forged) as per the photocopy of the policy papers that I have recieved.

                                3. The company customer service claims that I had given an initial DD worth Rs. 50,000 for the policy which can only be claimed if I go through with the three year policy term and timely payment of all the remaining 5 installments.

                                4. I have the following grievances against the company-

                                (a) False documentation for the insurance policy and forgery of signatures.
                                (b) Persistent mails suggesting need to revive the policy at the earliest.
                                (c) No support to close the policy and assistance in finding the culprit who has raised the policy on
                                my name.
                                (d) No support to find out the sales executive who was instrumental in raising the policy.

                                5. The only deductions that I can sum up from my experience is that the company or its sales representatives have designed a nefarious way of luring the consumers into opting for the policy by forging documents and stating that an initial payment of Rs. 50000 has already been made so far thereby urging the consumers to make the entire payment.

                                6. On calculation of the entire benefits, it is evident that the so claimed initial investment of 50,000 (as claimed by the company to have been done by me) is not at all calculated and will not in any case be refunded.

                                7. Sir, Please assist me in finding the exact details as this type of forgery may entail major financial losses as my main salary account is in HDFC Bank which in itself is a sister subsidary of HDFC.

                                  I am Sarita Gandhi i had taken a policy from HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE in march 2009. My policy number is 12841183 and the premium amount is Rs 90000/-. Actually i have a complain against HDFC STANDARD INSURANCE that i have not recived any policy documents yet. I am not in a good mood and totally harrased by the company so i am sending this mail at this time because i am not able to sleep in the night because of this kind of stuff which i am suffering from last four month. I am forwading all the conversation which is going through their service department. I[censored] go through this mail you definetly know that at what all this going on. People dnt know how to talk with customer. As per IRDA law when the policy documents has not recived customer cancil the policy at any time. I dnt know what to right because i am suffering from mentally disturbance by all this stuff. Rs 90000/ is not a small amount for me. They lost my documents and said we had sent the documents on 13/04/2009 nd recived by MR B.S gandhani i dnt know who is he. I said to him please verify take your on time but same answer we had sent the documents. I also said that please check the sign there which is in pod and hire some signing expert and check the sign i pay for this but no answer. I belive that this time i definetly get a justice. PLease do the needfull and go through all the conversation.

After a week i again contact your customer care then someperson said " we have not delivered the policy documents yet we have take to decision there is so miss communication" then i thought whats going on i asked 2 him what i do....the person said go to any nearest branch and full fill some formalities.Then i contact your vikas puri branch there is some anil rawat i asked to him where is my documents but same ans "dnt knw" then i had done some formalities like indemnity form and gave a complain letter. After 1 week i have no response from there i had gone to your paschim vihar branch to give a letter for cancil the policy they also dont knw where is my documents. After few days when i visited to your branch then i knw that some Mr B.S Gandani received the documents i dnt know from where he came into the picture again i am very surprised from your services when i went to your branch then i knw otherwise no information from your side .But i confirm you that I dont knw who is he.I dont know why you are doing all this kind of noncence. Do what you want any verification we are ready for that.
                                  I am totally HARRASED, MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY disturbed. You people must have deducted many charges for the policy servicing. You people please check your services. I am not liable for the lost of policy document..
                                  Last but not the least..please do the needfull & reverse my money back as soon as possible otherwise i have to take further steps.

                                    I am holding credit card of HDFC Bank [protected] of name Subhashish Bhattacharya .I have always ensured that all the payments are being made on time till February 2010. I am using this card for the last three years.

                                    Since last month I have been undergoing some financial crisis and hence requested the customer care to freeze the whole amount and instead of paying the minimum amount due, to pay the rest amount in EMI's not more than Rs 3000/-.

                                    The executive and the manager told me that once I make the payment of
                                    minimum amount due for the month of February 2010, all the late fees, interest would be waived off and then only they can turn the whole amount in EMI. Once I make the payment they will get back to me within two days. But nobody got back to me with the details.

                                    This month again I have started getting calls from the collection department. The executive name is Avijit
                                    Banerjee. He calls from the number[protected]. Intially he used to call me 3 -4 times a day and asked for the payment. But off late he is calling me 20 -30 times a day and if I do not response to the call he keeps on calling. He is abusing me and going to the extent of my fore fathers. He uses all kind of vulgar and abusive languages. He has amde comments on my caste.

                                    He has also mention that on my payment his appraisal and incentive is depending hence he will take out the money from me, for that he can go to any extent.

                                    The appartment I stay as a tenant he has called up the neighbour next door and while the gentle man was not home his wife who is bed ridden as she is paralyzed had answered the called , Avijit was not only abusive to this sick and elderly couple, but had threatened them also with dire consequences and was asking money from them also.

                                    He again called me back and said he would be keep calling in this manner and will also called up my office and all the possible contacts he can managed and make my life miserable. He said he will ensure that I am not able to enter my apppartment. He has catergorically said that he has taken it as a personal challenge and will ensure that within 24 hrs my life would be an hell. I would left with only two option which is either to end my life or to walk to him on my knees and begging for forgiveness,

                                    This is not a way somebody should be treated. I am not saying that I am not going to make the payment , Its just that I am not able to pay the huge interest amount right now. Hence want to freeze the amount and pay back in EMI's not more than Rs 300 / month.

                                    Would request you intervention at the earliest and resolve this issue as me and my family is in mental trauma just because of the collection executive Avijit Banerjee calling from the number[protected] from Kolkata Branch.                                     They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

                                    HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                                    That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
                                    They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

                                    They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

                                    *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
                                    *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
                                    *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
                                    *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
                                    *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
                                    * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
                                    *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
                                    *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
                                    *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

                                    Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                                    may be Mr. Bhattacharya was an exceptional in yours words but for your information things are same for me also. I have been conversation with HDFC Creditt card Customer care section for last 8 months From oct'2010 but I m yet to receive a positive reply.

                                    With due respect I beg to inform you that from sources I have come to know that a distant acquaintance of mine, named "Mr. Arindam Sinha" vide PAN: BQEPS8270B and Jurisdiction: WBG/W/149/4 had taken some loan from HDFC Bank (Probably Credit Card) some years back and have not repaid. Some days back he was tried to be contacted from HDFC Bank's collection department (Mr. Vinay probably) over phone asking him about his present residential address which he avoided by misguiding them as he had changed his house after taking the loan without informing the bank to avoid repaying it.

                                      Subject: CASH ON CALL AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD # -- 4050XXXXXXXX7072

                                      This is to inform you that I was informed that my account was credited by loan of CASH ON CALL on my CREDIT CARD Number: 4050XXXXXXXX7072 for amount of 84750 INR.

                                      I had called up your executive and requested to cancel my request. I had also informed your verification call officer and processing officer that I don’t need this amount and kindly reverse the amount which has been credited to my account.

                                      I had received this amount of 84750 INR at 4.00 pm on 20 January 2010. Since that day I am calling at your customer care number and sending regularly mails to your customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com email and requesting for reversals.

                                      I immediately made a call for reversal as soon as the amount was credited to my account. I was told by your executive that it will be done within 04 working days. Now after repetitive calls and mails I did not receive any response from you neither by mails and nor by calls! No one bothered to arrange a call back or even reply by mail. In spite of several follow ups from my own side. I am very much shocked with the poor response for my complaint.. I have been mailing since January 20, 2010 the day my account was credited with the 84750 INR (cash on call)

                                      I was assured on 20 January 2010 itself that the amount shall be reversed within 04 working days back but to my surprise it never happened and I kept complaining and calling your department and requesting your executives to do the reversal at the earliest!

                                      Now more to my surprise yesterday i received a call long back saying that i have to pay the pre-closure fees to reverse this amount. Since day one when the amount was credited to my account, i have been sending emails and making long calls to your credit card department requesting them to reverse this amount which was all in vain.

                                      And now after a month, i have been asked to pay the penalty for the pre-closure of loan. Your representative had a very bad and improper behavior while taking to me on call made today by her which was not acceptable at any norms.

                                      I have been told that the amount could not be reversed as this amount was utilized by me, which is totally incorrect. Just see my account statement and details.

                                      Day 01, January 20th 2010: My account already had 202017 INR and after that 84750 INR was credited to my account. After that day my account was credited with my January Salary and Bonus amount. Your executive gave me the reason for charging me with the penalty was that I had withdrawn any amount due to which the Loan amount was considered as UTILISED.

                                      I had withdrawn the money on 06th February 2010. Your department had time for total 17 days (from 20 January to 06 February) why the amount was NOT reversed during this period, as I had been calling since January 20, 2010 then why the amount was not reversed and why things were NOT communicated by your department.

                                      Now I am tired of requesting mails and making long phone calls, your department never responded and now after one month exactly I am getting calls to pay the penalty for the amount which was credited without my consent and after several follow ups I am asked to pay penalty.

                                      Solve the matter if you can and accept Fault from your end or otherwise cancel my credit card. I have all records / proofs with me of all the mails sent by me since January 20th 2010 to till date as well as all phone calls made by me requesting the reversals.. Your executives and department is mere responsible for this issue which is necessarily created by their fault and negligence and it’s only me who is at losses in terms of MONEY and TIME.

                                      This is my last mail to your credit card department and hence forth I shall NOT take any liability for any dispute arising for any payments to be made unless and until the issue is properly solved.

                                        My card number is [protected] I have payed the total settled amount of Rs.60000/- but I am getting calls for extra payment of Rs.5500/- earleir also I have sent a complaint. A cheque of Rs.6200/- was put in my account which was not issued by me and the cheque was dishonoured I came to know only after the notice fron advocate I conveyed to him that this is not my cheque. I gave a payment of Rs15800/- the balance of the settled amount on 24 feb2010 and there was a entry of Rs. 400/- also which was not paid by me. I dont know who has done it for his/her personnel gain. Iam getting the statement also .I have paid the settled amount so the statement should not come to me neither any call for payment.

                                        I spoke to your Settlement Department I spoke with Aman (office in Rajouri Garden ) as per our conversation we settled the bill and after making the minimum payment he starting ignoring my calls ... People from your recovery department... Call on my landline and use abusive language...I am not scared of them but I dont want to loose my professionalism ...after dealing with you r CCE Mr Aman ...why people from your recovery department come at my place ...Please if you can look into this and can contact me on [protected]
                                        I had HDFC credit card number [protected]. Last year I paid all dues on the card and discontinued it. As per the arrangement all payments were made by cheque. However an HDFC employee lost one of the cheques and we made the payment to him in cash. We still have the receipts for the same. Even delhi court gave the ruling in our favour on it and asked HDFC to issue us a no-issues letter. However just yesterday we recieved another threatning letter from their lawyer stating that we now have to pay over 27000 rs now. How come did a meagre amount of 5000 turned to 27000 we don't know. These miracles happen in the bank only - specialyy when the come calling for someone else's money.

                                        regarding my Card: ( MASTERCARD PLATINUM (credit Card ) A/C Number: [protected]- Date of Expiry: 12/10-- In the name: Abhishek Saxena) For regarding the same I had already inform to bank that I am not able to give money due to heavily financial crises in my family and the same time I had lost my job too which were already brought to everybody’s notice.                                         so in that case I was requested to settle my account which was aprox 1 lac.into 7 EMI. For any how I had pay my 4 EMI up to more than 54 thousand after that I was not pay due to crises as I already mention above.. but they need to realize that it is highly unnecessary if the bank revert back my settled account and every month they charge heavily of interest on that..which is not acceptable.

                                        And also every now and then HDFC bank guys call me in a very danger manner they keep on harrasing me by calling me up.which is not correct as per the RBI guidelines.

                                        At last I request you to pls have a look the RBI Guidelines and take proper action against the HDFC bank otherwise please let me know whom should I escalate this for higher authorities.

                                        I hereby like to draw your kind attention for consideration of the following request. I, Sanjib Koner have a salary savings account with HDFC Bank, City Centre, Durgapur - 713216. Further for your information, I possesed a HDFC credit card vide no. [protected], whose final settlement had already been done on 11.11.2006.
                                        Later, in 2007 I applied for a personal loan which was sanctioned & accordingly, E.M.I. being deducted from my aforesaid account directly. On 01.10.2009, I appealed for top-up of my existing personal loan. To my utter surprise, the personal loan section of the HDFC Bank, City Centre branch, says that, there is a write up prevailing against my credit card. Therefore, to get further sanction of personal loan, the aforesaid write up needs to be omitted first by the respective department.

                                        I enclose herewith both the settlement paper & the money reciept as well for your reference.

                                        Henceforth, please pursue the matter & do the needful at an early date.

                                        They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

                                        HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                                        That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
                                        They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

                                        They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

                                        *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
                                        *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
                                        *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
                                        *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
                                        *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
                                        * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
                                        *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
                                        *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
                                        *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

                                        Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.
