i am lalit kumar . i am the customer in SBI bank (sbi- karwi). My account nos - [protected]. i have to inform u on april 09 to lost in my atm card. After this to apply atm request again in my karwi branch (may)and atm charges already cut it . than after to call customer care he saying that kuch application main problem ho gi . than after to contact in own branch he saying that form mai koi problem nahi hain acha problem hai toh bataooo but sir accurate information is not display both of them . as i request to pls solve this problem. i hope u to be solve this problem . I AM FACING VERY HUGE PROBLEM WITHOUT ATM.

    Hi,

    Good mornging,

    i am fedup of sbi credit card and there poor service... i have never asked them to give insurance cover to my credit card but these people have done that without my knowledge and i am not receiveing any statements for this charges. every month i am receiving SMS to my mobile and insurance charges adding up everymonth.. can someone help me in canceling my sbi credit card. i have not using this card from past two and half year.

    Credit Card — close the credit card

    Dear Sir/ madam,

    I have closed my sbi credit card before four month but till date I have recieved bill with every month interest and pently included in it. When I talked your coustomer care They advise me that you broke the your credit cards and drop it in drop box. I have made last full and final payment to you for rs. 400/- on your coustomer care officer demand . Please look in this matter and do the needful.

    SBI Credit Card Section,

    I had a credit card of your bank (card no-[protected]) & it has been canceled around six month ago. Now I have received a card statement (25th Dec 07) that I have to pay some of money as “insurance protect plan” on my credit card.

    Please let me know if card isn’t canceled or to whom I have to meet for solution of this issue or if you are able to solve this issue than please do it on urgent basis.

    SBI — Cancel the credit card

    Myself Sushant Tatyasaheb Havale having Credit Card Of SBI Bank with Credit Card number [protected].Myself is not utilising the credit card so i want to cancel the same with mentioned credit card number.Its my personal decision to cancell the credit card.So please take a serious note regarding cancellation of Credit Card For Credit Card No [protected] and let me know about the cancellation status.

    SBI Credit Card — Non-credit card holder gets payment stament/SMS

    SBI Card — Unsolicited credit card and renewal charges

    SBI credit card was renewed in my name and new one sent to me unsolicited valid from1.8.02 for 2 years and renewal charges of 1500 Rs imposed without my asking for same. Inspite of repeated requests, written and verbal, these charges have not been reversed, though the card was not used at all and its extension not solicited. Now the bill amount has been understood to be made over Rs. 10000/- which is nothing but fleecing by the reputed bank and causing mental agony and harassment
    i have credit card bearing crcrdno.[protected].

    i have paid full amount on june 2008 of Rs18000/-, because i want to close my card.i have closed my card online i., e customer care and they have taken my request of closure of my credit card.

    But till date they have not closed my credit card and they have levied chgs of Rs.63/-.Why i should pay these chs when i paid extra money for closing, i want to close my credit card immediately and send me the letter of closing my credit card.

    Really you people are fit for nothing just after closing also you people are sending statements and disturbinf personal life of customers.
    Pls respond or else i will go to customer complaint forum .
    and kindly give me the numbers so that we can speak to customer care only you have recorded msgs.

    SBI Credit Card — terminated but still receive statements

    Dear Sir,
    i am using SBI credit card [protected], i have already terminated the card by paying all out satind amout as iam transfering to saharanpur(there is not any collection center in the city) on 11th may08. verbally & written application also Email at customer services.
    But still I am recieving satatement with late fee every month.

    SBI Credit Card — Asking to pay amount even after cancelling the card

    Hi,

    I had cancelled my SBI credit card, by paying Rs.500 some 2 months before. I have not used the card for around 1 year and the crd was showing some amount. I payed the amount just to avoid the calls asking for payment. I had got a letter also telling that the card is cancelled. Today i got an sms telling about some amount for this card. I had kept the calcellation latter for sometime and thrown it. Now i dont have the details also with me. Luckly i didn't throw my card.

    Please let me know what to do for this.

    SBI Credit Cards — Card cancellation because of additional charges

    Dear Ma'am/ Sir,

    Kindly note my SBI GOLD VISA card no is [protected]( Vijay Patel).


    The complaint is that I am receiving continuously finance
    charges and late fee charges in my statement which is for not paying installment of Royal Sundram mediclaim policy.

    The background is,
    SBI executive described the policy on some date of Jan-07. I requested him to give me time for thinking over the features and to call me after some days. But he insisted on saying yes or no on that very moment it self and if I wished I could cancel policy by simply making a call to SBI customer care centers,
    Hence in the month of Feb 2007 I called up SBI customer care center and informed up to cancel the policy. Inspite of cancelling the policy long back I am receiving the policy charge along with added service and interest charges.

    Kindly note all other purchases and expenses made on the card have been timely paid by me.

    I did a polite request to revert back the policy related charges since initiation so that I continue using the card for my other requirements but instead of cancelling all charges they offer me
    to pay Rs 2200/- to stop receiving charges in the statement and I paid by considering that they will stop all these but it has not happen. And today I came to know that they have kept me in the list of defaulters, I am not defaulte.

    Now if I apply for any caredit cards, they says that "we can not issue a credit card because your banking history is not good."

    I request you to do the needful, please check my records with HSBC Bank, I am having HSBC GOld Credit card, and it's nop is [protected].

    SBI Credit Cards — Non Renewal of Credit Card

    Credit card due for renewal in August 08 not renewed so far. Remainded through mail already. Helpline not of any use. Minimum payment demanded often will not be paid till such time card renewed. Follow up immediate action to despatch credit card or otherwise case will be taken up with consumer court.
    Its really shame on the bank like SBI ...and the credit card is the i have ever seen i have never asked them to give insurance cover to my credit card but these people have done that without my knowledge and sending me the insurance charges in the monthly statement. and its adding up everymonth..and i have been using this card for 3 years an to my surprise they have charged an annual fee of Rs.750/- and Rs.250/- for add on card and i am really fed up with these monthly payments and i have decided not to use this card any more ...but with out my notice and permission they renewed my credit card and sent a new card and i have decided not to pay the amount that they have sent...
    any suggestions regarding can be forwarded ...
    I am a sufferer too. You need not pay such charges. Start using SBI's Gold Debit Card instead which has a cash withdrawal limit of Rs.50, 000/- per day and is very convenient.

    SBI Credit Card — extra chrages after switching the account

    I Tejpal sangle, SBI Credit card no[protected], br Pune, has resigestered credtit cred back(which was cut into 4 portion according tobanks rules) before8 months along with mentioned doucuments and reasons. Afterthat, as all the bill statements, i was getting late .SBI Bank was not charging annual fees since last three years .Now after clsoing card transactoins, bank is demanding for annual charges.I dont want any transaction from yhe cared.I have already paid the charges and i am not bound for any payment of bank.
    Iam commmon man and harraesd due to such 2 letter from delhi branch.

    I am very much about their insurance charges for every statement. I have already informed, that is not required for me. But, they are continuously adding that charges in my card. So, I have planned to cancel my credit card.
    In response to my earlier letter dated 10th February, 2009, I am in receipt of your letter Reference Number : MQ[protected] dated 9th March, 2009 stating as under :
    (1) my request regarding reversal of charges is under consideration.
    (2) SBI Card accounts stands inactive for usage.
    In this regard, I would like to mentioned that I had requested you for cancellation of my Credit Card in the year 2007. I have also not accepted renewed card. In the statement dated 25.01.09 total outstanding due shown as Rs.2908.64.
    You are once again requested to cancel my credit card and since I have not received the renewed card and not holding any SBI credit card, I am not liable to pay any amount as shown in your statement.

    credit cards. — charging after closing the account

    I was using HSBC credit card ( [protected] ) for the last two years and when I joined the executives who came to me told that this card is life time free ( no annual fees). When I got the statement of March 09, it was found that the fees for my card as well as my add on card was charged by the HSBC.Immediately I contacted the customercare and requested them to cancel my cards. They told me to pay the bill after deducting the charges of the card which I was done.But, in the next month I got the bill and found that besides the charges of the card plus finance charges plus service charges etc which I have already informed and confirmed by the customercare of the bank that my card had been cancelled.Moreover in the statement itself it is written that you have cancelled your account.Whilst we are entitled to demand payment of the total balance outstanding.

    Kindly help me to get out of this.

    This is to inform you that long before ive told you to Deactivate my Credit Card after paying all my dues but it still not Deactivated and the statement is coming to my house since i am out of station for last 8 months and when ive checked on online statement it shows my credit Rs. 6000/- i dont know how.     SBI Gold Card — Regarding payments on my card

    Dear Sir,
    This is with reference to captioned subject. i have some dues to my credite card to pay. but due to some financial crunches in my organisation, we are not getting salaries on time, due to that payment towards credit card is been hold. i have requested customer care executives about the fact.But no action has been taken on this issue. every day morning from 9.00am people start chasing and ask the same question which i have already explained to the earlier person.
    i dont know why SBI dont update there system. try to update and plzz stop chasing person who is already in problem...

    State Bank of India — Asked to pay for the Insurance we have not signed for

    State Bank of India is using my SBI Credit Card to pay for the EMI towards Royal Sundaram Insurance. I have just learnt about this after paying EMI for 10 months.I have not signed up for Royal Sundaram Insurance service and was shocked to know that they have been charging me for something I have not purchased.

    I would like SBI to pay the entire amount back into my account else I will file a legal suite against them.
    with referance to your final settelement letter dt13.09.2008, i setteled my account for Rs.12800/- in three installments. I deposited Rs.1000/on 13.09.2008 against receipt no.12454333/book no.252024 & Rs.4406/-on 11.10.2008 against receipt no.12570499/book.no.256670 & last installment through cheque no.606936 of SBBJ on 03.11.2008, thus total RS.12800/- was deposited by me against final settelement of my CC No.[protected]. But unfortunately I received several statements of outstanding payment.I put the matter several times to the executives of your banks.But still i gets the outstanding statement, so I once again request your good self to look in to the matter and resolve the matter at the earliest

    plz closed my cradit card account & paid up to Rs.245 for Cheque No.334739 Dtd.6/07/2009 for SBI Bank, Nanpura, Surat. & give me no due for cradit card certificate immediately.

    State Bank of India — COMPLAINT AGAINT DEEPTI

    Highlighted by me by my previous complaint posted on 21st August against collection calls received from SBI collection caller named Deepti without any Senior Manager or without any Employee code.
    This caller is continously calling me from number [protected] from morning 10 to 7 around 15-20 times.
    I dont know for what she calls as she doesnt seem to literate enough to provide any details and nor she seems to be part of a Bank which is imposes to be.
    SBI has stopped hiring educated people it seems.There seems to be no heirachy which is followed as she never connects me to a senior Manager.
    I require a written apology from this female for talking non sense and misbehaving at my number without any reason.

    How to File a Complaint

    Subscriber may complaint to his telecom service provider, if he receives Unsolicited Commercial Communnication (UCC) even after 45 days of regisering his number for UCC. While making the complaint to this telecom service provider, he should mention the call originating telephone number, date/time of the call and type of commercial message. It may be noted that complaint should be lodged within 15 days from the receipt of such UCC.

    The subscriber should insist for the complaint No. which should be kept for further reference.

    New SBI ADVANTAGE CARD — Not activated so far

    I have received my new SBI ADVANTAGE CARD on 3.9.2009 and I have tried the specified steps to activate my card. But while trying to draw a megre amount of money through the ATM by using this Card with the Bin No allotted to me I am unable to draw the same with the comment that SORRY UNABLE TO PROCESS.
    Kindly do the needful to activate my card and utilise the same for the purpose it meant.

    This is ridiculous that a customer who is your regular customer for sbi credit card, is requesting you to take the details of the payments from the concerned person but still the person at the call center such idiotic fellows not at all talking properly and are running from their duties by using disrespectful words to a lady sounds such horrible.

    Dont you teach your employees to how to talk on phones and how to accept the request of the customer if not than you dont have right to run a national bank and if my request not answered tahn I am bound to take some serious action against the person of your bank.

    Without applying for any card i have received a Credit card from SBI Bank. After shopping from Vishal Mart he asked me to fill up a form for some lucky draw & asked for my ID proof i submitted my Driving License.

    After a few days there were some enquiry calls & i clearly said that i did not applied any such card.

    Even after that they have sent me a credit card & now have started sending statements even though i have not used the card even once.

    SBI Credit Card — DEMAND RAISED WITHOUT APPLYING AND GETTING CREDIT CARD

    I am Rajni Sharma, a handicapped government employeed lady. I was having credit card and made its last payment vide cheque No.955687 cleared on dated 8.10.2005 whcih was transferred in SBI Account #[protected]for Rs.20000/-. On the same day we also requested for its cancellation and as per advice we broken it into six pieces and put it their box
    It is pertinent to mention here that thereafter we never applied for issuance of another credit card and in the month of June 2006 we received a letter to furnish identity proof to get another CREDIT CARD OF SBI. It is worthwhile to mention here that since we have not applied for issuance of SBI CREDIT CARD we did not furnish any ID proof.
    Btu later on we received telephonic messages that a payment of Rs.66000/-, Rs.1600/- is due but when we replied that we have not applied nor received any caredit card, they informed that no payment is due. But, we again received messages that a payment of Rs.864/- (through ms rina) Rs.6800/- today. Today he again informed that after OTS an amount of Rs.3500/- is due.
    We shall be grateful if your good self could kindly produce the application made by me for SBI credit card, date of receipt of SBI credit card by me.
    it is worthwhile to mention here that I have so far not received any statement since 2005- the date of cancellation of my SBI credit card.
    I hope a thorough investigation would be got carried out and outcome would be informed to us after due punishment to the concerned officers/ officials at the earliest.

    I am holding saving bank account with sbi bank. I had never apply for credit card but I was sent credit card forcefully by registered post ad at my residential address. Till then I am neither having credit card but receiving statement " No Due" till date every month. Whether it is fault that I am holding saving account.

    SBI Credit Card — Charged 3000 even when the card is not used once

    Sir,
    I have a SBI credit card. This was given to me through a sales call saying its a free card with out any changes such as annual chanrge or any thing of such. I had never used the same. However they have activated some insurence on the card and have charged the insurence premium on me. I called several times on this and once they even rectified the same. But after 3 months again the bill started comming in. Now they are offered 1 time settlement of Rs1900/-, and ahve threatned me that if I ignore this now also, they will put my name (Database) into Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited CIBIL.

    Please suggest on what can be done on this issue.

    SBI Credit Card Customer Care is the Worst in the world. I closed my SBI Credit Card and no one from that department can give me the closing letter so I can collect my FD of Rs. 18000. The SBI bank branch keeps telling me to contact the Customer Care. The Customer Care keeps telling me to wait for a number of days every time I call. I been calling them since the beginning of October and it now has been 2 months and still no closing letter.

    Even though I spoke with a Customer Care manager on several occasions and despite the fact the manager promised to resolve my issue within a few days on each occasion, I have yet to receive the closing letter. Calling SBI Credit Cards Customer Care is USELESS!!

    There is no one I can contact in person and the SBI bank branch claims to have no affiliation with SBI Credit Cards and that they can not pay me my fixed deposited as it is locked.

    I know the policy is that you wait 30 days after the SBI credit card is cancelled but in my situation it has been more than 60 days already.

    What is my next step? Can I contact a civil lawyer and sue these called the SBI Credit cards?

    I was issued a visa debit advantage card no 11006 [protected] By SBI Uttam Nagar New Delhi against a promise that nothing will be charged from me if i do not use this card and can return the card as and when required . In the month of January 2011 I was asked to deposit Rs 275/- as annual charges . In the mean time I also came to know
    that one of my F D amonting to Rs, 67000/- was impounded without my knowledge and I was unable to
    encash this FD when I was in need of the money in January 2012 . The credit facility provided was only 45000/- in total against my 67000 + interest money of my F D .

    I am a senior citizen and gave an application on 22-1-11 to a person working in cards section of SBI Uttam Nagar New Delhi to cancel my card . I got my account closed through customer care service . So far my FD is not released . It is a matter of shame on the part of SBI to earn money by such dirty tricks using my money and charging interest and other liabilities against my FD from me.

    I have not received any intimation even after 3 months when i closed my account and cancel led dabit card

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I am K V Tammi Raju working as a school teacher and I am having a Savings bank account in SBI Treasury Branch Kakinada and my A/c No. is[protected].

          Week days back i tried to withdraw Rs. 20000/- from State Bank ATM, It gave me 12000/- instead of 20000/- and also the same 20000/- was debited from my account.

          Immediately i have given a compliant regarding the missing of Rs.8000/- in home branch. They told me that "come after two days, we will check with our ATM service Engineers and let you know the status".

          After two days your Stated Bank people are saying that 'the ATM has dispensed excess amount to some other people, and Our ATM is also in loss of 4000/- so wait for few more days and we will track the transactions. If we found any excess amount we will reverted back"

          So kindly please take necessary steps to revert my money back to my savings account. And also please do let me how much time it will take?

            Dear Sir,

            My self Arun Kumar, S/o Mr. Krishna Sudama is a very old customer of SBI credit card no.[protected] but now I am very much dissatisfied with the services of SBICPSL.

            My card is expired in the month of 02/09 but till date I have not received renewed card. It is a very serious concern for the SBICPSL. Above of all, payment for Mediclaim policy is made to Royal Sundaram, without taking consent of mine and without renewal of card. Which is a very serious matter as well as financial security breach from the side of SBICPSL.

            I have received so many calls from your side and I informed them whole story every time but till date neither I have received renewed card nor any statement.

            Always I was praising for the services of SBICPSL and recommended to my friends to opt SBI credit card, and even I refused to take any other card service provider. But with present worst service, I am bound to think for another credit card service provider as well as not to recommend anyone for SBICPSL.

            I finally would like to request you, please do the needful and give a serious thought to provide best services.

              Sir,

              I was having a SBI credit card no:[protected] way back in 2003. I was paying all my payments regularly and never had any default. In the year 2003, I made a payment of Rs 3000/- towards my bill. However, they charged Rs 350/- towards the delayed payment, though the payment was made in time. Shocked on this, I surrendered my SBI card and requested to cancel the outstanding amount. Still I continued to receive the bills inspite of my various request through telephone, email, correspondence to discontinue sending the bills. Today, I am getting continuous phone call, claiming to be from SBI cards, for recovery of the outstanding amount, which they say is now Rs 270000/-

              Please advise me what should I do now.

              I have used the SBI credit card for some purchase. And tried calling helpline no. For EMI options. But non of the toll free and other SBI credit cards helpline nos. Are functional to solve the issue. Now when I want to make the payment and shut the card. They are iposing penalty and some extra charges of 7000 rupees for the card. I have asked them to shut the card take the ammount and issue me the closing letter for the card I have been issued. This bank is very disturbing as can not handle credit card customers and department. As I use other banks credit card also and happy with the services. My details are. Name: Alpa Dedhia

                  I have taken personal loan form ICICI Bank on 10/10/2007 for which agreement was made on 20/07/2007. From which the problem started when sanctioned the loan, bank has not getting the loan agreement and not discuss the point in the agreement like rate of interest, other charges I have obtained Xerox copy of agreement to executive of the bank but he reject and told we have not give the statement/original copy /Xerox out of office premises and take the signature and told me we will fill up the form and give 36 Cheque . In between application period & sanctioning the scheme of loan one fraud case happen in my case Event happen as, one official person have demand me Rs 1000/- for stamp duty and other expenses and told me it is the bank policy to collect cash when to disbursed the loan for expenses I have agree to his statement subject to one condition "I will paid the amount but either I required valid receipt with stamp and signature or I will paid by crossed cheque in favor of "ICICI Bank Ltd Personal Loan "But he was not agree and tear my loan agreement and through out the Bank office premises and I Collect it and stapled all piece of document [enclosed Xerox copy -2] and make the compliant to Bank head office against the person Bank has made enquiry about the respective person. and I don't know what happen in further As per Circular in case of fraud communicate to RBI as per Statement -2 with in stipulated period When I have submit the return of income I demanded the statement of loan on my E-mail I.D and bank send the statement on my mail and I have seen the rate of interest Charged by bank @ 40.81% it is very Hugh i.e approx half of the loan amount .As per rule interest amount does not excesses than principal amount. in first installment principal amount is Rs 28 and interest amount 3400/- rounded off it is due to heavy interest rate studding the case amount of principal not decreased . Only bank has recover the interest but loan amount out standing no decrease if after some days top up scheme follow new interest will be same procedure follows Therefore I request you to study in deep of my case and give me refund of excess rate of Interest and adjust the same in to my loan amount and determine the rate of interest and installment which is reasonable I hop your decision will be favorable. I also suggest that verify all of the same case or modify the norms of interest and principal. My monthly drawing is short fill due to heavy installment if I have not manage the daily expenditure and any other expenditure whole management will collapse

                          - While I asked you for the waiver of any damages on me, due to your bank not intimating me in time for the EMI cheques having got exhausted & hence incremental interest being levied on the principal amount due .

                          - While every time your phone call comes to clear the current month's balance & not look into the issue in totality of r esolving it, completely.

                          - While undersigned has already offered to clear the complete loan amount due minus the recurring interest being levied for you not depositing my EMI since July'08 .

                          - While in the last 3-4 years there has been no cheque dishonor/delay in the past or now for any reason on me, ever.

                          In all the above scenarios, I repeat my rightful demand to waive away the incremental interest being charged on my outstanding amount, for your bank not intimating & not allowing me to send the EMI cheques in time & to avoid the recurring interest being charged to my Loan account.

                          I'm ready to foreclose the loan on the amount due on July'08 you are requested to intimate that amount to make me clear your outstanding, FULL & FINAL.                           My name is Thanggin Khongsai an ex employee of INOX GLOBAL SERVICES PVTLTD. GLOBAL BUSINESS PARK GURGAON.

                          I have submitted my PF on 22nd may 2009 through my ex employer with PF no HR/25228/1071 for withdrawal of my PF. However, I've not got it nor did i hear anything from the authorities. I don't know if my PF is floating in the air, ??!. or is lying underground. Could you please check and let me know the status of my PF. Oh! i've been chasing my pf for 2 yrs now! and is the second time I submitted the for. I don't know if i will still be chasing untill it takes years and years. If this is the case why is it made compulsory for every employee to invest in this kind of scam where there seems to be no guarantee for return...

                            This complaint is regarding a very careless working of cheque clearance section of State Bank of India, Delhi Cantt. Branch.

                            I dropped one AT PAR cheque in drop box of branch with duly filled up form on[protected] amounting Rs. 1270.50 received from UTI drawn on SBI itself. Cheque No. was 831249. After a week when I checked the status, I came to know that the cheque once credited on[protected] then debited the amount on the same date. In detailed I noticed that they have written bank name Indian overseas bank instead of SBI. I would also like to mention that same amount of cheque received in April 2008 was also treated like this but after a few days, the bank gave the credit. Thinking that same will be credited in few days I waited. But within a month when I got no result, I contacted personally to the bank and was surprised that they are in no position to tell any thing about the cheque. They could not find about the cheque in books and also on the computer. I also checked the despatch register with one of the staff of the bank but could not find entry of the cheque. After that I requested them to return my cheque or clear the status of the cheque but they always asked me to come again later. For the last 7 months I have visited the bank for this a no. of times but in vain. I also complained about this to General Manager SBI Local Head Office, Sansad Marg, New Delhi 9th March 2009 but got no result.
                            In April I again got my final payment from UTI through two cheques amounting Rs. 14771.00 and Rs. 25000. I deposited again in SBI Delhi cantt branch but the same thing happened again. To my surprise they entered in computer that one cheque if from Indian Overseas bank and one is from SBI. But both cheque were from SBI with consequtive nos. 208539 and 208540. They lost the chques once again. I pressed hard to look for the cheques and after visiting no. of times they checked their drawers thoroughly and returned the cheques after one month. I deposited them in Dwarka branch and got them cleared. That clearly indicates that the SBI Delhi cantt branch staff are not working up to the mark.
                            On 3rd June 2009 when more than 6 months have elapsed my earlier cheque was of no use, the Branch Manager gave me a certificate indicating that the cheque was lost somewhere when despatched to me, which was totally misguiding, because the cheque was never returned to me as per their record. Action should be taken and the bank should be panalised for their careless working.

                            I vinod kumar has depositted my cheque of Rs 7842in vasantvihar ATM near Bharat Petrol Pump on11June009(ch no.122422 of syndicate bank) but no clearance has been activated due to not collection of the cheque from drop box.I also contacted to vasant vihar branch telephonically but only promises given to us.Please do at your end
                            i just check out my balance.

                            I dropped one cheque in drop box of branch with duly filled up form on[protected] amounting Rs. 42925/ received from BANK OF INDIA drawn on SBI itself. Cheque No. was 26150. After a week when I checked the status there is no any result . I would also like to mention that after a month there is no any change in progres. I contacted personally to the bank and was surprised that they are in no position to tell any thing about the cheque. I also checked the dispatch register with one of the staff of the bank but i find entry of the cheque. After that I requested them to return my cheque or clear the status of the cheque but they always asked me to come again later. For the last 2 months I have visited the bank for this a no. of times but in vain. I also complained but gote no result. That clearly indicates that the SBI RIT BRANCH JAMSHEDPUR staff are not working up to the mark. Action should be taken and the bank should be panalised for their careless working.
                            i request you to please sovle the matter regarding my cheque clearance

                            SBI Delhi Cantt — return of cheque

                            I am having my account in SBI Delhi Cantt since 1988. My account No is [protected]. I had presented 1 cheques to HDFC on account of the payment of EMI for the loan taken by me. The cheque issued by me dated 30 Sep 09 is already cleared. However, the cheque No 534911(from the same cheque book) dt 10 Oct 09 has been returned by SBI stating that 'no such account exists with them'. My monthy salery is credited in this account and suffcient balance is available. such an action on the part of SBI has caused embrassment to me. Kindly investigate and inform me.

                                1) Monthly statement for Credit Card is sopposedly sent by SBI through Courier but is ACTUALLY NOT DELIVERED.
                                2) I found the first Statement in my LETTER BOX (though with a Courier stamp on it) after three weeks of due date. Obviously, it has been delivered in my LETTER BOX, at the Courier boy's convenience. He is aware, no on shall check him.
                                3) On lodging a complaint with the SBI, the Courier Company calls up and some girl there says their records confirm that the packet has been accepted by me and has also been signed for by me. Some SURENDERA (my name is spelt wrong and I never sign with my first name) has signed for me. She just puts the phone down abruptly after this conversation.
                                4) This is repeated as I have again not recieved my statement but an SMS from SBI confirms the same has been delivered to one SURENDERA. However, I have yet to recieve the statement. On replying to the SBI SMS, a standard reply immediately comes that " your request for non receipt of bill has been registered and for your convenience last three months statements are available on www.sbicard.com"
                                Of-course, this site never opens.
                                5)There are atleast 5 SMS complaints from me and I must say that such attitude towards customers shall not help the bank in the long run. A simple investigation with the Courier Service Contractor can probably resolve all such issues. BUT WHO CARES. Meanwhile, I have requested SBI to kindly withdraw this fascility of the Credit Card from me. I shall not use this Card henceforth. Why should I go through all this torture unnecessarily.

                                SBI bank has send me my credit card to my hyderabad address videairway bill no SB[protected] dt01/10/08.It was not delivered or even they have not come to residence and returned the card to SBI, stating that no one is at the address though everyone is at the residence and I also provided authority letter and other document like PAN card etc. And they are not lifting the phone while i am contacting them thru ph#30584904/905 (given by SBI Credit Card officials) to know the status.

                                    I am a regular customer of State Bank of India (SBI) and hold my personal savings bank accounts with couple of core banking branches of SBI in India. SBI Personal Banking Branch (PBB), E-48, GK-1, New Delhi is denying to receive my cheque (not even in drop box) and update my SBI savings bank passbook since I do not hold an account with that particular branch. On argument Mr. S K Sandilya, Accountant (as he mentioned his name and designation on request) replied that they can update the passbook on payment of Rs. 10/- per update but they would never serve such a customer of SBI like me by receiving my cheque. He also mentioned that such cheques can only be submitted to any other SBI core banking branch which is not a PBB. Can a core banking branch of SBI behave so by denying core banking facilities and claim themselves as a core banking branch?

                                    On the other day SBI Masjid Moth has also charged Rs. 10/- while updating my SBI savings bank account passbook which is with other core banking branch of SBI. Can a core banking branch of SBI charge so for a core banking facility?


                                    The very concept of core banking system envisages that banking facilities should remain available to all customers, irrespective of the fact whether he is holding his account in particular branch or not. In fact it represents multi-locational and multi branch network which has become possible with the advancement of communication technology. The stand taken by the aforesaid branch is against the basic principles of CBS.

                                    Sir same thing happened with me. I went to Janak puri branch near Janak Cinema for deposite of my money into my son's account in Manipal. Sir, I requested those silly jack to deposite my money but they treated me like i was begging them for something. I felt bad about this that i complained to the higher authorities but till date nothing happened.

                                      Please note when I want to withdraw money from the SBI ATM it says" The card is unauthorised Or is not properly inserted." But I am able to withdraw money from other banks like Punjab National Bank etc. I am cutomer of Credit card since Aprl 2005 and this problem has started since two months . I had been to my State Bank branch, Nehru Place and tried to solve the problem but The problem still exists.
