[Resolved] HP Compaq Laptop — Free gift offer

Non receipt of free gift offer I purchased a laptop compaq presario v6409 during oct-2007 and i was entitled for a free gift offer. As reqd. I sent a dd for rs.600/- with all the reqd. Documents such as bill, original cardboard piece containing sl. No. Etc. After obtaining a number from hp redempiton which was noted on the bill and sent it to hp redemption cell, delhi, on[protected]. As per conditions - the item will be delivered after 8 weeks. I waited for 8 weeks. But the party m/s hp redemption cell c/o solutions integrated mktg. Serv. Pvt. Ltd., a-2, okhla industrial area, phase-i, new delhi 110020 (Phone[protected] returned the only above dd (No.[protected], dt 17/10/2007, issued from indian overseas bank – chartola malanjkhand mp), but this party has not returned the other original document, which were sent by me. As per the party, they could not processed it due to the reason “ worng name – i. E. Solutions integrated marketing services pvt. Ltd. For the free gift offer, the party was unable to process the claim due to the reason that wrong name was mentioned as "solution integrated markreing servicer p. Ltd.", which is not correct. The name on the dd was hp redempiton cell, delhi, only.Instead of sending the gift after 8 weeks, dd was returned to me with the noting wrong name, that too after say 9 weeks. If there was an error, the same should have been intimatged to me immediately rather waiting for more than 8 weeks and not sending the gift as per the conditons. Kindly advise on the issue at the earliest. The details of my purchased compaq presario notebook are as follow: Notebook pc model : compaq presario v6409tu Product : china Serial no. : (S) cnf7252x45 Product : (1p) gn3972a Option : (30b) acj Intelr coretm 2 duo processor t5300 (1.73) 15.4”wxga high-defination bright view widescreen display 120gb (5400rpm) hard drive, 512mb ddr2 So, i request you kindly look at the matter & take necessary action to provide my above free gift as per terms & conditions. i've put a claim for free gift of web camera and headset but I still haven't recieved it .so I am sending this reminder to you.

i also had bought c707 tu model in jul 2007, as far is this company concerned their are lot of problems firstly they do not care after selling the laptops second they do not provide the drivers cd, spl the vendors when asked for it they say the drivers have not come uptill now. then at 1st place y was the laptop brought in market. this is duping the customer...pl tell me how to find drivers for my laptop.

HP Compaq V3424TU — Assured free gift not got

I am Sreejith.p from Kerala I mnhave procured a Hp compaq presario V3424Tu model laptop from palakkad(Dt). DD(Rs.300/-)
was sent in the given address to the procurong the free gift of Mp3 player but it is now about 2 months no information regarding the gift was not there. I had sent an email in the company address noting this point butr no response

HP Ipaq 6828 — Phone completly dead

HP ipaq 6828 Phone purchased on 11/07/2007.
got completely dead on 16/06/2008.
Submitted to service center at sakinaka, mumbai, maharastra, india on 18/06/2008.
Was informed that you get replacement in 4 days.
after 6 days of several calling from my side they told to submit dealers bill, that also submitted on 24/06/2008 personally, but still today no response from their side still.their phone lines are getting continously busy, if ever phone is attended they put on hold n phone cuts on reponsible person is their to answer whether phone will be replaced or will be repair.very bad service from HP.

i bot a compaq laptop .. the battery has gone .. due to some inconvience i could not even claim for it .. it is really bad the battery doesnt last long and .. laptop battery are expensive .. it didnt even come for a year

Hi all,
I got some problem while creating recovery dvd for my compaq laptop. I purchased it on march'08 and after that i went offshore and now after returning i tried to create the dvd's for backup but it said no DVD writer found and i have already created some 4 - 5 dvds with the same... but in case of creating recovery it said no writer what is this i got a writer and its saying no writer available.. and i have already installed some more software's is it the main reason..

Can anyone help in this...

This is to bring it to your kind notice that I have purchased a hp laptop, model no. dv2519Tu last year. i am not able to install windows xp in it .It came with preinstalled vista home premium and it is very slow .. i enven talked to the hp customer care at chandigarh and they said that windows wont be installed in it..i dont know what is the problem. plz sir help me out.

HP Compaq Laptop — poor quality hardware

Sir,

I bought a Compaq Presario laptop model No. V2655TS and serial No. CNF 63104MK for Rs.37, 658/- on[protected] form Vistaar InfoTech, Bhopal vide Bill No. 199.

Within six months of purchase, my laptop started having display problems and it used not to start at all.
I m serving in army as a doctor and was posted in Africa in a remote area, hence could not take it to a service centre. My laptop stayed in the same condition for six months. I took it to a authorized service centre in Gurgaon. (RT outsourcing Pvt. Ltd.) Unfortunately, by that time guarantee of Laptop had expired and I paid Rs 6, 500/- as its complete hard disc was changed.

However, when I received the laptop and took it back to my place its CD drive and speakers not working. I had no chance to complaint as I was again away from Delhi. After about 1 month my laptop again started failing ti get switched ON occasionally. In the mean time I spent Rs. 3, 500/- in installing new CD drive. The problem has only increased in frequency. I could not complaint earlier as I was busy in personal affairs( getting married) and most of the time did not have convenient across to internet. Besides, I am posted in Pathankot, Punjab, and a small station where Compaq services are not available and they can only offer to send my machine to Jalandhar / Chandigarh.

Sir, I feel cheated frustrated and have following grievances:

1. My laptop was problematic within the guarantee period (just too bad I could not avail it)
2. I have already spent more than Rs. 10, 000/- on my laptop and it’s still not OK.

I have lodged this complaint through my wife from her e-mail id and expect a serious consideration of my case from your side regarding this in order to recover my profuse mental agony and financial losses.
