Dear Sir/Mam,
I had a credit card of HSBC bearing the no.[protected] .After using the card i made the cash payment few months against statement.
After sometime as because of some unavoidable circumstances was unable to make the payment asked the bank for settlement if they have any option for the same. One day a executive Mr. Sajid ,Mob. No.[protected] ,of M/s Bilkish Associates Pvt. Ltd, Andheri, (West) Mumbai came to me on 16.05.2008 with a settlement letter no.MUM/WO/MAY-08/15/MFS dt .May 15, 2008 where clearly mentioned INR 12000/- is to be made on or before 19th may 2008 in one installment.
Accordingly Payment of Rs.12000/-given Mr. Sajid under CHQ. No.813167 dt.17.05.08 of HDFC Bank and also the amount debited from my account. Mr. Sajid has also given me one receipt of HSBC bearing the no.CPD3 0204216 dt.16.05.08. under which received my Chq. Afterwards as per the commitment made on the HSBC settlement letter neither given me the zero balance statement nor given any no dues clearance, not only that even after receiving the settlement amount not updated to CIBIL ,as a result of which my name has not been removed.
It has been observed from many instances that in most of the cases banks are agreed upon the settlement but even after collecting the money from the customer and not up dating CIBIL and harassing the customer.
Hence, I urged before you for justice with the removal of my name from the CIBIL

Thnx & rgds,

I went to tha bank showed the police report but they said that they couldn't help & i have to pay or else they will take legal actions, so i managed some amount & asked the Recovery agent to do the settlement & they told that i have to pay atleast 11, 000, so i paid that smt & they promised me that my name would not be added to the CIBIL list, but now i m not able to apply for loans / credit card & my name is been added to CIBIL, so pls help me in this case.

if i will go for register FIR after that is no use no value for FIR.. so better then we tried to change my details but this is very hard to change..
technology is good but harmfully

Dear all,

Be very careful dealing with Blikish Associates please see this I found in Indian express .

The Terror Squad (ATS) arrested a suspected Pakistani spy on Tuesday for allegedly passing on vital information about Army establishments to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) since 2005.

Karachi resident Fahad Imam (30) was arrested from Mumbai where he had been staying since August 2008. Significantly, Imam has voted in this Lok Sabha elections — he has a genuine voter identity card issued to him in a fake name from January.

The ATS has recovered documents related to the Army, Personal Financial Information, maps of prohibited areas and a diary containing names and addresses of people living in different Indian and Pakistani cities from Imam’s possession. Besides, a driving license issued from Sikar in Rajasthan, a mobile phone, a motorcycle and money receipts of the Western Union Bank from Pakistan have also been found on him
he DIG, Rajiv Sabbarwal (ATS), said: “A Class IX dropout, Imam s revealed that he was recruited by one Debt recovery agency “Blikish Associates”, an ISI Sister concern in Karachi in 2004. After an extensive training, he was sent to India through Wagah border with a Pakistani passport on April 16, 2005.”
During interrogation, Imam said the ISI official had given him a ticket of an India-Pakistan cricket match to be held in Delhi. He had crossed the border on the pretext of watching the match. He stayed in Surat and at last in Mumbai’s Bhaindar area. Imam had visited to Shimla, Ambala, Patiala, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Agra and districts bordering Nepal to collect and pass on information through email and fax.
Mr Rajesh...

plzz dont spread any false news abt bilish Associates..tey are a well authorised company..And for ur kind information the Indian government has given the permission to BILKISH PVT to follow the customer regarding his laibilty here in India.i m very thankfull to bilkish ...for their kind help...

HSBC is the worst bank to open an account in, I would say to anyone who is even thinking of opening an account with this bank - dont do it.
I opened an NRE and NRO account with them about 3 yrs ago, first they got my name wrong, then other details wrong. Even if you go to the branch personally the staff pretend to be helpful but do nothing at all.

After a few months there were some withdrawls from my account, which ofcourse I was not even aware of because I was not even in the country. Next trip to pune was spent having to prove this and getting them to refund this money as it was a mistake on their path.

Now they have deactivated one of my accounts and charging me for it and even after using internet banking, after logging in myself and sending them a request to activate this account. I have been told I need to send or come into the bank with photo identity and a letter and all sorts of rubbish. Ofcourse all of this is only possible if I am in the country.

HSBC only charge you for all sorts, its the easiest way for them to rob their customers and Oh did I mention they will de-activate your account and charge you for that too. So if you open the account with say 10, 000 after all their charges your left with nothing.

I am in the process of closing both accounts and be rid of the nighmare called HSBC. Dunno how long this will take - wish me luck

        Hi all,

I took the HSBC Credit Card about an year ago. I have no problems as such with the card but I have started receiving calls for their premium circle program & once in a week I do receive the call for this offer, which is being provided in association with a firm called PLAT5.

The offer is quite lucrative but I am skeptical whether I should opt for it or not. In this program as shared by the tele caller, we will get vacation for 2 night & 3 days in the selected properties, 5 % Cash back maximum up to Rs 500, a domestic return ticket voucher which would cover base fare, polo club wrist watch & few international offers which can be redeemed while travelling abroad...

Altogether the package is really nice what's stopping me back is why bank is providing so many benefits in one program itself???

        Hi,

I have also taken HSBC Card 2 years back. I have never suffered any problem related to my card payment or otherwise as well. I usually get call from their department for different offers. Last month I have also received the call for the same offer & i have given positive consent for the same. I really enjoyed this offer given by HSBC in association with Plat5.
I have been associated with HSBC bank for almost 10 years now and used to get a lot of offers from the bank time to time.. Its annoying at times to receive so many calls from them specially during noon.. But if they are offering something which is worth the money spent for then we must go for it..

I used to miss those calls or usually ask for a call back, thinking that they are a mere waste of time.. But since i have got the offer of premium circle from them i have started taking calls to listen atleast once what is being offered by the bank this time.. May be i can benefit and save money like i did using premium circle offer.

In this they offered me a holiday package and i decided to go to Manali with my family.. The resort was executive and surrounded with lush green vallies. The children enjoyed to their fullest and who wouldn't be happy to see their children having fun..

Apart from this I also got 5% cash back on my credit card and a fight voucher. There was also a complimentary gift a polo club watch worth Rs 4000.. The offer was a big time money saver and i really thank HSBC PLAT5, the service provider for such a wonderful experience.
I am also using HSBC Card from last 3-4 years. I usually get calls from bank regarding different offers every day. Last month I got a call for some holiday package. The telecaller informed me about the benefits they are providing at such a beatable price. It was difficult to taken decision but finally i decided to buy the offer . Thanks to HSBC who always come up with different offers in the market & help their privilege customers to save their money.
Hi, The Premium Circle Program offered by HSBC is actually unique.. See even if, the bank is providing so many benefits to its customers, am sure it must be benefiting from this offer but in return the what bank is getting is trust of its customers upon its services & above all happy customers... which means a lot for any banking institution to survive in present scenario...

And if we look carefully for this offer in particular, bank has tied up with some PLAT5 to provide the services, so that part is being taken care by them.. hence making a win win situation for everyone, be it bank, PLAT5 or their customers.. Cheers to the great minds behind this offer..
        Hi All,

Really surprising to see such offers provided by banks these days. Every bank is coming up unique offers in market. But i would say what actually matters is customer preferences & requirements. I really like exploring places. So when they offered me this program i gave positive consent & I really enjoyed this offer.
I am too CC holder for long & has been receiving such benefits from bank.. The bank has always been nice to its customers in providing such beneficial schemes.. The bank has been very careful in choosing the product which would be given to its customers. This product is too heavy money saver & PLAT 5 has been great in providing the services.
I am using HSBC Credit credit from long time. Have not suffered any problem related to payment or otherwise as well.
Hello people... Its paras again.. Finally i have got resolution to my complain.. Thanks to all of you & others who have posted about the above said program..
Using HSBC Credit card from last 2-3 years. Have taken some offers as well offered by HSBC. Some are Ok & some are awesome.
I want to share my experience with all of HSBC credit card holder as my trip to tirupati was awesome .Actually I received a call from Plat5 in association of HSBC and they offered a vacation plan for a couple and two kids for 3 days and 2 nights with a complementary joining gift a branded watch.I must say that I have got much more than whatever I spent for this program.
I have received calls about this program sevral times.. Even i was skeptical whether to opt for it or not.. Looking at the statements above & after going through web thoroughly i think it wil be wise & i must opt for this. Thanks people..
The offer HSBC is offering to their privilege customers are really unique. They are providing offer at a very affordable price. 3 days & 2 night stay, one complimentary watch as a joining gift & 5% cash back.
I received a call from my bank HSBC around 8 months ago to avail few benefits on my credit card. Usually I listen to the offers at least once so that I can upgrade myself with whats new around .They offered me a program in association with a firm called PLAT5 Consultancy Pvt Ltd. In which they gave me a holiday package, flight voucher, 5% cash back, 3 international vouchers & a branded polo watch.. The entire package was being offered for Rs 6055 inclusive of service taxes. I really enjoyed my trip. Looking forward for more offers.
Hey Paras... Its great to read that bank is concerned about its customers & your complaint got resolved.. Must appreciate your efforts that you have made a point to come back here & writing about the soultion provided to you through bank.. Else its all complaints I can read here but no resolution, though we cannot expect anything else over consumer forum...!!!
I Beleive many customers are enrolling in this privilege circle offer & are satisfied too with their services.
HSBC in association with PLAT5 is offering holiday package to their privilege customers. From last 4 years i am using HSBC Credit card but have never suffered any problem. But this time when they offered me their privilege circle program. I could not get my booking against redemption of those vouchers. Then i called up on their Helpline number & told them my voucher number & the executive was very polite & helpful. He confirmed my voucher number & informed will call you back. He called me & informed that my booking is confirmed & they have sent my confirmation on my email ID & if still their is any problem then let us know. I really enjoyed my trip. Thanks to HSBC.
PLAT5 consultancy.. I heard about this firm through HSBC bank when they offered me Premium circle program in association with Plat5.. In this program they offered me a holiday package, flight voucher, 5% cash back & a branded polo watch.. The entire package was being offered for arnd 6K inclusive of service taxes.. The offer was attractive so I thought I must go for it & surprise my family with the package, as I have a kid who loves to go for vacation but I was refusing him due to one or the other reason.. No doubt he is a badly pampered child :) Finally I said yes to the offer & received the WP after 5 weeks during which I planned my trip & completed the pending task so that I can enjoy my holiday & relax.. We went to Mussorie, the Avalon resorts and must say the experience was amazing. The hotel is surrounded with lush green valley & the rooms were exotic. All together I would like to thank Plat5, heritage holidays & above all HSBC for having tied up with them & offering this program to its esteemed customers & make us feel special.
The bank is providing so many benefits in one program so that a complete package can be provided to its customers & in future also if they require anything they can directly call up their respective banks & ask for such additional benefits on their cards.

Now a days companies like PLAT5 are aggressively working in this direction so that they can serve the customers on behalf of banks.
Few months back I received a call from HSBC Bank. They told me about some family package in we will get 2 night & 3 days, 5 % Cash back, a domestic return ticket voucher, polo club wrist watch & few international offers which can be redeemed while travelling abroad. I refused to accept the offer due to some financial problem. My friend has also received the same call & he enrolled into the program by paying Rs 6055. He really enjoyed his trip to Mathern. I was just looking at his pics on facebook yesterday. Really amazing trip.
        Hi all,

I took Premium Circle Program from HSBC in association with PLAT5 around 7 months ago. Ater buying this offer I realized that there are too many people complaining about it. But it was too late by then & my so called free look period, as they say it was over so I was not left with any other option except utilizing it.

I am glad that it was post the cancellation period I contacted them & hence didn't get the cancellation. I filled up the holiday voucher sent it to Heritage holidays to get my bookings. I got myself booked in Park Inn Hotel, Manali & it was one of th my best holidays with my family. The property was above my expectations & best thing the stay was completely covered by PLAT5, which helped me save a lot of money. Also, got 5% cash back on my HSBC credit card.

Thanks for providing such a wonderful trip.
I too have availed Premium Circle program offered to HSBC Credit card holders & must say its value for money.

Would like to explain my point :
        1. If we utilize International Vouchers we get straight away a reimbursement o[censored]pto Rs. 10K, which definitely covers the entire cost we pay against this package.

        2. If we go any of the destinations listed with them, they all are high class properties & if we have to pay for stay in any of the properties it costs around approximately 8-10K just for the stay. Where as through this offer the stay part is being covered by PLAT5 & HHPL team.

        3. A branded Polo wrist watch, which is quite dashing to look at.

So overall this is a superb offer & none should miss it. HSBC Credit card holders don't loose the opportunity to save your money & enjoy at your max through this offer.
        Hi Friends,

Yesterday I received the call from HSBC in association with Plat5. They told me about some privilege circle program. The executive told me about the whole offer & I asked him to call me tommorow. last night i was going through the comments people share regarding this offer. Seems that the offer is quite good. today they called me up in the morning & finally after discussion with my family I have enrolled myself for this offer.
the bank is offering so much so that the bank can retain its potential customers with them. Now days there is so much competition in the market. Its "survival of the fittest" and only the best one wins. so in order to keep itself off the league every bank has to offer something unique & HSBC is doing the same.
        Hi all,

I have too availed the benefits from HSBC Bank's Premium circle program.. I liked the offer for the vacation & polo wrist watch provided to the customers. Everything was done keeping in mind customer satisfaction. The level of services delivered over the phone was meticulous. I never thought that HSBC can extend the level of services to this level with a third party PLAT5 in order to keep its customers happy. Good work team...
The premium circle program offered to HSBC credit card customers in association with PLAT5 consultancy is an excellent opportunity for specially those who like to holiday and enjoy their lives either in India or in abroad. I took the offer and found there are a lot of benefits offered to us as HSBC credit card holders so i must share my experience with others who hold the credit card and can get benefits from the program. In this offer we have the benefit to get vacation for 2 nights & 3 days (which can be easily planned over any weekend, as I did the same). The holiday can be availed at any of the selected locations from the list provided by the PLAT5 team. This makes it easier for us to decide where we should plan the holiday. In total they are providing us with 60 locations out of which 11 are abroad & 49 are in India. I have gone through the website and found that they are really wonderful properties & we have to pay a lot if we plan to stay there on our own. Here the stay part is being covered by PLAT5 team so we don't have to pay that. Sounds great indeed for us!! Just holding a credit card and getting so many benefits...There are additional benefits like a polo club wrist watch, 5% cash back for 60 days on shopping which is limited to Rs. 500 and a domestic air ticket, which covers the base fare for us. Thanks HSBC & PLAT5 for giving such benefits.
Hey thanks for updating your experiences & remarks for the program as I was too looking forward to get myself enrolled with the offer but was bit confused with a third party involvement & was dicey about the level of services which would be offered to us. But after reading all the above comments I am sure that we must go for it & get all the benefits.
I am too a part of premium circle program. I got myself enrolled last year & benefited by using their international vouchers. On these vouchers they said I can get a handsome waiver of straightway upto 10K by just shoing my passes/tickets which I have bought abroad. There were 3 offers as told to me, cruise, amusement part & sports. I boarded a cruise & upon coming back to Indian just sent my tickets to PLAT5 team so that I can get my reimbursement. I got a waiver of 8000Rs.. Thanks team
I had a wonderful experience when I got myself enrolled with the premium circle program from PLAT5 & HSBC. Both the companies have done a great job by coming together & offering so many benefits in the same program. When i took the offer i was bit surprised too that how will they mange giving so much to their customers but upon enrolling I realized that it is PLAT5 which is maintaining the services & hence it is easy to cater all the customers in providing the bookings for hotels. Great work teams.
I have also enjoyed the benefits of Premium circle membership. I took the program last year & it was a wonderful experience... I can see that a lot of people have been selected over the period of time for this wonderful program.
HSBC's Premium circle program provides one of the best opportunities to its customers to enjoy a holiday at beautiful destinations selected by them. The Plat5 covers the stay part & we have to pay just Rs. 250 as handling charges. I have too enrolled in the program & it was a wonderful experience
I took the premium circle program in association with PLAT5 from HSBC Bank.. They have provided wonderful offers in this to the customers so that they can save their money & benefit from it... I too have enrolled myself & went for vacation. It was one of the memorable experience.. Thanks HSBC
hey i have also taken this program from my bank & it definitely helped to save my money.. I enjoyed all the benefits except the domestic air ticket as I didn't get time to avail it. Except that all the benefits were really helpful to me & I am thankful to HSBC for providing this offer & to PLAT5 for giving the services.
I took the above said program from HSBC & PLAT5 and me and my wife went to Sterling resorts, Ooty to celebrate our anniversary. By every means the offer was beneficial for me & enjoyed every bit of my trip. I am highly thankful to both the companies for this.
Hey i too have been to the same Sterling resort.. I believe it is one of the best listed property in their list that's why they are sending everyone there.. Am saying so for two reasons...
        1. I had a fabulous time over there with my husband.
        2. Its good that they are taking care of HSBC CC holders in a nice manner. It obviously shows the reputation HSBC & PLAT5 share amongst each other.
        Keep it up teams.
Am too overwhelmed with the services offered to me through the Premium circle program of HSBC. I was under the impression that this third party intervention would create problems and we wont able to bet the benefits as they are listed in the program.. But am glad every thing was set in place and also thank HHP & PLAT5 for this.
such programs offered through prestigious institutions like HSBC are always beneficial. Though I have not taken this program but in pat I have received a lot of calls for same that's why I searched for it and found this page... After reading above it seems that there are a lot people benefiting from thie offer.. I will also go for it.. Thanks for your comments everyone...
Hi everyone, i have been associated with Premium circle for quite some time now and just want to share that it was a wonderful experience for me and my family. I got this offer on my credit card and the offer benefited me me as it helped me to save a lot of money and on the other hand enjoy with my family.

I just paid rs.6055 & got a holiday for 2 nights and 3 days in me and my family in Ooty and it was in one of the best resorts of Ooty.. I never thought that HSBC would cater so nicely to its customers and provide them so much in just one package. The package is being offered in association with PLAT5 and Heritage holidays.. And they are giving in their best...

Apart from the holiday I got 5% cash back, a domestic polo wrist watch and there were few international offers too. I didn't get time to avail them.

Thanks a lot for all the benefits.
I would also like to give my sincere thanks to HSBC for offering this wonderful program to the credit card holders and making them feel special. Also, would like to thank PLAT5 for providing the best of services and HHPL for doing the bookings even at the last hour.. Though HHPL had the option to refuse the voucher as a week before it got expired but they it was their special gesture that they provided the bookings to us...
I took the premium circle program from HSBC in association with PLAT5 last year. Why am I writing all this is because I had a fabulous experience in this program and I want everyone to know this so that they can benefit from this and enjoy the benefits of Premium circle program.

Initially i was not much convinced with the offer cos of two reasons:
        1. We were to make a payment of Rs. 6055 to them which would be debited in advance from the credit card.
        2. In flight voucher they were giving just base fare and taxes we had to pay.

But, the agent told me that I can recover the entire cost I am paying towards this offer by just the vacation offer, as they are providing very exotic properties to stay in.. Wasn't still very sure but said yes for the offer as i really needed a break from my schedule..

Trust me guys it was a fabulous holiday and I would like to thank HSBC and Plat5 for this..
Hey, Like you i have recovered the entire cost of this offer just by availing the vacation offer and little amount of cash back. I went to holiday in Pataya and if had to pay for accommodation from my pocket I would have end up paying atleast 3 times what I have paid for this offer. The property was a wonderful one. Thanks to HSBC and PLAT5 for this offer.
Hi guys.. I had enjoyed the benefits of the said program and it was one of the best deals have ever got from any bank. I just want to say thanks to the entire teams i.e. PLAT5, HHPL and above all HSBC Bank for coming together and giving this program.
I took the program initially to avail the flight offer but later on I realised that it is the vacation offer which would benefit the most and I got my bookings through HHPL and PLAT5 team.. They were meticulous in providing the services.. Thanks
Premium circle has actually benefited a lot of people and it certainly can be seen by the large number of positive comments posted here.. Though we do have complaints here but when ever we have lots of customers of a particular product its obvious that every individual cannot be satisfied... which results in increased number of complaints. Just want to say that I have had a wonderful experience with this offer and still cherish the memories.. Thanks

HSB people canelled my card without giving any intimation to me and it was very terrible situation for me when i went for shopping and given my HSBC card for swiping, and the shopkeeper informed that i need to speak to customer card for clarification and came to know from customer card that card has been cancelled.

If you check the history of payment on the card you will find that all payments was regularly made but things gone worst when i started reqeusting for limit enhancement which they simply neglected. It should be our right to know that on what grounds banks consider the limit enhancement request. Then my account was wrongly debited with late fee charges and i continuously followed for reversal of charges. It was not acceptable at all, first you debit the account with late fee charges and then all of sudden cancell the card without informing the customer. I kept on requesting them for reinstating of card and i was assured that same will be done. I was clealry mentioning in all my mails that till the time needful is done i will not make any payment but they people were lest bothered about my concern. Then they started calling my numbers threating for payment of outstanding. I have sent n number of mails to nodal officer, HSBC for doing the needful but they are not ready to listen at all.

I have reqeusted them to reinstate my card and reverse all the unnecessary charges debited in my account and also send me apology letter for the harassment i faced in the entire episode. I am ready to make all payment in one sort subject to condition that all charges are immeditately reversed and card is reinstated.

Hope that my case is taken on prioroty to avoid harassment which i am facing due to colletion agents calling me regularly.

If any of you are thinking about investing with HSBC - PMS, please don't. You will save yourself a lot of heartache. Not only is the choice of stocks bad, but the timing of buying and selling is completely indefensible. Horrible performance in spite of staying invested for over 2 years. OK because of market vagaries, one can excuse the performance. Of course they have the BEST Fund Manager who will naturally "outperform" the market. Which never happens.

But the services and the over charging? Providing completely wrong end of the year financial documents? Wrong Balance Sheets? Even the ones signed by their auditors? Horrible feedback and total opaqueness from their account executives, so called "Relationship Managers"? But wait...the worst is still to come.

I decided to stop the PMS and asked for the stocks back in my custody and control. It has now been 7 months since I stopped the PMS...they have given me custody...but I cannot buy or sell the shares!! There is always some document or other that has not been signed. Some permission letter not submitted. Or some Letter of Authority that still needs to be issued. I am FED UP! Mind you I have been a customer of HSBC for the last 26 years and a Premier customer for 25 of those years.

God help the new customers. Lalit Manaktala. New Delhi.

Even I have experinced a very bad quality of services. They call themselves as a "world's local bank", but they do not the proper meaning of banking.
I am premier customer of HSBC and now lost the faith on HSBC. even thinking twice on my relationship manager advice and now thinking of redeem all my funds with them and do it my self without their help.
I have had a similar experience with the hsbc pms and i believe there are innumerable people across the country who have similar shocking experiences. I wish some regulatory body like sebi or someone takes up these cases and formulate guidelines so that the customers do not lose and the banks still make money and reward themselves for their underperformance. amitabha datta kolkata

              Hello,

On July 30th 2010 I have applied for HSBC credit card. When I called customer care Pune, I came to know that my application is rejected. I am perfectly fine if my application gets rejected because of any reason however; I would need all documents which I had submitted along with the form.

The response of a Call center guy was horrible when I asked him about returning my documents he simply went on MUTE and stopped responding.

I am no more interested in HSBC credit card even if you offer it free of cost. I just need all documents back and also would like to bring to your senior management notice about the response I got from your so called customer care.

              Documents which I had submitted:

              1. Photos
              2. Visiting Card
              3. PAN Card photocopy
              4. Passport photocopy
              5. Light bill

I hope I will get a positive response. Thanks in advance.

              Regards,
              Ravi

                Settlement Letter - June'09 for 18999.24

                Payment:

                July'09 - 3500.00
                Aug'09 - 3600.00
                Sep'09 - 3800.00
Oct'09 - 5100.00 (after approval with Mr.Ravi of HSBC as last date of settlement was 30th September'09)

All details confirmed with the Settlement Customer Care no. at [protected] at 16.38 on 19.8.2010 and further with Bank at my personal visit of HSBC office on 24.8.10.

At my above visit, Bank informed me that my settlement was void, as last date was 30th September and Mr. Ravi left HSBC, so his commitment is not valid. I had to further settle my account for Rs. 30,000/-.

At the time of my last payment, Mr. Ravi was employee of HSBC (not settlement agency), and represent HSBC. His commitment can be deemed to be commitment of HSBC.

Further, no communication was made as of void of above settlement.

I a not a HSBC credit card holder. I received a call from HSBC Punjabi Bagh office. Some lady, who apparently works in my Company, is a defaulter of HSBC, as per the executive. The customer's name is Roma Khatri. She has been receiving calls from HSBC regarding payments, and as per HSBC she has given my number to HSBC as an alternate number. I do not know this employee. I have been receiving calls from HSBC since morning constantly, and they are speaking with me in sly language, they also have recovered my landline number and are calling on it too, continuously, giving bad words to my family members as well. The number from which I have received calls is[protected].

I do agree that this is a recovery call, and they have to behave firmly with defaulters, but I tried my best to convince them that I am in no way associated with any Roma Khatri, who is the defaulter. But they are not ready to listen anything and are speaking sly language. Also I have contacted my company admin and Roma Khatri as well, and she is a new comer and said has already closed the card 3 yrs back, and has not given HSBC my number.

I want strict action to be taken on this issue, the lady has not disclosed her name. I am ready to lodge a police compliant if no revert received or action taken.

                  Regards,

                  Sandeep Nathani

I have used a HSBC Platinum Card till the month of June 2009. There were some issues related to a payment made on the Due Date in spite of which I was asked to pay late payment charges. I paid up and stopped using the card and called HSBC to cancel my card. They could not connect me to their internal department for cancellation. Thereafter I have never used the card. This card was given to me as a free card for 3 years and the expiry is in Jan 2012.

On Aug 19th 2010 I received several calls from HSBC collection department asking me to pay up Rs 3445. The reason being, my card has been charged with annual charges in the month of Jan 2010 which I failed to pay because I never received any statement. However these charges were reversed later and I have to pay the late payments charges for not paying up the annual charges since Jan 2010 which comes to Rs. 3500. Nobody called me to pay up in between within these seven months.

My statement used to come to my office that has changed and all these mail bounces were never informed. Only after 180 days of non-payment of late payment charges on account of some charge that should not have come to my card at all I am getting calls 15 times a day.

I had a credit card(master card) from HSBC. Its limit was 60000. By mistake once it can crossed the limit (Rs 61000).

From the customer point of view

                          1) They should never allow overlimit.
                          2) Even if they allow, there is a huge fine(Rs 550 each month)
                          3) Fine does not end for one month. It again continues for the next month also which is not correct.
4)On this end, I have canceled the card and decided to not to pay the fine amount.
5)This also leads to kind of mental torture .

I ask to seek compensation from the back regardign this and stop minting money from the customer like this

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,

Ref No : HSBC Bank Credit Card Number [protected]

This is to reference to the subject, I Sachin Dwivedi employee of HSBC Bank using HSBC Bank Credit Card from October 2009, but on 14/03/2010 I received the call from HSBC Bank “Risk Department” stating confirmation on online transaction done on 13/03/2010 & 14/03/2010, I told them I have not used the credit card for any sort of online payment. The person told me that the transaction of Rs 40000/- (approx) have been done from your credit card, for some payment of (Idea cellular & Oxycash Info vision Pvt Ltd), I refused the confirmation of payment & blocked the credit card on 14/03/2010. After that I have contacted HSBC Call Center number many a times but they told investigation is still going on.

As advised by Call Center CRE, I have raised the Customer Dispute form, stating the details of dispute & mailed to Chargeback Section Team. After that I have made several calls to HSBC Call Center but every time, the response received was, that they would require some more time to investigate. Further I have contacted HSBC call center every week to know the investigation status, but still have not received any concrete reply or settlement from the Bank, ( the Response received was to contact next week for second level of investigation and there was no progress on the same till months). Also Call Center person requested not to go for any legal proceedings or any complain till investigation is in process.

On 6th July, I have received a letter from Chargeback Operations communicating that, “Transaction has been carried out using card security features for online transaction & conditional authentication( i.e., using additional authentication of your date of birth) and hence we request to make the payment for the same” .Being a staff I awaited 4 month for investigation & as investigation was not in favor of me after that i appraoched Nodal Officer of the HSBC Bank the reply was also not under my favor Now i have lodged the case with Cyber Police (Bandra Kurla Complex B.K.C) for investigation the case, simultaneously I want investigation from you side too. I am not aware that who have done these online transactions from my credit card.

Kindly check the matter on priority & try to reversed it back the discrepancy amount with the interest charge to my account, being a staff “Minimum Amt Due” is getting debited every month & I am charged with finance Charges every month. It’s my humble request to reverse back the Amount including Interest & Service tax charges which are every month to me. Help to me with the feasible solution as soon as possible.

I used HSBC Credit card for Rs. 6550 in May, 06. I have made the payment also. But, bank debited Rs. 6550 for the second time. When I asked the reason, I was told the card was used twice for the same transaction. I told the fact that I have used only once. Then the bank people told me to collect the amount from the shop and pay the amount. After 3 months, when I asked the bank people that the shop person is not giving the money, they told me to lodge a complaint. I gave a written complaint to the bank upon which they reversed Rs. 6550, but did not reverse the interest of Rs. 2500. They told me that once the issue is resolved in 50 business days, then they will reverse this amount. However after 1 and half year they told me that I need to pay Rs. 2500 which I dont need to pay. After that they called me again and again to pay this amount and kept levying tax on this which has now become Rs. 12500. Now, they sent me a legal notice to pay Rs. 16000. What do I do on this issue with HSBC bank?

                            Regards,
                            Sudhakar Danda

I was holding HSBC credit card no. [protected]. Due to my sudden illness and other domestic related problems, I was not in a position to make the entire dues and entered into a settlement. Cheques for monthly payment was made and the last month due was on June 2010. The amount informed by the Executive was collected by the collection agent . I have paid an amount of Rs.20716 every month and in the begining in September 2009, as per the advice of the HSBC executive Mr.Parind Malbari, I paid Rs.20,000/-
While making last payment in June-2010, it was confirmed with the executive of HSBC and the collection agent Rajesh yadav of Credit Investigation Agency who came home and informed the amount and collected the cheque.
But now in august-2010, I have been continuously called and harrased by the collection agents that the settlement has become null and void since I have paid short of Rs.716/- and hence I have to pay another Rs.2,50,000/- which appears to be nothing but harrasment.
I request the authorities to look into the problem and help me to come out of this crisis.

                              Complaint marked as Resolved

HSBC Ltd — Arbitrary debit by HSBC bank from my Savings account (A/c No051-260925-006)

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note I am holding above mentioned savings account with HSBC Delhi Barakhamba branch since around past 20 years. Earlier I had one credit card (Credit card No:[protected])also from the same branch, which I discontinued in Jan 2008 after being totally dissatisfied with their services mainly non-receipt of account statements and it was duly informed to HSBC the same day
The intent and reasons to discontinue the said credit card were duly communicated to Bank immediately by e-mail and I even received an acknowledgment for the same from HSBC over e mail. Now after almost 2-years they had suddenly informed by SMS ON 29-10-09 about having deducted an amount of Rs.11324/- as debit, which I could have never used as I had destroyed the said card in Jan 2008. On being asked about the details by e mail, they have communicated this amount being deducted against the same Credit card, which is not in use since Jan 2008. (no details are provided)
Apparently sometime in Dec 2007, there was an issue with the bank regarding some late fee charges being levied by the bank, which I never paid (as I never got the monthly statements in time and the fault was at bank’s end) and the actual billed/used amount was duly paid.
Hence now after almost 2-years this action by the bank is totally arbitrary and unexplainable. That such action is without any pre intimation, so it is really shocking. Moreover I had never consented to adjust or debit my credit card dues from my saving bank account at any time.
I have already written to them asking to reverse this debit but don’t expect a positive action.

Kindly advise further approach in this matter.
Looking forward to your kind feedback.

                              Thanking You,
                              Yours truly,

HSBC Ltd — Deactivation of earlier debit card before activating the new one

I have a Powervantage Savings Salary account in HSBC Ltd. The HSBC forcibly converted my Powervantage account into a HSBC advance account without taking my prior approval & sent me the welcome kit for the same.

The kit said I would receive a HSBC Advance Platinum Debit card will be despatched in 10 working days. When I did not receive that card in 15 days, I raised a query through the online secure message with HSBC.

I received the card on 17th August 2010 but still did not receive the ATM PIN. The same day I used my old card for cash withdrawal which was not accepted. I called the HSBC Phone banking no & they told me that the old card has been deactivated on 14th August 2010 & you could use the new card with the same ATM PIN which I checked was not true.

I spoke to the their relevant Manager today & he said it was a mistake.

I need justice that even though I have money in my account I am not able to use a penny only because of a mistake by someone in the Bank. I am cash strapped & the Bank refuses any other help apart from dispatching the ATM PIN within 3 working days. I need to travel extensively outside the city & would not be available in Delhi when the ATM Pin will be delivered to me

                                Hi,

I was using HSBC credit card in 2006, my card was expired in Dec 2008 and there was no amount(single rupee) due. Bank neither issued new card nor infomed me about old card will be extended. after more than 1 and half year, i received a call to pay Rs. 5090 toward cradit card due.

When i confirmed the transaction on which bank has added the changes, they replied with service charges they have automatically added.

How it is possible that card is still active even after card is expired (expiry date mentioned as per card is 12/08)?

Please revert the amount which is charged without my knowledge as well as close the card if it is not closed yet.

                                Regards,

They talk about their Global Footprint and their Integrity. Please look at the following sites and see what the Indian people are saying about HSBC behaviour towards them.

                                  Respected Sir,

I am B.Yoganjal Reddy,I got a credit card no--[protected] from hsbc bank at Trivandrum and
offered a loan amount of Rs.20000/- and sent the cheque to me without informing before sending. However I have not received the cheque, it went back to the head office. Then I called customer care and requested to cancel the loan and they accepted for the same.

But next month onwards started sending me the monthly EMI to my bill, then called to customer care people and informed the same. It went on for couple of months, then they started asking me to pay at least late payment charges. I called numerous times and informed the customer care people, they have not taken any action on my EMI's. Hence I told them to cancelclose my credit card.

After three years I got a call from settlement department(Ph: [protected]) and informed me that you have to Rs.14000/- otherwise we will add your name in CIBIL list. I told them clearly, please provide me the details of transactions which ever I made so far, then I will pay my balance amount. They are not ready send me the transaction list. Even I followed up with the customer care people, I didn't get any response from them as well. After long discussion with the settlement department they came down and ask me to pay Rs.2500/- to settle the account and clearly told that since I have not made any transaction why should I pay you.

Every month I receive a show cause notice from HSBC regarding non-payment of dues. Now the amount becomes Rs.23000/-. I am really upset of the services of HSBC credit card.

So, request you to re look into the transactions and please do the needful.

                                  I am waiting for u r reply.

                                  Thanking you sir,
                                  B. Yoganjal Reddy

Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Michael Mason-Mahon and I am a shareholder of HSBC Plc. I am based in London yet I am a very regular visitor to India.

At HSBC Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2010 I did address my concerns with the Board of Directors concerning what HSBC India has been doing and is doing in India to our customers.

I may be able to help you. I can assure you that I will do all that I can to help you. I have been very successful in the people that I have taken up their cases with HSBC. Now they will not let me help anymore Indian's. You may wonder why, ask the Chairman of HSBC Plc Mr Flint why.

Please go to this site. This is an interview that I did concerning HSBC.

If customers UNITE in India and decide to leave HSBC India in support of their fellow Indian's, who are making complaints about HSBC India then this may make HSBC Plc take action.
They talk about their Global Footprint and their Integrity. Please look at the following sites and see what the Indian people are saying about HSBC behaviour towards them.

Now ask yourself is this the Bank for you in India.

So if you would like to contact me and send me your phone number I will call you personally.

                                    Kind regards
