I have booked my Bus ticket from Makemytrip from Abu Road to Mumbai on 01/12/2012 Bus operator - Neeta Tours and Travels PRN/ticket Number - 5567301 Makemytrip Bus ID :NU[protected] two seats. At the time of boarding I called the bus operators Dsmesh Travels on [protected] to get the location. The Bus opeator told me I have to come to Palampur to get the bus which was not possible me. I told him I have bboked the ticket from Abu Raod and it is not possible me to come to Palampur but he told me the Bus will not come to take me at Abu Raod. Hence I cancelled my ticket the I have not refunded any amount by Makemytrip. I must get the full refund of Rs.3600/-.

    This morning i did a hotel booking on makemytrip.com site. Everything was fine and I made payment by internet banking. I got a message that said transaction failed. On checking my bank account i found to my surprise that the money had been deducted from my account, but i had received no booking confirmation via email or sms.
    I called customer care and spoke to them and they told me there was NO BOOKING done ! If that is the case then why have they taken my money?
    I have sent a written complaint to them to get my money refunded to me attaching a scan of my bank statement showing that makemytrip has indeed debited my account.
    This is a really unpleasant experience and I feel cheated.

      I had book 4 tickets to bhopal via make my trip, however it is not getting updated. i placed a complaint on their website but they cannot be reached. the booking is for 23 dec 2012 and was booked on 31st oct. the pnr umber is not getting updated for the past 15 days. what is this. the pnr should get updated. the worst part is we cannot reach this make my trip people.booking id number is nr[protected].

        Hi

        I have booked spicejet ticket to travel from Delhi to Chennai for myself, my mom, my wife and our baby (10 months) for Dec 08, 2012 and in the confirmation email - the names of all four o[censored]s are printed correctly but in the eticket, the name of my infant is the same as myself.

        Even after call and email to customer care, there is no response from customer care. Only automated response to get back to me.

        Please help urgently as our travel date is approaching. My booking id is NP[protected] and my Reference ID :[protected]

        I have the same issue now and am just not able to get through the MakeMyTrip customer care number. I have been on hold for almost 30 minutes now...Were you able to travel without any issues?

          I had booked a cab using www.makemytrip.com on 22nd Nov. 2012. I required the cab for 4 hours on 24th Nov. 2012 starting from 7. 30 PM. I had made an advance payment of around Rs. 544 in that regard also. The MakeMyTrip Booking ID is NC[protected].

          However, to my shock I wasn't provided the service by the cab service provider and kept in the dark till the very last moment that I wouldn't be provided the service. I had received a call from some cab vendor inquiring about my destination etc. and that person told me that he would send me the cab and driver details around 2 hours before pick up. However, I did not receive any such message and after waiting till the very last moment when I called the number from where I had received a call, I was informed that they didn't have any cabs available. Needless to say it put in an enormous amount of trouble as I had to scamper for a cab at the last moment.

          I registered a complaint on makemytrip.com but they haven't acted on it so far. The complaint ID is[protected].

          I feel cheated by makemytrip.com and want an appropriate punishment for them.

          I had booked two tickets through makemytrip on Spicejet, Dec2014 and 6th Jan2015.Both flights were cancelled due to operational reasons.Spicejet says they have refunded the full amount.But makemytrip is deducting Ra.1750 on the tickets.I am entitled to get the full amount back.In future I shall think twice before booking my tickets through makemytrip.I hope some action to be taken on this.
          My booking ID' s are19th Dec2014 SG521, NF[protected], PNR ME7N5R and on 6th Jan2015, SG522, booking II NF[protected]withPNR L4MDYF.

            I had booked a round trip ticket from Srinagar chandigarh and vice versa... the total ammount was. 5245... i had to cancel the tickets afyer a few days as the plan did not freeze... when i cancelled the tickets i was confir,ed that the ammount og rs 2745 will be refunded but they ammount that tjey refunded was only 1745 . I called them a number of times they accepted that it was a mistake on their part and will be rectified within 24 hrs but till date it has not been done and they are not giving a proper response if i call them again.

              To Whom Soever It may Concern I have been over charged for a Flight ticket booked through Make My Trip.com below chain of mails to and from them will give an idea of the ordeal I have gone through... I hope my experience will be a lesson at least for others not to use MMT

              I work in the logistics and Airline industry myself... please dont give me excuses that Airline rates are dynamic... I understand that it is dynamic but based on load factor... but 2 changes in a gap of 25 minutes and that too from one rate to another and then back to the same rate??? Are you kidding me??? This answer is unacceptable to me...

              And mind you... when your dash board said 4851 when I clicked 'buy' on it I should have got that rate... other wise you are cheating the customer... and as the date closes in does the rate go up or down? and within 25 mins?

              I think you guys need to at least give me a valid explanation to the point that how did the rate change in the minute of clicking the dashboard to booking the ticket and that to by over 40% and was back down within a span of 25 minutes???? Please do not give standard responses... The least I expect you to do is a thorough back ground check before reverting...

              Please let me know the contact details of some one with a little more responsibility and sensibility that I can correspond to since you seem more bound by policies and standard scripts than common sense.

              If this is going to be your final response I will be forced to go to the consumer forum on this... Since it more a matter of principle here than money. I feel cheated by Make my Trip.. And I will go to any end to express my displeasure...

              Hope to receive a more sesible revert from a superior at the earliest...

              Please stop sending customers coupons which have got riders attached to it... I tried to use the below voucher at Jabong.com... Following is what happend

              1) When you select one item and apply the voucher it applies... but the site will not let you buy the produsct saying that you have to attach atleast two items to your cart before you can purchase... (So it cant be used)

              2) When you add one more product and try to use the coupon it says the coupon is not applicable... this is ridiculous...

              And more inportantly the cost on Jabon is atleast 10% higher than any normal online site... So if your agruement is that we first need to purchase two items without the coupon and then use the coupon on the 3rd purchase... eventually the loss for the customer is far higher than the gain of that mere 500INR.... I would have rather you didnt give any vouchers.. than make a fool o[censored]s consumers...

              I am going to be posting this information on the other networking sites as well... So that others dont waste their time... since I wasted at least a couple of hours surfing the site to find some products which suited my requirement (and my time is very precious like a lot of others) since the other were senselessly overpriced.

              Another big issue that I had faced while doing my booking on MMT is that when I booked a ticket for BOM => the price said said 4851 All inc... but when I booked it... the final transaction amount came to 7652(Booking reference NF[protected]... And then 25 mins later when I made another booking for the same sector the price was back to 4976 (Booking reference NF[protected].... Same flight same date... booked on the same day within a span of less than 30 mins... When I called your call center the 1st time your agent told me that flight rate fluctuate any time... Which I agree.. but that logic doesnt apply in this case.. for two reasons.. when I saw the cost of flight on your dashboard it was 4851INR, it changed in less than 2 mins??? and in another 20 mins it was back to the same cost???? I understand escallation of cost towards the flight date but the reverse???and tat too up and down fluctuatio in a span of 30 mins... anyway she couldnt explain a logic back to me and said she had to speak to her senior... while on hold the line got disconnected and i had to call back and speak to another agent ouf yours who understood mystand point (was pretty understanding and sensible, but somehow not empowered)and has told me he has escallated it to the back office team apparently... he gave me a ref no of[protected] and told me some one would get back to me within 3 working days on this ... so I am waiting... but I want to put on record that I do not expect an experience of this nature from what I thought was a professional organisation in MMT....

              I have been using MMT for some time andiIt would hurt me to got out as a detractor and negate MMT in all my social and professional circles... Not to mention the social networking...

              Hope to hear from someone in a responsible position in MMT soon...

                Hi,

                I made one booking for Volvo sleeper on 12.Oct.12 booking ID IN1210B09363, the total amount for this booking was Rs. 3450/-, but as per advice from Travel agent of makemytrip, I made initial payment of Rs. 1000/- ( as I was not assure of going).

                After this, I cancelled my booking , till today I am waiting for my money to be refunded to my credit card.

                Which is till now not happened, I called more than 20 times till today, but every time there will be unsatisfied answer from the Customer care executives, even I marked the mail or complaint to their complaint system through there website but TILL NOW NOTHING HAPPENED.

                I don't know whether they will return my money or not :(.

                  I have booked my trip through make my trip though call center. MMT lack communication in many aspects. One should not book online or though call center. The trip should be booked on counter or MMT office. The hotels in thailand ask deposits around 2000 to 3000 baht. No one informed us before trip. Gems gallery is waste of time should not be included in package. Kesari is little expensive but better than MMT

                    Booked 2 Rooms in the hotel Takhat Villas Guest House, Jodhpur (for 15 th and 16 th November 2012) via Make My Trip. Booking date was 22 nd October 2012. Booking ID is NH[protected] . We were two families and I was with my wife a 2 yr children. Before checking in into the hotel I called twice into the hotel and confirmed my booking as we supposed to be late. But when I came to the hotel (time was near about 12:30 AM , 16 th November 2012) and tried to check in then had forcefully refunded my money back without providing us any type of accommodation. They had given an excuse of improper toilet. When I asked to see the same they refused. After that I called Make My Trip toll free number provided in the booking voucher i.e "[protected]" but I had not received any solution. And they asked me to call next day morning.

                      I had availed one Puja package for Thailand with make my trip.com (Booking no. IN1209B09406) with my spouse. I did make the entire payment during booking, which ultimately turned out to be mistake. They had offered me a discount of Rs. 4000/- later on, verbally and recorded in e-mails too.
                      So, I requested for the refund in the month of Sept’ 12, to which they were repeatedly saying the request is under process. I requested the same during October, to the representative who was dealing with the holiday. Even after returning from the tour, I am yet to receive the refund, which I had been requesting since Sept’ 2012. I called their toll free numbers. I was assured a call back from the concerned Customer Delight team. But no calls were made by them.
                      So I did raise a complaint with them bearing ref. no.[protected], and completed the stage 4 of complaints, which involved contacting the senior management. However, I received no refund, only assurance of being contacted by their customer representative. Still there was no reply.
                      This time, I wrote on their FB wall. I received some ray of hope, because for the first time, somebody contacted from their end. I narrated the entire incident right from start and sent him copies of e-mails.
                      But till today, nothing from their end has happened. The issue is still open. I am yet to receive the refund.
                      Attaching one of the e-mails from make my trip promising the refund.

                          I booked ticket from delhi to nainital on 4th Feb 2010, when I reached there the bus tourist service person told me "No ticket is booked". Then I called to your helpline number and register complain regarding the refund of money on same day 4th Feb 2010.

                          I already called so many times to your customer helpline number, but they always give me same response that waiting for 3rd party reply. Its more than 10 working days and I didn't get any satisfactory solution.


                          So please let me know when I'll get my money back, because on 4th Feb I thought my ticket is booked, and its really important for me to go there. The whole process is really ridiculous, I didn't get any positive response from your side. As you aware its not a fault of mine, its a fault from your end.

                          due to the cancellation of our flight i.e paramount airlines dated 7th dec 2009 we are not refunded with our money which is Rs16985. the travel was from guwahati to agartala and the flight no. was- FLT[protected]. Many a times we have made our complain to the company but they did not responded. we will be highly obliged if you can please get our money refunded.
                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I had booked three return tickets for my family (2 adults and 1 child) on 31st March 2011. Due to some unknown reason I could not make payment through my credit card, therefore I called up the customer case in India and spoke with a representative and he booked three tickets for up. I clearly informed him that the reason I was doing over the phone was because I was not able to make payment through credit card and that I would make the payment through cash the next day as it the business hours was already closed for that day and he said that was not a problem at all. He took all our details and also gave us a booking ID IN1103B13554 and sent the itinerary to my email ID which I have attached below. I got one of my family friends to visit the Make My Trip Regional Office in Bangalore and made the full payment of Rs. 1,24,459/- for which they issued a bill and said that as soon as the Head Office gets the confirmation of the payment being made, they will mail the e-ticket to my email ID.

                          Instead the next day (on 1/4/11), I received a call from the representative not to make the payment as the Airlines had withdrawn the offer and if we needed the same tickets we would have to pay an extra Rs. 50,000/- odd. By then, we had already made the payment, so I said this is not my problem that it has happened because they should have informed me that I had to make the payment the same day. I even spoke to a supervisor who said that it was a mistake from their side but unfortunately nothing could be done from his side. He said that if I cancel the tickets, he would make sure that the amount that we had paid in cash would be wire transferred and would reach our account within 24 hours. I agreed to it and gave the bank details, etc. to which the wire transfer was to be made. I was expecting the money to reach my account on Saturday but it has not happened until now which is Monday.

                          I tried to call the customer service and I am absolutely disappointed with their response. No one is giving me an exact date when I can expect money. When I requested them if I could speak to a manager, they kept me on hold for about 15-20 minutes but the manager did not come on line. The representative said that he is busy in a meeting and that I should expect the money to be in my account by 4 PM India time.

                          I am attaching the scanned copy of the itinerary sent to me.

                          Please ensure something is done about it.

                            I booked my thailand vacation online with you travel agent (live chat )jaineet shah , on 6 nov 2012 and made the payment everything .. I got my receipt for payment, after that I never received my itenary, i called soo many times to travel agent and also make my trip no one helped me .. make my trip kept saying jaineet will call within 24 hrs but he never called .. i also booked my tickets from bdq to bom .. as my vacation was from bom .. i called 13th nov again to jaineet he said tht vacation prices gone up .. he charged me on 6nov but never booked .. i kept thinking i had a booking but he never made me one .. im very upset will never book with makemy trip again .. and will never recommend this to anyone .. i will post this comment on all website .. possible .. jaineet shouldnt be in make mytrip .. he didnt answer my calls and spoiled my whole vacation .. very very bad experices and services and i also emailed him my passport details 3 to 4 times .. he kept making excuses he never received them .. im canadian citizen i went to india after 5 years and this is what i had to go thought .. he spoiled my trip ..

                              I booked International flights for my husband and myself on 8th september 2012 using ICICI Bank Credit Card for travel( onward journey on 16th oct. after midnight)Bangalore-Bangkok & Bangkok-Phuket(continuous) & Return on 21st oct. from Phuket-Bangkok and from Bangkok-Bangalore on 24th oct.2012 on www.makemytrip.com but I hadn't received the 7% cash back till yet which I was supposed to get. My MakeMyTrip Booking ID is N[protected]. Its more than two months have already passed.I called them also on phone on 15/10/2012 and many emails have been sent to them. I get the reply that the matter has been sent to concerned team and it will be escalated into 72 hrs. The tickets were purchased for Rs. 41,800/-, being my husband retired and both o[censored]s senior citizens, I am escalating this matter to get my cash back which is legally due to me. I don't want that other consumers should suffer like me by their illegal and monopalistic trade practices.
                              They did the same thing to me for international flight ticket. Deal code was accepted for another offer on international flight and when I approached them for not getting cash back on stipulated time.                               They said system doesn't find your deal code. They are fraudsters. First they tried to manipulate me with the wrong information and when it didn’t work they simply refused to payback.

                                The following mail sent as complaints to makemytrip customer service support and timely action, but no action was taken;

                                Dear Manager,
                                This is a compliant cum highly disatisfied experience with your service
                                which is availed by me for the Goa trip with flight+hotel package.

                                Kindly consider this below mentioned message highly urgent and provide us
                                the solution urgent basis failing to which I will be very unhappy to post
                                in all social networking site including facebook and also take this
                                compliant to consumer forum for action;
                                1. As pe rthe itinery I was looking for Goa flights where Make mytrip
                                advised the packaged tour with flight+hotel in a three star propeerty.
                                2. So I decided to take this experience of Three start hotel package for 3N
                                + Round trip for my family
                                3. As per the makemytrip site page I found "three star property in Goa"
                                like Sea breeze group in which Sea breeze inn one of the property.
                                4. I booked the package and after that i have been experiencing terrible
                                moments in this hotel as below;
                                a. The hotel doesnt have any security gates in sea breeze inn
                                b. No restaurant in place
                                c. Very tiny small swimming pool and umcleaned
                                d. No room service, nimibar, no internet( even paid), no telephone, no
                                choice of breakfast, no room facility and even TV facility is meserably
                                poor with old TV set
                                e. No place to seat in lobby and also not any space to have rest other
                                than room which is not having any facility except beds/

                                So post this observation in recommended "Three star hotel by makemytrip" I
                                asked reservation staff to talk to Makemytrip to change my hotel to one
                                actual three star facility and the staff connected to their Sea breeze
                                grmanager and the lady told that we dontt have above facility but we can
                                change to another hotel Sea Breeze Candolim which has restaurant.

                                After that I talked to makemytrip customer executive and requested to
                                change my hotel to Windsor bay which is three star property having all the
                                facility and also told that the sea breeze inn is not a secured place to
                                stay for us as well as my kid unsafe.
                                But even after 30 mins request and giving correct feedback she did not take
                                up any measure and ultimately i have been transfered to the Sea breeze
                                candolim which is again the same set up with one restaurant and one
                                security guard in place.

                                5. The facility in Sea breeze Candolim is nothing and some of the issues as
                                below;
                                a. The hotel doesnt have one security gates in sea breeze inn
                                b.restaurant in place and started today evening and one client asking tea
                                for 1 hr and left without being served
                                c. No room service, nimibar, no internet( even paid), no telephone, no
                                choice of breakfast, no room facility and even TV facility is meserably
                                poor with old TV set and switches are opposite etc
                                d. The serice guy told they dont have blanket and they cant change
                                towels for nest three days. They dont provide any water bottle even for the
                                guest and there is no water jug even kept. No facility for tea maker in
                                room even

                                So with above experience in " Three star package " I felt completely
                                cheated by makemytrip and not only that I am feeling unsecure in this
                                accomodation with my kid with absolute no facility in hotels recommended by
                                you as three star facility.
                                Even the hotel cant be recommended any start but similar to homestay as no
                                facility is extended by the hotel.


                                Since I have taken three days package, please look into the matter and
                                provide me the ready made solution for this by 25th Oct-2012 so that I can
                                be shifted to good actual three star facility in any part of Goa like
                                Windsor Bay hotel with facility or else return my money of whole package
                                for this kind of mismanagemnet and unapproppriate information by your site
                                and said package
                                .
                                One more fact that because of the issue I lost whole day in this getting
                                one accommodation after paying you in advance which need to be compensated.

                                Kindly do the urgent action and send me update by 25th Oct-12 morning by 10
                                AM.
                                Faling to do any solution to my complaint , i will take appropriate actions
                                for your misconduct and providing us the unappropriate information as this
                                can be dangerous at time in terms of security for any family.

                                Thanks for the message.

                                Let me tell you that even after making such huge expense we feel that we are just staying like ordinary common people whith bare minimum facility.

                                My family is going thru terrible time and also let me tell you other e xperience in hotel;
                                1. The hotel serves morning breakfast only bread and omlete and also with rotten butter. When aksed for vegetarian breakfast they said they don't have and gave pieces of rotten banana.
                                2. The bathroom doesn't have hot water provision 24hr as well as no facility for regulating in wash basin, so couple of times my kid hands got burnt
                                3. Room is have continuous seepage from top in bathroom

                                4. No cleaning or change of bed and no tea facility goven

                                5. We. Dropped one baggage which was also lost in 30 mins in hotel premise.


                                So with this horrible experience I condemn your irreponssible behavior and this is highly unsecured place to stay with family and kids.
                                So I request you to act faster and work towards return my total compansation of package else I will ask for very high compensation against such unfair activity by your company.

                                  I booked a from Kolkata to Hyderabad for 4 members of my family:

                                  Myself, My Wife, one kid 5 years, one infant for Rs: 22,823. Due to some reason I had to cancel the trip. And guess what make my trip does not allow one to cancel tickets for Kids/Infants and I got a refund of 12, 200 only.

                                  Today also my account shows a valid ticket for form 5 years kid and 1 year infant. after nearly 100 calls I was able to reach the customer care but they just stuck to "Sorry" our policy we do not refund / cancel travel dates for kids/infants.

                                  These Cheats should be sued for blatantly cheating customers. Including the ticket details below which shows my two kids still on the ticket......Amazing that people like these still do business.... CROOKS, CHEATS, PATHETIC

                                    This complaint is against one of the very know travel agent "Make My Trip" in which I booked the BUS ticket From Mumbai to Indore for November 4th, 2012. The boarding time mentioned on the ticket is 10:00 PM from Teen Hath Naka, Thane and the actual time bus left from the boarding point was at 8:00 PM i.e Two hrs before the time mentioned in the ticket. At 7:50 PM, I received a call from Royal star people, saying that bus is already standing at Teen Hath Naka, Thane and About leave in 5 Minutes.

                                      I booked an online combo offer(Airlines ticket+Hotel stay) for a travel from Hyderbad to Patna and return for 3 (adult) passengers with 'Makemytrip.com'. The total cost amounted to Rs 49,529.00/- date of booking the ticket was Oct21, date of travell was Nov03 , a stay at Patna in the Hotel for ~40 Hrs and travell back on Nov05th,2012. I payed the charges using ICICI Debit card via 'Netbanking'.In the ticket issued(attached) it was clearly mentioned that the cancellation fees/penalty will be Rs. 1000 + Rs. 250 per passenger and not 'per sector'(they call every airport the airplane touches as a sector). When i decided to cancell my trip much ahead of the travel date, they(makemytrip) declared that the cancellation fees would be 'per passenger , per sector' , and that the cancellation amount on ticket alone would be Rs 11250/-. Confirming my cancellation they returned an amount of only Rs 36,756.00/-. So they have deducted an amount of Rs 12773/- in total (considering Hyderbad , Delhi and Patna each as one sector; this includes Rs1523/- as cancellation on Hotel booking possibly as well which also is much ahead of 10% of Rs~6000=Rs600/-). They should have deducted Rs 3750-/ +10% of Hotel Booking charges as mentioned rather deducting three times more than what was mentioned in the issued ticket/policy) . Once i argued on the subject post cancellation request , they issued me another ticket that included this factor- 'per sector'. Intent was only to showcase a changed policy, post my cancellation request and charge more cancellation fees. When i intimated them that I would go for a judicial settlement and that i would caution the public on the evil designs they have, they kept on insisting on their stand and finally a meagre amount per their settlement has trickled into my bank account.I have ALL the mail communication(with correct timelines) which i can share once the case opens. I am ready to abide by their policies but not with their cunnningness which has robbed me of a sizeable amount. Please consider my case as i am knocking the doors of judiciary, seeking justice.                                         I booked my domestiic flight under ICICI/makemytrip promotion code"ICICIFEST12" for Rs 500/- cash back booking ID: NF[protected] using my icici credit card . After 3 week i checked for my cash back make my trip support person say you are not eligible because this offer is for netbanking user only not credit card. I took screenshot from icici bank offer zone where clearly mentioned that offer is for all netbanking/debitcard/credit card users and sent the same. Now they said this is icici mistake they displayed wrong info.

                                        ICICI Bank — False Promotions and promises

                                        All the promotions run ICICI Bank to promote their Credit cards and its usage are false and I strongly advise not to fall in their traps.

                                        They will keep promising and advertising very enticing promotions but having fulfilled the criteria set for being eligible for the gifts or cash back offers, they will keep denying it to you for one reason or other, some of them very stupid and senseless.

                                        Recently they had launched a promotion where they had promised a Pen Drive for spending 15, 000 or 25, 000 on your Credit Card in a quarter.

                                        Even after having spent much more than the amount and many reminders over the phone or email, there is still no sight of it!!!

                                        Not that it makes much of difference but just tells one how committed they are towards making their customers happy.

                                        Also, this is not the isolated case. They have earlier also refused many promotional redemptions on silly technical reasons.

                                        So suggest beware of falling into their Credit Card promotion traps!!!

                                        ICICI Credit Card — Bogus companies being promoted by ICICI

                                        Please do not be tempted to buy all products advertised through ICICI pamphlets you receive along with your ICICI Credit Card Statement every month. There are so many bogus companies and companies who sell below standard products. One such company is AVA Merchandising. Never ever buy any product from them. You will be trapped!! Go to any forum and search for AVA to find out why. I still can't figure out why ICICI is associating with these type of ill reputed merchants. For public awareness.
