Spice Mobile Handset QT-56 — Defective Mobile Handset QT-56 and fraud at service Center

I have purchased Spice Mobile handset QT-56 in July 2010 from Hot Spot in Sarita Vihar. Since day 1 it started problem of automatic off and restart. I visited the seller. He told me to visit the service center. I tried reaching the service center on phone no.s available on your website and numbers taken from internet. But with bad luck and with no option but to use the defective phone. In the meantime the keypad also started problems. Various numbers were not pressed properly. Another problem which started was of automatic dialing.

After getting fed up with the phone, I somehow managed to reach your Noida service center at Sector-63. The lady at the reception taken the handset and told me that it will take 15-20 mins to check and confirm about the problem. A form was given to me and I had filled the same and handed over to the lady with the handset. They, then asked me to get the photocopy of the original bill without which they cannot do anything. I went for getting the photocopy done. When I returned back, I was shocked to listen that the phone has water in it. That was not actually water and some green color ointment and was very fresh. I asked them that how is it possible that the phone has water and it’s working. The ointment is so fresh like it was poured on it. They told me that they cannot do anything and the warranty is void and I have to pay a service fees of Rs. 250/- for getting it checked for the problem.

I was surprised that how they can put water in my phone. I refused to pay any money and taken the phone back. Then, the entered the details of the phone in their system that the warranty is void. They have made fool of me. Another shock was when I reached home and switched on the phone, the screen goes totally blank. Earlier the handset screen was totally ok and now the screen doesn’t show anything. I am receiving calls but can’t see anything. Can’t even dial any number, cannot sms and even don’t know it’s charging or not.

They cheated me like anything. I request you to replace the handset or else give my money back immediately or I have to approach the appropriate forum for justice.

SPICE MI300 — BAD SERVICE

I HAVE SUBMITTED MY SPICE MOBILE HAVING MODEL NO:- MI-300 TO THE SERVICE CENTER NAMED M/S H.G. SERVICE CENTRE AFTER HAVING PROBLEM OF CHARGING JACK ON THE MOBELE PHONE. THEY HAVE ASSURED ME THAT MY MOBILE WILL GET REPAIRED WITHIN 15 DAYS (THAT TIME MY MOBILE WAS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD). AFTER 15 DAYS IT DINT GET REPAIRED AND THEY TOLD ME FOR SENDING IT TO SPICE COMPANY BUT AFTER SOME DAYS THEY REPLIED ME AND TELLING ME THAT SPICE COMPANY HAVNT REPAIRED IT, I AM FACING A HELL LOT OF PROBLEM SINCE THIS IS MY ONLY PHONE AND I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE EXCEPT THIS. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER URGENTLY AND HELP ME TO GET MY PHONE BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, OR ELSE I WILL BE FORCED TO MOVE TO CUNSUMER FORUM FOR THIS.

Spice Mobile M940 — No getting my spice m940 since last 3 months.

Hey can any one from spice mobile hearing this. This is Prashant from Pune. And i had given my phone in pune based spice service center under warranty as its was dead. On 23 Sep 2010. After that, service center guys telling come on this day, that day. or some fake stories like handset was came from company but got wet so we sent it back to company. Even i think i have lost my money for calling. I contacted customer care. They given me one head persons phone from mumbai, he too telling same stories that we will send this handset tomorrow or we have sent it. blah blah blah..... even icontacted you guys on twitter but got just reply and not single phone call.

I was about to purchase spice's Android phone but after looking this overall experience i dropped that idea and selected HTC. Out of 12 months 3 months gone in service center. i.e i lost 3 months warranty.

Spice i am waiting for your answer and not my phone.

Spice — New phone replaced by service center

Hi,
I have purchased spice handset qt-52 in sep'10.
And suddenly its not charging. i have given my new phone to service center.
They have changed my new hanset with old handset and old one is not properly working.
And they are refusing to give new handset.
Please advise what necessary action should be taken to get new handset form company.

This is to inform you that i have purchased model no. QT 56 ON DATE[protected] IN Which encountered a auto switch off problem and i have complained it for many times
firstly on[protected] job sheet no.-306831,
secondly on[protected] job sheet no.-300321,
thirdly on[protected], but there is still no response till date
So, i kindly request you to solve this problem as soon as possible because these problems are quite irritating and are forcing me to take strict legal action against your company.

Spice Mobile QT 61 — Mobile is getting hanged while surfing

Dear Sir,

I have purchased new Mobile handset of Spice Make model no.QT61 from HOTSPOT mobile shop, Ring Road on 26th July 2011 and same is getting hanged since 28th July. I have approched to Shop but not getting proper response and i am asked to go to service centre. Now being a new mobile, i want replacemnet of piece and not repair. They are not entertaining my request.

Kindly sugget the way ahead.

I HAVE PURCHASE A SPICE MOBILE ,BUT AFTER 4 OR 5 MONTHS I SUFFER A CALL SILENT AND NETWORK PROBLEM INTO MY MOBILE AND FOR THAT I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME SHOW MY MOBILE AT SPICE SERVICE CENTER, ALL TIME THE PERSON TELL ME PUT YOUR PHONE HERE WE WILL BE CHEACKED AND REPAIR IT AND THAN GIVE BACK TO YOU, AFTER THE REPAIRING I FACE THE SAME PROBLEM BY 2ND DAY AGAIN I VISIT AGAIN SAME PROBLEM, AGAIN AND AGAIN I VISITED MORE THAN 5 TIMES AT SERVICE CENTER( 5 MONTHS PUT PHONE AT SERVICE CENTER) AFTER THE 3RD TIME I REQUEST THEM TO PLEASE IF ITS NOT CLEARED CHANGE ME THE MOBILE ( REPLACEMENT IN A WARRANTY PERIOD) BUT THEY REPLY WE CAN NOT DO . TILL TODAY THEY HAVNT SOLVE THE MY PROBLEM NOR CHANGE ME THE MOBILE .
REPLY ME WHAT TO DO ? IF MY PROBLEM WILL NOT SOLVE, I WILL COMPLAINT AT CONSUMER FORUM THAT'S IT.
