[Resolved] State Bank of India — Not providing home loan for village

Hi, Place- SBI, Tiruapttur Branch, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu-635601 I have approched SBI bank for Home loan with the proper documents reqiured. Manager has replied saying that SBI doesnt provide Home loan's for village area's. If Home loans are not given for village, then how villages will grow in our country. To whom i can approch other than my government to get loan for my purpose. I dont want to come out of my village. Please help me and provide the loan for my village. Yes boss... same thing happened to me with ICICI bank...

I don't know how come these are not considering villages in country like India where 80% of population is in villages...
