My name is shinod I am from Ernakulam Kochi, I am one of the consumer of INDANE LPG, consumer no is 29448 registered with VIMAL GAS, PALLURUTHY KOCHI. The problem is always they delivered my refill gas cylinder very late more than 30 days, when i make a call to their office the person who attend the phone reply me it will b delivered to u this weekend or next week,because Indane give us only some load to deliver,Then I reported the problem to INDANE gas officer i will get my refill pack very next days, every month it happening. The agencey doing the same thing to other customers. what is the solution for this bad service

Amrit gas agency Located in civil lines near kailash chowk ludhiana del.1 cylinder in every two months. Their service is very poor. They give a cylinder after 20 to 25 days of booking.staff of the agency is not friendly

    my LPG(Kitchen) gas connection no is m -2271 with abhinav gas service(Indian oil petroleum dealer),Karnal(haryana)
    I am facing lot of difficulty in getting booked gas cylinder for refilling.
    The telephone is always busy of the said dealer.when this time i got success they said 20 days gap for filling required. after 20 days phone remained busy for two days,i went there to drop slip in letter box . box stand removed. at counter , they took my slip for booking. when after 15 days i did not receive delivery at home .i contacted on phone they said there is no booking we are booking todayonly for gas delivery wait for 10-12 days more. if there is any complaint come with copy. i said i m in service it is not possible to visit office. after 2/3 days of persuasion on phone i was given mobile no of the owner who til date not bothered to pick phone.
    please intervene to get me supply of filled cylinder at home as i m out of gas
    Plz advise dealer. to amend /improve the style of booking

      I'm Anita Sinha from hazaribagh. I'm taking gas cylinder from TUSHAR AGENCY. I live in SURESH COLONY, GIRIJA NAGAR, BEHIND HOLY CROSS. Rule of agency says that they will deliver gas cylinder on time -ie- after 7 days of the number we put in agency. But the distributers sell the cylinder in black and compell us also to take in black, since they deliver our own gas cylinder after 2 months.
      kindly help me out
      i vijender is the consumer of indane gas my gas agency is tanu sree gas services my complain is that this gas service agency is not delivering gas cylinder on time my gas booking was done on[protected] till date my cylinder has not been delivered my consumer no. is 19384

        This is for the kind information to The Concerned Person we have booked our gas cylinder on 15.03.2011 and now today (17.04.2011) we are yet to get delivery inspite of our several visit tio their office they are unable to give justified reason. One of the biggest reason citing by them is that they have in adequate labour to make smooth supply, however it not understandable what the hell smooth supply mean???? In the last month also they didnt supplied to our resi infact they just raised their hand and we had to brought the cylinder at our on cost. Their delivery man are still black selling cylinder inspite of our several complaints. Other service provider are however giving delivery after 15-17 days.

        Herewith just seek kind attention of higher authorities to get rid of such dealer.

        We have Indane Gas connection (customer id - 81218 - in the name of my wife Dipanwita) in Bangalore jurisdiction. We have recenlty shifted our residence from 29th Main, BTM Layout, 2nd Stage TO Yelanahalli, BTM 6th Stage. Our Gas distributors (J N Enterprises, BTM Layout, 1st stage) do not deliver the Gas cylinder in this area. They want us to collect it from Begur temple (3 kms from my current residence at Yelanahalli). As per them, their supply area ends at Begur (1.5 km from my current residence) and all those residing outside of this area should make their individual arrangements to collect the gas cylinder from Begur temple.

        There are many Indane gas customers living at my current residence in Yelanahalli (atleast 12 of my 50 plus apartments). I have also complained to the customer care on phone and also gave a written request to extend the delivery of gas cylinder to Yelanahalli. The response was very poor. The customer care executive on phone wanted me to shift to a different gas company (HP, Bharath, etc) and was not sensitive to our inconvenience. Also, the written request that I submitted to the Chief Manager (Indian Oil Corporation, Unity Bhavan, Kamaraj road, Bangalore), there is no response from their end. This is causing lot of inconvenience to us whenever we have to get the gas cylinder from Begur temple.

        Can this be discussed with the Manager at IOC and get this sorted out ? Any help in this regard will be highly appreciable.

        JN entriprises, BTM, bangalore(Indian Gas Agency) — 2nd Cyclinder is not delivered

        I have booked the gas in the January 2008, and got the First Cyclinder in the Month of November 2008, and booked the second cyclinder in Feburary 2009 and still not received the second Cyclinder. I need to the second cyclinder very badly because when the cyclinder gets over, I need to wait for one week, or else I need to book the cyclinder in advance and there is a waste of gas as the old one is taken away. Is there any complaints number or the number where action can be taken against this?

          iam having cylinder connection in TRILOKS GAS SERVICE, ADAYAR, CHENNAI.
          I Booked my cylinder on 04.04.2008 they said with in ten days cylinder will come. we waited for ten days but not received . then once again i called(17.04.2008) them and asked why the cylinder delay. they said you didn't book cylinder on that particular day. now only you are booking the cylinder so it will come after ten days only they said like this. what can we do. iam very much suffered without cylinder. please help us to get cylinder in correct date.they are cheating me . i think that they are selling out side.
          but my neighbour using BHARAT GAS . it is not at all problem. they getting gas after booking of third day. INDIAN OIL CORPORATION Dealer is worst.

            My consumer no.G16798 with the Gorang Gas Agency, Model Town Hisar. I have booked the Gas on dated 05.04.2011 but I have not received the Gas cylinder after even ten days i.e. till date. This type of service held before many times. All the consumers of the above gas agency are facing lot of problems due to the bad service of delivery. If consumer ask about the delivery time they don't give any sufficient response. we have tried to make the call so many times in their office but they did not attend the call.
            Please take necessary action on this matter.

            Each such case should be investigated by the company and the distributor should be fined heavily and the consumar should be compensated monetarily.
            If the gas company doesnot take any action then it's managing director should be fined heaviliy
            i have booked for delivery of gas cylinder on thurday (29.05.2008) with the booking no. 273492. Till date (04.06.2008) the cylinder has not been delivered at my place.
            I would not have complained even this time. But I am complaining for the reason that the agency - Devi Annapurna Gas Agency, A-Block Market, VAsant Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi was waiting for the price to increase so that they can be benefitted by that. Now they can sell the old stock also at the new increased rate.
            We contacted them yesterday despite that the gas cylinder was not delivered to us.
            My connection for Indane Gas is with Nangloi Gas Service under NG-28977Z. It is so unfortunate in today's times when everybody claims to be customer supportive that upon calling repeatedly for last 3 days, we are being given fake statements of sending the cylinder next day even when the booking is of around 10 days back. Even the number that are given on the slip of Nangloi Gas Service are not either working or no one picks up the phone on Indane Customer Service. What to say, even the site that is given for 24 hours booking is also not working. We, as our mistake is to be customer and we pay for everything, are only being dodged every time we try to ask for our rights even.
            In last month also I complained about the non-delivery of gas cylinder and then only after a gap of almost 11-days refilled gas cylinder was delivered to me. This time I have booked for refill gas cylinder on 08/03/09 and was told that the refill will be made available within 4 to 5 days. Yesterday i.e. Sunday, after a gap of almost 8-days, I reminded them thrice over my mobile and it was confirmed to me that the refill gas cylinder will be delivered to me by today evening, but it was not delivered to me. Today is the 9th day and I strongly register my point that this agency since I have got the connection, I never saw them delivering the refill gas cylinder in time and I hope action would be taken against the agency. It is the matter of great concern and the concerned department is ligible to take action under the codal law of IOC. My consumer No. 18568, Sheetla Gas Agency, Gurgaon.
            i booked cylinder on 6.3.08 to M/s Gauri Enterprises (INDANE GAS), Palam Gaon, New Delhi. Despite of every efforts, till date they have not delivered gas cylinder. we are unable to find out to whom we should complaint.
            We had two time book the refilling of gas cylender for the period 15/3/09 to 5/04/09 but yet not received the delivery

            Non-delivery of Gas Cylinder
            In last month also I complained about the non-delivery of gas cylinder and then only after a gap of almost 11-days refilled gas cylinder was delivered to me.             sarvatra gas service/ cylinder refill — late gas refill delivery

            My name is Mr. GANGADHAR RAMCHANDANI and i have indane gas conection no-A24876 from SARVATRA GAS SERVICE.. I made a booking for refil cylinder on 13 august 2010.at sarvatra office and reminded them twice after 1 st september2010. till today i have not recieved refil gas cylinder. Last time also i booked on on 7/6/10 and gas was delevered on 7/7/10 and after delevering late they say new booking will be after 21 days. Booking done after 21 days but delivery is not even after 25 days
            I m very much annoyed with the company. i made a call at [protected] and asked them about my complan but they cut my call and did no action.
            Please let me know what to do and where should i make complan.

              The Gas agency "Hari Singh Gas Service" is not reachable on phone for making gas bookings...they are not serving their client in professional manner, the operator who books the gas speaks to the customer in very unprofessonal manner.

                I have Indane Gas connection at Alaka, Bhubaneswar Depo.

                I had booked for a Indane gas cylinder for re-fuelling at the Indane Gas Depo Alaka, Bhubaneswar on dt.19.03.2011 vide booking no-1725.

                I am yet to receive the said refuelling.

                It is a regular practice of the Alaka Depo of Indane Gas to supply gas minimum one month delay and they never receive booking over phone.

                All the Indane Gas customers at Alaka, Bhubaneswar are suffering the same problem regularly.

                  There is a facility provided by every gas agencies to get the requrement of gas supply booked over phone, but here in kanina there is indane gas agency where the phone line always goes busy because the probabiy keep the reciever of their phone dislocated from its proper place.Kindly take the action in that case.My number is [protected]

                    I have no doubt that the petrol station M/s Kapoor Auto Service Station ( of INDIAN OIL ) located at the Patparganj Society Area is cheating its clients. Earlier too this petrol pump was shut down due such similar reasons.

                    I am sure that the diesel / petrol being given is lesser in quantity than the payment taken.

                    I get diesel filled from various petrol stations and get it filled when the car indicator reaches a particular mark. Also I get similar amount diesel filled so I am very sure about how much should be filled.

                    The name of the manager is Mr.Rajender who is the kingpin. Let the drive against corruption initiate. The channel is effective and you can also followup with the complaint number generated.

                    Got the petrol filled from sec-54 petrol pump opp. kanchanjunega apt.

                    the moment the guy started filling the petrol, another guy came asking for my tyre air, wind screen cleaning, money/card.

                    by the time i cud see back the meter, it was reset by the petrol filling guy, and my fuel meter showed a very little rise.

                    i have got petrol filled thrice from here, and this time i noticed the cheat.

                    i want to take this issue to higher levels.

                      My indane gas distributor is golf green gas service. Gas booking has to be done through [protected] where the IVR system tells us how to book refill. After going through the necessary menus and options, the system says "we are unable to process your request, please contact your distributor." This happened twice and then I was forced to contact the distributor who refused to book refill over phone. I had to go all the way to distributor's office and book refill manually. The company should properly program the IVR system and save us from this sheer harassment.

                      There is a system adopted by the Gas Agencies, to make a false booking in the name of their customers. Once we book the cylinder, they will deliver and subsequently, they will book in your name again within 21 days and will black market the same.

                      In my case it is Citizen Gas Enterprises- Alaknanda, new Delhi-110019.

                      I have informed this mal-practice to their owner in verbal as well in written format, but sorry to note that nothing has happened so far.

                      the new IVR system is not working.My indane distributor is KK indane whose office shifted from sarjapur road to outer ring road.Now am unable to make a booking as the IVR system says unable to proces your request.i feel helpless as the distributor is giving excuse that my account got transfered to new dealer on sarjapur road but i tried to book through that dealer and i get same message in IVR

                      I booked the gas on 20th and when I went to complaint to the distributor for not receiving my gas. they said that It was already delivered on 27th of July which is false. Now see how can this happen I ddnt receive any cylinder and how come it is showing in my details as received.. and also when I complained to the toll free no [protected] . he said he wont be taking any complaint .. This is SICK,
                      same is my problem..
                      I have not booked any gas on 13.09.2012.Delivery man came with a gas cylinder & a cash memo 10 days back .I refused to take delivery of the gas as I had not booked any gas on 13.09.2012 as revealed from the delivery man's cash memo.Subsequently I went to book gas on 07.10.2012 the IVRS spoke out "Your booking No.401634dt.13.09.2012 & Cash memo No. 11677 & delivery will be completed by 14.09.2012. How this can happen ? I could not understand.

                        Yes.. this type of attitude is prevalent in many places. I am from Kochi and web booking is accepted at this area.. But the agency booking agent shows a very arrogant attitude and asks to book it again.. .. If you do it as per their advise, you will get your refill after 30 more days...

                        I have heard this from many people around that the agency was showing such a disgusting attitude to the consumers...

                        The consumers should unite and take strong action against these agencies who are thinking that its some sort of favour that they are doing... All consumers should be aware that its their right to get the refills at the right time advised by the Indian Oil company (in case of Indane). As per Indian Oil, everyone has the right to get their refill after a maximum of 30 days of booking it (this may be of less time at some other places)

                        Indane has an online booking system, but it is ridiculously insufficient! We are absolutely dissatisfied with the services.It has been 12 days, at least 50 call attempts, sms, and numerous call center agents who just do not seem to know how to refill a simple order. I am quite sure even this complaint is going to go unnoticed.God help your company if this is how you intend to treat your customers.AF5114 is my consumer number, if anybody is even bothering to check!

                          Hi,
                          I am in urgent need of gas cylinder and so I have booked today my cylinder request to Tanushree Gas Agency, Pratap Nagar, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, New Delhi-91. The agency replied me that it is unable to deliver as there is shortage of gas and there are already many pending requests of cylinder delivery and it will take 2-3 days.
                          However, I always find agency's delivery man selling cyliders in black charging extra money of Rs 100-150 and that too at a distance of hardly 50-100 meters from agency office. When I informed this to agency they asked me that I should catch those delivery men.
                          I want to know if it is not the responsibility of agency to check their delivery men functioning and to find out if they are not selling cylinders in black and also the cyliders are delivered with its full volume of gas as it is found so may times that cyliders are delivered with lesser volume of gas.
                          I also want to know if it is not responsibility of Indane to find out whether their distribution agencies are functioning properly or not . Has there been any auditing of these agencies by Indane.

                          1. It was found since last 10th Month The Gas destributer M/S BIRSAMUNDA GAS AGENCY at BARGARH (Orissa) is not capable to deliver cylinder's in time. They are taken up to aprox. 20 days from the date of Booking.
                          Finaly we have recieved the cylinder after 41 to 45 days of previous issue of cylinder.

                          2. Many times it was found that they are not recieved/Attend the phone call.
                          3. Is there no any Home Delivery facility for Our residential area Cement Nagar Bardol. The distance Between Dealer's Office to Cement Nagar is approx 4 KM only.

                            Leak reported with smell in kitchen . No action inspite of 3 reminders spread over 7 days. When smell became very intense , reported matter afresh to Urvashi Agency on April 12. 2011. Over 3 hours later, there is no response.

                            Shameful service for a complaint with serious consequences.

                            Sending a separate complaint to Chairman IOC as well.

This time I weighed the cylinder and I found that there is loss of 4 KG gas. Now the total weight is 27 kg which should be 31 kg. Please do the needful because many consumer facing this problem.

                              I asked the attendant to fill Rs 1000 petrol. I came out of the car and looked at the meter reading. He distracted me and finally showed a zero on the pump meter.
                              Immediatly, he distracted me by pushing the bill and some Indian Oil card which had no meaning.

                              I realized that he had reset the meter reading to Rs 1000, though it was zero litres in the quantity. I was CHEATED.

                              I don't know as how to fight back as what is the proof.................I already had some petrol in the car prior to filling.
                              The CAR fuel reading also showed that the petrol was filled only for Rs 500 and NOT Rs 1000.

                              COMMENT: I realized at the pump itself and even spoke to the attendant that the quantity is less.
                              However, I did not shout as I thought that I could be wrong.

                              BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT EVEN IF YOU FIND SLIGHT ISSUE, PLEASE SHOUT AT THEM AND CREATE A SCENE. THIS WOULD ONLY SOLVE THE ISSUE IF EVERYONE STARTS FIGHTING AND DO NOT GIVE THEM BENEFIT OF DOUBT.


                              I am writing at this Forum. I know my post would be helpful for the fellow members who would get cheated in future and would search for related information.

                              However, is the Consumer Forum or any other Agency looking at these POSTS?????????
                              OR, are we just venting out without any GAIN?

                              Same thing also happened to me in IOCL petrol pump opp E sqaure, Shivaji Nagar..
                              I have lodged a complaint in IOCL website with the vigilance department. They contacted me and are making random raids for verification of the same. They are very serious about this cheating issue. They will take the necessary action.

                                I am trying to take your appointment through phone , visits to Indian Oil office for past one week . have failed miserably . I am writing to seek a solution from you as all the limits have been crossed .


                                My Plight : I want to take a gas ( LPG ) connection for myself and even after having all the valid proofs as mentioned on your website , I am not provided with one because of prejudice best know to IOC


                                My Ordeal


                                It was outright frustrating experience dealing with these two people mentioned below ( basic courtesy demands I write gentlemen but both are far away from these words, I am afraid )

                                Actually I am in shock and at loss of words that such work shying and indolent people ( your Employee, Mr. Amarjit Singh , board outside his room says ( Customer Service Cell ) and Brig Mohli , Agency owner of Farid Gas agency , Manimajra ) people exist in today’s society .

                                One ,employee of One of the Gems of Indian Industry and the other , I am ashamed to know that he served Indian Army at one point of time and you gave this man ur company’s agency !!!!!!!

                                Such Bad words like , ‘ Tum Bhaiyon ( people from UP / bihar) ko hum connection nahin denge “ , “tum apne gharon mein logon ko ek ek kamra kiraye pe deke connection mangne aa jate ho” “ hamein pata hai apka , apke baap ke naam 4 connection chal rahe hain “ were used against me and my family on MY face . please get hallucination check of such people as they are not fit to represent ur company


                                I felt so harassed and never knew till that day that I had to be of a particular community to take a LPG connection of Indian Oil . that I will take it separately by filling a complaint against the agency owner who said this and your employee who sent me there .


                                I stay in Chandigarh and wanted a gas ( lpg ) connection for myself . On visting the IOC office 0n 04.04 2011 and requesting a meeting with Mr Pankaj Mathur , I was seen as I have asked to meet Sonia Gandhi ( yes that the expression of something impossible for a common man ) nevertheless she told me to to to a room called Customer Servcie / grievance cell. On going there I met Mr Amarjit Singh and informed him that I want to take a connection and he gave me a chit mentioning “ Brig Mohli , For issue of n/c “.

                                My 5 visits from 4/4/11 till 9/4/11 did not yield any result as the above mentioned man was never available .

                                Finally on 9/4/11 I got a chance to meet him and out rightly he said he will not issue a connection , I told him I am meeting him with ref of a message from Mr. Amarjit Singh and he started off “ , “tum apne gharon mein logon ko ek ek kamra kiraye pe deke connection mangne aa jate ho”


                                I said that’s not the case , I stay in a 3 bed room , first fllor of a 500 sq yard house . I have all the valid proofs , passport , telephone bills etc . and he should issue me a LPG connection .
                                To which he shouted “ hamein pata hai apka , apke baap ke naam 4 connection chal rahe hain “

                                To which I also argued in high tone voice that he should tell me the number of connections running on my father’s name . at this instance he and his sons started pushing me hitting me . the people present in the agency somehow saved me .

                                Sir , it seems ur company is being represented by SUCH BADMASH people and BADMASH employees who in connivance with such people for reasons best know to you .

                                I assume this feedback will be dovetailed to help you improve ur processes in long run and you will take appropriate action against the erring people as mentioned above .

                                Awaiting your reply on action taken by u after complete probing done by you


                                I am submitting that in case you find it not worthwhile to reply to my mail , I will be forced to forward it to consumer welfare groups , print media so that they help me to world also gets to know what harassment a common man goes through while just to take a new LPG connection of IOC .

                                  my complaint against MAA BAMLESHWARI GAS AGENCY using his monopoly very badly in the city. where nowadays all the distributors giving services to the customer at phone and deliver the cylinder to home.he wanted a queue in his door step in the front of main road which is very harmfull. I saw a long queue in front of his door of agency every day he is a single distributor in the town so people are helpless. many more things i heared from the people but not discussable in network.but i really think there is a hierarchy support of indian oil to him so he can do such thing. wish son this msg reach to doable person & might they think to resolve this issue.
