[Resolved]  Indian Railways — Confirmed tickets but no berth or seat on train

We had reserved 15 berths in A.C. II tier (2 AC) through IRCTC in train No.2230A,NDLS LKO AC SPL. from Ghaziabad to Lucknow on 19th February,08

We were issued three PNR nos. [protected](allotted seats 2,4,6,11,12,17), [protected] (allotted seats 44,46,41,42,35,36) and [protected] (allotted seats 23,24,18). The tickets were courierd at our residence.

However, on the date of travel i.e. on 19th February, 08, we were in Delhi and decided to board the train from New Delhi railway station. When we reached the station to our suprise the above seats were allotted to different PNR numbers

We were 7 childrens, 4 females and 4 males and it was an overnight journey. We held the train at the station for about 30 miniutes but neither the TT nor the station master helped us in any was rather told us to adjust with other pasangers. This was despite we checking the PNR status on the internet at the NDLS (capital city of India) Railway station.

Our families faced mental agony besides inconvenience.

Can Indian Railways compensate us and punish the concerned officials.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Indian Railways is supposed to be the biggest railways in the world. But to my dismay the services provided by the Indian railways are degrading day by day. I am not sure what is the reason behind it ?
This complaint is regarding the bad and delayed servirces provided by the Indian Railaways to me .
I am Hastimal Suklal Jain, from Nandurbar. I have send my two wheeler HONDA ACTIVA by AHMADABAD – HOWRAH EXPRESS from NANDURBAR, on 05/05/2008 respected builty no – 25896/p01, NUMBERED – MH 39 E 7889 the double railline declared by Your estimeed railwalway ministry.
Nandurbar might be a small town from your point of view but this is very sad and harrashing act by your department that my vehical is at your department from last 15 days and not been delivered at Nagpur yet after 15 days. Now the point, this is not at all my responsibility that I should take care of that vehicle after delivering it to your so called estimeed department . I am going to comply with this to times of India and various national news papers and our local news papers and also I am going to take the legal action against this case and shall make a national level issue and also to the electronic media so that I will break your management to pieces within very less time if I will not been contacted within 6 hours of the time .
Of course I am sending this mail to the secreteriet to the railway minister MR. LALU PRASAD YADAV. I want my vehicle to my Nagpur railway station with immediate iffect as soon as you get this mail .
Hope you will do your service legally, genuenly and sincerely.

We had reserved 6 berths in A.C. III tier (3 AC) through Indian Railway in train No.2625 from Trivandrum to New Delhi on 29th May, 08 The Boarding was change to Renigunta

We were issued PNR nos.[protected]allotted seats 9, , 12, 10, 11, 13, 14

We were 3 females and 3 males and it was two Days journey. when we depart from Renigunta on Dated 29.05.2008 our berth is allotted to some other persons.
We have faced mental as well as physical torture due to this inconvinience. in this process we have also lost one of our suitcase that contains cash and goode worth 1 lac.rs.
so we request you to refund our ticket money along with loss of bhooty, compensation for mental torture and punish the concerned officials.

This is regarding the SouthIndian Railway.It is very difficult to get a seat Accommodation in a Bangalore- Ernakulam and beyond. If we reserve 2 and half month in advance also there is no availability.inspite of having many trains(once in a week)other than ISLAND EXP, the passenger list is more.Railway Ministry cannot ignore this. Private bus owners are taking advantage of this.and those who cannot travel by bus (due to physical problems) are suffering by this.We have 3 trains per day from Trivandrum to Mangalore. Where the passenger rush is less compared to and from Bangalore. So It is a request to the Ministry to provide atleast 3 trains daily from Bangalore to Trivandrum.
Dear Sir/Mam,
Booked ticket in Aug. Kranti 3A from Delhi to Mumbai in name of my wife Rakhi Gupta age 34 PNR no, : [protected] Transaction ID: [protected] on date 18/6/08.
On internet on date 20/6/08 the status was confirmed but when my wife with 2 kids reached Nizamuddin station to board the train TT refused to let them in train because her name was not in Chart. On internet the status is still showing confirmed with birth B8, 32.
She was forced to go back today. When she tried to approach the head ticketing at staion no body listened to her.
You are requested to look into the matter on priority and give me full refund because i am not able cancel the ticket from internet.
Also give me the next day confirmed ticket for her because she missed the train because of railways mistake.
The railways should take care in future because today she travelled from Nabha to Delhi to catch the train and cost her huge money and harassment.

Dear SIR,

I was returning from Manmad to New delhi but my ticket was not confirmed it was e-ticket and waitlisted, so the Station Superintendent told me to cancel the ticket and take a general ticket which i took and travelled,

But per the counter they told me the amount will be transfered to your card automattically.

But till now i have not received the amount WHY?.

Please look into the matter and reply ASAP.

i have some comments but i am not sure[protected]
can any one, tell me when any ome know about the current status of his ticket . i think, 4 hour earlier chart is prepare . but in my case waiting one is not confirmed that is other thing but 1hr. earlier i did not know my current status. i always saw on net was CHART IS NOT PREPARED. i want to know, at what time chart is prepared.
