(1) INTRODUCTION

(I the consumer S K Garg is working in M/s Alpha G: Corp Development Pvt. Ltd., 5 Aradhana Enclave, New Delhi-66 is working as a Deputy G. M. Technical and looking after the operations, maintenance and construction of the commercial centers. Considering my nature of job my company has decided to provide me the mobile phone for the official use. I purchased one Nokia make (Model Number 3220) mobile phone from M/s Rupz Carz & Phonz, 10165, Padam Singh Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005 on dated 17.09.2005 vide cash memo number 1266 for value of Rs. 6500.00 who are the authorized dealers of Nokia. At the time of purchasing the set the Owner of the shop convinced me about the facilities of the mobile set and about the service network of Nokia. I purchased the set by paying full payment.

(2) TRANSACTION

Purchase Details:
1. Dealer: Rupz Carz & Phonz, 10165, Padam Singh Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005.
2. Date of Purchase: 17.09.2005.
3. Prduct purchase: 1Number Nokia mobile-3220 (No.[protected]
4. Amount Paid: Rs. 6500.00 in cash.
5. Warranty: by Rupz Carz & Phonz Through their principles M/s Nokia India and service dealers.

(3) DEFECT/DEFICIENCY

Repair Details:

1. First Complaint (Telephonic) to M/s Rupz Carz & Phonz, 10165, Padam Singh Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005 regarding the deterioration of the rubber side panels within 2 months time but I was told that the rubber parts are not covered under warranty and moreover the same is not available in the market therefore the same was purchased from the outside.

2. Charging Problems: As per the advice of the said dealer the set was deposited to the nearest service center, Time Emporium, S-8, Green Park market, New Delhi-110016 on 06.07.2006 and I was told that the set shall be sent to the company for the repair (Refer Service Job Sheet- N.[protected]/060706/14 wherein the Warranty Reference Number was given as APAINY[protected] and IMEI NO. [protected] instead of [protected]. The set was not traced in the company, when I contacted on the Nokia’s customer cell on dated 08.07.2006, 12.07.2006, 19.07.2006 (The complaint number has been given to me 2#1B4ZEV), finally I got the repaired set from the same Service center and the complaint was closed on 19.07.2006 but M/s Nokia was still to receive the set.

3. Problem repeats: Immediately after receiving the repaired set the multiple problems occurred and when I contacted to the Nokia customer Care I had been told to deposit the set on their service center, I once again submitted the same set to Time Emporium, S-8, Green Park market, New Delhi-110016 on 02.08.2006 vide manual service job sheet number 0518258 with the corrected IEMI No. [protected] and they told me that this is a repetition of the job therefore it will go the company for thorough checkup and mentioned the “II Time repetition & Phone Dead”.

4. After a week time I contacted the Customer Cell on 07.08.2006, 07.08.2006, 10.08.2006, 11.08.2006, 12.08.2006, 17.08.2006, 18.08.2006, 21.08.2006, 23.08.2006, 24.08.2006, 26.08.2006, 29.08.2006, 01.09.2006, 02.09.2006, 06.09.2006 but no satisfactory answer was given by the customer cell and they were not able to trace my mobile set even as on today.

5. When I inquired from Time Emporium, S-8, Green Park market, New Delhi-110016 on 19.08.2006 then great to my surprise I was told that my set is out of warranty and they asked for the photocopy of the bill, which I forwarded to them on 21.08.2006 but now they mentioned the IEMI No. [protected], Job Warranty: Yes and Repeated Job: No. Please Refer Service Job sheet No.[protected]/060821/124 dated 21.08.2006.

6. I was continuously following to the Nokia’s Customer cell but there was no proper feed back from their side.

7. I complained through their website but I am yet to receive any reply from them.

In view of the above chronology of the complaints and the information’s gathered from my friends I am of the opinion that the particular model number of the Mobile Set is having manufacturing fault and M/s Nokia as not able to provide the after sale services. Their Authorized service centers are not capable of handling the complaints and moreover their customer care staff who is sitting in the Bangalore office is simply befooling the customers. Now as on today the warranty has been expired reasons best known to M/s Nokia and their authorized sales dealers. M/s Rupz Carz & Phonz, 10165, Padam Singh Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005, authorized sales dealers should be instructed to sell the third class product.

(4) RECTIFICATION

In addition to the above I represented my case to the Core Center, consumer Online resources & Empowered center, Ministry of consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, department of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of India. (copy of the letter enclosed); I am yet to receive the reply from M/s Nokia.

(5) OTHER PROVISIONS

Breach of trust by a company of repute like Nokia.

I would like to inform you that i had purchased a nokia 6600 from dealer dot com, pyne electronic, akhan bazar, chinsurah, hooghly, 712101 west bengal, india, mobil no +91 [protected] on 03/05/2006. I had sent it for servicing via dealer on 01/05/2007. I received the set on date 14/05/2007. After coming from servicing, i find my set not working properly. There is a problem with the keypad and the joystick. When i approached the dealer to send it to your service station to verify the problem - he refused to do so, and insisted on me visiting it personally. After many requests also he was adamant on not sending the set to you service station. I fail to understand what kind of after sales service are your esteemed dealers providing the customers.
Re: Nokia

On the subject issue it is to be intimated that I purchased a NOKIA handset Model no. 6060v, IMEI No. [protected] from the local dealer 'Arvisha Stores' Dahod (Guj) on 12.03.07. From the very beginning the battery started to discharge completely within 35-40 hours even on days when handset remained unused. On making complaint, the battery was replaced by the dealer but the problem of quick discharge could not be overcome. Thereafter a new problem emerged while unfolding the phone. The handset remains partially open even after pressing fully. The matter was referred to 'NOKIA Care Center' Ahmedabad through the dealer along with handset but the same was returned unattended classifying the problem as physical damage. Lastly 'NOKIA Care Center' remarked that the problem can not be covered under warranty repair.

The explanation given by the 'NOKIA Care Center' is not susceptible for the reason that on falling, dropping or hitting dent marks or scratches will first appear on outer surfaces of handset. On the contrary my handset looks as good as new. Secondly all its systems are functioning properly. If the phone had fallen, it would have been damaged from out side too and its functioning affected adversely.

It is therefore requested to arrange to replace this defective piece by a new one issuing necessary instructions to the dealer.

I had purchased Nokia 6300 I.M.E.I. [protected] DATED 04-06-07 bill NO 3574 from Subhiksa Store sco 91 SECTOR 5 Panchkula (Haryana)last week. No doubt the set is good in all aspects but the battery backup is very poor. After receiving one to two heavy calls the battery goes down. Although I haven't shown this thing to Customer care.
I purchased NOKIA 6275 on[protected] .Its back cover was loose since purchase. After a few weeks, a part of back cover came out even without falling of phone.On showing to nokia service center, they said that it was broken by falling on floor. But when I asked them to show any other marks on phone to prove their point, they simply returned the phone and asked to complain NOKIA care. Nokia care also did not take responsibility to change defective cover. Even today all new 6275 phones can be seen with loose back covers.

Also only 1 hour of talking gets its battery down while company claims 4 hours talktime. I remember my old L G phone which mistakenly fell from first floor and amazingly and it got only a few scratches. IT is still working even after 2 years of that incidence.

Can I know the outcome of the case or the progress of the case? I am myself planning to sue Nokia in Consumer Court of India over sale of faulty 6080. I have already posted an article on this website related to the same issue.

Nokia3220 — cover not changed

Dear Sir,
I have changed my mobile body from your mobile store, Indrapuri, BHEL, Bhopal on3rd Sep, 08.
But within a week there is problem in the body, which i reported to shop(MrBrijesh Singh), but since than they are giving a deaf ear to my problem.I have visited your shop somany times, but every time they are making excues without solving my problem.
you are requested to look into my matter or else I have to take legal action against you & your mobile store.

Nokia 3220 Phone — Battery

I have a Nokia 3220 for more than a year. I replaced the battery BL-5B within the warrenty period as the battery life was very poor. Now when i got a battery replacement, it is expalnding(swelling) from both the sides. I took it out of the phone with the risk of explosion. I took it to the Nokia Care Dwarka New Delhi branch and they refused to change it even after telling that i can even explode. The center manager Mr Kamal Aggarwal said that nokia will be responsible even if the battery explodes but they will not change it coz it has expired the warrenty period. The battery life is not a problem. The battery does not goes into the phone as it has expanded. I'm really shocked that Nokia takes the responsibilty of battery explosions besides replacing it. Please reply soon as this matter can go into consumer court affairs.

nokia-3220 — service

the mobile nokia 3220 srl no-[protected] product code 0529848 was given to nokia care hcl guwahati ground floor garima grand, dr b baruah road guwahati 780007 for rectifing the defect .accordingly the nokia care gave us the estimate of rs 500/appx vide job sheet no . [protected] .we are govt organaisation and these mobile phones are utilised in govt duty. now the nokia care is not reparing the mobile phone and is asking us to return back the paper ie. service job sheet

    I gave my nokia mobile at the nokia care center, mango, jamshedpur, india on 31st july for repairing. The mobile was under warranty period. The concerned person at the shop told me that they need 10 days to get it repaired. But till now the mobile is there with the care center. They have failed to trace the whereabouts of the phone. Every time i go there they very politely ask for another 7 days.

    Also the customer care of india don't even bother to respond to our calls or mails.

    At last i am very fade up with the customer care.

    I will never advice any of the friends to buy any nokia product.

    I do agree with Sanjay Kumar. I am also very disappointed with Nokia Care
    It shows us a dictatorship of Nokia Care and customers have no other option in this kind of situation.
    Nokia made the rules and Customers have to abide by the rules of Nokia.

    The only options left for us/customer is either go to the consumer court for concern and/or educate the people that you should not go with NOKIA.

    Nokia 6030 — No Modem found on my m0bile

    This is a complaint in regard with modem,
    When im trying to get net connection to my pc im not able to connect to my mobile because no modem found on my mobile it is saying,but im able to transfere data, from my mobile to pc and vi
    ce -versa,so kindly resolve me the issue .
    I also want to know wether nokia 6030 is compatible for net connection.
    The batteries of Nokia co have some problem but still people trust on it. But Nokia is not giving proper services to customer and now I also feel that I should shift my mobile to other Co.

    Nokia should improve their service facility and tried for the consumer satisfaction.
    my nokia model is 5070 and i have cable for
    nokia 5070 but modem was not suppot to the mobile. And
    i have no software of modem that's why i have downloaded from nokia modem 5070 software.

    So please give me advise and give me how to installation to the pc to mobile with modem and also modem software

    i have purchased a nokia set 5030 from mobile bazar kharangajhar telco jamshedpur on 23/09/09
    at 18.30 after inserting sim checked the set found very poor sound also giving huming noise after
    puting loudspeaker on and radio not tunnig the station . informed mobile seller after half an hour
    they he refused to hear complain and to contact service centre pl suggest what iwill do

      Iam using..nokia n81 ..and iam unable to access "my network" i mean while am trying to connect with my office local area network...by WLAN..and have found my mobile "nokia n81" in my networks in my office machine but when i click that nokia n81 iam unable to access my mobile even the contents is sharable mode in my mobile but when i click on mobile icon in the machine its opening a page of "not found 404"....so plz let me know how to overcome this....if this is an application problem plz let me know where should i give my mobile..to serviced...

      I went in nokia service centre for the first time in chinchwad skyline service centre which was a horrible expierance where there was a Q as big as railway ticket booking counter i got the token of 22 no. that is the system which took almost one haur and in the mean time i went for the xerox of the bill the token no.crossed 24 and for this reason he did not entertain me as if i was in some type of police station he told me to get out and when complaint in the front office they told me to go some where else what a shame that means we buy nokia to get ourself insulted and on top of that N series people are allowed whithout any token and waiting what is this why this people is offerd a service centre i am sure that this will bring the name down of nokia in short buy nokia to get insulted.
      I had always had a trouble with the service centers. I have Nokia 6275i CDMA phone and since I bought it in Nov-2007, the phone has been sent to Service Center three times within less than a years time. Each time, it as been an insulting situation at these Nokia Service Centers. First time when the phone receiver developed fault, they didn't consider the phone on warranty saying I may be using a wrong charger. The receiver normally doesn't give away so quickly in three months time. After a lot of fighting they finally accepted it under warranty. Second time around, they didn't have any problems in considering the fault under warranty but it took me 48 days to get back my mobile. Third time, the speakers have stopped working. Can't hear incoming calls as the mobile doesn't ring. When I took it for servicing under warranty, their new tantrum was that there was a small piece of the casing (which had brken off just after I bought the phone) and so they cannot consider it under warranty. There is no relationship between the casing breakage (2mm casing corner broken) with the fault in the phone but still their argument was that they can't consider it under warranty inspite of the fact that it had undergone warranty repairs in last two instance with the broken casing. They cnsider that there must be mistake by the service men in not detecting it before (mistake for two times on the traught???) The Service Center manager was so rude and arrogant with me, I had to leave the store and got it repaired from another service center that too under warranty.
      The Service Center I'm talking about above is Shree Communication, (Shop No-1 & 2, Yashogita Building, Near Mhatre Bridge, Next to Matai Chembers, Erandwane, Pune)

      I would request other Nokia mobile owners to avoid this service center and request Nokia to cancel its Service agreement with them.

      I went in nokia service centre for the Second time in chinchwad SKYLINK Service Centre. First i was went on 28/08/08, having a prob. of Sound output was not clear, at that time i got token number 27, while running numer was 21. its take atmost Hour to come my token number, I got my handset after a Hour with chaing a speaker, i check it it was O.K. But after 2 Days it gave me same problem. On 04/09/08 I went second time to that servive center, haveing same problem. It was a horrible experience where there was a Q, that service center was totally full of the cust. haveing a problem in there hansets. I got the token of 62 no. First i was rejected to give a token number by saying that it is full we dont now when your number will come & we dont have token numbers also. I was given token in written handwriting it was token No 62. And was suggest to come after 2:00 Pm, as there is big Q. Runnig Token number was 31. @ 11:30 am On 04/09/08, When i reach there, i said i have taken a token & i was suggest to come after 2:00 Pm, Can i go inside, He again refuse me saying your Number is gone take another token number & wait in Q, Q was again same, for this reason he did not repair my hanset, what a shame that means we buy nokia to get ourself insulted and on top class people are allowed whithout any token and waiting what is this why this people is offerd a service centre i am sure that this will bring the name down of nokia in short buy nokia to get insulted.

      I would request other Nokia mobile owners to avoid this service center and request Nokia to cancel its Service agreement with them.

      I am a Nokia E91 user for a year now. The experience was like having a huge lame elephant at home! The phone had mike problems right from the work GO! Wonder what the Nokia Quality Control department does while testing such handsets. The phone boots up occasionally - just as Murphy's law would have it!

      For anyone wanting to buy the E90, here's my honest advice - stay miles away from it. It's like buying a Merc that delivers the lowest mileage in its class.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      This refers to the above mentioned subject, I wish to draw your kind attention towards the following for your immediate action :-

      I am regular user of Nokia mobile phone since 10 years and I had bought a new GSM Nokia E-62 mobile set from your dealer M/s.Star Mobile Ltd, G-26, South Extn. Part-1, New Delhi on 24th December’ 2007 refer SL. No.[protected] with the Brown Panel vide Bill No.17254.

      Sir, the symbol key ‘S’ of my phone was not working properly and I was facing the problem with this key and my phone was under the warranty so I have given handset to your Nokia Service Centre at HCL Infosystems Ltd. S-10, Green Park Extn. (Near Uphar Theatre), New Delhi on 19th May’2008.

      As per commitment by the service centre I had visited on 26th May’2008 for collecting my phone but I found that they had swap my phone with a new serial No.[protected] with a silver panel which was in a very bad condition. I have resubmitted my phone with a request that please return my original phone which was new.

      Again I have visited on 2nd June’2008 at the same service center and I met with Mr.Sunil, Mr.Rupam and Mr.Ritesh Tomar and when I asked about my phone they said my original phone which is having serial no. SL. No.[protected] with the Brown Panel got lost by them and again they were giving me the old handset.

      I refused to take the old mobile phone and again requested to return my handset but they said they are not going to change my mobile phone and you have to take only this old mobile set.

      I HAVE SUBMITTED MY PHONE 5 TIMES AT YOUR NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE refer your job sheet No.[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. Five months have already been passed but till today that is 17/09/2008 I have not received my phone.

      I am very much harassed by the Nokia and Finally I have decided that to give this information in writing before taking any strong / legal step against you with the help of Consumer Court and News paper / Media.

      I request your goodself to kindly return my original phone within a week’s time from the date of issuance of this letter with the extended warranty of six months which I have lost because of your organization otherwise I have not left any other option but to take action deems fit in this case.

      Dear Sir,

      I purchased a Nokia 6275 CDMA handset in Gurgaon on 10 Dec 2007 for Rs 10, 000/-. Within 6 months, the display started developing a snag in the form of transverse lines on the display which kept increasing in number and density till most of the screen became black. I took the phone to an authorized centre Net Dot in West Delhi on 13 Aug 2008 where I was told that the display was broken and hence will have to be replaced on payment despite warranty. Thinking that it may have been an odd chance, I paid Rs 1606/- and got the display changed. Within three weeks, once again the display started developing the same transverse lines on the screen and within next 15 days or so the screen became black, exactly like the first time. I presented the phone to the Net Dot Nokia Care on 09 Oct 2008 through my rep but he was turned away and was told that another 1606/- will have to be paid. On my return to Delhi on 16 Nov 2008, I personally went to the Net Dot Nokia Care where again they claimed that display has been broken due to a fall or something and hence payment will have to be made. I fail to understand how an impact to the phone, as claimed by the Nokia Care, should lead to failing of the display over two-three weeks on two separate occasions.

      Kindly tell me how I can seek redressal for my genuine grievance.

      I fully agree with the above complaints made by various Nokia handset users. The staff & the engineers of all nokia cervice centres are very rude/harsh & they do not hesitate event to abuse or insult he customer.
      My sincere advice to the concerned Nokia authorities is that they should look in to the matter & take very strict & disciplinary action against the erroring service centres (i.e. 1) Akshay Telecommunication - F.C. road, Pune & Skylink - Chinchwad)

      software applications not working inspite of giving the phone for service at bandra (mumbai). the on / off switch and the switches on either sides have been changed without notification & damaged switches have been fixed instead . the phone has been purchased in june 2008 and is within warranty period. will be obliged if the right person could look into this matter and get back to me ASAP. thanks.
      I totally agree with above complaints. I had same type of experience when I went there for repairing my mibile 6300. Initiall i went to Nikia service center in chinchwad which is opp. to Telco gate. There was a problem with display but once i got it back I saw the body was broken. I showd that to them but they said that it must have broken in service centers of Nokia!! After that new problem shown in my mobile so i went to Skylink. There also i got very bad experience. These gyus are very rude. The engineers in customer care center are not experience people. I asked service center owner about feedback form, he said the forms will come in next month!!!       It was repaired but with nonfunctional Volump Up button, so gave it back & then I got it back with broken memory slot flap, replaced back cover(mine was good one & the thing I got was worst). When I trold this fact to the service person, he kept on telling me it is nto so, even he was worst to even talk.
      Then I had talk with the center manager(Mr Naresh Nankani(Partner), MS Pranali
      ), also an owner (probebly) of Nokia shop in the same building.
      He was also taking his person's side rather than investigating the issue or rather hsi attempt was to tell me that how i am irresponsible that i did not check the phone properly before giving it for servicing.
      I recommand never use their service else forget getting phone back in good condition.
      Worst people I have seen ever !!

        i purchased the model no. 6681 on 05.12.2006,(in warranty) .i think that i made a large mistake to purchase to this.
        firstly when i have promplem then i went to your center on 8 aug and they will return my handset after 20 days,now on 6 oct again i face same problem,and i take again to your center at carezone,siddhi vinayak complex.new sanager road,jaipur,and continusly calling ,but they said that wait for 48 hours.i also callat your delhi ,(no 30303838 to mr umesh) complaint no.2-2isvrp ,but no one give me a satisfied answer.
        but now i am very fadeup from this set and i want to change this or refund my money otherwise i will take any legal action against your company.

          I am one of the good FAN of Nokia handsets. I am from one of the big telecom company and using the mobile from the day 1 of GSM service started in INDIA. I have being using NOKIA handsets i.e from 2110 nokia handset to N70 ( 6 to 7 models IN between ) 13 years of mobile user . I regert why i have purchased N70 handset . Obselute very po0r performance of the handset and on top of it very poor poor service by sales out let and the your service center. I have purchased Nokia N70 last sept'07 exact date i am not sure , from very first month onwards i started facing issue with the handset . Memory card had a huge problem's of getting virus affected the moment i insert the card .IMEI # 35938/00/475452/0 . I have given to Milkyway in Chennai , from where i have purchased this handset for service for 3 times . None of the servie was effective , even i have visited Nokia care center - HCL out let . Which is even more worst service rendered at the office . I have tried reaching your sales and service head on their mobile , no response . I just lost my interest on the handset and was using as toy JUST MAKE RECEIVE CALLS AND SMS for more than 6 to 7 months . Now while using USSD based SMS service the Mobile got hung and I am not able to do any thing. I recently moved to Gurgaon and could not locate your service center at all. So last two weeks Iam on and off mobile , by using loaner phonse from my friends ERICSSON HANDSET , I am woied whether I would go for this brand if i continue for couple of more weeks . Which I do not prefer.I there any way to get my issue resolved once and for all or replacement will be the best solution, as you guys were not able to solve the issue in three times.

          Nokia N70 — delay in recieving the phone

          we have given our phone three months before because the phone stopped working suddenly. we dont know what is the defect in the phone and we have been to nokia care centre many times but we are not getting proper response and our phone is within the guarantee period.either get us the phone changed or get it repaired within this week.

            Nokia repairing dealer take 18 days for repairing my phone. After recieving my handset its gives the same problem after one day.

            I am annoyed when nokia care Patna return my mob NOKIA-6600 without repairing and told me that,"yahan nahi hoga bahar mistry de dikhwaea (We are unable to do this problem)." Now I am very worry about my mob.
            I have submitted a nokia 1112 into teletec service center authorized dealer of nokia in Pakistan they give me the 1 week time after 1 week they told that we don't have repairing parts that's why ur set takes more time now today is the 18th day but still my set is in pending according to to teletec person we have more then 400 sets in pending in same fault it's mean there are many people including me who are suffering if they don't have after repair services so why they are selling these sets before purchasing teletec warranty set's i have used nokia set's in mobile zone & chimera's warranty there services was very quick & they returned me the sets within 3 days but teletec service is to bad & slow they take more then one week in a simple fault kindly take action against this bad service.
            I was appalled to see quality of the product and the after sale service provided by nokia company in delhi. I purchased a new N70 on 16th feb 2007 and there was a compliant in my product within 15 days of my purchase. I handed over my set to the service centre, but twice they returned my set without repairing the set. Very bad mobile.

              In my n73 bluetooth was not working i came to nokia care center,Swargate pune,.after three hours they told me that u will come after5 -6 days .they corrupted my os.
              but this is not the only problem ,at this nokia care center they are replacing the part of mobiles with damaged part and some time give ur mobile to other customer .there are lots of complain about them at police station but Nokia is not taking any action aganist them.

I submitted the my mobile phone to authorised NOKIA service delear GLOBAL CELL WOLRD, 16-11-19/11, 1ST FLOOR, SALEEM NAGAR COLONY, MALAKPET, HYDERABAD -36 PHONE:[protected]. They sent my phone to the NOKIA HEAD OFFICE in Chennia. After 2 months with my constant follow ups and Nokia Customer care and Global Cell world. They sent some second hand piece and forced me to take that. They also informed that I had to take that piece because is was out of stock. But I want a new piece with same colour and features. Please help me out.

              I purchase nokia 6233 music edition in january 4th from Lucknow, Gomti nagar my IMEI no. is [protected]. I have problem in my new cellphone, it is always swithed off after 10 to 15 minutes. I gave it to nokia care, they take too much time about (1 week) but that problem is not resolved. They just updated the software & gave it back to me & problem re-occurs after giving back to me in just 1 hour. I am very dissapointed with Nokia care center in Lucknow, so want it to be properly repaired or replace this phone.
              I had purchased (gold)3230 mobile (IMEI no. [protected]) at Sangli of Pune Zone, on[protected].
              Since my mobile handset is giving joy stick (key pad)problem during operating; I had given it for the servicing at NOKIA Care (Job sheet No:[protected]/080222/7), Shree communication, shop no. 1/2, yeshogita building, near matre bridge, yerdawana, pune on[protected] and after a 15 days gap they called me to collect my mobile. when i riched at nokia care to collect my mobile, i have seen that they were giving me damaged scratchy panel, used piece (black3230)and told that your mobile is replaced due to mother bord problem. But i had gave my mobile for Joystick operating problem(this is mechanical damage not hardware issue).
              I refused to take it and asked about the new ones and at least my original mobile handset, which was 100 times best than that old handset. It is also very surprised that they don’t know where my handset went… this is the panic situation of mine I sincerely requesting you kindly look in to this and expedite matter, thinking You In My Position and arrange my own mobile handset or any new mobile, as it is under warranty.considering my original handset damaged, misplaced by NOKIA or whatever u understand.               I had lodged the request for replacement of the defective range BL-5C battery in Aug 07 through internet on NOKIAwebsite where provisions were made for the same however no battery was delivered for the reasons best known to NOKIA . I was informed by NOKIA helpline in the month of Dec 07 to lodge a request at nearest nokia care center and accordingly I lodged a request with INFOCARE SERVICES UGF-1, 2, 3, Shanti Complex, Faizabad Road, Indiranagar, Lucknow, Pin-226016, Near- Indira Diagnostic centre, Badshah Nagar Phone:[protected]/4049813 E-mail: [protected]@nokiacareindia.com on 28-12-07 with sl no 428.Since NOKIA failed to provide the replacement even after more than 3 months period I emailed NOKIA Representative of NOKIA called me on 13-04-08 at my cell ph [protected] and informed me to contact customer care no 30303838.After much wait I could talk to a representative who advised me to contact the nokia care where I had lodged the request for the replacement of battery which I did. The person managing the above center simply told me that they are not getting any replacements of BL-5C batteries for the last 2-3 months and they have only delivered 275 sl no till date that too 2-3 months ago. He further said that since he does not have any battery how can he replace the same. He was correct to state that in case nokia is serious about replacement why they do not talk to him directly or through conferencing and they are just wasting your time. After so much of exercise I am back to squire one This is not expected from a worldwide company like NOKIA. However nokia reputation has gone down by BL-5C episode. It is further being tarnished by such episodes noted above. In case nokia is seriously interested in replacement of batteries then only they should contact me .It is an eyewash and I thing NOKIA is waiting for another BL-5C defective battery to bust and then restart replacement

              Nokia N 73 — mobile battery and charger

              I generally charge my mobile regularly. But still i dont know why my mobile always discharge so quickly and now it is not even charging also and it is in the switch off mode. So let me know what to do now.
              I had always had a trouble with the service centers. I have Nokia 6275i CDMA phone and since I bought it in Nov-2007, the phone has been sent to Service Center three times within less than a years time. Each time, it as been an insulting situation at these Nokia Service Centers. First time when the phone receiver developed fault, they didn't consider the phone on warranty saying I may be using a wrong charger. The receiver normally doesn't give away so quickly in three months time. After a lot of fighting they finally accepted it under warranty. Second time around, they didn't have any problems in considering the fault under warranty but it took me 48 days to get back my mobile. Third time, the speakers have stopped working. Can't hear incoming calls as the mobile doesn't ring. When I took it for servicing under warranty, their new tantrum was that there was a small piece of the casing (which had brken off just after I bought the phone) and so they cannot consider it under warranty. There is no relationship between the casing breakage (2mm casing corner broken) with the fault in the phone but still their argument was that they can't consider it under warranty inspite of the fact that it had undergone warranty repairs in last two instance with the broken casing. They cnsider that there must be mistake by the service men in not detecting it before (mistake for two times on the traught???) The Service Center manager was so rude and arrogant with me, I had to leave the store and got it repaired from another service center that too under warranty.
              The Service Center I'm talking about above is Shree Communication, (Shop No-1 & 2, Yashogita Building, Near Mhatre Bridge, Next to Matai Chembers, Erandwane, Pune)

              I would request other Nokia mobile owners to avoid this service center and request Nokia to cancel its Service agreement with them.
              I have my n73 mobile having data port problem i submit that in nokia care centre in Sitapur 261001.
              After 2 Months i am not take my n73.
              Complaint : I see in my area that the food and supply dept. make BPL list, in that list i saw that the rich persons including who work in Govt jobs are also having their names in that list and the poor and lean peoples who could not earn even for their food are not taken in that list. I can also give the names of the rich peoples who are in BPL list and also tell you in which Govt. dept. they work and i also having the BPL list that clearly shows their names. Please do the needful before the final card will made. Please think about those poor peoples to whom govt. spend a lot of money and rich people who earn around 20 to 30 thousand are making benifits of that.

              Respected sir, i want to tell you abt heres service center i am from faizabad here is nokia service center. on the behalf of nokia company name they are playing with the customer many delaers are also frusted with that. the employ there only needs money they take money on the wrranty sets also. they replace non warrnty battery and charger by taking money on behlf of non warranty. if your set is water log just to go care and pay some money he will arrange a bord in a day. did company gaves him bord or he cheats with other customer i think he cheats. sir plz pay attetion to yours logo. here people says Nokia care is theft and abuse him i am also a retailer of yours company. but now i have also facing these prolem. if i take my warrnty sets to care i have also to paid if i refuse i have to suffer sir i[censored] dont care i think i have to chage my work . plz be carefull and plz dont take my name just check urself

              My nokia E62 keypad has got repaired three times within two months of purchase period, even they had not given replacement.

              I used N6600. i switched off my mobile. after 5min i tried to switch on my mobile. it was not started.

              i went to Nokia Care Center in TABS COMPLEX, TRICHY, TN-01. There they told me that 'some problem in handset, leave it here for a day we will rectify the problm'. then they gave me the job sheet and the cost for repair will be Rs.200. i went next day they told me that "your mobile will not use hereafter, it wont start. so sell it in local mobile service center, they will get it for spare parts.". then they did collect the job sheet from me.

              then i tried to open my handset, i noticed that the display is changed and i think they changed the IC also. i went and asked them. they were not responding me.

              then i left that, after that i sold my N6600 for Rs.500.

              Nokia N 73 — Service Center Pune - Pathetic

              Nokia Service center at Satara road is pathetic. Please dont go to them for any serious issues. I gave them my mobile for repair due to network IC problem. They returned me the dead set claiming that nothing can be done. They said at the time of giving your handset you have signed on voucher and no damages can be claimed.

              Its better to go for local service centers, which are technically far capable then Nokia centers.

              The service provided by NOKIA care -Lucknow (Faizabad road)is very dissapointing.
              I had given my Cell for repairing on 13th JAN2009 and have been told to recieve the same by 7 days.

              Everyday i call them but no one is having any concrete ans for my qusetion.I am not able to know even that will my cell get repaired or not, if it can be repaired then at what date i am supposed to recieve the same?               I have given my Nokia set for repair in Nokia care, Elephant Enclave, Ameerpet, Hyderabad branch. When i called to confirm whether my handset is repaired or not, they said spares are not available and it will take time. When i asked the expected time it will take, they started saying we cannot commit and it will may take 1 month also. I asked to transfer my call to Manager, he denied to talk and asked some other staff to attend who donot even know Hindi or English. Finally when i started shouting on that staff regarding the services, Manager came and started using abusive words and said they will not repair it and threatend me to do anything whatever i want. Also said they will not return my advance money i paid during the submission of my set.
              It is really very rdiculuos to find such a bad service from such a big branded company.
              As a customer i requst you kindly take some immidiate action or else these type of things will damage your goodwill.

              Nokia 1202 — fluctuation in voice

              Dear sir,

              I have bought brand new nokia-1202 handset from Shetal communication (Vapi) on 12/9/2009. my phone details are IMEI No-[protected], Battery No[protected]q30322. I am facing problem from the very first day of voice fluctuation while talking to opposite party and on my side too. I have submittad the handset in shetal communication after 2 days and recieved it after 2 days but no solution, again I submitted in shetal comm. for 1 week but no solution, the problem remain the same. Than after I submitted it in Valsad Nokia care(OM SAI COMMUNICATION), there I face worst service, they just took my handset( not even checked it once) and send it to company, and I recieved that handset anter 17-19 days.But the problem was the same, there was no solution. Again I went there with complain, they submit my mobile to check the same problem and recieved the handset after 3 days, but no solution. They again told me to send it in company I have again send it in company. S now I am irrited, if I wont get anw solution now I will proceed legally. No problem if I have to spend laks of rupees for this 1300/- handset. Hope for the positive reply.

              Nokia Mobile- Model 6600 — mobile service center fraud

              Due to my service I was posting in Jamshedpur on 2006-07.I was facing some problems with my mobile Nokia6600 in the month of May,2007. I went to M/s. Gurunanak Agencies *1C, Hotel Sagar Complex,New Kalimati Road,Sakchi,Jamshedpur – 831001.Phone –[protected] & I gave him my mobile for repair & I also gave him Rs.1700/-. Unfortunately I was transfered from Jamshedpur to Kolkata in the month of June,2007. Before coming to Kolkata I was requesting to the owner of service center to give my mobile, but he did not give me. There after I gave all my papers to my friend working at Jamshedpur & told him to collect the same.

              My friend went to Service center several times but the man did not give him the mobile.I called him thousand times but he did not replied. I have spent to call him more than the cost of the mobile.

              Need immediate action on the same.

              when you showing your handset to them they damage your handset and warranty break it.

                i went to nokia care center for repairment of my mobil.they charge me around 800 rupee but d problm is same, i went 3 times nd d again problm is same.tell me what to do

                  I have purchased my nokia phone 5200 dated 7/04/2007from Kolphapur and due to problem in it I send it to the ASC PSK MOBILINKS at kolhapur on 14/04/2007 for ringing tone issue job sheet no is[protected]/070414/46 and again on 28/05/2007 for poor incoming audio quality job sheet no is[protected]/070528/41 they kept the phone around 15 dayswith them.

                  Now i shifted to Mumbai and again my phone is giving lots of trouble to my i went ASC BRIGHT POINT at Lower Parel on 10/10/2007 and they are saying your LCD is Duplicate. As i did't repaire my phone to any other shops except ASC how my LCD was changed ?

                  so i request you to plz do the necessary action as early as possible otherwise i have to take the further action .

                    nokia 6275 — backup problem

                    i ch.nagaraju purchased nokia 6275 from nokia priority dealer v.m.assocites malakpet 0n 4-8-2007 bearing bill no 9858 for rs.10000 . From the begining of the day purchased back up lasts only 1hr talktime whenever i go to nokia care centre at my nearest care i.e., malakpet there are long ques.Finally i went nokia care at ameerpet which is 15kms far from my home they cheked my mobile and told me there is some battery problem . They told me to come with in week for battery replacement and i did same they replaced it. But after battery raplacement also my problem of back up not solved . So i request nokia people please show me solution for my problem. Even after spending Rs.10000 on hand set i'm facing a horrible situation of batteru back up.

                      Worst experience i ever had with a Nokia phone till date.

                      I got a new Nokia E62 from Mobile Shop from Ansal Plaza Ludhiana. Punjab. India.

                      After 3-4 days i started getting problem o[censored]nsual in nature.

                      automatic dialing, malfunctioning of keys, handing of incoming calls. automatic locking of the keys, problems with pop up menus, malfunctioning of mesaging keys....... list is never ending.
                      WORST EXPERIENCE

                      As i am working with an company, it gets very difficult at times to adjust with this phone.

                      got the complaint attended from Mobile Store. (Experience will be better if not shared), what they did was just washing the software & feeding with new version or something like that.

                      I need you help Urgently, because in 12 months that I bought my Nokia E62 mobile phone I have only used it for about 6 Months. I have always been a loyal customer of Nokia Products, but today it became impossible for me to buy another nokia mobile.

                      First of all I bought the Nokia E62 mobile, because it's advertisement said that this model had IP Pass Trough and really it was a false statement, because it doesn't has, after that mu Nokia E62 had a motherboard problem where I sent it to Mundo Digital Celulares, Goiânia, Goiás, Brasil a licensed Nokia center, and there it stayed for about 45 Days, where in 17/07/07, Nokia sent to me a brand new mobile Nokia E62. That day I was sure that my problem where ending but guess what, 20/09/2007, the brand new mobile Nokia E62 presented the same problem, where I had again to leave my mobile in a Nokia Center, and until this date I’m still without a mobile and has spent over R$ 1.000,00 with phone calls to nokia Care center and with claro celulares, So I ask you, knowing how Nokia USA is correct with its customer, to help me solve my case.

                      This is one of your brand-valued customer from India, just to give a brief. I, have being using Nokia Cell Phones since the time cell phone services started in India, Till date I, must have used at least 15 models (ONLY NOKIA)

                      But off late I, have totally disappointed with the QUALITY of Products supplied by your esteemed company which happens to be the most important aspect for any product & brand to sustain it's leadership position in such markets (Indian Markets) the reason for making such statement is I, have purchased E 61i model from your Nokia Priority Dealer on May 10, 2008 (Imei - [protected]) but to my surprise the same got knocked off in just 3 months & that too NOT because the asset was mishandled but due to POOR QUALITY of the product, I, really FAIL to understand how can a company (Awarded Most Trusted Company) of such caliber compromise on PRODUCT QUALITY. Team let me inform you that Indian Markets are very sensitive & such instances (with loyal customers) really creates a negative impact as the word of mouth plays a very important part in company’s sales, Growth especially when the company is struggling to sustain it’s Leadership position. Or is it that the company is NOT bothered because the Law's are NOT that very strict in India protecting customer right but there is something called " Professionalism & Corporate Ethics " which we expect from company of your repute.

                      Let me also inform you that I, have given my handset for repair to Local (Navsari Location – Gujarat) Nokia Customer Care on July 26, 2008 & the same was dispatched to Delhi for enhanced repair & check on Aug 07, 2008 (as per the information provided to me by your representative only once in a week i.e. on every Friday the consignment is dispatched) the same was received by me on Aug 29, 2008 after a month inspite of giving a commitment of 15 days, Now today morning I, have faced the same problem & when contacted your Nokia Customer Care they gave me a totally unprofessional answer that it has to be sent back to Delhi and you will receive the same after 1 month.

                      A Few Genuine Concerns:

                      ü How can a company (Awarded Most Trusted Company) of your caliber compromise on PRODUCT QUALITY.
                      ü What Kind Of Service Levels / Standards being extended / practiced that just after 3 months of purchase (Fresh Piece & From Nokia Priority Center) the asset knocks off & the same is repaired & again same problem exists after just 25 days
                      ü Till date I, have made 10 calls to your call center in Bangalore, but have NEVER received any satisfactory reply / revert.
                      ü After all this why is it that A Customer Should Buy Products Manufactured by NOKIA???

                      I, expect your TEAM to really take my feedback very seriously & investigate the facts an early revert would be highly appreciated as for the 1st time in last 10 years I, am without a cell phone inspite of spending INR 16000.00 on the same. Also let me inform you that with this kind of approach and attitude received from your company I, am seriously thinking of taking some legal action & also bring this instance to media to ensure that other customer think before purchasing NOKIA.

                      NOKIA/ E62 — bad services from the dealer

                      Dear Sir,

                      Please find the attachment showing purchase bill of my nokia handset(E62 serial no. [protected]) of 27 Feb. 2008, and also the replacement slip given by metro telecom at mangalore( your authorised dealer) on 01/08/2008, and service job sheet of 06/12/2008.

                      My handset is having some software problem and joy stick problem and your customer contact persons at metro telecom are telling its not repairable and we cant replace your handset because its not in warranty.

                      Before coming in a contact with your centre, i went to udupi nokia care, they have checked online and replied that your handset is not having a warranty because after replacing the hand set. The nokia care(metro telecom) have not updated the warranty of handset which i got after replacement even my old handset(serial no. [protected]) which being purchased as on above said date is also not having the warranty no nokia care wants to take this handset without warranty at udupi.

                      Is this the service provide by the nokia for customer satisfaction or this is the cheating with customer by Nokia care.



                      Please revert back with your plan of action before i will put any legal complaints against your services.

                        nokia 6020 — top up not getting updated

                        my mobile no.is [protected] under excel general plan. I wanted to convert to excel gold. i have sent several messages to '53733'
                        for conversion to this scheme. i am getting a stock reply that the
                        balance is insufficient for conversion. I have recently about 15 days back got my sim changed. after that the balance is not getting updated. even today, i have recharged (topup) with topup voucher no.[protected]. when i dial *123#, the balance is correctly displayed. when i am aksing for conversion to excel gold, the message got back is 'your balance is insufficient for conversion. Minimum balance should be Rs.70'.

                        It is requested to address the problem and help me for migration to excel gold. an early action is solicited.

                          Since the time we have bought the Handset within a matter of 2 months we had taken the handset to the shop and to the Nokia Centre 11 times for Various types of Complaints as under:
                          16/5/09 - Battery not getting charged even after connecting for more than 2 hrs and the battery getting discharged witihn 1 hr o[censored]se. - The battery was replaced on 17/5/09
                          4/6/2009 - Virus in the Handset, - This happened thrice on the handset. It was being programmed and given back to us.
                          7/6/09 - Though it was rectified within a week, the handset started getting Hanged suddenly.Shown to the Nokia Centre and the entire software was reloaded.
                          Within a couple of days the Incoming & outgoing calls suddenly were gettting hanged and for 2-3 days the calls could not be made. It was again given to the shop for rectification and returned back to us with an assurance that now the mobile will function properly, unfortunately again within 2 days the Key pads stopped functioning and again frustrated with the set we dumped the set to the shop.

                          I would like to understand from Nokia, can a customer after so many complaints would like to retain the set with him. I would not. Finally when I spoke to him, he was not ready to answer and talking to me with rage and anger. We are very frustrated with the kind of model given to us and we would not like to retain the same handset.

                          I would appreciate a reply with the change in the handset. Do you think that one can sustain so many times just going to shop for compliants and that too not getting resolved immediately. Lastly, the kind of approach they have shown us was not right.

                          A Prompt reply on the same would be highly appreciated.

                              After a few days , a part of back cover got out even without falling of phone .On visiting nokia service , they told me their unability to change that part and they said me that perhaps the phone has fallen somewhere .But when I asked to show any scratch on phone to prove their point , they simply said that they would not do anything and ask company callcentre.The callcentre also refused to solve the matter.
                              When I asked to give line to some of their boss ,they simply refused it.
                              I DO NOT THINK SOME BOSS OF NOKIA STAYS IN INDIA.THEY ARE RUNNING COMPANY BY THIRD CLASS EMPLYEES ONLY.

                                Nokia - Model No 2505 — Faulty Handset

                                Dear Concerned,

                                We had bought a Nokia 2505 Black handset from you Reliance WebStore (Add: 6&7 Meghdhanush Complex, Gotri Road, Baroda) on 19th May 2009.

                                Since the day we have bought handset we are facing problem with its battery. The battery is having stand by of less than 10-12 hours and talktime is just 2 hours.

                                We complained regarding the same twice at webstore and as they were not able to resolve the problem they directed us to Nokia Care.

                                We have handed over our handset to Nokia Care for repair on 2nd Jun 2009 and 8th Jun 2009 post which we are still facing the problem and have not received any satisfactory reply.

                                We also have scanned copies of purchase invoice and nokia care work order sheets but we are not able to attach it in this complaint as it is not in photo format. Do let us know if there is any email id where we can share the same.

                                Post submission twice at Nokia Care when we did not receive any appropriate solution to this problem so we again handed over the handset to Reliance Web store on 29th Jun 2009 and were guaranteed that we will be provided with a new battery, however that was not done.

                                It has been nearly 7 months and we are still struggling to find any response on this issue.

                                  visited three times SACT, madurai, india - nokia customer care - mobile no.[protected]on line services available at this centre). upgraded the software twice but there is no improvement in ringer sound system, still it is very low. the IMEI no. is [protected]. at customer care there are confirming that now a days this model comes with low ringer only, hence there is no use in visiting often to this centre. that too at present we are not holding any ringer piece, hence i have been asked to come after 15 days, if any chances are there from chennai, nokia centre.

                                    I have purchase Nokia 6233 phone from a reputed store The mobile store Surat Gujarat state India. The phone was purchased on 29/08/07 invoice no GJ/ 01184/00001/1657.

                                    IMEI no is :- [protected].

                                    The phone was completed dead on 15 /09/07 . and was given to Nokia care centre at SOLECTRON EMS INDIA LIMITED MAJURA GATE SURAT.

                                    job I/D no IN[protected] on 17/09/07.

                                    The phone was repaired on 20/09/07 and given to me back. The reason informed to me was hardware and software problem . I had to waste 2 days for getting the phone repaired as there was a huge que and had to wait for 4 hours. plus 50 km of journey .

                                    The phone was again dead on 7/10/07 . i went to same centre where I was inform the centre is closed . I contact the Nokia care toll free number where they give me address of Ghod dod road centre. On reaching the centre I was inform the centre is closed and have to go to Udhana road centre.

                                    I showed the phone and requested to exchange my set as i am tired of running for the repair work. They simply told no to me and said we cannot help you. I contacted the nokia care representative Mr Gupta in ahmedabad but he didn't lift the phone. Even the shopper represntative lift the hand in solving the problem.

                                    The phone is handed over to the centre where they inform that they do not have facility to repair and have to send the phone to Delhi. As per them there are no facility for repair in whole Gujarat state ( quite surpricing) . The phone will take nearly 45 to 60 day to get repaired.

                                    Why should I suffer for the problem in which there is companys fault.?
                                    Why should I be without phone for long time when I have spend 8500 Rs in purchasing the phone?
                                    Why the phone can't be exchange if the problem is repeated twice and is not being repair in short time?

                                      I bought Nokia E 65 phone from Nokia priority shop in gurgaon, Haryana India. In less then six three months time its paint started peeling off in less then six months time its slider movement has become too loose. It has already been repaired once for Speaker phone non functioning and now also giving micro phone problem. Nokia care is further worse to care the products as the complaints had been shown to them. But they say its normal.
                                      I want to return the product back to them. Its use is frustrating.

                                        I am staying in Patna, Bihar, india . recently my N70 charjer is not working, Purchased date is 22/06/07 in Sarjah. affter that I visit in patna Nokia service center, but thay straightway refuse to repair or replace to my N70 charjer , thay say International warranty is not applicable in Patna..
                                        now plese advice me what can I do?
