This is the case of refund against twice payment of product "ART' D NOX' Dinner set through credit card this was done only on the request of Company staff that earler payment was not succesful. Thus Co. has delivered two sets of Dinner Set. On receipt I made complain then Co. suggest me to return back One set of Dinner set and my money will be refunded alongwith courrier charges total of Rs. 5, 998/-. on June 8, 2009 I was inform that within 25-30 days refund can be made.
I have mailed atleast 15-20 times and phone also in this regard. In reply they say refund is in process you will get within 7 days.Almost 3 months elapsed, I'm totally fade up. it is a clear case of cheating and flirting and Unfair Trade Practice
Now I mentally prepared that this money will not be refunded by them unless power is used.
Plz do the needfull

i am getting your mail since long time and orderd (order no# [protected]) a product in May..money was deducted from my account immidiatly but u face such a huge problem sending my product, i called mutiple times to ur center and everytime i got time for next 10 days, now its aug, , ,
i did not order KOHINOOR which u have to get it from England, , sud i consider this act as a fraud and take a ligal action ? sud i consider this kind of business is the reason for e-commerce to fail in india?

The above items were sent in one packet through DTDC courier vide their reference No. B 51742744 dated 11.02.2009. I had sent one e-mail to you in this regard. As instructed by you I am returning the above four items for change of size. The shoe size should be Size No.6 (However I am sending a sketch of the Reebok shoe which is being used) for ladies. The track suit should be small one which should suit to girls of the age 15-16 years. Both the set of shoe and track suit should be of different colours.

I had booked two sets of Reebok Shoes & Track Suits. No.ORA[protected] ORDER No.OGA[protected] DATED 28.01.09 Login ID:1572308 Membership No.ITBC 09842308 and Invoice No.ORA[protected] Order No, OGA[protected] dated 27.01.09 Login ID No.1574320 Membership No.ITBC 09Since the size was not suitable as per your instructions I had returned the same which were sent in one packet through DTDC courier vide their reference No. B 51742744 dated 11.02.2009. DTDC had confirmed that the packet was delivered to you on 13.02.2009. When I enquired with your customer care centre they have informed that the stock of requested size is not available right now. I request you cancel both the orders of Rs.3198/- [each return the funds of Rs.6396/- plus Rs.400/- incurred by me for returning the same to you, along with interest at 24% from 14.02.2009 till date of settlement. An early action in this regard is highly appreciated. Let me place on record the dissatisfaction on the inordinate delay from your side to respond to the needs of the customers. I have not received any communication from your side for the emails/written request/telephonic requests. Whether you feel appropriate for an institution like India Today Book Club. The customer care department has not shown any responsibility in sorting out this issue which is also not acceptable for common man doing business with you from various parts of the country. This is a feed back for you, how efficiently your various department are functioning/co-ordinating your business. Think it over whether this shows a healthy and good projection of your goodwill and reputation in the market. My credit card was promptly debited for Rs. 3199 by India Today Book Club and in spite of repeated reminders I have not received the fitness kit.
The only response I get from them is that it will be delivered soon.
This I believe is a fraud being carried out by India Today and many consumers have been cheated by them.
I sincerely hope that my complaint is addressed appropriately.

i have not recieved free gift assured by indiatimes.
As a book club member I booked for a Swatch Chrono watch and Beneton Watch for only Rs.3199/- with the ID:[protected] before months.I did not receive the item even after months.Then I called the customer support and they promised to sent WITHIN ONE WEEK. But I received one fitness kit which I never even thought of. Then again I called the customer care and they asked me to courrier that pack back and gave a new ID 0GA[protected]. I sent that parcel back via DTDC with AW Bill no.F 04481169 and that they received in Delhi on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 1511 Hrs. But till today I did not get the items. Many a time I complained the customer care. But no use. Now they dont even attent my number from which I always call. What should I do to get the item or to get my money back?

I had booked the order (Order no. is: MITBC-WEB[protected] at 'India today book club' for 4 books pack against free gift offer of Reebok classic watch worth rs. 2599.

The parcel I received was only having 4 book pack and the free gift offer of Reebok classic watch are not delivered’.

I emailed the company and they asked me to ‘visit the below mentioned bookstoday.in/promos.htm link to claim your free gifts.

When I visited the link, I came to know that for Reebok watch they have put such conditions that some one decides then also he cannot availed the offer .
Also the payment Rs 800 is required for Reebok watch and shipping charges, which was not mentioned in the initial offer flyer.

The terms & conditions they are asking me to follow for free gifts are informed me after I have accepted the delivery of 4 books pack. Legally I am not bound to follow any of such condition.


The free gift what they are saying is a totally misguiding to the customers.

I have maintained copies of all communication between ‘India today book club’ and me. I am expecting my money back with harassment compensation and company to stop such cheating marketing policy.
