Reliance Communications — Phone not activated

I have areliance mobile connection Post paid [protected] which has not been activated for the last 25 days.Their rep always gives me ring that he is coming for verification but never tuns up. this has happened at least 6 times. Their rep mr amit bhardwaj who gave me the connection does not resond . His tele no is[protected]. could you pl tell the Reliance management that their reps are spoiling the name of reliance . This is cheating the customer.

Reliance Communications — Some unwanted services forcefully activated

Hi,
This complain is against Reliance Communication regarding some unwanted services activated.

A couple of days back the company activated some sort of news service on my phone (Reliance Pre-paid). I called the customer service and informed them about the whole situation, telling them that I have never asked for any news updates. The representative informed me that it was done by mistake and that he would deactivate the service and refund the money. The complaint number is:[protected].

A few days later when I contacted the customer service again they said that the money will not be refunded but the services will be deactivated. When I asked for the reason the gentleman replied that the request for cancellation went through but the request for the refund has been declined.

I think this is totally unfair to take money from a person, first for a service that he didn't ask for; then refuse to refund his money that is forcefully taken and on top of that refuse him the service altogether.

Well, ideally I am entitled to recieve the refund and if the company refuses to do so am I not even entitled to use the services that I paid for?

Kindly look into the matter.

Reliance Communications — Wrongful charges levied

i am a customer of Reliance GSM and have a complaint regarding automatic activation for "STYLE SMS"

Sir even though this service of "STYLE SMS" was not activated by me i am being charged Rs 10/- every 10 days since 27th Nov

i had filed my 1st complaint with Reliance GSM on 28th Nov, Ref :[protected] asking for the refund and deactivation of the service,

neither did i get a reply for my complaint and nor was i refunded the reason given to me was "Your complaint is being processed and reply would be given as soon as possible"

i had filed my 2nd complaint on 10th Dec, Ref:[protected] in the same matter, but still the same answer

it has been 18 days since my 1st complaint and now Rs 20/- has been deducted from my account.

Sir i request you look into this matter and attend to my grievance

Yeah,

Even on my mobile, they had activated some score card which was giving me hourly updates. Why on earth I would like to know the scores of a RUGBY MATCH going on between some COUNTIES out-there in EUROPE??? LOL :) I don't even watch cricket patiently where India is playing!

This is total fraud. I called the 3033 3333 number and got it de-activated. The agent said I activated it. NO WAY!!! And they deducted Rs 30/- for this. I hate them except for the coverage they provide on Highway and Districts. Otherwise, I would prefer Tata. They atleast apologise and show some courtesy.

Reliance Communications — Deliberate and continuous cheating by reliance communications

I stay in Mumbai and unfortunately hold a reliance mobile no [protected]. Despite my several complains they are continuously and consistantly cheating me for many months. Even their nodal officer is not acknowledging the reciept of complaint. Following is the summary of problem:

Without my consent they activated some cricket packs and started deducting Rs 5 every day. Immediately (on the next day), it was informed to customer care and they told that by systems mistake IPL pack has got activated on your phone. It will be deactivated and money will be credited to your account. They refund Rs 10 in place of deducted 15. Next day again it was automatically activated and Rs 5 were deducted. Again I complain, it was deactivated to get automatically activated again next day with continued deduction.

This process is being continued. Every time, I complain, they tell that it will be deactivate, I get message for deactivation,their constomer service, and webworld stores confirms that it is deactivated, but they automatically activate it again next time. I was tired of calling their useless customer care. At the first place it will be connected to operator in 5-10 minutes and most of the times they say we are not getting your details on our system, please call after 2-3 hours. Despite all this I could register 10-15 complains before switching to email complains (as I will have records for them).

Despite more than 50 complaints( I have records for many) the problem is not resolved. Till date they have deducted more than 150 rupees from account and it still continuing. I have stopped using the phone long back. Many times they even do not acknowledge the receipt of email complaints. Needless to say that problem is persisting.

Finally, 3 weeks ago, I complained to their nodal officer. Leave aside the resolution of complaint, he did not even acknowledge the mail. I send a reminder but the result is same. I felt higly disturbed, helpless and cheated by them. I want all my cheated money back from them and if possible wish to make a police complain about this. Please advice what to do next. I have spend many hours in either calling them or writing mail just to recover Rs 150. It sounds ridiculous but just doing it to get justice. I am not going to use their mobile in future and will not advice anyone for the same, but want to get my legitimate right.

I feel they may be cheating on many peoples with such unethical act. If one hold reliance mobile, please check your balance regularly. If Reliance is doing it deliberately then It could be a fraud to generate revenue for company by cheating innocent peoples. I can access the net so can share with you, but what about those people who doesnt have it. I have tired of calling them, visiting their stores and writing mails. How many people will do same just for the sake of 200 rupees. They will just forget it and this cheater company is making money out of that. They are just making fool of common people with advertizing about low call cost. In fact, they are luring the people to get into their net. Can TRAI do something about it?

I got one internet data card ([protected]) since last 4 months but I have not received any bill through email though the service engineer has told me to make payment after receiving the bill from email. Now my data card is not functioning. Despite several communication over tel.no.[protected] no action has been taken and still am unable to use my data card.

Reliance Communications — unethical charges on Value added services without request

1. I received an SMS on my mobile no.[protected] on 20/12/09 that my subscription to " Mitti ke rang " has been renewed for one month and Rs.30/- debited to my pre-paid account. I never subscribed to this service. So they have deducted Rs.30/- one month back and now another Rs.30/- for renewal. On talking to the customer care they promised to unsubscribe to the service but expressed inability to refund the amount debited wrongly.

2. Unlike other mobile services, RCom never shows the charges debited after each use. They have a number *367 which gives details of credit to our account. But when we call we are advised that we can also call *225 for getting more details. But if you call that no. you can juse hear a " thank you"

3. The complaint given at no.1 has happened earlier also. So this is not the first time it has happened. This shows unethical behaviour on the part of the co. they never sent any SMS when I was made a subscriber to the service.

hello im manoj from delhi .......i have buy a reliance gsm prepaid sim([protected]) from reliance dealer but after some time the no. was barred dealer says i kont what the resean u want to buy a another new sim([protected]) and u have to pay 50 rupees u get 50 rupees balance and 1rs. 3 minuts local and national call but now a 10 days i have no benifit of plane or balance what i do i cant under stand dealer says thats customer care issue what i do i dont no................customer care give no responce please help me.........

Am rasied a complaint regarding activation delayon 19.12.2009 ([protected]) and solved EOD.Fist of all tell u thank ur quick replay, now the out going is barred, then am contacted customer care *333, then told me that my address proof is submitt nearest web world.Yesterday submitted the proof Calicut (Nadkavu)relaince web world.The think is my present address proof is post paid mob bill named by my father.In id proof the relation ship is mentioned cleared .The same proof is alredy submitted ur office first time am taking this connection(before 4 months).Again am contacted MR.Rakesh customer care executive, he assure that no issue because the same proof will be submitt and clear the issue with in 24 hrs, a sms was send on my mob (REQ NO :[protected].So once again I request u all to solve my issue as soon as possible.
