I booked International flights for my husband and myself on 8th september 2012 using ICICI Bank Credit Card for travel( onward journey on 16th oct. after midnight)Bangalore-Bangkok & Bangkok-Phuket(continuous) & Return on 21st oct. from Phuket-Bangkok and from Bangkok-Bangalore on 24th oct.2012 on www.makemytrip.com but I hadn't received the 7% cash back till yet which I was supposed to get. My MakeMyTrip Booking ID is N[protected]. Its more than two months have already passed.I called them also on phone on 15/10/2012 and many emails have been sent to them. I get the reply that the matter has been sent to concerned team and it will be escalated into 72 hrs. The tickets were purchased for Rs. 41,800/-, being my husband retired and both o[censored]s senior citizens, I am escalating this matter to get my cash back which is legally due to me. I don't want that other consumers should suffer like me by their illegal and monopalistic trade practices.
They did the same thing to me for international flight ticket. Deal code was accepted for another offer on international flight and when I approached them for not getting cash back on stipulated time. I was misinformed first about Deal Code being applicable only for domestic flight. When I showed them the link: http://www.icicibank.com/online-services/offer-zone/MakeMyTripSpecialDeals.html

They said system doesn't find your deal code. They are fraudsters. First they tried to manipulate me with the wrong information and when it didn’t work they simply refused to payback.
Clearly MMT treat their customers STUPID and try to get away with lousy, MISLEADING information.

NEVER go for makemytrip. You will REGRET big time!!!

    The following mail sent as complaints to makemytrip customer service support and timely action, but no action was taken;

    Dear Manager,
    This is a compliant cum highly disatisfied experience with your service
    which is availed by me for the Goa trip with flight+hotel package.

    Kindly consider this below mentioned message highly urgent and provide us
    the solution urgent basis failing to which I will be very unhappy to post
    in all social networking site including facebook and also take this
    compliant to consumer forum for action;
    1. As pe rthe itinery I was looking for Goa flights where Make mytrip
    advised the packaged tour with flight+hotel in a three star propeerty.
    2. So I decided to take this experience of Three start hotel package for 3N
    + Round trip for my family
    3. As per the makemytrip site page I found "three star property in Goa"
    like Sea breeze group in which Sea breeze inn one of the property.
    4. I booked the package and after that i have been experiencing terrible
    moments in this hotel as below;
    a. The hotel doesnt have any security gates in sea breeze inn
    b. No restaurant in place
    c. Very tiny small swimming pool and umcleaned
    d. No room service, nimibar, no internet( even paid), no telephone, no
    choice of breakfast, no room facility and even TV facility is meserably
    poor with old TV set
    e. No place to seat in lobby and also not any space to have rest other
    than room which is not having any facility except beds/

    So post this observation in recommended "Three star hotel by makemytrip" I
    asked reservation staff to talk to Makemytrip to change my hotel to one
    actual three star facility and the staff connected to their Sea breeze
    grmanager and the lady told that we dontt have above facility but we can
    change to another hotel Sea Breeze Candolim which has restaurant.

    After that I talked to makemytrip customer executive and requested to
    change my hotel to Windsor bay which is three star property having all the
    facility and also told that the sea breeze inn is not a secured place to
    stay for us as well as my kid unsafe.
    But even after 30 mins request and giving correct feedback she did not take
    up any measure and ultimately i have been transfered to the Sea breeze
    candolim which is again the same set up with one restaurant and one
    security guard in place.

    5. The facility in Sea breeze Candolim is nothing and some of the issues as
    below;
    a. The hotel doesnt have one security gates in sea breeze inn
    b.restaurant in place and started today evening and one client asking tea
    for 1 hr and left without being served
    c. No room service, nimibar, no internet( even paid), no telephone, no
    choice of breakfast, no room facility and even TV facility is meserably
    poor with old TV set and switches are opposite etc
    d. The serice guy told they dont have blanket and they cant change
    towels for nest three days. They dont provide any water bottle even for the
    guest and there is no water jug even kept. No facility for tea maker in
    room even

    So with above experience in " Three star package " I felt completely
    cheated by makemytrip and not only that I am feeling unsecure in this
    accomodation with my kid with absolute no facility in hotels recommended by
    you as three star facility.
    Even the hotel cant be recommended any start but similar to homestay as no
    facility is extended by the hotel.


    Since I have taken three days package, please look into the matter and
    provide me the ready made solution for this by 25th Oct-2012 so that I can
    be shifted to good actual three star facility in any part of Goa like
    Windsor Bay hotel with facility or else return my money of whole package
    for this kind of mismanagemnet and unapproppriate information by your site
    and said package
    .
    One more fact that because of the issue I lost whole day in this getting
    one accommodation after paying you in advance which need to be compensated.

    Kindly do the urgent action and send me update by 25th Oct-12 morning by 10
    AM.
    Faling to do any solution to my complaint , i will take appropriate actions
    for your misconduct and providing us the unappropriate information as this
    can be dangerous at time in terms of security for any family.

    Thanks for the message.

    Let me tell you that even after making such huge expense we feel that we are just staying like ordinary common people whith bare minimum facility.

    My family is going thru terrible time and also let me tell you other e xperience in hotel;
    1. The hotel serves morning breakfast only bread and omlete and also with rotten butter. When aksed for vegetarian breakfast they said they don't have and gave pieces of rotten banana.
    2. The bathroom doesn't have hot water provision 24hr as well as no facility for regulating in wash basin, so couple of times my kid hands got burnt
    3. Room is have continuous seepage from top in bathroom

    4. No cleaning or change of bed and no tea facility goven

    5. We. Dropped one baggage which was also lost in 30 mins in hotel premise.


    So with this horrible experience I condemn your irreponssible behavior and this is highly unsecured place to stay with family and kids.
    So I request you to act faster and work towards return my total compansation of package else I will ask for very high compensation against such unfair activity by your company.

      I booked a from Kolkata to Hyderabad for 4 members of my family:

      Myself, My Wife, one kid 5 years, one infant for Rs: 22,823. Due to some reason I had to cancel the trip. And guess what make my trip does not allow one to cancel tickets for Kids/Infants and I got a refund of 12, 200 only.

      Today also my account shows a valid ticket for form 5 years kid and 1 year infant. after nearly 100 calls I was able to reach the customer care but they just stuck to "Sorry" our policy we do not refund / cancel travel dates for kids/infants.

      These Cheats should be sued for blatantly cheating customers. Including the ticket details below which shows my two kids still on the ticket......Amazing that people like these still do business.... CROOKS, CHEATS, PATHETIC

        This complaint is against one of the very know travel agent "Make My Trip" in which I booked the BUS ticket From Mumbai to Indore for November 4th, 2012. The boarding time mentioned on the ticket is 10:00 PM from Teen Hath Naka, Thane and the actual time bus left from the boarding point was at 8:00 PM i.e Two hrs before the time mentioned in the ticket. At 7:50 PM, I received a call from Royal star people, saying that bus is already standing at Teen Hath Naka, Thane and About leave in 5 Minutes.

          I booked an online combo offer(Airlines ticket+Hotel stay) for a travel from Hyderbad to Patna and return for 3 (adult) passengers with 'Makemytrip.com'. The total cost amounted to Rs 49,529.00/- date of booking the ticket was Oct21, date of travell was Nov03 , a stay at Patna in the Hotel for ~40 Hrs and travell back on Nov05th,2012. I payed the charges using ICICI Debit card via 'Netbanking'.In the ticket issued(attached) it was clearly mentioned that the cancellation fees/penalty will be Rs. 1000 + Rs. 250 per passenger and not 'per sector'(they call every airport the airplane touches as a sector). When i decided to cancell my trip much ahead of the travel date, they(makemytrip) declared that the cancellation fees would be 'per passenger , per sector' , and that the cancellation amount on ticket alone would be Rs 11250/-. Confirming my cancellation they returned an amount of only Rs 36,756.00/-. So they have deducted an amount of Rs 12773/- in total (considering Hyderbad , Delhi and Patna each as one sector; this includes Rs1523/- as cancellation on Hotel booking possibly as well which also is much ahead of 10% of Rs~6000=Rs600/-). They should have deducted Rs 3750-/ +10% of Hotel Booking charges as mentioned rather deducting three times more than what was mentioned in the issued ticket/policy) . Once i argued on the subject post cancellation request , they issued me another ticket that included this factor- 'per sector'. Intent was only to showcase a changed policy, post my cancellation request and charge more cancellation fees. When i intimated them that I would go for a judicial settlement and that i would caution the public on the evil designs they have, they kept on insisting on their stand and finally a meagre amount per their settlement has trickled into my bank account.I have ALL the mail communication(with correct timelines) which i can share once the case opens. I am ready to abide by their policies but not with their cunnningness which has robbed me of a sizeable amount. Please consider my case as i am knocking the doors of judiciary, seeking justice.             Sir,
            I booked my domestiic flight under ICICI/makemytrip promotion code"ICICIFEST12" for Rs 500/- cash back booking ID: NF[protected] using my icici credit card . After 3 week i checked for my cash back make my trip support person say you are not eligible because this offer is for netbanking user only not credit card. I took screenshot from icici bank offer zone where clearly mentioned that offer is for all netbanking/debitcard/credit card users and sent the same. Now they said this is icici mistake they displayed wrong info.

            Even make my trip validated promo code at the time of booking and they dont have any information term & condition on their website.

            So seems chetaing with customers. never go wiith cheaters... Please take action against such cheaters.

            ICICI Bank — False Promotions and promises

            All the promotions run ICICI Bank to promote their Credit cards and its usage are false and I strongly advise not to fall in their traps.

            They will keep promising and advertising very enticing promotions but having fulfilled the criteria set for being eligible for the gifts or cash back offers, they will keep denying it to you for one reason or other, some of them very stupid and senseless.

            Recently they had launched a promotion where they had promised a Pen Drive for spending 15, 000 or 25, 000 on your Credit Card in a quarter.

            Even after having spent much more than the amount and many reminders over the phone or email, there is still no sight of it!!!

            Not that it makes much of difference but just tells one how committed they are towards making their customers happy.

            Also, this is not the isolated case. They have earlier also refused many promotional redemptions on silly technical reasons.

            So suggest beware of falling into their Credit Card promotion traps!!!

            ICICI Credit Card — Bogus companies being promoted by ICICI

            Please do not be tempted to buy all products advertised through ICICI pamphlets you receive along with your ICICI Credit Card Statement every month. There are so many bogus companies and companies who sell below standard products. One such company is AVA Merchandising. Never ever buy any product from them. You will be trapped!! Go to any forum and search for AVA to find out why. I still can't figure out why ICICI is associating with these type of ill reputed merchants. For public awareness.

              Sir/Madam,
              I recently cancelled my e-ticket booked from www.makemytrip.com. The ticket was for Rs.3243 and the cancellation charge was Rs.1250. So, the refund amount should have been Rs.1993 but on the refund invoice, it was printed as Rs.1593.
              I tried calling make my trip several times but I was not able to get in touch with its customer service. Moreover, this error should not have happened as it is a matter of simple subtraction and I imagine that the computer software used by makemytrip would not make this error. There must be several customers who do not check the refund amount.

              I have attached a screenshot of the refund invoice received by me from makemytrip which clearly shows the error made my them.
              You are requested to resolve my problem and allow me the refund of Rs.1993.00 which I am entitled to.

              I had booked an Indigo Airlines Ticket from MakemyTrip.com on 25th April 2010, Booking Id[protected]. PNR # - Y4H3DG. Departure timing 25th April 2010, 18:20. Ticket cost Rs 8392.

              On the same day at around 12 noon, I requested MakeMyTrip to cancel the ticket. MakeMyTrip representative confirmed that only Rs 1000 will be deducted as cancellation charge and the rest will be refunded. I gave them confirmation for cancellation.

              To my surprise only Rs 120 was refunded. On enquiry, I was told that the amount could not be refunded as the ticket was cancelled in less than 6 hrs before flight departure. They refused ANY FURTHER REFUNDS.

              First of all, I had made the request before 6 hrs to departure.
              Secondly, Indigo Airlines confirmed to me that my ticket was NEVER CANCELLED by MakeMyTrip.
              Third Point is that MakeMyTrip portal reflects that my cancellation date is 27th April 2010. I requested for cancellation on 25th April 2010 and never contacted MakeMyTrip on 27th April 2010.

              Please Help. It's Hard Earned Money.

              Make My Trip — Refund on Cancelled Ticket

              My ticket got cancelled on 29th Aug'2009 and since then I have been continuously following for the refund.

              The Jet flight didnt fly due to their pilot's strike.
              I was informed by Jet that I an eligible for full refund.They stamped the cancelled tkt for full refund.
              Since then, I've communicated over 30 emails with makemytrip with no satisfactory reply.
              First they email apologizing for the delay; then some Preeti calls/writes that pmt is on the process; then they talk about certain deductions; then they ask for documents as if they dont have it; then they disappear . Now when I call at call-centre after waiting for half an hour;their representative says that its an old matter and doesnt reflect in the computer and a senior representative will call me personally.
              Such pity acts by these companies !!

              If Makemytrip want donations, they should ask for it. We will charity more money.
              Atleast these companies should not do frauds for such petty amounts.
              I think they should be taught a lesson from Consumer Forum. Their licenses should be cancelled.

              Is it the way you guys calm the agitated situation. Eventually you dont pay !!

                i was denied accommodation in a hotel in goa on the 21st oct against a confirmed hotel voucher bearing idNH[protected] Although the amount was refunded i hold MAKEMYTRIP responsible for the mental agony and embarrassment i had to undergo .i would like to request people with similar bitter experience to join and help me in my endeavor to teach MAKEMYTRIP a lesson by legal means

                  Dear Team,

                  This is regarding flight booking : NF[protected] done through makemytrip.com on 29th of october. I booked the flight at 1:00 PM for which I got the confirmation mail from makemytrip at 1:10 PM. However I did not get the E-Ticket which should be delieverd within 30 minutes of ticket booking. After waiting for more than 1 hour, I called up the makemytrip.com. however they culd not help and said to wait for 24 hours before getting any status on the ticket. I had to go on 1st of november and since i was unsure of whether the ticket was booked or not, i went ahead and booked another ticket.

                  After 3.5 hours of booking with makemytrip I got my ticket. However now i want to cancel this ticket as i already booked another ticket because i was unsure whether this ticket was booked or not. But the makemytrip guys are chargin me penalty of 1250 rupees as cancellation fee. my concern here sir, is that it was company's fault they did not generate the tiket in the said time window of 30 minutes , the again when i called customer care they could not provide any satusfactory response. this is a clear case of bad service and on top of that they are implying the penalty on me. the comapany should born the penalty as it was a fault at their side and caused me a great deal o[censored]nconfort

                    I had made this booking with ICICI offer of 500 cash back (ICICIFEST12). When I called after the booking, I was told that it would take 10 days. It has been more than 10 days but I still don't see the cash back. I then wrote to the customer care and they replied that the cash back is not available because as per the terms, the payment should have been through net banking and not via ICICI credit card. This is laughable because as per the terms, payment CAN be made by either net banking or credit card or debit card.                     They now claim that it was a mistake but still refusing to give the cash back. A quick search on internet reveals that they have been engaging in such practice frequently.

                    Hi,

                    I did a hotel booking (MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NH[protected]. I was eligible for a deal which entitles a cashback for a subsequent booking. I made a rail booking (MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NR[protected] and provided my hotel booking ID as a deal code in my rail booking.

                    Till date I have not received any cashback. I have emailed the customer care (Reference :[protected] and thought the auto response indicated that I would get a response in 3 working days, I have not heard from MMT so far.

                    I called the customer care and they told me that it is not valid for a Rail booking. But the website says that the cashback can be availed even while a rail booking is made

                    From the website( http://www.makemytrip.com/promotion/includes/Hotelstay-T&Cs_04042012.html ) ":-

                    "What is the offer?

                    Book any hotel in India with MakeMyTrip and get cash back on your subsequent booking within three months of this (hotel) booking as per the chart given below. The cash back is valid on booking any of the following: domestic flights, international flights, bus, domestic holidays, international holidays, hotels and rail."

                    I expect someone from MMT to clarify
                    1) Am I not eligible for cashback that you promised as per your website ? If so why?

                    2) why does your customer care say that it is not valid on a rail booking, when your website says so?

                    Please clarify.

Deal code was accepted for another offer on international flight and when I approached them for not getting cash back on stipulated time.                     They said system does not find your deal code. They are fraudsters. First they tried to manipulate me with the wrong information and when it didn’t work they simply refused to payback.
                    Clearly MMT treat their customers STUPID and try to get away with lousy, MISLEADING information.

                    NEVER go for makemytrip. You will REGRET big time!!!

                    I had made this booking with HDFC offer of 25%cash back on basefare (HDFCIFL). When I didn't receive the cash back after 20 days . I then wrote to the customer care and they replied that the cash back is not available because as per the terms, you haven't used the deal code in the promo section .
                    They now claim that I haven't used the deal code for which I won't get any refund . I have used the deal code and also used my hdfc debit card for the payment. They have cheated many people and I am one of them

                    Seriously NEVER go for makemytrip. You will REGRET big time!!!

                      I filed TDR for makemytrip.com booking ID — NR[protected]PNR:[protected]). Two tickets were in RAC and two were in waiting list. The TDR was filed for all the tickets even before the train had started. This was on June 01,2012.

                      Hyd-Tirupathi ,4 tickets total amount — 4300Rs, travel date- June 01,2012

                      Today it’s 15-Oct,2012. It has been 140 days since the TDR was filed. I am still awaiting the refund on my creditcard.

                      I must called their customer service no atleast 30 times and everytime I was told I would be called back within the following 72hrs. I was never ever called back.

                      10 days ago I had an argument with a person named Atish Bhatia. and he sent me an email saying I would get 50% of the total amount within 12 working days following 19-Sep-2012. I never received any amount.

                      The worst part is there was refund of 538Rs on my creditcard on 17-Sep-2012 from makemytrip.com, yet none of them has a clue where it came from or why.

                      I contacted railways for the refund status for this pnr and was told TDR was never filed. It looks like Makemytrip.com has botched up tdr and trying to fob me off forever.

                      I feel legal recourse is the only option as it seems makemytrip.com has no interest in refunding my money. Bloody cheats!

                      Make My Trip — Not refunded my money after 10 days of cancellation

                      Before 10 days I have cancelled my booking id(NP[protected] but still not reflecting in my account.I have called up 50 times ,no body is responding,they hanged me on phone and then discconect.I have been frustated through this process.For the information,I have already sent my recent bank statement to make my trip.Kindly resolve my problem.
                      I got the same status on 23rd december but did not get amount credited in my account.I have visited the make my trip CP branch on 31st and they have given me word that my amount will be credited on 4th jan maximum.Every time you need one week to resolve every problem and after that you need again one week and so on.The bottom line is that my work work is not resolved yet.

                        I booked my bus ticket at makemytrip.com. My travel date was 13th October 2012. When I contacted bus operator for my boarding point & time, they told me that your ticket was not booked. I have the confirm ticket from makemytrip which is attached for ready reference. Then I contacted makemytrip for the same issue so they told me that because of technical error it was happened but your ticket is confirmed in non-ac bus instead of AC bus and was offering me Rs. 100/- gift voucher for their technical error which was accepted by me.

                        When I reached at my boarding point before 20 minutes of my bus departure time, Bus operator told me that makemytrip has canceled your ticket. I was shocked when I heard that. It was ridiculous. Makemytrip has canceled my ticket without informing me. I had called makemytrip at same time, they told me that bus operator has cancelled the bus. But I was traveling by the same bus by purchasing ticket from bus operator.

                        I cant believe that makemytrip such a big name in online booking had done that kind of things to me.

                        I really need to know why it was happened and what should i do for the same?

                          I conatcted Makemytrip for Goa package from Chandigarh, received mail showing package with flights from Delhi. I again asked for Chandigarh to Goa and return flights through mail and telephone, but they insisted there's no option available and asked me to confirm package and book Chandigarh to Delhi & return flights seperately. I confirmed deal for Rs.98000 and now Chd to Delhi & return flights will cost me around Rs.30000, thus taking my package to Rs.128000. Now, after paying 50% advance, I came to know that there's one Indigo flight at approx the same time and with much less fare from Chandigarh to Goa. If I had booked this flight along with Hotel independently without their help, I would have done it in Rs.108000. Now, I'm feeling cheated as I'm losing Rs.20000 by getting a deal from Makemytrip, rather than getting any benefit from the deal.

                            Hi team,I was cheated by makemytrip.Com on 30th september I was cheated with makemytrip team member in their own chat room box with mr.Kapil chhaperwa,he was chatted with me arround 2 hours.I ask him a budget package of 10000.He has given me a package to kerala 2nights and 3 days with pick up and drop for a couple.I was satisfied with his chat and later I paid amount through sbi net banking and then I got vouchers in that I have seen there is no pickup and drop and later I called to mr.Kapil "no reply from him.And I called to call center executive,they promised me they will take action, you go for trip and we pay for transportation and they will take action to the person who booked my trip.Repeatedly iam talking to them but no response,iam unsatisfied to their package.I feel they are doing wrong promises while booking no guidelines and no commited promises,please help to have justice to me.

                              I canceled a flight from USA to India in June 2012 due to medical emergency. All hospital verification documents were supplied to Makemytrip, and I was told by numerous agents that the matter would be resolved and we would receive a full refund. I have since called at least 10 times, filed online complaints, but 5 months later, still no refund, despite continued promises. They are experts with delay tactics. I am now looking at legal alternatives.
                              Please go through the brochure/bills/receipts for any terms and conditions.You can send them a legal notice stating your grievance and for the refund. You have a very prima facie case against the Company. They will certainly start responding to you immediately. I am a lawyer. Please do not hesitate to call me.

                                I saw a group package for Thailand on MakemyTrip portal. I thought to enquire. The travel professional of MakeMyTrip whom I interacted with, she told me only 3 seats left on that particular date. I liked the package, so I trusted her words. She asked me to pay 10K as the advance. On the portal it was written that the package cost was 35700, but she asked for 36700. When I asked her the reason, she wasnt able to answer. I told her if she dont give me the package at the Site offer price, I wont book then. She then send me a payment URL where it was written that I have to pay Rs 34990 only. When I asked her about the amount, she said that is a technical difficulty, I should pay now, later they will change the total amount.

                                When I insisted to change the amount to 35700, they changed the amount. Then I paid 10000 as advance. As I never used makemytrip before, I asked her to send me the details about the flights etc. She said she would come back to me on the next day. That NEXT DAY never came. I called her number of times on the phone number she gave me. But she never picked up. I contacted customer care. They told me they would ask her to come back to me. But she never responded.

                                The payment URL they sent to me, nothing about the trip was mentioned there. There were no facility to cancel the trip even.

                                Then 1 month before the trip date, a man from makemytrip called me and told me, the cost of the tour would be 36700 and they will be altering the amount on my booking. When I asked the reason, he replied that my earlier travel specialist didnt know about the price etc. I found that they already increased the price by 1000 on my booking URL.

                                After few days, again another man from MakeMytrip sent me a mail where he wrote that my pending amount is Rs 35700, and I paid only rs 1000 as the advance. Just imagine the height o[censored]nprofessionalism and mistakes after mistakes. When I had written back to rectify the mistakes, he sent me a mail and called me up. When I asked him how many seats left on that day, he said 10 seats left. Just imagine the lies these representatives tell their customers to book the packages.

                                Now, I found that Bangkok is having severe flood, I sent them several mails, if they are postponing the trip and whether they can customize my package so that I can go on other date after the flood is over, they didnt even bother to respond on this. They just dont care. Because they have got Rs 10000 for their lies/mistakes. After all you have to work hard to tell lies to others.

                                When I wanted to cancel the booking, they are not responding.

                                  This is my story. Makemytrip completely ruined my well planned trip to Goa on last long weekend. Makemytrip should change the tag line to Memories Unlimited to Pathetic Trip.

                                  I had booked 5 tickets from Pune to Goa, dated 28-Sep-2012, with Ticket number[protected] on Makemytrip’s bus booking portal. The travel operator was Rainbow travels, swargate, Pune.

                                  On the date on travel(i.e 28-Sep-2012), I got a call from makemytrip customer care that my bus has been cancelled, and they are processing my refund(below mail trail with refund mail detail).

                                  The reason given to me was “the bus has been cancelled with mechanical / technical failure” and i was asked to make my own arrangement. It was really pathetic when makemytrip didn't take the responsibility and asked me to make the arrangement on the long weekend when not a single ticket was available in any travel.

                                  I told them, that how can they cancel the ticket on the travel date, and also, I requested for the alternate arrangement, but the customer care executive of makemytrip simply denied any service, and dropped my call.

                                  Later I called to the Bus Operator to find out the bus status, and visited his office also, he told me clearly that “the bus is scheduled on time, and my tickets are shown as confirmed”. I tried to clear them the makemytrip’s version of the cancellation, but they specifically told that bus is on time, and they cannot book my ticket again, as my ticket are showing “Confirmed” due to makemytrip’s booking.

                                  I reached the travel operators office to board my bus before reporting time, and got to know that makemytrip has cancelled my tickets, and booked 3 tickets out of my 5 tickets to another person.

                                  This is the worst service customer can expect.
                                  How can makemytrip cancel my ticket, without concrete reason?
                                  Why the alternate travel arrangement was not made?
                                  Why my ticket’s get cancelled, and booked by makemytrip only to another person?
                                  Why the wrong reason of cancellation given?

                                  Because of this pathetic service, I had to travel to Goa in a non-AC sitting bus, in worst travel scenario possible, as I had made the advance hotel, and return bookings.

                                  Who is responsible for this blunder?

                                  As you said,
                                  - the operator initially confirmed your status as 'confirmed'.
                                  - On the day of travel, your tickets were cancelled and re-booked by Makemytrip Only.
                                  This is FRAUD, this is not an example of irresponsible customer care but this is a clear case of Fraud and cheating.

                                  I would actually suggest you to share your experience on all social networking platforms and even on MMTs pages (if they have any!!!)
                                  so that people must not rely on these services blindly.

                                    This is regarding the International flight i booked on 11th August with Booking ID IN1208B08010 and paid the partial amount of Rs 32500 on that day and my tickets had been cancelled on 24th of September 2012, without my consent and cancellation charges had been deducted too. I made a complaint to makemytrip about the same on the same day and called and
                                    emailed them everyday after that. I had been assured that they will make a fair decision and everytime they said it will be resolved in 72 hours. I trusted their words and hoped that decision will be in my favour as i am very much
                                    sure , i had never cancelled my tickets. There are endless emails and calls exchanged with makemytrip and they said we will refund you the whole amount and will book your tickets for free. The executive that cancelled my tickets was navjot singh and they said they would be running the audit on the calls received by him.
                                    Atlast on 4th October , i had been made to hear a call for cancellation that was made from my end on 24th September, as told by MMT. That male person who cancelled my tickets, called makemytrip with the name of my wife and told every desired details and cancelled my tickets.

                                    The call was made from some haryana number ([protected]), that is not at all concerned to me. MMT executive told me its not their fault as anyone can call in the behalf of customer and can cancel the tickets. They said made the complaint against the person who made a fake call on the name of my wife to cancel the ticket. Why should i do this, i called at this number irrespetive around 2o0 times and nobody is picking up the call.Makemytrip has cancelled my tickets and harassed me to the maximum and cancelled my tickets and deducted the cancellation charges too.
                                    I had been preferring to book from makemytrip everytime and never expected such thing from this company.
                                    I want to file a case of fraud and harrasment as you people had really pissed me off and forced me to do this.

                                      I booked a 5 night/6 days holiday package from 27th Sep 2012 to 2nd Oct 2012 in Kashmir with "www.makemytrip.com". The package was " Captivating Kashmir (with flights)" (link - http://www.makemytrip.com/holidays-india/package?id=4524) and My Booking ID was "IN1209B10485". According to Package I should have got a 3 star hotel in Srinagar for two nights (30th Sep 2012 and 1st Oct 2012) but they gave me a 2 star hotel. I contacted there customer care soon after I checked in the hotel but the executive told me the hotel cannot be changed. She asked me to write an e-mail to customer care (even though I told her that there is no internet facility in the 2 star hotel and was also hard to found in the srinagar market). I still somehow managed to send an e-mail but received nothing more than assigned Reference ID[protected] for the issue. In the mail they asked for 48 hours to resolve the issue even though I clearly mentioned in the mail that I need immediate attention along with booking ID. I kept talking to their customer care executives next day who were just trying to pass the time and didn''t responded well. At 7 PM (1st Oct) I received an e-mail from them saying they have forwarded my query to related department and would take another 72 hours for resolving the issue. No one tried to understand that I was checking out from the hotel next morning. I am back to my home writing this complaint and there is no use of them contacting me now (I also haven''t received any call from their side till now). This is clear case of cheating. They spoiled my honeymoon.....the best time of any person''s life. Me and my wife were not able to sleep properly those 2 nights. They made us suffer even though we paid for the service.

                                      BEWARE OF THE CHEATS MAKEMYTRIP

                                      I really did not want to mark a star for them.
                                      Make my trip is a big time cheat.
                                      They booked NON REFUNDABLE tickets as refundable and are not ready to refund the money.
                                      When I booked the tickets it said refundable on their website, I also recieved a confirmation that the tickets are refundable. Once the tickets were booked and I had paid the money, the tickets I recieved as PDF from the airlines mentioned the tickets as nonrefundable.

                                      They are charging me around 50 percent of money as cancellation .

                                        i booked my flight from makemytrip and it was a round trip. It was showing abount of Rs 6855.00/- for the round trip. As it was a lowest fare i was getting so i booked that. I got confirmation from both indigo and makemytrip. But now they are asking for more Rs 6700.00 by telling it a system error. I cant more amount and they are saying taht if i dont give them full payment then my booking will be cancelled. now what to do and please reply for this as early as possible.
