[Resolved]  HP Compaq Laptop — Free gift offer

Non receipt of free gift offer

I purchased a laptop compaq presario v6409 during oct-2007 and i was entitled for a free gift offer. As reqd. I sent a dd for rs.600/- with all the reqd. Documents such as bill, original cardboard piece containing sl. No. Etc. After obtaining a number from hp redempiton which was noted on the bill and sent it to hp redemption cell, delhi, on[protected]. As per conditions - the item will be delivered after 8 weeks. I waited for 8 weeks.

But the party m/s hp redemption cell c/o solutions integrated mktg. Serv. Pvt. Ltd., a-2, okhla industrial area, phase-i, new delhi 110020 (Phone[protected] returned the only above dd (No.[protected], dt 17/10/2007, issued from indian overseas bank – chartola malanjkhand mp), but this party has not returned the other original document, which were sent by me. As per the party, they could not processed it due to the reason “ worng name – i. E. Solutions integrated marketing services pvt. Ltd.

For the free gift offer, the party was unable to process the claim due to the reason that wrong name was mentioned as "solution integrated markreing servicer p. Ltd.", which is not correct. The name on the dd was hp redempiton cell, delhi, only.Instead of sending the gift after 8 weeks, dd was returned to me with the noting wrong name, that too after say 9 weeks. If there was an error, the same should have been intimatged to me immediately rather waiting for more than 8 weeks and not sending the gift as per the conditons. Kindly advise on the issue at the earliest.

HP Workstation XW 8000 — hanging workstation

Dear Sir,


We have purchased HP workstation XW 8000 having Sr. No.SGH 444019 M, SGH 444019 N,

SGH 444019 J, SGH 444019 K, SGH 444019 H, SGH 44409 G. The call case id [protected] log been made from Delhi office for serial nos.SGH 444019 M having Nvedia display card problem was attended by Anmol Computech pvt ltd engineer . So he replaced the card, further all the machines purchased from u have problems like they get hanged during working hours. The serial nos SGH 444019J machine checked by the engineer also has several problems like when the machine starts it shows operating system not found, N media display card has problem too. He told that the mother board has to be changed and he has checked only 1 machine. So we are making a call log for all the machines, send us the same engineer to attend the call as he is well aware about it.

Kindly do the needful asap.

HP Pavillion — Inferior Manufacturing Defects

I have purchased above HP pavillion dv6516tx Laptop rom Mediaman Infotech PVT Ltd HN on 31/08/2007. Within 10 Months of purchase Laptop stopped working. Given to their Authorised service station SIMTECH - Dadar West took long time to repair. Again Laptop is stopped working with same problem. I request you to look into matter and please arrange to give me fresh new piece of Laptop in place of Manufacturer defect Peice delivered to me.

I'm (was) owner of Compaq Presario V 3293T Intel laptop (purchased on 20th March 2007) (s.no.1-2CE 7070M6F) from authorized vendor in Udaipur (Rajasthan) at the cost of Rs.47000/- (four seven zero zero zero). I bought this laptop considering company's reputation and propagated on quality. The first shock was when I found defective battery which was replaced after much struggle. Now, against my belief in the quality of Compaq product I discovered that the mother board has collapsed. The company service center in Udaipur is unable to explain what is consumer fault.I have evidence in form defective battery supplied to me with the laptop as reason to show the piece was of inferior quality. I had to change the RAM on advice of service center that is another evidence which shows that the laptop was of inferior quality. Now company wants me to pay Rs24000/(twenty four thousand only) to repair it. The telephone number I was sent through an email by HP consumer team (Pratima MP) to contact says that the number does not exist. This is another example quality of after sale service.

HP Pavillion Desktop - A6440IN — Non-replacement of part

Sir,
I bought my desktop on 30-05-08.After one and a half month, a line appeared on the monitor for which I registered a complaint. It was attended on 16-07-08.We were told that the LCD panel was defective and needs to be replaced.We were assured that it will be done in 4-5 days.It's been a month now, inspite of repeated reminders the LCD panel has not been replaced. Kindly advise and do needful. Thanks!

HP OfficeJet 5510 — Unable to receive and send fax

We once again bring to your notice that we had purchased a HP Officejet 5510, only 2years back and within these 2years we had to get it repaired thrice, we had already informed you about this vide our letter dated 22.07.2008.When we took our machine to your authorised dealers ALFA FAX they said that"THE CARRIAGE UNIT OF THE MACHINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED .LATER ON THEY SAID THAT THE MACHINE IS IRREPARABLE AND ONCE AGAIN THEY SAID THAT THE MACHINE CAN BE REPAIRED AND THEY WILL GIVE US A WARRANTY OF ONLY 7DAYS".Your dealers within 2years have given my OFFICE JET 5510 the status "NOT REPAIRABLE".(Internationally when a model of any consumer durable are discontinued they hold spare parts for 7years.)

HP Compaq Presario C700 — problem in audio driver.

sir/mam i bought compaq preserio c 700 laptop, OS- windows xp and the problem is with either audio or sound driver when headphones are plugged it gives sound in both laptop as well as headphones. please guide me how to resolve it coz the dealer from whom i bought this also doesn't have solution for this.

i purchased compaq presario C713TU-notebook pc dated[protected].My laptop is having problem of automatic shutdown since may.
I have given my laptop to the service centre of hewlett- packard 4 times they have repaired it many ways...but still there is no satisfactory response from them.

i had model no dv6767TX .I did what the dealer told me to do . i must be honest .they sent me the acknowledgement mail.they again sent me a mail saying that they sent the gift but received it back.i had gone for some important work so i had to go home.it was not my fault.they then sent me a mail saying that i will get it within 2-3 weeks .they will dispatch my gift as soon as possible.they had some technical difficulties and i will get the gift within 2-3 weeks but its two weeks and i haven't received any gift.its not a matter of just rs 500.its a matter of trust between a company and a customer.i dont want to lose trust on hewlett packard.according to me its the best company but such situations compel me to rethink and re-evaluate my views.please hpredemtions its a sincere request please dispatch my gift as fast as posssible because i will lose faith in u .i feel like getting cheated .please give my gift . i am waiting eagerly for it.please don't taste my patience and trust

I am Astha Verma residing at Pune.On 29/7/08, I gave my laptop for battery changing at Vintech Electronic System which is a authorized Service Center of Hp in Pune, during that time my laptop was in warranty period.

The last date of warranty was 1/08/08.But my Laptop battery has not changed yet, the people at service center are saying as you have given the laptop two days before the warranty period, so confusion is arising that whether the laptop is in warranty or not.

As per my conversation with Mr.Alok Joshi at Vintech Electronic 15 days back, he said that till now the procedure is going on and within two days we will inform you but till today no reply has come from his side.The details regarding my laptop are

Compaq 707TU — Hardware

my laptop 700 series still in warranty period but the HP service or compaq service center not ready to change my keyboard (due to switch problem)or not even give me the proper responce since last one month.
so i proceed for insurance but still i not get any help from HP or compaq, though i sent complain but they send me web page link, so again i have to do same thing in same link page.

i hope this may help me lot...
