Sub: Complaint for Exorbitant Charges.

Dear Sir,

I have the above referred Current Bank Account in the name of my proprietorship company namely M/s. MMS Videos & Graphics and I am the undersigned proprietor of this company.
Recently, I have gone through the bank statement of the aforesaid account and it has come to knowledge that your goodself have charged Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) for Account Keeping Fees and Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) for Minimum Balance Charges, although I have kept sufficient balance in the said account till[protected]. The Minimum balance was reduced as you people have charges Rs. 550/- for Account Keeping fees on[protected] that too without my knowledge.

I have maintained the required balance in my aforesaid account even your bank has charged Rs. 1000/- for Minimum Balance Charges, which is exorbitant and is on very higher side and not at all acceptable. Whenever there is huge balance maintained in Current bank accounts banks are not give any kind of interest or benefits to the account holders, whereas due to the slaps in maintaining the balance in current banks are charging heavy charges to the customer which totally unfair and un-genuine in nature. I think RBI has not defined any criteria for such charges and conditions/circumstances that when this kind of charges should be imposed, thus I request you, RBI and Banking Ombudsman look in to this matter and stop playing common public.

Therefore you are requested to reverse this Charge and Credit my account with Rs. 1000/- at the earliest, otherwise I have to purse this matter with higher authorities, because the minimum balance was reduced due to Account Keeping Fees Charged by your bank on[protected], with out any notice to account holder.

I hope and do trust that your goodself will look into this matter and will do the needful at the earliest and oblige.

Extremely unhappy with SBI dooravaninagar branch service.. too bad.
Pls somebody look into this.
Yes I do agree, i had applied Loan takeover from other bank and the bank authority told me to get the Lawer opinion. i got legal, estimation and all other documents ready and property been verified they came to my office and verified all according to rules. but fine day they said that we can not provide loan. i assume that bank provdes loan only i[censored] pay the bribe. this is too much.
Never open cuurrent accounts with SBI or any other nationalized banks. PSU Banks are meant for savings accounts only. They will simply rob the current account holders on different grounds of service charges. Just log on to www.cityunionbank.com to get surprised for their lowest ever service charges both for current and savings account holders. CIUB is the oldest bank in India established in the year 1904.

    I am student of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras ( IIT Madras). I am expecting an International transaction from Netherlands amounting to Rs 66, 746. I am a account holder in SBI bank at IIT Madras branch. My account details are as follows:

    I have been contacting them regarding the transaction and they told me that they have transferred the money to my Account but I haven't received the
    money yet.

    The above message is their response to my Query. I also contacted SBI branch at IIT Madras but they said that they haven't received any message related to this transaction.
    I would request you to look into this matter as early as possible. According to bank in Netherlands they have paid the money to Indian Bank on 3rd of april 2009.
    I would be highly grateful if you could help me to sort out this issue. and get me my money as soon as possible
    Its almost over 2 months I m not getting any reply from the Bank officials that what have they done with my transfered money Please get me justice

      Hi,

      i am ajit from Amritsar.I have saving a/c in main branch Amritsar. I have rqsted SBI one month before for unable my txn rights but still nothing has happened.After that i have visited three time regarding same issue and waste my lot of time in the branch but no one there take it seriously.realy.and i have suzzestion to you people that stop writing coplaints here bcoz SBI people even do not now how to start the computer, internet is so far from them...i will surely close this a/c and hope u`ll too.

        'SPECIALIST OFFICERS' Posts recruitment Delayed

        I have applied for the post of SPECIALIST OFFICERS in SBI bearing advertisement ID: (ADVT No. CRPD-SCO-2008-09/10) way back in January 29th 2009.
        Till now i did not get any response from the Recruitment Board.Atleast they did not give any exam date also till now. They charged around Rs 250/- per person. When i keep a mail to SBI help line Mail ID i did not get any response.
        This is a very rude behavior on the part of SBI Recruitment...

        i have applied for educational loan for my higher studies but the nearest SBI bank is not issuing my request.I asked the reason but they replied that my father is not a CCL employ so he will not be given loan.please help me otherwise my future will get doom.

          On[protected], in the evening I had withdrawn Rs. 2500/- from SBI ATM near New Delhi Railway Station between 4.00 pm to 5.00 PM. I have a savings account (A/c no : [protected]) in SBI, Arambagh, Hooghly, WB branch.

          When I checked my account balance on the same day in the evening, I found that 2500/- has been debited TWICE (i.e. in all Rs. 5000/- ) against my account with same ATM transaction no.

          I had already given a complain letter regarding this, to the Customer Relation Officer in SBI, Arambagh, Hooghly, WB. Also, I had gone to the bank several times for enquire. But the Customer Relation officer told me to wait and it will take time.

          The fact is that, till today[protected] I haven't got my money back.

          Sir, Please look into this matter or please guide me what should i do?

          I am a cusstmer of state bank of Bikaner & Jaipur . I have a saving a/c in SBBJ bank which is 4yr old.
          on date 10/08/09 I used my card in another bank atm machine for 500 rupess I did it twice but it was unable to process but when I checke it today on 11/08/09 my a/c got 1000 deducted balance.

          so its my kind request to take this matter seriously & inform me when I will get my money back.

            I used my SBI ATM card of Dehradun, Rajpur Road Branch on June 01, 2009 at ICICI Bank ATM at Sec-45 B, Chandigarh.
            I swaped the card for Rs 1500/- as a result of which a transaction slip came out saying transaction declined and money did not appear, i tried again but the same thing happend.I thought there is some problem with the machine so i went to another machine where i used my card and came to know that the sum of Rs 1500/- is already deducted from my account when i used the ICICI Bank ATM.
            Sir/Madam, i request you to kindly consider the case as i am very new in chandigarh and had come here for a job, Rs1500/- mean a lot to me at this time.

            ICICI & SBI Bank — Transaction declined by ATM, money not refunded

            Dear Sir/Madam:

            I am an existing ICICI Bank customer for the last 8 years (A/c No.[protected]. As per RBI regulations, I am free to use my debit card on any bank's ATM from 01/04/2009. I used my ICICI bank debit card on an SBI ATM (Rohini Sector 13 DDA Market) to withdraw Rs. 1000. That transaction was declined by the ATM. I then proceeded to ICICI Bank ATM at ICICI Branch, DC Chowk, Sector 9, Rohini, and withdrew the amount from that ATM. However, when I checked my balance around 2 days after that, it showed that Rs. 1000 was deducted twice from my A/c on that same date. When I contacted ICICI bank, I was told that it will take around two months to get my Rs. 1000 reverted back to my account.

            I hope you please look into the matter and kindly clarify.

            The same problem has occurred with me when i went to axis bank atm to with draw money from my state bank atm card, so what is best advice is with draw money from the same bank atm machine instead of any other bank, because the risk of technical errors will be less.

              I am Durgesh Prakash Srivastava. I have a Account in SBI Medical road Aam Bazar Basharatpur Gorakhpur Branch. My Acconut No. [protected] And ATM Card No.[protected].In this account I withdrawl Rs. 1200.00 By ATM card at ATM of ICICI Bank Branch Sec 18 Noida (Near GAIL Sec 2) at 6.09 A.M. dated 12/04/09 and All Process be cleared But Cash not dispensed in ATM and account debited and give msg Internet Error.

              and give me mail Sir,

              As branch comes under Lho Lucknow, we are forwarding your mail to them for further action at their end.


              SBI HELPLINE NEW DELHI L.H.O. and give me mail Lucknow help line show in below attach in doc.
              but till now my account not credited and I am not satisfied from SBI, So I complaint to you.
              And I hope refund my Rs.1200.00.

              I want to plz take action fast and return My Rs. 1200.00 in My Account.

              hello
              I am Sanjeev Kumar Punia. I have the saving account in sector-26, noida with SBI bank. My account no is : [protected]. I took the petrol of Rs. 700/= in my bike from Bharat petrolium south ex, new delhi on 10th mar 2008 with my SBI debit card. But due to some reason the amount of Rs. 700/= has been withdraw three times and revert back one time. means amount is debited two times instead of one.

              I put the request so many times but till now there is no solution. I complaint to SBI Customer Care also.

              till now my account not credited and I am not satisfied from SBI, So I complaint to you.
              And I hope to refund my Rs.700/=00.

              I want to plz take action fast.

                I used my SBI Bank ATM at ICICI Bank ATM machine, Sector 45 B, Chandigarh.I swaped my card for Rs 1500 and a slip came out saying Transaction declined, i tried again and same thing happend.I thought there is some problem with the machine so i tried using the card on another ATM machine from where i came to know that my money is already deducted from my account when i used ICICI bank ATM, though the money did not appeard and i got a slip saying Transaction Declined.
                Please consider the case, as i am in great need of money and Rs 1500 mean a lot to me at this time.

                  THEY SAY POINTS NOT REDEEMED FOR TWO YEARS LAPSE. I HAD MORE THAN 1000 POINTS BEFORE 2 YEARS.

                  as the rewards sbi card is offering for more points we have to wait for the points to gain the rewads but suprising their or reducing the points stating the points are lapsed the gain what they are giving should not be taken back it is our hard earned gift. or they can give the benefit by way of cash back for the value of the purchase as the other banks do with these type of reducing the rewards point which is lapsed will reduce the interest of having the card by the people like me i am waiting for the loan to finish and then to cancell the card
                  thre is a lot of confusion for availing the redemption points, please guide me

                    My self Sudhir Kumar Jena, 2nd Floor, Niyati Millenium, RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd., Pune-411014 states that I have taken SBI Credit Card - with card no.- [protected] & used it till Yr.2007. In the month of Nov.-2007, one person from SBI Credit card had rang up in my mobile & asked to take SBI Life Insurance facility. I had asked him to send me the details, after which I can take this policy . But unfortunately SBi Credit card had charged me Rs 433.92 on 25.12.07 as my outstanding on the month of DEC.-07.
                    I had made written complaint on 26.12.09 to customer care. But there was no reply & on 20.5.08- they( AVP, Customer care) had mailed me that they are going to resolve this issue at the earliest. I had complained through mail on dted-23.5.08, 29.5.08, 08.8.08, 13.8.08, 28.8.08, 03.9.08, 20.5.08.
                    Today -01.6.09- when I had contacted with customer care they are asking for Rs 3800.00 to resolve this issue permanately.
                    Since I had not got any oppertunity in getting SBI Life insurance- Super Suraksha Policy & my card is blocked, how can I pay this amount of Rs 3800.00.

                    Pl. be considerate to resolve this issue at the earliest.

                        Hi,
                        i tried to draw the amount RS 10000 ON[protected] In ICICI ATM LOCATED AT ongole.Prakasam(dist), A.P.By using my SBI debit card.
                        Due To SERVER Problem i didn' take my cash at that time and my transaction was cancelled.
                        But In my SBI a/c mini statement .it is showing Rs 10000 was deducted on same day.
                        please look into this and help me regarding this.

                        Hi, I am Thomas P.G. I have three problem, Pl consider these problem as earlier as possbile.

                        1) My ATM card's fonts can't read and it is spread.
                        2) Actually my ATM card is International ATM cum Debit Card. Now I want it Domestic ATM Card
                        3) In your web site there is no charge for ATM card. But my account statement show deduction of Rs.100 for ATM Debit users fee.

                        Pl. reissue a fresh Domestic card ATM Debit Card and pl clarify why deduct Rs.100/= from my account

                            Dear Sir,
                            With reference to my SBI card [protected], on receipt of my card statement for the month of 2/9/2007, I found that the bank has debited me with an amount of Rs-10000/- towards some purchases from TOYNICA INTERNATIONAL but I have never made this transection, so I contacted to the customer care regarding the wrong debit and when I asked for charge slip of these transection but the bank could not arrange the same to me nor they still could provide me with the address. Since then I have talked many time about the reversal of this amount but the SBI Bank officials did nothing to resolve the matter.

                            So I request you to please do the needful to sort my this problem at the earliest.

                              Respected Sir,
                              I was used Union Bank Of India ATM Card in the atm of SBI of Tularam Chowk at Jabalpur and withdrawl Rs. 400 but it was come out and the account showing that money was withdrawl. How it is possible. Without giving the money outside how it is debited from the account.
                              I was complaint in the Union Bank of India, at High Court Bar Counsel Branch at Jabalpur on dated 07.05.2009 but till today I have not found any responce from the atm team members and no amount is credit in my account also. Please do the needful.

                              I agree because I am also facing the problem. Sometimes amount not received by the customer and it is deducted from the account. Some time it is two times deducted the amount. How it is possible.
                              It can not be repeatative other wise no one is use to atm in the future.

Sir I had withdrawn a sum of Rs 10, 000 on 6th April 09 from UTI ATM RAMGARH [BARKAKANA] but I have not got my money, receipt shows that transaction is cancel but my 10, 000 Rs has cut from my account. I had complaint to my branch but they are not taking it serious. I had submitted the xerox of that receipt and fill the application form but they are not giving any response . Three months have passed now but still I have not got my money.

                                I joined MOSL-SBI net trading offer by paying Rs 5000 up front. then my Rs 25000 were held in lein. the service was not functional, no one at SBI offfice to guide or help, no response to complaints ultimately my Rs 5000 was lapsed without pproviding service and thank God Rs 25000 wasa released after a few months.

                                i want Rs 5000 back, Interest on Rs 25000 held in lein for the period and appropriate damages

                                Besides adequate publicity of the fraud by SBI-MOSL combine.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Sub: GE SBI Credit Card #[protected]


                                  This is regarding one of my very old Credit Card I was holding 4yr back, I used this credit card for 1year period where is found that services are below standards in terms of sending timely statements, crediting payments on statements etc.

                                  Unfortunately I did not receive monthly statements of credit card timely on my above mentioned address, and I missed the due date of making minimum payments towards the purchase made in earlier months.

                                  Finally I went to close my card since I was not happy with the services at all, but they had charged Late payments and overdue interest over and above the principal outstanding, I refused to make any payment on charges except principal because it was not my fault.

                                  After a few months they sent me a letter dated 26th May 2006, where it was mentioned that against an O/s of Rs.8803/- I should pay Rs.4401/- which could close this matter for the full and final, they also mentioned that “my account will stand fully settled and the balance outstanding on my account will be reversed”. I was told to make payment of above amount not late then 30th June 2006, so I did the same and I paid Rs.4401/- on 29th of June 2006.

                                  Surprisingly they have again sent a demand payment notice dated 11-May-2009 of Rs.12264.03
                                  Which has shocked me badly, this was a fraudulent settlement did by GE SBI CARD.
                                  Me and my family is harassed by GE SBI Cards for the collection of above mentioned amount.
                                  We are very much depressed and urge you to take strict action against the company on this issue. Also request you to instruct GE SBI Card to provide apology letter along with No due Certificate of Credit Card Account.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I would like to inform you that I purchased a few sarees from Adi Mohini Mohon Kajilal saree shop on 13th September 2008. The total amount of the bill was Rs. 7095.00 (bill no. 5169). I made this payment using a State Bank of India ATM/debit card.
                                    After the purchase, I noticed that this amount has been debited twice from my savings-bank account (S/B no. [protected]). When I informed the bank authorities about this problem, they told me to contact the showroom where I bought the materials and get one certificate of single receipt of the payment. After getting the required certificate from the concerning bank (Citi Bank) of Adi Mohini Mohon Kajilal saree shop, I applied to Mr. Paul (Head cashier of State Bank of India, Beadon Street Branch, Kolkata) on 23.10.2008
                                    He told me to contact after 45 days, as it is the minimum time to resolve any complain of this nature. After 45 days when I contacted him again he asked me to come after a week. In this manner I visited him quite a few times but the problem remained far from being solved. During one of such visits in February’2009 I found that Mr. Paul has been transferred. In such circumstances I contacted the branch manager (State Bank of India, Beadon Street Branch, Kolkata) Mr. N. K. Choudhury on 7th February’09 and explained the problem to him and gave him a copy of the application. When I again visited the branch on 7th March’09 to check the status of my application, Mr. Choudhury sent some correspondence to the head office of State Bank of India and told me to wait for another 45 days. Although the mentioned period of 45 days is again over, the problem is still to be solved.
                                    I would like to bring it to your attention that even after waiting for almost seven months and visiting the banks (both SBI as well as Citi Bank) many times, no appropriate action has been taken. In this scenario I request you to consider the matter and take the necessary and appropriate action.

                                    Oh ho.. I think I saw this in the right time. I also got into the same issue now. My account has debited two times against a single purchase. Filed the complaint in the branch and they said it will take minimum 45 days to resolve. So what about the maximum? Is this issue increasing with SBI ATM cards?

                                    Another issue is that, when I report this issue in the branch they asked me to contact the shop and get confirmation letter from them saying they received the payment only once. I was able to do this time but what if I was in a journey? Should I go back to the shop and get the letter for filing a complaint? Then it is better not to use SBI ATM for purchases during journeys.

                                    It has been more than a year when i complained on[protected] regarding doble debit of amount from ATM while shopping i.e. on[protected] in SBI sector- 30 branch chandigarh.



                                    It was said to me at that time that such cases take two months to get your money back, so i went their after 2 months an d they said nothing has been done, it's all in hand of bombay branch. I followed up i again went there and i was getting same old replies and excuses only nothing has been done, it has been now more than a year and i'm suprised how long it should take.

                                    In bank where you can find about one rupree differece where it is, bank is unable to get my money back.



                                    I know this problem doen't take more than 15 days to get ur money back because this problem happened with my another ATM.

                                      I have done some marketing from big bazar through my SBI ATM card but unfortunately they debited the money of amount Rupees two thousand nine hundred eighty eight (Rs.2988/-) only from my SBI account at IIT Kharagpur on 24th October 2008 twice instead of once. But till now(28th May 2009) am not getting my money back despite my several application given to SBI (IIT Kharagpur) and Big Bazar (Kharagpur).

                                      Kindly tell me what should i do? where should i register a case? How can I get my money back with compensation?
