[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

Above complaints are correct. I have booked swift Dezire vdi on 12/01/2011, and till today no assurance from dealer(Indus Motors, Cochin, Kerala), or maruti suzuki when the car will be delivered. Behaviour from dealer and manufacturer ar very bad. Customers are treated like beggers after booking. Verbal assurance 3.5 months, written commitment 6.5 months, todate 8 months passed. i am frustrated and if I go in person to their office any thing miserable will happen. Sylaja.P.OBF No.7369

New Swift Booking and No Delivery Promise
I have booked a swift petrol Vxi, under my mothers name, she is working in state bank of Mysore, Coimbatore. Myself working with Robert Bosch.
I had booked the car on 25th Dec, 2011, under the assurance that I'll get delivery in the first week of January. But later the sales rep informed me that he will give me a 2012 swift instead of the old for the same price but on or before 12th Janaury 2012.

I am now not getting any committed dates for the delivery of the car, whereas I had put a clause that I need the car before 12th of this month. He too assured the same, stating that he will deliver the car before 12th January.

I had choices of competitor companies (VW, Hyundai, Fiat) as well as other Suzuki dealers(ABT), but I chose your dealership due to the good values your concern has.

But now I'm terribly disappointed with this kind of response I'm getting.I have to undergo terrible torment and mental tension due to this.

I working in the automotive field know all kind of supply chain and logistics issues, but would appreciate if your people are honest with me.

I would appreciate if you would reply to this email and ask your concerned person to call. Please understand this, I am your customer and you are liable to serve me. I am not expecting an favor from you, instead I am expecting good service for the money I am paying you/

Northern Railways — overcharging & damages to vehicle

Dear Sir,

I had parked my scooter UP25AC/7678 eterno at Bareilly junction in the specified parking at 5.50 am on 29/02/2012, when i collected my vehicle after giving the token issued and Rs.14/- as parking charges i found that the new seat of the aforesaid to be badly damaged.When I took the complaint to the station master Mr. Verma, he refused to give the complaint book for making the required complaint. He also refused to let me know the parking charges applicable.

Requesting you to take necessary action against this harassment and treat this as application for the payment of the damages incurred.

All your comments are acceptable and it is valuable for the maruti. please wait for some time that the officials are asked for. After also facing the same problem just froward to take the necessary actions on the respective department and dealers.
I am an owner of swift dzire Ldi and was satisfied with its performance. And now after its completion of 3years and a run of around 68000 i though to buy one more car of maruti i.e. Ertiga. But i got a reson to reconsider my decision because i faced an unexpected problem in my dezire Ldi dueto which my car is not even geting starte and after complaining to maruti on road service center the executive was unable to cought the problem and suggested to take the car to the service station and after spending half of the day in the service station i got an answer that sir the problem is still unable to locate. Now my worry is about the thing that how can an unexpected or surprise problem can arrise in such a reliable brand car and who will be paying the cost of such repair. Insurance company, maruti company or entire burden will be left on me. If i would have to pay then what is the benefit of the reliablity. Kindly suggest me what to do and what not to do. Really what the dealers are doing gambling i don't know i am also the sufferer from maruti what our dealer of guntur jayalakshmi motors if you pay the total amount you will get in a short time i[censored] pay an advance amount you will take lot of time for delivery why these people are doing like this i don't know i have paid entire amount, how much interest they get from our amount and still its uncertainty in delivery.These tings i mean taking full payment for booking known to MARUTI. Think these may visit by Maruti if so please take proper action and give proper guide lines in booking otherwise you loose lot of customers especially due to dealers.

I am residing in Faridabad and I am working in Sales & Marketing and my daily travel is approx 100 K.M. I was going to Rothak for official work but suddenly my car has stopped running. I have called to customer care and the service guy has reached and told me car will have carried to service centre. I have submitted my car at “Jagmohan Maruti” service centre, Rothak on 6th Dec 2013. After Submitting my car no one is able to tell me when I will get my car. I have called so many times but no one is taking response for my call. They have told me that “I will confirm you who will pay for this fault” on Monday, Even my car in warranty period that I have purchased on 15th January 2012 and I service my car by authorized Maruti Suzuki Service centre, Regularly. I am facing a lot of problems without conveyance. I have taken leave from my office and I am not able to do any personal and professional work. So that my life is in trouble. I am mentally and economically harassed by Maruti Suzuki service centre. So please do the needful for same as soon as possible.

Still the saga continue. Earlier it was for diesel models and now for petrol models..
think of Mauti's high headedness if Hyundai / Volkswagen /Tata / M&M would not have been there.
also when dealer is helpless, maruti officials never came out and clarify what went wrong.
they are in a shell.
their mail ids are not disclosed.
For a concern of mine, their regional joker ( not manager) yet to call me,
Maruti claim that they always stand first in JDP customer satisfaction survey.
Entire world know that they take care of few customers & get high scores in so called J D Powder survey.
( many people may have noticed this differentiation of customers in Maruti workshops)

I will never buy a maruti suzuki product again in my life & i will influnce my relatives / friends not to buy a maruti product.
Company may be losing peanuts.
But i will move in my mission from now after getting cheated by Maruti.

its worst service...regretting for purchasing maruti car.

Dear folks pls avoid buying maruti cars and madovi motrs for service too. some beggars motivated me for getting maruti for good after sales service but now am paying for it. If i had gone some other cars like hyundai or ford, i could atleast enjoyed the features at the same cost of swift.
pls dont believe rumors like the after sales service abt the maruti...they are the blood suckers.
go for any car otherthan maruti...feel the diffrence in features.
