[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

I have booked Swift Dezire VXI on 25/07/09 but till now I have not received the delivery. I booked the car with 4 wheel world Chembur mumbai. Who has further book the car with fort point mahalakshmi. They commited me 1 and half month but they are still not clear about the delivery and blaming the company.
I booked Swift Dzire on 7th August 2009 with Sai Service at Goregaon, Mumbai by paying Rs. 50, 000 as booking amount. My precondition was quick delivery as I recently returned back from abroad and don't have any means of commutation. At the time of booking the sales executive committed to deliver the car by in 4 weeks. Now 7 weeks are over, still there is no sight of the car. On escalation to the manager he flatly refuses to accept that any such commitments were made. Usually business is based on verbal commitment and there is no proo[censored]sing which I can approach the authorities. I feeling helpless in this situation have no clue whom to approach for justice.

I got to know from reliable sources that dealers are taking the booking amount and earning interest on this money and then selling the car in black market at a premium price. Since its a festive season the market is hot.

Is there any law or authorities in this country to check such business malpractices and protect the consumer rights. This is only country where people have to run behind the dealers with money to buy a car.

i am facin the same problem, i have booked Dzire VXI in july, Dealer (fortpoint Mumbai)told me that it will take 45 day for car Delivery.On 4th of sept.i got a call from Fort point that i have been alloted the car and it will take 4-5 days to reach the CAR in mumbai.I have taken loan and deposited the money to fort point but still i do not have clue about My car, 14 days back they told me that it will take 2 weeks for delivery of my car, today i contacted them but dealer is not having any information about my car.I am really frustrated with fort point.

I am also facing the same problem when asked dealer they told that it's waiting period is more than 9 months.

I had instance of cross bookings and wrong delivery, misappropriationns, cheating and everything whatever i called, i complained to all possbile emails and contact numbers, maruthi do no care for customers, then why do you blame for dealers.

To all the maruti seekers(want to buy), it is very sad to say about the maruti car deliver.I booked a maruti Dezire VDI on 4th sept 2009 by paying 10, 000/- (advanced) to a maruti authorised showroom(western orissa) . They committed to deliver on 27th of the same month.But till now i have not get my car .when i am asking, i am getting the reply that there is some problem going on at the plant side.sometimes they are saying problem with the transport . when i am calling they are replying these types of problems to skip.Now I already loss the faith upon the maruti service. It is better go for another brand...

For heaven's sake ensure a comprehensive audit of the standard and quality of the customers' services provided at the service centre at Bhubaneswar .The frontline service workers need training on behavior and .attitude, They should learn the value of service and service assurance.Most of them have not learnt the basics of manners and courtesy, leave apart the art of service assurance.
Maruti should not forget that it is operating in a competitive msarket where its market share is going down every day

Maruti Udyog (Dezire Vxi- White colour) — Late in delivery

Dear Concern person,

I am a loyal customer of maruti car. At present I am using Maruti Zen Lxi DL8C K 0210.

As I am in a need of another car for my wife, I booked another car, Maruti Dezire Vxi, at Marketing Times Automobiles Pvt Ltd, on 03/09/2009 and also paid Rs 10,000/- as a token of booking for which I got a receipt , no 19713 dated 03/09/2009.

From here onwards my pain starts.

From this date onwards i started getting calls from different dealers that the desired car is available with a nominal premium, you cancel the booking and we will deliver you in a weeks time with a nominal premium on the desired model of the car.

And at this point of time I started feeling myself cheated.

In case if a dealer provides me the car with in a weeks time then why there is a waiting period!
all because of some extra profit in the name of premium?
Atleast its not the case with other companies.

All I know is that I am a customer with ready money and I want a car for my personal use so why somebody should take the advantage of earning extra in this competitive market when every company is trying to attract customers giving discounts.

All I want a car, MARUTI DEZIRE Vxi WHITE COLOUR.
Money is ready with me and i will take on cash down payment.

I will wait for a weeks time to somebody, get back to me from the company for the confirmation of the delivery of the car or i will go to search for some other options readyly available in the open market.

Maruti Suzuki — Unprofessional business practice

I recently went to pourchase a Wagon R from Maruti showrooms in Wetsern India(name of the garage, place etc can be supplied when required). After agreeing the price etc., the sales execuitve(name supplied if required) told me that I would have to pay an extra amount 0f 4000 Ruopees for the RTO for registration in addition to the normal registration charges. When challenged I was told this was normal in the case of NRIs and PIOs. When i advised her that my parents were born and brought up in India, that my wife was born and brought up in India that my father in law, a retired Group Captain of the Indian Air Force served in the second world war fighting for the country,the sales execuitve advised me after few days tha I would have to produce a letter from the immigartion department that they had no objection to my being in the state. I produced my PIO card which allows me entry withou visa and entitles me to stay any where in the Countrybut this was not acceptable to the sales person
I find this highly irregular and unprofessional. Is it a normal practice in India for the PIOs to to go through all this merely for a purchase of a car?

Maruti Swift ( dzire) — No refund money

Dear Sir,
Last months l booked one maruthiswift from AVG motors kottayam. l allredy submite Rs 50000 advance also. Then they are telling , some vehiles are penting ,so it will take more than one months. so afterone weeks l canceled my booking. Then they are refund only Rs 49000 only. Actuly booking charge only Rs 50. Why they are no refunding money.
my car has been there for 25 days but no result provided my cell phone no[protected]
