Hi,

SUB : WITHDRAWAL OF CASH FROM YOUR ATM S1CW5890 ( GOTRI BRANCH)

It is since September'12 that I have been requesting for a debit in my account which the bank claims that i have withdrawan but are not suppporting in giving me the footage of the same i have approached the nodal desk , the local team but all in vain i send them reminders every fourth day but get standardized messages it is now five months and i am not getting any suppport from the team.

With reference to the above mentioned subject do please note the following :
I have my savings bank account with HDFC BANK bearing A/c.No.[protected], on 25th September 2012 @ 0815 hrs there has been a withdrawal of Rs.3000.00 from my DEBIT CARD NO: [protected], enclosed is my statement of account showing the withdrawal.
The above mentioned withdrawal has never been done by me, where in during this period I was engrossed into my prayers and on 25th September 2012 the card was also lying with me and never have I visited any of the banks or counters in need of money.
Basis which would request you to kindly provide me the details of the footage where in I need to verify how did the transaction take place.

HDFC — Deducted 3000.00 from my account

Hi,

I am Sachin Sharma, I have a salary account of previous company with HDFC bank. THe account was a 00.00 balance account and was not credited with salary since past 1-1.5 years. One good they decide to convert it to a current account and did not inform me about that.
I transferred my hard earned money to the account one day to realize that they deducted around 3000.00 Rs from my account (825 per month fee). Now they are not willing to credit it back to my account.

These bank guys have your numbers to disturb you and sell every kind of things to you like insurance, mutual funds, CREDIT cards etc etc.

They do not have enough time and courtesy to call and intimate about the account conversion,

Can you please clarify on this.

Is an intimation not necessary to the customers?

This is in reference to your email dated 16th January 2013, received at the office of the Principal Nodal Officer, Mr. Ratan Kumar Kesh, regarding cash not received but debited from your Savings account number ending with ***********1065 for an amount of Rs.3000/- while trying to withdraw the same from a ICICI Bank ATM on 25th September 2012 . -

From RAm - your understanding has been wrong, I did not try to withdraw the cash, but I have been debited that I have withdrawn for which I have asked for a proof the debit, which as a customer I have the right in case you debit the money from my account, hence your standardized understanding is wrong.

At the outset, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
As an HDFC Bank customer, when you transact at a non-HDFC Bank ATM the transaction is routed through ATM networks authorized and governed by the RBI. As per the extant RBI guidelines, disputes pertaining to non/short dispensation of cash need to be resolved by way of Charge Back, wherein the card issuing bank raises a chargeback on the acquiring bank whose ATM was used to conduct the transaction. The acquiring bank has to revert with a valid proof in the form an ATM Log indicating that the funds were successfully dispensed failing which the customer’s account will be credited within 7 working days from the date of complaint. Furthermore, as per the network operating guidelines, the ATM log is sufficient and conclusive proof of successful cash dispensation. –
From Ram - Secondly when you boast of 07 working days then why is that you have taken more than 90 days to resolve my query with no refund and asking for another 07 days days which as lapsed as per my 1st mail to you dated 16th January 2012 we have crossed 10 days over here.
We would like to inform you that immediately on receipt of your complaint dated 26th September 2012, we had raised a chargeback on ICICI Bank vide reference number NFS372175, in response to which we received a valid proof from them indicating that the funds have been successfully dispensed. - Can I have the details of the communications that you have with ICICI ensuring that your customer is un happy.

However, basis your query and as a service gesture, we once again raised this case with the acquiring bank and requested them to confirm successful dispensation of cash by providing some additional proof. We would like to inform you that the acquiring bank has once again confirmed that they did not have excess cash in the ATM on the date of transaction. –

From Ram - Can I get a time line of the same.

We regret to inform you that we have no further recourse in the matter.

With respect to your request for the CCTV footage, we would like to inform you that as per the network operating guidelines the acquiring bank is not required to provide the same. However, on a best effort basis, we have requested them to provide the same and will update you as soon as we receive a revert from them. –

From Ram - As a citizen of a democratic country when you have a right to debit a wrong amount you are required to provide me the details as requested. Also do please let me know did you mention this while you were delivered me the letter of ATM withdrawal from any bank.

    3. As a customer I should have been informed before holding the amount.
    4. It’s a form of cheating and I have been cheated by the bank.
    5. As mentioned by you the notice has been sent on 24.12.2012 after a long interval of more than 2 years. Isn’t it unfair??

    In continuation to the written communication I have a few queries and would request you to please look into the matter.

    1. I have been communicating the issue to you since last one month but there is a resolution to be provided yet. I am being provide the reference nos. only without any resolution. Each and every time I write a mail . I am just being provide a reference no.( correspondence is : [protected], [protected], R-2063-HBCR-93EAR4/12, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] ) and a 7 day time is taken for the resolution then someone calls me and confirms that the mail has been received by them and they are looking into the matter but no one turns after that.
    Already informed (Medical documents already sent )Being the only source of income for my family it’s my duty to take care of my parent’s health. I am helpless right now as I am unable to get my father cured due to fund unavailability. I am getting frustrated mentally by these fraudulent activities of the HDFC bank.

    Once again I am requesting you to make a settlement on a reasonable amt. so that I can avoid further dispute and get my father cured at the earliest.

      Complaints :
      1. Forgery of proposal - My signature was taken on the proposal for Life ins policy to be taken for me. Instead, my wife's signature was forged by scanning her passport copy and the policy was issued in her name.
      2. The policy terms and conditions on my wife's policy are also different from what i was told by the by the salesman / agent who visited my home.
      3. Inspite of no. of reminders / calls / complaints, the Ins. co. does not seem to be inclined to cancel the policy and refund the premium amount of Rs. 27000.
      4. The original policy doc couriered to the co. office is now claimed as NOT RECEIVED by the co.

          The below mentioned is the mail which i have sent to hdfc customer care regarding my loan approval ,but i dint get any call from the nodal team just a mail today stating that my loan is not processed due to internal rules,

          Why cant the rule implemated to me before when i applied the loan,



          Hi this mail is regarding the loan which I applied on 11th January where a representative named Prasad ([protected] ) Chennai , he was coordinating with me and he got all the documents from me and the verification was over and I received the SMS on on 12th Jan stating that (Your Personal Loan application is accepted Ref no[protected],now what Prasad told me before is he will process my load within 2 working days ,and I called Prasad on 17th he said that my loan is rejected I asked him the reason he said that the current place I am working has only 3 month completed my job strength is less, But I told this information before that I am working in Consim 3 months had completed he said this document is enough to process the loan ,but now how can he say that my loan is rejected ,this is ridicules , The same thing happened to my wife when she applied for a loan before 2 months ,even I sent a mail to nodal before but the result is ? I have given my Pan card ,my mobile bill & my 3 months Pay slip, this is enough to apply for a loan , I request you to approve the loan ASAP .I am really disappointed with your service ..

          Personal Loan — not have any loan

          my name is Kamakhya prasad mishra . I have not taken any personal loan, not using credit card but against that the loan is been showing. I think it may be misused my name for this matter. For which I want to sort out this matter as quick as possible so that I may be free of all this civil cases.

          One of the worst personal loan provider in INDIA don't ever apply for personal loan from HDFC as they took 25 days to said that loan is decline even every document and everything was clear have not taken any personal loan, not using credit card...             Bank executive has taken all documents and a check amount of rs. 20000/-. The check has cleared on16.01.2013. More than seven days has passed but the executive is not giving me clear view about my account status rather he is playing with me. When i ask him to avoid me he telling, i will give u a call after 10 mins. But 1 day passess by but he donot respond me. If this kind of services quilty u have then just close my account and refund my money.

                I am with grief sorrow writing this mail to you finally as the Credit Card Department has not left any option for me .

                Myself Subhasis Roy Choudhury is a Corporate Salary A/C holder at HDFC bank in Kolkata at Rajarhat Branch.

                I have also been given a Credit Card from HDFC bank .The Problem arises from here .My Credit Card number last four digits are ‘8359.Presenly my O/S amount is Rs 28.918.33 against a Credit Limit of 17.000.

                The Current bill ref no[protected]L0008986 is comprised of Late Fee 700,Over Limit Fee 500,Finance Charge Retail -871,Service Tax -248.60,Cess Tax 7.45.How come my bill crossed the Credit Limit ?

                More Over to inform you further that I lost my Credit Card on September 2011 and had lodge a GD at the nearest PS with reference GD number -24674 .

                I have paid whatever due against one of my EMI amount. Even after that I have been continuous going on paying and paying till date .If I am not wrong I have already paid more that 30.000 against the Credit Card and still my O/S is Rs 28.918.33.On good note I have been paying whatever I have been asked to pay by the collection agency .

                Till date there is no credit card with me and paying the bills .No new card was issued to me and when I called up the call center they said that I have got a new credit card . It is really shocking!.

                I also agreed to go for a settlement and decided to debit the amount from my account .One fine morning I receive a call from CC Department that the settlement agreement has been cancelled .

                Now I have stopped the payment and will not pay a single amount against a lost credit card and false billing from your credit card department .Why my card was not suspended when it crossed the Credit limit .

                If any amount is being kept on hold from my salary after this I will seriously going to lodge an FIR against the harassment from HDFC bank .

                I am looking for a resolution from you .Please close the account and waive the entire amount .I don’t want to take any legal step.

                    I am holding credit card number [protected]. I have paid the full amount which I had taken and I did not receive any credit card statement for 3 months, After 3 months, I suddenly received credit card statement saying that I have to pay nearing Rs.4,500/-, I immediately approached nearby bank J.P.Nagar personally and they informed that I have to contact customer care, I informed about this , but
                    No body is bothered to respond, Then one customer care representative informed that we have take up the matter from Richmond Road Branch, When we visited, and told them the grievance, we requested them to give us final settlement and cancel the card, Mr.Raju, (used bad language over telephone) then Manjunath spoke asked to settle the amount in full which is not fair on such a reputed bank which prides itself on giving immediate services, they give immediate service if we ask for loan or chase us till they give us the credit, then the true color comes out?

                    I have been chasing up for the settlement, they have taken 4-5 months, and now the credit card amount is Rs.10,920.84 From amount of Nil, how HDFC Credit card
                    Amount can come to Rs.10,920/84 I am unable to understand,

                    Then we received a form to attend HDFC Court notice in Lalbagh Road, Met Mr.Shrikanth saying that we he was also surprised that how we received the notice and said will resolve the issue, called up almost 50 times, sais will inform, but no reply / no action taken ?

                    Then another customer care representative form HDFC Bank Ms.Veena called up, when we explained the problem, she informed to speak to another Manager, who informed she was busy and said will call up, till not not received any call not any response, when we contacted said will send the mail to Chennai - must be still sending?

                    All the managers know how to penalize common people like prolonging the issue
                    So that maximum harassment given to the poor people like a leech sucking blood

                    I have paid the amount which I have taken truly with interest and I do not owe any money. Apart from the lump sum of final settlement given, the payment is made on following dates::

                    28.09.2012: Rs.1,170/-
                    28.03.2012: Rs.1,860/-
                    29.06.2011: Rs.2,100/-
                    07.05.2011: Rs, 2,000/-
                    14.03.2011: Rs.4,170/-

                    I hope I will be the issue is resolved or it may go u to what level?????????????????

                      My name is Dr.Lovely Garg. I have filled surrender value against my policy no[protected] months ago. but cheque of surrender money did not reach to me yet. i complained to hdfc about this but they told that they have sent this cheque but it has returned to hdfc because it was not recieved.
                      although all the letters and recipts of hdfc is reaching to me expect this cheque but still i told them to send the cheque on my nearest branch i.e Sangrur. and i called them today after 21 days of my complaint and get to know that they have not send the cheque yet but they will send by tomorrrow.what these people doing???making fun o[censored]s????or there is no rule in hdfc book to return the people's money back to them.please tell me what to do now?????

                      On 19th Oct Mr. Manish & Amit of HDFC Stander ed Life Visited at my shop & i along with my wife discussed the matter & finely we requested tham to surrender all our existing Policies no. 11069518, 11044276,11077460 & my daughter policy in the name of Shweta. They made us to sign on forms for surrender & also taken our documents in support of surrender procedure & they told us our surrender amount approx Rs.8 lacs & assured us "u will get yours fund with in 10 days". I needed the money urgently for my business. I have been egarly waiting for my funds for the last 24 days still i have not received the same. I have been facing lot of hardship & have incurred good amount of loss of potential profit for not having adequate of funds in time. To my astonishment instead of receiving money I have received 2 policy bonds with date of comm[protected]. It mean that my transaction has completed on[protected]. Even after lapse of 23 days have not received my cheque. I unable to understand why this over delay is being done. You are requested to please expedite the matter & take correct you action against the erring officials for such a sheer negligence on their part

                          Please note that Credit Card has been offered by HDFC bank with no additional expense except Late fee for the amount used through credit card.

                          However, for last few months they were unable to deliver the credit card bills to the said address and no one ever contacted me from HDFC credit card bank behalf.

                          Later my office address changed and i requested online for address change with the Credit Card dept, they changed the address but with huge amount added which includes Late fee plus Finance Charge. by definition of Bank that Finance charge is the interest fee they charge on amount used from credit card if it is not payable on time.
                          Issues:
                          1. I have paid timely payments but if they are not able deliver the bills how would i come to know that how much i have to pay to the Credit Card company.
                          2. However, i have paid all the payable amount including late fee
                          3. As it not informed to me by the HDFC credit card representative, that the bank will apply FINANCE CHARGE on late payment amount, therefore i have not paid this finance charge.
                          4. They keep calling and forcing me to pay this amount also..
                          5. I have not received the credit card bills through courier even and thy did not even bother to call me.
                          6. And now they keep on increasing the amount of Finance charge by adding further more late fees and finance charges with service tax and cess tax..

                          it is same like when villagers borrowed money from landlord and never able to return it because landlord keep on adding BYAJ or interest.

                                  I had surrendered my policy[protected] on 29-Dec-12 with the required documents at the law college road Pune branch, I have also receipt for the same. But when after a week I asked
                                  customer care about my refund status they said your refund is on hold since copy of your beneficiary's Id is missing in the first place if according to your policy no one can surrender the policy without the required documents (Policy, Policy holder's ID and beneficiary's Id) how can you people give a crape that one of the document is not submitted. Even if it is misplaced by you people(now anything can be expected by you guys) you can’t even bother to communicate it to the customer.
                                  When I enquire the matter with the branch executive (Pune Law college Road) she said all the documents are perfectly fine she herself scanned the documents and sent it to the concern department. Next day customer care gave the same crape beneficiary’s id is missing and branch executive said we have received authorization for your check, by tomorrow we'll dispatch it.

                                  But when today I called the branch executive she said she doesn't know why the concerned department is not approving the process and asked me to discuss the issue with that department representative.
                                  How can you ask the customer to deal with the issue ?
                                  Why don’t you people update the status online?
                                  I mean this is the service which you people provide to your customers..ridiculous.
                                  Why such discrepancy in your representative’s statements? They are just playing blame game. They don't even realize that they are representing the same organization.

                                  I went to HDFC Life insurance, T NAGAR branch chennai to surrender ULIP policy . BASTERS no proper response for customers and wait for 3 hours without having lunch.
                                  finally they told signature missmatch and sent me back.
                                  I have made this signature past 7 years back, asked them to verify the signature in my passport, driving license and proofs submitted .

                                  But they simply rejected.

                                  It is very difficult to get money back from HDFC insurace .

                                  at the time of policy HDFC bank person says, you have to pay three instalment then you can withdraw the money with Principle +premium

                                    Me & my Wife are Indian Citizens residing in UAE. We hold an NRE Account with HDFC Bank in India which was activated through the local branch
                                    in Dubai. The Account is a joint account under mine & my wife's name.

                                    On 9th of January 2013, Wednesday, My Wife Mrs. Neha, who is a joint account holder of our Account with HDFC, visited the HDFC Dehradun
                                    Branch (Rajpur Road) to withdraw cash from our account. Herein, She was directed to Ravinder who is a bank official working in Dehradun branch.

                                    She asked him for a withdrawal slip to withdraw cash & on upon that, He asked her whether she has a debit card of a cheque book. She replied
                                    in the negetive & hence he turned her away saying that the Customer cannot withdraw money from the bank if they do not have a debit card or
                                    cheque book...

                                    Now, after having consequently checked with the Bank officials, I was informed that the bank does not have any such policy that an Account
                                    Holder caanot withdraw money if they do not carry a cheque book or an ATM Card. It is irrelevant that we have a debit card/cheque book or not, but it is relevant that we hold an account with the bank.

                                    Hence, I want to lodge a complaint against Ravinder & HDFC for having denied the right of the Customer to withdraw cash from his/her account on the basis of false pretexes which are not in line with the Bank's Policies & procedures.

                                    My Wife has travelled more than 2 hrs to withdraw money from her own account, only to be wrongfully denied by Ravinder on the basis that she did
                                    not carry a debit card/cheque book... Let me reinforce again that after having spoken to the Bank officials, It has been confirmed that there is no such policy of the bank which can deny the customer his own money from his own account.


                                    I would request your utmost cooperation & support to take this matter up with the bank as we have been wrongfully denied our right to withdraw our own money from the bank on the basis of false pretexes which are not in line with the Bank policies.

                                    We have suffered because we have been denied our own money when we needed it the most.

                                        This is to bring to your kind attention that I Prashant V.Parab has a unknown outstanding with one of the reputed Bank (HDFC Bank)The collector from the Bank and agency have started harassing me over the phone and even stared sending goons at my work place and at my residence. I have been negotiating with bank in regards to the outstanding amount but the officer Mr.Vishal is not providing me with precise response, but he wants me to get paid all the outstanding dues ASAP.



                                        I have been a ordinary customer without any default till date with any of the banks, but this executive are making me a defaulter by rudely abusing and threatening me over the phone. They even called at my work place and threatened my colleagues in my absence in regards to dire consequence failing to make the outstanding amount at the earliest, resulting to which my job is at stake.

                                        HDFC Credit Card — collection executives harrasment

                                        I had payed my last HDFC payment of 1898 vide cheque 867266 and this was payed late because i was not getting my statements in time. After repeated requests only one executive called me and told my outstanding with late payment of 400rs. when i told about the non availability of statement, he told the late payment will be waved off and i have to pay the rest 1898 which i have done on the next day. I informed him that i need to close the card for which he told that he will sent an executive for collection of the card and giving me the settlement letter. It has never happened and i never used HDFC card after that .


                                        Now for the past 3 weeks for my surprise i am getting regular calls from HDFC collection dept telling that i have an outstanding of 3000 rs and need to be payed. When i asked for the details they are not willing to give and started abusing me telling that they can collect the payment either from me or from my parents. None of the cutomer care executive are giving me the higher authority number so that i can explain him the problem.
