I Harjinder Singh S/o Balbir Singh Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Boparai, teh Patti & Distt. Tarntaran. have submitted complaint against mr. Dilbagh singh who is working as postman in Post office situated at village Boparai in tarntaran distt. Punjab. Mr. Dilbagh Singh has taken bribe from poor people to open their accounts in post office in narega scheme run by Central Govt. whenever any of the poor person who is not able to even earn money for daily food, wants to open an account in post office, everytime he demanded Rs. 50/- from each of them. So the people complaints about this matter to panchayat and being Sarpanch of village i contacted the postman Mr. dilbagh Singh but he said this is necessary for everyone, which is not written anywhere to charge Rs. 50 from any person to open account. Kindly look into the matter because it is totally unlawful and a blunder mistake against the law. so my humble request is to take some strict action against Mr. Dilbagh Singh.
I will be waiting for the any action to be taken against that person which will surely give relief to the poor society of people.

Respected Sir,

I have opened an Recurring Deposit A/c in Sirumugai Post office (pincode : 641302) in coimbatore district for the monthly amount of Rs.2000/- While opening I was given my communication address and its differ from my permanent address which is available in Ration card/passport.

As of March, 2010, my RD got matured and the post office persons said, I need to open a new SB A/c in Post office to my matured amount. For that they are asking me to get a signature from my permanent address based (kuppanur (PO)) post master. But the post master is asking Rs.5000 to provide the signature.

I am totally confused and not sure how to complaint this issue. Could you please help me on this.

AFTER TRACK RECORD SEARCHING I AM GETTING INFORMATION THAT 11 03 2010 AT KOLKATA AIRPORT BAG WAS OPENED 16 03 2010 AT 08 47 A M GURGAON SPC RECEIVED THAT DOCUMENTS & INSTEAD OF SENDING DOCUMENT TO THE BATA THEY HAVE SEND IT TO AHMEDABAD ON 16 03 2010 AT 20 43 HRS & AFTER THAT NOW IT ISLYING AT BURDWAN ------TODAY IS 18 03 2010 AT 21 00 HRS. & TRACK REPORT IS SHOWING ---not delivered. THAT WAS VERY IMPOTANT DOCUMENT. I WANT TO KNOW FROM RESPECTIVE AUTHORITY WHAT WILL BE THE FATE OF MY LETTER ?

I have send a speed post on 25.02.2010 from Joshimath,Chamoli uttrakhand to NSDL ,Pune.Till date the article is not delivered. On the sepped post tracker it showing that it lying at Bareilly.No further processing is done at bareilly for atleast 20days.

I had sent a registered parcel to my husband in pune, which was a b'day gift to him. The parcel contained a Rs 1100 worth shirt and Rs 300 worth sweets. After collecting the parcel from the postman, he noticed that somebody has made a small hole in the box. After opening the pracel he realized some sweet packets were missing in it. This was not expected to happen with a registered parcel. I am aware that such things do happen with private couriers. And bocs of that i always preffered registered post.

But now i have learnt my lesson. One cant even rely on govt. services. Im neither expecting to get the things i have lost nor i need any money in return. What matters more than the money is those were my gift which i had sent with lots of love and affection.

Im feeling so helpless.....

I have sent my UPSC Form for Engineering Services,2010 through Speed Post from Kolkata to UPSC, New Delhi on[protected] with Article Number EW[protected]IN. But India Post could not deliver by 09-Mar-10 which is the last date for receipt of Application for UPSC. As a bonafide student, I am deprived of appearing of the Engineering Examination due to the unprofessional attitude and negligence of India post.
I also failed to know the status of the article delivery through the mail IDs provided by India Post website ([protected]@indiapost.gov.in, [protected]@indiapost.gov.in) as these mail IDs are disabled.
And when I tried to know the status on Phone, the deployed personnel are extremely insensitive to my plight.
And when I queried in local sub Post Office, they have no information on it.

I Applied for the post of Inspector In FOOD AND CIVIL SUPPLIES, PUNJAB, the last date of my application delivery was 26th Feb. 2010 till 5 PM and as i posted my application via Speed Post ( EP[protected]on 25th Feb 2010 at 10.31 AM to avoid the delay i preferred speed post instead of registered post. But the problem occurred when i received my envelop back on 4th march 2010 with the return stump with date of 2nd march 2010 by the Food and civil Supplies, Punjab and postal seal of 4th March 2010.

I means the Speed post reached with delay of 5 day. And i lost my Chance to appear for this post.

I want the compensation Against my lost chance for the Inspector post in Food and Civil Supplies, Punjab.

Please me to get my suitable compensation

I made a purchase from www.dandoy-sports.com on 24 January, 2010. The product was shipped on 08/02/2010 from Belgium. Please see the purchase receipt <purchase.jpg>. When i tracked it online, i found that it reached Mumbai on 13/02/2010 and is send to the domestic location on same day (which is Pune). Please see <post.jpg>. I tried calling to many phone numbers including my post office, Head office pune. Every one is redirecting me to some other number which ends up in the number which i already called. I were told since it is local speed post hence will be delivered by next day but even after 6 days there is no information where it has gone. I am really feeling sorry using India Post Instead I should used Any other courier services. these government services are not seems to be serious and even there online status checking is not been updated regularly.
SMS tracking services another useless thing which is not working at all and they are busy in advertising every day for the same in news papers.

From DK Post Office, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi to Mauritius and It was really urgent for me and thats why I used Speed Post. It was my Job Application and I dont know when will it be delivered!!!
Post Office People are suggesting me to call or Visit the Receiving Postal Office or People; is this what I am suppossed to do after booking Post.
Please can some one help me in this regards...

I applied for assistant professor at NIT Kurukshetra, and sent my application form via speed post with clear handwritten address of NIT-Kurukshetra [which was given in the advertisement]. Speed post article number is EE[protected]IN. But the speed post delivery system drop my envelop on Kurukshetra University on 20 February 2010. So I will not call for interview now, and in the advertisement it was clearly written that "NIT-K will not entertain any package after the last date over". Right now what I have to do against India post. who is responsible for it?

This is to escalate about the nondelivery of article that I sent via RL-A RR[protected]IN through the JHILMIL postoffice on 10th Oct'09. More than 4 months crossed but items have not yet been delivered. No proper response from the JHILMIL post office. Neither the article has been delivered to the recipient nor it has been returned back to me i.e. sender till date. The post office authorities have no clue of the article.

My passport which was issued from Chandigarh expired last year. Since I have been living in Chennai for last 1 year n 4 months approx., i have to get my passport renewed from here only.

My HEADACHE all these months has been that..... as per the government of India website i.e.
http://passport.nic.in/ ... i fulfil the criteria of proof of address ( only 1 proof of address required ) but when i approach the local passport office they reject it. They want 2-3 proofs more. This is under the regular application scheme.

I tried under the TATKAL scheme...under which 1 option is says that... a verification letter ( for proof of address) from IAS or similar level officer n another affidavit from myself is required. Again as per the govt. website.. I fulfil the criteria. But again the same problem...they want extra from what is actually required.

Since more than half or i wud say most of the staff in the local passport office is unable to converse either in hindi or english... Im having a really tough time getting this problem solved.

Also, I would really want to know that if the information/ rules/ criteria provided on the government website old / stale / not applicable anymore.....then why has the website not been UPDATED.

1).that i am a practicing advocate in punjab and haryana high court. 8.10.2009 residing at GH 94,Flat no q-24, sector 20, panchkula.

2).that i had bought a FZ 16 yamaha from shaili yamaha authorised dealer of yamaha in panchkula.

3).that i had applied for registration certificate for the above said bike at transport authorities at sector 2 panchkula.

4).that on 4.11.2009 i got all my documentation done and applied for my registration certificate after paying the required fee.

5). that now its 16 feburary and still i havent received my original R.C.

6). that after enquiring about my R.C i was informed by the concerned office that my R.C was sent to dispatching branch at serial no 108 in the dispatch list of 28.12.2009.

7). that on enquiry i came to know my R.C was dispatched on 7.01.2010 from the dispatch branch at serial no 123 of the list vide speed post no: EH[protected]IN.

8). that after getting the speed post no i enquired about the status of the R.C at main post office at sector 8, panchkula and i was informed the speed post bearing this no has been send to post office of sector 20 on 9.01.2010.

9). that after getting the information regarding dispatch of R.C i enquired about the same from post office of sector 20 panchkula and i was shocked to hear that they dont deliver speed post at particular address because there are too many houses in the said sector.

10). that despite this i have asked them to trace the speed post bearing no:EH[protected]IN but same has not been done despite many request made to the concerned post master and post man.

11). that in the when ever i ask them about the status of lost speed post the post master says the concerned post man is not in the post office kindly come after some time.

Tarantarn. i want to inform about some illegal work done by a person named Mr. Dilbagh Singh, Who is working as Branch Postman Boparai in the concerned post office. As per Central Govt. decisions it was mandate to open accounts in post office of Job card Holders in Narega Scheme. The accused person has demanded Rs. 50 from each of the persons to open their account in post office. As the Narega Scheme is for the poor people of the society, this is worst thing to ask for the bribe from the persons who have already no source of income. I contacted to post office officials regarding this. I told everything regarding this but it was all in vain. No action has been taken against the person. So I request you to look into the matter and kindly take some action against the Mr. Dilbagh Singh so that no other person will even think to do so like this.
I will be waiting for the response. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,

I had posted a very important examination hall-ticket which is held on 7th'feld...i had sent hall-ticket through speed post from Hyderabad to Mumbai on Feb 03....still it didn't reached to destination...lost MBA entrance exam(MAT) of my friend and I lost valuable time and examination fee Rs.1070.I've tried tracking from the internet but it is not traceable.I've called Hyderabad PO for several times to no.[protected]..no one receives the call then i tried to Mumbai PO no.[protected]...they were little better answered the call... and said "we don't know"... i have tried in many ways.. nothing worked...Unfortunately it has not reached the destined location till now... I urgently needed Postal service to write my MBA entrance exam... i asked the person,who takes the letters for the speed post at GPO HYD...he said "it will reach Mumbai in 1 or 2 days because its Metro city"...

Who is responsible for exam...and the examination fee..my friend had not allowed because of INDIA POSTAL DEPT.

I am living on this addess from last 12 months still i cant get single letter due to careless behaviour of the post office. I have not got even my Teliphone bill also.When i shifted to my new house,I changed my add. to bank Telephone Office etc.My father has complained to post dept. Panchavati in written but they didnt take it seriously,They answered only one post man is there but in year not a single letter he could deliver. i have taken a loan from sbi alipur branch.as counter garrauntee i have provided nine nos of nsc's & kvp's. sbi alipur send all the nsc's & kvp for verification to post master bhadreswar pin - 712124 from where it was puchased by me in the name of my wife mrs. kalpana biswas. after verification it was send to sbi alipur & suprisingly sbi alipur received only two nos of nsc's & remaining six nos of nsc's bearing nos.(1)40EE[protected]EE[protected] EE[protected]EE[protected]EE[protected]EE743851 & 01nos. of kvp bearing nos.5/1/2KVP/98CC5056606 was lost in transit though it was under registered post.I HAVE COMPLETED DOCUMENTATION PART INCONSULTATION WITH POST MASTER &GOT IT SIGNED BY BANK MANAGER& MY WIFE & SUBMITTED TO HEAD POST OFFICE SERAMPORE ON28/06/08 TILL THE DUPLICATE CERTIFICATENOT ISSUED .

Hi,
Last week I sent 2 grams of kesar in an envolope after properly packing in a news paper along with the taping and the overall weight of the parcel was just 20 grms and on delivery they have just received only the empty envolope(4 grms) without any items in-side. I came to know that the envolpe was opened from the back side and stuppled with the pins. I realized now why people are not going to the post offices and rather depending on private courier services. What I feel is indian postal does not have a credible service.
and I request consumer forum to look into the matter and do the needful on this issue, such type of incidents should not happen with any one else in near future.

Please be aware and beware.
