Dear Sir,

This is in reference with my State Bank of India credit card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx 0373. On 25.08.10, I got SMS from SBI informing blocking of credit card. When I contacted them, they informed about two suspicious transactions of amount Rs.2000 each on 23.08.10. I told them that those were not my transactions and immediately mailed Dispute Form, as guided by customer care. After few days I came to know that there is total seven fraud transaction on 23.08.10 total amounting Rs.14000.
I wish to lodge a official complaint against this fraud transaction on my above credit card with detailed history given below. Please note that I had never used my credit card for any online purchasing or net banking and never disclosed my details to anybody. Even I had not registered for secure ID password till 05.09.10, which was used for above transactions.
Sir, I would like to request you to kindly investigate in this matter and initiate necessary actions to resolve this case at the earliest.

Detailed History :
1) Got first SMS on 25.08.10, stating that my card is blocked as precautionary measures to prevent misuse and asked me to call customer care.
2) Same day I called customer care[protected] and asked them the reason of card blocking. They informed about two suspicious transactions of amount Rs.2000 each on 23.08.10 in the name of IDEA cellular. Since those were not my transactions, they took my complaint (MQ[protected] and asked me to send Dispute Form.
3) Same day I immediately mailed Dispute Form to SBI ( mail attached)
4) Another SMS on 26.08.10 and 27.08.10, requesting for reactivation, but I did not responded.
5) On 01.09.10 got call from SBI customer care, saying there is total seven fraud transaction on 23.08.10 of Rs. 2000 each, total amounting Rs.14000. Also confirmed with me whether I have done any net transactions, which I declined and explained my case in details. He confirmed that they will investigate and let me know.
6) On 05.09.10 again got call from SBI, saying that my old card is deactivated and new card will be sent shortly.
7) Today on 06.09.10 I called to SBI customer care for the status of my case. He informed that all seven transactions were done through safe website and by secure ID password. Hence they have considered it as valid transactions. Upon briefing my fact about not own transactions, he asked me to lodge FIR, SBI cannot help now.
I asked him to stop new card issue immediately and requested him to hold this billing to avoid any penalty or additional charges, till the case is resolved.
Once again a humble request to help me in this reagrd, since I cannot pay this huge amount of Rs.14000. I am very thankful to you for your kind support and valuable time.

SBI Bank — Credit card frauds

I have not received any credit card of sbi bank but I a m continuously receiving calls for paying credit card payment for different person. But at my mobile number [protected]. Please take any action against this.

we have recevied state bank credit card statement my card no.[protected] i have reced loan amount rs.10000/- but statement charged Interest of Rs.1800+ Rs.500/- over limit fee cancled my account for immegetly for all charges and we paid for all loan

    Usually missbehaviour in sbi sonpur branch 4446 from top to bottom i.e manager to accountant. Reason: local staffs and others.
    If possible i request for surprise checking and take customer's feedback.
    I suggest to have facility of customer feedback form because staffs are using monopoly.

    bhai sahi kah rahe ho!
    logo ki majburi hai ki wo banking sbi k sath karein, aur ye log oosi ka fayada oothate hain.waise bhi hamari kaun sunne wala hai, jab top se bottom tak sab corrupt hain.maine to decide kar liya hai. no more banking with SBI.

        Respected sir/Madam,
        My self Rambabu Shrivastava having a saving account in sbi whose no. is [protected] in bhind branch in (M.P).
        My problem is that, on sunday i went to bhind branch ATM whose no.is s1cn00351204 on time 11:00a.m on[protected].when i started transaction frm my account for the withdrawl of rs.19000 that time atm is working well but after a while atm computer is automatically closed and i didn't get my money and also i didn't get the withdrawl receipt. after this accident i gone towards another ATM which is near i checked my account balance that was deducted.after this i placed a complaint in sbi bhind main branch on[protected].he was saying ,that they will tell me 3 to 4 working days. i also placed my complaint in customer care whose no. is AT[protected] yesterday i checked the status of my complaint, there is no progress.
        This is my humble request to you please solve out my problem as soon as possible,because i'm facing many financial problem regarding household expenses.

        My problem is that, i sent life certificate by post . and i am not getting my pension from december month . my ppo no is S/044104/2008. Today i sent life certificate by fax.

          hi , iam the customer of sbi credit card from a long time, but till now i cant talk to any customer care executive when ever i need. when i use to call them to their toll free number , there will be a computer generated response will be & says to enter the card number, then DOB when i enter my dob it says sorry wrong data.
          iam unable to understand what wrong the data entered by them which is not exactly matching with my profile. i want to correct my profile data but cant understand how to approach. when i personally met one sbicc sales executive he replied , sorry sir we cant help u as u have to call them by same toll free number again .

          SBI Credit Card — No response from SBI

          Hi,

          I had SBI Credit card. But due to theft, I lost same in train. I called SBI call center to cancel same. They said its cancelled and asked me to do remaining payment. I have paid same. But next month I got bill from them for late payment. When I called SBI Call center, they informed me not to worry, card is cancelled so no need to pay. But next month, I got bill with interest added. So I went to SBI Office in Mumbai and they told me that they can't do anything and I need to write to SBI Delhi office.

          I am not able to understand what to do? Call center and physical office in Mumbai is not able to help me. How can writing to SBI will help. Still I will be doing same.

          Your rep.Mr.Mukesh approached me for the issue of a credit card and collecteds all the documents required with a promise that the card wil be processed within 10 days, but no responce so far.

          SAME PROBLEM WITH ME
          I SUBMITED MY DOCUMENTS FOR NEW CREDIT CARD.3 WEEKS AGO.BUT YOUR PEAOPLE DID NOT RESPONDED ANYTHING .PLS EMAIL ME MY STATUS OF CREDIT CARD APPLICATION

          an amount of $ 19.95 is been taken from my credit card for the last two months by FRIENDFINDER without my consent and i had reported this matter to customer care of sbi creditcard division in the month of feb and again they have taken the same amount on 30th of feb which i recieved an sms on my mobile.Kindly stop these type of transactions immedietely.

            i am kanchan srivastava, sbi saving a.c no. [protected] rs 640/- debited on 5 june 2010 during the online pvr ticket booking through atm. i already had been given complain to sbi husain ganj branch 2 times, 1st complaint on 7 june and 2nd on 9th august still amount has not been credited in my account.
            kindly take needful action as per rbi guidelines.

              State Bank of India — LOSS OF CHEQUE

              My Saving Account No. is [protected]. I had dropped a cheque No. 863575 dated 06/01/2010 for Rs.7912.84 issued by UTI and drawn on Axis Bank in the drop box on 14/01/2010. As it was not credited to my account in reasonable time, I made inquiries with the bank. They were unable to trace the cheque. My request to issue a letter to the effect was turned down. Unless such a letter is issued, I cannot apply for the new cheque. My attempts to contact the Branch Manager have also failed as he was not available.
              This is not the first time that this has happened. Earlier also a cheque for Rs 100,000/- was lost in transaction and I could get the amount credited after three months.
              If such a thing can happen twice in my case, this must a regular feature. And if it is so it is a shame. The concerned Officer has gone to the extent of doubting my claim on the grounds that I may not have dropped the cheque.
              I suggest that the Bank should revert back to old system of collecting cheques and giving acknowledgement by stamping the counterfoil of the payment slip.
              I request you to look into the matter urgently.

                Sir,
                My late husband "Sri Bhairav Jha" was a pensioner and he was drawing his pension from Janakpur Road, Pupri Branch through SBI A/C No. : [protected] Vide PPO No. : 270437.

                He died on 7th Oct 2009. I, Mudrika Devi being his wife and now his widow has submitted on month of January all required paper duly attested along with his death certificate to Janakpur Road, Pupri Branch. Who has sent it to CPPC for action but no action has been taken. The bank told that within One month your pension will start but it did not start till date.

                When he died he did not withdraw her four months pension. After her death when we told to bank for her balance fund transfer to my Account. Then bank give some document and told give the disclamer. After some days we give all necessary document. Then he told I will inquiry all family member who have been signed in this form. I accept it. But till date bank is nither take any inquiry nor transfer my fund.

                When we go to branch the manager said I have dispatched your all document in CPPC patna. So you wait 15 days but till date its not end that period. The Bank not give any satisfactory reply.

                At age of 62 I have no other source of income and because o[censored]ndue delay in Family Pension I have suffered financial losses in last 1 year and had to bear hardship physically and mentally.

                  I am one among the ten staff being issued SBI credit card voluntarily. We didn't go for it. They came voluntarily and issued one. After knowing that my co-worker was cheated on using the same, I didn't want to use it at all and didn't even take it off the cover theyv'e sent. It's two years since I got it. Inspite of not using it at all, I am receiving bills around Rs.9800/- every month asking me to pay the amount. Above all, they often call me in my mobile phone and it's a great nuisance for me. What should I do?

                      ir i am Sundar from gurgaon my birth place is pondicherry.i am having joint a/c with my brother Sudhakar in SBI main branch pondicherry(A/C NO-[protected]).on 25th oct 2009 my brother withdrawn Rs20000 in ICICI ATM(mission street transaction id[protected])but money not came he came back next day he saw the statement money was missing in balance immediate he complaint in the sbi main branch complaint no.AT-[protected] but there is no response so the next complaint had done(AT-[protected])till no there is no replay so at last 6th July 2010 again complaint done([protected])but now also there is no replay. so please take follow this complaint please.at they told to ask icici but they telling already sent money ti sbi but there is no response please take immediate action as soon as possible.

                        I had lost my credit card on the 15th April,2010. Stop transaction intimitation was made and an FIR was lodged in the concerned Police station (Khandagiri P.S. of Bhubaneswar Police Commissionerate. The original FIR was sent to SBI Card along with request for a replacement card.The verification call was attended to by me on the 6th May 2010.

                        But no replacement card has been received by me till today, even after a lapse of more than 4 months since the date of verification call .Even after repeated complaints and requests there is no repsonse whatsoevr!I am surprised by such an indifferent and callous attitude from such an established bank as the SBI.
                        I repeat again how long it will take for the SBI to send me the replacement credit card?

                            SBI — about loss of money from account

                            I had opened an account in sbi allahabad agricultural branch, naini, allahabad, Account no [protected] in sep2008, i had applied for atm but not received it yet, my father had deposited 25000 in that account on 15 jan 2009, but now bank is showing that my amount has been withdawled through an ATM, bank's employee had given pin no to wrong person, please tell me what to do?

                            Dear Sir,

                            This is to bring your kind notice that my account is in SBI, PBB Koramangala a/c no [protected].

                            I had withdrawn 5000 Rs on 9 april 2009 from ATM.But this transaction got failed so at the same time i again made a transaction and recieved 5000 Rs. But when i checked my account statement i found that there is two times deduction of 5000 Rs. with same transction reference no. Rs 10000 has been deducted from my account while i got only Rs. 5000 . I comnplained so many times but no any action has been taken fron their side. so i am requesting you to check the matter and get my money back.

                            I am an outstation student studying in Delhi with an SBI account in Laitumkhrah branch, Shillong, Meghalaya.It is a considerably new account opened sometime at the end of June, 2009.I was issued an ATM card too which i have been using since I got to Delhi without any problems.
                            However, this month (i.e.August)I have witnessed a problem;money as always had been deposited in shillong and all I had to do was withdraw.This time strangely without having made any withdrawal transactions the updates on my cellphone was puzzling.
                            My mother had deposited a sum of Rs.2000/- a few days before the 10th of August and without my having made any transactions between that day and the 10th she had deposited an additional Rs.1000/- which rounded up my balance to Rs.3000/-.However the updates on my phone were different:the 1st update sent at 3:53p.m(which i actually recvd at 11p.m.)credited my account to Rs.3000/- while the 2nd update supposed to be sent at 5:32p.m.(actually recvd at 11:15p.m.)on the 10th of August said that my balance was Rs.1000/-!I HAD MADE NO TRANSACTIONS ON THAT DAY!Furthermore, again another sum of Rs.1000/-was deposited, the update of which i had recvd at 3:03p.m. on the 11th of August and nowhere to be found when i tried to make a transaction at C.R.park maket 2, HDFC bank which printed a statement saying my balance was nil.To top it all when my father, in Shillong, got the updates of the transactions made this month, the statement produced provided information saying that withdrawal transactions had actually been made.It is beyond my cromprehension as to what has gone wrong and where.My ATM card has always been with me and one needs to have both the PIN no. and the card to make any transactions.If i haven't made any transactions then someone else has but how?A withdrawal slip also needs my signature for anybody to withdraw.What am i supposed to do?How is one to find out about this?I am am at a loss!

                              asRBI guidelin only in CTS delhi over writing or correction cheque is not acceptable,see attech document
                              but i see every bank, even sbi all branches paste notice,AS RBI NOTIFICTATION NO CORRECTION CHEQUE WILL NOT ACCEPT,
                              IS SBI OFFICERS & STAFF ARE UNQULIFIED OR UNABLE TO READ RBI INCTRACTION ?
                              PLS,
                              take neccary action to fallow rbi notifation
                              made cerculer to every branch & news paper publication

                                This is to inform you that on 11 of August 2010 at 8 PM I tried to withdraw Cash from ATM of Bank of Baroda of Main Branch Sultanpur amounting 5000.00 for four transactions, in which i got three times Transations O K but Fourth was not successfull. My account had been debited by 5000 but cash was not given by the ATM. I had allready launched Complaint through Toll free no and i got a complaint No.-AT[protected] But i didnt got any responce. Again i sent an application to the Base Branch and they gave me Ticket No. through SMS on My Mobile No.-[protected] Like AT[protected] on 30 Aug 2010. My Account No is [protected] in the name of Brijesh Kr. Pandey Branch Address is Sagar Tower District centre Janakpuri New Delhi. Now i am waiting for Debit of My account amounting 5000 from last 19 Aug 2010.

                                Please do the needfull at the earliest.

                                  I have an accout in SBI, HARPALPUR.ACCOUNT NO [protected]
                                  even I deposited the money of Rs.100/. hundred. they are INTER CITY CHARGES for Rs.25/.
                                  balance i will have only Rs.577/. only..
                                  This is not good for middle class people. for depost money to bank accout. 25 rupees is not small...

                                  If they are going to do like this. I will close the SBI account. and never i will not use this bank.

                                  now the SBI is like ***** bank for making customers as begger

                                    I am holder of SBI card for last 10 years.Few months ago an offer for holidays was pursued by them as a privilege circle members .This offer is to be metallised by Heritage hotels pvt. Ltd. An amount of 6000/-plus was debited to my account.In the mid July,2010 I have submitted my request on prescribed form which has also been acknowledged by Heritage hotels.Since than the application is under process.I am going to selected destinations on 01-10-10 yet they have not confirmed my hotel reservations.I have also made the railway reservations accordingly.

                                    I learn from the reviews that it is a fraud co.and tends to cheat.I request through this forum that either the bookings of hotel as requested be confirmed within 15 days or else entire amount which has been debited to my card account be returned with interest and railway fare.

                                    I recently enrolled myself into Privilege Circle program in association with PLAT5. They offered me a holiday package along with some additional benefits.. Initially I thought how can a firm offer so many benefits without any profits & why is SBI being so generous to its customers??

                                    I got the answer when i came to know that services are being offered in association with this firm PLAT5. This company is providing unique concepts like "privilege program" to the banks & in turn they provide services on behalf of bank. Thus companies mutually benefit.Anyways I should be talking about my benefits. I received all the offers as were told to me... Got holiday of 2 nights & 3 days, 500 reward points on my credit card, a polo wrist watch & a flight ticket at a very reasonable price.Thanks to both the teams.
                                    I have paid Rs. 60000 from my sbi crdit card for to join privilage circle
                                    as it was falsly propogated by company sales girl in month of june. From this fraud, cheater company I received very cheap watch along with two
                                    vauchers one was about free booking at resort in differnt locations in India and abrod and other vaucher of flight. As per instructions of fraud company
                                    I have send vaucher of booking the resort at three different places with three different dates two months before the closing date given. Since last two months my request is pending.When I communicated by telephone the company girls did give me any asurance of booking and trying to make fool by saying that they are trying their best .Lastly I COME TO CONCLUSION
                                    That this is CHEATER, FRAUD company associated wiht reputed bank .I AM THINKING TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT -N.H.SHAHARE, AMRAVATI

                                    Recently I got an offer from SBI cards that they are providing 2 nights 3 days holiday vacations at resort. and base fare of one domestic tickets, 500 reward points & a Polo watch worth 5350 Rs. they are going to deduct from me 6067 Rs. So what can do..? can i avail this offer or if it is fraud can i cancel that. what i should do ...Pls advice me...Pls... Pls...

                                    Hello friends, I am satisfied customer of Plat5’s Privilege circle program, but I little disagree with him as I do faced few complexities while availing the services of privilege circle program. Initially they took a whole lot of time to book my flight ticket to Kolkatta, but here I would like to mention that I did call up their helpline number for the problem faced against their services and they were very quick to respond and assured me that I won’t ever face this situation again. They are very friendly and made me feel privileged on being a member of this program. The holiday booking was comfortably done at Goa, Phoenix Park Inn; a resort with world class facilities available. Thanks Plat5 .

                                      i an attemt to book an air ticket through GO AIR AIRLINES on 1st sept 2010 at 1800 hours ....i used my SBI debit card(domestic type) but as i clicked on the pay option i suddenly got an error message,due to which i got the amount of the flite deducted,but failed to book the ticket...so please refund me the desired amount....i checked my transactions and found this very transaction in the name "POS PRCH"POS...

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I had taken a SBI credit card in year 2007. But due to imcompetant service provided by them i decided to stop using the card. In the meantime i had applied for 2 insurance products through the card. During the last payment i instructed them to stop the insurance and nullify my dues. I hence made a cash payment for the shoppings i had made on the card and advised them to stop the premiums. I insisted on the written letter for closing the card, but the officials there told me that once you had intimated the call centre for closing you do not need to intimate further. Even my card was blocked instanteanously. After this happening after 1 year i received a call from sbi for dues, i was surprised by samand told them i had cleared the payment. nextly i come to know that they have not stopped the premiums and charged interest for premium due. also the policies have been also not active. i was horrified by the scene when i came to know that i was a defaulter in cibil too. sir, i advise to guide me in the said matter as i am receiving contionous calls from the recovery agents for the same. seeking advice and justice.
