[Resolved]  SBI Debit Card — money debited even though transaction was not successful

today (19/09/10) i tried to book a ticket twice using internet via sbi atm-cum-debit card but even though the transaction failed some Rs1300 were debited from my account.The irctc site shows settlement requested on the failed transactions page and gives a message "payment not received from bank".So,what am i supposed to do in this situation,i feel robbed by one of the most reliable banks of india.

SBI — non settelment of account for the dabit card tranaction undertaken for e-ticket

non settelment of the bank transaction for the ticket not booked but cash deducted.
the e- ticket fecility that has been provided is basically a very lousy attitude both on part of the bank and the irctc
as in the due cource the settelment of the account takes some time an indefinately long period as a result a sum of Rs 6500 approx yet to be cleared as a part of the failed tranasaction

SBI — wrongly debit even atm transaction is not succeed

i use my atm card at bajirao atm center of sbi on 14/04/2012 but transaction is not success but amount is debited in my account .i saw when i print passbook shown tran. no atm 6769 14.04.2012

I am Bhuvaneswari J while doing online payment for my purchase, Rs 537was deducted from my account, for the purchase that was cancelled by me.Message was recieved on my mobile after some time that ''thank you for using your SBI debit card 622XX9486 for a purchase worth Rs 537 0n POS [protected] at Billdesk.com_Billpay txn#[protected]".My account no. is [protected].I[censored] kindly refund my amount I would be highly obliged.
Today I called up SBI Customer Care and feel like looted. I used my SBI Debit Card at a POS merchant for Rs8190. I got a message on my mobile that the amount is deducted. At the merchant they did not get a confirmation of payment and said they did not get the payment and some problem with banks server. When i checked mini statement, i see the amount deducted. I call SBI and they say it will take 45 days to resolve this. So my money in my debit card account is gone and i need to wait 45 days to get my money back? For gods sake its not credit card. It my money in my debit card!! Why should i suffer for banks server problem?????? Why cant the bank resolve this in a faster time as this is debit card and not credit card? Or debit the amount to my account and adjust it once they found the issue later? There should be a better process for debit card owners!!

While doing transaction for my daughter for examination fee for bundelkhand university ₹3561 has been deducted from my debit card but the site is currently showing that no payment is made I.e. payment failed but amount has been deducted from my account.
Refund my account as soon as possible
