[Resolved]  Micromax — mobile phone not working properly

I purchased micromax q 4251 in the beginning of March of this year. After a month o[censored]sage the phone shut off and there was no display coming. I had given the handset to the authorized service centre in Vijaynagar in Bangalore and they told me that the battery had to replace and that they will give me the handset in 48 hrs. After a week I had called them and they said they had no battery in stock and they told me that they needed another week to get the battery. Finally last week on 10 Nov 2017 Friday I got a call from the service centre telling me that my phone is ready and that I could come by and collect it. Infact the service centre charged me 900 rs for a new battery and I tried explaining to them that I had given the handset to them for service in April and according to the instruction manual, the battery and charger and other accessories have a warranty period of 6 months. But the service centre told me since the job was done in November the battery was out of warranty and I had to pay for it which I did.
As of today this very moment, the handset worked for 2 days and as of Monday 13 Nov 2017, the handset is still facing the same issue. This is my sincere request to those who are interested in Micromax products please refrain from buying any product of micromax since it is a great waste of time and a complete waste of money.
