IFB / Washing Machine — Poor service from IFB.
I didn't expected such a poor service from IFB.I have a 5KG Elena Model Washing Machine is covered under Warranty upto[protected]. I registered a complaint on 21.01.2010 to the Chennai office before warranty period and despite of making lot of calls to their service center there is no response. I have spoken to the higher officials too regarding this issue. After 3rd day some person came from the company and told that PCB board has to be changed so i taken the faulty PCB board and he gave the next AMC amount by check. He promised to repair/ change the PCB board on the coming day. Despite my repeated telephones to your office at Chennai and assurances given by the person attending the calls, nobody has come to repair the machine. I do not know the reasons for the delay. If there is some problem then I should be informed so that some alternative arrangements could be made. Negligence and carelessness on the part of your office has been causing great inconvenience and avoidable expenditure on the washing of cloths in the washing. ONLY SELLING AND AMC IS THE AIM OF THE COMPANY. I THINK ITS HIGH TIME THAT IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
I am having IFB Elite - 5Kg washing machine which is under extended warranty upto December 2010. The machine is not working due to the link parts of the front load opener broken. I have made a complaint on 21.01.2010 and my ticket No.4052461. This service personnel came on 25.01.10 eventhough your staff assured that the complaint will be attended within 24 hours. The service in charge informed that the broken parts are not available and will be replaced soon. However till date the parts are not replaced. More than 13 days have gone since, I made the complaint but in vain. I am very much frustrated about the unresponsive attitude and poor response of the service in Puducherry. I have purchased the IFB machine with hope that the best product is purchased but the service back up is very poor. I don’t know when will my complaint be attended. With deep regret.
We buy an IFB senorita deluxe washing machine on Sep09. The front door rubber can be problem and also the water pipe out has not working. we can let out water from the front emergency hole. We can given an complaint about that but there is no response for that. I hop that this mail. useful. We buy it in MSK Traders at Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram Dt.
i have IFB washing maching with 5.5 lit capacity . i am not in to AMC also . my machine is not in runing condtion so can u please provide with some customer care number . my address is 15 a ragavan street, choolaimedu .chennai

I have not seen any kind of worst service like this. I am spending my money and call from china. People at call centre are cutting the calls just like that.
No body is taking a responsibility on the below issue. I am registering the customer complaint and IFB is responsible to liable to pay the penalty and the dissatisfaction happened to me.
I am frustrated now and I don’t want any replacement further. I want my money back with the interest and penalty charges incurred. If I am not going to get this with in a week time, I am going to civil case against IFB for cheating a customer and giving a dissatisfactory service.
If required I will raise this with the Media.

I have bought a IFB Senorita DX on 14th Jan 2010, but after since the same was giving trouble which we have raised complaints and nobody till now has bothered to revert back. I am totally fed up of the service provided to me. I have been following up from 01st Feb since I am going out of station this weekend, but no body bothered for customer till now. I am regretting today why I have bought IFB, we were already using Whirlpool, which had provided a wonderful service.
The best of Brand name is not providing the same as best which requires to be the best in class.
If I am not been addressed immediately, I am going to take this legally.

VERY POOR SERVICE
I have lodged complaint on January 02, 2010 and the complaint number is 644371.
There is no action till date. I have approched your Regional Manager Mr. Krihsnakumar and negotiated for an exchange if the complaint can not be rectified. On March 13, 2010 I have negotiated for an exchange if the complaint cannot be rcctified as my AMC with you is expiring on March 18, 2010.The one who attending the telephone keep saying the same and she is least cared what the cstomer is trying to say. It ia very embarassing for a customer like me who is wholly depending upon the washing machine and for standard brand like IFB. I hereby request your further instruction at the earliest. I would like to know how far my grievences are recovered through your AMC. I further expect my limitation to approch the Consumer court for thr compensation for thr hardships that I have faced during all these days. I look forward for your constructive action to solve the above. A reluctunce in reply will give me a impression that it is not Trichy Region but the entire business network is so lathargic in the customer servvice measurement and management is null.

Washing Machine — QUALITY OF REPAIR NOT GOOD
service issueA complaint for a faulty washing machine was reported on the 1st April . complaint no [protected]
the same was repaired on the 1th April but the problem is still there.
the service engineer (Mr.Srinivasan) was responding most terrible
please look into the matter i am completely fed up.

i Do have a worst experiance with IFB service quality.
My machine is under AMC. I had booked a complaint before 10days. No one is attend the call so far.
some 2 months back i got a regular call for taking up AMC and with the high torture i have taken AMC.
Now no one is there to attend the call.

Washing machine senator — Machine out of work
My washing mechine is out of order for the last one month. I submited this request earler in your office with the result a technesian from patiala came to me , he told me that ruber pipe is to be replaced, he promised to replace it shortly but he did not return after 15 days has been passed. IFB WASHING MACHINE — POOR SERVICE
I am having a New IFB Washing machine. I rasied a complaint on 14 june'10 saying there is over flow of water and its not working. The complaint number is 4639337. The service team came to my house next day and found that there is a problum in the washing machine and some part needs to be replaced. Till today no one has attened it and when i call them they are telling that the parts are out of stock and it will be comming today or tomorrow from pune.Till today their tomorrow has never came and till today my washing machine is idle.
I call so many time to Mr.Manoj at pune he is able to give replay about my machine part and its warabout.I aslo talk with Ashvin Kumar who is incharge of Aurangabad.He have also no answer
I bought an IFB Washing Machine approximately six months back in Faridabad.
The model is SENORITA DX & is under warranty for four years.
Concern / Problem
The concern is that the machine is not washing clothes properly & the washing machine smells.
Due to this problem we are not using the machine to wash our clothes as when we wash our clothes in the machine the clothes smell.
I have taken the below actions before writing on this forum.
Action 1
I logged a call with IFB call center on 9th June 2010 & complaint number was 4616830.
The service Engineer came & without having a look at the machine he said I need to buy scale remover from him. I bought IFB Descal Scale Remover from him for Rs. 150/-. I paid Rs. 150/- by cash & I was not given any receipt of the same. He started the process & said it will be over in 90 minutes & then the machine will be fine. He left after that.
However on the cover of the descal scale remover it is written that after this operation ends one need to "Clean the fluff filter and refix the filter & then rinse the empty machine with fresh water for 10 minutes" but nothing of this sort was done.
Further to my surprise the call was closed by IFB Service franchise without even taking a feedback from me as end customer.
So, there is clearly a deficiency of services on part of IFB Service franchise.
Action 2
I logged another call with IFB call center on 22nd June 2010 & complaint number was 4681612.
To my surprise the call was closed by IFB Service franchise without attending. No one visited my house to check the machine.
I am feeling being cheated by IFB Service franchise

I logged another call with IFB call center on 2nd July 2010 & complaint number was 4729882
No one has yet come to attend the call however it is over 24 hours the call has been logged.
Action 4
I called the IFB Service franchise on number [protected] half an hour ago & they say all the Engineers are in field & I will not service today & only on Monday.
If you can help please help. Unfortunately no escalation matrix is shared by IFB & if anyone has one please share.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Getting cheated by the Digitech Services
Hi,This is to inform you that recently we faced problems with our washing machine and got it touch with Digitech Services, Ulsoor to get the problem resolved. The technician came home and told us that the draining motor needs to be replaced and he would get back in a day. After he left we realized that he had carried the part along. We called him to get the part back ..he got it back but he had manually damaged it in such a way that it would not be of any use in future. What do we do to get rid of such people in the service industry ..

Every day he will come with part then he will say another part is gone. Then the next day again he will come and repair that and will say another part is gone. Likewise for the last one week he was doing the same thing. Unfortunately for the last two days there is sign of him and the machine is still not working. These kind o[censored]seless fellows should be thrown out from the company otherwise the name of such a big company will get spoiled.Kindly look into the matter and please help me from the inconvenience.

This is absolutely correct. we dont know why such a reputed company is so irressponsible. There is no after sale service and even if we enter into amc they dont care. This brand name can be substituted for any cheating.
Washing machine senator — dryer motor not working
I am d pauldevaraj address No two indira nagar extn selaiyur tambaram .On third of this month I made a complaint to the "customer care". On sixth somebody visited and said drier motor coil has gone and it needs replacement.Subsequently till date no one has attended.on enquiry we find that the particular spare is not available hence they are not in a position to repair . we have annual maintenance contract with the company Dear sir, i purchased ifb washing mechine an year ago at chennai.Now it got a problem with the mechine.i complainted to the banglore service centre as well as chennai service centre through the phone, but no person visited me to rectify it.Complaint no.5154016.I'm calling them daily from a week.No action was taken.I'm very sorry to say this.
IFB Washing Machine - Poor Customer Service — No repair of under warranty machine over 30 days
IFB has not been able to set my new washing machine right even after one month. No result even after repeated calls to the service center. Have spoken to the service centre ( Perfect Cooling Service Centre) and the Area Service Manager every alternate day. 1st Complaint was registered on 30th August 2010.The machine has not been repaired till Oct 1st, 2010. The model number is IFB AW 7233.
