Dear Sir,

I had submitted my mobile phone model Nokia N5610 1d expressMusic Edition for service in warranty to Care point Care point kolkata at everest mobicare, chandni chowk.from there i got another mobile that is swapped set in that set too i have started getting problem two days after receiving that swapped set.i have become fade up off going to nokia care from last 5 months.and in lieu of that i got nothing except false promises.on april 19 2009 my warranty will be finished and from last 5 month my set was lying there in the nokia care and the people over there just wasted my time and money.now i will go to the court and media if my set was not exchanged with in this month january 2009.
I am really frustrated to hear lame excuses and so long time to clear one small problem from a company which claims to be number one in Mobile phones. but sorry to say that the service which you provide to the customers is really pathetic...What im planning to do is to go to the media and consumer court to get back the due amount

My name is S.Gokulakrishnan .My mobile number is [protected] .Iam using nokia 5300 model . I purchased the mobile on 2/4/2008 .. yesterday night still 9.00pm (13/5/2008) my mobile was working fine .. i waked up around 1.00am in the midnight to getup ready to go for my job as it was nightshift .AT that time i see there was small white line in very middle bottom of the display screen .so i decided to give to the nokia service center at anna salai in chennai after coming back from my shift .. But each and every hour the white line turned black and more white line followed horizontally next to that . so i afraid of mobile . I reached the nokia service center around 2.00pm in the afternoon .. i went to a front office girl who called me to know my issue on the mobile .. i showed my mobile to her . she told me the lcd was broken without checking the mobile more than that she was not a technician to decide that .. i explained her that it was not broken .. than she called a guy crossed the cabin she showed the mobile stating the mobile looked like cracked .. the guy too agreed .. than i shouted to show the mobile to techician to open the display to check the issue .. finally they taken the mobile to the technician .. and they came back again informing it was broken only.. but i explained them the mobile was not dropped, no liquid spilled on it and more than no pressure given to the mobile as it was a brand new mobile i'm taking care of it like a child .. the nokia service care people say they nothing cant do anything else more .. they want me to pay Rs.2500 to get the lcd replaced .. but i dint dropped the mobile or damaged the mabile or spilled liquid on it .. but they arguing with me that it was damage and they wont help me anymore.. they want me to call the nokia service careline call centre .. they given the call center number also to me ..
Here the second scenerio started . i called the nokia careline Mr.Arthur pickedup the call but he was not able to hear me and he hungup the call .. again i called Mr.Sathish pickedup the call but he was not able to hear me and he hungup the call .. then only i realised the mobile mic was not working .. i told them that the mic is not working .. A guy called Anand told that i may dropped the mobile down .. so first the dispaly gone bad now the speaker gone bad .. they not allowed me to speak .. finally i told them while closing the panel after checking the display .the speaker may not be placed properly .. then they placed the panel and the speaker properly and again i tried to call nokia careline i reached Ms.mitha she was able to hear me ( so the technician in the nokia center without checking the mobile informing it was a damage) . and i explained the issue to mitha .. mitha talked the center manager in the nokia service center .. and she also begin to say it was a damage problem in the mobile ... finally i was helpless .. she begin argue with me she not at all responded me at any point she want me to take the mobile to other service center .. she not at all understand me at any point and keep on interupting me in call .. I called from chennai i making a STD call from there to reach the callcenter in bangalore i spent almost 40 minutes .. finally she told me to go other service center .. Then i requested for for supervisor ..again she argued with me not transfering the call to supervisor .. she placed me on hold for more than 5 minutes and then she told a supervisor will give a call around 5.00pm in the evening .. again i called nokia careline Mr.Sridar pickedup the call and promised me the same .. MR.Mohan the center manager of nokia saying that if the mobile was damage they wont get the lcd claim from nokia .. please note the word "if" .. it means that thay are not sure it was damage or ordinary problem .. they are not working for customer satisfaction they are entirely working for only money satisfaction ..
Finally I received a call from Ms.shreeja around 4.50pm in the evening .. again i explained to her about the issue on my mobile .. she says that what a nokia technician informs will be the final statement.. then why you need cutomer care ??? ... she says that it was a damage problem only in the mobile as the technician told .. than i asked for a written statement stating that a nokia technician handled the mobile and he founded it was only a damage problem not covering under hardware warrenty .. but the nokia care service center manager also denied to give me that statement .. and shreeja also denied to give me the statement she also supporting only the nokia care people .. WHY you are afraiding meto give the statement if it was a damage problem as they say ??????????.. finally Ms.shreeja also want me to step into other service center .. then why we have to call the nokia careline ????.. what is the use of it ??? .. do you think i dont know any other service center in chennai ???.. if i called nokia care line they want me to contact the nokia care .. if i went to the nokia care they say it was damage problem .. i was not agree with it .. they want me to call nokia careline .. I WAS FOOLED AROUND ... If i want to step into another nokia center then why i want to call nokia careline what is the use of it ???? ..
I'm working for DELL as a Sr.Technical executive .. and also i worked for HP as TEchnical executive .. my job profile is used work with electronic machine .. so i know well it was not a damage problem .. it was fault in the LCD of the mobile ... but no one is ready to hear my words .. if it is a damage problem it will look like a crack .. but when i turned of my mobile it was looking brownish in the corner .. I never dropped the laptop, , , never spilled any liquid on it more than it was not under any pressure before .. it was the problem in the pixels not with the entire lcd .. But still they want tome to pay for waht it was not .. AND then i called techician working there personnaly .. he saying that there are aome possibilities are there klike this to happen ... but if they sent the lcd to nokia and if tehy not getting claim for that then it will be loss for their shop .. i know well they are not direct nokia care center they are the outsourcing people for nokia .. If they have doubt i 'm ready to bring a techician to proove it was not a damage problem .. but plaese try to understand my position .. inever did any mistake then why i have to pay ? .. the nokia care is afraiding to get the claim from nokia ..so they want me to pay for that .. i want my rights .. being it was a common issue with lcd they not ready to replace it since i have warrenty ..BUT PLEASE I NEED HELPPPPPPPPP

After one week when i call the center he saying that this phone is tampered, i was shocked, how can this possible, and on which jobesheet he saying phone tampered i check this job sheet status on internet and i check that phone is repaird and jobsheet status is closed...
now i cant understand the service lavel of nokia care
why company not check my phone is tampered in first or seciond time why he say in fourth time, now i am thinking about to go consumer fourm with the record of jobsheet taken

Nokia 5610 — unreliability with scroll bar

this is regarding Nokia 5610, the scroll bar of the cell easily breaks and there is no replacement for it, though i bought it jus 3 months back and its in warranty period.Still there is no one to resolve my problem even after attending nokia care center.
I have purchased an Nokia 3110 classic in fourmonth back.But the mobile restarts for every minute when i am in connect with GPRS. Could you specify me the solution for it.
i have nokia n82-1 imei no. [protected] i gave set at dexters digital lab asc 380_434038 rohini sec 3 near m2k delhi the delery date is gone they dont give any ans and my mobile is in warranty but when i saw jobsheet they wright no warranty last time when gave set display of set is black now they say that set is broken

And after five days my mobile phone is going switched off mode permanently (it was working very slow, its speaker sound was very low and it got switched off permanently)
I submited the phone to Nokia Serviece Center "Ace Communication, 13 kapil vihar pitam pura delhi".
But till date i didnt recieve the mobile set.

I tried to contact Nokia many times through different medium i.e. Phone, through internet, I also visited to Service Centre daily in a days to check the status of my report but not a single person who say the truth that what is going on, when i will recieve my phone or not.

I am without a phone for approx a month, which is a basic need for life.
Due to this I am going through mental stress and lot of inconvenience as I have other liabilities too and important work to do. Due to not availability of my Phone I am unable to Contact anyone and wise versa, and I lost Rs.10000 to Rs.12, 000 in these days, who will responsible for this.

Now I am fully dissatisfy with the services and need to get my Phone Replaced (new set), or my amount with the suitable interest rate and compensation, else I will file a complaint with the Consumer Court under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.

I seek compensation for the mental agony caused due to his deficiency in services and inconvenience faced due to no availability of my Phone for almost one month.

I purchased a NOKIA N72 new hand set on 12.05.08 from dealer SAHEJ COMMUNICATION & MOBILES, Koti, Hyderabad. The dealer gave me a bill for the next day dtd 13.05.08 as he said that it was 9pm then.

I was surprised and absolutely perplexed to find the set absolutely white and blank when i put it for charging and the set would not work at all. The display would intermittently come and disappear.

I went to the dealer the next day i.e 13.05.08 morning and the dealer said he would get it replaced and he needs all the details including the bill and accessories to be returned back to the organisation.He further said he would get a new set as a replacement in a couple of days' time.

Nothing as happened as yet and the dealer is taking me for a ride. Perhaps the customer's hard earned money doesnt hold value for the dealer and your organisation.

Should i continue to wait or do i take a legal action...???

Dear Sir,

1. I am the unfortunate owner of above referred hand set. My hand set is still with Nokia Service Centre and it has been at Service Centre for more number of days as compared to number of days I could use it.

2. Right from the beginning, from the date of my purchase, the hand set was giving me problems and the same was given repeatedly at Nokia Service Centre at Green Park Extension, New Delhi. The various job sheet nos. are[protected], 237795, 243312, 244742, 248156, 251418 etc.

3. In September, 2007 (Job Sheet No.248156), during my visit at Green Park Service Centre I met Mr. Rajiv and Mr. Prakash of Nokia and HCL Service Centre and briefed them regarding repeated problems of my hand set.

4. I am thankful to them for giving me patient hearing and I was assured by both the senior officers that necessary action would be taken. In fact they had taken copy of job sheet with my request note written on the copy. I was also assured that either a brand new fresh piece would be given to me or otherwise equivalent model of fresh new hand set shall be provided.

5. During my subsequent visits, I learnt that Model 6270 has been discontinued by Nokia and as such the fresh new hand set could not be given to me.

6. On my various repeated visits to Nokia service centre, the service centre would offer me a repaired old hand set of Model 6270 which is not acceptable to me and as such I had not taken the delivery of repaired set.

7. I had contacted Nokia Care Centre (Tel. No.[protected] in November, 2007 and again in January, 2008. under reference No.2-2KPKHR. I was again assured by Customer Care Centre representative at Bangalore for conveying the necessary instructions to replace the hand set by a fresh new hand set or equivalent new model. In fact in my subsequent calls, the representative informed that the case has been closed as the action has been taken by the Service Centre, New Delhi.

8. On my repeated visits to Nokia Service Centre at Green Park, New Delhi I was conveyed by the Sr. officers of Service Centre that the fresh new hand set or equivalent new model or credit note can only be given under Nokia's instructions, since, no such instructions have been received, Centre can only give old repaired hand set.

9. You would appreciate that I had purchased the hand set costing about Rs.18, 000/- ~ Rs.20, 000/- and do expect such expensive hand set to perform without any problems specially a product of Nokia which has a world wide reputation of quality. I had in fact suggested to all concerned including Mr.Rajiv and Mr. Prakash that a credit note should be given to me so that I can visit any Nokia dealer and take another model since Model 6270 has been discontinued.

Since all my visits to Nokia Service Centre at Green Park, Delhi and my telephonic calls to Care Centre 30303838 have not given any positive response, on the other hand I was treated like a Ping-pong ball between Nokia Care Centre and Service Centre, New Delhi. I am taking this opportunity to address my grievances directly to you.

10. I am sure that you would take necessary action and resolve the issue in providing me with a new hand set or a credit note so that I can take new set.

11. I am sure you will resolve my problems and Nokia shall stand by their world wide reputation of quality and the service that they claim to provide in International Market.

You would appreciate that I have been very patient with Nokia and expected positive results. I feel that Nokia Service Care Centre have taken advantage of my politeness / patience and not resolved my case.

I await your immediate response and expect positive solution.
