Spice/ mobile handset D88N — INVALID IMEI No

My Spice handset has got invalid IMEI NO - [protected], pls help me what to do?

I am also facing the same problem

I Purchase SPICE D-88 Handset Moblie before one Year ago. In this Set So many Problem i am facing. this set and Spice Company both not user Friendly. when i have a problem in set i repair to in customer care then they take not seriously. So
all new customer i request not purcahse any spice set and it other things to related spice.

Spice Mobile - D88n — Invalid IMEI no.

In 2008 I purchased a Spice Mobile D88n model from Mobile Store, having IMEI no as [protected], in the pack as well as inside the handset. But recently after the Govt. directive, I checked using *#06# and found that the IMEI is showing as [protected], which is fake.

I got my IMEI changed from Spice Authorized Service Center mentioned below on 24/11/2009.

But, sadly again the handset IMEI got reset to [protected] by itself. As a result, the Airtel GSM service is showing "SIM Registration Fail", and no calls are possible. Now when I again went to the aforesaid Service Center, they are asking for Rs. 200/-...

Kindly suggest what I should do?
