[Resolved]  Maruti Udyog Ltd — poor customer care

congratulations, to all the high ranking MBA"S employed by MARUTI UDYOG LTD for lureing customers to buy cars from MARUTI. Selling EXTENDED WARRANTY for 3to 4 YEARS for cars not capable of running for even one year.

Dear Sir,

i have booked the maruti all new estilo (VXI-Metallic silver) from our local dealer at nashik city M/s. Seva Automotive on 5th Sept.09. They have commited delivery for the same on 28th Sept.09, but due to shortage of vehicle they not able to give delivery (poor response). after they comitted same to give delivery by 1st week of Oct.09.Response was same, i am totaly getting frustest due to regular follow-up for such things. Now they are not giving the proper response. pl. help me regarding mentioned issue. If i didn't got the delivery till 15th of Oct.09, i will be swichover to Hyndai I10. pl. note & help.
Possitive respose will be appreciable.

this is not a complaint. i want some information. i have maruti 800 since 1996. iwant to sale it as i want a new car. my car registration no is WB 02D-3420. presently i am posted in mumbai. i am facing difficulty to sale the car in mumbai. Is there is any exchange offer available from maruti so that i can dispose my old car and i can purchase a new car at mumbai. your early guidance/solution in the matter is higly sought for.
We have purchased one maruti vdi swift having chasis no-445896 and engine no-1249908 through your dealer ODYSSEY MOTORS PVT. LTD., Angul (Orissa). The car did not start on 23 Oct.09. I registered the complaint on the same day to ODYSSEY. After checking the vehicle they replied that there is battery problem and need to be replaced. After one week of follow up with ODYSSEY motors, they are not able to replace me the battery.

Please take appropiate action in this regard.

My Car Maruti-800 is lying at Service Station for last 28 days.

The internals (sheet-1no., front glass, mirror, belt, taco meter etc.) of my car got damaged due to unknown source of fire. I went to Ganpati motors Supela, Bhilai, CHHATTISGARH and explain the problem to them. They agreed for repair of car on the basis of insurance claim. I submitted photo copy of Registration book, Driving license & Insurance.

After 10 days back they asked for one copy of FIR. I handed over original copy of FIR to them but till date the car is lying there for last 28 days and they are giving me an excuse of non availability of spare.



Can I expect a quick resolution to this problem !

I am siddhartha Mishra. HR, Birla sunlife insurance company Ltd. I have purchased a WagonR-VXI- OR-02-AW0098 on 31st December 2008 from Jyoti Motors, Bhubaneswar. I met an accident on 21st nov 2009 evening. i collided with a Indica, which was running infront of me suddenly braked so i dashed on the back of indica and a bike comming from my back side dashed. as a result my Front fender, LHS fender and back side of my WagonR got damaged.On 22nd Nov 2009 i gave my WagonR to Jyoti Motors Service station, Bhubaneswar. Till date from 22nd Nov 2009 nothing has been started yet. And i am not getting anybody accountable for it. I dont get a damn TAT for my WagonR discharge date. I had purchased the Car only for the sake of timely and better service that Maruti Provides but the practical picture doesnt match wiith it. Every day i approve car loan approval letters for my employees and suggest them to buy Maruti product but this is a practical example that i have got. Such type of activity is really giving a wrong perception to the positive image that i had. Please resolve my problem imediately.

Dear sir/ madam we have booked an alto at dalhoji kolkatta in the name of sumita chatterjee booking amount given on 23/10/09 Rs 5000(cheque) but executive Mr A.saha says give us some more amount to take the car then we gave 25000 Rs cash as per executive mr A Saha in dewas motors, dalhoji. as per excutive he comited to give this car before 7/11/09 but still we have not received the car so we request him please give us refund of this amount now he is not agree to give the refund even he doesn't pick our phone or not give us proper response we direct hit to maruti image we didn't expect this type of service form maruti dealer now at the last after doing our all effort we are giving this mail please take necessry action to the executive as well as to dealer or resolve our problem.

Maruti Udyog Ltd. Wagon R Car Dl2cv7707 — Bad Servicing, Indifferent attitude

I got my car serviced at maruti service certre Naraina NewDelhi in APRIL OR MAY 09. This is first tim that i realised that my car is not running properly even after servicing and also my A.C is not working. I went to lodge Complaint to service centre manager Mr.Murmu.He kept me waiting for about 40 mts.and then left the cabin saying he hasn`t time that day.Asked me to come next day.He virtually insulted me.I requested one mechnic to guide me regarding A.C and as per his suggestion I went to Subros at Noida. I TRIED afterwards to talk to MR. Murmu with the intention that if he had time, i would come to redress my problem without spoiling my one more day leave.But sorry He was in no mood to listen that my car is not running properly even after servicing.Now my car is again due for servicing,i really intend to sell it and purchase car of other make to avoid humilation.IS this expected from a concern like MARUTI when i am a 25 year old customer of maruti cars. SO SHAME

I have purchased Maruti Wagon R LXI model in June 2008 from Wonder Cars which is Authorised Maruti Dealer.The REGN.NO. is MH14BK3932.
Your Authorised dealer did not reported any problem during all three services.Last week when I have send car for Servicing Workshop engineer informed me your car Clutch Pressure Plate and Disc is not working It needs replacement and not covered in any type of Waranty.They also informed you have not utilized it properly that is the main root cause of this problem and we will provide you few tips how to utilize it proper which they have not provided while delivering the vehicle to me.I paid 6700/- for this service.

My car is hardly completed 6500 KM running and I have done all services on time.

Query :

Why Authorized Dealer workshop engineers were hiding this Manufactoring Defect and did not inform me during earlier Services.Please provide satisfactory explanation so that I can suggest other's to go with Maruti cars as I am doing currently.

Because dealer is saying now that it will be supplied in Feb., 2010. I understand priority is being given by Maruti Udyog Limited to customer who wish to exchange their old maruti car with Swift car.
