HDFC Bank Standard Life Insurance Company Limited — Cheating In HDFC UNIT LINKED PENSION PLUS PLAN

I have taken Sir Utha Ke Jeyo plan policy no 11802169 marketed by such a reputed company called HDFC standard life Insurance company of renowned Industrialist and businessman Deepak Pareikh in approval with Insurance Regulatory Developement Authority. This plan HDFC UNIT LINKED PENSION PLUS PLAN has got some very interesting features for the benefit of the company at the cost of the customer which will never let any investor live ''SIR UTHA KAR''. Brief are as follows:
1. No Insurance of your life but the policy is being sold by a Life Insurance Company with approval of IRDA.
2. No Guarantee of your Principal Amount, only NAV of your units is payable in case of event.
3. Straight away 50% is deducted on account of Premium Allocation Rate which no investor understands at the time of taking policy. Only rest of 50% is invested in units at the prevailing NAV.
4. I have invested Rs.100, 000/- last year on 31/3/2008 and the present value of my units is only Rs.30000/-. Rs.70, 000/- gone straight away.
5. Insurance consultant Sudhanshu at that time posted with Saket Branch, New Delhi is not traceable, Mr Ganesh at call centre[protected] have no answer except to say that go to the branch office and lodge your complaint.
6. IRDA is not having any office in New Delhi except Mr. Bajaj who picks up the phone and advises you to write to Hydrabad office to senior officer.
My questions are:
How a Insurance company can offer Non Insurance Products?
Why the name of 50% Expense Premium Allocation Rate is not kept Premium Allocation Charges?
Why a wrong indicative application form got signed at the time of getting induced to buy a policy?
Is is the fair business practice by such a reputed company?
Why the Government of India has allowed taxation benefit u/s 80 to the taxpayers for investment in such products where there is no insurance, no social security, no national development?
Isn't it for providing indirect benefit to these companies?
Please advise can I do anything? Would anybody like to join me in this matter if he has got same grievances.

HDFC Unit link young star — Cheque given to representative, but not yet produced in HDFC

I issued a cheque on 17.02.2009 to HDFC representative Ms. Debastuti (HDFC-SLIC [protected]).But till now she can't submit my cheque to HDFC office. I am also one of the victims of this fund. My policy No. is 12054156 and invested Rs.1, 00, 000/- at the first instant thinking insurance cover is available. Also, I was not briefed about adjustment of Rs.50, 000/- towards service charges. When I tried to contact the Insurance office for cancellation of the policy they have refused the same with a pretest, 2 days lapsed above 15 days

HDFC SL Ltd — premium

I applied for CRITICAL CARE plan of HDFC SL Ltd(Jamnagar Gujrat). and I gave premium of Rs 2545/- and my application form to Mr Vivek Y Chauhan a Sales Devlopment manager of HDFC SL Ltd. He has now resigned and I am trying to contact him. He once said -he will not give my money. I request you t resolve this issue.

HDFC — customer care cheat

i have rquested to customer care not to process my check for payement my credit card account and collect cash from me because i have not sufficent amount in my bank account, customer representive agree to this and send a field boy to collect cash i have pay the amount and ask to not process my check
but the process my check and because of that i get penalty on my both credit card account and also on my saving account so i have to pay double fine on both side becuse of bank

Same thing goes with other policies of HDFC Insurance company. ULIP Endowment plus only invests 40% of the 1'st year premium and my current losses in this policy is 80k out of 180k that I've paid in the span of 3 years. There are no ways of surrendering these policies for the 3 years as set by IRDA.
I had to pay premiums for these years forcefully to stop the policy from lapse. I am only hoping to get atleast 80% of my premiums by July 2010. Fingers crossed..

HDFC Standare life has the worst policy that any body can invest in. I am also struck with Rs 55000. The HDFC bank manager and an employee told me all lies about the policy and traped me of my hard earned money in HDFC standard Life savings assurance plan .They fordged my signature and issued SI/ecs in my name. Once they got my money, they say that they dont know any thing and contact HDFC standard office.So pathetic. I never thought that a bank manager would do such cheap thing for making some quick bucks as commission. Never buy any policy of HDFC standard life. All fake promises and forgery are done by the employees of this company. Never trust these people.Save your money.

HDFC employees and branch manager gets very good commision if they can trap any HDFC customer and trap them in worst policies of HDFC Standard Life, whose terms and conditions are only benificial to the company(Standard Life) and customers get nothing at all.They will always try to hard sell the standard life's "Savings assurance plan" because they get very good commision.HDFC Standard Life employees are getting salary by cheating and fordging and traping inocent customers of there hard earned money. In the name of tax saving they would fool u and say that the returns on this policy is tax free.There would be around 12% return etc. Actuall u will learn that there is no return from this policy, what is the use of tax saving on return on investment 80DD, when actually there is no return from this investment.File police complaint immediately i[censored]r signature is forged by the HDFC Standard employees.By the time u understand that u are fooled, u will be trapped.the terms and conditions are such that U will either stop making further premium payment and loose ur first premium completly, like me, or pay other premium and get no benifit at all. The HDFC bank employees including the manager will fool you with lots of false promises. But i[censored] ask them to give what they have said with the signature of bank manager on HDFC bank notepad with the HDFC bank seal, they will never give that. Because that can be used as proof of there false and misleading information about the Savings assurance plan and other plans. Dont be fooled. Save ur self. HDFC standard only cheats customers. I am one of the fooled and cheated and traped customer of the company. It is far better to invest in any other tax saving like FD which will atleast give u 7% return.

Option-2, Standard Property type 1, Rs. 1.50 lakhs — I have not received my 1st payout due.

I am supposed to get a cheque for Rs. 22500/- for
the 1st pay out date at 15th Dec, 2009. But I have not
received it so far.

Also the website at my back office does not indicate
any released payment, why?

When there is a provision for payout each at 15th
and 30th of the month, why I was not issued the
relevant Payout/Cheque.

It's funny and annoying to see that the email addresses

I got cheated by HDFC Young star II plan similar way BY HDFC standard life Insurance plan. I paid 22500 in 9 Instalments of Rs 2500 each. Finally after 9 months
I received statement and my holding of the account was only 5500.I have questioned
my Agent about by balance 17000 of money . I have been told that money bank keeps in suspence account and you will receive money after Three years.

dear all,

welcome to the world o[censored]lip insurance. i'm sure its better to throw you money in a casino u have better chance to get a return. these not only hdfc but others too are blood sucking worms. i have been a victim of bajaj allianze capital unit gain policy which is consistantly sucking my hard earned money every year. and iv to pay my premium for 20 yrs jst to keep my policy alive and take my capital at least back after 20 yrs. but now at least i'm once bitten twice shy... guys i tell you a few things next time you buy a policy.

1. take the detailed policy brochure in original not photocopy from the agent depicting the following things.

. premium allocation charges for all yrs ( varies from 40 to 100% of your hard earned money for free :-).
. policy admin. charges ( from 600 to 800 per yr)
. fund management charges ( 1.2 to 1.7 % per yr of total fund) though they never touch yr fund.
. surrender charges ( after 3, 4, 5, yrs)
. fund switching charges.
. mortality and accident benefit charges.
. miscleneous charges.
. service charges.
2. fund performance: always ask your agent which fund you should opt for and please see fund performance for at least past two yrs. its easily available on net. its sure you wont be able to see that growth which the agent is boasting of.

3. keep your questions ready when you meet the agent, see his identity card of insurance agency. try and record the conversation and his commitments ( which will certainly be false). now confirm and crosscheck everything by the brochure available or by net or by their original customer care help line. if you find any difference. be sure to teach a lesson to the agent . bring him to the book. call the police. but ...
why these many headaches... follow one rule...

FD'S AND PPF'S ARE BEST. FOR HIGHER RETURNS INVEST IN SHARES. AT LEAST YOU KNOW YOUR RISK.
