Maruti Swift Zxi vehicle (Owned by my father) caught fire while parked and locked at our residence at Kothamangalam (near Kochi, Kerala) on 9th November 2008. The incident happened in the evening at around 8:15 p.m. To our utter shock and disbelief, the engine compartment was engulfed in fire for about 15 minutes before we somehow managed to put out the fire. The engine compartment, the hood, the fender, bumper and even the tyres have melted on extreme temperatures. The front windshield also cracked under the heat. Thankfully, we were not using the vehicle when this incident occurred and no one was injured!

Even though we have heard about cars catching fire, this was a total shock for us and not expected from a product manufactured by a trusted and well known company like Maruti Suzuki. We have been a loyal customer of Maruti for the last 17 yrs. We owned a Maruti Omni for 14 yrs before buying this Swift in July 2005.

As soon as the incident occurred on Sunday[protected] the following were done -

1. We had contacted Popular Services.
2. Also called Maruti's Toll Free[protected] number who directed to us to the nearest service center - Indus Motors, Muvatupuzha (Ernakulam Dist.)
3. On[protected], Service Engineer from Popular, Kothamangalam visited our home.
4. At 9:30 AM on[protected], A.S.I of Police, Kothamangalam visited our home (site) and issued the GD form.
5. At 11:30 AM on[protected], surveyor from insurance company visited the site.
6. At 5:30 PM, the vehicle was towed to Popular Services.
Currently the car is at the service center of POPULAR VEHICLES SERVICES LTD, Cochin.

We had raised a complaint with Maruti and requested for a contact person to discuss the issues. We were given a tracking number and were directed to the Regional Office, Cochin.

Yesterday[protected] my father met Mr. Balaji, Territory Manager at Regional Office, Cochin. His approach was much worse. On asking about cause of the fire, his only answer was there are no manufacturing defects. He didn't give a proper explanation for the cause. My father felt he was suspecting we had intentionally burnt the car.

Despite following up on each and every step, the insurance company (National Insurance) is raising issues on the veracity of the claim. They are saying the claim form was not collected within the stipulated time and giving other silly reasons for delaying the progress of claim. No one from Popular/ Maruti / National Insurance Company has been proactive in telling us about the procedure for closing out the issue.

The car catching fire itself was a big shock. Now the attitude and approach from service center, Maruti, and the Insurance Company are not at all satisfactory.

The car is under extended warranty and is a well maintained vehicle. Also services were done on time and done at Maruti Authorized Service centers. The majority of the services were done at POPULAR VEHICLES SERVICES LTD, Cochin. This is a fact agreed by the Territory manager.

We are totally shocked by this incident and our confidence in Maruti is lost forever.

We would greatly appreciate if any one can direct us to a proper contact who can help us find the root cause of the issue, and get this matter resolved.

it might v been due to short circuit in the vehicle.
My Suski Swift has just caught fire and been totally ruined causing damage to my other car our house our drive. Apartently there was a recall that er had NOT received saying wire corrision in boot leading to fire. I will let you know how we get on

    Dear Sir,

    My car No. RJ19 IC 8784 Maruti wagon-R (RED) is stay at your service station at new power house road purchase on 10/05/08 from JMJ Service station. it was booked for ii service on 10/05/2008 in good condition to mr. Lochan your serivce supervisior at the time ot delivery i found very much noise in excell. mr. lochan tell me for replace the excell but he is not found the excell in his stock and advise me for wait whenever he not received the excell your car is stay at your service station.

    you are requested to clear the matter and replace the excell as soon as possible becase i require the care very much.

    Dear sir,
    I have bought a swift desire from your LMJ showroom at PALI-MARWAR, which was delivered to me on 28/09/2012. but till today 12/10/12, i have not received the bill of the car, because of this i am not able to done with the RTO procedure and i am having a plan to move out of city tomorrow, but this could not be possible because of this problem and now my family member has to travel by bus.
    I am complaining about this problem to LMJ pali from last 4-5 days, but still not received an proper response.
    Hence i am requesting you to solve it as early as possible.

      I am having card no [protected] . For the last 15 days I am requesting to redeem my auto/torbo points and I rang 3 times to your customer care but every time they give one or other excuse.Some times due to technical reasons and sometime non availbility of Indian oil coupon.Two months ago I went to Maruti service station for service and when i ask them to redeem my auto points with the bill .They also refused due to Technical reason . I fail to ubnderstand What is this Technical Reason. Is there any dispute between Citi Bank and Maruti Auto?Even when I requested ur Customer care executive to connect me to some senior officer She kept me on Hold for more than 15 minutes and even than no body came forward. This happened Twice today only at 4.00pm.
      You are requested to lookinto it.

      Maruti Suzuki Auto Card — Card Not Received

      I have applied for a maruti suzuki auto card on 8th of this month and got a confirmation SMS from your side on 18/4/2008 that my card has been issued and will be dispatched soon. I have also recieved a phone on 21/4/2008 from your side (New Delhi) about the recieveing confirmation of my card I told them that I have still not received any card.

        I am writing this in occurrence to recent incidents and Experience I have had with Sagar Automobiles, Bangalore, I have had at least 6 occasions in the last 12 months where I got a chance to interact with the Service teams @ Sagar, Apparently, none of them have been completely satisfying for me and my issues with my call.. It’s been a night mare for me from the time I have purchased my vehicle ..Below summary would give you an idea of what pain I am going through .

        First Interaction with Service
         Day 2 of my vehicle purchase, I observe all unpainted plastic parts fading off .. turning into White and grey color, I had tough time explaining it to people of the reason with the brand new vehicle
         Day 5 If the vehicle is loaded completely ( 5 members seated ), the Car hits road humps very badly .
        Resolutions provided
        When I called up the sales person, Srinivas from sales, he told me to handover the vehicle during First service and they would take care of all the issues and I also understood the Second issue of hitting the road hump cannot be rectified rather some adjustments could be done.. there was an external polish applied to the Car Plastics and was handed over to me . The service person Ramesh told that the Shocks were hard and they had rectified the same and it was ok now . I found.. it improved but the issue continued and the sales person suggested that the only solution was to add spacer and they wouldn’t do the same. WHY SHOULD I BUY A BRAND NEW CAR WITH A DESIGN PROBLEM ? After few days the plastics were back to the same state and I stopped complaining about it ..:-(
        ****I had got a feedback form from Maruthi to provide my feedback, I had shared all my views in that form, and got a call as a follow up from someone more like from Delhi, I told him about all the problem .. he said he will follow up and called me once more after a week and asked if it was fixed .. I told it was not .. that person never called again ****

        Second Interaction with Service
        Issue I had in the 6th Month was more of an Accident Claim – Front bumper Damaged, I handed over my car to fix this during my second service and during this Period I had found out from my colleague that Key less entry option should Auto lock once you turn ON your car and it was not happening in mine from the time I had purchased, So I asked them to fix that before handing over, and also reminded them of road clearance issue also ..

        Resolution provided
         Bumper replaced through insurance and difference charges was paid by me
         They gave me couple of contact numbers of Nippon and said pls call them they would come and fix the Auto locking issue, People in those numbers never responded and I asked them to try once ..they too had the same issue and said they would follow up to give me an updated one which never happened.
         CAR HANDED OVER WITHOUT BODY WASH, I HAD TO WASH ONCE I TOOK IT HOME.
         Road Clearance issue continues - no solution I gave up ..

        Third Interaction with Service
        My Car had an accident and was sent to Body Repair, they took their own time to get all the things ready, and this time I wanted my car ready before my brother’s wedding and they promised to deliver the same, I got my car from the Shop, paid the difference and took it home to see that it had a deep dent on the front which was not there originally ., I called the person immediately and told them about this issue .. they asked me to get the CAR next day which I did and they saw the dent and agreed that it might have happened within their shop and they would have this rectified, I also showed them the quality of work they had done during the body repair and their supervisor accepted that it was a miss and they will fix everything and would require a day to do the same..which was not acceptable as I needed the CAR for my brother’s wedding .. SO THE PURPOSE OF FIXING MY CAR GOT WORSNED AND WAS HUMILIATING FOR ME DURING THE WEDDING  .. During the same interaction I told them to rectify my Auto locking issue, they said they would but they never did as they could not get the Nippon person to come and rectify .. They gave me few contact numbers again, where those numbers never functioned. IF THE SERVICE FOLKS ARE NOT ABLE TO GET THE NIPPON PEOPLE, HOW COULD THEY EXPECT A CUSTOMER TO FOLLOW THROUGH ..it’s ridiculous

        Fourth Interaction with Service
        My car was coming to a closure of Warranty and Insurance renewal and they started calling me from the dealer’s side one month before, I was travelling and was in Philippines and mentioned to them at least 5 different calls that I was travelling and would return back to them once I am back to Bangalore .. But they just kept calling on my International Roaming number .. It’s ridiculous until I lost my mind and screamed at one of the lady and said that I would complain to their Manager .. then they followed up after I returned to get my Insurance done on time and collecting the Cheque within required period.. Sorry to say purely Money Minded and NO one was bothered to talk about my existing issues..
        I had to get my Car serviced for the 3rd time and the same time I was travelling, I got a mailer about the online service booking option and I booked the same and got the confirmation also, when I reached the service center, the service people had no clue about my online booking and asked me to wait in the queue with the rest of the customers who were standing out, it took me over an hour to get the person see my Car and take the service request, It was really annoying I explained to that person about my ongoing issue with the Auto lock and I want it to be rectified before its handed over back to me .. he confirmed he would do this without fail this time, they called me in the evening, Mehboob was the person and confirmed that Nippon people have rectified the issue and now the car is fine, Next day morning I reach the center @ 8:30 AM and they completed the billing by 9:10 and handed over the vehicle to me for checking, when I opened the vehicle the interiors was never cleaned, mats continued to be dirty, they had applied a spray on the dashboard only half AND TO MY SURPRISE THE AUTO LOCK IS NOT WORKING .. I lost my patience with these guys and had to yell at everyone from the sales till service folks and this time another supervisor came and saw the vehicle and said he will personally ensure it would be resolved.. I have been taking ricks all the time to travel back to office every time I came to their service, this time I demanded a shuttle to drop me to my office, they apologized by saying the vehicle had gone out and a person will accompany me till office and get the Car back to service.. I was disgusting and carried through .. the Nippon fellow called me in the afternoon from the service center and asked me what was the problem.. I explained to him all over again . he said, the other day they never told him the problem correctly .. NOW WHO TO BLAME ??.. they brought the car back to my office and delivered late evening saying it was fixed and I saw the auto lock working for the first time in my car – EXACTLY AFTER 12 MONTHS OF PURCHASE ..I find this funny .. 2 weeks after that one day the Car got drenched in a heavy rain and the auto lock was back to the earlier state.. I got frustrated to the core and in couple of days it became ok by itself and I ignored this for some time .. the same issue recurred again when it got drenched and got fixed by itself, I realized that it was intermittent and not sure what was driving this .. During the same time I received a feedback letter from Maruthi to send me the feedback about my Service, In 2 days I got a call from a lady from the service center requesting if everything was fine.. I told about all my problems with my road clearance issue not resolved and now the auto lock is giving intermittent problem .. and expressed that no one was fixing my issue .. she said that she will talk to the senior most person and have it resolved.. and also asked me not to post the feedback till it is resolved.. so I waited .. they called after 2 wks to check if my issue was fixed .. I said no one came and they promised to arrange someone to call and come over .. after another one someone called and asked if this issue was resolved.. I had to scream at that person and tell her to stop annoying me like this .. it was becoming a mental torture .. after that there was no call made and today Morning one person called me and said he was from service and wanted to come and see my car to have everything resolved .. I gave him my address and details .. in half hour time I get another call requesting similar thing from another person .. I had to shout at him saying that another person had already fixed the appointment, he reminded me of the feedback form and said not to post it until we resolve the issue .. so I told .. to send someone first to fix the issue .. the Guy called me 3 times today and told that he was on his way .. I waited entire day @ about 4:40 PM he called saying he had reached my office and I asked him to come to the reception .. I reached their and waited for an hour and couldn’t find any one .. returned the call back and found it was a local telephone booth .. and no clue about the person and never he called back after and my grievances continues … After few days there was a series of call checking with me if the issue was fixed and everytime i used to tell the people that no one spoke/followed up for resolution.. they would say we will immediately have it arranged and not would happen, this happened atleast 12 times over 3 months and i got frustrated to shout at one person and she finally had the Nippon guy to come and fix the problem, however, The issue of Bumper hitting the road has still not been resolved after a person visted 2 months back from Sagar and said that he will ensure it will be resolved, no one bothered to fix the issue, i also wrote a simillar note with all the issues i incurred to [protected]@maruti, they also didn't bother to take it further ..its sad to see that resolution cannot be sought from either the dealer not the company ..:-(

        Over a period maruti has become so arragant that treat customer like this only. I have many such experience especially in bangalore. be it with Bimal, Sagar or mandovi.
        I agree to the above, these people run becuase of the customer and they act as of they don't care attitude..,

        Best solution is Consumer Court and get these dealer & maruti suzuki pay for it..,
        I had a bad experience 3 years back when i bought a zen vxi 2002 model, the oginal tyres were replaced with other car, stepney was missing after delivery, jack was not there in the car, wheel caps as promised was not given while delivering the car, seat belt was the major thing, which they replaced with some other zen and gave a old broken unworking one in my car, the car i saw a payed for was not the one when i got the delivery, there were lot of changes in the car which i found and they never bother to resolve even one accept promises, [censored]s the sagar auto guys..,

        till you give them mony they are like dogs behind you with many calls until you buy car from them, and the moment you pay them and the deal is over, they act as they don't know you at all..,

        i think govt. should close down these kind of people who play with common man's money and feelings..,
        Well .. the bumper part is a design flaw in a Baleno .. some other cars like City and Civic too suffer from it. I doubt Sagar can do anything about it.

          Dear Sir,
          I `Rohit Singla` purchased a zen car lxi e-11 in year 2005 in august from GULZAR MOTORS LUDHIANA. Vehicle no is PB-10-BP-0976 (sr. no.DTO/LDH/251855) on the name of ROHIT SINGLA prop GUPTA COMPANY.
          R.C.(registration certificate) work was done by GULZAR MOTORS, G.T.ROAD, LUDHIANA.
          Its engine no. written on R.C. is 346196 but in actual this is 348947
          .This mistake I come to know when I claimed for insurance for car damage on aug 2008.GULZAR MOTORS is responsible for this mistake because R.C. work was done by GULZAR.
          Then I requested this to MR.BHATIA-R.C. department of GULZAR MOTORS. But my problem was not solved. And after that many of time I went to GULZAR MOTORS for this mistake. but they did not solve my problem.
          After that I told this to MR GAURAV SHARMA ([protected]) and MR. SALIL NARANG ([protected]).those people are (I think) appointed on good post by MARUTI UDYOG in northern side. But they did not take any action. And even many of times they did not listen to my phone and many of time they told me for back call but they did not..
          PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE IF IN ANY CASE MY CAR WILL BE FULL DAMAGE..
          So finally I have no way and I m sending this mail to you for further action. I hope you will take action against this. AND solve my problem (CORRECTION OF R.C.) as soon as possible.

          Maruti Zen — complaint against GULZAR MOTORS,LUDHIANA

          Dear Sir,

          i mr. balwant singh s/o sh. uttma singh purchased a Maruti Alto Lxi on dtd.5 may10 from M/s Gulzar Motors, i want to complaint against the sales deptt. for their commitments. the sales person harminder singh has commit that he will provide RC within one month, but after one month he told that it'll take 15 days more, i agreed with him and extended the 15 day in TRC, but three month gone and now the sales guy mr. harminder did not picking my phone, and pretended that the RC is delaying due to serial no. changing,

          after expiration of TRC Date i go many itime .out of state and i got harrassed by traffic police due to RC
          so please tell me who is the responsible for this, they should not cimmit for 'Giving RC in one month

          now i'm very dissatisfied and want to get rid gulzar motor to exchange car with another company new car,

          I purchased a maruti 800 ac under NLV sales. The salesman Neeraj sold me the car telling me lie that its battery needs a little bit recharge because it was taking time to get started so that would be alright after being driven for some time.I asked him to check it again for the same but he just ignored that.
          Actually the problem was with some part of the self and switching the self for longer times added to the problem and the battery went flat because of that. In all it costed me around 3000/- to get all the problems fixed because they denied to fix the problems for me.
          I accepted all that but they are adding to harassment by not giving me my RC. Its around last 15 days that they are just asking me to collect that today after 2 hours then tomorrow again and again and then not picking my phone.

          I am very very upset on all this and don't want anybody else to get such harassment.

            Dear All Concerned,

            Myself, NILOY DAS, a resident of 4, Godavari Apartments, Alaknanda, New Delhi-110019 has booked a SWIFT Zxi ( Azzure Grey ) from Marketing Times ( GK-II ), a dealer of Maruti in Delhi.

            The booking as been done during the month of August'08 and also a token advance has been payed in this regard on 17th Aug, 08. But to my utter dismay the dealer informed me couple of days back that there is no production of the particular model ( in azzure grey color ) and they are unsure when the vehicle would be delivered !!

            This has put me into great trouble and complete disorientation of my piece of mind, as this particualar incident has happened with me with such a reputed company like Maruti.

            Also this has resulted me a net loss of around INR 20, 000 on the financial front due to depreciated value of my old car for exchange as well the additional margin money in lieu of increase in the car loan interest rate.

            Who has to be held responsible for this ??????

            I would like to request you to look at my request with outmost priority, as till date neither the dealer nor the company could confirm me about the delivery of the desired vehicle.

            I am not sure about the dealer's reputation but i have have booked the same with one of the dealers in Meerut although ib silver color and he is givving me delivery within one week.

              Respected Sir,

              1. With due deference, I beg to submit that I am posted in Srinagar (J&K) and presently on leave for 4 days to celebrate Diwali with my family in Jaipur.

              2. I am a loyal Maruti owner (Maruti Van Omni 8 seater) since March 1999. On 27th August 2008, I purchased a new Maruti SX4 Vxi (chassis no. 134964, engine no. 1358786) from M/s.Stan Autos Private Limited, Ludhiana, Punjab vide their Invoice no.SX4/00492 dated 27/08/2008.

              3. I got the first free servicing done from JR Auto (code number 0273) Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on 08 October, 2008.

              4. My humiliating and agonizing experience with SX4 and Maruti services on 25th October, 2008. At approx. 12:30P.M near Moolchand hospital, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. I along with my family underwent the following agonising experiences in middle of Ring Road and onwards :-

              (a) All electronic systems failed.
              (b) A.C stopped functioning.
              (c) Window panes couldn’t be pulled down.
              (d) Horn stopped functioning.
              (e) Engine stopped and couldn’t be restarted on self.
              (f) The entire traffic on road stopped with hundreds of vehicles around us with the result even the doors couldn’t be opened.
              (g) My wife and children started feeling suffocated.
              (h) Enraged crowd and my family started cursing the new SX4.
              (i) I called up Maruti Helpline no. 39391515 and they promised to send mechanics in 10 mins. but they didn’t appear for nearly 3 hours.
              (j) After half an hour traffic police came I requested them for help by showing them my I.D card of Army officer. They helped me in pushing the car on the road side.
              (k) I sent my family in auto to Noida and started waiting for Maruti repair team. I reminded Helpline almost 10 times.
              (l) At approx 4:30 P.M. team came and I along with SX4 went to Rana Motors Private Limited, C-47, Okhla Industrial Area –II, New Delhi. .
              (m) They repaired the vehicle and Old alternator was replaced with a new one vide their cash memo no. BC08014573 dated 25/10/2008 and the Vehicle was handed over to me at 7:05 P.M with the following instructions:-

              (i)Keep the engine on so that battery gets recharged by the new alternator

              (ii) Don’t switch on A.C nor the stereo to conserve energy of the battery.

              (n) At 8:30 P.M. I reached Noida. To ensure serviceability and dependability, the moment I started the car there were very loud crackling sounds coming from the engine.

              (o) I immediately called Maruti Helpline, a team from Rohan Motors Sec.-1 Noida arrived and diagnosed that the alternator belt was broken. They expressed their inability to repair the car since car was required to be taken to their workshop.

              (p) They promised me to arrange the crane for towing the vehicle to the workshop They went away and the SX4 remained out of order with me and my family remained stranded throughout the night.
              26th October, 2008:-

              5. The next morning on reminding the Maruti repairs, a crane from M/s. Om Sai Break Down Crane Service, Sharma Market, Noida towed away my NEW SX4 (the copy of challan no. 628 dated 26/10/08 enclosed) to Rohan Motors, Sector-1 Noida which was entered at 09:33 A.M.

              6. The following was diagnosed :-
              (a)An incompatible alternator was fitted by Rana Motors on 25th October, 2008
              (b)Since, alternator was incompatible it broke down A.C belt and Alternator belt. The fragments of which entered the timer system.

              7. New alternator was fitted along with belts by Rohan Motors Pvt Ltd., Sector-1, Noida vide their jonb card no. JC08026064 dated 26/10/08.The entire work was
              completed by 5:20 P.M. Thereby, wasting my 29 hours and costing me two days of leave out of four days. And my entire leave plan was jeopardized.



              27 October -31 Oct 2008

              8. At 9.30 AM on 27 Oct 08, I left for Jaipur. After driving for approx 260 km, oil warning blinker indicated to me that oil was dangerously low. I reached Prem Motors, Sikar Road Jaipur and deposited the Car at 6 PM. I was told by the works manager that they did not have oil seal and they had placed order to their Chandigarh dealer, which will take 4 days to reach them the earliest.

              9. On 28 and 29 Oct Maruti Workshops remained closed in Jaipur. On 30 Oct 08 I, spoke to Vipul Motors, Jhotwara Jaipur who promised me to procure the Oil Seal No[protected] and get the vehicle repaired in 2-3 days. Vipul Motors sent their mechanic alongwith me to Prem Motors to examine the damage. I was advised by Prem Motors to put oil in the engine and take away the vehicle. I purchased 2 (two) liters of engine oil for Rs 500/-. The mechanic of Vipul Motors drove the vehicle and shifted the vehicle from Prem Motors, Service Station Jaipur to Vipul Motors, Service Station, Jhotwara Jaipur at 12.40 PM. They diagnosed that pieces of belts have damaged the sealing system and required extensive repairs. Since my leave had finished I alongwith my family returned to Delhi by bus.

              10. For no fault of mine the vehicle is still off road even after seven days due to incompetence, negligence and oversight on part of Maruti repair system.

              11 The horrifying experience has caused a permanent fear –psychosis in the mind of my wife. I am posted in J&K and the car has to be driven by my wife who is just not ready to enter this particular car due to fear.

              12 MY PLEA

              It is apparent from the above that the vehicle has instilled distrust in my mind . In view of the above you are requested to REPLACE my car with a new SX4 (preferably with same colour) latest by 01Nov 08 failing which I will be constraint to take the following steps –
              (a) Fight for my right for replacement of the said rejected vehicle.
              (b) To initiate legal proceeding against your company for compensation towards replacement of vehcile with new vehicle and also for agony and humiliation suffered by me and my family.
              (c) Same harassment may be highlighted through the reporters from T.V channels to highlight the negligence of Maruti Quality control and Repair System as I am at present DEFENCE SPOKESMAN in media.
              (d) Write to leading national dailies to publish my pains and experience which .may result in causing serious damage to the reputation of Maruti Suzuki Ltd..
              (e) The above actions by me will also affect popularity and future sale of Maruti Vehicles vis-à-vis other cars in the competition

              SUB:- REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT OF NEW SX4 (VXI)

              Respected Sir,

              1. With due deference, I beg to submit that I am posted in Srinagar (J&K) and presently on leave for 4 days to celebrate Diwali with my family in Jaipur.

              2. I am a loyal Maruti owner (Maruti Van Omni 8 seater) since March 1999. On 27th August 2008, I purchased a new Maruti SX4 Vxi (chassis no. 134964, engine no. 1358786) from M/s.Stan Autos Private Limited, Ludhiana, Punjab vide their Invoice no.SX4/00492 dated 27/08/2008.

              3. I got the first free servicing done from JR Auto (code number 0273) Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on 08 October, 2008.

                On maruti Suziki Website on 26/04/2008 at 5.05pm.

                I have purchased Swift Desire VDI on 2nd April 08. The vehicle produces so much of noise at the slow down speed at around speed of 25 to 15 km/h. The noise is so Irritating that we can not ecpect suct uncomfortable noise when we have spend more than 6.5 lacs rupees. This is a very very seriuos matter and had expected companies immidiate action on this matter. After so many emails and call on csutomer care Maruti person have checked the car and admitted the said problem. But he have never resolved the problem. Dezire VDI & LDe has 165 and ZDi has got 185 tyres although there is no such big diffrence between these models other than price. I advice not to buy the Dezire as there is problem with tyres and more than that there is a problem with the company not being able to solve the complaint..

                You are absolutely correct. Even I'm experiencing this whinning noise at low speeds(no not wheel bearing noise) which is extremely irritating. Actually the noise persists at higher speed but due to incerease in tyre noise and engine noise it is less audible.
                In the first free service Maruti works people said it was due to overinflated tyres(Not true). In the second free service they say it is normal with all Dezires and is caused by the front brake pads !
                This week Maruti engineers are suppose to check and have promised to rectify the problem.

                  I sent my Maruti Suzuki Alto in M.G. Motors Alwar for servicing in october after servicing i came back at my home and at home i see that my stapny was changed. my stapny whish was new but this stapny is old. I have very hurt that how can maruti do this? This is black spot on MARUTI SUZUKI. If Maruti dealers do this type with customers than what would be name in market of MARUTI.

                  Maruti Suzuki Alto — dysfunctional car battery

                  i purchased maruti suzuki- alto in march 2007. it is hardly two and half yrs since i purchased the car and the battery is not working( car failed to start in two occasions).

                    This is bring to your notice I have purchased Maruti Esteem LXi
                    DL-9Ck, 8802 from Magic Auto Dwarka Showroom on the 28/04/2007. Despite getting the vehicle serviced from Magic Auto A-93, Mayapuri Ind.Area phase-II, the rickety noises from the front doors and the back seat have not been rectified till date. Just to remind you that this is a persistant complaint since the free services and now after 32000 km it still is a nagging irritation.

                    The purpose of writing to you is that every time I go to Magic Auto A-93, Mayapuri Ind.Area phase-II, I am asked "Narula ji Ka phone toh nahi ayaa?" by the customer service executive.
                    When I tell them no she takes a sigh of relief and is no more bothered that the complaint is attended or not.

                    May I request you to please call me at [protected] and do some sort of communication with the operaters of Magic Auto A-93, Mayapuri Ind.Area phase-II, so that other people like me are not charged for the jobs half done or not done at all. They also need to get their co-ordination intact. I was delivered my vehicle after 21days, after I had given it in the bodyshop for repairs as well as servicing, When I was called after 21days ...the vehicle was not serviced, the reason they quoted was the service deptt. was not informed by the bodyshop deptt. ASTONISHING but true. I had not expected this.
                    The latest incidence is just 2weeks ago when I had given my car for the paid service ...this time they forgot to wash, vaccum, polish my vehicle.I was charged Rs 4600/-+ for the favour.They could not do the Pollution check as the machine was broken, as per the sevice advisor, but it was working when I had given my vehicle for service.

                    Please stop this fleecing by MAGIC AUTO located at A-93, Mayapuri Ind.Area phase-II.The trust of going to the authorised Maruti Service Centers is taking a serious beating. Please address this at the first available oppurtunity, so that the rot can be stemmed before its too late to act.

                      The service provided to me on my fourth subsequent visit to MAGIC AUTO situated at A-92 Mayapuri New Delhi was the worst a person can expect after paying INR4500/-+ .
                      My Car Registeration No Dl 9ck 8802, bought on the 28th of April 2007, was handed over to me after 7hrs of service in a condition where a wheel cover was missing, the car was not washed and the wheel alignment done was unsatisfactory . All these were charghed to me and on enquiry I was informed that "we are getting late the service centre is about to close, make the payment and come back later on a weekday amd we shall see if we can do something about it."

                      The car still is rickety since its second service, the Magic Auto People have not been able to work their Magic on my Car and they continue to make false promises "Sir next time it will be resolved".

                      They have lived upto their reputation of being Magicians as they always find out new excuses to haress customers (Old /New). I have been trying for more than a year with these people at Magic Auto but have not been successful in getting rid of the annoying sounds in my front doors as well as the back seat.

                      The car after this wash was dirtier than when it was handed over to the service advisor.They had conveniently (it seems ) forgotten to WASH and POLISH the vehicle, to top it it was not even vaccumed and cleaned from inside, there are permanent black hand prints on the driver side roof lining, which according to them is not their Fault. This is hilarious as the service supervisor says they will try to remove NEXT TIME but the technician says 'this is not my fault".

                      Mr Pankaj Narula, you being the General Manager of Sevicing should address this as there are many o[censored]s who will not report as the pressures of time do not allow us to do so. Despite repeated request to the Magic Auto People regarding your contact details, they are not very customer freindly in providing the details. I request you to please address these sevice centres to stop haressing customers and be more productive and please stop FLEECING and OVERCHARGING and claiming MONEY for the Jobs you don't do.

                      I am looking forward for a resolution from your office regarding the complaints mentioned above.

                      Maruti Suzuki/ Esteem Lxi — poor service

                      Sir/Madam,
                      I am a serving defence officer. I chose Maruti over other automobile companies while purchasing a car, only because of the good service available, as I am in a job that takes me to remote places.
                      My Car (Esteem LXi dec 2005 model) met with an accident and i gave it for repairs to Coral Motors at Bareilly UP in the last week of Jan 2009.As on 15th Mar 09, the repair work on the car has just commenced. The attitude of the service station has been very callous, and they have quoted that another 25 days+ would be required for the repairs.Lame excuses have been quoted for the delay. I request you to kindly look into the matter.

                        I booked a Swift Dzire with Vasanthi Automobiles (Pondicherry), ZDi version on 23rd of April, 2008. I was given a counter-signed order booking form. Till now there is no clue on when I will get this delivered. I raised a complaint to customer care couple of months back which was routed back to Vasanthi Automobiles itself to resolve it. The dealer expressed his inability to commit a date as he said this is the market status as of now. Last week When I contacted the dealer again, he said that the allotment letter has to come from the company and they cannot do anything till then. This is kind of catch-22 situation. Seems the company has taken for granted, the customers and has just launched the product without any proper planning on its side. Probably this is a pre-empting-marketing strategy as well, whichever it is it is not in the interest of the customer. If bookings are still accepted with a waiting period of 9 months, it talks volumes about the attitude and bureaucratism that is intertwined in their product strategies. Giving interest on the booking amount doesnt enable the company, ethically, to abstain from any communication or transparency in their operations leave alone their delivery.

                        The problem heightens based on other factors as well. Unconfirmed sources have that this dealer is having problems with the exchequer and there is a huge amount due from their side. This poses increased risk as the dealer may be out of business for sometime or may be even worse. Any issue in the dealer side can make things worse as he is the sole dealer for Pondicherry.

                        Not sure how the company proposes to take this forward - with lots of question unanswered, I am making one more attempt to log a complaint to Customer care.

                        I am also logging this call to get a quicker resolution.

                        Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire — delayed delivery of product

                        I have booked swift dezire through Berkeley automobiles Chandigarh through CSD Jallandhar on 15 feb 09.I was assured delivery in max 2 months by the dealer.However 3 months have passed and i have not yet recieved the delivery of my car.The dealer is not at all interested in my grieveance and is not giving me any concrete assurance of delivery date.
                        I am fed up of calling the dealer and asking about the status of delivery, but all efforts result in vain.Can maruti udyog help me in any ways...i am really aghast at this pathetic service of maruti udyog.This brings down the name of the entire Maruti Udyog as well.

                          i took a swift vxi car from indus motors, kalamassery, ernakulam district, kerala in2006.till now i didn't get tool kit with my car...itz causing a big difficulty for me in need.several times while giving for services i have asked the dealers about tool kit of my car..that time they are promising that they will bring it to my house, but all these time they disappointed me...so please do the needfull...my vehicle reg no: KL 41-4368...

                            I purchased one new omni van model MT 308, chassis no. 748878, engine no.3559837 from Shakti Motors Pvt.Ltd, Sirsa (haryana) in March 2006. Since 6 months the body is catching rust all over. The complaint was made to the dealer several times at the time of reqular service but they showed helplessness. I know the van is out of warranty but rusting of body just after two years is not acceptable from the product of a company of status.

                            Please redress my complaint quickly. I fear the whole van will be having rust in coming months.

                              Dear Sir,

                              First I would like to introduce myself; I am Kailash Mudliar working with well known electronic retail company as commercial head for m.p.

                              I have purchased Maruti omni one year back on 31.07.07 from your dealer Patel Motors and felt very proud to become a member of MARUTI FAMILY; now I am forced to make complaint, since I am not satisfied with the service provided by the Dealer in last one month; they are well in reminding to the customer for the due dates for servicing & insurance. But the service which they are providing is very pathetic.

                              Since my third servicing was due so I had given my vehicle to Patel motors on 26.07.08 for just routine servicing. When I had taken the delivery of the vehicle I noticed that the door of driver side is not locking properly which I informed to the dealer, to rectify the problem the dealer had sent there technician to my residence; he has bent the door with hands and informed me that the problem has been rectified and I also felt that time the door was looking properly, but when I went for drive I noticed that the problem is still there which once again I informed to the dealer.

                              Again on 13.08.08 when I had given vehicle for washing, I informed the service supervisor to check the problem, but when I went to service center in the evening to take the delivery of the vehicle I found that the problem was not rectified and even not attended, when I enquired with the service supervisor then only he called a mechanic to rectify the problem, immediately mechanic brought hammer and started hammering on small iron rod provided on body of the vehicle to look the door without observing what is the actual problem, PLEASE TELL ME CAN CUSTOMER WILL TOLERATE THIS, when he could not rectify the problem I had been told to take the vehicle to body shop.

                              When I refused to go to body shop alone, the service supervisor accompanied with me, again there also the person who was attending my vehicle started twisting / bending the door without observing the reason, when he was just trying all this I observed that the driver seat was getting jerks when the door is pushed to lock, this I have informed to the person and very surprised that driver seat was not properly fixed due to which the door was not getting properly locked. Since so many experiments have been made with the door still the door is not getting properly locked.

                              Further on 31.08.08 when I have inserted the key to start the vehicle, I shocked when I noticed that the battery was totally discharged, immediately I called the authorized Exide service center to check the battery and he informed me that the cell of the battery is totally dry and might not be recovered. I GOT SURPRISED HOW THE CELLS CAN BE DRY WHITHIN A MONTH AS THE LAST SERVICING WAS DONE ON 26.07.08., when I confirmed with the dealer whether they do the inspection of the battery in routine free service as per the free service book or not, he confirmed me that the same is being inspected and in the counter of the third service coupon it is marked as checked, when it is checked on 26.07.08 how it can be dry in 36 days.


                              DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE DEALER THE BATTERY GOT DAMAGED AND COULD NOT BE RECOVERED EVEN AFTER 24 HOURS PUTTING IT ON PROPER CHARGING, IS THIS TYPE OF FREE SERVICE BEING PROVIDED BY MARUTI UDYOG LTD, CAN YOU TELL ME WHO WILL BEAR THE LOSS?

                              Now I have doubt whether the dealer has changed / filled or not the engine oil, Break oil, front wheel bush for which they have charged amount from me during the free service check up.

                              This I had informed on your help line[protected] on 31.08.08 itself but not received any response from Maruti Udyog ltd.

                              Since I am also from service company I know very well how important is single customer also & how we can satisfy the loyal customer.

                              I have purchased my WAGoN-r in month of NOV2005. This car is under YMC ( yearly maintance contract )with M/S Spectrs motors malad Mumbai.( since last 1 yr. for Rs 7000). Car No MH 02 Ap 3688. Total mileage for last 34 months are 25837.km I hav sent my car for last regular service i.e 4th service on 13/9/08 after doing three earlier services with them for last 1 yr, This time, they hv shown me diff problems which as lay man are beyond my understanding ( car do not have any serious problems as per operation is concernd)They charged me total Rs 10909 towards labour and RS7863 for parts. & as Ymc they gave me discount of Rs 1059and total amount paid was 17714 Rs.on 16/9/08 vide receipt no BC08013594.                               I have purchased a Maruthi Omni Van(LPG), 2008-Dec.Model, from Popular Vehicles, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, South India.On 5th April 2009, when I have tried to start the vehicle, it remained idle and I have made a complaint to the aforesaid Popular Vehicles and on the same day itself the vehicle was taken away by the staff of the Popular. It was returned on 7th of April by saying that "everything is o.k". But on 9th morning the same complaint occured and I couldn't start the vehicle and I have informed the matter again with the Popular and the staff of the Popular took the vehicle on the same day itself. Thereafter I have contacted them directly and through telephone several times. But they have showed a lukewarm attitude in this matter because of the reasons unknown to me.They did not return the vehicle till date, inspite of repeate requests and demands. Even, they are not ready to say a specific date, when the vehicle could be returned to me. Because of the negligence and indifferent attitude of the Popular I have suffered a great financial loss, other hardships and mental agony. It is unfortunate that for a minor complaint like battery weak, prolonged keeping of the vehicle in your authorised service centre. It is to be noted that from the very beginning itself, there were somany coplaints and most of the days the said vehicle was in the custody of the Popular. In the aforesaid circumstances you may be pleased to take back the vehicle and replace with a new one. For the complaint details of the vehicle, please verify the records.Hoping a favourable action at the earliest.

                                This is Navin Shetty, My car nos is MH 02 AQ 93, I had been a very loyal customer o[censored]r esteemed company and before buying Switft i was very eager to buy your product and that was reason i went ahead with the product, Driving Swift was good initially and was fun and Wen it comes to Servicing with Spectra it was not too bad initially as i got the 1st servicing done pretty smoothly wid good customer service. The real problem started in the 2nd servicing when i had driven the car for more than 5000 kms. I had many issues wid the Car,

                                1. The shock absorber of the car was very hard
                                2. The Driver's Door never used to get closed smoothly
                                3. The Clutch Pad used to give a rough sensation wen i used to drive for a longer drive
                                4. Horn Stopped functioning
                                5. Tune Up of the car
                                6. Used to get a noise wen i used to give a big turn in my steering.

                                Out of these problem some problems wer sorted out, like the horn and tune up

                                But the other problem still exist in the machine. I have got in touch your service center and they have been so nice to me all the time but they were never able to give me a justified answer nor were they able to give me solution for such bad shock abosrber and also the Door problem still exist and the Clutch problem too.

                                Today after running the car for 25000 kms, All the problem i mentioned has worsened and i really dont enjoy driving it anymore, i had recently completed my 4th servicing.The suspension is gone for a toss and u can hear all sort of sound sitting inside the car, the tune up done during the 4th servicing is bad, The clutch problem which i mentioned again in the 4th servicing has not been done.

                                Its really very surprising that wenever i ask the engineers in the Spectra motors about the sort of problem, they speak very positive about giving us the best of output and make us comfortable but when we take home the product what they have given me, its really disappointing. Whenever i call them up they request me to bring the car to their workshop but they dont understand that i m a working guy and really difficult for me to come down to their workshop as i would b spending my whole day and i hope they give customer service of pick up and drop. I think Spectra have taken so many customers that they are unable to give attention to every customers which is bad for maruti as an whole and i am sure as you being into this business wouldnt like to lose out customers. If you people ask me what would be my next car, then the present scenario would b that i wouldnt go for a maruti car again. I Think maruti is also equally responsible along wid spectra

                                At the end i would say and spectra makes promise but never fullfill.

                                Agreed mr Shetty not only spectra but Maruti is also at fault . u can sue both the companies and get full refund for your amount u paid for the car also put up a negligence case against the companies as any accident can happen due to their faulty service .

I was paid as a booking prise 25000.00 rupee on dated 23.10.08 before increasing rate of Zen stilo but before delievery on date 25.10.08 deler told me that you should pay increased money of your car and I have all ready pay the increased money of with 3000.00 extra for aen stilo.                                     manan autolink is the worst car dealer in ahmedabad.They sales representative are very smart cheaters.They LURE CUSTOMERS by offering huge discount .Once the deal is finalized and the customer is trapped they show their hidden terms.I had booked my MARUTI ALTO CAR before 1 month and once i asked them about insurance, they insisted me to take it from BAJAJ ALLIANZ and upon my refusal to take insurance from the said company they cancelled my booking and deducted Rs 1000 from booking amount.This seems ridiculous.On detailed inquiry through reliable sources, it was apparent that they are getting 35-40% commision from bajaj allianz in which they recover the discount offered to you.So this is an alert message for all doctor friends and other customers that think twice before buying any maruti car from MANAN AUTOLINK, AHMEDABAD
                                    I have purchased SWIFT DZIRE last month from Manan Autolink, Ahmedabad, I found the best service in its class, I have visited all MARUTI & HYUNDAI dealers in Ahmedabad but hospitality and serives given to was like family person, I was attended excellently.
                                    The excutive's are well trained, commited. Even at the time delivery I was offered all facility, accessories.
                                    The showroom is well managed. I really appritiate the managment and MARUTI SUZUKI for apppointing such a good staff. I came to know the CEO of manan is himself a basically a DOCTOR, so by profession his commiment and customer serice is excellent.

I have purchase the same from Kiran Motors Ahmedabad and since from Purchase I take Insurance from the Kiran Motors. Last Year I taken insurance from Manan Autolink Pvt. Ltd. with this insurance I get benefit of 1 Free Service. I have Maurti Swift. I purchase swift from Manan Auto Link and I am happy with service provide by Manan Autolink So I renew insurance for my Baleno from Manan Autolink. But I am not very happy with last service done by Manan Autolink Pvt. Ltd. I send a car for Service as on 08th January 2010. At that time I come to know that Rs.7000 to 8000 expense requrie for car. I agree on Phone for the same within 5 Second. I received car on the same day but when I receive my car I not found my Pen Drive in the car. Then i said pls. check for my pen drive and collect your cheque on next day. then he said as per our telecom u agree that u give us cheque on delivery of car. I am ready to pay cheque but my question is that my pen drive not in the car. so i tell him to collect chq. on next day. Next day i received call from Mr.Vishal Mistry and Mr. Gautam who is Incharge for our car on behalf of Manan Autolink. They said we paid you amount of pen drive or else u can write cheque after deduct your pen drive value. I said that I am not worried about Rs.250 to Rs.300 pen drive, but you have no right to say your customer to deduct your item value from your Bill. My intention write you only that your representative are unable to give satisfaction to your customers. After every Service I received Feedback form and I give 9 to 10 Marks for your services.                                     I have purchased Bajaj Pulser 150 in Mar-10. But sorry to say that Manan Bajaj has very poor service. They even not giving proper resopnse to customer. They feel that they are people who can do anything to customer. We had booked the bike and give the delivery after 2 months even giving the committement within 3 weeks. We had paid full amount also. Bike was given of little scratches and non colored on some part of body. Even presently we had renewed our insurance for the same but they ask us to go to Insurance office and renew it whereas other dealers are renew it from ther branch office itself. They can atleast take the premium cheque. Mr. Ankit & Mr. Alpesh from their staff has no dressing sense and stood up against us like they will hit us. I will not recommend others to take any vehicle from Manan Autolink. They are also spoiling Bajaj impression in the market.
                                    After 6th service of my wagon-R-Duo at Manan Auto link at Naranpura When i went for fillup of petrol to my surprize I see the cap of petrol tank was miissing, i freently Call to service adviser & workshop manager regaeding careless service lost the cap but authority answered we will inform you after enquiring but no answeres So this is the so called best service.

                                    Hurrible outcome from a free servicing of a new Dzire. Cannot believe that the car is delivered without even minimum wash!! The mud marks from normal use on Ahmedabad roads were glaring at the face after the so called servicing. If the visible part of the car showed this outcome what about the servicing of the car in its inside parts?? Absolutely not trustworthy. Due to the intervention of a friend, I got some redressal. God save!!
                                    I put my Dezire-VXI to routine service and to fix small problem related to Door Lock. Within 1 hour I got a call from Manan Auto-Ahmedabad. They simply trying to sale fresh Lock assembly instead of trying to repair lock. I did not appreciates this. I ask them to give me on their Letter Head that Lock is beyond repair and recommended for replacement. They denied. I just wonder to see their hunger to loot customer. I told them to keep my Car with them free of cost towards my protest.

                                      I bought India’s largest selling vehicle Maruti Alto (TN 45 AJ 0742) on 24th April 2007 with a lot of dreams & hopes and I was happy for making a right choice. The car is the best in all kinds.

                                      But after using the car for few months, I started to hear a metallic rattling noise in the left rear side of the vehicle. In spite of visiting all your MARUTI service centers in TRICHY the problem could not be sorted out. I have visited your workshops more than 20 times for the same problem & the service personnel have tried replacing each & every item (from trim to axle) on trial & error basis. In spite of all this & leaving the car in Kare Trans for a week, the problem could not be identified. They suspected some problem in welding joints & in turn sought the opinion of ABT as well. Unfortunately my car has the same problem even now. Even though I appreciate the effort put in by KARE TRANS - Authorised Maruti Service Centre, the problem still stays and they consider it to be a manufacturing defect, and they advised me to cut & weld the chassis / body to rectify the problem but as it’s a new car I am against for their statement. I don’t want my car to go as a Scrap during warranty period.

                                      Since my vehicle is still under the WARRANTY, I request you to look into and Replace the vehicle urgently as the problem cannot be rectified without cutting & welding the body / chassis. I would appreciate your immediate response on the same.

                                      I have a small child and a working wife. This is too much for me to handle. I am sure that Maruti is Topping JD Power rankings due to excellence in satisfying customers & sorting out their problem. Even when people adviced me to take Legal route, I felt it's better to appeal to you directly. I do have the confidence you would look in to this matter and sort out my problem by Replacing my car as early as Possible. Looking forward to get a Permanent solution.

                                      Re: Maruti Car Swift, Registration No.WB 06 4726, purchased on 12/08/2008 from your authorized dealer, Machino Techno, Kolkata under the Hire Purchase Scheme from HDFC BANK. got damaged due to manufacturing defect.

                                      With reference to the above, I would like to bring to your kind notice with deep heart that while I was driving on 24/11/2008 at 12:00 PM, I suddenly noticed that smoke was coming out from the car over the place inside as well as outside the car, the car was filled up completely with thick smoke, driver and myself was almost suffocating to death, in spite of our repeated trying anxiously, tried to open the door, but the central locking system failed and the doors could not be opened. Somehow with great difficulty, I tried to switch off the car and pulled out the key, in spite of that, the engine was racing with great speed and sound and the smoke was coming with more force inside as well as outside the car. We were almost suffocating to death due the smoke, at that time a huge public as well as police gathered outside and they managed to pull my driver and me out of the car through the window. Police as well as the public, with great difficulty, opened the bonnet of the car and disconnected the battery, then only the engine stopped. In the meantime, we noticed the whole of mechanical parts were burnt out and damaged beyond our imagination. The cooler tank also bursted and diesel and mobil started flowing through the exhaust. Public as well as the police asked us to go away from the car as it might burst and cause damage to human life.

                                      I called up immediately your authorized service dealer ( Motorkrat ) , where I normally get my car serviced. After a detailed inspection of the damaged car, they expressed their inability to repair the car as it was damaged beyond the capacity of their expertise and hence they suggested, they would like to send the car to the dealer from where I had purchased. Your will appreciate that there is some serious manufacturing defect due to which this accident took place and this accident could have caused loss of human life and injury to the people on the streets.

                                      For your kind information, I have a very high opinion about your company, as well as your product, we as well as my family and my friends always go in for your branded product for your Goodwill and Service Excellence to the valued customer. Trust you will look into the case very seriously and do the needful immediately without any delay as I am mentally very much depressed and harassed and inconvenienced as I am not able to use my car, because of the accident. Almost everyday, I use my car for more than 100 kilometers for a day. In the absence of the car, I have to spend a lot of money on public transport like taxis and hired cars. And this is also hampering my professional work where I am working as s Senior Executive.

                                      This is all because of Deficiency in Service due to product with manufacturing defect for which you will be held responsible.
                                      I am really disgusted. I was called by Mr. Amit Adhikary of Machino Techno regarding my car. I am amazed to find out that he is trying to project that the problem was there ealier. wanted to bring to your notice that Mr/. Adhikary inspected the car before taking car. At that point of time my car did not have any issues except some dent and mark.

                                      Now after keeping the car for more that two days he is claiming that my car"s excaust pipe., oil box have broken. I am damm sure that the car was ok when I had given.

                                      If some damage happens when the car is getting repaired thats is not my fault.

                                      More over I have been a loyal customer of maruti since 2001.Nobody till date has not spoken or illbehaved with me that I faced today. When I refused to admit that the damages had not been there, I was told that I should take back my car.

                                      I have given my car for repair for more that a month. I have no clue or any update about the same. Is this the way maruti works. Every time I call up I hear that spare parts not there. Why the company manufactures a car which has no spare parts.

                                      I purchased Maruti Suzuki Swift Dezire on 5/04/2010 from Kapico Motors, Chennai. after just 2 months from the purchase of the vehicle , i started facing starting problems in my vehicle. if i switch off my car and then switch it on the ignistion wont start. i had called up maruti on raod service several times and they told me that the starter was not working and can be replaced under warranty. i was left this problem for more than 3 days and then the kapico mariti took my car for repair telling me that i lll receive the veicle the same day in the evening. after that i received my vehicle after 3 - 4 days . this type of service and defect was not expected from mariti. Why should be there any defect in the cars manufactured. Please compnosate me for my time loss and work held up due to this inappropriate defect from maruti.

                                      I have purchased a Alto in july 2009 from M /S Starline cars Mehsana North gujarat . Having chasis no. 1432693 Engine no. 3703880 model AR Lxi. having completed 3 services. Since my first free service i made it a point to bring it to the notice of service centre that there is a problem with rear wheelss movement. It was jerking slightly but no attention was paid. Now the quantum of jerks is increased and I was told that there is a problem in the rear rib of wheels from factory itself. My car had hardly running 13000 kms. It is really disheartning that despite my constant effort to bring this to the notice of authorised service stations vide Star line Mototrs at Mehsana and Nanda Motors at Kalol. No centre pay due heed to my complaint and now thing has come to such a pass that I havr to ground my car. is anybody listening to it at MARUTI SUZUKI !

                                      I purchased a SUZUKI ACCESS scooter from Millers Suzuki Vasant Nagar bangalore on 5th Feb 2011.after two weeks a annoying sound started while accelarting ,
                                      In Service center they told its a clutch bell probelm and its been replaced , again after one week the sound started and this time the service center person told first the replaced the Bell and now they have changed Belt ,
                                      for 8-9days there was no sound ,
                                      Then Again the same irritating sound has been started
                                      while giving to second service i have clearly told them about the probelm and they told me that he will look after under his supervision and while taking the delivery when i checked with him he told me that this time they have changed entire part and assured me that there will be no problem , i also told him that im going Escalate if the problem exist , he casually replied that its a Manufacturing defect i[censored] escalate they will ask us to change part that;s it, now i am facing the same problem ,the problem is started the same day of service ,

                                      I want to know if it's really a clutchbell problem ,Then y it has even after changing clutch bell ,

                                      I need a solution for this

                                      if the same problem starts in future : is amount going to be refunded ?

                                      i here by want to take a strict action against it.please do look into the issue and make justice with it .now vehicle is on warranty period

                                      I Sanjay Tewari, R/o 88/3 Prem Nagar, Kanpur own a Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Lxi (CNG Model) bearing Registration No. UP78-DB-1374 and Engine No. K10BN7258630. I bought the car in June, 2013. Since then I have been keeping the car well serviced as per the directions in the manual. However, recently there have been too much noise during the running of the car and on checking it has been found out that the tyres of the car have been deformed. The car has only gone 13000 Kms as of now whereas the normal life span of tyres is at least 40, 000 kms. I don't see how tyres can be worn out and specifically deformed at only 13, 000 kms. I have consulted the mechanics and the showroom run service centre where I have been informed that many such complaints have come up before the Complaints department and that such tyres have been replaced. I being a loyal customer of Maruti Suzuki fail to comprehend that how tyres of one year old car can be deformed unless there is a inherent manufacturing defect in the car per se.

                                      I am bringing this complaint to your notice first and hope that you shall take required action at the earliest failing which I shall be constrained to take appropriate legal action against Maruti Suzuki for providing defective cars to customers and duping them of their hard earned money by selling faulty cars.

                                      I had purchased a Maruti Alto K10 (VXI) bearing Chassis No –
                                      MA3EADE1S00490367 on[protected] from Mohon Motor Udyog Pvt Ltd.

                                      After 2-3 months I found that there were 2-3 dents on the
                                      roof of the car. After that I called to the customer care and they guided me to
                                      contact the workshop as soon as possible, so that they can look after the
                                      matter. Then I contacted with One Auto Dealer workshop at Kalikapur Branch,
                                      Kolkata. I had a talk with customer care Manager and she told me to go to the
                                      Science City Branch, Kolkata for a checkup.

                                      After 2-3 months later One Auto Service (Body shop) Engineer
                                      contacted me and took my car to the Maruti Regional Branch, Kolkata (L&T
                                      House). They replied me 2-3 weeks later about the matter .They told that there
                                      was some hopping on the roof of the car. For that reason the roof was dent
                                      which was told by Mr.A.K.Ghosh. He also told that Maruti is not liable to take
                                      any action about this problem.


                                      From here on my question arises:

                                      A)
                                      Will Maruti not take any action to this kind of
                                      problem?

                                      B)
                                      Do Maruti have no belief about the customer feed
                                      back?

                                      C)
                                      Do Maruti
                                      have the worst service among all the car companies in India?

                                      Mr.A.K.Ghosh also told me that as my car
                                      travelled less kilometers & for Maruti good will they will take action to recover
                                      the dent and will not take any responsibility further. That means he did not
                                      believe that it was a manufacturing defect and repeatedly told me that the dent
                                      was due to hopping. Most of the time my car stays in garage which is fully
                                      covered. Can you tell me how the hopping occurred?

The sales executive made me believe that said wagon r car is made of quality materials which assure durability and stability. You are here by informed that on[protected], while the car driven in a straight smooth road, left wheel drum of the car broke and car was turtle down, there by the entire car was damaged. By god’s grace my son who was driving the car was saved without much injury. The car met with the accident since the wheel drum was broken and the same is a clear example o[censored]se of inferior quality of material for the making of car. The wheel drum is claimed to be made of best quality cast iron. Even if the car is repaired, I am not in a position to believe that the same will not be repeated since it is proved that the car is made of inferior quality goods. The car is only 4 years old and the same was maintained by me in an excellent manner. The insurance coverage for the car will not wipe of my loss and uncertainty in future. In these circumstances I call upon you to show your positive response being a reputed car maker in India and request you to replace the car with another car. You may consider this as a notice and take positive action without fail. I once again remind you that a repaired car will not meet my demand made here.                                       Gold coin business, is it a cheating?

                                      I purchased one swift dzire from popular kothamangalam. They offered 2 gram gold coin. I took delivery of car one month back. When I they say different - different excuses. I do not know what is happening. l like to know that.

                                        I have booked Swift Dzire VDI Pearl Mettalic Artic White in Vasanthi AutoMobiles, Pondicherry by paying Rs 84, 670 on 31th March2008 and paid the remaining amount Rs 4, 96, 000 on 24th June 2008.The authority told me on the booking date that "We will give the vehicle within 2 months".Nearly 7 months had gone but still we didnt get the vehicle.Those who have booked after us got the vehicle.When I approached the authority, they didnt give responsible answer and also gave mental disturbance by making me to wait for hours in the show room and in the workshop.

                                        So I request you to take the immediate action for me to get the vehicle.

                                        I Dr. Rupam Ghosh Dastidar, Anauthestic, Panchet Hill Hospital, DVC, a resident of Qtr. NO. MED-2A, Ranchi Colony, Maithon, Jharkhand bought one Maruti SWIFTUXI Reg. No. WB06-9740 from Jalan Distributor Kolkata, West Bengal on 27.11.2008. My car met an accident on 05.12.2008 evening at Sanjay Chowk, Maithon, Jharkhand, I dly had taken the vehicle at Beekay Motors. Asansol Maruti Distributors on 06.12.2008 for repair works of the car, which is duly ensured by Bajaj Allinz till date (15.12.2008) morning I have been asking wont the progress of the work my vehicle but I am not exactly informed by them. Please instruct the Beekay Motors to help a Doctor in his need. Where the works hang and when i will get my car back.

REC09006525. But i haven't recd the delivery yet. They have also taken Rs. 2, 50000 from me 45 days back. The dealer always gives me the date of next week. He is saying that he is not getting the delivery from co. itself. Now he is saying that co. is temporary shut down for next 15 days. I am not able to believe on his words. Should i cancell the booking. Pl help me out in this matter.
