I have not received the refund for the financial year[protected].

Tax refund for A Y[protected] is yet to be received. May I know how long it will take for the Dept. to refund the dues with interest? I am a senior citizen depending only on the income and this much amount will definitely help me in meeting my medical treatment and bills. Please help me in getting the amount without further delay.I understand all papers are ready but for some reason the payment is held up. Will the authorities kindly look into this matter?
