I book my refil through internet by Tomogas on 28th March 2011, my booking no is 14,
but my local Indane gas dealer refuse my booking & not give me delivery.

Yes.. this type of attitude is prevalent in many places. I am from Kochi and web booking is accepted at this area.. But the agency booking agent shows a very arrogant attitude and asks to book it again.. .. If you do it as per their advise, you will get your refill after 30 more days...

I have heard this from many people around that the agency was showing such a disgusting attitude to the consumers...

The consumers should unite and take strong action against these agencies who are thinking that its some sort of favour that they are doing... All consumers should be aware that its their right to get the refills at the right time advised by the Indian Oil company (in case of Indane). As per Indian Oil, everyone has the right to get their refill after a maximum of 30 days of booking it (this may be of less time at some other places)

Indane has an online booking system, but it is ridiculously insufficient! We are absolutely dissatisfied with the services.It has been 12 days, at least 50 call attempts, sms, and numerous call center agents who just do not seem to know how to refill a simple order. I am quite sure even this complaint is going to go unnoticed.God help your company if this is how you intend to treat your customers.AF5114 is my consumer number, if anybody is even bothering to check!

    Dlayy in Gas Delivery
    I have Booked a Gas Cylinder on 9/3/2011 on web . My consumer no. is 12235. Every time, I visited the agency, it was told that the gas cylinder will be delivered tomorrow. But till date I did not get the cylinder.

    It appears that they have permanently removed telephone receiver from the crendle. Always getting engage tone.
    Till 23/01/2008 the refilled Gas Cylinder has not been delivered.
    Is there any scarcity of Gas or this is created problem locally.

    I had booked a cylinder with M/S Robertsganj Gas Agency Robertsganj Sonebhadra (UP) Consumer No.007708, till date, the same is not delivered to me within 21days, I went to the agency to booked again and to enquire about it, but they cannot book cylinder they say to me that after delivery of 21days we booked then I request for complaint and the staff had used filthy language against me after lodging complaint.

    Hi,
    I am in urgent need of gas cylinder and so I have booked today my cylinder request to Tanushree Gas Agency, Pratap Nagar, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, New Delhi-91. The agency replied me that it is unable to deliver as there is shortage of gas and there are already many pending requests of cylinder delivery and it will take 2-3 days.
    However, I always find agency's delivery man selling cyliders in black charging extra money of Rs 100-150 and that too at a distance of hardly 50-100 meters from agency office. When I informed this to agency they asked me that I should catch those delivery men.
    I want to know if it is not the responsibility of agency to check their delivery men functioning and to find out if they are not selling cylinders in black and also the cyliders are delivered with its full volume of gas as it is found so may times that cyliders are delivered with lesser volume of gas.
    I also want to know if it is not responsibility of Indane to find out whether their distribution agencies are functioning properly or not . Has there been any auditing of these agencies by Indane.

    1. It was found since last 10th Month The Gas destributer M/S BIRSAMUNDA GAS AGENCY at BARGARH (Orissa) is not capable to deliver cylinder's in time. They are taken up to aprox. 20 days from the date of Booking.
    Finaly we have recieved the cylinder after 41 to 45 days of previous issue of cylinder.

    2. Many times it was found that they are not recieved/Attend the phone call.
    3. Is there no any Home Delivery facility for Our residential area Cement Nagar Bardol. The distance Between Dealer's Office to Cement Nagar is approx 4 KM only.

    Respected sir,
    please tell us that, is there any home delivery for our resident ? because all time delivery agent said that this facility is only for government officers or political leaders and refused our request. And Many times it was found that they are not recieved/Attend the phone call.
    I had booked a cylinder from Robertsganj Gas Agency Robertsganj Sonebhadra (UP) Consumer No.20146. And also paid my fees before 8 days. but still i am finding a way to get it. If there is any rule for receiving my gas cylinder please help me on [protected]. I shall be highly obliged to you.

      Connection Number 13104 o[censored]rvashi Enterprises Gurgaon.

      Leak reported with smell in kitchen . No action inspite of 3 reminders spread over 7 days. When smell became very intense , reported matter afresh to Urvashi Agency on April 12. 2011. Over 3 hours later, there is no response.

      Shameful service for a complaint with serious consequences.

      Sending a separate complaint to Chairman IOC as well.

        Partially filled cylinder supplied

        This is to complain you that I am observing since a long time that partially filled Gas cylinder is supplied to me. This time I weighed the cylinder and I found that there is loss of 4 KG gas. Now the total weight is 27 kg which should be 31 kg. Please do the needful because many consumer facing this problem.

        Location - Imperial Petroleum Gas Station - Sr. No. 60/40, Mundhwa, Ghorpadi Road, Pune

        Description:
        I asked the attendant to fill Rs 1000 petrol. I came out of the car and looked at the meter reading. He distracted me and finally showed a zero on the pump meter.
        Immediatly, he distracted me by pushing the bill and some Indian Oil card which had no meaning.

        I realized that he had reset the meter reading to Rs 1000, though it was zero litres in the quantity. I was CHEATED.

        I don't know as how to fight back as what is the proof.................I already had some petrol in the car prior to filling.
        The CAR fuel reading also showed that the petrol was filled only for Rs 500 and NOT Rs 1000.

        COMMENT: I realized at the pump itself and even spoke to the attendant that the quantity is less.
        However, I did not shout as I thought that I could be wrong.

        BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT EVEN IF YOU FIND SLIGHT ISSUE, PLEASE SHOUT AT THEM AND CREATE A SCENE. THIS WOULD ONLY SOLVE THE ISSUE IF EVERYONE STARTS FIGHTING AND DO NOT GIVE THEM BENEFIT OF DOUBT.


        I am writing at this Forum. I know my post would be helpful for the fellow members who would get cheated in future and would search for related information.

        However, is the Consumer Forum or any other Agency looking at these POSTS?????????
        OR, are we just venting out without any GAIN?

        Same thing also happened to me in IOCL petrol pump opp E sqaure, Shivaji Nagar..
        I have lodged a complaint in IOCL website with the vigilance department. They contacted me and are making random raids for verification of the same. They are very serious about this cheating issue. They will take the necessary action.

          Dear Mr. Pankaj ,


          I am trying to take your appointment through phone , visits to Indian Oil office for past one week . have failed miserably . I am writing to seek a solution from you as all the limits have been crossed .


          My Plight : I want to take a gas ( LPG ) connection for myself and even after having all the valid proofs as mentioned on your website , I am not provided with one because of prejudice best know to IOC


          My Ordeal


          It was outright frustrating experience dealing with these two people mentioned below ( basic courtesy demands I write gentlemen but both are far away from these words, I am afraid )

          Actually I am in shock and at loss of words that such work shying and indolent people ( your Employee, Mr. Amarjit Singh , board outside his room says ( Customer Service Cell ) and Brig Mohli , Agency owner of Farid Gas agency , Manimajra ) people exist in today’s society .

          One ,employee of One of the Gems of Indian Industry and the other , I am ashamed to know that he served Indian Army at one point of time and you gave this man ur company’s agency !!!!!!!

          Such Bad words like , ‘ Tum Bhaiyon ( people from UP / bihar) ko hum connection nahin denge “ , “tum apne gharon mein logon ko ek ek kamra kiraye pe deke connection mangne aa jate ho” “ hamein pata hai apka , apke baap ke naam 4 connection chal rahe hain “ were used against me and my family on MY face . please get hallucination check of such people as they are not fit to represent ur company


          I felt so harassed and never knew till that day that I had to be of a particular community to take a LPG connection of Indian Oil . that I will take it separately by filling a complaint against the agency owner who said this and your employee who sent me there .


          I stay in Chandigarh and wanted a gas ( lpg ) connection for myself . On visting the IOC office 0n 04.04 2011 and requesting a meeting with Mr Pankaj Mathur , I was seen as I have asked to meet Sonia Gandhi ( yes that the expression of something impossible for a common man ) nevertheless she told me to to to a room called Customer Servcie / grievance cell. On going there I met Mr Amarjit Singh and informed him that I want to take a connection and he gave me a chit mentioning “ Brig Mohli , For issue of n/c “.

          My 5 visits from 4/4/11 till 9/4/11 did not yield any result as the above mentioned man was never available .

          Finally on 9/4/11 I got a chance to meet him and out rightly he said he will not issue a connection , I told him I am meeting him with ref of a message from Mr. Amarjit Singh and he started off “ , “tum apne gharon mein logon ko ek ek kamra kiraye pe deke connection mangne aa jate ho”


          I said that’s not the case , I stay in a 3 bed room , first fllor of a 500 sq yard house . I have all the valid proofs , passport , telephone bills etc . and he should issue me a LPG connection .
          To which he shouted “ hamein pata hai apka , apke baap ke naam 4 connection chal rahe hain “

          To which I also argued in high tone voice that he should tell me the number of connections running on my father’s name . at this instance he and his sons started pushing me hitting me . the people present in the agency somehow saved me .

          Sir , it seems ur company is being represented by SUCH BADMASH people and BADMASH employees who in connivance with such people for reasons best know to you .

          I assume this feedback will be dovetailed to help you improve ur processes in long run and you will take appropriate action against the erring people as mentioned above .

          Awaiting your reply on action taken by u after complete probing done by you


          I am submitting that in case you find it not worthwhile to reply to my mail , I will be forced to forward it to consumer welfare groups , print media so that they help me to world also gets to know what harassment a common man goes through while just to take a new LPG connection of IOC .

            DEAR SIR,
            my complaint against MAA BAMLESHWARI GAS AGENCY using his monopoly very badly in the city. where nowadays all the distributors giving services to the customer at phone and deliver the cylinder to home.he wanted a queue in his door step in the front of main road which is very harmfull. I saw a long queue in front of his door of agency every day he is a single distributor in the town so people are helpless. many more things i heared from the people but not discussable in network.but i really think there is a hierarchy support of indian oil to him so he can do such thing. wish son this msg reach to doable person & might they think to resolve this issue.

                I am LPG Consumer of M/S Sri Ram Agency , Rammurthy Nagar , Bangalore. My consumer number is 60424. I booked for gas on[protected], and he has not supplied up to yesterday, I called him 4 days back that time also they told today they will supply , again today morining i called they suplied in afternoon and they charged me Rs.25/- extra. when i asked why this Rs.25/- extra they are telling they have come and the door was locked. From[protected] me mother is at home only the Gas agency pple not coming and unncessary they charging . This typr they are doing 3rd time to me. Kidnly take action regarding this.

My customer ID no is 25125.Regularly I am in touch with distributors office for getting an additional cyclinder.Even time said me that you are come after 15 days, still distributor not giving an additional cyclinder and not booked

                    sir,I have IOC Xtrarewards card, since the last 3 months. in Andhrapradesh near ongole city surareddipalem jublee retail outlet IOC also could not enter the card to the machine,the staff said to me they were do not know operate the mechine.My card no-[protected],

                    I am holding a XtraRewards card. I get the fuel filled at the Rameshwar filling station, Banjara hills, Hyderabad.
                    Every time i get my car tank filled with the fuel & ask for upgrading of points on card. The reply i get is the machine is not working. I request the concerned persons to look into this matter & solve it.
                    Also kindly let us know what shall i do about all the fuel we have been taking from your outlets. I have most of the invoice's for the fuel filled. Will that amount be added or i stand to loose those points. Kindly do let me know about it.

                    I am holding a card for Xtra Rewards. I get my vehicles refuelled from RAMESHWAR FILLING STATION,
                    Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Most of the time we ask for upgrading of the points on the card, we are told that the machine is not working. I request the concerned persons to look into this matter & do the needful.

                    Since one month my card is not working and in petrol bunk at the time of swiping showing the massage is shown as application form not received but i have submitted application form to indian oil petrol bunk at SIVAM Auto Begumpet, Hyderabad and office staff also confirmed they were submitted all documents.                     On 09.05.2012 at IOC petrol bunk at BEL circle jalahalli Bangalore, one IOC petrol bunk staff was selling IOC extra rewards booklet with xtra reward card at Rs 60/ and telling advantages of this card. he has taken address of mine address and date of birth and told that within one month you will get reply of registration. I was getting points when they sweep this card. But today 13.07.2012. When I purchased petrol and they swept this card, it was not being accepted and machine replied that application not received.                         being an honest citizen of this country, i think i have the right to know that when there is a stipulated time for gas delivery at homes then why it is not being done in that particular period of time?? at this situation where should we go to sort out our trouble which we face due to unavailability of gas cylinder at home. as people from the middle class group cannot afford daily lunch or dinner outside, therefore some strict measure is being required for us. When I enquired about the procedure in getting the new connection , the concerned official said to pay a sum amount of Rs.4430/- with a new gas burner or Rs.3600 without it.They said that a receipt of Rs.2600/- will be provided while the rest amount of Rs,1000/- will be taken as bribe.So I want the procedure to be carried out for getting my connection for which i will pay the required charges. And I would also like the concerned authority to check in modus operandi of these corrupt officials.

                              We are residents of Greater Noida, Sector Gamma -2. We all are facing very difficulty to the very poor and bad service of the Kasna Indane Gas Service, Greater Noida. They are giving the cylinder after booking of 25 - 30 days. The most important matter is nobody is not response well and the phone is 24x7 busy and no phone of concerned officials for complaining this matter. Sir please help the residents of Greater Noida because we have only one gas agency here and nobody will not give their cylinder for helping the neighbour because the booking gas will reach after one month.

                                Dear Sirs,

                                I filled up Diesel for my car yesterday at Pathy & Co,Indian Oil Dealers Pallavaram for
                                Rs.500. I noticed the meter reading cover was dirty and not too visable. Since was in a hurry to get to work at the Airport, I just glanced at the meter and thought was alright.
                                However, noticed that my dashboard meter was very slow in moving. When I reached the Airport, noticed the level of diesel on the dashboard meter, was only half of the normal. (If I fill for Rs.500, the level will go beyond quarter). But the level shown was only half of the normal level.
                                I very sure that the pump was altered and they are cheating everyone.

                                  There is a strong leakage of gas from the new cylinder supplied by Shree Bajrang Indane Gas Supply, Sonari, Kagalnagar, Jamshedpur.

                                  When the complaint was lodged they reported that it will be attended within 10 minutes but still after 2 hours no one has reached my residence. On calling back they said that their mechanic has left their office and will attend the call when our time comes in the queue.

                                  If gas leakage is treated as an ordinary call then what is the safety norms that Indane is following. I have been also advised by the supplier that I should remove the cylinder to the outside and wait till their mechanic arrives. What I would like to know who will compensate me for the gas loss and also for the security of the cylinder.

                                  I request you to kindly take the necessary action and give us proper solution at the earliest, though I know that this whole issue of writing this complain is futile for no one bothers to even look into such case from your end too.

                                  Gas cylinder was supplied to me ( Customer No. 21990) on the 3rd of July 2008 at 11:00 am. The payment was made by cash memo no. 11575 and was stored properly in a cool and dry place. Subsequently, around 11:30 a.m we smelled gas and found that there was leakage in the sealed cylinder.Immediately the leakage was complained to Nedus Distribitors(Distributor for Indane) at 11:30 a.m. A mechanic was sent on the same day at about 5.00 p.m. and confirmed the leakage and a complaint slip was issued. He assured that the same would be replaced the next day.
                                  We regret that till this time no action has been taken and the cylinder has been stored safely with intact seal.
                                  On 7th July, our representative visited the distributor's shop at about 9:30 a.m. The complaint slip was taken back from him by the distributor and he was told that the action will be taken after consulting the mechanic.
                                  This is highly irregular and we will appreciate replacement of the sealed and intact cylinder without leakage immediately.
                                  After opening the seal of an Indane gas that was just delivered, I have given the gas regulator connection. After connecting the regulator, I have just opened regulator's Knob. I heard the gas cylinder leaking noise clearly. I thought that I ll have to connect properly and tried again. Even after connecting properly the gas was leaking after opening regulators knob. Then I inspected properly the difference between the empty cylinder and the new one. The new cylinder had a defect. A rubber washer was missing in the delivered cylinder. This was the reason for the leakage. I was surprised that the cylinder had escaped so much of security checks that Indian oil company would have at their factory. This shows that some loop hole definitely exist in the company's security policy.
                                  Now a days even HPC Cylinders delivered have some defective rubber washers. This may be due to excess heat to which cylinders are exposed. However, they have to check before delivering the same to avoid possible major accidents.

On 24th March 2011, Radha Krishna Indane gas agency gave me "Transfer Termination Voucher" and informed me that I will continue getting the service from Guruprasad Indane Gas Agency located at Survey No.41/2, Chintamani Nagar Pune.
                                    Guruprasad Indane Gas Agency at Aundh informed us later that they will not accept the trasfer document as they provide the service only till Wakad area and do not cover Hinjewad. Guruprasad Indane Gas Agency also asked us to surrender the connection and take HP or Bharat gas connection.
                                    If I would have known that Indane gas do not provide services to all the locations in India, then I would have never taken a connection from it. Our 1st cylinder is already empty and we are running our second cylinder. I have 4 people at my house & if the second cylinder gets empty, then it will be a very bad experience.

                                      This petrol pump tried to cheat by distracting me while filling fuel in my car. On request to fill Petrol worth Rs.1000/- the attendant stopped at Rs.200/- claiming that i had requested for only Rs.200/- and questioned me about the credit card that I was going to make payment with. In the mean time 2-3 attendants came to my window and blocked my view of the meter. In the course of the conversation they told me that to complete my request for Rs.1000/- they would fill additional Rs.800/-. This time he did not show me the meter reading before he begun to fill fuel. On completion my credit card was charged for Rs.1000/- and a bill was issued.
                                      I was suspicious that the fuel gauge did not indicate that 15.8 liters had been filled hence I turned around and went back to the attendant questioning them about the quantity of fuel dispensed. On realizing that i had comprehended the situation; the attendant agreed to fill fuel for an additional Rs.200/- before i could raise an alarm in front of the other customers. They apologized for the incident claiming oversight.

                                      Hope to bring this incident to the attention of all motorists who travel alone and are easy targets of fuel attendants. My presence of mind and quick think helped me over come this situation without any loss.
