Respected Sir,

I on 02/04/11 at around 12:00 in the noon went to refill my motor cycle no. UP-75 D 4042 to your IOC Petrol Pump dealer at Sector-105 Noida. I asked the petrol boy to fill the petrol worth Rs. 200/=. They don’t even provided receipt of my purchase. After 4-5 hrs my bike started bubbling and some problem with its starting. Yesterday I took it to the mechanic and asked him to check it. He thoroughly checked the bike and proved the fact infront of my eyes that the tank was having more than 2/3 part of water along with the petrol.
I have lodged a complaint (No. 95446) on 04/04/11 against IOCL Petrol Pump dealer at Sector-105 Noida that it is supplying water with petrol, on IOCL web portal. I have clearly mentioned in my complaint that I have not been provided with any cash-memo receipt on demanding it. On 06/04/11 Mr. Surinder (Mob. No. +91-[protected]) from IOCL petrol pump called me and shown interest to meet me. On 07/04/11 I met him in the reception of my University. He also tried to bribe me to withdraw complaint. During this time Mr. Manoj Jayant, Dy. Manager (Retail & Sales) (Mob. No. +91-[protected], E-mail: [protected]@indianoil.co.in) talked to me on phone and explained me the mechanism of storing and delivering of fuel at RO in details without admitting the mistake committed by his petrol pump dealer. Thereafter, I got a consolation message from IOCL on its portal that your complaint has been rectified and customer is satisfied. I was totally unsatisfied by their reply. Nobody contacted me thereafter.
I again lodged a fresh complaint (No. 99017) on 13/04/11 as a reminder to my previous complaint showing my dissatisfaction. In this regard Mr. Vivek Garg, Sr. Manager (Retail & Sales) (Mob. No. +91-[protected], E-mail: [protected]@indianoil.co.in) contacted me and met me on the same day. He also went with me to the motor bike mechanic to identify and cross check the damages caused to my bike because of the adulterated petrol. He was totally satisfied with the issue and found that my complaint was genuine. He mailed me on 16/04/11 and asked a few queries like time at which I reached the filling station, distance between the filling station and my residence, time, day and date when my bike started giving problems, distance between my residence and garage of the motor bike mechanic and the total loss I have suffered along with the copy of the bill which the motor bike mechanic charged from me.
I replied back all queries in time. Since then I mailed him 3-4 times regarding the status of my complaint but he did not reverted. I called him for the same he told me that I have submitted my investigation reports and moreover, now the matter is with Mr. Asim Tiwari, Sr. Manager (Retail & Sales) (Mob. No. +91-[protected], E-mail: [protected]@indianoil.co.in) and you will definitely get some decision by 21/04/11.
Since then I have not received any mail or phone call from any IOCL official; 10 days have already been elapsed. I called Mr. Asim Tiwari regarding my matter he replied me that since there is no evidential document (cash memo receipt) with you we can’t help you out. Although, I have initially mentioned in my complaint no. 95446 that I have not been provided any cash memo receipt from the side of the petrol pump dealer on demanding it. The final decision on the matter is still pending and on every phone call I am asked to wait for one more week for final decision. What I personally feel is that IOCL is making every possible attempt to safeguard its petrol pump dealer. Otherwise I would have got the final decision long back. I am helpless now and seeking your help for proper investigation in the matter and fair judgment. Kindly acknowledge my letter and oblige.

I'm an unfortunate customer who happens to fill my bike from meloor petro park. The situation of the pump is very poor from the infrastructure wise. There's not even a canopy for the customers and the employees of the pump. Everyone knows that the company is the one who should provide these facilities. Even though the employees are friendly there seems to be too many employee absentees due to the illness caused from the extreme weather conditions in here. The floor in the pump is too bad that the vehicles struggle to get inside. There are all other facilities available here except the basic compulsory facilities provided by the company.
All we can here are the complaints from the pump owner about one Mr. Amaljith who's being too harsh to one of their female employee on the phone & she was crying. It's told that Mr Amaljith have some personal problems with the specific pump. He's caused her approximately around rs.12000 because of him not checking his email at the correct time.
From our meloor local people (customers) it's a request to take necessary actions to provide this pump with basic infrastructure facilities and against Mr Amaljith.

    I am 35 year old consumer of Indan gas against costomer no. 2119. last week I have transferred my conncetion from M/s RAM GAS AGENCY, Bahadurgarh to M/s COOKING CENTER, Rishra my home town as I am returning after taking retirement from my services from BAHADURGARH [HARYANA]. Sir, I have submitted my termination voucher no. [protected],PAN CARD for ID proof and papers of Mutation certificate for Residential proof.

    But the management of M/s Cooking centre are not accepting my application. At age of 65 I am continue going to the agancy for my application and every time coming empty hand.

    Kindly look into the matter and help me to get rid of the situation.

    PROBLEM IN GAS CONNECTION TRANSFER
    Dear sir,

    I am 10 year old consumer of Indan gas against costomer no. 17789. In aprill-2011 I have transferred my conncetion from M/s RACHANA GAS AGENCY, LUDHIANA to M/s HPSCSC GAS NALAGARH, because my company shifted in Baddi. Sir, I have submitted my termination voucher no. [protected], PAN-CARD-for-ID-proof and papers of Mutation certificate for Residential proof.
    But the management of M/s HPSCSC GAS are not RESPONSED my application. I am continue going to the agancy for my application and every time coming empty hand.

        Respected Sir,

        I, hereby, want to complaint against the Indane Gas service provider. This is against "Vassan Gas agency, Bhikhiwind Road,Chhabbal, Tarntaran. (Punjab)

        My Complaint is listed below:-

        Sir, From the last few months I always booked my cylinder through my cellphone last couple of months I am facing so much trouble. they always gives me the message that your cylinder has been booked but I never recieve the cylinders. Even sometime it gives the message that your cylinder has already been booked. I have raised this issue with my service provider which is "Vassan Gas Agency". but they always neglect that and when I go to their office and complaint them about the service they dont even open the door of the office. Its not even me there are several customer those who have a same complaint that Vassan Gas Agency staff dont respond. The Same Problem has face to Govt. High & Elementry Schools of Gandiwind Block.

        Sir, Would like you to please take an action against them so that they can provide the good services to their customer and atleast they should open the door of the office.

        Sir i want inform u that vassan gas agency service is very bad.they delivered the cylinder after 15 days from the date of booking. Pl take a necessary action so that they can provide the good service to the customers.

            We have been users of Indane cooking cylinder for years, and to be honest and upright , i have not received delivery on time for more than 5 years, my booking reference is nos 4153 and i had booked on 13/4/2011 with your agent in BD MARKET SHOP NO 65 SALTLAKECITY KOLKATA-91. The connection is in the name of SAUMITRA UPADHYAY ( my family member).

            First of all the calling response is extremely rude and unprofessional, and to be precise ,these guys think that they are the CHOSEN FEW and it is their birthright to take customers like us for granted .

            I am frustrated as i have still not received my cylinder as of today.

            Can your commitee tell me that how long one has to wait for something ESSENTIAL in India which has vast amount of natural resources?

            I totally agree with the above mentioned complain for BD Market Indane Gas office staffs.

            He has no civic sense to talk with the customer.

            I have applied for new Gas connection on 16th July 2011, and received letter after 15 days, but despite visiting so many times and continuous calls I still did not get the connection as they are telling Gas Cylender Regulator is not available.

            I am really tired with this response.

            I feel no reason to take this new connection, because if the service to get connection is that much rough than what would be the service after getting this connection.

            I would really need the Nodal Officer to act on this. Service is really Pathetic, and it should be rectified.

              IN AGRA THERE IS A GAS AGENCY NAMED M/S DUBEY GAS AGENCY IN DAYALBAGH. HE GIVE SUPPLY OF REFILL AFTER 22 TO 30 DAYS AFTER BOOKING DATE. THERE IS ONE CONDITION MORE THAT GAS WILL BE BOOK AFTER 21 DATE FROM THE DATE OF SUPPLY. IT MEANS ONE CONSUMER WILL GET A REFILL IN AFTER 50 DAYS OR MORE. EVERYONE CAN ASSUME THAT DEALER IS PRESSURISING TO TAKE REFILL IN BLACK MARKET. IT CLEARLY SHOWN THAT IOC OFFICERS AND GAS AGENCIES ARE INVOLVED IN BLACKMARKETING OF GAS REFILL. I AM ALSO CONSUMER OF THIS AGENCY. THESE ALL INFORMATIONS ARE DISPLAYED ON NOTICE BOARD OF AGENCY. SHAME SHAME FOR THE PERSONS INVOLVE IN BLACK MARKETING.               IOC LTD — Supply of expiry cylinder through Dipannita Gas service Coochbehar

              please note that M/s Dipanitya Gas Service has supplied a gas cylinder to my residence an expired gas cylinder with a plea that same has not been expired through as per expiry protocol i,e. "C-10" was written over inner cap.
              Dear Sir,

              I am the customer of Mayur Gas Service, Jaipur House, Agra but, they never pik the phone for gas booking or complaint.

                but he is not listening my problem and not giving any response. So I am very helpless.

                  My gas account no is N-14218 in the name of Lawan Jain with address: 12/185, New Campus, CCS HAU, Hisar-125004 (Haryana). My gas agency name is Navjyoti Gas Service, Near Malik Chowk, Hisar (Phone:[protected].

                  I booked my gas for home delivery on 25.4.2011 (booking number 4412), but till date (20.5.2011). Although, they have started delivering gas booked during the month of May 2011 yet my gas booked in the month of April 2011 have not been delivered to me till date.

                  I have visited the agency number of times but no satisfactory reply is received from the employees of the agency. They told that the gas slip has been given to the vendor but vendor did not deliver the gas. I and am tired of complaining to this agency but so far no action have been taken. It has come to my notice that the gas is delivered to the persons as they (agency owner) wish. If no solution is provided in regard to my complaint then i have to go to the consumer court.
                  i booked gas at VIR Gas Agencies in West Mambalam on[protected]. so far i didn't get the refill cyclinder till date take necessary action aganist the agenceny regarding this action .my consumer no 37227 in the name c.venugopal.
                  I had booked my gas for home delivery on 03 May 11 (booking number 204720), but till to date the gas is not delivered. request your early response on this regard.

                  I belong a village near by Neem Ka thana .There is lot of connection of Indane gas & only one gas agency near by Sikar Disrict . But owner insted of every month the gas cylinder is not delivery till three month always with extra delivery charge. Actually the problem is that the Agency owner sold the cylinder in black . I therefore request you to kindly legal action against Montu Gas Agency, for act of this kindness, I always remain greatful to you.

                      Earlier the residents of KMDA had the opportunity of gas booking on line. Recently the system has been

                      withdrawn & booking will be through 10(ten) digi mobile no or in person to the gas dealer.May I kindly be

                      informed why on line booking has been put off. Instead of providing service & lessening the burden of the

                      customer, if the Indane Gas wants to harass the customers, they are successful. In the present time

                      when everybody wants to get the work done through internet ,Indane gas is different from others not

                      interested to grab net facility. I don't know who has be benefited.

                        My LPG connection no. LT 4389, and I am subscribed to Indane gas distributor Anirudha Gas Sewa, Road no.- 1, Rajendra Nagar, Patna, Bihar. I have single cylinder & booked the cylinder on 07 October 2010. office man give the commitment that cylinder will reach within 2 day. but till today no any cylinder reach at my house. every day i call gas agency office and some one (lady) pick up Phone and say your cylinder is reaching at home but after 16 days of booking no any cylinder reaching at my home. It is very much surprising that my vendor sold 4-5 cylinder everyday in black marketing and asked me to pay Rs. 450/- for a cylinder. when i enquired about my booked cylinder he told that gas truck not come so delivery is too much late. I think that gas agency in collusion with vendor and local shopkeeper sale the cylinders in black marketing and also stolen 2-3 k.g. gas from cylinder who deliver at home. Always i suffered this type of problem. Please take necessary action against gas agency & solve my problem.

                        at my home have indane gas supply, but problem is that the AANAND gas agency(gurgaon) owner books the dilivery of gas i.e. 20th aug.11 and delever the gas on 28th aug.11. It is not only with me but with every second person have indane gas from above said agency. So pls do needfull if, you can do some thing.

Since last 20 days I have booked my gas some 8 times but these guys are not delivering. Booking anyways is a a tough job as the given telephone numbers either remain busy continuously or no one picks up. Last saturday I personally visited and enquired and I was promised that Monday I will get the delivery but to no avail.

                            we are facing lots of trouble from your dealer M/s. Chabua Gases. First of all we are never delivered Cylinders at our door, even if we procure cylinders through agency cartage we need pay him the delivery charges. We had stand there waiting for hours to get cylinders as the stock never lasts for more then an hour of trucks arriving. Then again most of the time cylinders are out of stock not b'coz of short supply but due to unauthorised selling to Hoteliers and other commercial consumers. Yesterday a case happen with us - we sent our men to procure cylinder, who misplaced the delivery slip - even on immediate complain regarding the loss of slip to the in-charge over there we failed to get the cyliinder as the in-charge simply replied that he couldn't do anything for that as they don't keep record of delivery slips issued. There are many more problems which if we gonna write will make a big letter. So we request your goodself to please look into the matter as this is not only our problem but a mass problem.

                            i have booked gas at mahe (pondicherry state), but now it takes more than 30 days to deliver the cylinder. how can we manage to run a house with one cylinder for more than one month. please arrange it fast to deliver the cylinder within 20 days. this is also tooo delay. today i called and they said that it will take 38 days. we are residing around 2 kms from the gas agency. how much i have to pay. and whether i shall be pay the delivery charges also. please send reply to my mail address. please arrange to deliver the gas within the limits.

                            Myself an Ex-Defence person now working in a private organisation at Rayagada since last 04 years.Since that day I am the Indane gas consumer and suffering from that day also.Although the ownership of the gas agency changed but the dealing and the delivery procedure remained same.I need a gas atleast at the interval of 35 days for which I have 02 cylinders.The local or the actual of corporation it may be is that whenever any individual is issued a gas cylinder,he only can book for the next cylinder only after 20 days.And the agency claims for 10 to 15 days for delivery of gas.They also claims to maintain the serials in system.I appreciate the procedure but practiclly it does not happen.In my last FOUR years I have to run to the agency atleast for 3/4 times and request them to delivery the gas else gas could not be delivered.Even if I did not go to them after 40 days the gas never comes and if I complain - I am encouraged that"Sir atleast you should come here again after booking so as to get your gas in time".

                              Time taken between 2 booking should be 21 days but they take 30days for Booking .And delivery time should be within 3 days after booking but it takes 15 days .
                              My last gas booking date was 15 march 2011 and delivery was on 26 April 2011.
                              Very rude n misbehaviour of staff.
                              I book gas cylinder every time by telephone and their line is always busy. After longtime they pickup the call and do not speake properly.

                              Problems with the agency:

                              1. While booking gas cylinder through phone they did not pickup the phone call and did not respond to the customer.

                              2. Cylinder is illegally sold to someone other than consumer.

                              3. They do not keep the stock (gas cylidner) always. But they sold the cylinder with higher price.

                              Indane - Swati Agencies — Not accepting booking

                              I dont have a gas connection and so approached Swati Gas agencies in Triplicane for the same. They asked for some documents in addition to ration card which I dont have. They made me to come to their office and not accepting any bookings stating false reasons. The person is on leave, no stationaries so booking cannot be done.

                              I am in need of gas connection urgently and have no idea what to do. Can some body suggest what can be done?
                              I had made a call and booked cylinder on January 18th, but still today (February 4th) i didnt received the cylinder, in between i made call 2 times, the people who are incharge are replying that within 2 days u ll get cylinder. when i ll get my cylinder. No response at all.

                                Sub : Non receipt of cylinder on time when we book for a refil.
                                Ref : My Consumer No. 34489, Distributor – Priya Gas Agencies, Thavalakuzhy, Ettumanoor – 686631.

                                This is to bring to your notice about the anomalies happening at the time of delivery of recharge cylinders.

                                I would like you to discover something that I had booked a recharge cylinder on 9th April, 2011 and my booking number is 138. I have got my last recharge cylinder on 9th March, 2011. I’d like you to let yourself become more and more aware of the fact that I am yet to receive a recharge cylinder after 48 days from my last recharge. Since I am having a single cylinder connection, I could book my cylinder only after passing 15 days from the date of last recharge delivery. Hence I booked for my recharge on 9th April, 2011. Naturally, when I contacted the distributor yesterday, they have confirmed to me that they have printed the receipt on 25th April, 2011. And, in an interesting way, you’ll discover that till date and time, I have not received my recharge cylinder. I wonder if you’ll be surprised to discover that this has happened to us several times.

                                And I wonder if you’ll be curious to know the fact that I am a 79 years old lady and presently staying with my son and his family. My son is working for a private organization and my daughter-in-law is also working for an organization. Naturally, in an interesting way, you’ll discover that after they leave home, I am the only person available at home.

                                Maybe it will surprise you to notice that, last time, when the cylinder boy came to deliver the gas at my home, I requested him to keep the cylinder at my home and take the empty cylinder. But he thrown the cylinder at my courtyard and asked me to take the cylinder at my home. Now, of course, I don’t know for sure what you’re experiencing. But perhaps you will be wondering how your delivery boy is expecting a 79 years old lady to carry the cylinder to my home! One of the first things you can become aware about this is, since I don’t want to bribe him all the time, he was acting tough with me every now and then!

                                I would like you to appreciate the fact that I am a very old, (79 years old), to carry a cylinder to my home. I had to wait patiently till evening till my son returned home to take that cylinder home from our courtyard. Till that time, the cylinder was kept in broad sunlight since I cannot move that cylinder.

                                With your permission…now, I wonder the following things :
                                Can you notice why your delivery boy is asking for bribe all the time, at the time of delivering my cylinder? Is there any charge need to be paid to deliver the cylinder at home?

                                And would you be willing to experience that your cylinder boy is throwing the cylinder at my courtyard instead of keeping the cylinder at my home; when his vehicle can reach up to my door step.

                                The really important thing is just to be fully aware of that why your distributor is not taking appropriate remedial action to deliver the cylinder on the same day the receipt was printed; even after receiving many consumer complaints about the same?

                                I also want to remind you of something that you probably already know, which is that there are no proper consumer grievances cell at your website or concerned authority readily available to attend consumer complaints so that such distributors are acting tough with consumers.

                                Hope You’ll be fascinated and feel a strong compulsion to take appropriate corrective action to rectify these anomalies at the distributors end.

                                Since I am having only one cylinder, I am facing a lot of difficulties. Hence I would like to apply for a second cylinder. Kindly guide me how to obtain a second cylinder for this connection.

                                Indian Oil — Non delivery of refill Cylinder

                                Dear Sir,
                                Ref: My Consumer No-26257
                                I had givern for a refill for a Cylinder on[protected] with an assurance of getting delivery within 5 days.I had got an assurance pn 05th of delivery immediately the same day.
                                Till now the cylinder is not delivered to my address.
                                As i have run out of stock of Gas i request you to help me in this regard

                                My conumer number is 13055 in M/s. Naresh Gas Agency, Parsudih, Jamshedpur. I had booked on 09.10.2009 for supply of refill cylinder. But till date the same has not been supplied to me even after a lapse of 7 days. As I have come to know that as per the company norms refill cylinders are supposed to be delivered within 7 days. On querry with the above dealer today i.e. on 16.10.2009, they replied that they could be able supply only after 15 days from the date of booking. Kindly help me to make the delivery of refill cylinder immediately.

                                I'm a resident of Kanpur (U.P) and having a gas connection from Mamta Gas Service, each and every time when I'm booking for gas he ask to wait for at least fifteen day's after waiting the given time he never send the L.P.G cylinder at time, what is the after booking the gas for delivery. and one more thing that he say's that the next booking will be done only after 21 day's of receiving the cylinder, as per this I only get the cylinder at least after 40 to 45 day's, kindly tell me the rule for booking and receiving the cylinder, and take proper action against the distributor, sir my consumer no is 27946 and the distributor address is Mamta Gas Service 25 K.D.A Market Janta Nagar, Barra-3 Kanpur, pin- 208022 and code 154783

                                  Hi,

                                  My Consumer Number is 58608, and I have been trying to reach the Gas Booking number for Indane Gas at Tambaram - Camp Road, but in vain. There are 2 numbers listed[protected] and[protected], which is always busy and even by chance if you find the phone ringing, no one answers. How does one get to them to book gas, leave alone the fact that there is always delay in getting it on time.

                                  If this issue cannot be fixed, and people working their cannot spend more time attending to customers calls, they should atleast have the online booking facility. This is really pathetic service offered by Indane Gas in this area.

                                  Hope some one reads this and acts.

                                      Sir,
                                      When my maid went to apply for a new connection she was asked to purchase a new Gas stove despite she having a new one with her. I checked on your site it is not compulsory to buy Gas stoves from the Gas agency then why Gas agencies are forcing people to buy Gas stoves from them. Infact those who have bought these Gas stoves complaint that they are of inferior quality and require repair frequently.
                                      Please take action regarding this practice, it has become an mafia to exploit the poor people.

                                        my consumer no 36736. i deal with Naga gas agency, chengalpattu. sir i made a call to them on 24th march for booking.but they told we will book on 31march. now today the date is 26th april.still i have not get my cylinder.after one month also they will not supply. i think they are supplying my cylinder for more money. if we call again they will respond. they are telling what u will do? u can do.we can do like this only.
