I have an urgent requirement for which I approached HDFC bank Personal Loan having in mind that I have a Salary Account, so it will be easy and fast for me, but I had a worst experience in terms of Customer executives, the way of handling customer etc.
First of all they dont have the knowledge of the product or they dont want to inform the customer about all the things.Only the things you ask they will reply.
Next they wont tell you about all the documents at one go, they will tell it one by one and it will be your fault for the delay in loan.
Again the loan will get approved within 2-3 days but amount won't be credited to you at the time of your need.
Anyways, I don't know whether the bank will be taking any action or not, but at least in future the customers won't suffer if everything will be clear at the first time itself.

Personal — not receiving urgent document

My parents has send urgent document on 4/01/2009 it has been reached at nasik on 07/01/2009 but as on today i have not recived the consignment.
My Consignment no. is[protected].
I have tried to contact Mr. Navnath Pagare Ph No.[protected] your nasik service dealer but no body is picking the phone .

Please send the consignment quickly as it is very urgent.
If possible provide me the phone no. of agent.

    I had applied for a home loan to HDFC in the second week of December 2008 and offer given by them on 17th December 2008.Now due to some my personnel reason I have drop my idea to take a Home loan and request given to several times to HDFC for cancellation of home loan offer through E-mail. Please find the date:

    This to inform you that We had Auto Loan Account No. 14890433 Which we have preclose on 22 Jan 2011 . We paid Cheque No. 069066 Dt 22-01-11 for amount of Rs.243980.36 of HDFC BANK against above mention loan Account and received NOC for the same



    But still, EMI for amount Rs.16550/- have been debited from our account on 08th of Feb. Due to which our Customer’s Cheque has been rejected from bank.



    Please, let us know that who will be responsible for rejection of our customer’s Cheque ? Secondly when this cheque has been reversed in our account.

      Dear sir/madam,

      I have an HDFC salary savings account with account no [protected] at banjarahills branch. I got funds of Rs.2000 from Thrid party transfer. But the funds kept hold. I contacted my home branch today regarding the holded funds. They told to me that you have to contact credit card team as one of your credit card attached to your savings account. Then I contacted the credit card team regarding this one. They told to me that the funds had been kept hold as I have payment due towards my credit card.

      But I had never accepted anywhere for auto payment for my credit card and anything like that one.

      So please kindly help me out from this one.

      HDFC Savings Account — Poor Service

      Hi,



      My account number is[protected]. First of all iam not happy with ur services. I have issued a check an amount of 1500/- against my credit card payment to ICICI Bank on 06th Nov.07. On that day i was busy with my work. So i told my brother to deposit the money in my account. But ur branch people refuse to do so. They told him they can't deposit the cash by third party. I don't know, what are ur different policies. Today, i went to deposit the money but again ur branch people refuse to deposit the money and after a long conversation they agree to do so at 10:30AM.



      Second, My check has been bounced. As per my account i have enough money. But why the check has been dishonoured. I think As per RBI the chek should be in clearing 12:30PM onwards. Who will be the responsible for the check bounce charges and inconvinience. Plz do the needfull.

      savings account — HOLDED FUNDS WITHOUT INTIMATION

      Respected Sir,

      I am Ramya krishnakumar working as a corporate employee having salary account in HDFC bank. I also hold credit card in same bank. For past two months i didnt pay amount on my credit card as i had some financial problem. But my uncle had applied loan and decided to close all the balance and surrender the card, i was about to do this by next week. But this bank people without any intimation holded my salary account funds of rs8000. They had not given single call or any information. i had also sent mail through netbanking, but they are not releasing my funds sir. Please sir i want your help in this case as i have lots of commitment. I am in need of money now, but i couldn't withdraw it as they are holding. Please sir help me in releasing my funds.

      HDFC Savings Account — Delay in depositing cheque

      Hi,

      I deposited an outstation cheque worth 1 Lac from SBI to my HDFC account in Noida on 5th June. The amount was been debited from the SBI account on 16th June but still the amount has not been credited to my HDFC account. They are not giving any info. and are not actively pursuing the issue and are asking me to wait for few more days. Did I mention all the harassment they give everytime I call/visit their branch?

      Please tell if this delay in debit and credit should be accepted or should it be followed up legally. Please also suggest suitable legal actions to start with.

        HI All,


        I am jaswinder singh from Yamuna Nagar (Haryana).My contact Number is [protected]. I was having HDFC bank credit card.which was having limit of RS.15000. I dnt know hw my card is used on some internet sights n payment was paid in US $ . whan i got my account statment i was shocked to see that statment n same time i called to customer care .the customer care executive has blocked my card on same time.than that guy suggest me to write customercare for this n i wrote all the matter in mail from my Mail ID regarding hacking of my credit card .they people given revert me n send customer dispute form and i fill that form n send all the details to customer care.From the same day i am calling to customer care n sending mails also to Bank's customer care. all the things and the name n time is also showing which i have discussed with all customer care executivs.but my issue is still pending .And bank has made 28000 rs amount due to my side.NOw i was having 10000 Rs in my account that has been blocked by bank.Now i have got a latter that talk to Mr rahul in this regard.I am calling MR. rahul From last one week on his mobile number or on land line.But that champ is not picking my phone.If he picks my phn he says that m busy this time call me latter. kindly revert me that what to do.and where m wrong.Dear Bank Managmant kindly do the needfull.i have all mails from the month of november till today.i can show all the details.phn dialed to mr rahul from my bills details.

        I am md ibrahim from Bangalore.My contact Number is [protected]. I was having HDFC bank credit card.which was having limit of RS.75000. I dnt know hw my card is used on some internet sights . whan i got my account statment i was shocked to see that statment n same time i called to customer care .the customer care executive has blocked my card on same time.than that guy suggest me to write customercare for this n i wrote all the matter in mail from my Mail ID regarding hacking of my credit card .they people given revert me n send customer dispute form and i fill that form n send all the details to customer care.From the same day i am calling to customer care n sending mails also to Bank's customer care. all the things and the name n time is also showing which i have discussed with all customer care executivs.but my issue is still pending .kindly revert at what to do.

          hbl global pvt.ltd. (insurance) — Pf amount not received yet

          I had worked with ur co. more than 1.5yrs from Feb2006-aug2007 But i can't get my pf amount till now . So many times i had words with Mr. Manish Mayank(sales manager) but all in vain . My emplyee code was S18863. Should i take any legal action or i will get revert for the same. All fomalities for PF withdrawl from my side is completed and already forwarded to hbl global pvt. ltd.

          Dear Sir/Mam,

          Greetings of the day.

          I am Rajwansh Kour & was working with HDFC Bank under the payrolls of HBL Global.
          It has been almost 7 months since I have resigned but have not received my PF yet .
          I had forwarded the PF form in the month of April and told the HR people to kindly process the same on the urgent basis as I m need of my money for my marriage purpose. The response from the other end was that it’ll be processed with in 3 months as per the process.
          I trusted their words & called in the month of June to confirm the same but felt so sorry to hear that the form is still pending with the HR people & was not sent to the PF office to get processed.
          Then I called PF office Bombay and confirmed the same & they said that it will take 3+ months from now. I requested to process on urgent basis as I need it for my marriage, the response was that its not possible as they received tghe form on 25th june or otherwise come personally to bombay to put the request, which is not possible for me as I put up in Jammu.
          Sir I am really feeling helpless at this point of time. Also I am single parent & thought that this amount will help my mom to make few more arrangements in some way but it does not seem so but due to negligence of the HBL people it doesnt seems so. I request you to kindly consider the case & look into the matter & help me out as I really need money.

          I had resigned from my company DBS Chola Business one year before, But my Pf form my company had submitted on chennai branch on 03-sep-09. The receipt no is 2979906 for Form 19 & I got the information that the cheque no 61577 had been issued against this receipt which is sent to HDFC bank on 30-09-09 which till now I had not received the credit on my A/c no.
          And for Form 10C the company had submitted application on the same day the receipt no 2979907 for which it is showing that it is under process it will process with in 30 days after submitting form. But it allready more than 45 days over.


          Please help me regarding the credit as i had not got both the credit. please do the needful as it is difficult to call PF office as I am out pf the country.

            Myself Amit Sharma i am using a hdfc bnk credit card from lst 2 years and i am regularly paying the minimum amount due for the card from last 2 years. the limit of my card is 15000. and inspite of paying the minimum amount due regularly the bank is showing total outstanding of rs 30, 000. i asked the bank for my account statement so that i can tally the payments but they are not ready to provide. and giving me threatening calls regularly.               i faced the same problem recently i recieved the same msg. that yr. app of auto loan acct. no. 14826726 has been approaved . i recieved this msg. on 13/05/09 & today is 19/05/09.
              still then deep hyndai has not recieved any payment ant the dsa person from whom i requested for loan does not pick up my phone
              This is cost of living in a lawless society.

              I had bought my Tata Safari (Pearl White) (DL 3C BB 1638) in the 2nd week of May which got stolen from the designated parking lot in front of my house 10 days back..

              It took me 4 days to get the FIR lodged. The police themselves has a very lacklustre attitude towards the entire exercise..
              They dont think twice, when they say that "Bhai saab, yahan hur din itni gaadiyan chori hoti hai, aap kyu pareshan hote ho.. Jao baitho aa jaana 2 months baad, non traceable report le lena aur insurance claim ker lena".

              Just want to mention here when someone buys a car he/she is emotionally attached to it. We from middle class family buy a car after lots of homework and all due diligence done on financial part..

              Here I had taken car loan from HDFC Bank Limited who is again asking to pay a hefty foreclosure charges of 6%. As per them they are not concerned of what happened to vehicle but just concerned with the money. Even after telling them that it would be a forced fore-closure as I would not had for-closed it if been using the vehicle.
              In this case the car is stolen and I am forced to closed it once get money from the insurance company and that too after a long wait of 3-4 month's time.
              Even after the car is stolen, I honoured my EMI cheque and did not let it bounce.

              Now my question is:

              1. Why should I keep paying the monthly instalments when I am not using the product and have informed all the concerned authorities ie Police, Bank and Insurance Company?

              2. If from the Day-1 the risk is covered by the Insurance company then why am I forced to clear my monthly instalments? Is not this the Consumer Rights Violation??

              3. If it takes 4 months for the insurance compant to clear the money then why should I be held responsible to pay the interest amount till that time?? It should be the Insurance company's liability..


              Please help and suggest me on this...

              I really I am very happy sanctioning of loan immediately, and I have sucessfully Paid about 37 EMI Till Date.

              Now some weeks back I noticed that Bank has started Deducting money from my account and today when i Approached the Branch they told me that my Account has been converted to Saving bank account and I Must Maintain the Minimum Balance of RS 10000/PM, else RS 850 will be deducted for every Quater.               Sir i am Salaried Individaul and I cant afford to keep RS 10000 Maintained in my account. I would Request your good self to please look into the matter or suggest if there is Posibilty of Swiping my LOAN Account to any other Bank.

              Every car loan department person known my sincere, prompt payment, really I fed up with your bank responsible, sir I request you to take needful further action and please avoid unnecessary action.

                I applied for home loan in SBI. In my home loan request following are the facts :-

                1. Legal papers of property are OK
                2. Technical survey is OK
                3. My home loan Eligibility is OK
                4. Personal documents are OK
                5. Guarantor documents are OK
                6. Property market value is very good

                Based on CIBIL report, Only creditworthiness is NOT OK.

                From CIBIL report some 3 credit card issues are reflecting, and these were not in my knowledge until SBI informed me.
                In case of SCB the card was issued on Date:[protected] and issue was reported to CIBIL on immediately it was closed on Date:[protected] . Here some amount is overdue, reason is that I paid amount to HDFC on time. But in their system it was showing late payment and they started charging late fees for the same. I made lot of communication with bank, and again I am doing it for clarifying that there is no fault from my side.
                Last year this was settled (Even though there was no fault from my side). But still my name is apprearing in defaulters list of CIBIL.

                Even in case if they don't take action on the same, then whether it is so improtant to consider such illogical credit card issues for approving big home loan.

                I am financially very stable. My assets, my home loan repayment in past 2 years, my salary, No cheque bouncing proves it.
                I feel that government is not having any control on credit card issues. Customer are being harrassed by banks. According to me nobody should take a credit card.

                Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — My name in CIBIL defaulter list

                I applied for home loan in SBI. In my home loan request following are the facts :-

                5. Guarantor documents are OK
                6. Property market value is very good

                Based on CIBIL report, Only creditworthiness is NOT OK.

                In case of SCB the card was issued on Date:[protected] and issue was reported to CIBIL on immediately it was closed on Date:[protected] . Here some amount is overdue, reason is that SCB issues an unwanted Health Insurance Policy to me. and they asked me to pay the premium.                 Here I feel some SCB employee was having a contact with helath policy issuer, and he was making money while doing this fraud. But SCB is not looking this fact, and in fact they are putting cutomer in defaulter list of CIBIL.

                I had same issues. Its like customer has to carry unnecessary headache while applying for loans. I have had same issues and now i dont know how to come out of this situation. Bank people wont approve your loan until they get all credit card statements. I am very much frustrated because of this.

                  Please refer my above credit card. HDFC have made payment through electronic payment without my consent. Because of this action I am in trouble. I have made payment of Rs.16, 222/- before due date i. e. on 08/05/09 vide Cheque No.748748 drawn on State Bank of India, Mayur Vihar Branch. At the same time they have taken the payment from my HDFC Bank through electronic clearing. This is not acceptable. I need funds for other liabilities. I have requested to please give back the money at the earliest otherwise my other payment (Housing Loan & personal Loan) cheques got bounced and penalties to be levied on me unnecessarily.

                  I, Arupa Narayan Jena, holding the Business Gold Credit Card having the No: [protected] since last 1 year. I used to pay the outstanding regularly and due to the current market situation, some of my funds are blocked in the market which I am not able to retrieve till now. For this reason my current financial position is very tight and I am struggling to retrieve my fund.

                  Due to non-payment of my last month bill for the above mentioned credit card, One guy is calling regularly from the telephone no.[protected] to my mobile no: [protected].

                  I told him several times that, I am currently running in very bad financial position and I require some time to pay your bill. Every time he forced me to give the date again and again. I told him that, I am trying to get it done as soon as possible.

                  Yesterday 16th May 2009 again the guy called me in my mobile and started behaving very roughly and schooled me also. After that I told him, I don’t want to discuss any more with you and disconnected the line.

                  After that he called in my residence no.[protected] and also schooled to my family members too.

                  I request you please go through your recorded voice calls to know the truth.

                  Again today 17th May 2009, around 1.36 PM another lady called to my mobile from a mobile No: [protected] and talked for the same. I told her my problem and also tell I could not pay before 10-12 of June 2009.

                  After 5 minutes of talk the lady disconnected the line. Suddenly the guy again called in my residence no.[protected] from the telephone no.[protected] and charged me why you disconnected the line. I told him the line was disconnected form your end only. After that again he started behaving very roughly. I told him I don’t what to talk you any more and I want to talk to your credit manager and left the line.

                  After that the guy repeatedly calling in my mobile, to whom I don’t want to talk any more. I never expect such type of harassments from HDFC, such a professional BANK in India. Also surprised, how HDFC BANK is appointing such type of Guys who don’t know how to behalf to the customers!

                  In this regard I do request you kindly take immediate action to solve the situation and also request you kindly send my card account to your settlement department for full and final settlement by 12th of June 2009, which may helps me in my current financial situation.

                  I hope you can understand the situation and do the needful at the earliest.

                    I had taken a two wheeler loan from HDFC Bank.Due to my fathers accident 1 cheque is bounced.So today Date : 13/05/2009 i went to Naroda, ahmedabad, gujarat.when i came back my vehicle is not at its place i was shocked i thought that it was theft by some one.But later i come to know that it was theft by the recovery agent of HDFC Bank without any call and in my absence.I immediately went to their collection department and i met Mr. Rocky Patel i told him that i want to windup my loan and want to close the account by paying Rs.10556/- which is an outstanding amount but he refused and asked me to pay Rs.20000/- as full & final amount which includes Rs. 7000/- as latepayment & bounce charges and Rs.5000/- and seezing charge of vehicle i was really shocked and i request him to please reduce some amount i am ready to pay my remaining emi amount by they could not agreed.Is this a nominal amount of charges they are charging.Is this a employees of HDFC Bank.

                    i have taken a two wheeler loan for the total tenure of 24months out of which i had paid 17 instalments and due to unemployment for the past three months, i was not able to pay the instalments in time.
                    a couple of weeks ago my vehicle was stolen by hdfc people inspite of my request to the collection agent to come and collect one intslment and before the end of this months another instalment.

                    i went and approached the branch for further action ;in this regard and they gave me a settlement letter stating me to may an exhorbitant amount with so many unreasonable amount as penalty for repossession.

                    but i sent a letter stating my capacity of payment upto to rs.16000/- which they did not accept

                    kindly help me to collect my vehicle in which about 75% of the instalments had been paid and prepared to pay the rest also

                      But within 24hr the executive informed thet there are some civil regarding the previous consumer loan from ICICI BANK, which is already paidup...

                      My Salary Account is now being converted in to Regular Saving Account and I have got a confirmation for the same from your side. I also need to maintain AQB of Rs. 10000.

                      I visited Safdarjung Branch of HDFC today (May-13th, 2009) to deposit Rs. 6500- so that I do not have to face the axe of Rs. 750 deduction on account of insufficient AQB.

                      However, the branch personnel refused to accept cash deposit from me. Following were the arguments made by them:-

                      1/ They said, I have to close my account and open a new account. ((Why Should I do so))

                      2/ One have to deposit cash only at the branch where his / her account is. ((What is the meaning of CBS and Computerization?? In this case, I myself visited the branch, however even though if I send my representative- the branch has to honour my cash deposit request)).


                      I also met the Branch Manager, Safdarjung - Mr. Kocchar. He also supported the above arguments.

                      NOW, What should be resolution to this unethical practise and customer harassment?? I mean this is such a small service request, nowadays, even B and C grade public sector banks accept cash deposit anywhere.

                      The same was the attitude of the person on cash counter when I have visited the same branch i.e. SDA, New Delhi. I am having Saving Account in Sonipat and when I visted to SDA branch for cash deposit they refused for the same by saying that we don't accept the cash at branch, deposit the same at Home Branch.
                      HI, I HAVE ALSO FACED SIMILAR PROBLEM ON 10TH MAY WHEN I WENT TO MY HOME BRANCH NN TOWERS PITAM PURA DELHI OF HDFC BANK TO DEPOSIT CASH OF 2800RS/- ONLY BUT THE BANK BRANCH AND BRANCH MANAGER REFUSED TO DO SO AND ASKED THE SOURCE OF FUND (CASH THAT WAS TO BE DEPOSITED) IF I WANT TO DEPOSIT CASH AND ALSO ASKED 2YEARS OF INCOM TAX RETURNS IN WRITTEN REPLY TO BANK .I HAVE SENT AN MAIL TO RBI REGARDING THIS IF A BANK CAN REFUSE CASH DEPOSIT IN SAVING AC. AND WAITING FOR REPLY.
                      IN MY VIEW THE HDFC BANK HAS MADE NEW RULE OF MINIUM BALANCE OF 10000 PER QUARTER, FOR WHICH BANK IS HARASSING CLIENTS EITHER TO CLOSE THEIR AC OR TO CONVERT THEM IN 10000 MIN. BALANCE AC. EVEN THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING SATISFACTORY REPLY OF COMPLAINTS BEING MADE TO CUSTOMAR SUPPORT.

                          HI, submitted the form for address change on 23rd April at Noida sector 63 branch.Today is 11th may'09 and my address is still old.I called customer care 4 times and everytime they say that it will resolve within 1 day.I am classic customer of HDFC Bank but very sorry to say the way they care about thier customers.

                          I agree that HDFC provides worst consumer services.
                          With HDFC you cannot -
                          1. Change your address online, if you are reciving paper statements at any addres and if you go to branch for address, its pathetic, I struggled almost 3 months to get my address changed.
                          2. To do a third party transfer first fill a form and submit at branch which again takes months to resolve.
                          3. NEFT transfer from other bank takes 4-5 days, whereas my ICICI usually does it same day or next day at max.
                          4. SMS alerts - sometimes you get smetime you dont.
                          5. Go to bank to register email id if you already dont.
                          6. cannot download more than 1 month statement.

                          and many more.

                          They are worst.

                          Govt banks are far better than HDFC. Infact sometimes I feel rural banks should be better than this.

                          Please dont choose HDFC, if you dont want to get frustrated.

                            I never use hdfc bank credit card but now bank send more than one thousand amount to pay and if i talk to customer care some time give credit and some time cut the phone line but my pending amount can't come down

                            i have saving account with HDFC bank but today i withdrow entire amount

                            can you help me how resolve these problem. because HDFC BANK customer care officer tourcher me

                            I was the holder of credit card of HDFC bank (Card no. [protected], valid thru 10/08) and I came to know that the there is some over dues are balance on me, but customer care is not providing any details. I am calling to your collection dept no also at Lucknow and Delhi from last 3 days but no body is picking up the ph.

                            Kindly let me know the dues if any, as per my knowledge there is no any balance.



                            Kindly advice to your department for connects to me so that the issue/ miscommunication can be resolved. Request you to issue me the NOC certificate.

                              I have still not recived the credit card statement from the month of feb, as I do not know how much I have to pay for the Card and after the expiry they will charge me extara in the amount. this has happened before also and i think they have made the strategie for collecting the fine by not sending the Statement on time. I want a regullar statement month-on-month so the the useage can be smooth.

                                Current Account Inward Remittance Delay

                                Dear Sir,

                                I am Managing Director of Sri Veda EmSys Solutions P Ltd and I have my company's current account A/C No:[protected]. My inward remittances have always been delay by 2 days to 1 week. I transferred money from my paypal account to my current accound and my paypal debited the money on 24th of March. The Bank gave me a credit only on 26th of March. For my wire transfers from US this has always been happening....

                                I wish to complain about HDFC Insurance Ltd with whom I have 3 policies. I wished to to cancel one policy with in the free look period. I was told by the asst. branch manager to sent the relevent policy and cancellation letter to the corporate office at mumbai rahter then submitting the documents at the local office. How ever even after 2 months the policy has not been cancelled, infact intially HDFC said that they had not recieved the documents, later when i showed them the proof of delievery ( i sent the policy viz reg. post) they admitted to recieving the policy but not the cancellation letter, They now are saying that they will not cancel my policy.

                                  ON 08-05-09 I HAD GIVEN A COMPLAINT AGAINST HDFC STANDARD LIFE THAT I HAD OWN A MP4 PLAYER OF 4GB BUT THEY HAD SEND ME A EMPTY BOX OF MP3 PLAYER OF 2GB TO MY NEIGHBOR AND THE PARCEL HAD GIVEN WITHOUT TAKEN ANY SIGNATURE TO A OLD LADY.FROM 22nd ONWARDS I AM KEEP ON CALLING TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE AND EVERY TIME CUSTOMER CARE STATING THAT THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN TWO DAYS. EVERY TIME I CALL UP I GET DIFFERENT ANSWER. BUT YESTERDAY SOMEBODY FROM HDFC CALLED ME AT EVENING AND SAID THAT THEY HAVE INVESTIGATED AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING AS BECAUSE THAT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM.                                   I am in receipt of Letter dated April 04, 2011 from Binita Upadhaya informing me having registered my complaint under above said complaint no and deputing Mr Ganesh R, customer service Representative to handle the above Complaint within 2 weeks and also giving Escalation Matrix in case I don’t hear from you.

                                  I would like to share the verbal communication I had with your Mr R Ganesh on 06-apr-2011 at 10:07 on Telephone No –[protected] and appraised by him that he is closing this complaint. I am surprised to note that how he can close this complaint without giving me suitable reply on the forged signatures made by your representative and action being taken against him at your end in writing and also let me know how HDFC bank has made payment to the HDFC Life Insurance without matching my signatures. Also I am fail to understand how HDFC Bank entertained application from HDFC Life Insurance with corrections made by their representative at his own without vetting to me. More than 3 Months have passed since lodging of this complaint but till now I have not received any written reply on the above by HDFC Life Insurance & HDFC Bank in this regard.

                                  Also I am highlighting the incidence of dated 30.03.2011, where I got a call from[protected] at 9.16 am of Mr. Sanjay Gupta from HDFC Bank, Rajouri Garden Branch, New Delhi threatening me not to get out from my home if I don’t make payment of Rs. 3300/- in shape of cash today itself and again at 11.08 am I got call from Mob No. [protected] & subsequently from tel. no.[protected] to confirm from me whether I have made the payment or not.

                                  Being a heart & diabetic patient, I myself felt in great shock of such mischievous threatening call I had to made payment in cash against Receipt No.13063516 dated 30.03.2011 to Mr. Pankaj Khanna of M/s B.R. Associates (ID No. N04161) on behalf of HDFC Bank, Card Divn., 110, N M Road, Chennai, to avoid any mishappening to my health due to purchasing of this Insurance Policy. Since then, on every alternate day’s visit of your representative’s at my residence, I am facing B.P. & some type of shock problem due to which my hands are also not working normally and I am incurring a huge amount on medical expenses to overcome depression problems and till now I had spent more than Rs. 2.00 lacs. Immediately after one hour of releasing Rs.3300/-, towards Late charges as advised by Mr Sanjay Gupta of HDFC Rajouri Garden Branch. I got a courier dak from HDFC Life Insurance, Janak Puri, New Delhi to deliver the Policy Bond Certificate, which I refused to take as the same was sent to you for cancellation on 27.12.2010.

                                  Again on 31.03.2011 at 12.56 p.m I got a call from Tel. No.[protected] of Janak Puri Branch, HDFC Life Insurance asking me, why I have returned this policy certificate then I told the calling person that this policy bond was sent to you for cancellation before 3-4 months back and since then you were silent and now on getting Rs. 3300/-, your people are forcing me to purchase this Policy, which I am not interested at all and I still not getting favorable response of cancellation of the said policy and now suitable reply in writing is desired against the errant person who had made forged signature in Policy Document with suitable compensatory amount incurred on medical ailments and communication being done with you in this matter.

                                  On 6.04.2011, your Mr. R. Ganesh expressing his inability to cancel this policy and I am being forced to continue the same, which I am really not interested to continue this policy. Again, on given assurance by HDFC for issuance of regret letter to take corrective actions in future and made responsible HDFC/HDFC Life Insurance any such type of forged actions, I am yet to receive the said letter.

                                  Being subject to this everyday harassment, I request your early intervention in the matter and penalize the behavior and practices of HDFC/HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company. I request you to instruct HDFC Life to cancel the aforesaid policy, and advise the concerned to refund all cancellation charges charged against my Credit card account without any further delay.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Subject: Illegal and unethical Sales Practices of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company

                                  I am writing to you regarding my recent experience with HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company when I tried to purchase a life insurance policy. I requested the policy to be issued against my legal name, Din Dayal Gupta.

                                  However, I received a policy document number 14053316 dated 30th Nov, 2010 which was issued in incorrect name, Deen Dayal, living in Sari Rohilla which is not my correct address either.

                                  I was also shocked to find out that the insurance company had forged my signatures, wrongfully attested my passport copy and changed my name from Din Dayal Gupta to Deen Dayal in policy application documents to enable billing against my HDFC credit card which was in my old name Deen Dayal. Please see of policy, pages 2, 12, 14 and addendum page 2 for details on forgery.

                                  Since then I am continuously requesting for cancellation of the aforesaid policy and the credit card as well 27th Dec, 2010. Even after four months of follow up, I am yet to receive a policy cancellation confirmation.

                                  In the meanwhile, the HDFC credit cards division wrongfully released the annual insurance premium money to HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company against forged documents and has been requesting that money from me. HDFC Cards has also piled up late payment charges against my account.

                                  Now, both companies, HDFC Standard Life and HDFC Cards are playing football with my case. HDFC Life has so far refused to cancel the aforesaid policy and refund all balance amounts against my credit card account. HDFC Cards is also refusing to accept its error in releasing money against forged signatures and reverse the credit card charges and is asking me to fight my battle with the Life Insurance Company.

                                  Being subject to this everyday harassment, I request your early intervention in the matter and penalize the behavior and practices of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company. I request you to instruct HDFC Life to cancel the aforesaid policy, and advise the concerned to refund all cancellation charges charged against my Credit card account without any further delay.
