I have applied for a new debit card as my previous card was damaged.
Hdfc bank despatch new debit card by blue dart courier. docket no AWB- [protected].
But blue dart is not delivering to me. And giving reply as my address is incorrect. But my account is with HDFC from Last 3 yrs then how can be my address wrong.

but on wards 20/05/09 i will not receive my debit card on my mailing address after that custmer care only erace complaint but no proper response

    HDFC BANK LTD.

    Myself is Chetan Majithiya. I am in HDFC Bank Ltd in Amreli (0595) branch, as a CoEx in (Contract Sales Executive( RIG-RURAL- 65075). I joined HDFC Bank Ltd. on 15thSept. 2008. My interview has been taken by S.M (Mr. Hitesh Paneliya-H0785). He collected my all educational certificate and signed a new joinee form and asked me, ‘now you are appointed as a CSE and your APL will come soon’. I worked hard for six months (Sept.-march.)
    I didn’t get satisfactory reason. I was very disappointed.I got no positive response. I was very disappointed. I talked to Branch Head (Mr.kritin kamdar). I have no positive response got from their. I was very disappointed to the behavior of my seniors. After that he has not allowed and scared me that you can’t call and meet with my senior’s.
    I COULDN’T SIGNED IN ATTENDENCE REGISTER. DURING THE PERIOD FROM 1st February ’09 to 30th Feb’09, BECAUSE OF S.M.he ( Hitesh paneliya )he asked me to sign in only 15 days attendamce.and cut down my 16 days salary when I was on duty.When. I had completed my target successfully from the period of March 09 than after he given me APL then he permit me to sign in attendance register on 15.03.2009
    S.M irritated me mentally. He called me up when I was in the field, when I reached branch at that time, he started shouting at me for the business. Due to pressure I was not feeling well. At that time I was very mentally disturbed. Due to this problem I was not able to achieve my target in Feb 2009. On 1st April 2009 S.M (Hitesh Paneliya) asked me to resign.or he will terminate me I requestly asked him I would resign on 30th April. But he is not ready to take it he is demanding resign letter of 1st april .it.
    He threatened me that if I didn’t give resignation, he will terminate me. He didn’t permit me to sign in attendance register. Inspite of my signature, he cancelled it.
    (I don’t know about this reason). Till today I am ready to resign but he is not accepting it.

    Honorable court, Please solve my problem out in this context. I believe in court. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND MY CAREER. That is why I have filled a case against it. My experience with HDFC Bank is not good yet I am working with a proper way. Justice demanded it.
    WHY? THIS IS A SIMPLY VIOLATION OF THE COMPANY LAW. THAT IS WHY I AM FORWORDING MY LETTER TO THE COMPANY LAW CODE AND DEMANDING FOR MY RIGHTS. IT’S FOR YOU TO JUDGE. I M VERY DISAPPOINTED IF I SHALL DO SOMETHING WRONG THEN ITS ALL BECAUSE OF HDFC BANK LTD. PLEASE GENERATE MY SALARY.
    I DEMANDED FOR JUSTICE AND FOR MY RIGHTS. PLEASE HELP ME. I M VERY TENSED.

      Our loan is transfer from BOP to HDFC bank . At today's date interest rate charged to us is 12%. When is asked for explanation on why as other bank already offering 8- 9.25%, their reply is as follow

      As a measure of transparency, the rationale behind the revision in rates has been highlighted in our letter dated December 10th, 2008 and we request you to accept this . Our Home Loan PLR was increased by 0.75 % in July, 0.75 % in August and has been revised downward by 0.5 % in December, 2008. The net increase of 1 % applied with effect from December 1st, 2008.

      Our Bank could not react during July/ August due to the ongoing process of merger of the erstwhile Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd. This has indirectly resulted in a huge benefit to our esteemed home loan customers.

      PLEASE HELP THIS WAY OUR LOAN WILL NEVER END TILL WE DIE.

      Yes, you are 100% correct, now mine rate is 13% since Dec 2008 and not decreased till now..
      I waited too long to cut the interest rate but it seems that HDFC bank is not willing to cut down int rate for the CBOP customers, hence planning to transfer my loan to some Govt Bank.
      yes, the bank is taking us for a ride .they are treating old bop custers as step children i think all the old cbop customers file a PIL aginst the bank, or do something so that this coerrsion is stoped.
      this is the [censored]est bank i have worked with. on one hand they would call you that they would give you a preferrential status in saving ac on other hand they overcharge you.

      Right, I was also a customer of CBOP. After taking over the CBOP HDFC bank has increased interest rate to 13 %. Even for documents needed to transfer the loan, they are not co-operative at all. This is the worst bank I have dealt in life. Please come together and do something against them

      I have faced following problems with hdfc bank perticularly valid for CBOP home loan customers

      1. they have increased the interest rate to 12%
      2. They have stopped giving account statements (you will need this if you want to transfer your loan)
      If you want it you have to make a personal visit to hdfc bank retail loan branch and shell out 330 rs.
      CBOp used to send it free of cost twice a year via email.
      3. They will not give you letter stating what all documents thay are holding related to your property unless you give them Rs.550/- for this also you have to a personal visit. You need this letter also to transfer your loan (CBOP leter is no more valid)

      4. Foreclosure amount is 1.65% of total loan amount disbursed not the outstanding principal amount

      Point is CBOP didnt informed us of all these charges, and CBOP used to send this to me free of cost.
      hdfc has started to charge fpor it without informing CBOP customers.

      This is gross voilation of RBI gudelines and a good case against HDFc bank in consumer court. Each one o[censored]s can get good compensation from hdfc bank on these grounds.

      I am hoping if someone has a copy of CBOP home loan terms and conditions then Please foeard it to me at [protected]@hotmail.com. I have already filed a complaint with banking ombudsman and shall be taking it further to the consumer court.

      BTW : I asked the HPLR of bank and bank replied it with 11.50 percent.
      today I dropped them mail asking why you are charging me 12.75% interest rate if hprl is 11.5% and my cbop agreement states that my interest rate will be PLR + 0.5%

      Please chk your agreement copy for your interest rate.
      Mine is PLR + 0.5 and current PLR rate for HDFC is 11.50

      lets join our hands to fight in consumer forum.
      Lets make a group of all such people in pain.
      We will vehemently approach these banks and ask for clariffication and for damages incured to us. But we need unity in doing this.
      So lets make a group of all such people and then let file a suit against these banks charging high interest rates and not reacting at time of reducing rates even when we are older customer. Even when we ask for repayment they ask for processing charges.

      One person can not do anything against these people. I have decided to go against the banks and looking forward for your cooperation.

      Hi,
      There is no need to pay processing charges while making extra payment against Home Loan. Please read your agreement, it is clearly mentioned.

      If you have problem, Please mail to aditya.[protected]@hdfcbank.com your all complaints will get solved, if hdfc did not reply in a month, you can go to consumer court.

      the same way I did and all my queries got resolved. Now my current interest rate is 11.25 %

      i already have home loan in cosmos bank @9.5% but i like to transfer it to hdfc bank may it possible?
      I am also ofthe sameview that HDFC Bank is harassing the cbop homeloan customers as they have to deal with them being a home loan a/c. Otherwise HDFC Bank is not giving any home loan. It is the HDFC, their holding company which deals with Home Loan. If HDFC bank do not want to deal with cbop homeloan customers they should tansfer theirloans to HDFC so that the treatment they will get will be the same as of other home loan customers. Further the PLR rate of HDFC Bank is higherwhereas cbop usedto keep its PLR rate less than other banks. Also HDFC Bank should make fresh agreement with cbop customers as they were not aware of this merger of cbop with HDFC Bank andcbop gave extra low interest to attract customers fortaking home loan from them.
      In my view we should fight together for the justification. I am with all of cbop home loan customers and ready to fight collectively.

        Hi,

        I had a hdfc credit card.i had used the credit limit of 12000...but I was not able to pay back in time..
        So i kept paying the minimum interest for more than a year...and finally i settled the amount..they waived of some charges as well...but now i want to know if my name is in cibil as a defaulter...All the loans that i apply get rejected and they say i am a defaulter...but the bank never mentioned about this during the settlement..please help..now im in a good job and need some help...

        I would like say Iam user of hdfc credit card last hailf and year. but last Feb 2009 Iam not receive statement .I don't now how much i am paid in between march i am not in indore and one of collection man in my home talk rabish... lot of then l am talk indore hdfc credit card service center one women girl name is jain she told to me what ever we finish matter and very politly talk his commitment to me I am waiver charges and Iagree she say and three months statement post my home I am show statement amount 6000 above debit charges she told me deposite some of rupees 1340/- and I am deposited 29/05/09 after I am talk customer care service all the matter and replay to me this wrong commitment indore service and woman girl told me very loudly and told me you go to jail and very rudly replay? what heppened me say I am very Disappointed kha karu replay me

          Hi,
          This is in regards to the amount (11, 000/) debited from my Hdfc account by the HDFC credit card division. Without any intimation. I used to have a credit card of hdfc which I wanted to get canclled I had made lot of calls to the call centre and send several mails also but no one got back to me. I had send the mails through my personall id to the main office in chennai. After sending so many mails and repeated phone calls I also stopped the follow up as I was very busy with my work. Than few days back i had called to check on the status of my cancelltion of credit card i spoke to a female named preeti and she told me that my total outstanding is 68000 approx including the interests. I told her that it is not my fault and that the bank is putting in so much of interest charges and I will be paying only the principal amount, after somtime she agreed on the principal charges and told me that someone will come to my residence with the account clousre letter . another girl from the same office told me that its only 15000/- u have to pay.but she didnt tell her name as she felt my emotions.(They have already charged Rs 11000 and now asking for anothet 68000/.They are harrasing me mentally . would appreciate if you can help me to get my whole amkount back. I have my full intentions to pay the principal amount only as from myside I tried my best to cancell the credit card but I did not get any response from the bank. Now again they have kept an hold on my account. Please help me. My number [protected].[protected].

            I have taken Sir Utha Ke Jeyo plan policy no 11802169 marketed by such a reputed company called HDFC standard life Insurance company of renowned Industrialist and businessman Deepak Pareikh in approval with Insurance Regulatory Developement Authority. This plan HDFC UNIT LINKED PENSION PLUS PLAN has got some very interesting features for the benefit of the company at the cost of the customer which will never let any investor live ''SIR UTHA KAR''. Brief are as follows:
            1. No Insurance of your life but the policy is being sold by a Life Insurance Company with approval of IRDA.
            2. No Guarantee of your Principal Amount, only NAV of your units is payable in case of event.
            3. Straight away 50% is deducted on account of Premium Allocation Rate which no investor understands at the time of taking policy. Only rest of 50% is invested in units at the prevailing NAV.
            4. I have invested Rs.100, 000/- last year on 31/3/2008 and the present value of my units is only Rs.30000/-. Rs.70, 000/- gone straight away.
            5. Insurance consultant Sudhanshu at that time posted with Saket Branch, New Delhi is not traceable, Mr Ganesh at call centre[protected] have no answer except to say that go to the branch office and lodge your complaint.
            6. IRDA is not having any office in New Delhi except Mr. Bajaj who picks up the phone and advises you to write to Hydrabad office to senior officer.
            My questions are:
            How a Insurance company can offer Non Insurance Products?
            Why the name of 50% Expense Premium Allocation Rate is not kept Premium Allocation Charges?
            Why a wrong indicative application form got signed at the time of getting induced to buy a policy?
            Is is the fair business practice by such a reputed company?
            Why the Government of India has allowed taxation benefit u/s 80 to the taxpayers for investment in such products where there is no insurance, no social security, no national development?
            Isn't it for providing indirect benefit to these companies?
            Please advise can I do anything? Would anybody like to join me in this matter if he has got same grievances.

            HDFC — customer care cheat

            i have rquested to customer care not to process my check for payement my credit card account and collect cash from me because i have not sufficent amount in my bank account, customer representive agree to this and send a field boy to collect cash i have pay the amount and ask to not process my check

            Same thing goes with other policies of HDFC Insurance company. ULIP Endowment plus only invests 40% of the 1'st year premium and my current losses in this policy is 80k out of 180k that I've paid in the span of 3 years. There are no ways of surrendering these policies for the 3 years as set by IRDA.
            I had to pay premiums for these years forcefully to stop the policy from lapse. I am only hoping to get atleast 80% of my premiums by July 2010. Fingers crossed..

            HDFC Standare life has the worst policy that any body can invest in. I am also struck with Rs 55000. The HDFC bank manager and an employee told me all lies about the policy and traped me of my hard earned money in HDFC standard Life savings assurance plan .They fordged my signature and issued SI/ecs in my name. Once they got my money, they say that they dont know any thing and contact HDFC standard office.So pathetic. I never thought that a bank manager would do such cheap thing for making some quick bucks as commission. Never buy any policy of HDFC standard life. All fake promises and forgery are done by the employees of this company. Never trust these people.Save your money.

            HDFC employees and branch manager gets very good commision if they can trap any HDFC customer and trap them in worst policies of HDFC Standard Life, whose terms and conditions are only benificial to the company(Standard Life) and customers get nothing at all.They will always try to hard sell the standard life's "Savings assurance plan" because they get very good commision.HDFC Standard Life employees are getting salary by cheating and fordging and traping inocent customers of there hard earned money. In the name of tax saving they would fool u and say that the returns on this policy is tax free.There would be around 12% return etc. Actuall u will learn that there is no return from this policy, what is the use of tax saving on return on investment 80DD, when actually there is no return from this investment.File police complaint immediately i[censored]r signature is forged by the HDFC Standard employees.By the time u understand that u are fooled, u will be trapped.the terms and conditions are such that U will either stop making further premium payment and loose ur first premium completly, like me, or pay other premium and get no benifit at all. The HDFC bank employees including the manager will fool you with lots of false promises. But i[censored] ask them to give what they have said with the signature of bank manager on HDFC bank notepad with the HDFC bank seal, they will never give that. Because that can be used as proof of there false and misleading information about the Savings assurance plan and other plans. Dont be fooled. Save ur self. HDFC standard only cheats customers. I am one of the fooled and cheated and traped customer of the company. It is far better to invest in any other tax saving like FD which will atleast give u 7% return.

            Option-2, Standard Property type 1, Rs. 1.50 lakhs — I have not received my 1st payout due.

            I am supposed to get a cheque for Rs. 22500/- for
            the 1st pay out date at 15th Dec, 2009. But I have not
            received it so far.

            Also the website at my back office does not indicate
            any released payment, why?

            When there is a provision for payout each at 15th
            and 30th of the month, why I was not issued the
            relevant Payout/Cheque.

            It's funny and annoying to see that the email addresses

            I got cheated by HDFC Young star II plan similar way BY HDFC standard life Insurance plan. I paid 22500 in 9 Instalments of Rs 2500 each. Finally after 9 months
            I received statement and my holding of the account was only 5500.I have questioned
            my Agent about by balance 17000 of money . I have been told that money bank keeps in suspence account and you will receive money after Three years.

            welcome to the world o[censored]lip insurance. i'm sure its better to throw you money in a casino u have better chance to get a return. these not only hdfc but others too are blood sucking worms. i have been a victim of bajaj allianze capital unit gain policy which is consistantly sucking my hard earned money every year. and iv to pay my premium for 20 yrs jst to keep my policy alive and take my capital at least back after 20 yrs. but now at least i'm once bitten twice shy... guys i tell you a few things next time you buy a policy.

            1. take the detailed policy brochure in original not photocopy from the agent depicting the following things.

            . premium allocation charges for all yrs ( varies from 40 to 100% of your hard earned money for free :-).
            . policy admin. charges ( from 600 to 800 per yr)
            . fund management charges ( 1.2 to 1.7 % per yr of total fund) though they never touch yr fund.
            . surrender charges ( after 3, 4, 5, yrs)
            . fund switching charges.
            . mortality and accident benefit charges.
            . miscleneous charges.
            . service charges.
            2. fund performance: always ask your agent which fund you should opt for and please see fund performance for at least past two yrs. its easily available on net. its sure you wont be able to see that growth which the agent is boasting of.

            3. keep your questions ready when you meet the agent, see his identity card of insurance agency. try and record the conversation and his commitments ( which will certainly be false). now confirm and crosscheck everything by the brochure available or by net or by their original customer care help line. if you find any difference. be sure to teach a lesson to the agent . bring him to the book. call the police. but ...
            why these many headaches... follow one rule...

            Dear Sir,

            I had invested in an Insurance Scheme in 2005. Rs. 5 lkhs premium plus Rs 3 lkhs during consecutive yrs till 2008. Now they have canceled this scheme and paid us Rs 4 lkhs cheque t, that too in Indian Rs., while the ac was NRE. The bank involved is HDFC, Pathanamthitta. Name of Agents involved are Jitesh, Satish, Biju.

            Kindly look into this matter urgently.

            There is little point in getting angry. How do victims organize themselves and present a cogent, rational complaint to the Insurance regulatory authorities, explaining how the policies are anti-customer and how the employees and agents cheat the customers for the sake of a commission? Twin aims: Others must beware of this legal scam and we must also get some relief.
            Please let me know who can take the lead (I am unable to do it for personal reasons but will join anyone). We should draft a joint petition and make sure that authorities who can take action listen to us, read our complaint. We must also complain through Press/Media. Insurance industry Ombudsman may help. Ideas welcome.
            I am ex-serviceman of Indian Air Force who had served the nation for 15 years at diffeent location . I thought of some investments last year and subsequently I had purchased following two ULIP insuracne from HDFC of worth 4.00.000 (the full details are mentioned below), but while purchasing them I was not at all informed about the charges and debits. Upon receiveng the statement I was shoked to note that only 60% of my investment has been invested in market and my presnt fund value is just 1.20, 0000 which is very disgusting to understand.Its open misuse of my hard earned money.

            When I had talked to HDFC they are saying they can not help me out, and also by seeing the satement I do not want continue to pay the premium against these policies.

            Now may I request you to please treat this as most urgent and please make HDFC to cancel my both policies and refund the amount which I have invested with them

            I am old employee of Bajaj Allianz Life Ins. Co. Ltd. I
            joined on Sept.2006, We were given training of all the policies only
            about SALLING FEATURES of the policies and nothing was told that what
            company will take Surrender Charges from the Customers.
            One Policy was CAPITAL UNIT GAIN, started in Dec.2006
            and we were told that this policy will be counted of value 100% in your
            and branch's account. So sell this policy maximum. We promoted this
            policy only to the Agents, to sell. After some time I came to hear that
            this policy was banned by IRDA and so selling was closed in app.
            SEPT, 2007. IRDA said that this policy is not Customer's friendly and
            there are huge hidden charges in this policy.
            Sir, I am sending you some Attachments with this mail
            taken from Internet regarding this policy. You also can check from
            Internet yourself about this policy. One attachment is regarding its
            DETAIL. There is clearly mentioned that on Surrender, company will give
            100% of its Fund Value.
            Sir, I need this that if Policy was banned by IRDA then
            all the old Customers will also be given Relaxation in this policy in
            Surrender and other issues for what grounds this policy was banned.
            Sir, Now after 3 years completion company is deducting about 60% of
            First Year Premium from the customers.
            Please see the matter at priority, hoping for early

            my name is suresh, and i am from cochin, i taken one metlife insurance policy. Rs. 6000/ in every half year. I already paid 3 premium, after that i just check what would be my fund value. metlife people telling my fund value is only Rs. 3300/- rest of the full amount utilised as the charges. My first 2 premium of Rs. 12000 fully be allocation charges and when i paid my third premium, , they debited Rs. 1854 itself service tax on my premim (10.3% of Rs. 18000) . now the charges started - Administration charges 135/month, mortality charges - 18/month fund management charges etc. They are deceiving us. Is there any way to get back our original amount, interest is not reqired.
            Boss, remember there is no guarantee on returns on ULIP policies, thats y there is fight is going between IRDA & SEBI for further continuance of these ULIP sales in future, GOVT of INDIA given instructions to all life insurance companies not to sell new ULIP policies in future, in ur case u blindly believed that stupid bank person, i wont say ur fault but dont leave him simply make a complaint to consumer form, IRDA, ombudsman... ...take care
            I am also one of the victims of this fund. My policy Number.is 11356630 and I have invested a sum of Rs 1.50lakh in the policy. During sale of this polices no one has told me that 30% will be deducted in first year and 30% in the second year. Even branch manager of Ambala Cantt has visted to my house to grab the customer. Just you emagine that If any one will know that 30% and first year and 30% in the 2nd year will be deducted, no one will be ready to purchase such type of stuped polices. Actually this amount was a very hard money gifted me by my husband from his retitment benfits army during Aug 2007. Now the total fund value of these is 1/3 which is a great shock for me. As per latest news HDFC SLIC has earned a net profit of Rs 90, 000 crores and invested in Mutual Funds.

            Dear Sir,

            This is to bring to your notice that I am Agent ( Agency Code: 0002045E) ,Zonal Club Member of LICI, Siliguri-II Branch in Jalpaiguri Division for last 20 years.
            On August'09 i received a letter from Divisional Manager that one my policy sourced , had an early claim and the policy holder was suffering from existing disease. I was asked to give an explanation for not mentionig the same in Agent Confidential Report.

            As i was travelling , I received the letter late and reverted on 20th Nov'09 with all explanation to the Divisional Manager.

            Since than I have not received any reply from any end. I have even met personaly to the Branch Manager & Divisional Manager, but have not ceived any revert.

            My Agency code has been blocked , where i am not allowed to source further policies and I am not even receiving my due commission.

            Reminder, Request & Plead letter for withdrawl of suspension of work has been sent again on 23rd March'10 with a copy to Branach manager, Branch Secretary, Divisional Secretary, Divisional President & Zonal Manager.

            But till date i have not received any reply from LICI and thus am mentaly disturbed as my earning has been stopped for last 10 months.

            Request you to help into this to resolve.

            HDFCSL/insurance — Cheating and fraud by HDFCSL agent

            Sir,Mr R.P.Yadav,I.D.No 00382064 requested me to deposit some money in HDFCSL for 5 years and you will get just double of it.And I shall give you 10% comission of it.I deposited 75000/
            After few days again requested me if you deposit 55000/more you will get a mobile phone from the HDFCSL.So I did.
            Again he came to me and told that if you depsit 40000/more Company wil give you fridge in addition my comissin.So i did.
            But when policies received i found that all money has been deposited in PENSION sheme for 10/11 years which i refused.
            He did not any receipt of 75000/ but receipt of 55000/gave stating SAVING ony and 40000/ SUPER PENSION /INVESTMENT added after wards when i objected of pension plan.
            Sir i 65 years aged and a govt pensioner, how can i deposit 170000/per year to maitain my scheme othewise all the will be forfieted.
            So all the matter be inquired under IPC./cheating/fraud and agent and HDFCSL be punished to me from monetary loss.

            ASPIRE LIFE ULIP — Not returning me back my original premium amount

            I have bought Bharti-AXA ULIP plan in year 2007 and paid only one premium
            Rs.30,000/-. Thereafter due to some personal issues, I did not pay anything. Can I claim back my invested amount after 3 years or surrender the above policy. Please advice.

            You can surrender your policy or cancel the policy but you will not get the full amount which you had invested.If you surrender your policy after 5 yr then you will get 100% fund value otherwise if you surrender your policy on 3rd & 4th Year then you will get 90% & 95% respectively of your fund value.

            I was pursuaded by the bank employees and agent to take HDFC SL Pro Growth Super II in my name and in the name of my wife Urbashi Dash. A sum of Rs 30, 000/-as deducted from my a/c on 23.12.2010. I was medically examined 21 days back. Till date I have received no communication. I have strong reasons to believe that I have been befooled and cheated.
            I am not at all interested to take the policies. I want my money back in 7 days time, or else I shall be constrained to take other course of action. I hope HDFC SL will return my money early.

            HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited — Delay in processing refund for Life Insurance Policy

            Hi,

            I had one life insurance endowment policy issued by HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited for my wife Mrs.Deepali Kalra and I had raised a request to get the surrender quotation on 24rth Dec. 2010. Ideally, it takes not more than 2 days to get the surrender quotation but this request for surrender quotation was not processed until 3rd Jan. 2011. This was picked up only after I called up HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Ltd. to get the status on 3rd Jan. 2011.

            Subsequent to this status call on 3rd Jan.2011, The surrender quote was provided by 5th Jan 2011 (in the evening around 8 pm). On 6th January, I had completed rest of formalities including NEFT mandate to process the refund on prority basis. But the amount was deposited to my wife's account by 14th Jan. 2011 only.

            The delay in processing the request for surrender quotation (from 24rth Dec. 2010 until 3rd Jan. 2011) caused the delay at my end and I had to take loan for the purpose for which I was seeking refund on the policy.

            Now, after raising the issue with HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company, the company did not accept the fault at first and also not providing any satisfactory response.

            I request you to take up this matter with HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited and help me getting proper resolution and compensation.

            i was fooled by the agent too HDFC's agent said that the growth funds will be the best for me to invest and will get higher return and never ever he mentioned that there will be Rs 70000 in allocation charges
            that was deducted each from my 3 policies that i had so i invested Rs 300000 and in first year when i
            get a statement it said i only had Rs 30000 each in my policy that only Rs 90000 and than i made
            several attempts with the branch and branch manager for almost 1 year i never got any response so
            my policies lasped and finally new branch manager called and when i spoke to him he told me i only had
            2 option either forget about all my Rs 300000 that i invest since my policy was lasped or i invest another
            Rs 600000 for remaining 2 years and they will revive my policies and that should be the only premiums that
            i had to pay and i want have to pay any more premium instead i just recieved a notice of premium due for
            another Rs 100000 each on all my policy and now i have no idea what will happen if i dont pay the premium?
            will my policy lasp? or what will happen. I think all of the cutomers who got defrauded buy this greedy
            agents and branch manager should just beat the hell out of them and also every one should just stop using this instead invest in FD's or KVP from Post

            HDFC Bank — LIFE INSURANCE AMOUNT NOT PAID

            I have surrendered my policy on 7th March 2011 in BTM Layout HDFC Life Insurance Office, and i was told that i shall get the cheque within 5 working days and they asked me to collect the cheque from the Branch after 5 working days. I went after 10 days and asked why i have not received the cheque they told me because of Holi and year ending it was delayed and they told it has been dispatched from Delhi we will get it in 2 days. i went there after 2 days and they told the courier has missed. Now they are not receiving my calls only and i had made commitments to pay back some other loans and these HDFC insurance people are not responding only. I have the acknowledgement with me.
            Its just a fcuk company cheating all the customers. HDFC means High Drama Involved fcuk company. We should kick their and send them away from the country...Please be aware of their meaning...

            policy no. 1:-
            no.12881953 commenced on 30/04/2009 with rs. 50,000/- Annual premium.

            Policy no 2 :-
            no.13566187 commenced on 24/03/2010 with rs. 25,000/- Annual premium.


            I have got these policy done from hdfc jogeshwari east branch with ecs deductions from our respective personal saving accounts.

            For 2010 annual premium deduction it was observed that for policy no.[protected]which does not belong to me)the sum of 50,0000/- The premium amount was deducted by ecs from my I.E.--Mrs. Mrinalini's account along with my own 2 policy ecs deduction.
            Immediately, it was brought to the notice of hdfc--jogeshwari e,branch officials.
            There was absolutely no response from them.
            The writtem complains were submitted to authorities by me.
            The bank authorities were not ready to accept the letter of complain. They have not given any acknowledgement receipt for the complain lodged.
            I amver y sorry to say but the service of hdfc had been extremely poor.
            So far, there had been no response or no communication for this case.

            The complain e-mail was sent to the [protected]@hdfclife.Com. Initially the e-mail was accepted by them and few details were asked which was provided. Later,the bank statement which shows the wrong deduction of 50,000/- Was asked ----that attachment of statement was also sent,but then there was a reply that they have not received the attachment,so it was sent again and again but now it has stopped being received by the same ID and it fails to get send.

            I invested in four HDFC SLIC Policies.

            1. Unit Linked Young Star II Equity Managed Fund II (in 2009)
            2. Unit Linked Pension Maximiser II Growth Fund II (in 2009)
            3. Young Star Supreme Suvidha Growth Fund II (in 2010)
            4. HDFC Endowment Supreme Suvidha Growth Fund II (in 2010)

            This was done at the advice of my 'Personal Banker' at the HDFC Bank Branch in Malad, Mumbai. He suggested that the policies mentioned above will fetch good returns. He did NOT mention any of the hidden charges (perhaps that why they are called that).

            I am stuck with annual premium for three of the above for five years.
            They TAKE AWAY almost 10.2% of the premium at the time of investment. And another .62% taken annually as charges.
            What's ALARMING is the total value of my investments is less than the amount invested.
            I would have got BETTER returns in a savings account!

            On calling the said personal bankers, all I get is extremely vague replies.
            It seems like it's my hard earned money down the drain.

            HDFC has always been my most trusted brand in the banking/insurance industry, but that was until I bought ''SIR UTHA KE JIYO''policy. I invested 1, 50, 000 over that last three years and the value just kept diminishing. Now when I want to surrender the policy I get to know another 30% would get deducted.

            I wounder how the value of this policy alone is going down. I suspect that the premium amount that we paid may not have been completely invested.

            HDFC STANDARD LIFE is ABSOLUTELY a 'NO'; 'NO' for any further investments.
            HDFC Standard life company is a best cheating company in India. I was persuaded like anything to invest in Endowment suvidha plan with high premium of Rs.200000 per year. Unfortunately after three years of continuing that policy, I am not in a position to continue that policy further and would like to understand the benefits of that policy to withdraw the money which I invested for three years. No one either in HDFC life branch or the agents or customer care representatives could give me the right information about the status of my investment after a period of time if I leave it in paid up condtion. Except on surrender charges nothing could be cleared by any branch personnel or the agents who call frequently to pay further premiums. Regarding surrender charges information already does exist in the policy. What could be the status of my 6 lakhs i invested now after 5 years or 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 years later no one could furnish in a logical approach. Had it been left to my decision at the time of investment, we could have planned according to our convenience not at the cost of HDFC bank managers convenience. No one is clearly explaining what could be the fund maintenance charges that will be deducted in 4 and 5 th year if we leave the policy in paid up condition. That will atleast give me idea whether to keep it in paid up condition or to surrender with 30% surrender charges. I would like to advice all not to get trapped in this kind of investments which will cost at our hard earned money putting us in great trouble. Hope HDFC life should understand this in positive approach and see that customers are not cheated.
            I have similar experience. One Mr, Uppal who was earlier with Thane Branch had come to my office and explained certain things. I blindly signed the policy papers. I never realised that after 3 years I would not have the liquidity to pay rs. 2. 50 lakhs as annual premium on three policies which is to be paid once in a year. The dates are different. The EMI is deducted directly from my Savings A/c with HDFC Bank. I must have given such instructions. Trusting HDFC Bank and its Officers, it never struck me to think and apply my mind or consult any one.

            Now I thought to discontinue the premium payment and to see how much I can get back. After paying 4 lakh rupees as premium in the last 4 years, I was told that I would maximum get 1.50 lakhs!

            Hence I fully agree with the experiences of others and would request every one to be extremely careful for any products of HDFC either bank or the corporation. The Officers who visit your place leave the jobs after couple of years and the Bank disowns the promises made by their Officers and nothing is in writing. You trust the officials and sign on the dotted lines. Most of the time the Officers approach you when the Scheme has left only few days or the last two days etc.
            Myself also a victim of hdfc SL. There is no guarantee even after fifth year that every one will get 100% of our money invested it also depends on the share market value at the time of policy surrender. And the very worst part is no bloody is ready to answer any questions we ask. The agent who came with this policy to me is no more working with hdfc and even the branch manager is also not ready to answer any questions
            They simply say to launch a complaint to hdfc insurance at Bombay. They reply like every thing is signed and accepted by you. But the actual hidden truth that this policy involved in share market value is not intimated to any of the customer.

            Yes I have also had a similar experience with HDFC Pensionsuper Plus scheme where I invested 7.2 lacs 4 years ago. I had repeatedly TOLD THE AGENT that I wanted minimal risk as this money was required for my daughters future of wedding. However today my money has reduced to 6 lacs and I have lost 1.2 lacs in last 4 years. This is despite market actually doing well and NIFTY dropping only now. When I contacted HDFC they gave me a response which made no sense stating that they had put all my money in High Growth and High Risk and market had done badly. when I asked them how it was that during this period, their own bank value has itself jumped by about 50% even at today's value, no response.Even the Nifty at around 5500 is at an average of what our investments have been. However our funds are down by 25%..which corresponds to nifty level of 4500 ...how can they under performe Nifty by such a large amount.
            THEY HAVE TAKEN A PENSIONERS MONEY FOR A BIG RIDE
            To restrict the further losses and to explore the possibility of recoverring some loss, I have finally surrendered my policy which was purchased in the year 2008 and I had paid 4 lakhs. Just to ensure that the premium for the year 2013 does not get deducted (ECS option), I had to ensure that keep a lower balance than Rs. 1 lakh. To stop ECS option for Standard Life from HDFC Bank, you need to give 2 months advance notice. With great difficulty, I had to transfer funds to ensire that the premium won't get debited.

            The surrender value for the policy where I paid Rs. 4 lakhs plus service tax came to Rs. 2.77208 lakhs!. Policy no. 13735488

            Lesson learnt is not to trust the so called trusted Brand and their Officers who mislead the people just to get the enhanced performance pay and leave the employers. With several vists and smart presentations at Office and at home, these people build the trust and pursue you to sign the documents. During this period, if you visit the Bank, you get a treatment like a Maharaja. Once documents are signed and 1st premuim is paid, they show different colours and the so called human touch is vanished and it becomes simply a legal and documented process. They make you feel stupid for the trust you had shown and signing the papers blindly. I was given the policy at the age of 56 where the annual premuim was Rs. 1, 00, 000/- without bothering for my liquidity position after my retirement.

              I have been transacting honestly with the Branch since last two years. I have never dishonored any cheques, neither violated any banking norms.
              I never get the Bank statements during the year though I have served them with my proper residential address. I had applied for the Bank Statement a few days earlier and was terribly surprised to find that Bank has charged few thousands time and again without my knowledge from my account. When I inquired about the charges to the Bank officials, they had tried to explain that these are charges for not maintaining minimum Balance in my account. Though, the fact is that I have always maintained average quarterly Balance in my account as I had been asked to do while opening the account. I have understood from some bank officials that the charges been deducted from my accounts so called as consolidated charges should not have been made and unjustified.
              Moreover, I have availed a personal loan of Rupees one lakh twenty-five thousand from the Bank since last one and half years and not a single moth I have defaulted their payment. I have personally inquired with the bank officials who had also advised me that since I have availed a personal loan from their Bank and opened a savings account since then, I should have got the privileged of opening the NIL balance account.
              I have also made a written request to the Bank since last fifteen days, but the Bank Officials have not responded yet.
              Therefore, I humbly bring in front of you my prayer to kindly take up the matter in thy court and justify me.

              HDFC Bank — Levied charges on my account without any information

              Hi,

              I am holding an account with HDFC from last 7-8 years now and I have been facing problems every now and then.
              I fail to understand, how come it's my money and my account, when the Bank has the right to take money out of my account without any prior consent.
              This account has been on and off as a coorporate account but from last 2 years, it's a personal savings account. At that time, I was informed that I am supposed to maintain a total of Rs 5000/- in my account atleast once in 3 months with no wirtten documentation provided to me. This time in april, I checked my statement and found a charge of Rs 827/- on my account. When enquired about the same, I came to know that the charge is because my average in last 3 months is not above Rs 5000/-. Now, first I was never provided any documentation saying that I am supposed to have an average of Rs 5000/- in 3 months. Thus, I was ignorant in this case. Second, how can someone take out money from my account, without asking or informing me. They simply toook the money out as if the account and the money beolngs to their forefathers. Also, what justice is it, that if someone failed to maintain an average of Rs 5000/- in 3 months, the bank would charge the customer around Rs 1000/- approx.
              And this is the kind of treatment is given to a person who has been banking with this bank from last 7-8 years now. I fail to understand if HDFC even understands, what customer service is. I spoke to Phone banking but no good response. They have canned response, which they keep on repeating, without even understanding, how it feels to loose money without any prior information and knowledge.
              Hope someone somewhere is reading this e-mail and is bothered about good banking.

                Hi All,

                My name is Harish Gupta Gopu, working in Hyderabad, IBM and my salary account is with Vijayawada, HDFC. For the April '09 month salary was deposited to my vijayawad, HDFC by my company and salary also reflected in bank statement but in the balance it displays only 4900/- instead of 10673/-.So took screenshots of the issue and attaching to this. However i gave a call to customer care, but they said service wud be available b/w 8.00am --8.00pm. This is really bad service. If i am weak hearted definitely i wud be sued my own life with their service later i found that some of my money kept in hold. But i dont know why the heck they kept on hold. However i am unable to get the money for a very urgent purpose. Atleast no customer support to give me releif.

                  I have an account in hdfc bank.

                  Recently(01/08/2009) I got some message that server issue in hdfc bank.

                  I too suffered, while I was trying to debit 10000 rs from my hdfc account i heard cash counting noise but no cash came and it said process incomplete.

                  Immediately I checked my mini statement it said debited 10000 rs.

                  Where is my 10000 rs?I clearly know that server issue but while i am trying to book a complaint through customer care it says upto 6.30 pm only on saturday 1.30 pm only.

                  Then why they give the written statement in documents 24 hours customer care.

                  Where we are?

                    i was a sales executive in HDFC bank at janakpuri branch, New delhi. My employee code was CS-20057, i did 54 days work there.                     Hi as per our discussion that i have been paid total Salary (23170+1865=25035) from 07 Nov2008 to10feb2009, and 12000 has been paid for notice pay, while i was selected as a Sr. sales officer(Team Manager) salary was 14500 per month,
                    Then, How could it justified that the organization has paid to me entire salary from (07 Nov08 to 10feb09)
                    I have been paid only Nov08 and Dec08 salary, please justification my january' s salary, you can find my attendence in the month january09,
                    when my salary of january month not creadited in my account then i said to Mr. Nitun (sales Manager) what about my january salary? Then he said your salary of january will be creadited in next month, but till date i am not received my january 09 salary.
                    And the last matter is that i am unable to understand that when a employee of your organization want to resign form his job before his termination, and your officer didn't want of recieve his resignation letter and termitateded him, without any proper resion, i was the only one who speak against my boss Mr. Nitun Saurabh (Sales Manager) for his misbehaiver,
                    Abusing in the customer oriented organization HDFC BANK with sales officers, i have proof against him and i metioned eralier,
                    For this resion he could'n received my resination letter and treminated me, i called him many times for my resination after 20th january09, and finaly i sent my resingnation letter to HR, sales manager, Area Sales Manager, and other senior managers, on 09th feb09, after discussion to HR People Mr, Tushar and others.
                    And without accepting my resignation letter i was terminated on 13th Feb2009,
                    what is the justification of the Number One Organization in term of customers and empolyees
                    justifications.

                    It is after almost 3 months that I am writing this letter complaining about the dismal services offered by your bank credit card system. Quite frankly your supervisors at the call centre know nothing about the customer and how they need to be treated, apart from not making any sense when they talk. Talking to your agents is a waste of time unless its some rudimentary discussion that needs to be done.

                    I am an imperia account holder in HDFC bank and had a platinum credit card. The card address is the same for the last couple of years and all was well till one day I thought I lost my card and reacted almost immediately by calling and cancelling the same. This is when my woes started. I was told the replacement card will come in 7 days, I am still waiting after 3+ months for the 7 days to happen, 12 calls over this period and lengthy discussions on how customers need to be understood of course did not fetch any results, the two supervisors who kept assuring me that everything will be fine & the card will be dispatched Jyoti & Patrick are I think trained to wade off a customer by giving total BS.

                    They are indeed funny & so is the process !!!, They tell me that the card is not reaching me since I do not have a flat number on it, so I ask them how do the statements come all of course with zero amounts on the same address, I ask them how the statements & the cards and renewals came for all these years………………… no answer, Once Jyoti took my flat number and then again said the same thing, It will come in express delivery after she feed the flat number ……………….. obviously I understand that HDF is still in Bullock cart age & the fastest express is yet to take off !!!

                    My mother was admitted in Hospital last month & bills ran in lakhs, I needed the CC at that point in time, I of course used my Stanchart, my HSBC and others, but in the bargain HDFC lost the business And my faith.

                    It is for this reason that I thought I will write this mail now to the senior leadership. I am sure it’s been entertaining to read but very frustrating to write I am now going to wait for the card to come & once I do get it start using it ( when it comes though !!! ) . I then want to play the same trick on you guys, when the statement comes I will say it never reached me there is no flat number & site the same example …………………. What do they say tit for tat !!!

                    Very surprised at a so called premium bank service, I would be shocked if there is any reaction on this mail. I wrote this mail in light humor but deep inside with the frustration of almost banging my head against the wall.

                    As an very active member in the consumer Guidance society of India, I obviously will quote this horrid story in all our publications and being an IT guy would also do some posts on some interesting blogs. I am sure such an entertaining story will get some eyeballs & wake up an erring organization.

                      I had a HDFC credit card on 2005, the total limit of the card is Rs.10, 000/-, due to my regular payments they have incresed my limit to Rs.15, 000/-. They have not consulted with me to raise this limit, even i dont need that too. Later due to my financial circumstance i missed few months to pay my dues, but i paid the minimum dues. But the HDFC people who have volunterily increased my limit, now keep on making higher interest to my dues and my due amount goes higher like anything.

                      Suddenly one day they asked me for Rs.27, 000/- (my total card limit is only 15K and i paid mim dues too) which cant be payable by me. i denied to make the payment. There is no resource to protect the consumers like us. They have threaten me thro the collection people.

                      By 2008, i've spoken to HDFC bank official Mr.Manjunathan ([protected]) at Perungudi Branch, Chennai. He asked me to pay minimum cader amount Rs.10, 000/- to resolve this issue. And the next day itself i've have given the cheque for the same. Later when i've tried to apply for the personal loan it got rejected and i was informed that the loan was cancelled since i am in Defaulter list and it shows the bad debt of Rs.5000/-.

                      Even i had personal loan at HDFC bank some time before and i am regularly making the payments till now without a month delay. How can they say that i am a defaulter???

                      As a victim, my questions are

                      1) Howcome these bank people increse the limit without consulting the consumers?

                      2) How can they threaten people thro the collection executives? (before selling the behaviour is totally diffrent)

                      3) Why come the HDFC officals have given wrong communication to me? ( since i am willing to pay the balance amount of Rs.5000 also)

                      4) I cant able to apply any kind of loans, since i was trapped by the banking genius. It was happen purely because of the HDFC bank people, why should i affect in this?

                      5) I am willing to pay the bad debt of Rs.5000/, Weather HDFC can remove my name from CIBIL?

                      Please get me the justice

                        i withdrew Rs.1000/- from HDFC ATM from satara powai naka branch on Saturday 25th april 2009.
                        the serial number is 3914.transaction time was 16:22.the demonitions received was one note of RS.500/-and remaining five notes of Rs. 100/- each.but the 500 rupees note was the fake one.
                        i came to know when i went to a medical shop and tried to make a purchase.
                        what should be done in this case?

                          This is a major concern, this Bank people are calling me very often with a number which is[protected], but no one talks on ohone and if i disconnect the line they keep on calling for more than 50 times in an hour. Today someone had visited my home in afternoon and made my mother in law speak to Aparna on #[protected] who had abused my mother in law resulting her in unconscious stage. When i called on that # someone else had again spoke to me very rudely. I was making my payments which is minimum amount due on time. But my amount was getting increased day by day. I informed bank guys about the same but they said they don't know. then i informed them to find out and let me know about the same but they didn't reverted back to me. So i stopped the payments and they started harassing me and now my Family. Please reply to this e mail else i will commit suicide. I will wait for the response till Wednesday. Else Bank People will be responsible for my Suicide..

                          Even i received calls from this number. They are asking me to pay a loan on credit card which i have not taken. Hdfc has not done verification in a proper way.
                          Dear Concern,

                          As I am a credit card holder of HDFC bank due to financial problem I was unable to pay this month you can check the past record, when your collection team spoken I have told them to wait for 4 to 5 days for the payment but they started arguing with me I have tried to convince them but still they started speaking vulgarly then also I have kept my self cool and at last I have cut the call. Then after they started calling at residence and spoken vulgarly with the family members (i.e. Spouse and Father) a human being from a good family will never keep quite for such kind of language but still I kept my cool because it is my mistake but today morning the way they spoken to my father literally I have lost my cool and taken a decision and called to the call center they told I will get a apology call but I did not get any call so I have given a written complaint if still this calls are not stopped then I will go to the consumer court then we will decide there.

                              Iam an existing HDFC customer. I have a savings bank account at Ajmer Branch of HDFC.

                              2. Iam a defence officer. I was offered an HDFC bank credit card by one of the staff at Ajmer branch in Oct 06 while I was at leave in my home town. I had shown very little interest initially because iam usually posted at places that do not make use of credit cards viable. However after a lot of persuasion which I would actually call pestering I agreed for the same and as usual I just had to sign some forms and very meticulously a GOLD credit card was delivered at my address a few days later having no as mentioned above.

                              3. However as I had mentioned I was in no place to use the card at that time. I got transferred to Bangalore in Jul 07 and I gave a written requisition at the Ajmer Branch for change of correspondence address of my credit cards statements as well as savings bank account statement as I thought o[censored]sing the card at Bangalore. Ironically the statements of my savings bank account have been reaching me regularly at the present address as mentioned on top, but no credit cards statements were coming through…After a couple of months I again gave a request at Yelahanka Branch for change of address to present address. The requests till date have yielded fruitless results. After contacting the customer care I got the response of contacting the branch.

                              4. The first time the card was used was after Jul 07 at Bangalore and was used to purchase clothing items twice or thrice the total purchase amt not exceeding more than 3500 Rs. However since I was not receiving the credit cards statements I decided to transfer money through my net banking account which I have done regularly as will be evident from your records. The statements were received irregularly at my Ajmer address initially but then that also reduced. I was out of the country for two months in Jun – Jul 08. I got a call from my parents at Ajmer of some lawyer calling up on behalf of HDFC bank and threatening legal action against me for not paying some Rs 2900 ! Also this is very surprising for me. My parents received one statement at that time which said that the card had been blocked and that the matter was referred to RBI(for what iam not aware!!). I spoke to customer care of HDFC bank and I believe they are all matriculates employed by your bank who have no knowledge of whatsoever about public grievances. After three times of speaking to them and giving them my phone number and their assurance that someone from your bank would get in touch with me nothing happened. I then spoke to Ms Maitri Sharma who was then the credit cards escalation officer at Jaipur and explained her the matter as the customer care was proving to be of no good. She was very apologetic and promised me that the charges would be reversed for the late fees because I was not at fault for not receiving the statements by posts or by e –mail(the ID was provided at the time of filling the form). This kind of irresponsible attitude of customer care and their superiors in credit cards division branch has left me feeling mentally harassed because I wouldn’t have run away with 3000 Rs worth shopping on the credit card even when I was making an effort to pay all my dues on time. As a responsible and law abiding citizen this is my endeavor from the first time I paid through online. The threatening call of HDFC employed lawyers I believe is strictly prohibited by law . repeted telephonic conversations with Mr Mayur of HDFC bank escalation officer/ debt management officer at jaipur has yielded no result neither are the officials at grievance cell at chennai being very helpful. and they are continuously incresing my amount payble from Rs 410 to Rs 5200 since sept 2008 till date and this is despite that my card acct has been blocked. what am i supposed to do. iam planning to take legal action for mental and financial harrassment against the bank.

                              HDFC Bank — Cheating the costumer by collecting EMI TWICE

                              Respected Sir,



                              I got a two wheeler loan from HDFC bank and the EMI is Rs. 1628/- and have paid the EMI regularly. Unfortunately, I have missed to honour the ECS for the month of March - 2008. The next day the bank has sent a person to collect the EMI along with bouncing charge Rs. 450/= . I have paid RS. 1628 + Rs. 450 and received the bill. But the bank has collected the March EMI by representing the ECS on 17th March without intimating me. After noticing it in my bank account, I informed the customer care for nearly 12 times and everytime they told me that it will be recredited in 3 working days( telling the same for the past 2 weeks) .



                              So, I request you take serious action against the bank and do the needful.

                              I strongly agree with all those getting suffered for having HDFC Bank Credit card.For being an employee of a MNC, i have been requested several times to apply for a credit card of HDFC Bank by their executives.They rang me up in my mobile several times to convince me for applying the card.After many request, i have applied one.But idont like to purchase in credit card.But used for 2 or three times and i paid it back to bank before even getting the statement.But now they are sending statements which are showing that i have taken a credit of Rs.40, 000/- which is beyond my imagination.Now the bank executives are calling me up at my mobile and at my residence number and using abusive languages, and also threatening my elderly parents.Now, i have requested them to come to a settlement through my legal counceiler as i dont want harrashment of my elderly physically challeged parents.They have even send "Gumdas" to threaten my parents.Please suggest me what i should do in stead of keeping faith on the law of the land.I need your suggestion for getting rid of this critical menance of today's plastic money generation.

                              HDFC Bank (Credit Card Division) — HDFC Credit Card Charging twice on statement

                              HDFC credit Card charging twice on my credit card bills.
                              HDFC has charged Rs. 14979/- on the statement. Whats bad is after writing them 3 times and calling them 10 times, no body has taken ownership to resolve the dispute.
                              Its really bad to follow up on the case where you are not at fault.

                              Everytime you call at the call centre, no body has the background on the case and you need to explain the complete issue alltogether again

                              It is to put your the kind attention on the bizarre transactions happening these days in the HDFC bank. Without providing proper clarification they are pulling out money from the saving account to fulfill the unjustified claim on the credit card.

                              In Year 2007 HDFC bank given me credit card -[protected]-Due to some reason i was not able to pay back the money(thoug i have paid 10000 Rs as an interest ) on time, therefore bank offered a full and final settlement of the payment (19000 in seven installment) reference letter no 0230110- which was dispatched to me on 27/06/08- bank agent asked me cheaque of 1664 Rs for first installment and in cash 1050 reciept number are as follows 12386606 and 12386607 respectively (paymant made on 28/6/08), after the the was no delay in payment my full payment was completed in month of dec'08 and when i asked for NOC from bank they said the payment of 1664 is due on your account then i checked with bank and find it out the of 1664 cheaque was returned as it was torned though i have given a proper cheaque to agent. without any delay i paid 1664 in cash on 31st of jan 2009. and all the payments are over from my side no HDFC bank put my account ([protected] VIKAS MARG, N DELHI )on hold on 30/april/2009 for non payment of credit card, that is exactly not correct thing then also as account on hold HDFC agent called me in and said pay 1400 rs and all of your dues will be cleared so i paid reciept nos-8595220 again as i`m in urgent need of money, But now bank is saying your first installment is late full and final settlement is over " please look in this matter and resolve it as soon as possible

                              I got the credit card 2years back.Bcoz of my friends mistake i am paying full money.One Executive Madam Asha from Nungambakkam(HDFC Bank Credit card Division) called me for payment, i agree for settlement.She had sent one guy and he gave some documents regarding settlements.I am paying promptly for each payment.3 months back i had some family proble, bcoz of that i was unable to make one due amount.



                              Again she called me, that said u have one payment pending(I have that conversation in b/w me and Asha in my mobile), once u cleared that payment we will issue 0 balance statment to u.So i agree to pay that amount., also i paid it.But after that there is no reply from Asha madam.Last month i received one call from customer care, she said u have one more due pending.Suddenly i was shocked.Again i called Asha madam, she said, yes sir u have one more due pending..u have to pay it.But i said "i wont make any payment regarding this".Now she block my savings account.



                              Two year back i got Personal loan (Rs.2.5Lakhs)from HDFC.I am promptly paying that.U can find out my statement.Now i am paying Rs.5896 for everu EMI.There is no single cheque bounce.I[censored] not release my account, I wont pay single paise.bcoz of her mistake.

                              HDFC Credit Card — Extra not reversed in spite of assurance

                              I have been issued HDFC credit Card in Jan 2008, with welcome card I received letter giving me 60 days interest free period, but I received the statement in 10 days and asking to pay outstanding in next 10 days. I took lot of follow-ups regarding the matter but the bank didn't provide me any reply, the only reply was to pay the outstanding, I stopped the payment for few months and when I was hampered by the collection dept. they ask me to pay min balance and we will settle the things, but last 1 year it was not settle at all I was paying every month min amount and taking follow-ups for some positive reply but no reply. At last in month of Feb the guy from bank ask me pay all the out standing and we will reversed your the extra amount paid to bank which was about 10, 000. I made the payment and as usual they did nothing on issue stating me it can't be reverse
                              My credit card amount is already kept on hold on another bank a/c no. which is [protected] whcich is not linked to my credit card no. [protected]
                              and when i was asked by collection to settle the account i was reeady for that in the meantime you people have put my Rs 8662/- on hold though i was ready for settlement, merely because i have anothe a/c with your bank so that you are authorsied to block the exaggerated amount according to your wishes.

                              Before deducting my amount from my bank a/c show me the terms and conditions of your credit card which authorises you to put the account on hold even if customer is ready for settlement and the same was confirmed by your collection guy.

                              My bill is over charged with late fee and extra irrelevant charges, if you have put my a/c on hold and the same would be deducted then issue me the letter that my entire amount is paid towards my credit card no. [protected] and the same is disconnected i am not going to use this card anymore, even not for the entire life i have been cheated by hdfc.

                              Issue me the letter that my entire outstanding is paid off as my amount of Rs 8662/- is already on hold, rest i would definately take this issue ro consumer court perhaps they can provide me the better solution

                              In the mean time i have an another bank a/c with HDFC which is my salary a/c with my new company and this credit card is not linked to my new a/c still they holded the amount of Rs 8662/- on this new a/c without any intimation if i am agreed for settlement of my actual amount of Rs 4000/- then why without any intimation an amount of Rs 8662/- is kept on hold and when card in not linked to my new a/c even i have not received any bill though late fee is charged in my bill of more than Rs 2000/- why do i pay if i have not received any bill.

                              I have received a letter from HDFC bank stating to pay the outstanding of Rs 8662/- which includes extra amount of late fee and other irrelevant charges if the same is not paid the same would be auto debited from my new bank a/c which is not linked with my card.

                              I am ready for settlement why is these people not agreed for settlement just because i have enough of money in my bank a/c so that they can deduct any amount they feel like .

                              Show me the terms and conditions which authorise the bank to auto debit the a/c without any intimation and if i am agreed to settle my a/c with the actual outstanding why is the bank not agreed on that .

                              If i would not have any account then they would have chased me for settlement of my card and they would have agreed on payment of actual why is the bank so reluctant to charge extra money which is not actually used by me and even i have not received any bill why do i pay extra charges of late fee and other charges.

                              If no action is taken on my request for settlement of my card then i will have to lodge an FIR and need to go to consumer court for unnecessary harassment, fraud and over charging .

                              First of all, Bank has the authority to Block or Lean your savings a/c or Credit card. When you sign the terms and condition it clearly says that if in case you default on a payment they can put a lean on your property, property means any relation that you have with HDFC will be block and the money recovered. Ex. if you have defaulted on rs5000/- and have Rs10, 000 worth of Shares in the HDFC Demat a/c the bank can sell your shares without your permission. Its their bank you know, the only way out of this is to make prompt payment or do not have any other ralation with the bank. Unfortunately the bank esclation is bad so no one will help you. Meet a lawyer and send them a notice saying you dont have money to pay.
                              Dear sirs, You have issued the chequeBook at par. But I have issued two cheques on which you have taken the charges. One cheque for 1 Lac and another one is for Rs. 225000/-/
                              You have deducted the clearance charges despite the Micro cheques being at par.
                              This should be set right and charges should be credited back.

                              The problem started when i was transfered to UAE and realised that i was not getting any e-statement, after writing to them N number of times and calling them, they were refusing to change my e-mail ID and feed in the actual ID as apparently the efficient data executive of HDFC had fed in some wrong e-mail ID, all the above took a couple of months and from Nov 2008, i finally received my e-statement in Jan and of course without any fault there were late fees and interest charged which i explained and finally they were convinced to wave off which took another couple of months and eventually in the month of march the payment was made, however the entire amount is still showing as outstanding after 5 months. And i have been defamed by the bank as a defaulter despite all efforts made to make the payment.
                              I have a saving account no.[protected] with HDFC Bank in Gurgaon FIP Branch, one transfer cheque no. 445512 of Rs. 5000/- deposited at the bank counter on 03/09/09 and it is not credited in account yet, due to this two SIP returned from account, who will bear this loss. Am following with customer care, all the time they saying, we get back to you. Refer their Complaint No. DEL116807.

                              However, I am contacting continues with customer care but no favrouable answer I got. Today I have visited my bank and they said, may be some discrepancy in your cheque, if there is any discrepancy so why not they returning my cheque.                               HDFC Credit Card — HDFC collects the money but do not update and close my account

                              I am an NRI settled in Dubai since last 3years and have a very strong relationship in line with many services from HDFC bank and I am surprised to see that one of the Credit card which is already closed a year back is still alive in the system.

                              This is one of the most destructive and discouraging matter for an organization which has one the leading status and most admirable process and services, but due negligence of the executive can hamper the same if things are not knitted well and corrected.

                              With reference to the call from [protected](time: 12:28, UAE Time, date 20th Nov 2009), for a transaction which has been closed a year back and no more related to any carry forward actions to be done but still every alternate month the call comes repeatedly since the last transaction was done on 13th Sept 2008, with full and final settlement toward a Credit card payment ([protected]).

                              Procedure recommended by the collection executive on 13th Sept 2008 to close the card with 20,000 INR.
                              • Takes Cash of 4000 (9/9/2008) as an initial payment
                              • Collects three cheque( 5334/- date : 7th Oct 2008)
                              • Second cheque ( 5334/- date : 7th Nov 2008))
                              • Third Cheque (5332/- date 7thth Dec 2008), In this cheque, there was a Mismatch error by the HDFC collection department while writing the cheque:
                              • As the cheque was from my brothers account as I was already not in town and the same was signed and submitted but the executive has written the third Cheque as with a mismatch figure in comparatively to the words Vs figures, which any ways was not written in front of the us but subsequently a later transaction while presenting the cheque.
                              • Amount in the Settlement letter : 5332/- INR
                              • But in cheque it was written “Five thousand five hundred and thirty four only, vs in figures mentioned 5334, which itself is a totally mismatch and i had given these cheques predated without any amount mentioned over it as a belief and commitment to close my account. Then why did the bank collection team has mismatched the amount while writing and getting it to such situation for which a customer has to be in trouble for ZERO reasons.

                              Correction made again:
                              • Again the executive followed up and subsequently the payment was also done but as of date its not updated as I foresee or else I would not be getting calls from HDFC collection department.
                              • Also the same was done with full proof closed and followed up with the bank.

                              I am really very disappointed with such ill mechanism for which being haunted since every now and then receive calls for the above transaction again & again. If the system has not full proof in closing the transaction then the bank must at least respect the customer existing transactions based on which the credentials can be known and identified.

                              After series of complaints i get information from Sr.Mngr, Service Quality that the mistake is from my side and needs to be looked at where as based on the closed account letter provided by the bank and later the cheques being mismatched while doing the presentation is not at all into considerations which really is alarming to any consumer for such a big bank.

                              HDFC Credit Card — Even after Settlement I got a new A/c Statement & continuous calls on my mobile

                              I had a HDFC Card which I settled for an outstanding amount of Rs 23600/- I had issued 4 post dated cheques from my ICICI Bank A/c of which my last installment got bounced for some wrong marking of lien from ICICI BANK Ltd. Which after calling up the customer care department was removed after 4 days.Finally I made a cash payment to HDFC Bank for the oustanding amount and was assured no call would come as my dues were completely settled. I was also asked to wait for 90 days for a final letter
                              of claims settled to be issued by HDFC CARD LTD. But after about 1 month again a new letter for
                              credit card bill came at my residence,when I called customer care they informed it was erroneously sent and the settlement was in process so I would get the final letter after 60 days. Again after 1 month I received a new credit card bill statment this time HDFC people started calling on my mobile.I informed them poiltely that the settlement was done and I am in no position to pay the dues again.But they said that my settlement has gone void as my last installment was not collected in time.I still insisted that the person who came to collect cash did inform me that the settlement is still inforce and once the payment is done in cash you should not worry about any pending dues.But till date I am getting calls from one Mr Ravi Patil who claims to be an Employee for HDFC Bank Ltd saying you have to make the payment or face dire consequences.He somehow also managed to procure my wife's mobile number and asked her to come to Wilson house at andheri to settle the matter when I didn't pick his calls. I am constantly living in fear now whether this people will forcefully land at my home and ask for outstanding dues. I request The concerned Authorities of HDFC Bank Ltd to conduct a thorough inquiry in my case and give me justice.

                              i am issued a credit card ([protected]) in Jan 2011 and not have been able to use it at various locations like Reliance Fresh,Big apple,Vishal Mega Mart,Indian Oil petrol pump etc. This was reported at your custermer call centre but no one helped me except telling every time that my card is active.
                              Instead of any help,i was flodded with many calls for other commercial interests and when asked for help all turned away.
                              On many occassions i asked the madam on other side to tell me any location where i can use it because whereever i used it,i am told that their system is not showing it anything and also not asking for any other input.

                              Now i have received a bill stating that i have to pay Rs.444.10.

                              I am not able to understand why i should pay this?

                              I clearly told your representative that I have to make a payment of About Rs 15000 in Jan 11 which can be used to get free lifelong service charge.When you can not provide any timely help,how you feel you have the right to charge me?

                              I have an HDFC credit card. I had made a purchese in May 2008 and converted that into EMI's. After making payments for few months I called them make a payment of the entire amount. It was the customer care department who gave me that amount to pay in full. After I made the payment I kept receiving the statement with the negative amount. I thought one day it will be 0. But intstead of becoming a 0 amount it gave me a statement of positive amount. Initially that amount was 8 hundred something which then increased upto 5 thousand 8 hundred something.
                              I called the Customer Care and asked why is this amount when I have made the full payment. They answered you loan was never preclosed. Reason being there was no call that you received from us confiming the preclosure.
                              But my arguement is, is it my mistake if you dont call me. Why was there no mail sent to me asking for the confirmation of the pre closure when I have made the full payment and you have received it.

                              This is just rediculous and worst services one can get.

                              I asked for cancellation but they stopped replying me saying that the amount is non-refundable but verbally they told that told that it can be cancelled at any time. They were telling people that they have a tie up with HDFC & other banks. As we blindly believed that if bank is involved then the all things will be valid.

                              After i raised dispute in the bank, i got disappointment by seeing mail that merchant is having agreement copy which said non-refundable.

                              I raised request withing 10 days of enrollement, HDFC is having all the authority to ask merchant & get the money back. I have already submitted all the proofs to HDFC customer care which clearly indicate the response from CV. CV is not bothering to respond my mails.

                              I requesting you to please help me to nullify my amount from the statement.

                              Even cooling-off period is given to new customer is an AIRDA regulation. Still CV is not co-operating the same.

                              Please note that Credit Card has been offered by HDFC bank with no additional expense except Late fee for the amount used through credit card.

                              However, for last few months they were unable to deliver the credit card bills to the said address and no one ever contacted me from HDFC credit card bank behalf.

                              Later my office address changed and i requested online for address change with the Credit Card dept, they changed the address but with huge amount added which includes Late fee plus Finance Charge. by definition of Bank that Finance charge is the interest fee they charge on amount used from credit card if it is not payable on time.
                              Issues:
                              1. I have paid timely payments but if they are not able deliver the bills how would i come to know that how much i have to pay to the Credit Card company.
                              2. However, i have paid all the payable amount some times including late fee
                              3. As it not informed to me by the HDFC credit card representative, that the bank will apply FINANCE CHARGE on late payment amount, therefore i have not paid this finance charge.
                              4. They keep calling and forcing me to pay this amount also..
                              6. And now they keep on increasing the amount of Finance charge by adding further more late fees and put my account hold.

                              it is same like when villagers borrowed money from landlord and never able to return it because landlord keep on adding interest.

                              Kindly help in this matter.

                                i had taken a two wheeler loan last year that is on 10th of april 2008 with icici bank! all was well till 06 march 2009, when suddenly icici bank executive calls me and tells me my bank cheque got bounced, where in my bank acc show that i have enough balance to clear the cheque.
                                I enquired my bank i.e. SBI, the officals say that there is no cheque that has come from icici on that day or the nearest day! then i visited the icici branch, they told me that the cheque could not be cleared cause of insufficient balance. i asked them my bounce memo, or can i pay the amt they told me that they will send memo through courier. and now i have to pay a cheque bounce charges of rs 275.00 for which i was totally annoyed
                                Till date i havent got ny courier but get calls from their executives every single day, i am really disturbed cause till today i havent ever bounced a single cheque of ny bank..
                                please guide me what to do? and one more thing to add the april cheque got cleared also.. so the only pending cheque is of march

                                  I Jasbir Singh director of M/s. Ludhiana golden logistics Pvt. Ltd, has issued the crossed payees account cheque no.11380 dated 16-09-08 of ICICI Bank Ltd jamalpur branch ludhiana in favour of HDFC BANK LTD of rupees Five lakhs, for making three times limit from the HDFC BANK LTD. On 23-09-08 I was surprised when bank’s Area business manager Punjab Mr. Amarjit Singh bagga informed me from his mobile no. [protected] that, my money has been withdrawn from the HDFC BANK by other person on 22-09-08, and bank is not liable for any type of limit and even for my five lakhs. He also told me that same person who had withdrawn my money had committed fraud on 19-09-08 with HDFC BANK and with M/s. Forex fasteners pvt. Ltd in same style and same amount. And sir we are surprised and shocked by Mr. Amarjit Singh’s statement that HDFC BANK is already aware of the fraud towards bank on and before 19-09-08 and is already blacklisted by HDFC BANK LTD on and before 19-09-08
                                  And HDFC BANK LTD is telling us that your money had been withdrawn on 22-09-08.
                                  Sir we are in financial crises and our business has been disturbed and our circle of cash liquidity has been stopped. We are in huge financial crises.                                       I have a salary account in HDFC bank, Perungudi branch Chennai. Today i visited bank to deposit cash to my account. They denied to deposit cash to my account saying that i don't have access to deposit cash to my salary account. Only they allow to access net-banking (Third party Transfer) and cheque deposit.

                                      Without any information they denied access, we got bad response from branch

                                      with honour inform's you that i am account holder in HDFC BANK.my account no.is[protected].After salary total balance is 17,888.i had gone for money transaction of Rs5ooo/-in ATM of state bank of patiala but it shows 'unable to process' due to yuor account balance
                                      isRs 4005/-so i checked the mini statement in HDFC -ATM$it shows the account balance is 12,888/-$ 5000/- transaction in that same time.so plz take some quick action in this wrong transaction.

                                      If my information and knowledge is correct the act of HDFC bank is against RBI norms and against banking law in India. Although it is a salary account, we cannot ignore the fact that it is Savings bank Account too. Suppose an account holder has withdrawn a sum for a particular purpose but he did not use the money for some or other reason. Now he wants to deposit the sum back in his account. How the bank can refuse the same?!!! I believe, RBI will intervene and act immediately in this situation. If this does not happen, better file a suit, like PIL immediately against the bank.
                                      Today Hdfc also refuses to deposit cash in my salary account. Saying that new RBI has given direction 10 days before for same. But on internet I am not able to find the same
                                      Today i had gone to HDFC bank For depositing the cash but they didn't accept the cash to deposit into my account as it is a salary account they won, t accept the cast they will only accept the check but the had told to write a declaration form for depositing the money into my account so i had written the letter then they had deposited the money
                                      I have just gone through the same thing
                                      apparantley its a new rule started only by HDFC. today wen i called them up, a customer service exec told me that this was in line with RBI norm that no cash can be deposited, the same thing was informed to me by the bank manager.When i asked for her supervisor, the exec. disconnected my call
                                      however later when i called them back, they said that this was a bank policy and that no notification was issued for this. also this exec confirmed that RBI had no role to play in this
                                      this is ridulous

                                      All please open new salary account with other banks like (icici, axis etc). I had a bitter experience few months back, my relative wanted money for emergency medical reason, i visited hdfc bommanahalli (bangalore ) branch .Teller asked me numbers of questions and she denied me depositing money. Then i took DD and send to my cuisine .Next day i conatcted my hr and opened salary account in icici and removed hdfc account from HR portel and transffered all mony from hdfc to icici.account .

                                      Even I had the same problem. I went to hdfc branch (Pongumoodu, Trivandrum) today to deposit money into my salary account. They told that depositing cash is not entertained, but for the time being they accepted cash deposit. They asked me for what I was depositing cash. I told that I need to make payments for credit card. For that they replied that, I can make direct credit card payments at bank. When I told them that, there is a service charge for making credit card payments at branch, they told that "yes, you will have to bear those charges".
                                      Isn't it that HDFC Bank is looking for more ways to charge their customers to increase their revenues?
                                      Who knows, tomorrow whether they might charge for "Netbanking Services" also...

                                      First, they didn't accept cash without original PAN for credit card payment. Then they wanted the the cardholder to be presented to sign the photocopy. When I told them, person is out of India, how can he sign, the stupid executive asked me to pay by cheque and when I asked him if cheque wont require signature, he was mum. Thanks to the branch manager, he authorised the payment to be accepted considering the person concerned is not in India. Earlier, only PAN was to be mentioned on deposit slip but now...

                                      Very next day, I had to deposit money in salary account and was told I cannot deposit since it is a salary account. No other explanation was given.

                                      Most useless and hostile bank I have seen. you are.
                                      I had to go through this pain today, when I had requested my wife to make an urgent deposit into my salary account (<10k). Lame excuses as experienced by others were given in the name of RBI - and that seem to be incorrect as well. Very very shoddy banking and customer service. With or without RBI regulation - it truly sucks big time!
                                      I have registered a complaint against HDFC Bank in their website with the Principal Nodal Officer. I have not seen any order in RBI website substantiating this aspect. Also, other banks with Salary Account service are not aware of such a policy. It is the right of the account holder to remit cash in his/her account.

                                      I have faced same problem . morning when i went to deposit cash in my salary account they denied and when i contacted customer care they are telling there is no any such rules.you can deposit but when i went again they denied again, so i lodge a compliant against that bank manager and teller.                                       I faced the same issue and I raised a complaint thru the HDFC Bank website. Please find below the response. There is NO RBI policy restricting remittance of cash in salary accounts. Also, cash remittance IS possible in Salary accounts..

                                      I went to deposit money into my account and the teller was really very rude to me. This is the Fatima Nagar branch in Pune. He rudely declined to deposit INR 3, 100 which i needed for an emergency purpose. I hate the bank. HDFC does not care about genuine customers who do not have any wrong intentions, but will assist in black money in crores of rupees.

                                      The same incident has happened with me today at hdfc bank, Jntu branch, ...there was this person mutali rao...who did not accept cash in my salary stating one reason the another...what reason for the deposit...personal or business...permission form home branch required...came after two days...he misbehaved and was grossly rude...as if he owns the bank and he is doing a favour by attending to customers...he blatantly refused to given any reasons in writing for not accepting cash...such kind of misconduct and misbehaviour is highly intolerable...and is evidence from all the above mentioned comments...this problem is persistent with the branch staff not knowing the exact RBI guidelines...i have put a forward a greivance to hdfc bank greivance redressal numbers mentioned above...expect a quick and to the mark solution for the problem...as per my understanding upto 50000 rs third party non home city is allowed ...correct me if i am wrong...and take appropriate action...deepak chhapolia

                                      Hi All, I am vinoth from chennai.. I have HDFC salary savings account in chennai. Due to an emergency i asked my friend to deposite cash from erode HDFC branch. But they denied cach deposite from my frined.. I am totally disappointed because of this...
                                      I am planning to change my salary account from HDFC to some other bank.
                                      HDFC Malleswaram branch brings worst service to its customers when it comes to deposit of cash towards the credit card bill payment over the counter.

                                      I've made a credit card bill payment over the counter many times and they never asked me the Identity proof.

                                      HDFC never sent me any sms/email/letter stating that the credit card bill cash payment requires ID proof of the depositor.

                                      Today, when I went to pay the credit card bill, I was told by Teller Ms. Uma Shankari that I need to have the ID proof to make credit card bill payment.

                                      Later, when I approached Branch Manager Mr. Pillai, he said as per the RBI rules, I need to show valid ID proof to make the credit card bill payment. When I showed my scanned copy of passport over mobile, he did not accept that too and he told me that he can also make the same false passport copy. Does it mean that HDFC Malleswaram officials are involved in creating false documents.

                                      Why would a person create false copy/ID card for making the credit card bill Payment?

                                      They did not even accept the company ID card. Mr. Pillai told me that company ID is not the valid ID proof. Does that mean that employees over world trade center are working with fake ID cards/without valid company ID?

                                      When I asked him for the copy of RBI rules, he asked me to go through RBI website.

                                      Mr. Pillai, pls remember, I have the account with the HDFC only and not with the RBI.

                                      hi This is gangaiah bandari from hyderabad. i have a salary account in hdfc bank at shaikpet branch. few months before i changed my job to another company. so iam hold the account of no other issues but ofter 7 months in my account show zero . i transfer amount Rs.10000 in my account hear they diduct at a time Rs.3500/- with out any intimation/any message.

                                      and whenever i diposited amount in my account they diduct bit of amount without any information...
                                      i had a good impression on this bank but now know about this warast bank...

                                      i have lose lot of money...

                                        I had tried to book Rail Tickets by using IRCTC Site with my Credit Card no. [protected]. But, for some technical reasons, the Ticket was not issued, however i received message in my cell no. [protected] that my card has been charged for the following:
                                        dt. 24.4.09 Rs 10215.00
                                        dt. 25.4.09 Rs. 2350.00 and 2050.00.
                                        please confirm and rectify from your end, as some technical fault is carrying on in IRCTC Site.
