sbi bagli and dewas is noy giving me the the educational loan without any reason . i have all the documents which is required for the loan and my marks are also good . when i approach to the bank manager manager , he usually says that my bank don;t have authority to give the loan and he sent me to the dist. level bank where they says that u can only get your loan from your nearest branch in a rude manner . my family condition is very bad and i want that appropriate action to be taken so that next student like me could not suffered

my father is having a salaried account in state bank of india from last 3 year.as I a securing MBA programme .I applied for the bank loan and my father is the guranter.but the bank is not giveing any positive response.my contact no is -[protected]
i m pursuing MBA in Thiyagaraja School Of Management, Madurai. I approached State bank of india, bodinayakanur, tamilnadu for educational loan . my requisition was turned out stating that there is a gap of 6 years between my BBA which i completed in 2002. I am employed with indian railways. I m on leave with no pay . pl let me know why my loan was rejected

Sub: Application for an Educational Loan rejected by the Branch – V.O.C. Nagar, Thanjavur - request to reconsider the application in my favour.

I am M.Dinesh residing at No.99, Thulasiyapuram, Co operative Colony Main Road, Thanjavur. I possess a Savings Account with the State Bank of India, V.O.C. Nagar Branch, Thanjavur. The account number is [protected]. I have been conducting banking transactions consistently and satisfactorily since the opening of the savings account in 2000 with the bank. So far, the credit summation in this single savings account has come to more than Rs. 12 Lacs. Since the month of January, 2008 itself, it comes to around Rs.1, 27, 550/-.
My mother, Mrs. M.Flora, also has her pension account with SBI at the same branch. The pension account number is [protected].
I file annual Income Tax Returns since 2002.
Recently I have applied for an Educational Loan at the branch on behalf of my wife, Mrs.V.Sebastian Nirmala who is currently doing D.T.Ed in Marudhupandiyar College, Vallam, and Thanjavur. Despite my satisfactory conduct of banking business with the bank’s branch all these eight years, the application for the loan has been rejected on the grounds of no valid reason. The branch has not offered me any reason of rejection. While others who fall in the same category of relevant financial requirement, I have been denied the offer of the loan. Meanwhile, I am in the lurch of financial constraints to the extent that I am not able to meet the financial obligations related to my wife’s current education. She has already through with her education mentioned above. Only with the educational loan that may be sanctioned by the bank will I be able to meet out this indispensable financial need. Now, I depend fully on the bank to meet out this financial necessity.
Therefore, I request you to reconsider the application for the educational loan in favor of the applicant.

I A.Jitendra rao holding an salary account in SBI Vijayawada(A.P)Patamata Branch A/C no[protected], swiped my debit card in jewellery shop on 20/11/08 for Rs 11005/- at that time swiping machine(hdfc bank) displayed the message unable to process, later on when I checked my a/c statement it was showing that rs11005/- is allready deducted, when I complained to jewellery shop they had given HDFC statement and their is no transaction of rs11005/-On 22nd november I had given written complaint to bank accountant but till date the amount is not reverted in my bank a/c.

Duplicate Debit from my ATM
I am holding an SB Account [protected] with SBI. P.H Road, Bodinayakanur. I have transacted my SBI Account through ATM dedit card[protected] once, but when i checked my SB account statement it was showing that the amount was debited twice, when i complained PEKING CHINESE Restaurant, Coimbatore. they had given HDFC account statement and there is only one transaction of Rs 1860 on 18.10.2008.

I had already given three written complaint to SBI bank, Bodinayakanur.
When I complied first time they asked to get a statement from HDFC. I have collected and given to them.
Second they asked all the details, even i have to them as a third complaint, but till date the amount is not credited in my SB account. Kindly look into the above issue and re credit the amount to my SB account at the earliest.

What would be the case if i have drawn 10000/- ? Then what is the need of SBI ATM Card.Dont know how many days SBI needs to solve my Issue ?

I am a student of BANGALORE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS from kolkata named sanjay saha. I have applied for educational loan from sbi on 28.1.2010, but I have got rejection letter on 8.2.2010, and cause of not giving loan is given that our institute is not recognized by UGC. But I have given all details which clearly indicated that my course is fully recognized by UGC. And it is more pathetic that after the date of rejection of my loan document sbi gave sanction letter of loan from the same institute and the same course when I have shown that they refused to look that and I have been terminated from the sbi zonal office name JIVAN SUDHA, by processing officer named M.K.SEN. date 13.2.2010, time just 12 o"clock in the afternoon.

I have given you a another information which is very much necessary to justify that if our institute is not reconized by ugc though I have all the document which prove that it fully recognized by ugc, the bank had already sanction the loan after the date of my rejection , and they are saying that it our mistake.

In 2007 we had taken education loan from SBI for my brother who want to do engineering from Indore. we had taken two installment of about 59, 000 each.they had not given any document as proof.when my father went there to get more knowledge about insurance (bima) facility n all. they just ignored him telling even they do not have any knowledge about insurance (bima). then after 2 year, in April 2009 my brother suffered from viral fever and unfortunately died.after two year bank sent us letter asking for the money taken by us.we had given an application and death certificate to manager requesting them to forgive the amount because our economical condition is too worst that we will not be able to pay money taken by us from the respective bank in any condition.but they refused to do so and added intrest on that of about 78, 000, nw total amount we have to give is 1, 96, 000. i am the only daughter left, doing BCA and about to marry soon.my father have lots of burdun regarding my education and marrige too. therefore, please help me out to solve this problem anyhow so that i could help my parents somehow.

    I am a customer of SBT, Alwarpet Branch Chennai. I was given an SBI ATM cum Debit card in June this year.

    While the ATM card works on ATM machines, we have not been able to do a single transaction on IRCTC.com (train ticket booking)

    We have spoken several times to the branch as well as to the call center of SBI.

    But I have not been able to get a solution except hearing that there are problems with atm cards relating to Associate banks of SBI.

    This is to request for a solution to this problem.

    SAME IS MY PROBLEM; IRCTC BOOKIGN DOES NOT SHOW AN OPTION OF SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD IN THE 'PAYMENT OPTIONS WINDOW' OF TICKET BOOKING. IS THIS FOR ENABLING AGENTS MAFIA TO BLOCK ALL TICKETS AND POOR PUBLIC SHOULD ONLY CRY AND CRY AND BE A LOOSER????
    WHY RAILWAYS IS DUMB ON SUCH COMPLAINTS?? ARE THE GETIGN THEIR CUTS FROM AGENTS????

      I had taken SBI credit card. At the time of taking card it was told to me that this is free card which means I need not pay any thing extra, if I repay amount within stipulated period. And I have not opted for any insurance scheme at that time. Still when I received first statement, I found that some amount for insurance premium is included. I immediately called customer service and told them to cancell that but it was not done after repeated requests. I stopped using card in 2008. Now they are showing me outstanding 12000/- Pl guide me.

        Wanted to inform you that I, Satish L Saka, had taken your Credit Card Plan and didnot recieve the credit card from 1 Jan 2009 till date.

        I haven't recieved credit card yet. So I am not able to take any benefits from the card which I am suppose to get. I didnot expect such poor service from such a big recognised bank.

        I hope that you look into this matter and reciprocate as early as possible.

            hello sir/madam,
            this is pavithra from pondicherry....
            8 months ago i applied for demat account in SBI main branch.. still i dint receive my client id and password..
            i contacted many people.. but no use.. actually i could not use my demat account itself and i am receiving monthly statements alone.. they deducted the money rs.400 from my account for opening account..

            for this information, i received one mail like my client id is ESBI 232694, but the password was not given if i click the forgot password link, its like invalid id.. i asked about the password.. i m not getting reply from them also..

            i visited the bank nearly ten times, called them nearly fro 50 times.. my time and money only wasted..

            now, i dont want to open account with them.. i want my money back.. can u help me?

              One 1000 rupees fake note received form SBI ATM (ATM ID-S10A[protected],) TXN NO.5596,5597 and Transaction time 10/092010 at 10:4AM and 10:42AM. I came to know about the fake note when i deposited the same in ICICI bank, they kept that note and give a annexure receipt with details. Then immediately i complained to SBI customer care, but they suggested to visit nearest SBI Branch for further action. Now SBI is not ready to accept the complain. Also attaching the annexure received from ICICI bank for your reference.

              Now what should i do in such case, where I've to bear loss of 1000 rs?
              And how one can trust any banks ATM for such kind of incidents?

              State Bank of India — Forged Note received Rs.1000

              Dear Sir,

              I have withdrawn Rs. 3 lac from our saving account for deposit in two different bank. But when I going to deposit the amount to ICICI bank Thakur village Kandivali Mumbai. They found one forged note of Rs1000. Serial No. 5BD 482879. this note not return by bank only acknowledgement letter given.

              Then I am visit again to SBI bank Lokhandwala Kandivali E mumbai, requested please one person with me to resolve the issue but no budy come with me or any action taken by bank.

              Just asking for proof.
              Please tell me sir where is my fault why I suffer.

              Please suggest what I can do futher.

                Sir,

                Ref. : SBI CREDIT CARD NO. : [protected]

                Credit Limit was : 20000/- and I had paid the amount to SBI but not sure Ho much balance was at that time.

                I am not using this credit card from 2001 onwards, I call SBI Credit Card Customer Support to know the status of this card and Balance if any in the month of Septmember , 2010. They told out standing on the card is Rs.4 lacs some thing.

                I got a call from SBI credit Card department demanding amount for settlement the card Rs.385000/-

                I wished to settle the card and requested them to settle the card on principal amount dues. They denied the same.

                Between 2001 and 2005, I suffered a lot in financial crises. this was very very bad time for my life.

                I wrote mail to SBI head in this regards but no reply from them. Just received two call only.

                Now no body is calling me except sending the statement of credit cards.

                Please help me

                  I have had SBI card No:[protected](Pushpa.V) And I have surrendered the card by cutting it into 4 pieces and dropped in drop box at Technopark,Thiruvanthapuram in the year 2007.I have paid the outstanding amount of Rs.5931 and Rs.713 through SBI cheque no:429388 and 429389, dated 12/3/'07 and 14/3/'07 respectively.Even then,I have been harassed continuosly by your executives over phone.Therefore,I demand compensation in return for the mental agony caused by your company.

                  I request you to settle this matter within one week lest I should take up the matter with OMBUDSMAN.

                    Myself Gaurav Maithil and my brother Paritosh Maithil have taken a home loan in the month of june 2010. I have paying the interest religiously since last 3 months ,nothing has been explained to me regarding the scheme that has been given to me and no proper procedure has been explained to me and my brother which is to be done as soon as the loan is sanctioned. we have our job and various important works as well and we cannot come to the bank everyday to find out all these, 2 weeks back SBI has used one of post dated cheques (of ICICI) given by me, for the insurance purpose, prior doing this they have not informed me, due to insufficient money in the account i had to pay the penalty to ICICI, i need a justification regarding who should be held responsible for this insult that i have to bear.
                    There is lack communication from bank staff.
                    Since the beginning the sanction of the loan had been delayed and simple reason for this is nothing but the responsible staff either being on leave or mere carelessness.
                    I hope to get a reply for all this as soon as possible or else i might have to take a further step against the personnels

                        With deep regret I wish to inform you that my query which was escalated on 18.09.10 has been replied over by Ms.Catherine Senior Executive on 13.10.10 inspite of several mails that the request cannot be considered as the en-cash offer date has already expired.

                        In this regard I wish to understand the following.

                        1.If you are not going to consider the request and say no to the customer why have you taken such a long time to revert for which I have send more than 20 reminders and I have called your customer care no of times and holded each call around 20 minutes.

                        2.Why are you sending a reply to the customer without the name of the person who is answering the query by just mentioning as AVP – Customer service. Are you people at SBI are coward and you are really not able to face the customer.

                        3.Query escalated on 18.09.10 was replied on 13.10.10 over phone by Ms.Catherine for which I have send number of email reminder and I have even spoke to Ms.Catherine Senior Executive on 05.10.10 (Tuesday) and she has promised me to revert on the status of the query on 08.10.10 (Friday) but I have not received a reply from her end. I have again called the customer service on 11.10.10 (Monday) asking for Ms.Catherine Senior Executive where I have been ask to hold the call around 15 minutes and later it was replied that she would make a call back within ½ hour as she is very busy with another customer call. Why are you people not brave to face the customer and agreeing to make a call back to the customer in your leisure hour. I have received a call back around 1 hour and she has replied that she would revert on the query within 2 days. Why are you taking such a long time to resolve the query ,are you people really not ashamed for calling the customer repeatedly and asking to extend the date for solving the query.

                        Since SBI card is the company which is being operated according to your own whims and fancy without considering the customer benefit and do not have a proper way of handling queries I believe this is the right time to take a call whether I should continue using your useless service. You simply keep calling the customer when you sales department are very eager to achieve the target and you do not specify any date for taking the offer to the customer and when the customer comes to you asking for the offer you say the same has expired. It is really pathetic. I have also written my escalation mail to Ms.Divya Dhody VP Customer service and Nodal officer for which also I have not received any revert from your end.

                        Kindly provide the below details as soon as possible.

                        1.Reply to my mail stating the reason for not considering the request.
                        2.Reason for the delay in reply for the query escalated on 18.09.10
                        3.Formalaities to be done for the closure of Credit Card.

                          I have taken a loan of Rs.200,000 for the session 2009-11 from SBI's Branch Supwal (J&K) and my father's annual income is less than Rs.1.5 lac.

                          From above it is clear that I am eligible for the subisidized interest scheme for the educational loan.

                          Sir I have approached the bank, but they are providing the right information to me.

                          The manager is saying that this scheme is for students whose father's annual income is less than Rs.4000 per month and for loan less than Rs. 50,000.

                          Sir I till today have paid interest of around Rs.7000

                          So, Please have a look to this matter, otherwise I have to make a loss of Rs. 35,000-45,000

                            Hello, I am jahnvi k mehta, my SBI account number is [protected], i tried to withdrew money fro Hyderabad State bank ATM machine but it did not work so give a slip o[censored]NABLE TO PROCEED. later I withdrew money from another ATM machine but the mini statement shows debit of rs 2500 two times where as i got money only once. this happened on 7 the oct , the concerned person said to wit for two days and matter ill resolve as the amount of the machine is counted . I waited till today but I have yet not got the refund of y money.

But I requested several times to credit my pension in to my account, But no one is taking resposibility for the same, & saying that we have to credit pension of all the pensioners of the Madhya Pradesh, & after so much requests yet today on 12.10.2010 i have not recd. any pension. My pension is pending from last two months, As my wife is suffering from severe kidney diesease and she is on dialysis, It should be 2 times in a week which cost Rs. 4000/- per dialysis at paras hospital gurgaon. How should it be possible to take treatment without money. So please take quick action against this bank & branch as soon as possible. Hoping for your prompt action.

                                    In the month of December, 2008, I purchased SBI Mutual Fund, Blue Chip for Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) and was allotted 4084.967 units under Folio No.11521160. On 19/01/2010, I redeemed 2084.967 Units @ Rs.12.49 each when NAV was above Rs. 13.50. It is notable that I have not been paid any Dividend during the period. Again on 1st October 2010, I redeemed the balance quantity of 2000 units and was paid @ Rs. 14.05 while NAV on the day of processing was Rs. 16.12 (Authority The Telegraph, Kolkata.) Again it is mentionable that I have not been paid any Dividend for the period. I would like to know whether The Telegraph is misguiding Customers or the Computer Age Management Services who are managing and sending un openable statements to Customers are Cheating and maintaining improper accounts. It is not obvious for every Compouter to have acrobat reader to open the account statement on E-mails. The CAMS may send statement by post. However I would like to know the actual NAV on the dates when the deposit is on growth and not Dividend Payout.
