Unexpected billing
I have two credit card from said Bank. i am using these cards since last 3 year. up to last jun-2007 there were no issue regarding billing. In july, 2007 i have recieved monthly bills where Rs-4000/- was appearing extra which I never used. I have made so many calls to customer care to resolve this issue but no action taken. after that i have'nt recieved any bills containing breakup. i got just phone calls for minimum payments, few times i have paid that also. further they are just keep adding late payment charges without sending any bills. Now they are threatening me over phone that they will take legal action. Please help me.

Dear Sir,

I am not using credit card but every time received bills of rs. 6000/-
my card already closed since long time back .

Kindly resolve this issue immediate and close the generating bill to me .

Never go for HSBC cards.. They suck you.. these MNC banks cannot recover anything from their countries and try to loot us here

Above is the part of statement. i had done the payment they shows as bal : 0.00.
I had done the payment of 6/6 Emi's .Still people are calling me and disturbing me, i had send regular mail to Jugles Pandey ( executive ) Anirudh (head of conusmer( dont no exact post), as request them to send some executive to speak me and settle down, they are considering as fool to us, no body had turned up nor they are bother to do some favour .
My request was to icici was during credit application at least i recived call 10 times but when we face the problem no one is thier.
Lets hope expected service
I further request to icici to send some, and see my stauts then only it wil make sense.

I holding HSBC credit card since 2-3 years and making regular payment for which I am using it.

In April statement they shown extra Rs. 8000 charges and for that I am keeo on requesting and sending lots of letters but till that no proper answer received. So I have stoped using credit card and requst them to block the card.

I have paid all the charges and lastly some extra charges of almost 1000 to 1500 Rs. But now every month they are keep on adding the intrest and sending revised statmemt.

I have also approved local Baroda HSBC Bank Manager, but he has never given me any responce.

There is no one in HSBC Bank to listen and solve the problem. They just want to get extrA Money from customer and haressing customer by calling every half an hr. When we explain our problem to collection dept. they will say it is not our problem and call Customer Servise dept.

I am really tired and I need your help to solve the problem.

Untill now I have return several letters to them and if needed I can sent to you.

i am repeated my complaint serveral times with hsbc customer care center and send mail to [protected]@hsbc.co.in to JUST CANCEL MY CARD ([protected] ) IMMEDIATELY. i am not receive
any response from hsbc but the are sending statement with anual fee with fine etc...

i will not pay a single pai on this credit card and requesting indian consumer care to look into this and help me to resove this problem and requesting them to take action on hsbc bank and get me no due certificate
from HSBC authority.

I am once again declaring that i dont have any liabalities with HSBC on the above said card number.

HSBC — Unexpected Billings and charges

I am holding HSBC credit card No:[protected] . I am not using this card since more than 20 months and in 2007 . I settled down eveything before I went out of country ..that time it was told to me that you pay the amount due and further no charges will be applied but still HSBC is charging me the interest. I was under impression that things has got settled down as there was no communication to me regarding the same.I came to know when few days back somebody called me from Recovery department. I have called at their call center but was not able to receive proper help from them. They are forcing me to pay bill which I have not used at all . The outstanding amount comprise of late fee and financial charges . Rest all payment was done long back I am ready to take legal action instead of paying to HSBC Please guide how should I proceed..

This is repeated with me In Jan2008,
They havent sent me statement on time and In Jan 2008. I have paid the full amount on my card.and they sent me state after 2 months and in DEC 2008 They asked me to pay amount approximatley 6000RS. I have paid amount of 6000RS. Now I have received another statement of 735 Rs.

There are two fraud persons in collection departement who give you fake email id & Mobile nos to conatct them.

I am going to raise FIR against them.
I have receive a bill statement of Rs 781. If there is any serevice charge for card renewel please cancel my credit card. i have no need of it.
There is also a financial charge in the statment. You charge for what. please cancell my card

UNEXPECTED BILLING AGAIN!

Hi,
Let me explain the whole story. I had requested for a HSBC credit card sometimes in 2006. I received the card in the beginning of 2007. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WILL BE NO ANNUAL CHARGES FOR THE CARD. But before i could make the first tarnsaction, i lost the card sometimes in May 2007. I reported this to the customer care on the same day and got the card cancelled. But during this conversation, I ALSO MENTIONED THAT I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CARD FOREVER, MEANING, I DO NOT WISH TO GET ANYMORE DUPLICATE CARD. All this happened more than 2 years before. In sometime I shifted to a new job and I also shifted to a new place, meaning both official and residential addresses were changed, also my telephone numbers. I was surprised when I got a message all fo sudden from HSBC saying THERE IS A DUE AMOUNT OF AROUND 1300 RS TO BE PAID. Yesterday I called up customer care and I was shocked to hear that, HSBC HAS SENT ME A DUPLICATE CARD TO MY OLD ADDRESS, AND ITS NOT BEEN RECEIVED, SO THE CARD IS STILL WITH HSBC, BUT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED THE ANNUAL FEES, WHICH WITH INTEREST ADDED TO 1400 RS.

First mistake of HSBC: Sending a duplicate card without me requesting for one.
Second: Without even confirming that I am staying in the same place still, the card was sent to my old address.(Thankfully the card is not received by some other person, else he had a chance to use the card however he wants)
Third: I am not even intimated that I have been sent this card.
Fourth: Atleast when the card was not received, they should have cancelled the card or invalidated the account.
Fifh: Though i was informed that there is no annual fees, i have been charged FOR A CARD WHICH IS NOT EVEN WITH ME.

THIS IS FRAUD.
I do not know how HSBC is gonna respond to this.
But there is no logic to charge for a card which is not issued to the person at all.
BUT I AM ANYWAY NOT GONNA PAY THIS AMOUNT TO HSBC.

I shall wait for a response from HSBC, and I am gonna spread this to all, so that atleast they can be aware of such fraud banks and credit cards.

HSBC Bank — Extra Payments

I have been issued a credit card by HSBC bank on my request & application form in second quarter of year 2006. I was using this card and making regular payment to HSBC Bank. Generally i got payment letters from HSBC Bank monthly. This card got expired in Feb 2008. After that i was not getting any kind of communication from HSBC Bank e.g. mails, letters etc.
It appears that after card expiry they sit silently. Now somehow they awoke after around 8/9 months and sending me letters for remaining payments. These remaining payments are only finance charges and service taxes. For every month they added these payments and now the sum is becoming around 12000.
Can you please help in this, how can i file a complaint against HSBC Bank for these unusual & unfair payments.
They are also saying that we have submitted your credit profile to CIBIL.
They are not doing good and just making the customer faulty for this.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that i have received false statement regarding credit card from your esteemed financial organisation i have not used the credit card for purchasing, from the date of card issued to me i have insured for TATA AIG GENERAL insurance in the mean time, i have cancelled the policy within due date. they have refunded the total premium amount paid by me, till now whenever i get the credit card statement it shows Rs 3300 /- due . however it should zero balance as per the norms of the credit cards. Please take necessary action and revret back through below mentioned E-Mail id.

Dear Sirs,

I have been a victim of CIBIL and banker highhandedness but decided not to take this lying down. here is what i did to improve my cibil records. the CIBIL is not a public enterprise yet behaves as one. some one needs to bring them down and file a PIL against them

As a background I had a dispute of a transaction with a bank credit card. this continued for 8 years and they finally closed the account since they were unable to answer my letters (they had not delivered the credit card to me and yet charged me for using it). upon closing the account, they malafiedly updated my cibil records to show this as written off overdue amount.

All my loan and new card applications started to be declined and then I realized what had happened. I could not afford these credit issues so I decided to settle with the credit card bank (despite them having closed the account) and under protest so as to clear my name in CIBIL. I asked them for a settlement proposal. they asked me to pay 30k towards the alleged 1.5 lacs (including interest that had accrued).

1. After I settled my dues with the credit card company, I pursed them for two months both on the phone, email and written letters every few days to update my CIBIL records. They finally stopped answering my calls and still did neither zeroize the account nro udpated CIBIL. infact I restarted receving credit card statements again with interest and service charged accruing once again

2. I lodged an FIR agains the bank and the guy who had proposed the settlement stating cheating fraud etc. and not delivering what they promised in their own proposal despite my depositing the cash.

3. I lodged a complaint with RBI

4. I lodged a complaint with RBI ombudsman - www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in and followed up repeatedly for about 2 months . finally this settlement made around nov 08 showed strains and BO rbi invited me for a meeting with the bankers in March 2009 after 3-5 months of this issue.

5. the bankers stated in the meeting that typically they mention Written OFF as the cibil status on all settled accounts, the RBI OB almost slammed the banker and said this was wrong and they need to mention that the account has been settled and also remove my name from all defaulter lists such as MCNF . they are also to provide a zeroized statement withen 1 month of the meeting

beware that the peons at the RBI BO are in deep pockets with teh bankers and they will dissuade you from attending the meeting stating that your cibil report is as it should be after settlement "written off". donot accept that and meet the secretary and the cheif of BO and state your issue.

you WILL be avenged as BO might levy penalties as well against the bankers

my hsbc credit card no - [protected] last month i have deposited my chque no - 842797 dated 6/3/09 put it inside in your drop box on 06/03/2009 but the chque realised and credit our credit card account on 11th march 2009 but the 9th and 10 bank holidays so the amt. credited in 11th only, your are debited late payament fees - bank charges in my credit card account.
the wrongly debiteed bank charges - late payment fees recredit our account immidiately. my mobile no - [protected]
