[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

I booked Swift dezire on 13th oct 2008, but could not get the delivery so far.The commitments is always failed made by Dealer Subh Maruti Jabalpur.

Maruti Suzuki — Bad honesty of the salesperson & delay in delivery

we have purchased maruti A star ZXi from achal automobiles solapur . we had paid full amount on 7 january2009 we had placed an order for Healing green colour . we did not get the desired colour nor the car on time instead we received it after one and a haslf month in some colour (Silky silver). In a way they forced us and they never answered the phyone calls in a way we were worried as we had paid the full amount.
We were told the following things would be given free at the time of negotiations with Mr Suraj Khandalwal 1) matting dust flab biody coating . But the dust flab were not available at the time of delivery .But when we had gone for the first servicing we asked fpor mud flab He refused saying that he had not promised us .
when we were mentally harased for the colour Mr Divekar - sales manager gave us Reading lamp&stearing cover after begging us & promised to give us mud flab at the time of 1 st service and now they are refusing
Is it our mistake that we have bought a MARUTI SUZUKI CAR?

My ALTO LX No. UP 32 BJ 1060 purchased from T.S.Motors, Shahnazaf Road, Lucknow in February 2005 and Insured by National Insurance Co. under cashless NIC MARUTI Shield Scheme and renewed thereafter from time to timeand due for renewal on midnight of 11tht Feb 2009. My car met with an accident and was drove straaight to their Chhannilal Chauraha, Mahanagar but was refused to be taken for repairs by Shri Gaurav on flimsy grounds that we are unable to Logon which is likelyto continue till atleast 5th April 2009 and then directed to meet Mr. Dey at their Shahnazaf Road workshop and Mr. Dey also advised the same story which was not acceptable to me . Then Mr Dey advised to me to meet Shri S.N.Mishra Dev. Officer . Next day I took an appointment for 11 o'clock but appeared at 1.00 o'clock . Similarly on another day Mr Dey as well gave an appointment for 4.00 o'clock and slipped out of office till we lost hope.
I am a senior citizen as also ailing from a number of diseases such as Heart, Diabetes, Parkinsons and deserved a much better treatment witch was not given to me. I would suggest that this helpfull step may now be extended for cash concessions here and there.
Although my insurance was renewed under the same cashless schemem from year to year but this time was not done under the same scheme but was renewed under their usual scheme to jeoperdise my interest. My efforts to talk to various officials in Maruti Regional office, National Insurance Co. and T.S.Motors didnot materialised and my Car continues to be in the condition after accident. This is the treatment given to me and I am now left with no alternative but to file a case either in Consumer Court or in the civil court to safeguard my interests. I would be obliged if you kindly take some urgent steps as the Car is driven very sparingly and has covered just 8011 kms. in the period of four years. but the company does not care for all that. I would be too glad to get your help. Thanks.

delay of car delivery.
My name is parmjit singh I purchase anew maruti swift vdi from J.c.motors Amritsar.After seven months my car some damage due to road accident and I repair my car from an authorized service center of maruti m/s HANSON AUTOMOBILES AMRITSAR. They repair my car and replace all damage parts and delivered the car in February I test drive and it is ok now. After one month my car engine stop running then I contact HANSON AUTOMOBILE to solve the problem but the problem was not solved by them and they forward to JC MOTORS they find out that an electric wiring is not working and need to be replace and they replace it without warranty the cost of wiring is rs.7800/-.then I forward my complaint to maruti udyog ltd and Mr. .MITTER SHARMA of regional office asked that the car is accidental so it is not under warranty . my question is if wiring is damaged when accident then why my car running ok about one and half month after accidental repair.
In 1990s when Maruti was dominating & replacing 'Ambassador, / Fiat era' of the closed indian economy a similiar strategy for Gypsy was adopted.
Lean supply & great demand was created for some period.

To my surprise the looks of Gypsy and the prespective of Indian customer got carried away including mine.
But 5-10 years later in my organisation we used to purchase 4-5 Gypsies, Sumos & Mahendra's every year. I carefuly studied the preformance and found that it was worse among the three ( not even 50%, except for the fasionable brand look of the vehicle )

The Demand supply drama was a cheap & unethical act to hide limitations behind the looks.

I hope Dezire in not another such experiment.

It is very surprising that how can the dealer is allotting a single vehicle to more that 1 customer and collecting money on this behalf.

I went to one of your dealer DEWAR's GARRAGE LTD, 4 Council House St. Kolkata 01. on 24th for the query of Dzire VXI and they said that they have one ready black colour DZIRE with them and if I do the booking today they will allot that particular vehicle to me. I even confirmed twice with the team leader & executive they said that no need to worry just make the booking to now and they confirmed me the Ch No- 170969 & Eng No- 492328 after there allotment confirmation I made the payment of Rs 50000/- payment receipt number V/00836/09-10 dated 27th apr 09.
Till 3rd may i confirmed and they keep saying that nothing to worry its in stock as it is allotted to you.
But surprisingly on 4th may at 6.30pm i received the call that your allotment has been canceled and the car has gone for registration in another name.
This all happened and no one has intimated me nor taken permission from devar's side. when i asked the executive you have already allotted the car and given me the Ch & Eng num after which only i made the payment he very rudely replied so hat we got he payment and we have given it to another party you have o wait for 3 weeks either Wait or do what ever you like. ( Is this the service for what customer pays of the brand maruti)

When next day on 5th i visited the devars showroom at 11am they kept me waiting till 3pm and some on or the other was passing my case to each other. Executive to teamleader, team leader to ASM, & ASM to SM but no solution Even they where trying to make me understand that i as not ale to make h payment so hey have dealoted my vehicle. I told them if that was the case the someone should have called me and have told me and I was ready with the full downpayment.
HOW CAN WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR INTIMATION THEY CAN DEALLOTTE THE VEHICLE FOR WHICH I HAVE ALREADY MADE THE PAYMENT AND THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE CH & ENG NUM TOO...?????

Latter I come to know that the party who has been given the vehicle applied for ALTO LXI on 24th paymentrecipt - V/00744/09-10 an on 5th only the party was given the same vehicle allot ed to me payment receipt V/01108/09-10.

HOW CAN THE SAME VEHICLE BE ALLOTTED TO 2 INDIVIDUALS AND THE AMOUNT IS COLLECTED FROM BOTH THE PARTY.
THIS IS CLEAR THAT IF ANY PARTY IS RE DY TO PAY SOME THING EXTRA TO THE DEVARS EXECUTIVE THEY AN TRANSFER THE ALLOTTED VEHICLE TO SOMEONE ELSE WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION OR PERMISSION TO THE PERSON WHO HAS ACTUALLY ALLOTTED THE VEHICLE.

Is MARUTI intensely promoting there dealers to do this as none of the company person is bothered what is happening and how customers are cheated and harassed.
When i asked the name of MD or GM i was asked to contact the number[protected]/0445 but when i tried to contact and told my issue and name the person who so ever picks he call either keep me on hold or disconnect the call.

So looking for some solution and action on the same issue otherwise the reputation and brand image of such prestigious company is on stake just because of few dealers.

CAN ANY ONE REPLY THAT WHY SHOULD I OPPT FOR MARUTI... AFTER THIS BITTER EXPERIENCE AND STILL NO SOLUTION REGARDING MY MONEY OR THE VEHICLE?????

I want to place a complaint on the booking done by me on 21st March 2009 for a Maruti Dzire vehicle. The booking was handled by Ms.Anbumozhi ([protected])who assured me that the delivery will be done with in a couple of months. Since it's about one and a half months from the booking date, I wanted to trace the status of my delivery. To my surprise Ms.Anbumozhi was not willing to take my call and suddenly I am receiving a call from one of your executives ( not shared the name) and was told the delivery might take even 6 months. This is highly discouraging and I am not sure if the deliveries are strictly handled as per first in - first out or by passing priorities. I also intend to place this feedback with Maruti suzuki for necessary investigation and response.

Hi,

I bought my Maruti 800 on 4th of June 2007 and got all the services done in RNS Motors Yeshwantpur. Recently some sound started from the front and found that two bolts were missing.

I have gone to RNS motors Hosur road, and they have requested me to go to the Yeswanthpur branch to get it covered under WARRANTY since it happened in less than 2 year and I have 3rd Year extended warranty.

On the way to Yeshwanthpur, one of the 2 bolts gone and it became so difficult to drive the car. I have called up on-road assistance and a technician came after 1hr. He has checked the vehicle and mentioned that I might have got an old stock vehicle.

I have to again call up RNS breakdown service and they were reluctant to come and pickup the vehicle. I have taken the vehicle to near by Maruti Service Center SURAKSHA and they have put one bolt to make the car in running condition.

I need your intervention on this case to get my issue rectified ASAP.

It is totally not acceptable that such damage happened because of delivery of a faulty vehicle without two major bolts.

I need to get the issue resolved in least time and I won't be able to drive the vehicle in the current condition.

I had booked the Maruti Swift Dzire vxi with Mandovi Motors pvt Ltd, Cox Town, Bangalore. and the likely date of delivery I got was 10 May 2009. I arranged all the money and called up the dealer couple of days before 10th May for the car. He said the car is ready and he can give me in a couple of days. The sales person Came to my office and took the full amount in the form of DD. A day later I got a call from the dealer and he told that me that he will be giving the car in a week’s time. I did not insist on them said yes for a week’s time.

It is now almost 50 days and I have paid full amount which has been cashed. My EMI is due but there is no sign of the car. Now when I called them they are said another 15 days more is needed in any case. I think this may go up further.

I am extremely disappointed by this dealer and he is blaming maruti Suzuki company for this delay. If this is true then I am sorry to say I may not like to buy this product. If this is the dealer who is taking the advantage then please check this.

In spite of paying the full amount and completing the waiting time I am yet to receive the car. I am facing a loss of 1 month interest on the full value of the car.

Please let me know what is to be done and when am I getting my vehicle.

I have a owener of Maruti Zen Estelo(UP-32-CE 1608). My car got break failure on 25.05.09 in the moring while i am comming to my office. Immediately i make an complain to your authorised service center at lucknow i.e.T.S.Motor near Channi Lal Churaha, Mahanagar, Lucknow. But rhe concern service center person failed to locate the exact fault of the vechile resulting i used to drive my car without repaired by the service center on my own risk, service center people just denied saying that better to come when actual fault appeared. I shocked to hear such an immatured reply from your service center people, it seems i would go to them after met with an sever accident due to break failure, then only they will repair my car. If anything is happend for non attend of my complain all losses will be born by the Maruti co.. for your ready reference i give here complain no.i.e.[protected] dated 25.05.09 at 11:30 A.M. complain lodged by Mr.Jitendra, again i talked on 26.05.09 with Mr. Nimesh but he told me that your complain will be attend after 3-4 days, my daily routin work suffers due to not use of car.

The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun has placed a order for one maruti suzuki Dezire Vxi on 29th of March 2009 and had even paid the full amount in advance eith Dee Dee Motors, Rajpur Road, Dehradun. Unfortunately we have not received our indented item yet. The Dealer keeps on assuring us that the model would be supplied in a weeks time. But nothing has happened yet. If there is any problem with the company selling us one suzuki Dezire Vxi, please intimate us so that we can look for other altenative. Our money is unnecessarily held with your dealer. Please reply immediately and address this complaint.

I am applied for a car loan and had booking with Popular Vehicles @Anna Nagar, as on 17th May 2009 after ensuring all the details (REF : BN # 1128, Doc # BR531 on 17th May 2009 Order Booking Form # 1410/14245). The sales executive Mr.Suresh came to my home and explained me all the details on Sunday Morning, also he has committed some interest rate (11.75, 12.5%) and 3 bank name (SBH, SBI & HDFC) for 7 years loan with 90% funding (I have written proof for this). But after booking (on the day evening) he has sent axis bank person for collecting loan papers with the interest rate of 15.75% for 5 yrs. In case, if 7yrs tenure then they will fund only up to 70% and interest rate will get increased, So I am not ready to take the commitment as much initial and month on month as EMI. So I have planned to go for a cancel. So I have informed to Mr.Suresh (Sales executive) as on 20th May 09 to collect the letter from me. Every day I am following him.

Due to this impatience I made a call to his office and complained about Mr.Suresh but the responsible lady told me that the sales executive (Mr .Suresh) manager will call me, but on the day nobody called me regarding this, finally the same executive call me and said, why you want to speak with my manager? You have to turn-up as a person to my office, to hand over the letter. After three weeks gone, he is saying this word; he can’t collect the letter from me, I need to submit at Anna Nagar office (I am Pregnant) he said to me very hardly on 8th June 2009.

I availed Loan with HDFC bank and taken Alto LXI on 5th June 2009 with Kivaraj Motors @ adyar. Vehicle # is TN -09 –BA -3100 in the name of Thripura Sundari N.

Due to the sales (Mr. Suresh) person wrong commitment, we are suffering. So kindly arrange the same sales person to collect the letter from my home and ask him to deliver the cheque at my new shifted home.

Kindly do the needful ASAP. If possible pay me the interest from his pocket.
