This is to inform you that I am holding a HDFC credit card for the last 4 years.

Recivery agents of HDFC Bank Kolkata (contact no : [protected] & [protected] & [protected]) is threatening me repeatedly and he is behaving very rudely.He is using different rough language & entertaining in personal things.

Also he is calling to my office boss, neighbours even more than 20 times per day so that i am afraid of loosing my job. He is not telling his name also.

I have also informed HDFC Bank customer care through email and phone..But still there is no result atall..

I would like to request you to kindly do the needful so that i can get rid of these embarrasing situation.

HDFC Credit Card — Harrashing by calling again & again & threatning

I am Sumit,using credit card of HDFC Bank.I have not Payed the payment of April & May-2010.Collection Department of Kolkata (contact no : 44053628 &[protected] is threatning me to to give the payment immediately As i request him to collect the total due Payment for the Month of April & May 2010 on the Next Month. But he is behaving very rude and forcing me for the Payment.He is using different rough language & entertaining in personal things.

Please,do the needfull,he is really Harrashing by calling again & again.
He should know how to behave with a customer.Beacuse of his monthly target he forget to repect the customer.

I have not Payed the payment of April & May-2010 because of my grandfather illness.Collection Department of Kolkata (contact no : 44053628 & 66223800 &[protected] is threatening me to to give the payment immediately As i request him that i try to arrange the payment next month. But he is behaving very rude and forcing me for the Payment.He is using different rough language & entertaining in personal things.Also he calls to my office more than 20 times per day so that i can loose my job. Also He also dont tell his name.

This is my new job.So if i loose my job then it is not possible for me to pay you any more.

Please,do the needfull,he is really Harrashing by calling again & again and also threatning me.

He should know how to behave with a customer.Beacuse of his monthly target he forget to repect the customer.

That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers. They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and write off in cibil.

They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

Harassing by calling again & again and also threatening me by HDFC recovery agent

Recovery agents Mr.Abhijit Banerjee of HDFC Bank Kolkata (contact no: [protected] & [protected]) is threatening me repeatedly and he is behaving very rudely. He is using different rough language & badly entertaining in personal things.

Also he is calling to my land line no, even more than 5 times per day so that i am afraid of loosing my family life.

      Dear Sir/Madam

      I (P. Dhanunjaya) have taken a home loan in HDFC Bank, Vellachery Branch. The Builder (Balaji Constructions not registered ) and loan facilitator have the tie-up. The loan facilitator explain that they will scrutinized the documents and they have own employees of HDFC bank to monitor the site and they will look into the construction phases. The Builder constructing the apartment as his own fashion, extended the building front, back, left and right side and raising the construction area and taking the money. The builder constructed other apartment and occupied our land. As AKDR Golf court management warned him so he gave 2 feet to there compound wall. Previously he started construction on the compound wall. Without pillars one side he is constructed. I have informed to the bank people, but there is no use, they have not taken any action against this issue. without pillar on the top constructed the water tank.
      The builder made the agreement, in that there is no liability on him, every thing all liabilities with the customers he made it. This information is we asked him to change, the bank facilitator Mr Sahul given the guarantee, he will make another agreement and this time please make sign on this to disabuse the amount first time. If I complaint they have not taken any action against him or builder. The technical manager of HDFC is not at all visiting the site and monitoring. There are no standards at all. The builder, the Technical Manager and loan facilitator altogether cheating the customers and making the money.
      I request you people provide me Justice from this Builder and HDFC home loan officials syndicate.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have applied Housing Loan on 27th May'10 for purchasing a resale property, which located in chennai. I have produced all necessary documents well in advance as required to ease out last minute process.
      Housing loan divsion - Chennai, sent a mail on 4th June'10 to clear doubt on the credit card delayed payment which is reflecting in "CIBIL". According to their request I have got a confirmation mail from the concern bank stating that there is no outstanding.

      This has been communicated to loan division on 11th June'10 and called on 14th June'10 to know the status of my loan application, after I calling to the customer care, then they are checking for a mail and replied no such mail was received, again I have forwarded the same mail to customer care and told them to confirm me in couple of days about the progress.

      However, there is no reply from anyone and I have called on18th June'10 to know the status, then they are telling me my loan application was rejected due to my name still reflecting in "CIBIL" even I have cleared all my dues and I got confirmation mail from concern bank.

      if I am a defaulter then it could be a fair reason for not considering my application, however, I have cleared all my dues and want to be a fair enough, still your bank considering me as a "Convicted" Person.

      I am really upset with these kind of services render by the bank which brings mental agony and depression.

      I request you to consider my application and give me justice.

        I am the customer of HDFC bank.I have been the member of credit card services since past one and a half years and in october. This year I found that 7650/- has been debited from my account of one policy which was imposed upon me without my consent & notice by the bank.

        It will not be out of place to mention here that I have made several telephonic calls to your bank's call centers but no proper & satisfactory reply has been given by banking authorities till now.

        It is my humble request that the amount of Rs.7650/-is wrongly debited from my account Account no-[protected] should be credit immediately .Please.

          This is with reference to HDFC bank credit card [protected].
          I was using this credit card long time back and Bank paid my Electricity Bills without informing me worth Rs. 10870 (which was overvalued in actual that point of time). I also paid my electricity bills by cheque becuase o[censored]navailibilty of information that bank has given me smart pay facility. hence my electricity bills was double paid for which I have never got any compensation.

          In the same month (november'2005) i shopped for 2000 Rs. extra from the credit card and same I paid and cancelled the credit card.

          I also requested bank to show me the Signature for opting the smart pay facility (if I have made somewhere on the Credit card application form) but the same has not been shown till now. I also requested bank to cancel the wrong charges levied on my credit card statements but no action has been taken so far by bank in this regard.

          Bank is mentally harrassing me on the ground of non payment of dues which actually not a fault of mine since then.

          I am seriouslly getting disturbed whenever somebody call me and give me a threat for this.

          I am really looking for your help. Please help me how can i take this forward and get this resolved asap.

              RECENTLY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM HDFC BANK STATING FOLLOWING:::

              Important message for Savings account customers

              # The number of transactions in a Savings Account is restricted to 100 transactions per half year.
              (A MERE 15-16 TRANSACTIONS PER MONTH ?? THATS IT ??? I USE TO HAVE ATLEAST 30 TO 35 TRANSACTIONS PER MONTH)

              # 5 cash transactions at branch will be allowed free per month. Every additional transaction will be charged @ Rs 100 per transaction effective 1st July 2010. (I CAN'T USE MY HDFC ACCOUNT WITH EASE AT MY OWN BRANCH? WHAT THE ..... HOW ABOUT DOING CASH TRANSACTIONS IN OTHER CITIES ???? NOT POSSIBLE!!!!

              ALL THESE, I FEEL IS A NICE WAY TO KEEP CUSTOMERS AWAY FROM THEIR PRODUCTS.....

              This is one of the most stupid action any bank has taken in recent years. HDFC anyways do not have good score in customer services neither their banking infrastructure is any superior than others. Over and above that, putting such unreasonable charges just devalue their reputation.

                This is for your kind information that i have own a car for which i took auto loan (loan account number[protected] from your bank on last 26th Feb'2010 but till date i have not received any documents regarding the same.When i called up the executive again & again he told me that same will be delivered at my home address within a week,but 2 & half months passed away,but still i dont know whom sholud i contact or what is the solution.

                Kindly advice.

                This is regarding the attitude o[censored]r staff dealing the loan.I applied loan on 23rd May .
                1- On Wednesday Bank staff told me there is some confusion on ur electricity bill it will be over be over till next day and we will inform u by 4.30evening but no one revert back we only follow up then they said mam till friday it will happen but nothing happen.
                2- On saturday morning Ms Manju called me up and said that i[censored] want DO to be fax to the dealer we weill fax right now and i[censored] want ur cash to be transfer we will do it till 5.00 pm in the evening .but till 5.30 pm there is no feedback on this .i only called and ask what happen then she said mam we will revert back to u .
                3 - At 5.45 pm i called her up then she said we will tranfer DO to the dealer and delaer is agree on that i said fine .then there is other executive Mr Gaurav([protected])said mam we will fax the DO to the dealer .Till 7.00 pm nothing happened when i called him he said there is lots of work and the person has to see500 files so it will take time i told himm that u should know this before .he said we have lots of customer and we will see ur matter .after faxing the DO to the dealer he didn,t informed i only called him then he said he already fax .When i asked the dealer he didn,t recibve any DO .When i try to call him he is not picking the cell.This type of of customer service is disgusting you are inprivate firm and this type of client service is not expected from ur bank.If this is agiverment bank still i undersatand .I am also working in hospitality area but we never treat our client in this manner .my important thing is there is no one for proper feedback every one says abhi batate hai but no one revert back ,we are only asking about our loan .It seems that bank people are very busy anfd if we are calling them we are disturbing them.Gaurav No-[protected].

                  I wish to make a complaint against HDFC Bank. I have a Platinum Plus Credit Crad from HDFC bank (Credit card no. [protected]). In the month of April 2010, there was an advertisement from HDFC in Goibibo's website that "Pay by your HDFC credit card and get cash back worth Rs 250". This offer was valid from 14th April to 30th June. As such I booked 4 flight tickets from GoIbibo on 21/04/2010 believing that I shall get a cashback of Rs1000 in total for the tickets that I booked. However my latest statement that got generated on 14/05/2010 (almost a month later) does not show any cashback which means that no cashback was given to me.
                  This is extremely annoying as I had several other offers from other banks that I could have availed at the time when I got my tickets booked. I chose to go with HDFC as the offer looked lucrative. HDFC cannot misguide their customers this way. As per the policies, they cannot advertise anything which they do not offer in reality. It is extremely unprofessional on their part to indulge in such misguided services. I want the cashback to be creditted to my account at the earliest and request you to please look into this.

                    HDFC bank branches in Nagpur and Amravati (cities in Maharashtra state) have refused to deposit the cash in my salary savings account. They say this account is meant only for salary deposits by my employer and I can only withdraw money from it. I was surprised to hear the branch manager that this is a profitless account with very small amounts turnover and we do not give any other service to salary account holders. I am going to make a complain of it to my employer requesting them to change the banker but I would like to know whether this is correct because earlier the same bank was allowing to do the same and good banks like ICICI and SBI do it without any problem.

                      Shame on HDFC Bank. Their electronic banking servers were down on Saturday 15th May 2010, and they are shamelessly telling that as a reason. These days even small retail showrooms have backup computer servers which they switch on if their main computer does not work.
                      On Saturday 15th May 2010 I made a purchase of Rs.9999 and swiped my card in the retail outlet. It said "Insufficient funds", (I was having a very good balance in lakhs). The people in the shop were looking at me as if I was a beggar or just came to show off and am not having enough money.
                      I called up HDFC help desk. It says "Customer care" on the debit card, but it is a computerized recorded menu which comes up again and again, and you can never get a human being to respond. So I chose option 4 for "reporting lost card", though my card is not actually lost, that was the only option to get a human being to talk to you.
                      For three times I told them my account number and details and each time they would say "please be on line, I will connect to another person" and then cut the call.
                      Then I went to the nearest HDFC ATM, that was not working. All HDFC customers were complaining the same. Also most people could only withdraw upto a limited Rs.5000 and not more than that.
                      Then atlast I have to yell at the helpdesk lady, that I am calling for the fourth time and not to disconnect the phone.
                      Then one man came on line and told me "All our computer servers are down and will come up only 1 hours afterwards!!"
                      What a shame! What would happen to customers who eat in star restaurants on a weekend with families and when they swipe their cards and the waiter announces "Insufficient funds".
                      My question is if HDFC computer servers are not working, why blame it on the customer and announce to the whole world through the Point-of-Sale device that he is having "Insufficient funds". Why not a simple "HDFC bank server not working". Is it not annoying for the customer? Every one looking at him as if he has come to rob!!
                      And all leading banks have computer servers which work with their ATMs, EFT POS and netbanking. But they all have "backup servers" too. The backup computer servers switch on automatically and take over the work when the main computer server goes down. Does not HDFC Bank management know this simple fundamental about Electronic banking?
                      Have been trying since morning to depsoit money into my daughters account in bangalore, they say they cannot accept as erver is down, try after an hour, have been to 3 branches and still trying but it seems it canot be done today and it was very important to deposit today.in todays world such an excuse is inpardonable ...they should be dragged to consumer court

                        I’m holding others banks credit cards from last 3 years and as well HDFC also. Only with HDFC I’m facing the Problem This is my 4th Request for Hdfc Credit Card settlement and till now no one have reward.
                        I have contacted below mention number you have provided for settlement. (Last Mail Ref No HBL[protected] Hyderabad[protected] . I spoke to Rekha and Suresh regarding this they said (Both Are HDFC EMP) – After april they can do the settlement as they promises me as per my request in 15000/- for settlement. Now when i called they said not possible great …Suresh also told me to don’t make the payment till april 2010 and HDFC will do the settlement.
                        Now I can’t talk to Any way I need final settlement asap.
                        And I don’t want to communicate on phone you guys Don’t know how to talk to the customers also.
                        I need proper channel to close this. Send me mail with settlement I can deposit the cheque Same Day.
                        Please understands on phone you people have promises many things in Indian Consumer Complaint site you have more than a 1000 complaints . And 50% Customer are facing the problem after settlement also.
                        You don’t care about your customer HDFC is playing with customers.
                        I also requested to the RBI have to look this, Banks don’t have right to play with the customers money, I can’t believe everyday more than a 3 to 4 complaints in consumer complaint site only for HDFC Credit Card.
                        I think better RBI have to Stop this bank. I agree some time bank have to face problem from customer’s side also but means not that they will play with the customer money.

                        My credit card number no ;[protected], i m the pletinum customer of HDFC bank and also having my salary account in the same bank, sir from the date
                        of activation of my credit card i continously complaining that i m not receveiving my credit card bills hard copy at my given
                        address, after so many complaints no action was taken by bank officials. Now two days back executive had called me for the payment
                        of installment charges, i said her that i'll it on 5 june 2010 bcoz i m posted in remote area there is no atm facility avaliable there
                        When on 5 th june when i visited hissar ( my home town as usaullly every weekend )and try to pay
                        installment through credit card the transaction was declined when i get in touch with customer care they said
                        that my ATM amount was put on hold. I was shocked such a big banking organisation treating there customer like this.
                        I m requesting u to plz take necessary action against the bank.Also arrange to unhold my cash so i can the other bills too.

                          My financial possition was very poor I want to settle my credit card payment for 10000/- and my credit limit on card is Rs. 16500/- and they ask for pay Rs.33000/-, please help me for god se I was very help less person so no one can ready to help me I will ready to pay Rs.10000/- for settlement.                           HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                          That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers. They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and write off in cibil.

                          They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost


                          Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                            Hello Experts,

                            I had some issue with HDFC Credit Card and finally we had a settlement, upon settlement HDFC gave me a waiver amount of Rs. 29000/- in July 2009.

                            Now when I applied for Personal loan at Citi Bank, they rejected my application saying Bad CIBIL report.

                            so I applied for Cibil Report and found HDFC Credit Card Status reflecting SETTLED, so then I understood Settled means Bank was unable to recover full amount.

                            so I asked HDFC Debt Recovery team to let me know what is my total waiver amount that i received and the interest incured so that I can pay in Full and Final.

                            very Next Day I got a call from a person, he informed me he is from HDFC and informed I have to pay Rs. 23,800/- and he said, since my card is in Blocked state I cannot pay by cheque he said I need to pay cash. I got fooled here, i blindly agreed, very next day he sent a collection guy to my office address,

                            the guy gave me a forged HDFC settlement letter, and Cash Receipt for 23800/-

                            Now when I contacted HDFC, they say, they have NOT received the cash.

                            I went to police, police said, you expressed your desire to pay the due to HDFC Debt Recovery Represetative - and if someone comes with your Credit Card info, HDFC's Original Cash Receipt Copy and fools you.. why you have to take the pain of complaining... its HDFC's Duty to find who did this fraud.

                            HDFC didn't agree to help at first, then I lodged a complain at RBI's Banking Ombudsman against HDFC.

                            Now HDFC Risk Management had started Investigating, however I don't have faith in them.

                            is there anyway i can enforce HDFC to take immediate action so i can recover my money at the earliest.

                            Once again thank you all for going through my case completely.

                            hahahhhahahhahhahhahahahahah, sorry for the laugh,

                            here is what you can do. police cannot deny to register fir or complaint, if they have done is no problem, get a small time lawyer and file a case of cheating, looting, conspiracy, breach of trust etc etc with the local court.

                            It will cost you a thousand or so more and some days of pain of going to the court, but that is the only way teach a lesson .

                                Hi ,

                                I have registered complaint against the disputed amount on 10th of April.This transaction was made on 10th April around 7-7:30p.m from ATM II FIRST INDIA PLACE,GURGAON.I have entered 1000RS/- for withdrawl but received only 400RS/-.It was happened with alot of people same day.Tried fixing this problem online by calling HDFC Customer care department but they are good for nothing.Every time when i called them either they disconnected the call or tried to convienced me by saying we'll revert you on the same shortly.This is very disgusting for the customers who are availing the services of HDFC Bank.
                                I hope after knowing this fact the HDFC Head Quater/Customer service would take some immediate action to resolve this issue and credit the disputed amount on my account ASAP.

                                  I was forced and coerced and abused in to taking in a pension policy of 24k on monthly basis, my signatures on the illustrations were forged by Mr.Shailesh Wairkar and and was not even aware of it ,on 7th of may when I recd the policy document, I was shocked to see that my pan card have been tampered with, and my latest photo has been superimposed on the pan card,
                                  since my original pan card is in black and white, but the pan card in the new policy document has my latest picture which was taken from me for the policy document, superimposed on the original copy.

                                  In the last three months ,I have seen many instances where ,signatures of customers have been forged on illustration by Mr. wairkar,the customers are not shown the actual illustrations and policies are sold promising customers 25% guaranteed returns on excel sheets prepared by Mr. shailesh Wairkar

                                  Iam aware that no action would be taken against him and he would continue to harm the company’s image, an image guaranteed by and goodwill created by people of integrity like Mr. Deepak Parikh...

                                  but writing this mail has lessen the burden from my conscience and I can just hope that this whistle blower concept is no just fancy initiative launched by the company ,but some thing which would stop mis-selling and stop people from abusing their authority...

                                  Iam so disgusted of all the happenings that i have decided to leave the organization but hope that some action would be taken,

                                  He has even threatened to kill my mother and me if something happens to me or my mother Mr. Shailesh wairkar would be responsible for it.

                                    Amanager likeJai kishen from HDFC bank credit card team in bangalore is of a nuisance for a bank and as well as for the customers, the above person asked for comission for the settling one of my account later came to know there is a process where banks settles the account and takes money from their collectors as it was happened to my friend since the payment was collected without a reciept with nominal amount for the settlement but later when cross verified different amount was deposited.......this is not about complaining against any manager but a manager like this is a menace to company since it will lose a trust of customers......i sincerely request consumer phorum to take care of such incidents so that other customers will be relieved of this kind of manager,please note the reason why im not mentioning my credit card details is beacuse my account is already settled and a person from his own team let me know on the fraud hence i do not want this Rat i mean jai kishen to create a problem,and consumer phorum has to take a strict action against this since he uses harsh words when he speaks to the customers

                                    the person need to be chucked out of a job who does not know the value of customer's money nor representing the brand of the company, HDFC team if this is a service from your end its going to be a great disaster for your collections, anyways you guys have suffered a lot in terms of collection in the last two years since your employs are managing to their target by holding customer's savings account because your company holds major corporate accounts, HDFC banks needs to investigate on the total income of this manager and his current assets so that it will get to prove whether this manager is doing daylight robbery of the bank

                                      This is Asif Khan, brother of Mohammad Nadeem Khan, I received a call from HDFC Bank Credit Card division from Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. My brother has not paid the credit card since 4 months because there was a fraud done by a HDFC employee and there was no action taken by the bank regarding this. Today I received the call at 5:20 PM IST on 11th May 2010, and the person on the phone was Himanshu Ganju (himanshu.[protected]@hdfcbank.com) after a few talks he started abusing me on the phone and said "You are a muslim you are 'gaddar' and go back to your country ", my brother has not paid the bank because he has been waiting for justice from the bank which has not been done. Now this phrase from a HDFC employee has shown where India is today and why it is still called a 3rd world country and is not at par with other developed nations.
                                      I will take this matter to the farthest possible court and jurisdiction in India even if I have to spare my whole life for this. Because this is a National Issue and not a matter of few thousands in payment towards the bank.

                                        This is serious issue regarding wrong selling of Insurance.Let me tell you i have called up hdfc toll free number for fixed deposit and they said it would be 7.50%.So,I asked them to come and collect my details and they asked me to sign in certain documents and gave them a cheque of 1,00,000/- just mentioning account payee and they said they would fill up the favour of so i have asked them to fill that on their own.At that point i asked him very clearly whether it is a one time payment and he said clearly yes.This all happened in May -2009. But after 8 to 10 months later when i went to hdfc west mambalam branch for depositing another 50,000/-on the same fixed deposit they asked me fo policy number so i went back and brought the documents for their reference.Only then they explained it is an insurance and nowher related to hdfc bank so i need to meet standard life people.I thaught if its not related to hdfc i like to cancelthis program and the person out their said fine your Rs.1,00,000/-cannot be refunded I need to tell you at this point from west mambalam to velacherry branch and from their they asked me to go to Branch office in Teynampet and they said it is being shifted to nandanam and where ever i go to any of your branch they are not even ready to talk to me because they pretty busy with new enrollments .And one person in KK Nagar branch said this is the way lots of customers is being cheated so at that point i was totally scared and i decided to go throug the terms and condition and one of customer service people explained me to send a mail .Person are all available in your branches but nobody could help now i am scared no safety for my money for next 10years .so,Kindly refund the money with out any surrender charges.For all the pain i went through.........Its just a apolicy for you people but for me my hard earned money and at any cost i wont be contacting hdfc for furthur promotional offers..If a customer as a belief on the bank and not reading the terms and condition properly this is what you ppl would do .So, Apart from all other your job pls take this into consideration and do the need full...................Looking forward for ur help because i have other go...................

                                        I was having a fixed deposite at HDFC bank I was in need of fund so I visit for a premature of fixed deposit Rs 25000/- but unfortunately a receptionist official was a HDFC standard Life agent She told me that premature cannot be done in jut one day and if I do the Insurance policy than she will do the same immediately and she told about the policy that I will get every year Rs.4000 as a bonus I got all the document because of the bonus which she had explained me I feel to run the policy but after one year she told me that your bonus will accrued in your A/c but u'll received at maturity and Said it was also not known to her better to look at your nearest branch again she said U just continue your 3 years premium and take over your all paid money back.I was in trouble as my mother was in seek or ill so I didn't able to go through the bond paper and she died on 1st month of next year i.e 2010 I was not in a proper mind paid the 2nd premium as agent said but from customer care I came to know about surrender value and decided not to pay any more premium! It was totally misguide selling to me I feel myself victim So, I feel to lodge a complain to a consumer forum.
