[Resolved]  India Today Book Club — Advance made but book not received!

I sent Rs 2000/ for India Today book club otter of 20CD Sacred momentswith a assured free gift, diamond jewellery voucher worth 5000 holiday package and many more.This was sent on 14/09/2008 by Canara Bank, pune Cheque.Neither it is acknowledged nor the 20 CD pack sent .There is no communication.Is it the same India TOday group?

I received a sms saying that my order has been processed, my order number was 0GA[protected], with order value of Rs. 574/- on 19.11.2008. But I have not received any of the items from India Today Book Club since today i.e 29.11.2008.

BIG CHEATERS...
INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB IS A BIG CHEATER...
I HAD ORDERED 20 CD DEVOTIONAL PACK CALLED SACRED MOMENTS...WORTH 2000RS...I HAVE RECIEVED THE CD PACK WITH A ASSURANCE OF A FREE GIFT...FOR WHICH WE HAVE TO CLAIM THROUGH NET...BUT THIS SITE SAYS THT THE DETAILS ENTERED IS WRONG...TRIED IT SEVERAL TIMES BUT NO RESPONSE...JUST A BIG FRAUD...

NOT RECOMMENTED TO ANY BUYERS...

I opted for a SAAZ Series CD pack worth Rs.2000.00 around 5 months before. I sent 2 cheques worth Rs.600.00 each which has been already debited from my bank account. One day the postman comes and says I have to pay 2000.00 again for that where I was supposed to pay just Rs.800.00. The ITBC number you sent is ITBC08403642. On top of this whenever I call your customer care I need to wait for atleast 30 minutes without geetting any response. This is not the fare business you are doing. You call it customer service! Whatever I need my ordered product or my money back. Will you do it please...

India Today Book Club — Order not received after 7 weeks of full payment

I have still not received my order no: - 0GA[protected]Member ship no: - ITBC[protected] booked on 21st Dec'08 (Swatch Irony Chrono Black Watch + a Benetton watch as bonus gift).

As per email 10 days back from India Today Book Club, the order had been fully processed.

It is very unfortunate that India Today Book Club cannot deliver an order even after 7 weeks of booking and full payment through credit card amt INR 3199.

The customer care is pathetic, it goes on repeating the welcome sentence "Welcome to India Today...Dial 1 for India Today Book Club...etc." and never proceeds to the next sentence inspite of trying multiple times.

I have not received any email, sms or call confirming the dispatch details.

Please confirm the status of the captioned order on priority.

i've ordered a bestseller pack froem india today book club in which i've declared as a winner of certain gifts, i've already paid for the product but didn't have got the gifts .
i've tried several times but there is no response from the company side.

ITBC — Ordered and paid through internet for bestsellers book..order not recieved till now.

Dear Sir,
On 2nd Jan 2009, I have placed an order of Rs.2598 for 12 best sellers books along with to and fro air ticket and holiday package to any of the destination mentioned in the list. I have paid the money via internet by credit card and i've got confirmation mail as well as sms by ITBC that i have paid 2598 Rs to ITBC and my order will process in 3-4 weeks. In Feb 1st week after some follow up with the call centre i have received 1 pack of CDs ( not books) delivered at my mailing address with an intimation that i have to collect the cd's from post office by paying a charge of rs 2598. When i talked to Call center representative i was told that i should return the pack and my original pack will be sent to me soon. Since then i have called and talked to atleast 10 times with ITBC representatives but i have not received even a single call from ITBC. Once as per the instruction of ITBC rep i mailed my credit card statement as well as copy of confirmation mail from ITBC, but no reply.

I had belief on the brand name of India today as i thought of good service with this offer but i am facing all this problems i now feel that i am trapped and deceived and making my my mind to go legal for the harassment i have faced during all these days after paying the amount instantly.

I would appreciate an immidiate look on tho this matter and provide me the necessary things which i should have got on purchase of the offer of 2598.
