[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

My name is Rajinder kaur.I have booked the SWIFT DZIRE vdi (Metallic Silky Silver) on 10-02-10 at CHITTOSHO MOTOR C-39,PHASE-3,INDUSTRIAL AREA,MOHALI(PUNJAB)PHONE NO.[protected].I have paid Rs.50,000only Receipt No.8550.They gave me 3 to 3 n half month time for delivery of the CAR.
But till today your dealer is not co-opearting with us and not giving the correct information about the delivery date.
So please kindly take the needfull action and reply me as soon as possible.

I would like to inform you that i booked swift dzire VDI model (Silkey silver) in Amman cars ltd at Hosur, at the time (08.02.2010). They promise me to deliver the car in the month of March 10’ itself., When I booked the car i gave Rs.50, 000/- as a advance amount., After booking the car the rate was increased by Rs.40, 000/-. due to Excise duty, increase in Steel rate and Road Tax. . To this problem i am in the critical position to face it.

Hi, I have booked Dezire vdi on 16th Feb, 2010 at Sushila Automobiles, Ranchi in the name of capt. Arti Rani. At the time of booking dealer said that it will take 3 months. After 3 months when i enquired they said your booking has been transfered to Hindustan Auto Agency, Ramgarh, so get details from them.
I contacted Mr Shekhar of H.A.A.he told me the although your booking has been a tranfered booking so you have to wait for special allotment from Maruti Udyog Ltd. then only we can deliver your car.
Now WHAT IS MY FAULT? Pl. enquire the case and delivered my car without any further delay.

maruti is d worst
i have booked a maruti Dzire vdi on
8 march 2010 and till date its undelivered.
Initially i was assured dat the car will be delivered on 4 june by S.B. cars pvt lmtd -so called marutis authorized dealer but they have adopted an arrogant behaviour and said it wiill be on july now say dat they cannot deliver it before 15 august because car is not being manufactured !
what has made me more frustated is the fact that i can see the same vibrant new on the roads.
i wish you to help me out .Expecting an immediate reply.

Maruti Suzuki — Price Rise

The Maruti Suzuku has raised the prices of their product from August 2010. The price rise should not be made applicable to the customers who have booked their vehicles with Maruti Suzuki in last month. The customers otherwise would be put to suffer certain amount. The customer will pay, but they will be unhappy in theri mind. The other manufacturers also should keep this mind.

It appears that the company is NOT AT ALL CONCERNED REGARDING RELATIONS WITH CUSTOMER. Such a CALLOUS ATTITUDE of the dealer / company is not appreciable at all which results in doubts about the unfair dealings adopted by the dealers at their whims and fences regarding delivery of vehicle.

In my case even after repeated discussions with Maruti Customer care ( which i strongly feel act only as a complaint registring agency. Enquiry... but no customer care) no clue of any support / clarification in the issue...

I got my Maruti Swift- VXI booked thru' BERKELEY AUTOMOBILES LTD.- Chandigarh) on 10th June' 2010.The dealer informed and also gave in writing the max. Period of delivery of vehicle is 2 months. For the last fortnight, telephonic message regarding the delivery of my vehicle at in this connection., who bluntly gave the vague statement ( KUCH NAHI KAHE SAKTE KAB MELEGI) regarding the delivery of Vehicle. On my request by telephone the position of my booking, regarding the receipt of vehicle by the dealers as well as the delivery made against the booking, she again bluntly refused to give anything.

In this way company not only get the dis- pleasure of the customer but also it brings bad name to the reputed and automobile leader like Suzuki.

AND above this last month prices has been increased and dealer again bluntly stated that your booking don't hold good for any price agreements... with us???????

hope u will reply, because no one has given proper response in maruti till date. pls do the needful.

i own a maruthi swift car which is only one year old and it stopped running wen i was trvaelling from banglore.
i have toed the car and brought to my home service centre from wer i had buyed my car.
no its since one week passed i didnt got any possitive feedback from the dealer

i booked maruti swift dizare on the 7th of july 2010.on that time the sales representative and his head told me that the vehicle will delevered with in one month and ur case will come under the priority.and in the written advace agreement it will delver with in two months.now i contact the delar they are saying that we don't know when you get the vehicle.

I am 100%agree with your commends.Ihad very bitter experience from the Indus motors Kayamkulam Kerala where I booked a swift VDI 3 months back. They promised me to deliver the car within 2 months and got Rs10000/-from me for Advance.About 7days back they called me and told that my car is ready and asked me to remit the full amount.I took the DD and went to the dealer I had the worst experience in my life.The manage Mr Shibu told me that the car is sold to some one else as I was late.I asked him how he can do like that to a senior state officer like me.I am going to take legal action against them

Maruti Suzuki needs to give me answer as to why the engine failed. The failure could have taken away life of my wife and self in the heart of town, New Delhi.

The cause of Engine Failure has not been discerned. A performa invoice has been raised against me for Approx amount for Rs !.35 lakhs.

The agony and mental harrasment caused to me is most disturbing to me and my family.

The responce from Maruti Suzuki is more distressing. I have earlier owned Maruti 800. Now I also own a A-Star, purchased from Apra.

Maruti Suzuki needs to introspect the cause for failure of their Prime Varient Maruti Desire Suzuki or I need to disown Suzuki Cars.

You are requested to please fix up an audiance with MD Maruti Suzuki since the matter is not being given due heed.

Today we had a narrow escape while driving my car in heart of town in Delhi near Rajpath/Rafi Marg crossing due to a technical snag in engine of my car Swift Desire.

We had gone to Delhi from Gurgaon today. I had some work at Army HQs. By the time we reached Army HQs the lunch break had started, so we decided to finish some job at CP.

Around 1330 hrs we started for CP. Enroute to CP I first stopped at Vijay Chowk Red Light and then turned right on Raj Path. Just 200 meters away on Rajpath going toward India Gate I stopped at Rajpath/Rafi Marg crossing, from where I had to turn left. On Green light I started and turned left and I saw a Police Man who was trying to stop us. I wondered why, till I saw him making conjectures towards the rear of my Vehicle. Where I saw a thick trail of white smoke trailing us as a cloud. I turned the vehicle to left and stopped, this was next Police Station of Boat Club near Central Secretariate Metro Station. I switched off the ignition but the engine did not cut off. I asked Neeru to get out of car. The car engine kept on reving up.I was fearing Car exploding in to flames. I opened the bonnet but could not do any thing and felt help less. Some person came and removed the battery terminal but the engine kept on reving up at higher RPM.

Meanwhile I removed my Lap top and Brief Case from Car. Police cordoned of the car and was awaiting for Fire Brigade.

However after some time ther was sound of a blast from bonnet, coolent sipilled out and the front grill of car came out. Engine stopped. Oil splashed out from silencer in the rear. We all sighed a sign of relief. Fire Brigade also arrived.

The case hase been covered by Police Station Parliament house.

Neeru called up Gitanjali and she immediately started for the location from Gurgaon.

There after I called up Col Almadi, GM Apra Auto (India) Pvt Ltd, for help and evacuation of my car, since it is maintained by them from day one. He organised a Recovery Vehicle for it to be towed back to Apra, Gurgaon.The car is now with Apra, Mentors of my car.They will be inspecting the car in detail tomorrow and then inform Maruti Udhyog for opinion and reason for this technical failure.

My car has given me excellent service.
Maintained by Apra, I always graded Apra at the highest for Service.
It is two years old and has done 97000 km plus.
Totally Maintained By Apra. I never had complaints.
Fitness of my car was my life line for the project I was working for..
My first set of tyres did 85000 Kms.
Car is admitted on Job Card No JC 10028782 dated 01 Sep10 with Apra

I have not been able to decern the reason for this mishap, but I feel that this needs to be investigated and remedial actions taken by Maruti Udhyog in preventive maintance of their same Vehichle variants and relief given to me.This kind of technical snag should become a case study for Maruti Udhyog.

Damages to the car have yet to be ascertained.

May I also request you to analyse the incident and help me in over comming this shock.God has been Kind.

Today, I would also like to convay my gratitude to Delhi Police and Delhi Fire Services for their prompt support and co-operation on spot.

Maruti Suzuki — NOT SATISFIED WITH THE CAR

I HAVE PURCHASED ECCO IN JANUARY FROM THAT TIME I HAD NEVER SATISFIED
WITH THIS CAR.
FIRST OF ALL I HAD AN MAJOR PROBLEM IN MY ENGINE AND
AFTERTHAT I AM CONTINUSELY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE TYRES.
Now
I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH MY TYRES. THE TYRES OF MY CAR
COMPLETELY RUBBED OUT. THE INSIDE LAYER OF THE WHOLE TYRE EXC STEPNEY AREMAKING TROUBLE.
WHILE I DRIVE THE CAR.

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MARUTI THE CALER HAD ASKED ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM BUT SHE SAID TO ME SHE WILL CALL ME AFTER SOME TIME BUT I WAS WAITING FOR HER FOR THE TWO DAYS.
NOW I AM ATTACHING SOME PHOTOS OF THE TYRES.
SO REGARD MY COMPLAINT TAKE A GOOD
