[Resolved]  Nokia — unhappy servicing Center

Hi,
I bought the nokia 7710 from nokia dealer but, the cell phone was getting hang and the switched off but every time they gave it back and said ur cell phone is ok , but now my cellphone doesn't switch On and my warranty period is also expired, And then when I went to nokia Servicing Center under HCL Ulubari, Guwahati after giving my cellphone to nokia they said to contact them after 5 or 6 days, when I contact nokia servicing center they replied me my phone is ok . but doesn't happen. Well I was really shocked.So, when I went there still my problem is same and also they said that they can't repaired.
Therefore, I would like to say you that please kindly look this matter seriously...... and hope you will solve very soon.....!!!

you guys are pethatic, in terms of support/ services, you guys are zero, my mobile 5610 express music is under warranty, but you guys are not ready to services it, now you have rejected, by saying, there is water inside phone, every time you have excuses to reject the phone for not to service it.

My self ARPIT JAIN using nokia cell phone from long time but this time im using ur mobile nokia 3120classic i faced few of prblem in this mobile thats y i have given this phone 2 ur nokia care 4 repair coz its in warranty as on 20th jan 2009.
this phone's bill is on the name of Mr. MADAN MOHAN BANSAL and i have given this phone at PARREK MOBILE CARE 314 VIJAY PATH, TILAK NAGAR< JAIPUR
when i go there they always says my cell is coming after 2 days i have visited ur center more then 8times and last time on 6th march i go there and talk 2 the authority person there when im talking to that person he used abused words and language and there was a girl who use 2 abused language
coz of this kind of respect by ur company im going 2 do leagel steps and im just informing u

I bought a nokia 7210 supernova dated 4-jan-2009 and by 25 jan 09 it became dead. then i summit it to nokia care center in roorkee. it has been 1.5 months he is saying take your mobile tomorrow or day after tomorrow and today they gave it back to me saying thad its guarante is void .

I feel ashamed of the Nokia dealer tecnicians that they made my mobile nothing, my mobile dropped down in water and as soon as i removed the battery and approached the nokia dealer in kanyakumari District and they found the complaint as Sim Card Not accepted and Memory card not accepted but all other functions are Good, They adviced me to Approach the chennai dealer so that they can replace the iC ASAP, I have given the mobile with display and functioning and only with the same above said problem, after two days when I approached they returned back the mobile dead saying that it cannot be repaired, Now the surprise is I approached the local mobile technician with the dead mobile as they opened it and said the one who has opened the mobile before has played on the board and thatswhy it is not working, Now they made it function now I am using it without Memory card Acceptance+The camera is also not working.Everything except the above said problem was working Now if the Nokia people itself doing this how can I trust in further purchase, is this the way they should, find me a solution

nokia 5220 xpressmusic — hanging, not charging

i bought my mobile almost 4 months ago with great curiosity. but i got dissappointed very much bcos whenever i tried to play songs it got hangd up/ switched off. also as time passed on charging the phone almost takes 5 hours. and it lasts for less than a day. s.no is [protected]. when i contacted nearby nokia care, i was asked to hand over my phone for 2 days to get repaired, but got no explanation.
as i could not be without contacts for 2 days i am helpless. kindly do the need full.

i am livng in the city called rishikesh, uttarakhand.i am the continous user of nokia brand from last 4 years. but last year in may i purchased the nokia 6500s black from your nokia dealer named as laxmi computers. its IMEI no is [protected].and from that day till today it is causing me lots of problem like screen blanking, not accepting the memory card, no ringing on calls and many more. today date is 31 st march and i have not used it even for 1 week continously. now 1 year warranty is going to finish.and you have not solved my problem.phone is still with nokia care in rishikesh.and they are planning to send it to company 2 time.
so now i am really fad up and have no trust in you and your brand.your nokia care service center are just useless and nothing but just to make fool of people.i have shown enough patience and now its a time to do some action.if you could not do anthing to me I WILL TAKE HELP OF LAW AND MEDIA.my phone is with you and i want new phone with warranty or my money back.

i purchased a set of nokia on 28th nov after one month it have some problem. Sir when i start the camera and take two or three pictures it restarts. i purchased this set from nokia prority delaler jammu tawi (j&k)

I have purchased NOKIA 3110C model cell Mfg year 2008 purchased on 26.12.2008.
It is automatically switching off and automatically deliging programmes. We have approached Tarnaka - Hyderabad Nokia care centre on 23.03.2009, 29.03.2009, 04.04.09 and 07.04.2009.
Every time they are telling some silly answers and partially rectifying and giving back.
This is too much and by doing some unfair servicing the nokia care people are sending out.
The real problem is that the electronic equipment is a failure model and it is my sincere request to all the viewers that ldo not go for NOKIA 3110c model.

Nokia cdma 6275 — Inferior set was given

I have bought a new nokia set on 29/03/2009, invoice number[protected].That set already had humididty in it n the shopkeeper did not tell us this. unfortunately i got chichen pox on very next day n I could not check it, but when i used it, it got switched off n never got switched on. I took it to nokia care now they say that it can not be repaired under warrantee and i have to pay Rs.1890.
Since the hand set was not perfectly ok why they are making me pay that extra amount .

I would request here to do the justice with me, and get me my money back.

Nokia — selling the mobile at high price due to shortage

It is very sad to note that there is no control over the dealers appointed by the company authority in our ahmednagar district as one of the dealer named as Priority nokia shoppee, situated in ahmednagar, when i went to buy nokia mobile three months ago (nokia 7210) there i was told that there is a single peace of this number and its company price is 5, 300 but as the peace is short and unavailable u have to pay Rs.-6, 500 for the same, if you want this cell phone, then i was dissatisfied with the statement made in the authorised show room of nokia and i buy another cell phone of samsung company but i am still in attraction of that model as my other friends have the same and had brought from pune at company price, as i would have buyed from pune but it was late, please advice the same.

It was Feb 14 - Valentine Day when my wife gifted me Nokia 5610 Xpress Music Phone. The next itself, I found the problem of auto on off which I referred to the shop Vasavi, T Nagar where it was purchased. They guided me to Nokia Care opposite to their showroom - Raksha Impex, T Nagar. They took around 5 days. Soon after 1 day, the problem persist. This time again we referred it to Raksha Impex but the same was returned in same condition. I took it asking for final conclusion but reply was - Sir try using using without memory card. Do not use bluetooth for transfer of data. Use systems for downloading any data. I asked them, why is the feature given in this phone, if software do not support this. Problem is not yet defined and I am suffering badly. I requested for replacement but they insisted for formatting the memory card and reinstalling phone software. I asked them to do so as a final try. Still phone use to restart once in a day at least.
Sorry to say phone is still not in working condition and I have lost my faith in Raksha Impex, T nagar branch (Nokia care). I am unable to understand how to proceed further. Please help. Need replacement. Can't utilise the service for more than a month. What for Nokia still selling this set?

My name is Priyanko Sinha. I bought a Fly Mobile (Model-Hammer) from Delhi on 25th Oct, 2008 (as I was staying in Delhi) and I have taken the Hot Spot Care Pack to secure my Mobile.

On 4th of Apr, 2009 the LCD of my mobile got broken and I had submitted my mobile to Hot Spot Store (Address- 334, Jessore Road, Shop No WI, Ground Floor, Near Kalindi, Kolkata – 700089) as I relocated to Kolkata. Job sheet-No 003, Book No-934, Location Code-487, Location-Kolkata (Kalindi).


1st of all, like to tell you the Store Manager Mr. Ravi [protected](Don’t Know the last name) was so rude and he does not know how to handle customers. He kept me sat for 45 min due to some urgent work he stated but when any new customer is coming to the shop he is attending leaving all his urgent work. Its show that he does not value old customer as he already paid the money to you. Then he attended me and told me that you will get your mobile on 25th Apr, 2009. When I asked him why so long, he told me the part is not available right now. I asked him but in the Service Job Sheet under Terms and Condition for repair it’s written “The customer should take the delivery of the product with in 14 days of written intimation (Step No 9)”. When I asked him it’s written here then why you are delaying so much. He replied “Please take the number of service person who will be repairing your mobile. His name is Mr. Hiren (Don’t know last name) mobile number [protected] (Working at Service Center 29, Girish Park, Viveka Nanda Road Kolkata)”. When I asked Mr. Ravi what was his full name as I wanted to complain about him he told “I will not give you my full name”.

Then I start calling Mr. Hiren (Service person) from 18th Apr, 2009 to know the status and I came to know still the part was not available and it has not being delivered. My question is “Is the part is coming from abroad as it was taking so much long to get delivered from Delhi?” He has no reply just saying “I know I can understand”. What the hell Mr. Hiren was talking about? What you understand? Its 18 days without a mobile and still he is saying it will take long time.

I am sorry to inform this is really PATHETIC and this is NOT EXCEPT ABLE from such a Brand Name. Don’t know whether this is going work or not as I am writing so long but like to tell you I a law student and if this continues long I will report this to Consumer Court as my dad is a consumer lawyer then that will be your problem. As your people are saying “it’s not our problem, we are not getting the part”.

So, please look into this and expecting an answer from you.

I had purchased new Nokia's Handset 5800 music xpress with above IMEI
Number in the month of 18 January 2009.It worked fine but aftert one
month then problem started.When we make or recieve a call the phone
keypad locksup.In 27 Feb.2009 I gave it to the Authoraized nokia care
S S Services 96/2, star press building Chunniganj, Kanpur.They kept it
with them for 20 days after that They Had no Respoance.After that
Whenever I visit the centre for it they just tell one week more or 20
days more.After two month in 29 apr 2009 they call and sms me that
your set is ok plz take it.I went Nokia care center that is 4th time
whnn i went to The center to spoiled my time and money.i again found
the same issue.When i requested them to replace it, they refused.I
have never expected such kind of bad service from Nokia.Now I Have no
belive in nokia phones and nokia services.now u tell hou much time i
wait for my mobile...When nokia kept my phone then my phone looking
new but after 2 month my phone is looking bad I can not take it plz
Replace my phone immeadatly.
I have become very much frustrated as i am not able to do anything

Hoping this mail finds you well. Kindly note I have a complain regarding nokia branch, as I bought an E51 handset and after 8 months there was an accident. And when I went to Wady El Neil branch they replaced it with another one with 600LE (which was logic and fair enough).
But in the same time, when they replaced it to me I was using another handset so I did not try it as I supposed that I am dealing with an honest person representing a multinational company. 5 months later, when I wanted to us it I discovered that the replaced handset is not working and no one can hear me from the other side completely. I went to the same branch again in order to fix it. They toke it and after a day they informed me that the handset cannot be fixed and they had to send it to the main branch. 3 days later, I called in order to check on my device and I was shocked when they told me that the phone is miss used.
1. How come a professional engineer like the one in the branch did not find it miss used and the other one in the main branch did?
2. Phone was in perfect condition as I did not use it completely. How can you tell me that the mother board was damaged and this caused that kind of error, while the phone was never used?
3. Is it my fault that I trusted a respectable company and its representative?
4. must I doubt you like any other street seller and test every option in the device before leaving the branch to the extend that I have to make the simplest option in the phone; making a phone call!!!

Thank you for giving assurance for providing best services, but today I feel said to write the story which I faced as under:
I am a brand Nokia person who is using Mobile phone from almost 10 years. I have always used Nokia models as my handsets. Reason to use is simple that I have never faced any problems with the cell phones earlier. But in last year on 06.02.08. I purchased Nokia N-95 model being it was a hit model, but this time my experience o[censored]sing brand Nokia shattered. In few months after purchase this phone was start troubling, in the month of October it starts giving me a unidentified problem. The problem which I was facing is unique, it says ‘insert sim card’ even after replacing Sim card, then it says ‘card not recognised’. After that it went offline.
I have changed the Sim card from my service provider ‘Vodafone’ twice in the month of November and February, but the problem still stands. This problem still continued. In the meanwhile the Nokia care centre people were just passing by the time saying it will be done in few days. They updated its software also, as told us.
Firstly I gave the cell phone to m/s Microness Telecom, authorised Nokia care centre, C-4, Sector 2 Noida in the month of October. The receiving slip which they had issued was not computerised receipt but a manual receipt, which can be cross checked by your company with the dealer. From October to February we had sent the cell phone thrice for repair.
On 03rd February 2009 (Job sheet no. 1802) we again complained the Nokia Care Centre that why they are not able to sort out the problem (complaint no. 2-3ttp60, this time we asked the dealer to book under computerised receipt of Nokia Care, which was told to us by Nokia call centre). We even discussed that the warranty is going to over on 06th February 09, the dealer told us that extension would be given to us being the problem was persisting since last October. This dealer then denied the warranty factor on 07th March 09.
They kept the cell phone for over a period of one month with them and after that on 07th march 09 they gave us back the cell phone after repair. Job sheet No.[protected]/090307/58 complaint no. 2-3ttp60.
But we sent them back same day being the problem still persist. They gave us the cell phone back on 12th March, but again sent back because the problem still stands. Job sheet No. 1389
On 12th March 2009 again we sent back the cell phone to the dealer, he kept it for 2 days and given the cell phone back on 14th, (Job sheet No. 1389) saying it’s ok now. But the problem still stands.
On 14th March 2009 we again sent the cell phone to the dealer, this time he said that he will sent the cell phone to Head service station of Nokia, we complained with this Nokia care centre. They kept the cell phone with them till 07th April 09. After keeping the cell phone for a period of over one month the dealer told us that the cell phone is now tempered, hence nothing can be done. Here I get the biggest shock of my life; I can’t believe how my cell phone can get tampered if it’s with the dealer. The dealer then give us the cell phone back, I was in a state of shock.
We have no other option left but to rush to another Nokia Care Centre 07th April 09 ‘Mannat Telecom, C-10, 1st Floor, Sector 10, Noida. (Job sheet No. 811) He told us that the cell phone will be repaired at a cost between Rs.[protected]; despite clearly told us the phone is tampered. Being I have no other option left other than to pay the money to came out of the depression, I okay it to pay whatsoever be the price for my Nokia Phone. He kept the cell phone with him till today the 05th May 2009, said that some parts are stolen from the cell phone. Now the dead cell phone is with me only, am looking at it and thus writing Nokia about how the authorised dealers of Nokia behave with the customers and tarnish the brand value of Nokia, the largest selling cell phone in India and in the world.
Request is hereby made that please look into this matter and save my hard earned money and my passion for Nokia, before I break down. I have put a lot of effort and precious time to get my Nokia repaired, which if calculated will worth over few lack till now.
What need to be done by Nokia?
1. Please replace my Nokia N 95 with 8 GB with a new Cell phone or a better version.
2. Please take action against the dealer who took me for a ride since October till now.
3. Please save the brand loyalty of Nokia- a lovable cell phone.
Hoping to receive a favourable reply from Nokia soon, I will leave with no other option to go to legal proceedings against the company.
