to get the refund it is not easy and on every stage there is hassel and bribe officer asking for the 10% of the refund amont. and this is so so bad why the finence ministry make a rule that if refund is htere it should be given with in a month if not the officer shold be held responsibele as there is no accountability

and this is happining all over india not only in some state today it dep is the most corrupt department as at all the level from the assessin officer he wants bribe i[censored] dont give u go to apple and at apple without giving money it can not be settel and small business people get harresed and some time they have to close there business.

on the name of information they ask the person to come to the i t dep and make him wait fr hours it is humiliation.

I agree with Mr.Rohit. In north India we do not have the practice o[censored]sing father's name or husband's name as the middle name. I also had the same experience when I went to submit my mother's passport application. She has benn writing her name as "Veena Sharma", but she was forced to write her name as "Veena Chandra Bhushan Sharma". Despite our attemts to explain the practice to the clerk at the counter and other officials they didn't accept the request with the correct name. How can anyone force thier practice on us? I hope that the authorities are listening.

My name is Md Illiyas Karigar a resident of Basavakalyan Dist Bidar Karnataka. I had applied for a PAN card thru UTITSL but till yet i had not received my PAN card at my mailing address. On the income tax website www.incometaxindia.gov.in I had checked the status of my pan application. on the website my pan number was showing with the delivery status as NA.

When we struggle to make ends meet and pay taxes and wait with no end to get our refunds, there are people like AR Rahman who are exempted from taxes by the Govt.(for the oscar award). What a gesture the Govt. has towards the common man. The situation is really pathetic.
