[Resolved] Make My Trip — Incorrect Fare | |
Hi, This strange thing happened with me and with around 100 odd friends of mine.On 23rd Sep 2012 I booked a return ticket from Bangalore to Delhi. The total Fare shown to me was 5092 (and it was mentioned that this is a discounted ticket). This was a mother of all deals and therefore I immediately booked this ticket along with many others in my organisation. I already had a ticket which i had booked earlier, I cancelled that ticket as that was a bad deal for me. Today morning I got a call from makemytrip folks and they said that there was a technical error and there was no such discount. I am nowhere now. My trip has been ruined (as i cancelled my previous higher priced ticket), i have to reschedule my trip , plus , the incovenience at the office (cancelling the leaves, rescheduling the leaves etc). Make My Trip is considered as a professionally driven company but such amateur response makes a consumer loose his hope towards big names like Make My Trip . I feel that companies should be more possesive towards their brand image and corporate presence. Was this information helpful? | |

same thing happened with me. I dont know what is make my trip upto. I think we should all take strong legal actions and go to the consumer forum

Exactly...MakeMytrip is a fraud site...Disgusting...
ya exactly...the same thing happened to me...The inconvenience they have caused is affecting me professionally(leaves n all), personally(was about to go home) and even financially(cancellation of former ticket)...its just disgusting and shameful...
Similar thing happened with my friends. It has caused so much of inconvenience to them. They cancelled their previous tickets to book the new low fare one shown by the Make My Trip. But then they came to know there was no such discount. This is totally unfair on part of Make My Trip.
