[Resolved]  State Bank of India ATM — money not received but deduct the balance

Dear sir,

I, Raghvendra Narayan Singh, Saving A/c No[protected], costomer of State Bank Of India, Sitamarhi bazar branch, Sitamarhi, Bihar. I tried twice to withdraw Rs. 3500/= (Three thousand five hundred) only from the ATM of Punjab National Bank, New Market, Frazer Road, Patna, Bihar.on 10th August 2009 around 6 o clock evening, I could not get the rupees, but when I cheked my account balance next morning my account was debited by the same amount.

I submitted the written application on 17th August 2009, then after when my account was not credited till 31st August 2009 I submitted a reminder application on the same day.But till date my account has not been credited by the sum.

Sir, as presently I don't reside in Sitamarhi it is very much difficuilt for me to visit the branch frequintly and ask for this.So, please look in to the matter and do the needful.

I have made a withdrawal from Andhra Bank RK Complex Tanuku on 01.01.2010. 1st transaction in Record No 5189 was declained and withdrawan an amount of Rs 2000/- vide record No. 5191. But i found in the statement that the amount vide record no 5189 was debited Rs 2000/-. Hence i request to inquire the matter and credit the the amount of Rs 2000/- which was not withdrawn, but debited from my account on 01.01.2010at 12.25Pm and ATM Id NC512601.

ATM of SBI bank — Money Has been Deducted Twice

I Am Roymon Raju. I am Wotking in Birla Sunlife Insurance PVT LTD.(H.O), Mittal Estate, near Sakinaka.
Today I had Gone To SBI ATM In mittal Estate to withdraw
some money. At First as i inserted my ATM card in the machine it asked my PIN code. after putting the PIN code. I pressed the Enter button to proceed forward. It asked me how much i wanted to withdraw and i entered the digit 200 and the machine got hanged after that a receipt came stating that " I am soory your request cannot be proceeded, and after that i cancelled the procedure and once again entered the amount 200 lukily that time i got the money but when receipt came out to my Shock i had noticed that the 200 which i have not got has been deducted from my A/C.
What service these banks are providing. pls look into the matter and refund may money.

I want to say that today (14/10/2010) morning around 09:32pm I went to an IDBI bank ATM (ATM ID: ATM2331) to withdraw money from my SBI atm card. I entered Rs. 1200/- to withdraw but this IDBI bank atm neither dispensed cash nor provided the transaction slip for this transaction. After waiting for sometime when I checked my balance, it showed Rs. 200/- less.
Sir, I request you to look into this matter and resolve my problem and oblige.

SBI — ATM did not dispense cash but balance deducted from my SBI account

I MUDE JAYARAM NAIK having an a/c in the SBI PATTIKONDA, ANDHRA PRADESH. MY a/c no [protected]. when i tried to withdraw Rs. 8100/- from my a/c [protected] on 1st JANUARY 2010 around 05.00pm from the ANDHRA BANK ATM at Allagadda, Kurnool (Dist.), ANDRHRA PRADESH at the time i received a massage of a slip sorry unable to process.
so that i could not recievd any money .
but when i checked the balance from the other atm after an hour the balance was deducted from my a/c.

sir i have already given the complain to the ANDHRA BANK ATM at Allagadda, Kurnool (Dist.), ANDRHRA PRADESH and also SBI PATTIKONDA, ANDHRA PRADESH. but till now no any reply come not the money .

State Bank of India — 500 money has been cut from my account

sir my 500 rs of money has been cutted from my sbi account. my account no is [protected]. puttaparthy branch , anantapur (dis).andhra pradesh.

I reside at Anandapuri, Barrackpore, 24-Parganas(N), under u r BIDHANNAGAR Z.O.This is a residential area where most of the days in a month/year, THE S.B.I.ANANDAPURI BR.ATM Machine remains defunct.Most of the days I used to get A.T.M. transaction slip with"TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED""PL. VISIT SOME OTHER NEAREST SBI.ATM. FOR U.R. SERVICE".I, being an old man facing much difficulty.From 15.01.10 a notice was hunged with objection on the close shutter door, "DUE TO STUCK KEY BY SOME MISCRIENTS, IT REMAINS CLOSED. POLICE AND CONTROL OFFICE INFORMED - SORRY FOR U R INCONVENIENCE".My question is how an urgent & importent service of your Bank is being denied for so many days without proper attention by your authority?This is gross violation of service which is agreed terms between a customer & Banker.
Your urgent attention is needed.

when i tried to withdraw rs 2300 from my a/c [protected] on 23rd jan 2010 around 13:28 pm from the sbi atm maharanipeta collector office jn,,vizag at the time atm machine not worked so that i could not recievd any money nor any cash withdraw reciept from the atm.
but when i checked the balance from the other atm after 15 minuets the balance was deducted from my a/c.

I tried to withdraw money using citi bank atm from 9 BRD CANTEEN I SBI ATM on[protected] of amount Rs 2500/- but transaction had took place and i have not recieved cash but still the amount has deducted from my account. Hello sir, i had withdrawn 1000 rs cash form atm on july 21 2009 from Delhi but cash didn't come form atm.and money deducted from my account . i complained it to the branch manager and also wrote an application but he didn't take any action till now.

when i tried to withdraw rs 5000 from my a/c [protected] on 2nd fab 2010, 10:30 pm from the sbi atm balco sector 5 .in this time no txt but deduct money.

but when i checked the balance from the other atm after an hour the balance was deducted from my a/c.

Student — not withdraw money but showing in receipt

On 28/02/10 evening, my cash amount of Rs 1000 went inside the ATM due to malfunctioning of machine, but my account is showing withdrawl of Rs 1000,
please cosider the above said matter and return my deducted amount.

SBI ATM — False deduction of Rs 5000/- through SBI ATM Card

I went to ATM of SBI Jaipur (Military Stn Jhotwara Branch) on 06 Dec 09. I wanted to withdraw RS. 5000/-. Transaction was over. Money was denied but the amount of Rs 5000/- was deducted from my account. Immediately I lodged a complaint at 24 X 7 customer care and to the Branch Manager of AF Stn Barrackpore since I am account holder of that Branch. I posted a written complaint to that Branch on 07 Dec 09 and a copy to Military stn Jaipur Branch.
Now, it is more than three months past, the falsely deducted amount is not yet credited into my account. Request do the needful.

I work for Union Bank of India, but would like to make a suggestion based on my experience

You were correct in giving the request in writing at your base branch ie where you have your account from which money has been withdrawn.

Since it is the same bank, they should not have any difficulty verifying the ATM records and arranging refund of money to you.

As per RBIs instructions SBI has to refund the money to you anyway at the end of 12 days from your complaint, or Rs 100 per day penalty thereafter, unless they deny the error. Please write to them again, including this point

Please also lodge the complaint on their website, including the above point

My account is with Paontasahib main branch. My account no is [protected]. I made ATM transcation on 12th DEC.2009 in State bank ATM at Paontasahib branch. At this branch there are 2 ATM machines in a room. I started my transcation in 1st machine, I inserted the ATM card & entered my Pin no.but there was no response from ATM, I press Cancle key & Clear Key to cancel my transcation, but I found the keys ware blocked & not working, then I proceed my transaction in another machine & withdraw Rs.200.On date 16th DEC.2009 when I checked My balance by Ministatement then I found there are Rs.20000 deducted my account, I forwarded my written complaint to concenered branch, they checked there record & found that someone was removed 20000 from my account, I forwarded the Complaint to Paontasahib Policestation for enquiry. Till time I don't get any response from Bank & Police Station. It is totally negligency of branch manager as the machine was under maintance from last few days, but no any status found on machine related under maintance & also the clear & cancel Keys are blocked with some glue.
I requested you to look into this matter & take corrective action & help me for return my money.
