Sir/Madam,

I lodged this conplaint 3 months back but till now not received any reply...It’s really very disappointing, that such a huge public Organization is not able to do anything in this reg. We believe in Public Organization, and get the answer that they can’t do anything. It’s really very Disappointing.

My SBI Account([protected]) is being Debited by Rs 10,000, which we’re not been able to withdraw from ATM on 6thFeb’10.. the cash could not came only...

Pls refer to the details below…
The date we tried to withdraw the cash : 6th Feb’10

    I would like to bring to your notice the incorrect contents of the recent commercial from State Bank of India that shosw a sea of Indians those supposed to be holding an account with the bank. I think this commercial is on air since last 4 plus weeks. If noticed carefully in the "full version" of this commercial, one can notice that the Indian flag shown in the same is wrong. It is not easy to spot the same though, but is very clear that J&K's parts in possession of Pakistan and China seem to have been dropped in this depiction of India. It is extremely shameless for a state organization to be so careless in depicting an incorrect map of the nation.

    Request for an action immediately and also request through you to exert pressure on the State Bank to apologize and withdraw the commercial

      Myself Azeem Mirza Holding an current account Number [protected] from Karnataka Dist Haveri Savanur Branch 581118. When I opened an account with Cheque Book , Cheque Book was alloted to me within 6 days and that cheque book got over and i had requested for a 500 leaf cheque Book as it is required for my business purpose , hence they asked an application and i gave it, they took a request and 1000 rs (one thousand rupees ) was been debited instantly, on 6th may and i waited for 15 days as it was very urgent for my business purpose i inquired in the bank they asked me to wait another two days, i went again after two days they said they will take a reminder request again and at that moment another 1000 rs was been debited from my account but i did not get the cheque book still so amt of 1000rs ia debited twice and god knows when will the cheque book issued to me so please help me out no one is responding properly please help me out

      Bank Of India — delay cheque book

      This has reference to my saving account No. 13462 with bank of india i had given request for issue of cheque book at bank of india hinganghat branch on dated 22.08.2011 but till to date i have not recd.chq.book On contacting the concern branch relevant authority they started passing the balls head office.I email to head office at nagpur & hgt.branch but no action has been taken.branch manager are helpless about this matter .

      Who should be resposible for all this?

        hi Myself Azeem Mirza I hold an current account , My cheque book was over and when i asked to issue a new cheque book they took the request and immediately 1000 rs was debited from my account i waited for 20 days but i did not get the cheque book as i asked and inquerd at the bank they took another reqest and again 1000rs has been deducted and i have not got the cheque book still so please help me out in this situation my account number is [protected]

          Respected Sir,

          I am an SBI Savings account holder with Account Number [protected] in the name of Manasi Sanjay Shah at Market Yard Branch, Pune. I made a Vodafone postpaid bill payment of Rs.983 on 26th February 2010 from by Debit Card with Point Of Sale Number: POS PRCH
          [protected] [protected]. However the operation timed out, the bill was not paid. Uet the money was debited from my account and not recredited again.
          Hence I had to make a payment once more on 8th March 2010 with Point of Sale Number POS PRCH
          [protected] [protected] for the same amount. Its been more than 3 months my previous payment has not been recredited. I have been to the branch and written letters 5 times and also raised a ticket regarding the same matter. No action has been taken so far. Rs.983 is a huge sum for a working and learning student member like me.
          Kindly look into the matter and suggest me a mechanism by which my money is re-credited at the earliest.

            Some 12-15 months back SBI annouced a home loan scheme in which they offered lower interest rate compared to other banks which was 8%..this interest rate was fixed for one year and after that they said taht depend on market they will decide new interest rate...considering this as good scheme and reputation of SBI i transferred my homeloan from IDBI to SBI..recently i completed my first year of the scheme..and when i was waiting for new interst rate..i really shocked when i heard them..it is 9.75 %...i remeber when i preclosed my IDBI HL rate of interest was some 9 %..and if i continued over there it suppose to be 8.75 % now....but i think SBI trapped many of people like me showing carrot of 8 % and now they have taken us as granted and forced higher ROI values...I want SBI to rethink on there policy..they are leading position in banking sector..they should take care of there customers and there valueable faith on SBI..this forced policy is not going to work in future..every unhappy customer will scratch SBIs image on this issue.

            Yes, SBI is misguiding us. i have taken a loan in mahindra world city in march 2011, in the document mentioned that first year 8.75 % and 9.5% from 2nd year onwards. but after first installment, my rate of interest gone now itself 9.75%. it got updated in online also. how come they can change for fixed interest also.

              Dear Sir,

              I m one of the SBI credit card holder card number : - [protected] due to economical problem i m not able to pay credit card bill and even i stop to use credit card from year 2008 and i went to nasik for futher stiudies

              When i back to town i update my new number to SBI card coz i have to clear the outstanding

              and i recv call from there agency (Samarath Agency) some where in Mahin (mumbai) excutive call me and asked to to pay 35000/- which is outstanding with interest of 2 year

              i said i dont have that much of amount coz i m jobless now, i have 1000/- take it as a full and final settlement

              they said ok and they send collection excutive with letter of my settlement

              but the letter which they send with collection boy that not at letter head evn they don't specify the how much is the outstanding and from that they going to settlement with rupees 10000/-

              so i said i m going to pay for this letter give the letter head..of sbi and stamp

              they abuse for same and harrasing me to make the payment

              Please advise me and suggest me

                We are submitting cheques towards contribution to ESI & EPF for our employess before due dates with State Bank of India, Adityapur RIT Branch (Branch Code 1882). We face following problems.
                1. The concerned person do not give us receipt for cheque submission.They hold cheques with them for 4-5 days.
                3. Cheques are not prduced for clearance in time.
                4. Our challan is stamped 4 to 5 days after the amount is debited from our account.
                Because of above we become defaulter for delayed payment with both the organization & we have to pay interest & penalty for our no fault. When we raise complain to the concened person, we are told to either submit cheques with other branch or open account with this particular branch.
                The above complain has been raised erarlier also, but there is no improvement.

                      I want to lodge a complaint against SBI bank, i have been victimized by their unacceptable system, my name is Vasudha Sharma i am having an account in SBI bank Shakur Basti Ranibagh market Delhi with acc no.[protected] I hold a debit card with SBI bank, i have lost RS 4000 due to their ill ATM facility, i will narrate the whole story, on date 15 may i went to an SBI ATM located at Shakur Basti Ranibagh market and made a transaction of RS 4000 but when the money was about to come out the power shuts down and money stuck inside and it did not came out of the ATM machine, i waited there for about 10 minutes, then i asked about the procedure to get my money back from the guard of that ATM, he advice me to go inside the bank and asked some bank personnel, when i entered the bank and asked a responsible person about the procedure he assure me that money will be automatically rollback to your account within 12 hours, but it doesn’t happen even after 24 hours i again went to that bank on 16th may, Now they told me to fill a form for money rollback, i did the same i fill the rollback form, and they provide me assurance that my money will be rolled back in next 2 days, but again 2 days passed and i got nothing, i again went to that branch and asked about my case, but i got a shock to know that my money is lost, they told me that it cannot be roll backed since the transaction was completed, and they also behaved rudely and asked me that why don’t you waited there till the power supply come. they told me that when power came the money would have come out of the ATM machine, this seems to be ridiculous.
                      As per the rules I know few things

                      1. Power should be available 24 hours
                      2. Web cams should be 24 hours working

                      Consequences: Due to this i was unable to purchase essential medicines for my grandmother who was admitted in hospital, and i also have to pay electricity bills, i had to borrow money from someone else, i have gone through a severe mental trauma and i will not let anyone escape.

                      First problem is that the power went off it is not my problem why should i suffer because of others mistake since above mentioned things were not in place, i can take strict action against you and your people who not only shown rude behavior but also ill-treated me.

                        This is to inform you that I am Subir Garain, very much upset on customer service of the below mentioned SBI Branch.I am trying to open a saving A/C since last 6 months but each time I visit, the branch persons say to come later and they shows the cause of form crisis.In this circumstances it is very much painful to see this kind of service in a govt. bank whether I have searched that in the nearby SBI branches Customer service is nice.I would like to request you to please do some query and help me as wel as those people who are suffering like me from the lake of services.

                          SBI charges
                          SIR, ~ Services of the State Bank of India can only discourage depositors. The Core Banking System is a means of extra income.
                          The bank debits Rs 50 for depositing a cheque drawn on a “non home” account of the SBI itself. A sum of Rs 10 is debited each time a passbook is updated in a branch other than the one where the account exists. These are only examples of additional charges imposed by the SBI. They are even unfair in the core banking system that seeks to link all branches not only within the city but across the country.

                          I think NISBAN means the menace of "Non-Home Account".
                          Yes, it is indeed very, very strange that in the age of the much hyped CBS connectivity, SBI of all should find this novel way of small harassing customers which is nothing but the practice followed by the foreign banks to discourage small depositors from having any transactions with them. Reprehensible it is for the reason that the SBI is the opldest Bank in India-and the largest too. I do not think, considering the volume of business of this leading Indian Bank, it behoves this banking giant to resort to this sort of add-ons to the rate structure to charge all sorts of fees from its customers, and that too in the case of small account holders whose money goes to form the basis of its capital for lending to business magnates.

                          As an Indian venture, SBI's action is definitely below dignity.

                            services of "SBI CARDS" since last 1.6 years and there is no any due as
                            per me but if your organisation starts sending me regular statement
                            with showing me dues,i am helpless coz. "SBI CARDS" made mistake that
                            without informing to their customer whether verbal or written change
                            mode of sending "statement" unfortunately statement also not able to
                            open after three months and now you are sending me with late payment
                            charges its difficult to pay and your recovery agents making call
                            frequently at my parents home they become disturb by such offense.as i

                              Loan settled but CIBIL data not updated since October 2009

                              I availed a loan of Rs.1,50,000.00 from SBI MKB Nagar branch, Chennai on 7th Feb 2006 and cleared the loan on 9th Oct 2009 for which i was made to run behind the branch to get the clearance letter/no due certificate.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I, Rajat Kanti Das, holding an SBI Card with card no. [protected], have received an e-statement showing that I made a purchase on 11th. April 2010 from LABAS COLLECTION, KOLKATA for an amount Rs.978/- (Rupees Nine Hundred Seventy Eight Only), which, I am sorry to say, have not.
                              Secondly, I dropped my payment against the monthly statement for the month April '10 at a "SKY PACK" drop box, as directed by your customer service officer, at "PIYAN STORES" near Sonarpur, Rajpur, on[protected] but your statement shows that you received it on[protected] and so you added a late payment charge of Rs.61/-(Rupees Sixty One Only) in addition with GST Rs.6.29/- ( Rupees Six and Twenty nine paisa Only) when I am not at all responsible for this late payment.

                                Sir, I am a SBI savings account holder My A/c No Is [protected] and branch Name is " SBI., Main Branch , Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu . I inform you that while I am withdrawing Rs.5000/- through Punjab National Bank ATM which is located in Sewa Bhavan , R.K.Puram NEW Delhi , but Amount was not released by the machine it got stuck. Transaction Date and time of withdrawal is 16.05.2010 , 7:25 AM , TXN No is 7759 , wording in the slip is " Withdrawal Savings , Transaction Declined" . After , I received Balance statement, it shows the amount Rs. 5000, is deducted from my A/c , Sir, Please Solve the problem and credit the amount Rs.5000/ into my Account,.                                   I am complaining against the employees of STATE BANK OF INDIA of SHALIMAR BRANCH at HOWRAH(Shibpur),WEST BENGAL.The behavior of the employees are not good.Actually they are very much rude particularly at that branch.They dont know any manner that how to talk with the customers.We,the Customers are not satisfied with it.

                                  SBI — Misbehaviour

                                  In Kural (w) SBI branch at Sheetal Cinema Hall the staff was not came on time. They were not give proper answers to the customers.
                                  Sir,
                                  1. With all respect I want to draw your attention to the inapperoperate behaviour conducted by Mr NK Talwar (Asst Gen Manager of SBI, Sector 17 Main Branch)
                                  2. On 4th Jan at about 1300 hours I was standing in a queue on counter number 22 to submit my application form for HUDA plots. The employee Mr Kranti Misbehaved by allowing the following
                                  (a) He allowed his acquiantances to surpass the line
                                  (b) On being told about same his words were "Sadi sehat te koi farak ne penda" & "Yaha to aisa he hota hai"
                                  (c) He then said that the staff would continue to do like this
                                  (d) He then did the intentional delay in the task that he was supppose to carry out and kept asking stupid and funny questions (my mother was submitting the form)
                                  3. On taking the matter to Senior authority Mr SK Talwar who claimed to be Asst Gen Manager also said that "Staff to pichhe se he jayega" and did not entertained the request for the same.

                                  you are requested to take necessary corrective actions.

                                  just because of their irreponsilible behaviour i have lost the participation in rgpv m tech couselliung and by virtue of this i have to wait for an year.. and whole year is totally wastage...

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      My name is Diwakar Kumar Gupta,S/O Dr. B.C. Gupta.Resident of (H.No. 715 , 2nd Floor,Azaad Mohal,Sadar bazar ,Lucknow.Cantt - 226002).With lot of grief and disappointment I beg to state that my father who took an education loan for me from SBI - cantt branch at lko in the year 2006, is a pensioner and gets his pension every month in the above mentioned SBI branch account.Though the loan was sanctioned by the then manager of the bank and the A/C PAYEE cheque was also issued in that respect,however due to some untoward circumstances in the family I had to quit my studies 1-2 months after joining the B.B.A course which I was pusuing from Lucknow University.Therefore the cheque which was issued by the bank was unused,hence no amount was debited from the loan account of the Bank.It is a universal rule that if any A/C payee cheque is issued to any person and if he/she does not use the instrument within 6 months from the date of issue,then the cheque so issued becomes null and void (i.e., unusable).Therefore,if no amount has been used for the purpose it was meant to be used and moreover it was a a/c payee cheque so no person can encash the amount except the one in whose name the cheque is issued.Therefore,it must be very clear by the above mentioned facts that if no amount has been used then the bank has no authority to charge any interest/damages from the guarantor,whose is not at all liable to pay any interest levied by the bank,because the bank can only charge interest when loan amount has been used by the person to whom the loan has been sanctioned.In my case ,since no amount whatsoever has been utilized for the purpose and also the cheque/s which were issued by the bank was also not used,hence the loan should get cancelled automatically.I want to throw light on one more aspect that when the cheque/s which was issued by the bank were not used by me then why did'nt the bank sent any reminder in order to enquire as to why the amount has not yet been transferred to the concerned person in whose name the cheque is issued.It is shameful on the part of such a reputed bank that they are harrassing my father unnecessarily and all of a sudden they have now ceased his pension account without enquiring about the details ,this is utmost illogical and unethical on the part of the bank.Now I am afraid ,my father who is very ill and an elderly citizen,how he would be able to cope with his day-to day expenses since they have ceased his pension account.
                                      I would request that justice should be granted to us and severe action should be taken against the bank so that they shall not be in a position to harrass any other person in future.
