[Resolved]  Onida Air Conditioner — Brand New AC giving huge problems, was not installed properly and also now no one is addressing to service and correct my brand new AC

I had bought a 1.5 ton ONIDA Split AC model number SZ18GLS from Vijay Sales Opera House branch making 100% fullpayment through my credit card on 14th April 2008. My AC was installed on 23rd April 2008 after chasing the company installation team several times. The AC was wrongly installed resulting in a huge rattling sound, after several complaints and phone calls another technician was sent who tweaked the AC vents and now the AC vents dont open and operate properly and there is huge amount of wated which pours out of the AC, so much so that I need to keep a bucket to collect the water.

I have tried reaching the ONIDA service centre numbers, the people who installed Mr. Ahmed, and another service head Mr. Pawan, they have continuously ignored my phone and kept their phone switched off. I have even tried calling the ONIDA customer Service number and filed several complaints which has resulted in no action. I tried calling their corporate office but could not get through and now have just gotten fed up with the whole thing.

My request is to please help me with my AC, have someone attend it and fix it so that I can use it or else replace it with a new AC, same brand same AC

I am writing hoping that you will be able to reach to the company and so something about it. I have very litle faith in service standards of Indian companies and the whole customer service levels of Indian businesses in general

i am ahouse wife from chennai. we have onida window ac of three years old.i have complained regarding low cooling to the customer care center in chennai.they forwarded the complaint to the local service center adonis electronics.they truned up after few days and took the ac for gas charging and brought back after repeated calling, they charged me 2800rs along with inspection charges but the problem was not rectified.i called them again about that and told them that i will call the head office if they dont.they truned after 1week and told gas is still leaking and has to take ac again.they took and told that the coil haaaaaas to be replaced and it costs around 4000rs.i got fed up and told whatever do the repair and bring the ac as soon aas possible but they took almost 1 month to bring back my ac and to my suprise no repair was done nor any coil replacement .i told i will not pay the amount and they left, i dont know what the hell they did putting my ac for almost 1 month with out any repair.i will never recommend any of my frds to go for onida brand here after.
now if i go for a private repairer i have to pay the gas charging money 2500 again.no repair and loss of money.i wonder why onida people are quite .they can atleast change the service center from adonis to any other good center or else no one will opt for onida products in chennai.

Onida Marketing people!!! Hey guys !!! Are u seeing all these complaints. I thought of buying 2 Onida 1.5ton Split A/c's in a couple of days. But now after seeing all these, I have second thoughts. onida AIR CONDITION — No response from service center

I have a Split air conditioner of Onida it’s under AMC (Annual Maintenance); it is not working since 11th April 2012. I have raised a ticket on 14th April 2012 for this issue and the ticket No: [protected] after that I keep on calling the service center and they are saying same old story like “Today our technician will reach you home”.

I had bought an 1 ton ONIDA Split AC model number "S12SPDL-M3 speed cool" from Vijay Sales Kalyan (w) branch by making 100% full payment through my credit card on 17th October 2012. My AC get installed on 21st October 2012 but the AC was wrongly installed resulting in a huge rattling sound, when i shown the same to installation guy (Mr.Vikesh) during post installation check and after that he looks in that and saying it is not my work you have to log a complaint to our call center number and they will send the service engineer to look in to this issue.
I have tried to call center number but not get connected. And afterwards i have checked with the vijay sales Manager Kalpana for the same issue reporting. She was committed to log a complaint and during the 2nd followup she looks the matter and after that service call placer guys (Mr. Ramgopal) has called me and saying we will send the guy who has done the installation at your home but he will be look your issue after 3 days because he is busy in there fast and all.
when i have spoken withe him in detail related to reporting of my issue after that he was ready to send service engineer but still awaiting for service engineer to looks the issue which has happen during installation and noise got checked during post installation checks.

ANd one more thing i would like to add : There is no engineer in place to give the demo of the model.This is very worst case with ONIDA company.

I have bought an ac from GANESHI AGENCY morena MP on date 27/04/2010, modal no. S18SPD3
but its blinkig with F2 error on display and not cooling, made complent two times adnd
LG authorised machanic repair two time and charged 2000rs but its still not working.
I never face poor service like LG.
I request to LG service center please take seriously this complent.
