i'm an army offr and have invested in reliance only because of its past reputation of working ethics as heard from others. mr jeet from pune mob no [protected] was contacted through your ads in newspaper and he took rs 750 for the a/c on 14 jan 08 assuring me of a/c by 18jan .today is 29 jan the indl is still not giving demat a/c details . later on i got to know that govt employees are not being charged rs 750 and when i asked him he not confirming the return of my rs 750. i hope assistance should be forthcoming soon and mr jeet be taken to task for maligning the reputation of your esteemed organisation.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have been a customer of Reliance Connect since March 2007, I had purchased a PCMCI ZTE(Model MC315+) connect card for my laptop which worked ok till the thrid week of November. After this, the connection would show me no network range... First I thought it might be because of Viru on my laptop, but even after I got the laptop cleaned up, I kept having the same problems. So I finally complained to the customer care division. My complaint number was 59171769. They promised me with quick action within 72 hrs, but never came back. I complained again after one week of silence. This time I was promised that they would send in IT Engineering to check out my problem. I was rewarded instead with a two week silence.

    Fed up, I finally sent my peon with the data card to the Reliance Service Centre at Mahakali Caves, Andheri. This was sometime during 8th and 10th Dec 2007. We were then told that the data card was faulty and needed to be replaced, and that we would get it within a weeks time. We were harassed even at the Service Centre. We made approximately 5 trips to the Service Centre before I got the data card on 15th of Jan. The customer care executive Mr. Arun Upadhyay at the Service Centre was extremely rude and a sorry excuse for customer care.

    Meanwhile the billing people have been harassing me, even though I had not been using the connection, they have been sending me regular bills and that too aove usage bills. My monthly rental is Rs. 650, in essence if they are billing me at all, their bill does not need to exceed this amount at the very least. Every month the bill has been coming anything between Rs. 750-rs. 800. And now the amount has exceeded over Rs. 2500 and I am being asked to pay up if I want to get my connection re-started. This after their customer care service had promised me that they would waive off the bills which were billed to me during the period when my connection was not being used.

    Frankly speaking, 2500 is not that much, I can pay it... but this is a matter of principle now. These companies may be doing it to so many people and extorting money's in this way from us. Why should I pay any money to a customer care service who is in name only. It is more of a headache give service. And their executives are the world's most obnoxiuosly rude individuals I have ever met.

    Kindly consider my complaint and do something about it.

    Reliance Net Connect — my net connect is not working even after paying my bills

      Not satisfied with e-recharge of Reliance mobile, they are sending sms to e-recharge with Rs.100/- and get validity of three months, But when you e-recharge your mobile they will give talk time and after several complained they will not solve the said problem. And their worker means custemer care repesentative and supervisor told like popat that please wait it will be solve in short time.

      Reliance Prepaid — Charging heavy for short calls

      I have charged my moblile [protected] for Rs 50/- and made first call suddenly my Rs 25/- have been deducted, by the second another Rs 25/- have been deducted. Though those calls are for short duration, I am sure atleat not worth Rs 25/-. When called Reliance 30333333 the custmercare, the executive answered to my query as there is some technical problem and he could not help and asked me to callback. I made call second time after a day still the executive's reply was same technical problem.

      Aftem a 4 days I made another call and simillar reply of technical problem. I insisted why anybody could not solve that technical problem, fellow executive forcibly cut my vonversation he was really abusive and rude in behaviour.

      still I did not got any satisfactor answer from the Reliance Infocom regarding how was Rs 50/- deducted just two short calls.

      i had not activated any reliance service from my mobile so plz dont deduct any money for this services. Plz upload my duducted balance from last two months and oblige.
      Otherwise i will take the decision to terminate this connection.

      E-RECHARGE — i have given the money, but yet regarge was not done

      today, on 26th july 2010, i went to the nearby shopkeeper where i go usually for e-recharge. I gave Rs 111/- rupees for full talktime, n he also did it in front of me. At about 14.00 Hrs i gave the money for e-recharge, but till now 12 pm, my recharge has been not done. may be sum mistake from vodafone. itself. plz kindly recharge my mobile at the earliest, i already paid the money, Rs 111/-.

        I'd terminated my account with Reliance Communications for the broadband connection on[protected]. I was told that refundable portion of security deposit of Rs 1000.00 would be sent to my postal address within 3 MONTHS.

        More than 7 months have passed and inspite of many reminders & visits to Reliance Webworld (in Sec-5, Dwarka), I am still waiting for the refund.

        I posted e-mails on Reliance website and the customer care executives obliged me by responding to it. However, they told that my termination request has not reached them, inspite of Webworld personnel confirming that they had forwarded the same very long back to the concerned department.

        Anyway, in order to end this blame game (who did or who did not), I again forwarded a copy of termination request to them on 6th December’ 2007.
        Ah, I received call (& e-mail too) from RELIANCE informing that the refund amount will be despatched to my postal address in next 15 to 20 business working days. So I decided to I wait for another 20 days……..

        Then, again, on 7th January’ 2008, I received call (& email too) informing that refund amount has been processed and the same will be received by me within 7 to 12 days.

        I thought, probably the wait is now going to over, OK let me wait for another 2 weeks, but that wait did not yield anything.

        So I wrote back to Reliance asking for the refund.

        & YOU KNOW WHAT, I RECEIVED A CALL INFORMING THAT MY CHEQUE HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO THE ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT FOR PROCESSING & I WOULD RECEIVD THE SAME SOON.
        WHEN I ASKED “WHEN??”, THAT EXECUTIVE DID NOT HAVE ANY ANSWER. HE SAID “I CANNOT GIVE YOU ANY DATE”.

        Until today (after almost 7 months), I haven't yet received any refund.
        I would like to lodge a complaint against Reliance Communications through Consumer Court.

        Reliance Communications — Not getting refund amount after termination of WLL connection

        Hi,

        I am lodging this compliant on behalf of my aunt Smt. K. V. Ramanamma who is a senior citizen. She had terminated the WLL Reliance connection[protected] and returned the phone at Preetam Communications, Double Road, Sector-3, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam on 3/3/2008.
        She has not yet recieved the refund amount of 2445 rs.
        She made several vain attempts to this reliance store. Everytime they give false assurances. Till now there is no action.
        I hope Reliance would take this seriously and respond with prompt action.

        Reliance — Connection termination without refund

        I had terminated my postpaid land line connection last week (Feb 08, 2009). The customer care executive asked me to surrender the instrument. When I asked him about my deposit money which I paid for the instrument (along with all accessories) at the time of new connection, he said you wont get it.
        This was really very bad experience to me.

          Reliance Communication — Do not disturb service problem

          Sir, I am consumer of Reliance Communication, GSM prepaid service. I was applied for Do Not Disturbe, but constantly the company disturbing me over phone. As per TRAI Regulation the Service provider should not take more than 45 days from the date of application for activating the service. What further step I should take so that I can get the service because if I again apply afresf they again take 45 days. Please help...
          no support from cutomer care from reliance communication they are showing irresponsiable behaviour and always hang on and disconnect the call they are least bothered about their customers problems

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I had taken a mobile and landline connection of Reliance in December 2007. The numbers are [protected] (mobile) and[protected]landline). I had the pleasure of experincing the quality of your service from the day one!

            1. I did not get connection on the day it was promised, after a lot of follow-ups finally I was lucky enough to get the handsets after 3 days.
            2. STD was not activated for next 2 days. Again I had to do a lot of follow ups to have it activated

            I was unaware that my days of peace was short lived. On 10th January 2008, out going was disconnected from my mobile. And for your information, I had not received any bill from your end till that day! Again tried to follow up with the sales person who had sold me the instruments.... and to my surprise I was told since he is on leave he can not do anything, I need to check with customer care!

            Finally I received both the bills on 13th January 2008 at 3:00 pm. To my surprise I found that the due date of payment of bills are 24th Jan and 22nd Jan for landline and mobile respectively!!!!!!! Eventually outgoing from landline also got disconnected from 14th Jan 2008.

            Since 13th January 2008 till date I have been trying to get in touch with your "24 hour customer care cell". Three times I had been lucky to get in touch with 3 different representatives, but none of them could give me the reason of this disconnection.

            I made the payment on 19th January 2008 and outgoing from both the numbers were activated. But till date STD connection in my mobile has not been activated yet!

            As of now I am sick and tired of trying to speak to some one from Reliance who can resolve my problem! The main reason of me getting these connections were, my elderly mother who stays alone at home when I am away. God forbid if something would have happened to her during this time, when both my phones were not functional, what would have been the situation! I think you don't even have the guts and heart to understand what goes on in your so called client's mind.

            Currently I am looking for some other alternative so that I can get rid of Reliance Communication for good and have a peaceful life.

            I know you won't solve my problem, but thought of letting you know how actually you function.

              I took this policy on 28th Sep'07 and i was told that i will receive
              my policy documents within 10 days. After 20 days we contacted the same person (Pankaj) and he didn't picked our phone. after trying regularly for a week Pankaj's boss picked up the phone and he said that your documents are there in the Dwarka Branch and he will send the doc to us. No docs arrived. We again contacted him and the same thing happened. finally we called Reliance call center on [protected] and they told me that i dont have any policy with them. when i told them that my cheque is already cashed they said that they will escalate this further and gave me the complaint number 1146382 and asked me to contact after 10 days. when i contacted after 10 days there was no clue of the 1146382 complaint no and once again a new complaint number was given to me 1420103 and i was once again told to contact after 10 days. Once again i contacted them on 28th nov and once again got a new complaint no 1513609. No one was able to give me any information. On 1st jan when i contacted them i again got a new complaint number 1380068 and they asked me to send the fax of my statement which showed that money is already debited from my STC account. On 4th Jan they received the fax and they called me and told me that my doc are in the Reliance Dwarka branch and when i contacted them they told me that the doc are already picked up by my sales manager Karan Bhasin. When i contacted Karan Bhasin as usual he didn't have any clue about the same. Now i do not know what happened
              with my money and what is happening with my policy????

              I purchased a MF of amount 5000/- and it has been told that it will be invested in old UTI Infrastructure.



              But after 15 days I came to know by your local MF office( Sanjay Place Agra) that it have been invested in NFO of NEW infrastructure fund.



              It was a worst moment for me because I could not found my desired fund it has been assured by their officers that it would also give me good growth. He gave me Folio no.[protected]NFO Infrastructure Dec. 2007) could not give me print of statement due to printer problem.



              After 20 days today when I requested them to provide my statement they told me that they have not authority to provide us the same. I mate with Branch Manager he told me that only discuss with out side people. After having some discussion I came back with this perception that they are not here for service are for puzzle the customer only.



              Requesting to company please resolve issue and provide me statement of given Folio no.[protected] also trained your officers to better treat your respective customer.

              It took me two months and endless mail to get redemption from reliance mutual fund.
              Worst customer service, poor attitude and totally unreliable organisation.
              I would advice to give money to poor rather than invest in reliance mutual fund.
              I have another story about the Reliance Mutual Fund. I have Market Return Normal Plan and I found, in each month two or three units will dropping regularly and I loss 18 Units in last 9 months. I call to the Reliance office and they told me there is no chance for it and they will not accept it. I login to http://www.reliancelife.com and write down the no o[censored]nits in each month then I have noticed it. You can also check this, you are also losing.

                I am one of the Reliance broadband customer, the connection toooo worst and resolving the probelms is minimum 48hours after that the customer care says till now its not registred so please tell me probelm details so it took 8 days. After the repair the connection not even worked for 24 hours and took 22days(november) to resolve the probelm i just talked to the cutomer care minimum 3 times a day and by the end they came for month bill, i decided not to pay the bill. Immediately i got a lawyer notice regaurding the bill payment, so after a long discussion i decided to pay and disconnect it. After 3 months i got 2nd notice regaurding the next month payment(december) by this things i came to know the RELIANCE got this position by doing this stupid things. I decided to make a police complaint but all this things made a lot of time waste and distrubed my work a lot.
                So my suggestion is not us the STUPID RELIANCE PRODUCTS please...

                  I'd terminated two of Reliance cell numbers in Oct 2007. At that time I was asked to make entire payment and I was told that if there is any refund I shall receive the same.

                  The very next month I received statements for both the numbers which had refund amount given. Until today I haven't yet received any refund.

                  Today, I went to Reliance Web World (Kondhwa, Pune) and the representatives at this location absolutely had no information. Because I told them I have not received refund for 3 months now, they told me it is 90 days after which you shall receive the refund. After asking them to show me if there is anything in writing, I am being told that it is there in termination form. I asked for a copy of termination form and there wasn't any such information. They are asking me to contact customer service[protected] and when I am calling them, I am being told to go to respective Reliance Web World who had handled my termination.

                  Please advise what could be done. These people are so shameless and just don't respect customers. At times, it feels okay to have government organizations as you know how they would behave. Privatization has not improved a single percent of customer service.

                    I was using a reliance prepaid broadnet and landline . But i am not getting the prepaid reliance broadnet vouchers from the local cable operator at mulund(west) .                     realience new connection was installed on 12 jan 08 and the main purpose was to use internet , but ever since my land line charges ( unbilled usage )has gone to 750 and i just made 20 calls that to local and my net scheme also provide me 2.5 gb free download , which is not exceeded. and daily my local calls charge get doubled without calling ... please look into the matter .

                      I have ordered reliance data card in one year advance scheme 13 days
                      back (My receipt number is [protected] cheque no 491966 icici bank ). Money have been deducted from my account 10 days back but still no services has been provided to me. Two executive from Reliance
                      having mobile number [protected] and [protected] (Dilawar Singh Pragati Value added people employability Solution PVT LTD Local circle office: Reliance Communications 17,18 DDA coomercial complex Panchsheel Park, New delhi-17) are concerned with this transaction. These executive are not responding to the query, not
                      updating any progress and they even not picking phone from my mobile. This is happening with me just because i have paid all changes in advance so reliance people don't bother about the services they need to deliver.
                      This is not the way to do the business please atleast inform the customer if you can't provide the
                      committed services. Please follow some business ethics. I am not
                      satisfied at all with this kind of service and in future i will think
                      thousand time before subscribing reliance services. Airtel has far better services than reliance. This is only due to the such employee that reliance is getting bad impression among customer. If within 1-2 days if data card will not be delivered to me i will take back my order and never suggest anyone to take services from reliance

                        Sir,
                        This is to state that I Smita Ramchandani R/o Lalbagh, Lucknow contacted R-Care for an Internet installation , for which Mohd. Haroon came to book the connection on 27.11.2007.

                        On the above date he filled up the form (in the name of Sita Ram incorrectly spelt instead of the correct spelling Smita Ramchandani) and took a cheque of Rs.500/- as installation amount from me with a promise that I will be getting the Internet connection within a period of seven days .

                        After a gap of seven days when I tried to enquire about the connection I was given Telephone Numbers of different Reliance Personnel and told to contact them and to find out about my case, which is not my duty.

                        After a gap of one month when I did not get any response from any one I went to the office of Reliance Communications at Magnum Plaza , Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, to my utmost surprise I was informed by the Office Incharge Mr. Anubhav that broadband connection in my area is not possible as pairs are not available and the feasibility is not there.

                        If this was the case, then why Mohd. Haroon booked the connection and took the cheque from me , he should have been well aware of the feasibility of the connection in the area before booking the connection and thereby causing unnecessary trouble to the customer. This proves that the field staff of Reliance Communications is just concerned in filling the forms and taking the cheques from the customers and thereby achieving their targets only, whether fake or true bookings is not a matter of their concern.

                        Further I am requesting you to kindly refund my Installation amount of Rs.500/- . Kindly draw cheque in favour of Smita Ramchandani (An affidavit given for the same at the Office of Reliance Communications, Magnum Plaza, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow )

                        Reliance Communications is liable to do anything for some quick money.
                        Ethics come last in their list of priority.

                        I had activated the roaming plan of Rs. 5 on my mobile No. [protected] at 12:50 am on 27 September 2013. The plan assures free incoming calls and a call rate of 1.5 paise per second. However, my outgoing calls were being charged at Rs. 1.50 for STD calls and Rs. 1.00 for Local calls. I reported this to the customer care of Reliance CDMA. The customer care executive agreed that the deduction was wrong and lodged my complaint ensuring my money would be refunded within 48 hours. The complaint number was[protected]. However, after 48 hours when the amount was not credited, I contacted the customer care cell again only to be told that the disputed amount of Rs. 12 shall not be refunded. I have been communicating ever since through mail only to be replied that they will hold back my Rs.12. I am feeling cheated. TRAI is sleeping, for reasons best known to them. Where do I put up my grieviance.

                          Dear Board,

                          I purchased a Reliance Data Cable in the month of September. The hardware cost for the Data Card was Rs. 3000/. The scheme promised, was Rs. 450 monthly rental with first two months rental free. From the first day of activation itself there was connection problem. The same was reported to the vendor who sold me the Data Card. The problem is that the internet is so slaw that it would take minimum of 5 minutes to open a page and majority of times it may not even open the web page. The internet is always down whenever i try logging on. I was promised amazing net speed throughout India and i dont even get connected to the net in a city like Mumbai.

                          I even noticed that the monthly rental of Rs. 450 as promised and signed by me in the registration form was changed to Rs. 650 rental without my notice. I called up my vendor to have the same changed but i dont think that this has been actioned till date.


                          I have not used the internet for more than some minutes as the speed sucks. I feel that the company is not selling internet connection but making a huge profit selling their Data Card.

                          I have asked my card provider to disconnect the card and refund me the data card amount. Which is also not done as i constantly get bills from them. According to him i need to pay my bill first and then only disconnect the connection. I do not mind paying the bill if i would have used the internet. I do not think a company can sell internet connection and not deliver internet connection and still ask for the payment. I have already wasted Rs. 3000 buying the data card which is entire loss to me.

                          I would request this board to escelate my complaint to Reliance officials and sort out my matter. The Reliance data card number is [protected].

                          I had been promised a 256 speed at the start of the connection with unlimited surfing and unlimited downloading free for the first 2 months and later with a fee of Rs 300 everymonth i would get unlimited downloeading and surfing free.
                          I got none nof the above stating benefits other than the sucking experience with reliance communication.Here's the story;
                          A man named Ayodhya Prasad Singh comes to my house with a wonderfull package as mentioned above,gives me his personal cell phone # so that i could refer to him if any issues.I was very pleased with the service while giving him the check of Rs 2950.
                          he said i will receive a call from reliance for verification,which i did not receive...suddenly i see the check cleared.i called him to ask whats going on.At the same time another man on my doorstep from reliance comes and mentions "madam apke ke saath fraud hua hai, wo reliance ke nahin hain".i lost my patience, after certain investigation i found out both of them are from reliance and no one is fraud.I asked Mr A.P Singh to return my money as dont need any connetion from "reliance" he started giving me excused and told me it is not possible.Some how i agreed and asked him to get me the connection.i also asked him for his boss.he said i m the boss.there is no boss above me.he takes around 2 weeks of my time..delaying, saying it will be done 2 morrow every single day.
                          This was my connection issue.
                          he gave me trhe connetion on 23/01/08.here i m registering a complaint online 2 day 24/01/08.isnt it GREAT.i waisted around 4-5 hours today for the termination.they denied to give me a single penny back.they say go and catch A.P Singhs neck.(his Team Leader from VAP SOLUTIONS named sarfarz Saleh comes for the connection).
                          He told me i m getting 144 speed which takes around 5 minutes to open a single site.He says there was no promise o[censored]nlimited download free given from his agent.

                          This is just to let you know that two of the Executive came to me from Reliance Communications and taken the payment for Data card on 28th jan 2008 but not yet delivered the data card.They gave me the receipt after payment with the form no. I went to reliance Web World and check that no. the no. is valid and showing my address but yet I have not received the data card and now the 2 executive are not even picking my phone and giving me any details. I request you to plz help me in this matter as soon as possible.
                          Reliance Data Cards are the worst Data Cards Reliance Internet cards are one of my biggest Mistake ever

                          I bought this reliance data card and my misery started now
                          the Human element of these cards is so funny, when you need them the most they simply wont connect. My boss was Traveling to Mexico and he called me to send some information to him, this card simply refused to connect, see the Intelligence element!!! This thing repeated many more times and i am not sure if those were just some unfortunate times of mine

                          Connectivity of Reliance data cards for laptops is worst. I think when we use internet with USB cable for providers like Airtel or even reliance too, its far better than this Data Cards. I think the assured speed is 128/256 but I am not sure if i even got a speed of 5 KBPS. when i try to download my mails in outlook i usually bang my head, as the transfer rate is in Bites yes in bits "b". so it some one writes a message of "Hi Pankaj, what's up" lets say its 2 KB it will take 5-6 minutes for this [censored]#g card to download the message.

                          Lets talk about service of Reliance Data Card for Laptops, (I am using this Reliance Data Card too frequently as this will be reflecting in Google :-) ) They dont have any customer service that i might be aware of they do have a customer harassment center. just try it for yourself, call their Reliance Customer Care/ or Reliance Customer Harassment Center and the first thing that they will ask you is that you are calling from which city, area and locality and moment you tell you that you are calling from this this this they will tell you that they are experiencing some trouble/traffic Congestion in that area. After getting irritated by such response many a times, I faked a call and gave them some alternate area, they repeated the same words, i was so surprised that i did this thing for 4-5 times and without fault they were telling me that they are having some problem in that locality only.

                          I am not sure why they ask when their entire Network is troubled/doomed/whatever i am paying for it and you need to provide me service thats it.

                          Now lets talk about payments for Reliance Data Cards for Laptops, usually i pay my bill in advance but the moment my billing date arrives just for sake of Holy [censored] Reliance they disconnect it even when my bill is paid in advance and i am way behind my credit limit. Funny ain't it

                          So My good advice to all of you guys is PLEASE DON"T BUY RELIANCE DATA CARDS OR RELIANCE USB DEVICES OR ANYTHING RELATED TO RELIANCE COMMUNICATION unless you have personal word from Mr. Ambani that you will be getting privileged services

                          How e can check our Reliance data card bill.
                          I have had bitter experiences with reliance too. Their true download speed is only 4 - 7 kbps in peak hours and up to 12 kbps in off peak hours. It's cheating that they claim 144kbps of true speed. This company doesn't have any business ethics. Thir only strong point is their legal team which would be so prompt to send notices if you don't pay bill dissatisfied with their services. There is no customer care at all. I personally experience Airtel as a much better service provider with better customer care. They have the right technology(GSM) that can give true speeds they claim.

                          I have faced a very similar problems with few additions..

                          I had got a call by an agent after sending the SMS which apperared on TV. The girl gave me all details and I repeatedly asked her if thr is any offer but tht lady very convinently forgot a major offer.

                          Thr is an offer for HDFC credit card users.. Pay 999*8months u get data card free..with unlimited plan

                          I took this connection recently on 26th sep '08 and i got to know abt this offer just 1 day later when i opened the reliance website and I WAS SHOCKED.

                          I have paid 2800/- for data card + 1500 every month as my plan o[censored]nlimited thus in a yr I am paying 20, 800 - 2 months unlimited offer which reliance has given

                          so my total yr expense is 17, 800

                          where I could get the same benifit using my card at
                          999*9months = 8991 + 1500 * 3 months ( plan)=13, 491 with data card free.

                          I don think any customer would like to loose out a huge money of

                          I have purchase Relience Data card in the month of Nov 08. I have never able to open Internet on my Laptop. I have got Dell Inspiron 1420. When I took my laptop to Vendor, Vendor was saying me to chage my operating system from Windows vists to Windows XP.                           This internet connection by Reliance sucks as aything. Half of the time it doesn't work, the other half their air condition doesn't ( nice in the summer heat as I was able to experience... ).                           I purchased My Reliance Card No : [protected] 25 of Jun 09. I t took 5 days for activation. Then it started showing its colour. Every 3-5 min Dormat mode, even though I am surfing, Tower problem. Sometimes it showing connected, but no Data Transfer. I complained to Nearest Reliance Communication shop. They said their job is till selling of the Card, not looking after the server and suggested me to approach Customer Care. I complained Customer Care, all their Techinical Dept is full of Kaddu/gadha's setting over there. Some suggested to re-intall Operating System, Some suggested to Change Operating System, a few suggested to install NetBooster. I tried everything, all are in vain.

                          No use of My Intial Investement 2500 (DAta card Cost)
                          assured spped of 169 kbps, I never seen speed nor even static link.

                          After 45 Day of free period, started claiming their bill,

                          I asked for some rebate, because of their speed, and faults, instead of attending my problem, they stopped my service, for non payment of bill, then started claiming bill, repeatedly, every day.

                          After Swithing over to MTNL Now I am happy, My problem is that how can i Get back my data card money, I am ready to pay my billed amout of 800/-, Even though I used very less and not upto satisfaction..

                              Hi, I applied for Reliance Broadband connection on 10th April in Gachibowli Hyderabad and gave full payment(Rs 1500) for the same. Till date only the payment collection was on time, today is the 20th of April and I am yet to get my connection installed. I have repeatedly called up the people incharge who either ignore the calls or give wrong date assurances thus making me a completely harrassed customer.
                              Today, I was rushed home from office and made to wait for 2 hrs because I was told that the installation will happen. This delay has happened despite me confirming on the time. It is with deep regret that I must state that this is by far the "WORST" customer service I have received till date in any field. I have had to make several calls for a basic service and been harrassed on the same. I have been made to feel as if I am begging you for a favor.
                              I filled an application for new Reliance broadband connection on 16th June and was promised a connection in 2-3 days...I live in Mohali, Punjab.
                              However it has been over 20 days.. When I called the concerned rep he told that it would take a week as verifiction was going on .
                              ..Now the concerned reps does not pick my phone and I have no idea what is going to happen .. I am quite frustrated.

                              On 3rd Nov 2009 I have requested for a Relicance Broadband connection .. in 2to 3 days the sales guy came and took the advance money along with duly filled application for and related documents...

                              Now as 7days is the maximum SLA period to give the connection since8th day onwards I call up each and every person daily and in response few of them started neglecting the calls and few promises it will be installed in the next day. But so far nothing has happened.

                              I had called the below numbers daily which are in hirerchy the escalation levels mentioned in Reliance website . But there is no use as Relicane wrost cares about its customer.

                                Reliance India Mobile — Retrict the service without any dues

                                I have taken prepaid connection of reliance for 1 year validty and submitted the required Documents , after verification my onnection got activated, I was working fine for months but without intimating reliance had barred my outgoing and then my incoming. when i ask the reason for intrupting the service. i came to know that i need to submit the document. Mobile is the important mode of communication as of today but without intimating the user, how they can intrupt the service although i had paid in advance to them. when i request there customer service to restore my incoming faility they are not agrred on it and teaching me that have you read the form while taking the connection. from this you can imagine that how they people are making fool of the customer.

                                Acccording to your top-up plan of 496 for unlimited talking reliance to reliance all over india, i recharded my number with this top-up and when i start talking within this plan then you trace the most using numbers and ban that particular number for calling.i can call on any reliance number rather 1 or 2 (most using numbers) and anyone can contact to this number also so it can not be a network problem.and if i complained on customer care then they start neglect my problem with saying sir your problem will solve in 1 hr in 2 hr and so on...i m facing this problem from 2 days and now after a headache i[censored] start calling on those number then the sound quality is so bad for that numbers only.Network can not be bad for 1 or 2 numbers only as i have 2 more connection of reliance which are working fine.

                                My point is this if you can not follow your plans then why you start this kind of plans like unlimited talking and what is the point of customer care if they can not resolved the problems of customers.

                                Don't make promises if you can not fullfill your promises.Don't make fool to your customers.

                                Hi,

                                I want to complain about the reliance infocom services.I paid the amount required for changing my scheme from post paid to prepaid in NEW BEL road, bangalore branch of reliance webworld.
                                That guy charged me the fees for that and said that the it will take some time before conversion.
                                After that i was not using my that phone for past 3-4 months.Few days back when i went there to ask about some better scheme in prepaid the same guy is telling that my scheme is still post paid.

                                I checked in internet and i can see that my February month bill was 330 but i have paid 667 rs. (that is extra charge for scheme conversion)

                                Please help me in this matter.

                                Following Are the grivances which I have faced
                                1.They have lost my Customer application Form With my photo and Identity
                                proof several times.(who will responsible for the misuse of it)

                                I have a connection of Reliance Land Line Phone connection, the scheme called "Reliance Hello". I have a problem with this connection. Before 1 and half years back my automatically activated a scheme of Reliance Called "1234 cricket". After a hard try before six months talking with the customer service panel they deactivated that scheme. But now a new Service of Reliance called "Reliance Mobile world" activated automatically and it started before 6 month. I have lost my money Rs.49 for this service pack in each month. I contact the customer panel each time of bill payment time to deactivate "Reliance Mobile World:- Find a Friend Service Pack immediately. But, till now there is no response for it from the customer panel.

                                i am a reliance user with no [protected], i took a promotional pack with lg rd 9800 handset, in which i got 18 months free rim to rim calling. but few days when i called on a reliance no my balance was deducted, reason being due to reasons which the reliance people cannot explain.
                                so then no compensation was given for this stupidity, and nor was my balance refunded.
                                tried complaining, on customer care, but that proved to be of no help.

                                i am thinking to file a complaint in Consumer Court, as i am left with no other option.!

                                1. It is intimated that Rs 200 was paid to Majumdar Telecom (recharge phone no. [protected]) to recharge Reliance Mobile no. [protected] (belonging to my father Lt Col RN Unnithan (retd)) on 11 Feb 09. However, it was seen that the phone was NOT recharged with the said amount.

                                2. On enquiry, Majumdar Telecom said that e recharge for the said amount of Rs 200 has been done on the above mentioned mobile number and the amount is deducted from his account. He suggested contacting *333 for details.

                                3. Since the phone was actually not recharged, Complaint No 89298906 on date 17 Feb 09 was lodged with Reliance Customer Care on *333. They intimated officially through SMS that the phone has NOT been recharged for Rs 200.

                                4. It is requested that the matter be kindly investigated as there is presently a loss of Rs 200 to my family and nobody is taking responsibility for it.

                                I have got two of these. I purchased them in January 2009 in surendranagar district.
                                Both of them got a problem in just 6 months. It has a warranty of 12 months.
                                I visited the service center at Ahmedabad, as there is no service center in our town.
                                There I got to know that these service centers are no more functional (it has been shifted).
                                Then I visited another shop (to where shop has shifted) which service center person told me to. But the person there told me that he is not an authorized dealer of reliance classic phones. I still have those bills. Finally I visited the website where I saw names of the shop I had visited and whose service center had been shifted.
                                I have two requests for reliance.
                                1. They should update their data (information).
                                2. I want reliance to replace my headset with new ones OR provide proper service center for classic phones.

                                I agree, there is no way of checking monthly balance remaining if you are on the highest
                                "unlimited" 1099 rupee plan.

                                Firstly it is not an unlimited plan, your average monthly internet time will be about 25 days before "Shutdown" which comes without warning.

                                You do not even get a complimentary SMS saying "Balance Low"

                                Reliance best customers are stuck without access & without any notification.

                                I would be happy to pre-pay for 6 months! Please stop shutting me down! I am a businessman who travels around India, and a monthly shutdown without warning keeps me from doing my online international business.

                                Most recharge places will not recharge a Pen Drive Recharge number, you have to find a Reliance Office., this is a waste of time

                                I am totally agree with this complaint and i already face such type of problem. I have unlimited STD and Roaming plan 995, for this i am paying 995 rs rental, it was fine before 2 months, but certainly i got a call from reliance customer care, that my usage are high and crossing the limits. Then i found that the GSM calls which i have free according to this plan, now starts charging from 18 Aug 09. That is very pathetic and ridiculous thing, as i know no plan post plan can be changed unless and until customer don't want to continue the plan.

                                Reliance customer care executive are poor and illiterate, they dont know anything i[censored] ask. They have trained to say SORRY for every complaint.

                                According to my point of view, the reliance communication is FROUD and should be throughout from the TRAI comity.

This cell number was not in use since more than last four months. The reliance end says that the number is in S3 stage right now.                                     Dear Sirs,
                                    I was having a telephone wireless land line number[protected] Since June 2006.
                                    Since April 2007 the telephone was having serious problem like the battery was unable
                                    to retain charge for more than 5 minutes in spite of my repeated complaints they were not bothered
                                    to rectify the set but with the charger on line the telephone was working and my job was continuing
                                    unless there was a load shedding.
                                    Since September 07 the telephone was not getting switched on in spite of the charger on line and even
                                    after my repeated written complaints they were not rectifying .Subsequently request was given for
                                    discontinuation & termination of service and the same was done by reliance.
                                    After discontinuation of services they have given me a bill of Rs1600/- or so and asked me to pay the amount
                                    immediately failing which dare consequences will be taken against me. I protested and requested them to withdraw
                                    the claim as no services were provided by them but to my utter surprise they have sent some people to forcibly collect the money
                                    immediately I have asked them to stop this type of harassment or the matter will be taken up with police .
                                    They have stopped harassment by sending people but now their recovery agents are continuously giving me calls from mobile numbers [protected] & [protected]
                                    and mentally harassing me .I am having extreme mental agony because of their harassment.
                                    I am enclosing copies of communication given to them through mails for your kind perusal.
                                    Kindly take up the matter with them so that the do not charge forcibly for services which they have not
                                    provided.

                                    My name is Deepak Mishra and I'm a Reliance user since last one year. I have 2 nos. in my name, which are [protected] and [protected] and these nos. are enrolled for CUG. I took these connections last year. During activation, the mobile nos. was different as I got the nos. changed. So a no. [protected] was activated on[protected] and another no. [protected] was activated on[protected] under Chit and Play plan. The CUG was activated on both the nos. on[protected]. In the month of June, 2007, the no. [protected] was changed to [protected] and the no. [protected] was changed to [protected] respectively.



                                    Till this time, there was once happened a confusion as due to some mistake at your end, my CUG calls were charged however a big thanks to Mr. Dharmendra from DSM Enterprises, Aashiana, who helped me a great deal and the problem was solved. Till this time every thing was going smooth and no hassle what so ever happened. Even if anything happened, Mr. Dharmendra was always there to help me out. Now in the month of September, 2007, I was suggested to switch to another plan NJ199SOHO as in this plan, I was told that the CUG charges will not be applied in this plan as this includes the CUG and also free calls worth Rs 150/- a month would be discounted. So, I switched to this plan and right from the same month, all calls were charged on the nos. as the CUG was deactivated from the plan due to some error at your end. Again Dharmendra got me the waiver for the same but after the CUG was activated and the waiver was settled, since then, a charge of Rs 50/- a month was charged on both the nos. despite the fact that the nos. are enrolled under NJ199SOHO.



                                    Since then, every month a waiver request was raised from DSM Enterprises for me and I kept paying the bills in good faith that the waiver would level off all the extra money I was paying each month. Since then no record has been sent to me as how much money I am paying and how many waivers have been issued to me.



                                    Now since the last month, I don't know who played with my account as without any request or authorization from my end, the CUG was deactivated and again all the calls were charged and as I saw the bill amount, I rushed to the DSM and asked them to get me the CDR for that month. The CDRs are attached herewith for your reference. As I checked the CDRs, I saw that all the CUG calls have been charged and the calls made to other nos. were costing less than Rs 150/- on both the nos. I informed the same to the people at the DSM and they suggested me that you pay the bill and we will get you the waiver for the charges. I did the same and now this month again I am charged for all the calls.



                                    Last month I paid the bill in full and got a waiver for Rs 279/- for the same I don't understand as to by what calculations. I think that either I or you have missed somewhere while calculating the amounts in the bills. Well now again your bunch of fools at the DSM are calling me every second hour for the collection of the bill amount and as I asked them about the waivers, all they have to say is that we cannot do anything for you. All that was required has already been done and the waiver that has been granted to you is right and you have to pay the bill.



                                    I am a service class man and can not afford to keep paying you whatever you ask on the basis of your errors and in the hope that the waivers would settle the matter. I too have other priorities and concerns to take care of. Now I am not going to pay any amount further till the time this issue gets resolved.



                                    I have been a loyal customer and have paid my bills all the way on time and never have defaulted in any regards. I believe that Reliance being such a big brand will not cheat me. Hope that you will take time to look into this matter and help me out in solving this fuss. I tried to reach you over the phone no. provided to me by your customer service but it was engaged.



                                    You may call me on the nos. mentioned below for any clarification as I have each bill and each payment receipt with me from the day one. I have high hopes that you will for sure help me and get me the required settlements.

I was provided one landline phone & when i enquired about net connection I was asked to pay another 500 Rs which I did.                                     Reliance Communications — Billing and Harrasement of Reliance Communications and their recovery agents even after termination of services

                                    I had purchased a data card connection for internet connection for my laptop from reliance communications in September 2008. After using the service for a couple of months I realised that the billing structure was not authentic and they would charge me unreasonably high . There was no way to reconcile the billed amount with my usage. I decided to discontinue with the services and therefore I call up at their call centre to discontinue the services. The people at the call center said that my services would be discountinued after i paid all my dues. Therefore i paid all my dues and requested them to discontinue the services. The call center people said that my services would discontinue in 3 working days. The services indeed got discontinued in 3 days but to my surprise after a month reliance communications again started sending me bills . At first, i thought it was an error from their side so i decided to call at the call center to correct . But to my surprise i found that though they had discontinued my service, they had put my reliance number in safe custody without informing me about the same and had billed me for same, Also a portion of billed amount could not be accounted for. I refused to pay the bill . After a couple of day reliance communcation people started harrasing me and started sending recovery agents at my home. I decided to get out of the mess by settling all the bills though i wasnt at any fault. But this time i took a written acknowledgement from the agent that the services would be terminated.

                                    This ended on 12 December. Come January and i was again billed from reliance. This time i was really furious as i had no idea why were they billing me. Again the same thing started, people from relliance communication and thier recovery agents started calling me and harrasing me again. The same procedure is repeated for Feburary. This time the recovery agents have again started coming at my home and asking me to pay the money . When i call up at the recovery agents office, they are forcing me to activate an use the service . They are also forcing me to pay the bill money when i have completed stopped the services 3 months back and have completety got the services terminated on 12th December. The call centre people are so disrespectful when talked to. I keep registering complaints with them and they say that they will call up in 3 days which they never do...

                                    i need some help as i have no idea as to how should i be dealing with this cheating from reliance communication. Need some solicitation. Please help!

                                    I m using a reliance pre paid number in Bangalore since Setember 2008. I have kept this number only for recieving incoming calls n hence no outgoing calls made by this number. Since September, I kept on losing all balance.. not knowing where it went when i nevr used it.Since last month I decided to keep a track.
                                    On 30th of March I got an sms saying that voice chat on my mobile was activated n to deactivate it i ahd to cal some number. I checked my balance n found that i had lost almost Rs. 70 for no reason. I tried calling on the number i got on sms but all in vain. To my surprise i was charged Rs. 3 per min for those calls n i lost Rs. 20 more-making it a total of Rs 90 loss(three service packs were activated.without my knowledge). I made several calls to the cust care n after a lot of discussion somehow out of 90Rs. I got 60 Rs. back.
                                    Not even 20 days are over and i get to know that i have no balance in my account again. On calling the cust care i get to know that they can only view my account details for three days n in these 3 days some one pack of value Rs. 30/- is activated (i still dont have any info on this.). Th8is time again i have l;ost over Rs. 90/- And I have been calling the cust care again n again n wish to speak to any senior who can view my account . All executives keep me on hold for not less than 45 minutes everytime after which either the phone s disconnected or I have to cut as i am in my office.
                                    Now whre is the fault of the customer??. Do I have the time to leave my job and keep sitting calling the cus care?? Now thr is no balance in mmy phone. I need it urgently at work, .. do i have to leave evrything n go to the markt to get it rechagred. Why is my money taken without my consent or request. Is reliance going to earn money by cheating its customers like this???
                                    I am just fed up of being on hold for an hour at least everytime i make a call. No senior executive is ready to come online. who should i complain to ?

                                    Let me start with reliance their billing the same with Idea.Idea is far more worse than Reliance.At least they look into the matter, but getting answer is very hard they promise 24/48 hours.then agaim the same.

                                    One thing more.with a company/shop named Attinkara.I brought a invertor from them.Since they didnt have in stock they gave me one to use till it arrives.They call me the item has come and they would change it.

                                    They took it back and repaid the money when I said i would file a case.They usually pack up the oones on display saying its brand new and not opened.
                                    On Idea communications I cancelled all my connections(lines) paying the entire amount.

                                    Reliance infocomm Wimax internet — Regarding refund of installation charges

                                    I had applied for reliance wi max (broadnet) internet services. They told me that it was feasible in my area.So i submitted all hte documents along with the cheque of amount Rs 2977.But the installation was not successfull as there were network issues.But they got the cheque encashed and it has been over a month and they have not yet given my refund.I don't know what to do.

                                    Reliance Communications — Discontinuation of Fixed Line Phone

                                    I had a fixed line phone for 1 month from 23rd March to 22nd April which I was given as complimentary with my Reliance Broadnet Service. I issued a request to customer care to discontinue my service on 24th i.e. just a day into the month. I was told that the line will be disconnected and the charge will be just for the first two days. The man from Reliance came on 4th of May to pick up the phone instrument.

                                    I received a bill dated 23rd of May saying that I have to pay the the charges upto 4th of May.

                                    When I called Customer Care to complaint about it, he just said that according to their 'Company Policies' they charge until the day when the connection is actually removed. This is loss of integrity from the side of the company and its representatives.

                                    P.S.: I haven't used the phone for making even one call in the period between 23rd April and 4th of May.

                                    In my connection every now and then some of the offers gets automatically updated and money gets deducted on it own. Even i have registered complain for the same but no actions are being taken. I have even registered for do not disturb service, but of no use. Even the people who takes up the complain are so rude that they keep me waiting on hold for 15-20 min. Some of the times they even say that comlpain cannot be taken. Even after taking up the complain the offer is not deactivated and money get deducted which is still persisting.

                                    Reliance Infocomm — Dis-continuation of Internet Connection

                                    I had taken a USB RIL data card from Reliance Infocomm on a scheme with 02 months free internet surfing and therafter have to pay for usage under their tariff rate.During these 02 months free usage, the speed of surfing was very slow and had to wait for hours to open attachments to my mail. Upon enquiry was told that as the Data card was under free usage, speed of internet network is very slow. Should improve once the data card is converted into billing. By the end of two months I had availed for billing under their prescribed tariff. But still have not noticed any improvement in the surfing speed and hence dicided to dis-continue their services after using their services for 13 days. Immidiately contacted their customer care office and registered an request vide #[protected]. After few days I was asked to pay Rs. 195 for the 13 days of services used. I have immidiately paid their amount of 195/- and thought that my job was completed. (can also provide a proof of my Bank statement).
                                    Even after clearing their closing amount, I had been recieving Bills from RIL. When informed RIL customer care I was told that my closed has still not been closed.
                                    From here on the actual night mares starts. Every week I used to recieve treatening call asking me to pay the closing amount immidiately. Sometimes I was told to pay 1000/-, 750/- or 500/- etc.
                                    Recently they have send me a legal notice asking me to pay `1100/- .
                                    Request to have your intervention pls.

                                    I would like to bring The following facts for your considerations & necessary action:
                                    (a) I have taken ahigh speed internet connection from Reliance World, Faizabad Road Lucknow by paying Rs 3500/= on[protected] after completing all the formalities and with the assurance that connection will be made operative on[protected].
                                    (b) But after 2-3 visits only on 30-5-09, it was made operational & worked only for 2-3 days.
                                    (c) from 2-6-09 onwards, I have tried all possible channels including contact to Lucknow tele no 3015995 but noreply was given, even no one lifts the phone. Ultimately, I got Mob no of Mr Vaibhav whom I have contacted and he inform that AP is –ve. Here it is pertinent to mention that I am staying in HAL colony since last 20 years.It is certain that no body has come to verify.
                                    (d) But I received a phone call with some female and connection was again made operational only to last few days.
                                    (e) Again, I try to contact all channels but could not succeed.
                                    (f) At last, I have sent my person to Reliance world & through him I could talk to Mr Vaibhav and he assured me that it will be made operational within 2-3 Hrs. but it could not be made operational.
                                    (g) Again, my person approach to Reliance world & no response was given to him.
                                    (h) On return from out station, I, personally contacted Mr Vaibhab on 6-8-09.He informed me that your AP is –ve, but I inform him that pl contact the person who has visited my place as no body has visited.
                                    (i) On my insistence, he talk to Mr Amit Sethi who was also making same point, on this I mentioned to him pl come down to my place & see yourself, but he could not give satisfactory response & my lot of persuasion to give Mob no so that I can contact him but he has refused to give the same and given a no 3031964 which I tried on 7-8-09 was picked up security staff and he inform that it is security no & Mr Amit can not be contacted on this no.
                                    (j) This clearly shows That Mr Amit Sethi Was not responding & misleading me which is just harassment to a customer.
                                    (k) Ultimately Mr Vaibhab has inform that my CAF is misplaced at the beginning and that is why connection was un-operational, so pl submit all documents again by 1100 Hrs By 7-8-09 & connection will be made operational by 1600 Hrs on 7-8-09.I have submitted the documents on 7-8-09 at 1045 Hrs but connection was made operational only after visiting Reliance World 2-3 times on 8-8-09.

                                    2-To further add to agony, I was directed to deposit Rs 662 (bill) otherwise you will lose Rs 3500=00 & with this threat I have deposited the bill on 13-8-09.To our surprise another bill also came when it is not used as same one was not operational.

                                    3- It can be seen from above that I have been constantly harassed & mentally tortured by Reliance World/ communication for about two months by not allowing me to use internet though I have completed all the requirements including payment for the period for which services was not made available, also services were denied when it was utmost required Without any intimation to me though Reliance World has my Mob and email.

                                    4- In view of above, it is requested to pl get the case investigation detail & fix the responsibility & punishment to the culprit so that reputation of Reliance is not get bad name .Also in future they should not dare to repeat the same

                                    4- I offer myself to help the investigation.

                                    5-I would like to mention that even till date no one has visited my place .

                                    Considering the above facts, I request you to pl refund my monthly charges which has been deposited & cancel the outstanding bill .Also pl ensure that same thing is not repeated & compensate me for the harassment & torture I have been subjected to.

                                    I am a RIM GSM prepaid user..when i call on a particular RIM CDMA number [protected] it plays back a recorded message which says "Call forwarding not successful". i wish to know the reason for the playback of this message. Does this mean the user has activated call forward facility? If yes is it possible to find out as to which number is my call is being forwarded to?
                                    Relaince is a cheater company.
                                    For example
                                    If the communication company has 2 lacs customers usinsg reliance phone and if they will deduct rs 30/ from each number a day then they are earning 60 lacs aday. There are so many thias type of complaints is mentioned.
                                    Agar koi kisi ke ghar mein chori karta hai aur uski complaint hum police mein karte hai toh us chor ko fine aur saza dono milti hai. to is bade chor ko jjo tie aur branded suit pehenke bindaas mobile mein se paise katke chori karte hain unko kya koi punishment nahin hai. Iska jawab dijiye humein. Main sare mobile users se requst karoongi ki hum saare ek hokar inke khilaaf ladenge kyonki hum ek ek karke complaint dete hain to humein pata nahin chalta ki aur bahut saare logon ki same complaint hain. yeh sirf mere saath hi nahin auron ke saath bhi ghta raha hain.

I have register compliant at 19 nov 2010.They have not taken any action regarding my problem. Then I have again complaint register on 20 nov 2010. But at this time they are not taken any action. This is very hectic for me. I am using reliance from last 6 years. But at that time i am very frosted because there are no any solution taken by your side. If you not able to solve my problem tell me clearly . I will leave reliance and take another connection.

                                    Sir, i was reliance broadband connection., but they were having some legal issues therefore internet was not working.i send many emails to them but they always send only auto message.i was having plan of per day, when net was not working than also they were deducting, many times complained to local office., but all in vain. they know they are having very big political support so no one can challenge them.Due to this last month i taken new connection from BSNL., But still my refund and Rs. 500.00 earlier deposited with them they are not giving., due to their problem i change to new subscriber., so why they are not paying my amount and deposit.

                                      General public is being offered this share at a premium of around 450 whereas Ambani bandhus have bought the same share in this company at par at Rs.10 only... Ambani bandhus have bought around 200 crore shares of reliance power some 18 months back for only around Rs. 2000 crores, and now they are offering only 28 crores to small investors in the market at heavy 45X premium at Rs. 450 to collect more than 11,000 crores ???

                                      Reliance invested 2000 crores to get 200 crore shares?
                                      People invest 11000 crores to get only 28 crore shares?

                                      Reliance invested only 2000 crores.
                                      People will invest 11000 crores??

                                      Reliance got 200 crore shares.

                                      Will anyone accept such a partnership offer in real life?

                                      And then they say they are doing MEHARBANI to the small investors by offering a discount of Rs.20? Are you kidding? Janta ko BEVAKOOF SAMAJAH RAKHA HAI KYA?

                                      I believe this share will fall to Rs. 280 at least as soon as it will get listed.
                                      A stock being offered at 45X premium right in the primary market is way too much...

                                      REL was launched 3 years back, and still its in the development phase... All its promises are still pending and the project is delayed.

                                      R P L is a huge planning and the real time of implementation is far much much more as compared to REL. Still these projects are based on coal supplies from the coal mines and water to run the aspired hydro power projects... Both are scarce resource... Mind you... R P L is not initiating a nuclear power plant!

                                      Moreover, I even doubt on the overall profittability of these power projects... They are impressive in terms of their envisioned sizes but aren't impressive in terms of ROI... Take the example of Powergrid... Its still hanging between 140 and 155 since long time... whereas most of the other frontline stocks that were in that bracked along with powergrid have appreciated impressively in last 2 months! Powergrid is lagging too much! And don't expect a jump up in powergrid because nothing breakthrough is going to happen with these power based project other than steady secured earnings IN THE FUTURE based on investments and that too in low profit margins!

                                      Look for high profit margin sectors... there your money will grow even 10 folds...

                                      Regarding reliance power, there's one simple question in my mind... ITS GOOD TO COLLECT 11000 CRORES FOR THE PROJECT THROUGH IPO.... BUT NOT FOR THE AMBANI BANDHUS... I SAY... GIVE SHARES TO PEOPLE AT PREMIUM, BUT 45X????

                                      I say,, they could have even collected 11000 crores by offering 112 crore shares to general public for Rs.110 rather than 28 crore shares to public at 45X at Rs. 450 each!

                                      In this IPO offer, its clearly visible that overall, share holding of Ambanis will by 200 crores whereas of people will only be 28 crores... Poor people... truly...

                                      And I believe this IPO offer is not to just collect money for the project, but this is only to HELP AMBANIS REMAIN THE BIGGEST SHARE HOLDERS OF THE PROJECT FOR ALL TIMES TO COME!
