I was acredit card holder of standard chartered/HDFC bank with zero outstanding also recieved a NOC letter from the bank still my name is reflecting in the civil list of bank.Because of this no bank is issusing me a credit card.PLease help me out to remove my name from the civil list of bank.

    Hello,

    I have account with HDFC bank & I have not operated the account from last 2 year,

    When I come to know there is balance of Rs 4700 than I went in bank in Pune, Chinchwad one of employee advised me that, you can request for net banking and you can transfer the fund from HDBC to any other bank, and he filled up one from me



    I received net banking password and when I login that time I do not have fund transfer facility mean this is mistake of HDFC Bank



    So please advise me

    Today 827.00 amount is big amount to salaried person, and it has charged by bank to me - however if bank can charge me Rs 827.00 with out any notice,

    Mean when customer does mistake than bank give financial penelty to customer

    But if In case Bank does mistake will they give financial benifit to customer

    HDFC Bank Saving account — UNFORESEEN DEDUCTION OF RS. 10000/-

    I am having a Saving Account No. [protected] with HDFC Bank. Simultaneously, there was a Personal Loan A/c No. 2757198 which was foreclosed on 24-2-10 vide HDFC Receipt No. 20092192. But on 27th Feb. band has deducted approximately Rs. 10000/- from my above saving account in lieu of that loan account forcibly reason best know to them. Please do favour me in getting my above amount back with interest as many cheques has also be returned unpaid by the Bank being the balance in my account. Sir please look into the matter in the light of justice.

      To whomsoever it may concern,

      i have been using this card for more than 3 years. initially i have applied for payment date as 10th of every month which have never approved. they made my payment date as 1st... so every month i have been paying my late fee till now! till last three months i have made my payments every month.... y last three months including this month is because i have been requesting the telecallers (collection agents) for settlements... they have never bothered to do so for last three months including this month. and moreover for last two months they have been calling my mom and my wife on their direct mobile numbers.. .i really dont know does RBI permit this type of harassment ... .asking a wife about husbands character and telling mom that her son have taken credits from everywhere and also fearing them that they would give police case if the payments are not made.... the only reason y am writing here is because my wife tried to suicide day before yesterday (17th feb) after a collection guy told her that i have my name in cibil which will have effect on my family and my childs future...... can anybody explain who gave authority to do that...also pls suggest if am wrong... the banks forcefully give us all these my training their telecallers and are harassing for payments.... can anybody help in stopping this nonsense... i know d fact that there are so many youngsters who have ended up their life due to this situation... i beg RBI to please get into such things and please dont allow the banks to simply issue credit cards and loans to any tom, dick and harry.... to hdfc bank... please consider this seriously and i want to confirm that am not here to cheat you but i stopped paying because i found ur people cheating me... ... please reply at the earliest... my card number is 4346 **** **20 6281 sujith sudhakaran... please help!

      Hello,

      My name is Ishwayra Kumar and i am from chennai.
      This is regarding the harassment calls that i am getting from HDFC bank credit card devison. I am using this card from about last 9-10 months. Due to the fact that i m the single earning member of my family and my dad has been goingt through dialysis every week, its hard for me to make living as i am always running short of some money. But i make it a point that i always pay my credit card bill, sometimes it might take 4-5 days more to pay it but i make sure i pay it. Lately i have been getting calls from HDFC bank credit card division and these people talk non-sense to me and my father who is struggleing to live.
      I tried to keep my calm few times. But now this is getting beyound my control. This morning one girl called me from HDFC and spoke really non-sense to me and about my father.
      I request the concerned authority to take a look in to this and kindly guide me.

      This is regarding that i am your gold credit card holder . I am using this card from 6-7 months. I say that name is wrong, date of birth and pan no is also wron and i complain it in your costumer care he say that fax in hdfc bank and i send fax my pan card copy and he say your request is in process and my name, date of birth is chage but my pan no is change but there is one mistake in my pan no ( my actual pan no is ALYPA1975H and you change AJYPA1975H so plz change my correct pan no.) so this reason i apply creditcard to creditcard in any bank application is reject so i request to you that plz correct my pan no.

      My name is Anupama Singh,
      I am using HDFC bank gold card from last 1 Year & i am regularly Paying my amount but due to some technical problem i was not abale to withdraw money from ATM as a result i was not able to pay one month amount . Now i am getting calls from HDFC credit card depatment, Hyderabad, i just dont understand that how HDFC takes uneducated people in their bank, they dont understand anything, they dont listen anything & they keeping on talking. Really very sad they dont know how to deal with customers. They behave in this that by giving credit cards they are doing social work & they dont charge anything.For evey reason HDFC is charging money then why they speak when payment is littile bit delayed, late fee is also charged and we have to listen of these guys.
      I want concerend person to take a suitable action on this. In future i am not going to use any product of HDFC. I request you to kindly educate your employees how to deal with customers.
      I hold a credit card and had swiped it for Rs. 15000/-. Every month I had been paying only the interest. Now this is the stage wherein I cnt afford to pay the interest. I spoke to them telephonically that I am ready to do the settlement wherein they said it can be done only in the next month. They wanted me to make immediate payment of Rs. 800/- which I am not able to. When I told about me not having funds to pay now, they started harassing me by talking rudely and so on. And also they are ringing at my work place and threatening the office people. Upon which, I am answerable to them. They were told that this is her personal problem, you speak to her personally but they do not listen nd spoke to the operator very rudely.

      My official life is getting disturbed. Please help
      I see that a lot of people are facing harassment from hdfc.
      someone keeps calling my 85 yr old father and harassing him. this is ridiculous behaviour..

      I am use the hdfc credit card last three years, without any problem but back 6th feb-09 have a our card in my pocket still we have rcv the msg fm hdfc "you have make the transjuction 45000.00 ( by 15000.00 in three time") that now we immidiate call to customer care there Ms. Sania told him " don't worry sir! what ever is online fault yet she is as per my will card is blocked it". Then after some day we have rcv the call fm hdfc card division that u will given the complain letter then ur issue will be solve within 30 day. That same we will be write the letter & drop the hdfc letter box. After a various processor we have rcvd many time call fm the bank for related fraud transjuction. And next stage by the baank my account is hold & direct debit the 3770.00 fm my saving account without any information. They will press me that pay ur outstanding while no any oustaing my. Then after fine month we have rcv a call fm hdfc credit cared Mr. Sandeep Pandy, " They told me pls u pay the only 3100.00 & ur issue will be closed immidieat.
      This is regarding that i am your gold credit card holder . I agreed to go for settlement to close my Credit Card. Also i agreed to negotiate with the settlement amount. Im on the way to accomplish this process. whereas, im NOT getting proper information from them they are really unprofessional staff working in HDFC Credit Card Department from Kolkata. They are totally unprofessional, does not know how to communicate in English. im really worried about this. I want concern person to take a suitable action on this. . I request you to kindly educate your employees how to deal with customers & please recruit PROFESSIONAL people to work.
      Hi, my number is [protected]. I think that the mentioned number was earlier used by some individual who is a defaulter in HDFC bank credit cards. I received some collection calls from HDFC. I have clearly briefed them that i was not aware of any such individual and requested them not to disturb me further. In spite of clear explanation, i am still receiving multiple calls and when i burst out of anger due to continuous calls, the telecallers are making fun of me in groups. Due to the continuous calls, i was forced to take the mobile while driving and ended up in accident. I sincerely request to take it up with the respective authorities and provide me a solution along with compensation for pushing me for accident expenses. The ph no's are 61040200 & 61003050.

      3. I had already surrendered my CARD of your bank by paying up all your Dues ------by 10/8/2004.

      A person with name Shalender Tiwari, Phone no. [protected] is calling me continusily claming that he is from HDFC Bank and i have outstanding of more than one lakh on my credit card. he has shown me credit card statements which does not contain any address or any other information which could match with my details. I have show him my original pan card, and my passport to verify my identity. still he is threatning me and my family members to pay for the unknown person. when i asked him to address and id proof of the person, he refused compleately. More over, he is also calling other persons with whome i have done transactions through my bank account and asking them for my personal information like DOB, Father's Name etc. He is even thretning them also to make the payment. I am having this account from past 7 Years and have very good record. I have called HDFC Bank Coustomer Care cell to validate my details registered with them and not even a single details matched. He is not ready to accept his mistake.

      I also have credit card linked with this account and its payment status is also on time from past 7 years. Please help me as he is calling me again and again and harssing me by calling my friends and relatives.

        Dear Sir

        Iam Using HDFC credit card for so long , i was admitted in the hospital for an surgery on 1feb2010 and got discharged by 06/02/2010 so i couldnt able to make this month Payment . Today i recieved the call from HDFC collection department ([protected])one of the lady staff spoke to me very rudely in unparlimentry language i was so insulted ,

        They are not even bother to understand my situation and did not listen my words .

        I would request you to address my grievences .

        HDFC customer service has been behind my life for just 200/- stating that I defaulted, talking to me in high pitched tone. I have been called more than 35 times in a single day by a male customer executive demanding 200/- else “being ready to face dire consequences”. I admitted my mistake and I clearly told that I have asked one of my friends to make the payment through his HDFC savings account but it would take 24 hours for my name to reflect as a beneficiary but HDFC customer service executive kept calling me and asking for payment. Despite telling that I was in office and in client meetings I kept getting calls at my residence as well as personal # innumerable times from the same executive more than 10 times in a single hour!!! The reason he had is to achieve his collection targets before 31st Dec but is that my mistake that it takes 24 hours for my name to reflect??? I have started the needful since I got the first call but HDFC customer service doesn’t have the time even for this automated process!!!

        And it’s not a default, it’s just that while making the payment I made a payment of Rs 200 less and it got delayed as my savings bank account ICICI has withdrawn the facility of making online payments to other credit cards. Even if I make a fault, I understand that and would have gladly paid the late payment or any such fee…. But HDFC customer service executive’s behavior was totally uncalled for.

        After I gave the reference # of the transaction and I was complaining of pathetic customer service, HDFC executive is not even interested in listening and just hangs up and rather calls me up from a different # and blasts me back asking me "Who the hell are you? who the hell gave me a credit card and where am i working and he will take care of me etc etc"

        This transaction has been a test of my patience for just 200/- . I have been treated as if I defaulted by some 2 million rupees and ran away cheating the bank.

        Is this how HDFC customers are treated? If for 200 Rupees I am supposed to get treated like a criminal on the run from cops, I don’t think it’s worth the association!

        The transaction details are as attached and the reference # is 1184A1 and I want to escalate this as I didn’t expect this kind of treatment for 200 Rupees from a reputed bank like HDFC. I hope some action will be taken against the customer service executive.

          During my last visit to KOLKATA in 3rd week of December'2009 I had applied to increase my loan amount to Rs 8 lacs from 6 lacs in my loan account no.[protected] in your Branch office in Tribeni Market, Garia , Kolkata-84. Out of 8 lacs an amount of Rs 5.73 lacs was for paying the balance amount to builder and remaining amount of Rs 2.27 lacs was to be paid to me towards refund of self payment to builder. I had submitted my latest salary slip and bank statement of salary account of that period. Because of lengthy official formalities in getting a loan sanctioned from HDFC LTD. and because of my time constraint to stay in KOLKATA it could not be possible by HDFC LTD to carry out final disbursement in my LOAN ACCOUNT NO.[protected],[protected] &[protected] inspite of my earnest request to the dealer Mr Santabhanu Gupta and Branch Manager Mr. Sandeep Bajaj. Today when contacted Mr Santabhanu Gupta over telephone I have come to know that enhancement of amount in my loan account no.[protected] has not yet been sanctioned. Once again I have been asked to submit latest salary slip and bank statement for the same.In course my service in Railway I stay in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.It becomes very difficult for me to arrange leave to come to Kolkata because of work load in office. The flats are ready for occupation. Many occupants have started residing in other flats in the same building. In another case of loan to some Mr. Sen in the same building final payment has been done by your same Branch office of Tribeni Market, Garia , Kolkata-84. But in my case it is being delayed. The builder is pressing hard for making final payment. I promised him to make final payment in the month of December'2009. But i failed to do so because of delay by HDFC LTD. Finally I promised him to make final payment in the month of March'2010. Again I will send my latest salary slip and bank statement of salary account by post to your Branch office in Tribeni Market, Garia , Kolkata-84. Somehow I will arrange leave from office for two weeks and will stay in Kolkata during the period from 15/03/2010 to 24/03/2010. You are requested to be prepared to make final disbursement in my LOAN ACCOUNT NO.[protected],[protected] &[protected] during this period.

          I was apply a Housing loan on 1st nov 10. through your rourkela agent Mr. kamal agarwal with necessary document. After accepting my application from your side your representative visiting my Resident. Some days back I got a e-mail from bank that your loan has been sanctioned. I also got sanction letter.But till date nobody has contacted me for final disbursrment.i have contacted Mr.SAHU ofBHUBNESWER.He told me that my representative will contact you at rourkela for the remainin formalities.But till nobody came to meet me.if possible kindly do needfull.

            Sub: HDFC credit card depute for misuse


            Dear Sir
            I Nitesh Kumar had a HDFC credit card around 19 months ago when I worked with a broking house in Faridabad, post blocking and destroying it I have closed my salary account with HDFC with which I was given this card. Now after such a long a time someone from Delhi Rajaori garden HDFC bank called to my father's number which I updated with the bank during availing a credit card saying that I have some amount overdue on the card which I need to repay, now one thing which I fail to understand is that when I am working in Andhra Pradesh for last 1.5 years and I have no reason whatsoever that I can go to Delhi as my whole existence is here in AP how could such a thing take place. It clearly show the lacsity that the bank has towards the customer request.

            When I called to the call center guys they again confirmed the card is blocked and said that I can file a dispute case for this as I don't hold the card also don't have the number of it. But someone in Delhi is using my card post destruction and blocking of the same, this is an high degree of integrity issue, request you to kindly look to this matter very seriously. As I do not remember the card number I have mentioned the mobile numbers.

            Kindly resolve this issue and have a verification done for the same.

                hi on 12th feb 2010 i got CALL from hdfc bank credit card billing dept. the phone no was[protected] and i was talking to a girl called MINAL. she asked me about my credit card billed n i said i have not yet received it so she said she will mail me the statement... i said ok... then on the next day means on 13th feb 2010 i got a call from the same no n it was a same girl... i told her that i will do it today by afternoon then she told me that today is saturday. so i told her that ya i know it is saturday but in my home branch i know people so they allow me to enter from back gate... she said ok and kept the phone... it was my bad luck that on the same day my best friend got a slipdisk attack n we haded to sdmitt her immediately so i got so busy in that, that i forgot about this payment.... on the 17th feb 2010 i got a call from the same no n it was the same girl... i picked up the phone and she started abusing on me.... then i told her that i want to talk to her senior she refused to give the phone to her senior...then i cut the phone but again that girl called n started abusing ... icut the phone again but then she called at my residential no. n started abusing my parents. she started threatning them that keep your bags packed i m sending people and all the crap ... my mom told her to call on resedential no.... then my mom informed me about this phone called then i called hdfc customer care n informed them about that abusive phone called n told them your company cannot disrespect me or my parents. if i am not doing your payment send my case to legal dept and let them take action on me.... but your billing dept. dosent have a rights to disrespect any of their customer .. then the y took my complained but stil i got tthe call from same no ...i made 4 times complained but that girl MINAL kept calling me... finally i did the payment... then it stopped ... is there any kind of way to complained about these kind of people... i am so mad this girl that if she comes in front of me i will kill her coz she abused on my parents.... ps help or suggestion in this .. if i have to complained about this case what do i do ?

                Credit card is a throat slitter guys.. dont use it better...

                  I have a HDFC Bank Savings Account, and never had a Credit Card in my life. Suddenly I found my account balance has been reduced to zero. I visited the Bank and they said only the Telephonic customer support can be contacted. On contacting the customer support they said that the money has been kept hold by the Credit Card department. After 2 days, a person from the Credit Card department called me and said I had a Credit Card issued under my name and they will deduct all the money from my account. I said that I never had a credit card under my name, but they were not listening. I don't know what action to be taken now. I have made a complaint email to HDFC Bank also, for which I have got no response.

                  Not only they have taken my money, they have threatened that they will take money further. This is giving me sleepless nights and I am suffering from mental agony. Please guide me on what should be done now to stop this.

                    when i took the loan my salarid account was in citibank some EMI had debit from Citi account and after that my new accont has opend in HDFC Bank Limited in Gugraon,when my account has opened in HDFC,I have inform to my Citi bank that my all ECS debit should be stoped and infrom to respacted banks.so citi bank had inform to all.
                    my all ECS debit has been stopped from my citibank account near about in month of april or may 2008,but HDFC bank unnessessory hit my Citi Account to debit loan EMI ruppes 2731 only,but we have infrom you to hdfc bank also regarding my ECS Stoping.but Till date no action taken from HDFC and continue Hit the ECS to My citibank account.
                    over that I am regular pay from cheque for this EMI.

                    Personal Loan — Over charge

                    To,
                    Manager Customer Service,
                    HDFC (Personal Loan Division).
                    Kolkata.

                    Ref: Personal loan id is 11339118.
                    Subjetc : HDFC has deducted personal loan EMI both by Cash and ECS. Cash receipt no is 16513950.

                    Please note I have been charged by HDFC twice for the same charge and they have informed me of some outstanding amount which has not been intimated to me earlier.

                    I have received a call from HDFC on 5/5/09 and immediately I have advised them to collect cash from my house as I am traveling presently. No one was sent.
                    I received a call again on 12/05/09 saying my ECS has bounced and they were again advised to collect cash from my house the next day. Errand id no 91667 was sent on 15/5/09 to pick up cash and he collected same and provided receipt for sum of Rs.11377.
                    On 18/5/09 I found out from my bank account that a sum of Rs.11377 was debited by ECS. I did call HDFC immediately and they confirmed to have received the ECS amount but the cash receipt was not reflecting in their system till then and advised me to call after an hour.
                    I called back on 19/05/09 (next day) and they again reconfirmed me that they have received ECS and no cash update has still been reported yet, and advised me to call back after 3 working days.

                    On 22/5/09 (today) I called up again and they confirmed to have received the double payment both by ECS and cash for this month for an amount of Rs. 11377. But to my surprise they advised only rupees seven thousand (approximate) is reimbursable by the bank and liable me for some outstanding charges. (They are claiming to have two thousand (approximate) as my outstanding amount.)
                    I have no idea of this outstanding amount.
                    Never have I been told about this before nor have I received any written document informing regarding same from HDFC personal loan.
                    Moreover when collection department has collected money from me in past they have never spoken on outstanding amount of any sort.
                    Secondly most importantly they informed me that ECS has bounced which is far from reality.

                    I take this behaviour from HDFC personal loan division as misconstrue of facts and misappropriation of funds and will be compelled to file legal proceedings on same.

                    I urge you to take this matter for utmost seriousness.
                    I will wait for 48 hours from delivery of this letter after which my lawyer will be sending communications formally for legal proceedings.

                    HDFC Bank has some serious problems. Wish to list some of them.

                    1. The employees believe the processes are the goal and not means to achieve a goal for eg. Customer satisfaction etc. The funny thing is that they are proud of their idiotic processes designed by somebody who has never ever worked in a bank, sales or customer service.
                    2. It looks like they got some cheap ATMs. seems to be the type of bank HDFC Bank is Bargain Hunters. Their ATMs look like World War II surplus stuff. Your ATM/Debit Card enters the slot like your favourite relative's body is being swallowed in an electric crematorium. Not sure if my card would come out whole again. Very slow, tedious interface. To make up for the cheap stuff they have bought they now have a quick Rs. 15, 000 only option.
                    3. Their account opening form has a size that I have not seen since my Grand dad retired from the Indian Railways in the 50s. Try sticking your photo (because this outdated bank wants you to sign across the photograph) and then fold the form to mail it or hand deliver it.
                    4. If you are an NRI and want to open an account for somebody who is physically not present, they intitally ask the person for whom the account is being openened for to self attest address and identity copy. After doing that they want a letter from the person that he has attested the copies. ( Inmates running the asylum).
                    5. In Phone Banking you can get a new check book delivered to the validated address on your account with Customer ID, Address, Account Number and Debit Card with PIN. If you offer to use the ATM Card with PIN instead it cannot be done. The idiotic Supervisor was trying to explain to me the difference between an ATM Card and Debit Card whilst I was trying to explain to him that from a validation perspective there was no difference between the ATM Card and Debit Card as far as getting a Check Book sent to a validated address.
                    6. If they send a peon to your home to get a New Check Book request form to be signed and collected from you, they still need you give them an attested copy of your PAN Card, all this to accept a new check book request for getting a check book mailed to a validated address on your account.
                    7. Call their Phone Banking you will know what a cheap, clumsy design they have on their phones. Basically they have created a multilingual Voice Mail Jungle and have clearly not conducted any user testing.
                    8. If you operate an online account with them, they force you to change your password every three months. This bank is run by amateurs who have no clue on how to implement security without screwing up customer service. I have a Citibank account with the same password for over 20 years now.
                    9. By the way HDFC BANK ATMs do not have an expiry date. Ignore what is printed on the ATM. If you are an NRI and are visiting India for a let us say a week or so and would like your damaged (visually, but still usable) ATM card replaced, God help you. HDFC Bank will first block your existing card and then take your request for ordering a new card. The logical way to handle this would have to take the request for a new card, deliver it and when the new ATM card is activated the old one automatically dies. With the way HDFC operates it now, you will be left without an ATM Card for perhaps 2 weeks till such time your new card arrives.
                    10. There are some poorly paid Einsteins at HDFC Bank who have no clue on how to improve efficiencies and customer service at this Bank. They will gleefully tell you they have deviced "Foolproof Processes" to protect you and the Bank. It is amazing how the rest of the poorly paid mafia explain this stupidity away as "This is a government requirement".

                      Sir/Madam,

                      I have been upgraded by HDFC Bank to Platinum Plus Card No. [protected] in November 2009 and since then I have been trying to get the same activated. I have sent them written requests through fax on 1/02/2010 and till date the same is noty activated. Due to this I have been ridiculed while trying to use the card and finding the same declined on 5 occassions during this time which has seriously damaged my credibility.

                        Hi, Iam Abhishek singh ...right now working with HCL Technologies Noida.Iam really pissed off with bad service of HDFC Bank.On 12th of Feb'2010 i tried to withdraw 2000 rs from ATM of Standard Chartered bank in my office. But it didn't release even a single peny saying "Due to slower performance not able to process transaction" and debited my 2000 rs..giving this message. I immediately lodged complain twice to which HDFC debited 25rs per complain. However, they are still not able to find the reason for that wrong debit and get my money back to my account.I think i should quit from HDFC because my company also has option of Stan C bank but before that i would complain to Police and lodge FIR against HDFC.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am writing in to bring some ECS related issue in your notice what I am dealing with HDFC Bank for last 10 days. You might wonder what might happen in only 10 days making me lodging this complain. The fact is I had asked 'Bajaj Finance' to get the premium for some loan amount (i had taken for two wheeler purchase) through ECS facility on my HDFC Account. BAFL (Bajaj Auto Finance Limited) placed the ECS on 8 Feb and it was stopped by Bank. Reason stated to BAFL is 'Payment stopped by Drawer' whereas I never asked Bank to stop that. Now BAFL is asking me to pay Rs. 350 as penalty whereas I am not guilty.

                          From then after I am trying to get the reason from different bank sources like Phone Banking, different branches (one close to my residence 'Airoli Branch, Navi Mumbai' and the other close to my office 'Vikhroli West Branch, Mumbai') etc to understand who has done mistake for this. While calling phonebanking I had been misguided earlier saying that payment stopeed by BAFL itself and then when I informed the reason shown to drawing party they started talking in a different tone - could be some system problem, talk to base branch.

                          For your information I am staying in Mumbai for last 4 and half years and base branch is in Kolkata. There are already other loans what I took in past from HDFC Bank itself and the premium amount is getting deducted every month through ECS only, and never got disturbed, obviously because it's their own product.

                          Coming back to main discussion track, phone banking people also informed that they raised some complain on the basis of my enquiry on high priority which takes 7 days to get resolved excluding weekends - another ridiculous process. Everyday I call them, a different person receives to whom I need to explain the problem details and he or she comes with the same solution - it takes 7 days time (although 5 days already gone). Also when I am talking to bank officials of different branches as I already mention - Airoli branch manager ask me to get some memo from BAFL for details of bounce and other investigations what he says I am responsible to carry out. Vikhroli branch officials saying it is lying with base branch, talk to them. I also written one letter as per their instruction and they still saying it is not replied with relevant information.

                          Now the fact is not about 350 rupees rather the harassment the Bank is doing with me for just giving a small piece of information. I simply asked them there is one transaction (ECS stop payment) in my account statement, show me the reason. What on earth can take that amount of time to get that info whereas they refer their bank is one of the very finest highly integrated modern times bank?

                          I am informing these detail not only for getting my problem solved, but I know this will happen to other people as well. Please do help stopping these kind of harassments bank doing to customers.

                              Dear Sir,

                              The issue is as under:

                              1. I have deposited with HDFC Mutual fund - Rs.10000 on 15th Feb 2002 vide cheque No.0760737 dated 15/2/2 drawn on HDFC Bank . Cheque is debited to my bank Account.
                              2. HDFC Mutual Fund has acknowledged the receipt as has shown in their Accounts Statement.

                              3. HDFC Mutual Fund have regularly paid me dividend.

                              4. Suddenly on 15th Jan 2010 ( after 8 years), they are showing reversal of this entry saying cheque is dishonoured. This can be seen in the Accounts Statement from HDFC Mutual Fund.

                              5. The entry is illegal, unethical and a breach of trust by HDFC Mutual Fund with their investor. Seems to be a fraudulent entry to deny my deposit. HDFC Mutual fund has not returned my cheque, obviously there is no dishnour of cheque as such.

                              6. To put salt on my wound, now I am getting telephonic calls for refund of dividend paid to me.

                              Request for immediate restoration of original entry in HDFC Mutual Fund Records and refund of my deposit as I lost my trust on HDFC Mutual Fund with their action. My e-mail complaints to hdfc mutual fund went unresponded

                              Thanks a lot for taking up my grievances with them.

                                  I have hdfc credit card [protected] , which i was using long back & had made payment.

                                  But in Sept 09 i got call from your side stating that just pay the min amount of Rs.1400/- & give a written application for settling the card with current outstanding. Receipt no 18698017 dtd 10/09/09 collected by authorised collection agency HEM. the payment & letter i had handed over to Mr Vivek Bansode and told we will close the card, same this happened in Oct 09 , bank employee called up & said same that again you pay the min amount due & we will close the card.
                                  I got no call from your side in november directly i am getting call in month end of Dec 09 by Prakash Telecaller sitting at Cybernex Swargate branch, that you have to pay again min due, i told him i have already applied for settlement what has happened with the same, he said you first pay this amount then we will release the account & then only we can do settlement.
                                  Every time i am attending there call & asking for lesser amount of settlement I personally had gone to your branch at cybernex Swargate. I met Arpana choudhary , even after telling her that i am behind this closure of card since 6 months ,that time the outstanding was 18000/-. & also shown her the written application given to bank employee with the receipt no, then also she is not agreeing
                                  I gave the application with an acknowledgement copy, I was waiting for the offer since then, but getting no reverts, only in month end i use to get calls from collection wherein they told you pay a minimum amount & then they will close, i was in impression that the card will be closed, but since sept every month i am getting calls, when i am asking about my application your employees are not even concern about the application given.

                                  Is it my fault that i personally handed over the application to your employee as i have intension of paying the amount due. But since 6 months i am getting no response
                                  Instead of giving the request to your representative in advance then also they are not even bother about the closure.

                                  And suddenly your people call up in month end & tell an amount for closure which is not even possible, when i was ready to close the card before 6 months, your people didnt even have a courtesy to honor the application. Due to your people's miscommunication , I have to bear the interest for 6 months. You tell me in any banking sector if customer is directly approaching your representative by mode of phone, walking in branch or dropping a request, the request is not processed.

                                  does it takes six months to honour the request - written application, wherein your person has duly signed the application as accepted. I have the copy of it.

                                  I have the copy of the letter issued on 10 th sept 09 along with receipt.
                                  Again i gave application on 30/12/09 receipt no 20214412 Rs. 1600/- to Roshan . Person name prakash said he will settlement offer on 1st Jan 10, i received no calls, on 23rd Jan 10 i m getting a call from a lady she said i have to pay Rs 28000 against settlement.

                                  I was shocked coz even after paying every time, still the due is Rs.28000/-

                                  Ms Khan was following up with me in feb 10 regarding my card settlement. She has communicated me the settlement offer of Rs 26500/- in 5 installments.

                                  But i am unable to pay as I am totally drenched in debts due to my other obligations , wherein i dont want to give you false commitment of payments, I am arranging some amount but it is not upto your settlement amount.

                                  Ms Khan had given me the option of giving PDC but to tell you frankly i dont have sufficient balance in my account wherein i can honour your PDC.
                                  I dont want to default by giving false commitment to you & Ms Khan. I have no problem in giving you cheques, but what is the use if there is no balance in that account.

                                  I also explained this condition to Ms Khan. I am ready to pay Rs 26500/- with installment of Rs. 1000/- per month.

                                  They are not accepting my request so i asked them to do a legal case against me as i am unable to pay any more amount they are not even ready for that

                                  I AM USING HDFC BANK GOLD CREDIT CARD SINCE 2003, IN THE YEAR 2008 BANK HAD LIENED RS 11, OOO APPROX FROM MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT AT HDFC BANK, AND TO MY UTMOST SURPRISE IN THIS MONTH BANK HAD LIENED MY FIXED DEPOSIT AMOUNTING RS 70000/- WHAT TO DO??
                                  Sir,
                                  I have applied for closure and surrender of my Credit Card (No. [protected]) from HDFC Bank, Shillong Branch on 10.9.2010 and removal of Lien from Fixed Deposit (FD No. [protected]) against which the Credit Card had been issued so that I can withdraw my FD. When contacted the HDFC Bank Customer Care on 15.9.2010, I was told that I can withdraw my FD on 17.9.2010. Again, when I called the Customer Care on 17.9.2010, I was again told by the Customer executive that it will be done by 20.9.2010 (Monday). Inspite of my request to them to do it early as I need cash urgently, still the HDFC Credit Card Department don’t bother to understand my financial difficulties and to remove the lien from the FD so that I can withdraw the cash.
                                  This is purely a harassment to me and I am really frustrated and if the HDFC Bank still don’t want to allow me to surrender the credit card and withdrawal of my FD, I will have no option but to complaint the matter of the case to Banking Ombudsman and also to seek legal option.

                                  Dear Madam / Sir,

                                  My Credit Card No. [protected] which is settled in the month 01/12/2011 of Rs.6065/- through you HDFC Pune I have give the cheque to your officaial person and it has been honoured by the bank. But again HDFC (Bank) send me balance amount why?

                                  I complain Pune (Office) they told me your Date of Birth is not correct as per our record so we cant give you any reply. I requested them that according to my Pan card and all documents my birthdate the same as ihave told you but no response. I have received a satement for a amount of Rs 973 . 00 in which they have charged a late fee of Rs. 350 =00

                                  So please check the detail and close the account of balance as early as possible.

                                    i am anurag mishra. iam employee of hdfc bank ltd in sec-26 branch noida,uttar pradesh.my employ code is CA23740.I am working there as a CSE(contract sales exexutive).My sales manager is Mr Krishna solanki and my team manager is Mr pankaj.i am join this bank on 19 th dec 2009.But after joining i suffer various problem from my manager and my team manager.They donot ready open my salary account.They show me various unconditional and meningless reason.But some my collegue whose join with me have open there salary account.But i am working there sincerely and give 2 saving account,But in return they donot give me any support to opening of my salary account.And last when i force them to open my account they force me to regined.When i donot regined then they sent mail of expond(absence) in my duty to the head office without any prior notice on 30 th jan.But they can told me about thsi on 5 th feb.At last i can give regined.But i am not get my salary yet now.I sent this mail to complaint against my Sales Manager Mr krishna solanki..I think you can take action against these.

                                      This is just to inform you that I had applied for a "Two Wheeler loan form CBOP(Centurian Bank Of Punjab). The same was sanctioned on my name"SHANTANU CHAKRABORTY" on 21 Feb 2007 subject to 30% cash down.

                                      In the mean time CBOP was accquired by HDFC Group. My payment module was ECS through my saving account of Allahabad Bank, south sinthee branch Kolkata bearing the No. SB [protected].

                                      For the same all the 36 EMI has been made without any bounce till 11/1/2010. I failed to recieve my LAN No. as well as welcome letter despite of several visit to the branch.

                                      Therefor you are requested to advice so that I can apply for my NOC.

                                        Below is the email detail which i have sent to HDFC bank on 29 Dec with attachment.Same hard copy of this letter was given to Hdfc bank on 29 dec at Nariman Point in Mumbai

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I Mr. Anil Mhatre holding credit card No-[protected], would like to inform you that there were 2 transactions amounting a total of Rs.[protected] towards Kingfisher and 4000 for Book my show tickets) on my credit card yesterday which was not actioned by me.

                                        I would also like to inform you that I am also liable to receive SMS for any transactions done on my card. But I had not received any message for the transaction done for Rs. 11529 at 4: 45 pm, I had only received an SMS for the transaction of Rs. 4000 which was done at 21:20. It was only after the receipt of this message that I called your call center and was also informed about the earlier transaction of Rs. 11529. At the same time I have immediately locked the usage of my card.

                                        Kindly look into the matter, as the transactions are not pertaining to me and the payment for the same will not be done by me.

                                        If I do not find these transactions being settled by your side I would like to surrender my credit card as I don’t think it is safe for me to use a credit card of such a bank were there is no security in the usage of same.

                                        Thank you for revert.

                                        Just to inform you that I am a HDFC credit card member for the last 3-4 years and I have never defaulted on the payment. In spite me informing you that I have not done the below 2 transactions, you are asking me for the payment. I don’t understand this. I guess you have your investigating teams in place. Please ask them to investigate this matter as I have complained on the same date i.e.28 dec. and I was in my office on that day. I can forward you my attendance details if you need so.

                                        I will surrender my card if you again insist on payment. You can levy as many as charges as you want. I will not make any payment.
                                        If you could have investigated this matter from 28 Dec. itself you could have found out by now as the guilty was supposed to use the services on Book My Show for 31 December which I checked with the vendor and informed Priya in your investigating team.

                                        Again the flight ticket was booked for 29 Dec. In spite of me informing you why you did not take any action on 28 dec.? The person traveled on 29 Dec. which I checked with Kingfisher and informed Priya. I received a call from HDFC bank only after 3 days???This is not accepted. Don’t you guys understand the meaning of Fraud?
                                        Why it took you all 3 long days to contact me???? We could have resolved the matter on 28 itself and could have got hold of the culprit.

                                        Just for your info, when we lodge complaint for fraud with other banks, action is taken on that day itself. You can check with the other banks offering credit cards.
                                        Why you took 3 days to call me???? And now asking for payment????

                                        I WILL NOT PAY A SINGLE PENNY FOR IT !!!!!

                                        HDFC Bank Credit Card — debit of Re.1 from credit card

                                        I got a message today that a transaction of Re.1 has been made from my credit card at Bangalore to some dummy mer retail. But I have not made any physical transaction neither I have shared my password with anyone and also I am in Kolkata so it is not possible that I make a transaction from Bangalore. I think something fishy or a racket kind of a thing is going on in HDFC bank. I request the Reserve Bank of India to kindly look into this matter and sort this out. This is a very serious issue and should be looked into immediately.
