[Resolved] Passport — Show cause notice for suppressing material fact while applying for passport | |
Hi I have been served a show cause notice by the passport authority,Patna. It has been mentioned in the notice that I have supressed material facts while applying for a passport. I am finding is really difficult to digest this as this is completely wrong...I did my engineering from Patna...Although the duration of the course was 4 hrs...due to some some administrative issues in university could not conduct examination on time and the course was extended to almost 7 yrs... I applied for the passport on 21st August 2008 under tatkal scheme...after that I got an offer from Tech Mahindra...and I was asked to visit Amsterdam...I stayed in Amsterdam for a couple of months...since then my location has been continously changing...I stayed in Delhi for a couple of months and then in pune for a couple of months... During this period I was a visited Patna frequently but I was never approached by any individual for a verification...Now suddenly after about an year...I get a notice which says that I need to submit an explanation and surrender my passport... At this point in time...i am not in a position to surrender my passport as...I need to visit US in the next couple of weeks... I was not aware of the fact that after getting the passport one cant move out of his home town...and he needs to stay there permanently.. I am really worried...Can someone help me with this...Any suggesting will be really helpfulll Was this information helpful? | |

I am also facing similar issue, onlydifference there is adverse police verification mentioning thatI am not residing at the place... but the real surprise is that in case of renewal there is no police verification if you are mentioning the same address but police verification was done post issue of passport.
And I just happened to be not there at my location for last 3-4 months.

Due to alleged police negligence received show cause notice to surrender my passport
Hi I'm Vijaymanoj i applied passport on tatkal basis since my job profile is not good upto the earning markings.Besides resigning my job i applied passport on tatkal and recieved in next 3working days after which i was called for police verification.During that time i went to madras in search of job hunt.when the police personal questioned me about the whereabouts for being my absence in permanent address i clearly given the fact and the truth and the address of the place i went to.Despite of the facts given police personal has given the wrong adverse report stating applicant is not residing at the permanent address.
Should not the government authorities be sacked for their negligence spoiling our career and future

job searching — problem og getting my passport
Respected sir,This is PraveenMasthan.O.I applied for my passport in the month of[protected] and my file reference number is HYD-Z[protected].Sir while applying my passport i kept my permanent address which is guntur and iam staying dere it self .And in the month of April i went to hyd to attend an interview in that period police people came to verification and my parents told them that i am staying in hyd and they given the address which in hyd .so police people writte that iam staying in hyd since last year .But actually iam not staying in hyd and i am staying in my native GUNTUR only from last one and half year .After that i receved a notice from Regional passport office in that they mention to re-submit the ppf forms and certificates this one taken place in the month of july.from that time i dint get any result regarding to my passport .Now plz suggest me what to do and how to get my passport as soon as possible plz help and for me and i have noo other way also
