Recently i.e. in November last week I had purchased Mokia 5800 express music and yesterday suddenly the touch pad was not operating. So I went to MOKIA CARE at Peters road Gopalapuram as I had purchased my mobile at NOKIA PRIORITY opp to Satyam complex.
The security asked what is the model number and gave a token bearing no 297 which was already taken out much before I came. The number which was made 298 given it to next person. I found customer who came fifteen minutes late was entertained, when the security fellow was questioned he started explaining it is lower end version or so.It took half an hour i.e from 17.30 to 17.55 that too when I questioned why the number 297 was not called and 298 was called. Then the counter person said it (297) was pressed but it did not came.
After the mobile was taken up they said it will take an hour at 17.52 and they said either you can wait or can come after some time.The cause was identified as the software needs to be updated which is akin to technical fault as given in AIRLINES. I understand if the software is updated some of the features may not be available but how amobile can stop working?
Similar thing happened with my earlier mobile N72 which was updated within warranty thrice and even made the Blue tooth not operable as it may be cause for frequent failure.
When I reached at 19.20 the SERVICE CENTER was closed. There is no message nor it was communicated that they will close at 19 hours.I WAS SURPRISED THE SHOW ROOM IS OPEN BUT THE SERVICE CENTER IS CLOSED.NORMALLY SERVICE CENTER NEED TO BE OPEN AND SHOW ROOM MAY BE CLOSED EARLIER.
GENERALLY SERVICE ATTITUDE IS LACKING, AND IT IS LIKE THE PRODUCTS ARE SERVICED BY INEXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS

Nokia [censored]in sucks big time..There was a time when it use to produce some good mobile phones but now, they have failed to do so..They even cheat people with second hand mobile phones sealed in a box..Totally disgusting...Yikesssss..
samsang care ,hisar (haryana) — not giving my mobile handset still one month
respected sir,its about one and half month passed , i submitted (against the date feb 05,2010 )my mobile handset(samsang corby pro),to samsang care, hisar(haryana)due to some technical problem but the problem is now that they not giving me my handset or any satisfactory answer for not to return. when i make a call they didn't receive my call or disconnct it.
i bought Nokia N 97 mini in dec, 2009. today at around 1 pm my phone suddenly got switch off. i was trying to switch on that phone but all were vain. i went to nokia priority to check in lajpat nagar. they said go to nokia care for the same. i went nokia care lajpat nagar. they said my phone got hang and not opening so they will format my phone. i asked the valid reason but they were not able to give.all data will go and i dont have any back up . without giving me reason they just said tht they will format the phone.i got ready somehow because i wasnt have any other option. they ask me to wait for 15 min. after thtat they said it will take 45 min. i said ok. afterthat they said they will not able to give me my phone today. will take 1 one day time. they took my device and i dont know wht had happen in my mobile.if we are buying such expensive phones and facing these kind of problems thn no use of buying expensive phones. sorry to say but i lost my trust on nokia today and i m very badly hurt with this kind of atitute.my num is [protected]
Sir, I am NOKIA customer, since last two years I am using NOKIA1650 model.Up to last week my handset was good & I was using BSNL network, but in last week I have replaced it with TATADOCOMO, after three days handset was not working, then I went to nokia care they told that software is cyrrepted, they formated mobile, now it is working but they told me that the problem might be due to TATA DOCOMO simcard.My question is that is it true? If true then why it is so? What I have to do?
Mean while made contact to TATA DOCOMO care, they told that this card only support dual band mobile& not single band & your mobile is so, and problem is created. Is it true?
My problem is that what I have to do in this situation?

It was on 15th March 2010 I was informed by Nokia Care Personnel that it was not repairable.

Nokia was my Brand, but I have changed my mind and also will tell all my relatives not to purchase Nokia Cell Phones. I am waiting for a reply from Nokia India at the earliest.

i am khalid from jammu & kashmir, i purchased a new nokia 5130 xpress music about 9 months back, but after two months it's software got crashed, as it was in warranty i got it repaired from nokia care lalchok srinagar, but after about 15 days it's software again crashed, all its applications corrupted, this process continued for 9 times, then i moved to another nokia care at karan nagar, srinagar.they repaired it 4 times, bt again i am having the same problem, and it has been sent twice outside the state for repairing, but it, s software again corrupted, that means in 9 months you repaired it 13 times and the problem remains as it was, i have suffered huge bussiness losses for which i hold your nokia responsible.now i am giving you the last chance as i have left my phone at nokia care, karan nagar, srinagar for repairing.
Now it'z my request to you, kindly replace my phone with new one, otherwise be ready for the legal action.

Nokia Mobile Handset 3120-c — New phone is not being replaced even on manufacturing defact
This is regarding the mobile handset I have purchased on 20 Sept 2009 from Reliance Digital Retail Ltd.. The hand set have started giving trouble right after I have started using it. There was some “SIM not registered problem” was coming from beginning. Then I have submitted the phone on one of the Nokia Care center on 24 Feb 2010 under job sheet number[protected]/100224/59. In first attempt, Nokia care have investigated & repaired the phone but they could not resolve the problem. I was told by Nokia representative that the phone will be sent to company’s workshop and they have given me one week time.When I have reached to after one week, Nokia representative have handed over me another handset in place of my original handset. The handset was full of scratches on the screen & the body and it was a used phone. Even I have to compromise with the colour of the phone which was originally white but was being replaced by with black handset. They have told me that the phone was not repairable that’s why they have given me another handset.
I have also contacted to Nokia customer care and registered a complaint with number 1-[protected] but they have not replied satisfactory.
I have still not collected the phone from Nokia Care center.
I have spent Rs. 7047/- for my Nokia 3120-c phone. Even it has given trouble whenever I require it to uses. I was not contactable many times which have given me and my family mental trauma. I was also in mental trauma after they have refused to provide me the new phone even the original phone has manufacturing defect.
Even I have to purchase another phone as per immediate need due to nokia handset defect.

Since i have purchased the phone at a very dear price, i expect full value for my money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. The first thing is that it is in the warranty period and hence it must be repaired. But I want to know that will it be my regular duty to visit NOKIA care regularly to get it repaired? If the problem persists after 17/06/2010 then I will have to take care of it. Is it my responsibility and duty to visit NOKIA care. It means that I have purchased a problem. It means that I have done wrong opting for NOKIA. I am completely exhausted and frustrated with the answers from the people sitting in the customer care of Nokia. Is there anybody to hear my complaints or not. May I expect that I will not have to suffer? If I will have to suffer then kindly intimate me that I have opted for NOKIA and as a punishment I will have to suffer all thde time. Is it good to tackle your consumers in such a way that he suffers all the time. If you can provide any permanent solution then contact me on the mobile no. [protected].
