Dear Sir/madam,

I have a complain for Hdfc life & really need your help.
I have an insurance policy with this company, my policy number is 15540172 & i bought this policy in November 12.
Today i m sitting on Fab 13 but still i dont have correct documents in my hand.

My problem is that before i get the original policy documents, i got emails from the Hdfc life by misaddressing me Mrs Shalini singh...

I sent my reply that my name is Ms Shalini singh NOT Mrs, please make it correct & i also called to customer & warn them that if i'll get the same problem in my original policy documents when i'll get them then surely i'll ask you to cancel my policy...
But Hdfc has repeated same problem again & again & they send me wrong documents with pronouncing me Mrs. Shalini singh.
after calling 100 times i got my documents in jan 13 BUT with the wrong name & title.
again I sent saveral emails & called may times to HDFC to rectify but didnt get reply.
one day again i emailed them & warn that i m going to consumer court & then i recieved an email from HDFC life ,they said i'll have to return policy documents any nearest branch of Hdfc life & they will resend new & correct documents & i'll get them within 10 days.
but after 1.5 month latter to i have recived a courier from Hdfc life BUT the documents are still same.there is no change.HDFC has returned me the same documents.
i tried their costumer care many times but their executives misbehaved with me,they put me on hold every time for 20-25 miniuts & then cut the call.
now i m out of patience & i m really tired with all these.
now i want to cancel my policy & want my money back with interest.
Please please help me out

It is my biggest mistake to invest in hdfc life young star. They ate my ninety thousand rupees in the form of fees in 4 years and fund is miss managed. I don't think I will get the money that I have invested.. forget about growing my money!! I will never suggest HDFC bank. worst bank.

    THIS IS VERY BAD THING THAT HDFC CARD MY BROTHER USED CARD FOR 2K AND HE MADE THE PAYMENT AND HE SETTLED THE CARD IN 2008. THESE NOW WENT TO MY NATIVE AND COLECTED INFORMATION ASKING HIM TO PAY 15 K .THIS IS UNFORTUNATE AND VERY BAD THING THIS BANK IS DOING. I DONOT NO WHRN THIS HDFC WILL GO FROM THE PUBLIC.

    IN BANKING SECTOR HDFC IS THE WORST BANK TO TORTURE TH INNOCENT PUBILC. I HOPE ONE DAY THIS BANK SHOULD GO FROM PUBLIC

      My name is Mr. Talari. Sridhar sir, with out my intention medical police is
      Added to my credit card [protected] and the police no is[protected] and amount is deducted and tying to deducted amount from my account [protected]. Please cancel the medical police and auto pay deduction and refund the money to my account which is deducted.

      Sir I canceled my credit card due this problem and I never used the credit card and I never registered for auto pay deduction. I informed to hdfc bank several times I have done the mails and I made phones to call centers no body taken the action since from five months please, please do need full and please refund my deducted amount to my account.

        I am banking with HDFC bank from 7 years i never had any problem with my banking with HDFC bank before even if i had a problem like posting of stolen checks on my account with the HDFC banks own problem i still continued my banking and even i increased my banking with hdfc and continued buying more services from hdfc .Now i keep savings account ,demat account and credit card account with HDFC. i preffered HDFC over other banks as i had feeling the nature the HDFC BANK give us service is very much customer friendly. but i was shocked with the malpractice used by HDFC bank credit card department in just disbursing its loan.. follow the story below.

        i had received a call from HDFC CREDIT CARDS and they were offering me loan against my credit card upto 1 lack on my credit card . i needed some money for my personnel purpose and they were offering me it 1 lakh without any transaction charges or file charges .before opting for a loan i had confirmed with the representative on phone call about pre-payment penalties on my loan. they said its 3% of the amount which would be left when i will be making payment i confirm this thing with two people who offered me the loan and on the other call which came for the confirmation. they said sir there would not be any other charges.i said ok please put the offered money in my account.
        . i inquired the credit card department regarding this issues so i received a E-mail which states that ,the service charge which is being put according to the GOVT. new law which put the charge on all banking services.
        i have no idea about what is the definition of service which HDFC bank following and more to it.
        help me understand when i am making a payment using your Hdfc bank savings account to credit card which part of the service i am availing from you.
        apart from it when i took a loan our contract clearly mentions there would not be any other charges more than 3% would be levied on pre-payment of loan but now HDFC bank is asking for total loan amount +3 % of prepayment charge +15% of taxes on prepayment of loan

        HDFC Bank — Service Charge on Credit Card

        On numerous request from HDFC sales personel, a credit card was issued to me with a agreed terms that no Service Charge will be imposed on me till one year of its transaction. But It was surprising to receive an statement showing Service Charge within next 15-30 days after issue of the card.

        I have a corporate salary account in HDFC Bank. I just want to know whether Bank lockers are avilable?? How much do they charge for keeping the jewels in Lockers? Please let me know other information regarding the same.

        i am also using my credit card for making purchases so i make over payments so that AFTER SATISFYING THERE LOAN CHARGES WHICH WOULD BE (principal + interest payments) that should be applied toward my card balance . and after satisfying every thing rest should be kept as credit balance on my card account.this is the clear case of harassment from HDFC bank to me. i inquired the credit card department regarding this issues so i received a E-mail which states that ,the service charge which is being put according to the GOVT. new law which put the charge on all banking services.

        I also have two Cash-on-Call loans of Rs.65, 500/- each for 36 months term on my HDFC Credit Card. 30 months have already been passed and I am planning to make a prepayment of remaining balance on both the loans. As you mentioned in the post above, HDFC Credit Card Customer Care Executive told me that there would only be 3% prepayment charges on the remaining balance and NO other HIDDEN or Extra Charges in terms of Taxes and all.

        I am awaiting a prepayment confirmation call from the concerned department; but now, I will double check with them if there is any other charge apart from 3% !

          This is to communicate to you that My Car i10 (DL-3C-BQ-1390) which is covered with HDFC ERGO GENERAL INSURANCE with ZERO DEBT Policy No:[protected]Start Date:17th June,12 till 16th June,13) had an accident last month in new Delhi, In that context, I had made a complain to HDFC customer care & obtained a Claim No:C[protected] to repair the car. I had handed over the car to CONCEPT HYUNDAI D-18/3, Okhla Phase-II, New Delhi-110020 Tel No:+[protected] Email:[protected]@concepthyundai.com. Car was handed over to me yesterday dated:10th Feb,2013 with partial repair by Concept Hyundai mentioning that HDFC ERGO has not approved your claim completely due to the reason we are unable to repair your car fully (SEE ENCLOSED ICCH DOC FOR JUSTIFICATION). My car was with Concept Hyundai approx. 10 days in workshop but unfortunately no one, Neither Concept Hyundai nor HDFC ERGO communicated to me verbally or formally that my claim has not been approved by HDFC ERGO. I tried to connect with HDFC ERGO representative to understand the reason that why my claim has not been approved fully but I am sorry to mention here that no one is in position to communicate the reason for the same. I request HDFC ERGO to send me a formal communication, mentioning the reason for not approving my claim completely. I have also made a complaint in CONSUMER FORUM to record the consequences & do the monitoring till the final resolution of the matter. I am sharing the CONSUMER GRIVENCE COMPLAIN NO# to concern for the information & required action to resolve the issue till the full satisfaction of customer. I am waiting for your kind response.           i 10 — accidental claim and repair

          My name is ALOK SHARMA by profession marine engineer .One month back one accident happen and i have given my car for repair in nerarest showroom but didnt getting proper response by showroom people, they are delaying too much and my mom health is not good she is not able to walk properly due to operation.So please do take some immediate action.

            Dear Sir, My Credit card no [protected] recd sms to pay Rs. total Due 23509.44 & minimum Due Rs.1629.60. Still I had not consumed my cr credit from last two month. I even call to their call centre asking about to send me credit card statement for what they had charge?

            No reply from HDFC Cr card Dept. Also one the agency of behalf of HDFC calling me to make the payment.

              Hi,
              I received a call from the HDFC bank for credit card and i had applied for the credit cards a month ago after submitting all the required documents.
              I received a call on 18th Jan updating me that i will be receiving the card on (Monday) 21st Jan and the representative said that i need to submit my documents. i informed the representative that i have already submitted the documents and she said that she will check and get back to me.
              Last week i tried contacting the bank and the person named Ramesh who had come to collect the documents asking about the delivery status of the card but i was asked to run around calling different numbers and no one is ready to tell me the status.
              Till now i have not received any response regarding the card whether it has been issued or not
              I need to make sure that where is my card and i am not getting any response and it seems that the representative i had called where not redy to help me out

              Please help me regarding this

              Myself is Tarun Kumar working in HDFC bank ltd civil lines, rampa towers, 3rd floor, near skylark hotel, jalandhar. A very impotant documewnt has been dispatched from Dp cell mumbai to our jalandhar office as on 31/05/2008, but the said doc is not delievered to us uptill now, I have made personal visit to your local jalandhar office yesterday ie 02/05/2008, but its not delievered to me. Even today i have called the local professional courier office, the courier is lying in the professional courier office, but they have denied delivering the said document today itsef on the reason being their is no manpower. I have talked with Mr Ram prasar his contact no is [protected], 6537470.
              You are requested to please take some appropriate action in this regard and deliever the same today itself.

              Hi,
              My name is AHSAN JAVED. I was in HDFC BANK LTD. As a sales executive, I joined HDFC BANK LTD. On 29th October 2007, I resigned from the job due to the pressure and the behaviour of my seniors. I forcefully resigned by the job on 22nd January 2008. on 22nd January my sales manager mr. RAJ BHADURI asked me to give resignation, when I asked him why you r asking me so. He told me that I can only continue with my job if I give 7 current accounts by 26th of January.
              I talked to my ASM MR, VISHAL GHAI also, but no positive response also I got from their. Even he threatened me that if I did not give my resignation he will terminate me. As I was not gotted even a singal peny from the organisation from the date of joining, I asked him to give my salary. But he replied that I did not give resignation they will not transfer my salary.
              At least I gave them resignation, my SM told me that final settlement took some time may be 1 or 2 months, n what ever the final amount is will b credited to your salary account. so you go home and keep in touch by phone. I did that,

              As today several months have been gone, yet I was not gotted my salary.

              At the time when I was I job they tortured me matally n physically also. They continuasly changed my work place every week, they call me up when I was in the market, when I reached their they stared shouting at me for the business.
              When I give them accounts they fill it by others employees code in it.

              Please help me out in this context, some time I thought that If they behave like this with their employee than how they treat there customers.

              Myself Anuj Singh S/O Virendra Pratap Singh R/O S24/3A-2 Hansnagar colony,Mahabir Mandir Road, Taktakpur, Varanasi. I Have one salary account with HDFC Bank (A/C No-[protected]) since last 4.6years. I have recently transfered to the above address 7 months back. I visited the branch manier times to change my communication address to My nearest branch at Varanasi. After several attempts. I have managed to change my communication address.The requirement for the change of communication address was as i want to change my debit card as it worn out due to which I'm feeling problem in withdrawing cash through ATM. I have visited your branch in Jaunpur. The opertaional manager denied to take the application for the same and asked to come on monday as the day was saturday and they are not in a mood to take application even on the same date.
              Even the guard at the door has denied for making entry in the branch. I have asked him that i want to talk to Mr. VIkas avasthi or Mr. Saurabh Maharaj then he said that if i'll allow you to enter in then they will scold me for the same.

              If such type of behaviour /problem a consumer will face then it will be difficult for me to keep account with your bank. If i can not withdraw my own money then what is the benefit of keeping account with such a bank...Please suggest the procedure for account closure as i can not manage to face such irresponsible behavior

                Dear sir/madam, I am a credit card holder for your Bank and the credit card no. is [protected] and due financial crisis I was not able to pay the bill from past 2 months. My Dad was hospitalized and now sister pregnant and she is expecting a child by next month.My financial condition is not that good currently and I need time to pay my bill. I had called phone banking several times to convert the outstanding amount into an EMI but they are saying that there is no offer available to make the payment into an EMI. And now I am receiving calls harrasing from dept team and collections agent and the the way they speak is totaly not acceptable, they are very rude threatening everytime. They also called on my Parents cell no:and tried to threaten them and also without my approval they sent somebody at my house and threaten my mother. If this things happen again they I need to take legal action against the HDFC bank authorities for harassing and threatening my parents. I would request the bank to please help me by converting the outstanding into an EMI and I dont them want to call on my parents cell no. and without my approval I do not want anybody to come at my premises. Please do the needful.

                Credit Card — Threaten from credit card

                Dear Sir,
                I am using SBI Credit Card for the past 1.5 Years and i am able to pay only the minimum due amount and i am not able to close the entire amount.
                I have requested them to call me after 10AM in the morning but they refused to do so and they keep on disturbing me at 8.30am.(Reason RBI has given SBI Credit Card department an approval to disturb the customer after 7.30am)
                I have paid interest and other charges more than i have spent.
                I have requested SBI credit card department to make it as EMI and i will pay the entire amount but they have refused.
                Now i have requested them for settlement option.They are threatening me that they will inform to CBIL and hence i will not able to get loan or any employment from any other company.
                As per my understanding RBI has restricted all the credit card companies not to increase the Interest Rate, but all these companies are collecting excess money from the customer indirectly(Late payment fees and other charges).
                Kindly let me know what to do.

                HDFC Bank — harrasment and thretning

                when my daughter got the job her salary account was in HDFC BANK, they offered her the credit card. she always payed the amount. but in September- 2010 she was not well and in hospital. recovery people called her and she told the exact situation and said that after some days guy can come to her place for minimum recovery amount. Same thing happened. then they called her that she has some interest on the amount. but after too much conversation HDFC people got agree that she will pay the actual amount but not the interest. and she did so. after a year HDFC bank people are calling from[protected]. to my relatives and me, that 7014/- is the left amount she has to pay. i asked them to sent me the all months detail but they said they don't have and only have the figures of current amount.I asked them that pls send me all bills month wise i will check and pay. but they r not ready to sent that on my mail i'd,and over this the r talking in abusive language . the girl from that no. is not ready to tell her name and said ''tune apni beti ko tamiz sikhai hoti tau aaj ye nahi hota''. she called my relatives landline no. and said ''hue tere ghar mai video camera lagadenge aur tere sari calls bhi tape karainge. mai tere ghar police bheg dongi.''
                this kind of language she uses.
                first of all she is not sending me details. When i ask her name and address of branch she just hangup the call.
                Is this the way to deal.
                then she is threatening us. i don't want her to call us again.
                i will settle the matter if somebody is ready to deal with respect and ready to send me all details on my mail i.d.

                  I was booked Skoda Yeti Car from JMD Auto India Pvt Ltd, Thane which cost was aprox 17 Lcs

                  HDFC bank is on panel for Car Loans of various schemes at JMD Auto India Pvt Ltd Thane.

                  After booking the car HDFC/JMD authorised executives ( Mr. Atul ) was approach to us to introduce the Car Model & Car Loan from HDFC

                  He was suggest HDFC Loan scheme of 5 years tenure of aprox 11% rate of interest & the loan amount was unknown but they committed what so ever trying for maximum Loan amount. ( closed to car value ) & he take the necessary documents from us & signed up HDFC documents which was BLANKED.

                  After few days we come to know that disbursement Rs 12 Lcs is done to JMD Auto India Pvt Ltd, Thane directly on dtd. 27/12/12 no any type of permission was taken before disbursement with Applicant / Customer from HDFC/JMD

                  • Approval for EMI ECS from SBI yet not done by us.
                  • No sanction letter yet sign up by HDFC

                  Even the above, the disbursement of Rs. 12 Lcs was made directly to JMD a/c due to insufficient sanction of loan amt we decided to cancelled the purchasing of Car accordingly I given in written to HDFC/JMD to closed the loan as on 29/1/13

                  Immediately I have received foreclosure statement from HDFC in which charges are follows up to 31/1/13

                  • Interest charge Rs. 13066/-
                  • Stamp duty charge Rs. 4920/-
                  • Cancellation charges Rs. 1000/-


                  As per the statement I was issued foreclosure chq of Rs.18987/- on dtd. 29/1/13

                  But it is observed that still JMD Auto not refunded the disbursed loan amount to HDFC hence loan a/c is not found closed in system & bank is taken first EMI on today.

                  So, I am not responsible for this disputed case & kindly resolved the matter.
                  The executive (Mr.Atul) is found leave his job.

                  The matter is reported to Consumer Forum.

                    Hi, This is pramod. I got a call from HDFC Credit card company where i have been told for platinum credit card. i provided the document for the same.

                    but when i received card it was jet privilege -HDFC card which is of no use for me. i called them to change it. they refuse to change it. and asked me to raise new request for new credit card. and existing card will be block only if i write letter to copanay. and that is wrong.. and also this card is chargable. i want it to be closed soon without charging me any xyZ amount.

                          My name is Chad Bennett and I have a Salary Account with HDFC Bank from who I also took a Credit Card # [protected] and the credit limit was 44,000. I was making regular payments towards the Credit Card however due to my wife losing her job I was unable to make the payments for 3 months. During this time I also did not have a phone due to non payment of my phone bill for a month and hence they were unable to contact me. I knew that non payment of my Credit Card amount would lead to legal action and also affect my credit rating so I decided to make a payment and called HDFC bank for a closure.

                          When called customer service, I was informed that my account was handled by Mr. Babu. When I called Mr. Babu, he redirected me to his executive Mr. Elangovan.

                          A settlement was not given to me and I was informed by Mr. Elangovan phone#[protected] from the Credit Card Division that my account will be blocked and all funds in my account will be transferred towards the credit card payment of roughly (58,000.00) until the amount was cleared. Based on this I had made an initial payment of 7,570.00 on the 3rd of January 2013 which Mr.Elangovan confirmed that he received. A day later tells me that financial charges and interest was added and my balance after making the initial payment is 50,431.00. On the 16th of January 2013 my Salary of 26,550 was directly debited towards the Credit Card .I had pleaded with them to come to a settlement due to the financial situation I was in and they did not agree with me. I did manage to borrow the money and called Mr.Elangovan on the 24th of January during the evening and advised him that I am willing to make the entire payment which was now 23,880.00 and he had confirmed that there was no additional charges and stated that once this payment was made he will send me a NOC. I went to the Credit Card Division in Chennai (Nelson Manickam Road) 4th Floor and met with Mr.Elangovan . He accompanied me to the HDFC bank opposite and he filled out the challan for the payment of 23,880.00 and during this I had requested that he provide me with a receipt of full payment received and he stated that the acknowledgement received from the bank was sufficient and promised me that the Credit Card payment was made and that I can collect the NOC on the 4th of February 2013. He called me again on the 4th then telling me that I need to pay 1064.00 more as financial charges.

                          I spoke to his Manager Mr.Babu cell phone # [protected] and he stated that they cannot not levy the charges and this payment needs to be made or I will not receive a NOC from them. When I informed Mr. Babu that I had borrowed Rs. 50000 to settle the charges and explained to him about my situation. His response was "If you can borrow Rs. 50000, try to arrange Rs. 1000 more as it is not a big amount". This is very disappointing. in spite of arranging the money and settling my account, I am being forced to pay additionally for Financial Charges even after my Card was completely blocked on 1st of January, 2013. This is mental harassment.

                          I cannot pay anymore money as I have no funds available and seek assistance in a withdrawal of the amount of Rs.1064.00 and necessary action taken against the necessary representative Mr.Elangovan and his Manager Mr.Babu.

                          One of my friend had a similar problem where they made settlement to the HDFC bank same branch and in spite of paying the amount, they weren't willing to give the NOC. It is definitely a mental harassment and fraudulent behavior by the bank and their employees

                            This is to inform you that I Olivia Mamani have availed of a loan from HDFC Bank on 1st August 2009, my loan account no is 15222041 and I have made payment towards this loan since then.



                            But since April 2012, i am unable to make payments towards the same due to some problems in my family.



                            I had taken this loan to help my sister in law, initially she paid the loan instalments but then she stopped as a result of which i started paying the loan. i lost my job in May 2011 but i still continued paying the loan from the provident fund i got, but that money also got exhausted, so i started to work in a school to support my family but my husband also lost his job and could not get a job due to which there were a lot of differences in the family and we parted ways and no longer stay together. I stay alone with my 4 year old son in my friends house.



                            I had approached the HDFC Loan Department on 18th April 2012 to ask for a settlement of my loan at a less amount as i was unable to make payments for the same.



                            In the month of November i was constantly called up by the HDFC Loan Department Officials, they asked me to come and speak to them, i went to their office but i could not meet the concerned person as he was always out.



                            I have not received any communication whatsoever from the Bank since then.



                            However on Saturday evening 2nd February 2013 at 17:28 i got a call from one Mr Azhar who claimed to be calling on behalf of HDFC Bank Loan Department.



                            he asked me if i was aware that my file was logged in to legal, to which i replied yes i am aware as when i was speaking to another official in November 2012 he informed me that the file would be logged in to legal if i did not make the payments on time.



                            So he stated that my loan file has gone to the legal department and that a non bailable warrant has been issued in my name for 10th Feb 2013, due to non payment of the loan instalment.



                            After which I explained to him my situation and that i would not be able to make the payment as i draw a less salary and i cannot support my son's expenses as well as pay the loan instalment i also informed him about the conversation i had with the HDFC official in November about the same and that i had not received any revert from them at that point of time and suddenly out of nowhere he calls me and says that a non bailable warrant has been issued in my name.



                            To which he replied that if i wanted to stop the legal proceeding then i need to pay at least 2000 towards the loan and the warrant will not be issued i said how is that possible as i have not received any calls before about this and it is not a case that i am absconding or changed my mobile number or not answering the calls. infact i have personally visited the branch and informed them about my situation and also wanted to do a settlement for a less amount for which i was called but not attended to



                            to which he replied you see what you want to do in any case you dont have the money to settle the loan so you can atleast take 2000 from your parents or someone and make the payment and stop the legal proceeding



                            so i asked him if he expected me to sit with my 4 year old son in the jail as obviously i had no support whatsoever from any of my so called family to which again he replied to pay the 2000 orelse the non bailable warrant will be issued and that it was my call



                            this is to bring to your notice the harrasment of your HDFC Loan Department. kindly enlighten me as to where did i go wrong and what is my mistake being a responsible customer i visited your branch and informed you about my situation i asked for a solution but got no help being single mother my first and only priority is my son if you want to put me in jail because of that then that is your call but be rest assured i am not going to leave my son at home i will make sure he sits with me in jail and sees what his father and the HDFC Loan Department has put us through.

                                My name is Olivia Mamani and I have been harrased by the recovery team of HDFC bank due to late payment of Personal Loans. I am a single mother living all by myself supporting my 4 year old son. I have informed the bank that I am unable to make the entire payment due to poor financial conditions. Inspite of which they have been harrasing me for the same. I have even offered to pay a part of it to settle off the loan but the recovery team doesnt seem to acknowledge my concern. I have been threatened that a non bailable warrant will be issued in my name. I am facing mental distress due to all this.
                                Oh get over it you big crybaby, get a backbone. Don't be such a wuss. If you were a man making this complaint I would tell you to get a set of balls.

                                HDFC Bank Credit Card — Personal Harrasment

                                I am holding HDFC credit card and paying regularly each month the amount said to me. But still I am abused by some officials of collection department of HDFC credit card division-Kolkata in a low manner. They are not only harrasing me but also to my 70 years old mother using wrong words about my late father . They called up my neighours and used ill languages for me and my family also.Each and every time some new one introduced herself as a manager and before I told anything she started to abusing me using bad languages about my charecter. I am in a very bad mental state and need help from the bank itself otherwise I wouldn't have be any other option but to appeal to Human Rights to save my self respect.

                                  My name is Terence Pinto. On request i would provide my credit card
                                  number. I am 2 months past due on my card due to my salary been late
                                  and some personal issues. I received a call today on 15:25. I could
                                  not pick up because I was on another call.

                                  This lady calls up my office number and speaks to a colleague of mine
                                  saying that she is calling from courier company. I was on another
                                  call. I kept the phone and spoke to her.She said that she is calling
                                  from HDFC Bank CC and was asking the payment. I told her to call my
                                  cell number. I also told her since my salary has not come i could not
                                  make payment.

                                  I asked her to call on my cell. She called on my cell on 15:29.

                                  I told the lady I have not received my salary yet. Once I receive i
                                  would make my payment. She asked me date I said by 4th or 5th.

                                  My question is I wanted to discuss with her the details as well as
                                  some settlement that I want to do. She was insisting on how will I
                                  make the payment. I told her will do by cheque or transfer.

                                  I wanted to discuss on settlement she bluntly disconnected the call.

                                  Is this how you treat your consumers. I wanted to discuss settlement
                                  and close the account and you guys and disconnecting the call.

                                  It was only once you called me and if phone is busy why don't you call
                                  after some time. I will pick up. Besides, if I mess up you people will
                                  report my rating to CIBIL as irregular payment or defaulter.

                                  If this is the attitude, I don't want to continue with HDFC.

                                  In future, if i receive any call on my office number or somebody
                                  visiting my house/office I am going to raise a police complaint
                                  against HDFC.

                                  Also, i am putting a complaint on consumer forum so that people also
                                  understand the ill-treatment faced by customers.

                                  HDFC Credit Card — Harassing call to my wife

                                  This is in reference to card no [protected], for which HDFC bank and its collection agents are harassing us again. Last Saturday Vivek Sharma called from 45501819 on my wife’s mobile claiming that he is a bank employee. He said that he can help her reduce the amount of rs 27, 000 to rs 6000, if and only if my wife agrees to meet him. This is indeed harrowing! Eventually when she asked him for his employee code –m he refused to share it. Later we discovered that it is collection agency.

                                  HDFC Credit Card — Harashment calls

                                  My name is Mr. Hira Motyani from Ahmednagar (M.S) my credit card no is : [protected], last month I failed to pay the credit card bill, I started receiving calls from Ms. Madhuri from PUNE[protected] Sir I don’t know whether I would be wrong but honestly speaking the above executives really don’t have manner to speak for collection. They are using a lower grade talk. Sir this is not a way to speak with any customers, even that executive told me that “aapki hesiyet nahin hai credit card use karne ki”. What does it mean. if we are not capable o[censored]sing the card then why did the bank issued the credit card, why our card is still active. From last 5 years I am using the credit card, but I had never came across these kind of words. The language that the executive was speaking was just rubbish, a lower grade people use.
                                  Sir I m waiting for your reply that please take necessary action or please teach the above executive to speak well. Bcoz the people represents the company.
                                  Though if we fail to pay the bill, then bank charge us for late payment. we are ready for paying the late fees charges then is there any reason to talk like this without knowing the background of the person.                                   Due to recession i've lost my job and could not make last payment on time.because of that i've been harassed by the HDFC Bank credit card's agency. though i have made the request that i'll make the payment today itself as soon as get my salries credit into my bank a/c., but they did not listen me ultimetly having tiered i gone to nearest police station and made the complain against bank.

                                  HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                                  That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers. They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and write off in cibil.

                                  They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost


                                  Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                                    I just want to inform you that on 20th of Oct 2012 there was disputed transaction happened through my credit card ([protected]) between 9:50 P.M to 10:10 P.M amount 24500. Same time called to the customer care HDFC and blocked the card. I have also logged a FIR in New colony Police Station and submitted one copy of FIR to ICICI bank New colony morh gurgaon. I have asked them to provide a cct camera footage of duration 9:45 PM to 10:10 PM of 20th of oct 2012 of ICICI ATM Bhim Nagar. Moreover I have submitted a complaint application and credit dispute form along with police FIR copy to HDFC Bank executive. Letter Ref No:- [protected].
                                    Moreover I have not received any confirmation letter or E-mail from HDFC bank regarding settlement of dispute amount, Even after multiple follow up from customer care but unfortunately nobody has solved my disputed amount ( Ref no [protected] , [protected]). Beside that I will defiantly pay credit amount which was used by me.

                                    I would be highly thankful, if you would help me to solve my credit dispute amount and other extra interest charges.

                                      Subject :-Complaint Against HDFC SL for unfair business practice ,false commitment and cheating.(Recordings of the communication needed)
                                      Sir ,
                                      I am Priti Chatterjee (policy no.[protected] ,my husband received a call on 13th august 2012 tlling him that there is a insurance policy from hdfc sl which if enrolled on that day will give some extra benefits and if he takes it in the name of his wife will give more benefits and that will be given to me in writing.
                                      The benefits offered were
                                      1. Guaranteed return of Rs.590000. on premium of Rs. 30000 for seven years.
                                      2. Which include bonus for that day Rs.30000
                                      3. Women reservation bonus Rs.30000
                                      4. General bonus Rs.30000.
                                      5. 3days /night stay in any three star hotels for two in India valid for 10 years(i.e till 2022)
                                      6. Insurance of Rs.191441 .
                                      But when I received the insurance kit there was no mention of the Rs.590000 ,but I received the tour voucher(no.853706)( Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938) which was valid up to 30th June, 2012. After which I repeatedly called Mr.siddhartha mukherjee (mob. No. [protected]) who told me that I will get the written bond with Rs.590000 mentioned in it in 3-4 days which I have not received till date and I was not able to surrender my policy with in the free look period.
                                      After that I have lodged numerous complaints with their grievance cell and igms but instead they send me a letter which said the disadvantage of surrendering the policy after the free look period.
                                      Then I have asked for the recordings of the conversation with me /husband and Mr. Siddhartha Mukherjee for which they called me and tried to convince me that the policy is good and will nearly give me the same benefits.
                                      I need the premium of the policy back with interest and recordings of the communication with me and the company/ broker (INDIA INFOLINE).
                                      I expect a lot from your office as I have made lot of online complaints but with no response so kindly see to
                                      the matter and respond judiciously.

                                        i am vivek kumar pathak, applied for a credit card (teacher platinum card) of hdfc bank. when i applied, i was informed that the annual fee of the card is Rs. 299, and it will be reverted if i will shop for Rs. 5000 or more within first three months from the date of activation of card. now i received a statement regarding my annual fee, of Rs. 448.32. i called the customer care they told me that annul fee of that card (teachers platinum) is 448.32 and it can be reverted if i will shop for Rs. 15000 within three months. now i want to solve out this problem with the plan which was informed.
